"The third overall pick Adam Henrique, a second round pick in a second tier prospect. Um Okay. 33rd overall pick this year, third overall pick this year. And cigarettes that I mean that to me. It's either if you're trading with Anaheim, you're getting the third overall pick and either Trevor's eager ser Jaime Drysdale, your top two prospects and then you add from there. You know? Erin's trying to do his best to to make it a little more interesting. Pete Tweets in Jack Eichel. For Mike Weber, Tyler Ennis and a third round pick. Pulling the the good old Mike Weber Tyler Ennis, any third rounder out of the bag. And Pete says it's never not funny. It is never not funny. Let's go to Kyle. You're not Kyle. Uh, we go to Ari here who tweets in Eichel for McDavid's one for one. This isn't 2016. This isn't the crazy 30 minutes of of hockey trades and signings that we had back then, when it was Weber for Suban and then haul for Larson and then the Steven Stamkos resigning. It's not one for one. If you're talking Michael for McDavid's. It's just not happening. Uh, this might be the same tweeter and texture kind of coming in Tony from Niagara Falls. Maybe because literally it is exactly the same traded are actually no, they just leave out, so it's different. Tony in Niagara Falls, He tweets in, uh Eichel for Chuck Monahan and their 20 21st rounder. That's it's just not happening. You're not trading. Uh, you're not training cycle for Kichak Monaghan in the first round, and the other text was Eichel to Calgary.

"Ever. She's calling this. She's calling this Bea Arthur pop up video, she said. I heard the lorry and Julia disaster live on the air. But hearing Bea Arthur's pop up video commentary Best thing ever. OK now, B. B. I have a clip. I have a clip pulled up. I'm gonna play this is I think this is where you are in your story where Lori starts to realize the battery and her laptop battery in her laptop is going bad, and she doesn't know why. So and then we'll stop it and B, you can add commentary. So here's a little bit of it's a little bit of glory and Julia trying to broadcast from home is Laurie starts to realize there's trouble afoot. It's kind of nice. I don't want to make a habit of this dream. It was so stressful. I'm just gonna tell people. How stressed how stressed you guys. Me. You you work, but Lori and I was so stressed. I mean, Julia, I don't even cut and paste Well, I had been typed in the http long, long, long address bite and because I am terrible at great flicks, and I'm just admitting it. Well, okay. Be omon be nothing. I thought white b. Not that I thought you were. I mean, not lying, but I'm not that I thought you were doing like, you know, wrapping things up for the show. But you you were. You were actually conservative with your description. She doesn't know how to write, click, Okay, and I gotta have to say here's the other level. I'm in my car on day two of trying to take a vacation and not taking a vacation because I've been in this station the day before for hours, friends with these kids together and trying to set up an email for Laurie and trying to blow Yeah, that. So this is date this a second day, and there's been other things. That is the second day and I'm like in my car thinking I went down to my car and I'm like, I'm gonna have to drive. And laughing at the same time I call him and I go what the hell and he goes Amy. I don't know what the hell's going on. And then we both start laughing at me explaining everything. He's already explained the lorry which irony of explained everything the lorry and we're laughing our heads up. We are like Dying, laughing and swearing at the same time. I would also like to point out for Rocco sake that he she goes word. This is so stressful. We're stressed Julia and he goes. She's like are you stressed, and Rocco goes me and she goes, not you. You're not stressed. No,.

"They're gonna be able to run the ball but i don't know how well they're going to be able to pass the ball against that secondary especially with tom brown and what he's been known to do in passing scenarios like third-down down red zone things like that. It's going to be dynamic plan and wish. I think it was cost is going to struggle with it and especially coming off of last year how it went. I think this year it's going to be another game like that. Even though it is in camp randall you have any prediction so prediction <hes> coming off a bye week for both teams in camp randall. I'm gonna be out of setting michigan makes a statement win. I think they they come out of there with a big win like forty to fourteen forty two forty one forty one now. I'm gonna call forty forty two fourteen. I th i think they come out of there with a big win and and and i really both sides of the ball they have they have the advantage right now and <hes> obviously there's a lot of question remarks that are being answered currently in fall camp for both teams but i think that's that's going to be a a statement win for michigan to kinda ride into the meat of the this season i agree. I have went in twenty eight to ten little closer. I'm going the opposite route here with a major peop- for the wisconsin faithful here and wisconsin wins twenty four twenty three. Oh wow regulation or overtime. I regulation. I wanna make sure we're keeping track of these predictions prediction because that's all i'm gonna say. Jonathan taylor goes for two hundred hundred. He only got one hundred last year and it's going to do better this year. He's worked tarred this off season. He's also he's not facing the front seventy face last year. They're going to hand to them. Eight thousand times also yeah two hundred probably average four yards a carry but yeah for sure all right so that's our kind of our our dive into week three kind of our college football preview like i said we're only going to dive into the first four weeks ish because after that it's it's a moot point. We'll dive into those once. Those teams are developing and we can see him once we can see him on t._v. The last thing i want to do before we close does this out as a new segment. I wanna run. It's called over under and it's this is going to be not just like over under gambling segment but this is over under in general just gimme your predictions over under and again these are tracked so over under i one buckeyes we'll j._k. Dobbins go over fifteen hundred yards rushing and he had fourteen hundred as a freshman when mike weber was kind of her kinda didn't play that much and hasn't hasn't come close to that since but will he now with the departure of mike weber. Will he eclipse fifteen hundred yards rushing this season. I'm gonna say over. I'm going over as well. I think with with the added run game with the quarterback. I think he'll get more opportunities to breakage longer runs. I'm gonna go under under. I'm saying he's back to freshman form. I think uh-huh jacob dobbins is a really good player. He's a really good back. I don't think he is in ezekiel elliott type of back so i'm i'm putting him at about fourteen hundred. I think it'll be close but i think he's going under the next one. The nebraska cornhuskers i'm going over under ten wins this year. Oh boy he's gonna have to look at their schedule on on over under ten wins. I mean they obviously didn't have the year last year that you would have. I'll say under your taking the scott frost affect here. You're gonna say under what they would like to last year. They started owen six. I'll go. I'll go over over so it's tough because i think they're going to win ten nine and a half so we can win some yeah you're right. I should have said it at nine and a half so we said at ten so you're you're going to get. We're going under and over yeah. I'll take the under all day. I'm saying on the full season though ballgame ballooning ballgames okay. I'm going over then. I'm just looking at their schedule..

"In you know i'm low on douglas i say seven and nine because they did try and all season to improve their team kind of made needed to the last year seven and nine hundred and division last year. It just feels like they're gonna hit a wall. I got the floor at two in fourteen. Listen to this. They never scored ford more than sixteen points in their final five games last year us. I can't believe that that go to fourteen to and squint put this out there. They will have the number one pick in n._f._l. Draft this team has there. There's just man. I wish i wish i was on owner n._f._l. Team it could be the eagles cab. Was that division right now. Those two teams johnson risk is the redskins were so for off. My radar like i came came in the a._f._c. east pod to call miami the worst team in the league. The redskins were so far from radar. I forgot. I kind of forgot about them. So yeah i'm with you. I think they compete for the number one pick. They're going to be up there. Who's going to play quarterback for this case. Keenum might get pat shurmur on his side mccoy's death jordan right now uh-huh told mccoy from texas for him. Go mccoy case keenum to wayne haskins. They're all fantastic western names. Give them that. I mean colt hope. Mccoy wanted dead or alive case keenum who drew first dwayne haskins shaima the testing western names so who cares who cares running back adrian peterson not an rb a two as the guy last year he wasn't to last year girl is the running back forty four guys should be ready and he's currently the running back twenty nine so that people or drafting him as if they think he's going to be the starter right now chris thompson running back seventy two he was on a tear with alex smith earlier in the year he miss five games and was an afterthought when he returned you know he was basically. I don't wanna play with josh john's. Let's go chris. Thompson was thinking so a._d._p. Will definitely bounce a lot in the pre this season. I think all these guys will be shifting a lot wants. The preseason starts once. We see start peterson start guys thompson. It's crowded backfield. I mean who do you wanna taking that well and that oh my well. I got a zach thanking. Adrian peterson filed bankruptcy so maybe he's going. Let's play off. His mind cassini's another contract. He's like you know what i'm saying like. He's he's like. I got to play hard this year. I got you know oh. I'm not a hall of famer. I gotta get. I go into business right million dollars so he may play just ridiculously in bust off twelve hundred dollars ten touchdowns. Maybe you can come out with a line of switches. Usually guys guys guys. I guess l._s._u. Boy twenty on right now if he breaks off a long run in the preseason good luck yeah. What do you think he's going to go and your draft friday night. He's l._s._u. Local boys yeah. I say he'll he'll make topped up nine rounds. I'm sure with this crew wide receiver what a frickin miss what a mess josh docs and paul richardson. I'll tell you a name name and i think i've already told you about this guy and op season trae quin l._s._u. Troy he transferred had to go to lewisite sadly drops the right decision. Obviously couldn't hang with the big boys. Gotta go but hey you're gonna. You're with the big boys. Now yeah with the big boys now washington redskins leads. He's a sneaky bed to lead this team dog. It's going to be really good out of the slot. You're in a p._b._r. Draft take him late. Take him late could be the number one receiver on this team but the actual actual number one receiver is jordan reed supposedly having the best camp of his career. All his toes are intact this offseason as a health always a concern for read thirteen games played last year but not really healthy all season first off season. He didn't have some kind of procedure done. His toes are intact act. They feel a lot better than antonio. Brown does right now. I'll tell you that maybe the raiders should've had cold feet when trading for brown <music> he's feet of frostbitten doesn't know pretty tie and a read goodbye never never never ever ever ever ever in the history of ever right watched it sucks sake and by the way i want to say send as much as we're talking about jones with the ally i think washington to be dumped haskins a lot more rawal definitely and i think they should just not sure him city year and they got to capable players that let them learn from c. Holy really yeah from golden case. Let them go you pay became for a reason just sitting learn from they do have knowledge wasted year for the redskins goodbye mr gruden goodbye hi. I coach fired from sure hey did make the playoffs two thousand fifteen ninety seven. Oh no he's made. The place looks good for you that bothers some time he gets. It just needs a talent. Man had some bad luck. It'll be good offense coordinator next year well zach faster. We've come. It's america's team to the dallas cowboys. They won the division last year. They lost to the tennessee titans on monday night football and they said you know what we can't be losing to to the tennessee titans. They went seven one down. The stretch caught fire after the marku portrayed. What stadium do they played a._t. And t. state of awesome course you've been to that with few times. They added randall cop. They added a prolific tv announcer jason witten christian covington covington george i okay i don't safety from the bingles. They drafted tristen. He'll connor mcgovern. They got a couple running backs. Tony pollard from from memphis and mike weber from ohio state. They lost kobe's lee david irving jeff swain who may lead the jaguars wires reserved receiving the tight end position and damian wilson at linebacker so they're sailing. I got them at twelve and four thank them for twelve evan fourth that could be good could be good with seventy one down. The stretch last year won a playoff game beat seattle at in in dallas. I actually picked him to lose that game. So they surprise me gave the rams a better game than what it seemed like but in in the score by the score the team to yeah i definitely think they'll compete with the eagles and they're they're gonna be good. They got they got good offense and defense. They're just got good. Balance both ways definitely that'll wing gangs for your defense could be ferocious for sure with or without zeke. I think this team makes the playoffs. That's how important running back sound portio jerry jones on the totem and they showed it and then they ain't been no bags really know top running backs winning it lately jimmy three three rookie running backs in a committee. I'll play into work. Oh you're jeblah when dak prescott is a._d._p. Is quarterback seven tain gene right now seventeen. He was the quarterback eight in points per game after the maury trade last year i think he throws for his force his forced i is i four thousand yards season this year with that elliott. I think i think that's going to happen. Hey what what's your floor for the cowboys. I make nate oh i got six and ten because i got six and ten i do think they have a lower floor because jason garretson head coach. Oh you're you're not he's not a good guy. I'm not a clapper opera. I'm all in. I'm gonna tell you i've been i've been around head coaches some look. Hey coach really head coach. Israeli the coordinators most. I got clamp minimum. Just make sure everybody just control everything so you're killing more believable then offense coordinator yeah. Yes you just brewlights. He was often scored. I remember kenmore plan for the cowboys. I'm big cooper rush guys back a few kinda gay star oneday. They say yeah all right well. He can come to the saints. There's about to be a position. They're easy trevor laurels and then trevor lars. Let's talk about the elephant in the room z. Q. l. u. ezekiel elliott. You're in a draft this friday. We're recording this august seventh august sixth he you're in a draft this friday. You have the tenth pick. Are you taking hezekiah freezer literally as i'm driving into the yard over got a text from kobe off on your past a co host jor and i'm number two. Are you taking elliott number ten. I said no you can have him he said while of course i can have on before you know you can have the next round two. I'm not taking elliott anytime at all. I don't see any levy on bell situation. I know earlier in bailed kind of have similar personalities. Nowadays has some questionable behavior off the field not happening. Okay i can get in the fourth round. Maybe yeah if he's there at that other. There's always going to be there at that point <music>. I'm not i've seen the failure of taking running back high and then it just you could completely torpedo your team for sure so whoever does take elliott. They gotta get one of the backups. Tony pollard right. Now looks like it looks like he could play smooth. He looked who have voice changed. It looks like you could play this team. Even if elliot does come back don't be bothered him most exciting players ears on the team at camp this week. One of those exciting players on the team could play right away. Mike weber is being talked about the direct backup for elliot so i think you're gonna committee between those two so if you have elliott this early your draft this early you gotta draft elliott. You must have to get both of them. You must have pollard in web so good luck houston three versus spots on your team for one position i agree i agree and and <hes> the fact they're saying that scare me even more fairly silent about the other bags you know so well. Thank thank you know everything in camp with a grain of salt but but you know tony bollards pretty good. He didn't get a chance to showcase it as much darrell henderson in the same backfield. Is them memphis pretty good running back. That could just be jerry jones like see. I got a new a new girl. Look at zeke. He's a lot cheaper doing yeah. Look pollard cost me anything. I didn't have to take him fourth overall overall pay anyway so no more the living legend alfred moore's not interested at this point in alfred morris. I won't tony pollard if draft anybody off the state. That's why i won't alfred morris gosh i. I hope he's not relevant but he could be no okay good about five years receiver. Maury cooper is is currently the receiver third drafts in a._d._p. He it was the wide receiver. Twelve points per game of wide receivers played six games after week eight eight point four targets a game once being traded did the dallas. Is there more upside. Could he be better than that. I think we've seen up. I'm not a mark cooper guy. I forgot this is going on after the draft. I am not amari cooper guy. Just not so okay are you. I like you. I think he's gonna be mostert in this team bob. I think he's gonna get peppered with dr gets lean eighteen twelve targets a game. You don't think i think adding randall cobb will take supposed targets way. I've seen rent a copy solid yet still kinda young seven years years ago. He's probably still under thirty. I think <hes> i don't know if he's under thirty but random grab hasn't really been on my radar but he is no. He's not really being drafted at all right right now so if you think he's gonna catch five or six the game go far. Michael gals being drafted as wide receiver fifty six averaged fifteen point four yards a reception last last year. Michael gallup did could be sneaky. I'm gonna go cobb excuse. I'm big nine guy so i like some of the receivers little more the new tight end jason witten no thanks. Let's just be honest. That was a that was a cop out. He was like terrible and his fans like hey let me leave e._s._p._n. And hoping to this year and just go to bolivia where it is living so the guy i'm going to own. The most on this team is definitely dak. Prescott thinking is a great value right now. I'm keeping them. One of my two quarterback leagues think he's a great value daily like that..

"Okay. Over there, maybe you should back off. Maybe you got something to say, and then he just kinda shoves him into the barricade, which types over skill. But backer is. But knowing to your point, this cameras everywhere, this is not nineteen eighty everybody has a camera and overhead cameras cover everything. But this camera this which is someone saying, but everybody has it so you even know that if I get into any kind of altercations chances going to be broadcast, right? So then the Las Vegas. Police department comes over one of the officers and says, I'm gonna put you in cuffs and he does not retaliate or try to resist at a good turns around and says, okay cuff me, and then the security, young man walked over and maybe he was a cowboy fan or maybe he knows Zeke is, and he said, no drop it. I'm not going to press charges. No, being with an Zeqiri. Exactly. Now, I want to press charges. Now he good my motor Maho. Boy. Doing. Here's the thing, though. He is not just some average twenty year old and he's got to start to realize that because you said something that he may be the best running back in the NFL some concert intoxicated. It's not a good. You got to be better cook, you'll backyard or so. You have not tell guys this all the time, automatically food. The moment I leave my house. I'm being videotape. Over yasser. Soon then. Grocery store. I don't care about airport lachey. So I have automatically assumed that Zeke will not be available for game one. This is my gut lead that Roger Goodell, no arrests on duct unbecoming just bad. Look bad, look bad look that he will suspend him for two games, and it will be reduced to one game and I'm trying I'm already looking at my schedule can my team beat ally and saquon without Ezekiel Elliott. I think they can. But I don't know. So Mike Weber the seventh round out Ohio State banks. He carried any tote the raw would you took? You took a fourth round from Wisconsin, Memphis. Yeah. Hey, get on your holler. And he's more of a flash. Dash guys more of a slot receiver y'all. Got you got the best quarterback in the gay. Y'all should be fine. We'll those two kids are gonna have to, to share the load in the opening game share anything quarterback about to make thirty million a year. He should live or you know what against Eli think. We'll be okay. Wow. Unless it's Daniel Jones is possibly Jones. I'll take then Joel Jones may never be quarterback, Geno. That's how bad of yuck quarterback. I'm a you got bring he Brady asked. He is Brady. No, he's not. And he'll shred that giant. No. We got this. Early suspension Zeki this at. Let's just hope this was a wakeup call. He's still sleeping. We say a wakeup call. This is a wakeup call. No, this is the wake-up about five or six I have never fought back when you've said, you're gonna have to sleep with the cell phone as long as his kid is playing for your team because he is that's what's going to happen because he's not going to learn. You just got to put up with this, and I'm sorry for moms eat because I love mom. I know. She's just like Oh. like. I do. I know I got. Anymore. Jeers got a cell phone. I got a picture. I wake up tonight and look at my picture and go he should be earnest as picture. What do you do? She gets it. She knows here. All right. You just can't fight him on. Black November the Steelers lost a game in Denver when Ben Rothlisberger through this interception at the goal line with a minute left in the game afterwards. Ben said that in Tokyo Brown ran a bad route on the play. We'll yesterday. Ben apologize saying, what I genuinely feel bad about that. And I'm sorry. Did they go too far after that Denver game?.

"Months in the league, that's months years. I mean this up, but it seems like this offseason spent even crazier but Josh Rosen. Stay class. Yeah. That was that was absolutely a great move from him. We're. Into the seventh round a little over a third of the way through it. We've got twenty six picks to go here in this in fsr draft a couple of notable picks here. Again, Terry Becker first pick of the seventh round. This was a five star kid coming out of high school wintom zuri a highly. The it was actually the most highly rated player Missouri ever got. He went to Tampa Bay in the seventh round, Mike Weber. Tailback Ohio State goes to Dallas, my personal favorite pick is Colin Gillespie fullback, Texas, am if you know that if the tradition of the all of this. I'm looking at the TV I've seen the same thing Mel kiper sharing pumpkin pie with Todd mcshay. They are friends forever. Because if Mel is sharing his pumpkin pie with anybody. You know, you are good. But Colin Gillespie twelfth man, Texas AM. The twelfth man tradition at eight AM. He was a walk on earned a scholarship became the twelfth, man. He's a fan favourite. He's on every single kickoff return team makes tackles, long blond hair. It's going crazy. Everybody loves the guy. He just went in the seventh round to the Houston, Texas. He's from Katy Texas just outside of Houston. So again, another good story you like Mike Weber out of Ohio State going to the Dallas Cowboys. I do Dr you know, he was a guy that has split some time which AK Dobbins out of state. But I thought he was a really productive player with when he had his opportunities. He's a really really good back with the ball hands. I think has to work a little bit on receiving skills. Surly his past protection has room to improve. But he's going to go to the Dallas Cowboys. He's very familiar with his teammate there. Zeke Elliott another Ohio State running back to get him in the seventh round. Bigs. They had a big need their Weber took a visit to the Cowboys in the pre-draft process. I thought that was a place that would be natural fit. And if he had an opportunity to play more at Ohio State, I think Webber's production what had been significantly higher. I think in the seventh round. It's a steal for Dallas to Mike Weber off to Dallas again, the go Buckeye running back again, they did that with Ezekiel Elliott as well reminder..

"That's a huge win. Every sport the GM, the president their successes tides and not their ability that the stars to get the company pieces, and what to keys point one less team has done in a post Fisher from a roster perspective has been nothing short of brilliant. You know, it's I mean think about it. He he had three guys who are surefire. Okay. Bam. Bam. Bam. These are no brainers. Right. And even though you can still go back and forth with chair golfie too. He was when everybody's board somewhere in the top ten. Yes, they did just fine. But everything else it just feels as if I'm not saying he outsmarted people. But he knew what to do he made the right moves. And that's part of the reason why Jeff final self cut in the doldrums with so many seizes because he couldn't get past that part. He couldn't figure out how to find Kupa Cup in the third round. And when he found him he didn't know how to use them. So you got a guy who knows how to use these picks, and he's not free to get these picks. And that's why success is going to be temporary key. I think it's going to be long time. No, I think I think they're in. I think they are set up for a nice run here for the next several years. There's no question about it. They got a lot of talent lot of young talent. That have a lot of, you know, not a lot of miles on their tires at all. And they can still go with the best of them. And they just was in the Super Bowl in their their set up to get back to a deep playoff run again this year. So they I'm fine with a moving out of wood. He thought they should have moved out. What about what else he was saying the idea of drafting a running back? Have around. They have the best running back in football. At least if we get the full version of Todd Gurley. But I mean, we we've seen the video we've seen what he said we've seen how the team has been pretty cagey about how they've characterized his health. Really nobody has come out and said guys he's one hundred percent. He's going to be ready to go. Do you take one in the third round key? Or do you take a couple later and hope to find something think you I think you could possibly Graham one third one and a fifth. I mean, something like that you know, they they still running backs on. Well, no, they only have one guy John Kelly and Justin Davis. They both of those guys are still in Ross. Yeah. But just Dave is Han John Kelly. So I think you take two one in the third and maybe like they resigned to he's third in the fifth. You can get a guy that around. I mean, there's a lot of still quality running backs us on the board. You got Mike Weber who still on the board from Ohio State who I like a lot. You got this kid? Guy. What's his name from central me? See if not central Florida with FAU binney beanie banana penny. This do here mesh. See this is this is the worst part because that's actually funny now it's gonna courage him. No. It's not as deaf. Devon single Terry from any Florida Atlantic. He's a two hundred pound thumper runs about a four six, you know, he can go, you know, he's a smaller back on shorter lower center, gravity type guy. I like him a lot like hidden from Michigan a lot. I think he carries a low. So when you talk about backing up somebody, you know, there's no backs like Todd Gurley in terms of size. Speed in his draft at you like is all a lot of guys Squatty little Squatty guy. I don't think it'd be really how big Todd Gurley est. Big big, dude. All right game. Six tonight at Staples Center. Can the clips force a game seven is because Katie got a foot out the door. That's next twenty seven years ago growing pains. While you're as key. Elected, watch growing pain..

"Right. Right. All right. So before I let you go. You got a lot of stuff going on. I'm gonna run over to practice. The Sixers came in heavy favorites in the series ESPN's model had the nets winning this just one and four times and five thirty eight gave the nuts. Just a six percent chance to win the series. My question is what's your confidence level in the Sixers? Still winning the series. And did you feel any better that the Sixers worn alone and getting upset Toronto lost at home to Orlando and Denver lost at home to the San Antonio Spurs. So three road dogs one on opening night of the NBA playoffs, which is super rare. And like part of me last night as I'm watching the Denver game goes. All right. So the Sixers got some company here. Well, it makes you feel better until like I think Toronto Denver frauds anyway. So so that it makes it makes me feel good. But all right. I still think I'm pretty confident they win the series. But I thought they would win the series and five games. If it takes them seven games to win the series. I don't know. I remember that Celtics team a few years back that ended up winning the title or even the Celtics team that got to the finals that beat Sixers in what twenty eleven or twenty twelve had to go seven with a bad Sixers team to get to the finals. I think sometimes these series can be good and can galvanize a team. But I don't know if that be the case, I'm still pretty confident that when. The series, but John one and four I mean, the Sixers have won the lottery with less than a one in four chance. So wonderful chances of pretty good chance of winning six percent not-so-good. I would bet on the Sixers winning this if I bet. Yeah. I would like to believe that they would get back into the series that first game though, like change everything about how I look at these two teams. I mean, I I thought that they'd have problems with those guards. But I didn't think they'd have that much of a problem. And then again the bench. I thought was going to be an issue, and it was a bigger issue than anticipated. And then on top of that the first five guys weren't good. And like that was about as bad as it could possibly be. But we'll see if they can get it together for game two on Monday night before I let you go. Is there anyone you want to unbanned from the ringer on this podcast before you leave? All right, John. I'm glad you gave me this chance. So as you know, that we have a list of people who are banned on the rights to Ricky Sanchez podcast. It's any of them ringer personnel. Well, we've recently unbanned Kevin O'Connor, which was great. I was happy about that. And the. A banned list is named after screenwriter Mike Weber who has never won an Oscar, but he has harassed the Commissioner of the NBA so love, Mike. So we decided not to ban Dan, Devine, even that we thought about it. Now, you might cut this out. But here's what I would say about your boss, Bill Simmons. Don't get me. Fire. Not. I'm not okay. So you're talking to somebody who has a book of basketball framed poster in his office to autographed copies of his book, and he and the past has been banned. Now, we unbanned him several months ago when he said the name of our podcast and my name on his podcast. But that was like a provisional unbanning, right? Correct. A probationary measure so he is he is on probation until may fourteenth may fourteenth night of the lottery. And the only way that he stays on banned is if he invites Mike, and I on his podcast or okay, where he comes on our podcast and allows us to relitigate Sam hinkie in the process with him. Because. He was unfair. Otherwise on may fourteenth. He will be banned. Again, he'll be re band. What it's tough stuff. He's had a really good run life and career. But I think that this is a massive blow to him. And I wish him while. I hope he gets unbanned always say the name. It's the rights to Ricky Sanchez podcast. It's the one and only in the best Sixers podcast on the planet along with Mike Levin. He is spike Eskin, buddy. We gotta do this more. Yeah..

"So coming up, we're going to talk to sports agent attorney, Jeff Shoko buddy of mine, and we're gonna talk Dwayne Haskins in should he stay or should he go? I mean, I think it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that Dwayne Haskins is going to the NFL. However, he has not announced that he is going as of yet remember that tweet from a couple of weeks ago. And I believe it was to to Weber to Mike Weber something about staying. I don't remember the exact tweet. But remember that? So I I don't know how surprised people would be I would be really shot if he doesn't go. But right now, they're predicting what first round, of course in sixth or seventh overall. Maybe I don't know some of these some of these projections have him at. Yes, sixth right now is the one that seems to be the the the main part of this run around six now if he stays if we we'll talk to Jeff by the way, the my sports agent. Attorney buddy. If he stays what kind of money could he pick up if let's say the buckeyes do really well last year, and he ends up moving up in the not the draft or. Yeah. Yeah. In the draft if he ends up moving up what kind of money could he actually pick up? I guess is the big question there or could it obviously, go the other way? And then he ends up giving up a bunch of money. And those figures are something that Jeff is obviously going to know about. So this is also another phenomenon that's going on. Yeah. And I've been off obviously for over a week, but bird box is really taken off it Sandra Bullock's flick on net flicks. And one I thought was interesting about this. They're saying about forty five million people have watched this at this point now in order to qualify as watched it has to be over seventy percent of the actual movie has to play continuously. So not that that's. You know, I don't know that that's cheating. But and I don't know you go to the theater and you pay for a ticket. If you stay one minute. If you stay thirty seconds health. You don't even go into veteran. You bought a ticket? That counts as somebody who saw it that's going to count for the money, but people are streaming bird box. And they're watching it. And you know, if you watch seventy percent of it, it counts as they streamed it, so that's part of that figure. The forty five million people who've watched this they didn't do any run up for this. They didn't do any advertising. They didn't do anything in. It's kind of odd for me. Is this a direction movies are going? 'cause I this is I haven't seen it. And obviously, there are forty five million people or so that have Josh is another one who you've actually not seen it. And you said, you don't even know the premise of the movie is you you're wearing a blindfold. And if you see if you this the mysterious whatever it is the the. I don't know if it's a creature a whatever it is. You're not supposed to look at something. Because if you see it, then apparently you die. Now, whether you die by the hands of the critter or the force overwhelmed. I don't understand. I just know. It sounds much like a movie called a quiet place which was directed. And stars. John Kaczynski would play Jim Halpern from the office. Right. That was a fantastic flick. I did not see that. But I want to see a need to see that movie. He's beginning work on a second one. Now, I read as well, did you know that a sequel to a quiet place part two or on perfect? Does that movie is? I mean, do that movie gives me chills. I guess, and it's also maybe the maybe the most heart wrenching opening sequence. I've seen in a movie in a long long time like this. Oh, how did we come back from that? Who is that? Oh, that's quiet, quiet place. So you need so you're you don't wanna see bird box. Then or you know, I do want to. Gotta watch. It matter of fact, I'm gonna watch it tonight. I'm gonna make it a point to watch it tonight. Okay. You should try to watch it. We should be able to. I want to be able to talk about it with you. Obviously, we're not talking about on the air because we don't want to do spoilers for anybody who's going to war with you. We're going to be those guys. I don't care about the listener. Now, I'm just kidding. No, absolutely. I want to see that. But it sounds kinda somewhat similar except instead of you can't make a noise apparently. Now, you just can't look I I don't know. I'm I'm fascinated to watch this because people are it's all it is it's going Twitter. Everything's hash box box hashtag and they're doing the bird box challenge. Now, where people are blindfolding themselves and doing all these crazy things, and they're begging please don't one guy has video. I didn't watch the video because we are coming on the air one guy. It look behind the wheel, and he actually has video of it. So I I don't know, man. It's.

"So whether it's ten or eleven hasn't really make much of a difference. I'm perfectly fine with the extra point here. Henry picks it up and through the uprights miles. Gaskin has eleventh rushing touchdown of the season. And also has a touchdown pass. He's got twenty three carries for one hundred nineteen yards and a touchdown in this game. It's twenty eight seventeen Ohio State with six forty two to play on the fourth quarter three straight three and outs for Washington. You'd think to have any chance of winning the game. They're going to have to get another one here. Yeah. But you don't have to be thinking onside kick just yet. If be interesting to see whether or not Ohio State puts their hands team on to guard against the onside kick butt. I if I'm Washington still kicking it d- my defense over the last few series has played really well. Seemed to have figured out what Ohio state's been attacking us with. And I'd like to play the field position game by kicking it deep and maybe surprising. Absolutely, Greg and listen the pressures now on Ohio State. The momentum is shifted Ohio State better start moving the football. Because the last three series have been a real problem. Washington is taken advantage of it. So I I would force Ohio State start producing which they have not done in a little over half a quarter and tomorrow, but call the demand for Ohio State is standing of the twelve yard line. Here's the kick left to right. And they will kick it. Deep angle to the far side McCall under it. And it's fair caught at the three yard line. So that'll put the ball in the twenty-five Ohio State with six forty two to go on eleven point. Buck is Lee. Yeah. If you're Ohio State, I gotta put. Mike Weber in the ball game. He's been my most productive back. So far today. I want to lean on him. At least on first down. He's six yards shy of registering. A hundred on the game. I wanna lean on him and see if I can't start to work this a little bit shocking formation for Haskell. He's gonna throw it a swim passed on the right caught by Dobbs at the twenty five thirty and gets the first down at the thirty five all the way to the thirty nine yard line of fourteen yard pass play. Stop the clock. Reset the chains was six and a half to go here in the fourth. It is twenty eight to seventeen Ohio State still going up tempo district. Get that offense back in a rhythm. Out of the pistol now Haskins and the offense going back off for a second year. Now, they snap it and run Dobbins off the right side of the forty and hog tied at the forty two yard line. Gained three. Yeah. I know.

He said like he felt that they were decisive that the executed with a high tempo that when they had a quick change. And they had to make a decision on a third or fourth in short the executed. So he likes the temple the offense. He told me if we run the football, and we are able to keep those runs that look like they're five yard Ron's and make them eight yard runs, and we don't turn over the ball. We're in good shape. All right. Ohio State first and ten on its twenty yard line leading Twenty-one three JK Dobbins in the back with Haskins Haskins of the first half seventeen to twenty four hundred sixty three yards three touchdowns. He was sacked wants Dobbins only carried the ball three times, Mike Weber Twala attempts eighty six yards and they're going to run Haskins to the right on a roll up looking down throws to the nearside caught. For a first down at the forty yard line by Paris Campbell. That's a gain of twenty yards on a play on the play there and a first down for the buckeyes just a really nice way to get your quarterback into the plan in the second half. Just nice easy. Roll out gets to his second progression, easy completion. And now the buckeyes just run Dobbins up the middle. He gets.

It's correctly placed right now on the left hash working right to left on your radio. Dial up to three yard line. And that's the only area the field really of the Plainfield any way where there's any sun. Almost the entire field in the shade here with four twenty six to go in the first half, Ohio State, fourteen Washington. Three Dwayne Haskins two touchdown passes giving forty nine on the season. I intend for the buckeyes on their three Haskins in the pistol is lined up by two yards. Deep in the end zone. And the running back. Mike Weber is lined up to yards behind Haskins receivers, right and left. Guys, go with two tight ends. Dr Webber up the middle of the five spins away from it offender crosses the ten. Goes to a first down at the fourteen, but that's just to kill it for Washington, Greg. It really is. Because you're playing on defense. You get the ball coming out of halftime in the third quarter. You give up a big one on the ground and insights zone to an area where you're really formidable in the front. And yet awhile state gases you for a game at ten. But you do want to think about that clock here at about another minute, minute and a half ninety seconds from now. That's when that clock starts to become a factor. They start to consider whether or not you want to go into a high octane two-minute offense receivers and the pistol Haskins. Takes the snap. "Overmatched when compared to the talent level the Georgia has all over the field. So I know Georgia's a heavy favourite in this game, Tom which has helped Texas in the past. But it might be too much to overcome a New Orleans. It's very clear that Georgia is the better team coming into this match. But bowl games are also about mindset, do you want to be there? Have you been listening to all the clutter about how you should have been in the college football playoff despite having multiple losses. And you're a better team than this team in that team that can affect teams psychology in terms of their prep. I think Georgia will come out and play. Well, but I think Texas knows that they belong there. They wanna be there. It's a big game. Again, they haven't been in years past but Georgia is the superior team. "Tom Logan Bill. No score eleven forty forty nine to go in the first quarter. They stand out to you here. The first two series freaks team. Just the start by Washington's defense probably more than anything else. I mean, Ohio State went backwards on three consecutive place. And that's not something you're used to see if there's been an achilles heel to this Ohio State team. It's been on the defensive side of the football not on the opposite side. But clearly Washington flying around a good understanding of what Ohio State was going to try to attack them with early Tom and had a good feel for it there on the first three of the game in the interior group. Is you mentioned during the first series for Washington on defense led by Greg gains? Who's literally built like a beer keg. If you can run it between the tackles against Washington, good luck because that's the strength. So there's gonna be some cat-and-mouse here. I think with Ohio State Washington on defense as we get through the first couple of series, you need describe what a beer keg looks like for those listeners that have never seen one short and round. Person to give you the description I down for Ohio State on its twenty three yard line with two receivers left. Shotgun snap asking stands in a pocket. Looks left. Short left. Throw bought at the twenty Campbell. Brooke and tackle Ron Spar side, the twenty-five and steps out of bounds. They're pushed up on miles Bryant. So it's a short game pickup to bring up second down eight. That's a guy to get volved early in the ball game. Paris Campbell the best option with the ball in his hands for Ohio state's offense buckeyes, again, go up temple run the ball. Straight ahead freeze passed the thirty and up to the thirty five is Mike Weber who rushed for eight hundred fifty yards this season. He gets the first down to the thirty five took a bit of a back seat last year to JK Dobbins, but Weber has really been little more consistent option this year. It has final game. Here's a Buckeye shotgun. Snap Haskins in the pocket. Steps up. Rolls left being chased by gains and lost the ball. But he's out of bounds on the far side at the thirty seven yard line. So. That is a pickup of maybe a yard or two eleven twelve to go on the I know scores second and long coming up, Greg. That's where Dwayne Haskins is just Niki athletic enough to get you out of trouble. He's able to just bend the pocket a little bit. But then not make a risky choice ended up gaining too instead of Louis yardage three receivers, right? Second nine on the Buckeye thirty six a shotgun. Snap at around play straight ahead. Another huge running line up to two forty five. The forty nine is Mike Weber. Thirteen more yards on the ground as the buckeyes continue to go up tempo. Went with an overload to the right. And then they pulled a guard around from left to right as Weber crease that little inside power for a nice game. Pretty receivers. Right. I on at midfield. Shotgun snap to Haskins. They run it. Again. Straight ahead inside a forty five down to the forty yard line. Another first down run by Mike Weber gain of ten and they found something between the teeth that defense for the huskies. And it's interesting to a lot of it is with polls. I mean, you're not. It used to seeing Ohio State operating so much on misdirection. Usually they say we're going to impose our will. We're going to go right downhill against a stout group. Like, Washington has operated a little bit more with some counters and some powers with guys blocking down and then off it's the blind. Pulling around two receivers right one first down at the forty yard line of Washington Haskins into gun takes the shotgun. Snap short set the middle. Fires. And it's incomplete at the fifteen yard line. Unable to come up with. It was the tight end. Luke feral is certainly a catchable ball. Not a perfect pass. But Farrell should have come up with that one. It was a low to the ball was thrown just a half second too late. I'm not sure at Haskins was affected by the sun. As he looks in that direction, it is setting on that side, but he was a half second late to Farrell who had a big opportunity for a play down the middle. Second at the Washington. Forty yard line Haskins under center changing the play with twins left twins right now drops back into begun. Snap to Haskins. And it's a quick throw to the left side off the Mark incomplete intended for K J hill so consecutive Eric passes by Haskins it'll bring up third and ten other Washington forty no score ten fifteen to go first board. Greg something happened there with the mesh point off of the the RPO. Walk one Haskins pulled that politics did not come out of his clean errant forcing third long third and ten at the forty of Washington three receivers right to left Haskins. Nancy set waiting for the shotgun. Snap out of a call of the backfield with him. They're going to run the ball. The call off the left side of in thirty five cuts. Right powers has way close to the line to game. He stopped at the thirty two by mold and he will be short by about a yard. Let's see if Ohio State goes forward on fourth down, it appears that they will. That's why they ran the ball on third down. It's a little breezy today. There is a wind advisory in effect. So the kicking game it's not gonna be taken away completely. But from distance where they are right here on the thirty one yard line unlikely to try along one four thirty one Haskins in shock and takes the snap side Weber. Got the first out of the twenty five twenty. Thirteen yard line. So it's an eighteen yard run on fourth and one for Mike Weber. Really nice play right there. They got a little motion working from right to left which forced those linebackers for Washington to slide a little bit to their left, and there was Weber going north and south just behind the left side of the offensive line per a big gain around the left dead. I down to the Washington twelve two receivers near side. One farside like weather in the backfield with Haskins who's in the shotgun. Snap to Haskins. And he throws it left side down at the ten yard line complete tavist Bartlett jumped up entity air and was able to get a pawn that ball and knock it to the ground. He thought it was going to be a little RPO. And as soon as. Taskent's pulled that ball out to throw it. There was no one underneath the flat. But Bartlett goes vertical. Recognizes it knocks down the attendance last segment ten of the twelve Haskins back to throw again in the end zone. Touchdown. Dwayne Haskins with his forty eight touchdown pass it a season Paris Campbell the Buckeye strike. I would nine four to go in the first quarter, delete six. There was a really nice design off play action Haskins started with this is to the left which had a huge impact on the safety. Joe Joe McIntosh? He screamed way over to the left leaving the open the middle of the field open where he found the receiver for the touchdown. The extra point is up. And it's good. And so it's seven nothing. Ohio State with ninety four to go in the first. This is the Rose.

Right powers his way close to the line to gain he stopped at the thirty two by mold any will be short by about a yard. Let's see if Ohio State goes forward on fourth down, it appears that they will. That's why they ran the ball on third down. It's a little breezy today. There is a wind advisory in effect. So the kicking game it's not gonna be taken away completely. But from distance where they are right here on the thirty. Junkyard unlikely to try long with thirty one Haskins. Shotgun takes the snap. Wrong side, Weber got the first down to twenty five twenty dollars. Sideline. Fifteen. Thirteen yard. So it's an eighteen yard run on fourth and one for Mike Weber. Really nice play right there. They got a little motion working from right to left which forced those linebackers for Washington to slide a little bit to their left, and there was Weber going north and south just behind the left side of the offensive line for a big gain around the left dead. I down to the Washington twelve two receivers near side one farside like Weber in the backfield Haskins who's in the shotgun. Snap to Haskins. And he throws it left side down at the ten yard line complete tavist Bartlett jumped up into the air and was able to get a pawn that ball and knock it to the ground. You'd thought it was going to be a little RPO. And as soon as. Haskins pulled that ball out to throw it. There was no one underneath the flat. But Bartlett goes vertical. Recognizes it knocks down the attendance last second and ten of the twelve spins back to throw again looks over the middle of the end zone. Wayne Haskins with his forty touchdown pass of the season. Paris Campbell the Buckeye strike. I would nine zero four to go in the first quarter. They lead six nothing. Really nice design off play action Haskins started with this is to the left which had a huge impact on the safety. Joe mcintosh? He screamed way over to the left leaving the open the middle of the field open where he found the receiver for the touchdown. The extra point is up. And it's good. And so it's seven nothing. Ohio State with ninety four to go in the first. This is the.

With Urban Meyer's return near, Ryan Day has a chance to prove he can lead Ohio State
"Is urban Meyer coaching this game. He's not. I mean, you know, I don't know if he's shadow coaching or something like that, but he won't be on the sidelines. We'll not be on the sidelines Ryan day is the gentleman who is coaching Hieaux state even though or been was allowed to coach during the week. Right? Day's gonna be there on the sidelines. It's fair to ask whether that has any effect here because Gary Patterson on the other side lines of very good coach. I don't think this has much of an effect. I know Ryan day is an urban, but he's probably going to be a head coach soon. He's pretty good in his own. Right. So for my money, is it fair to just throw that aside cast that aside as being any kind of competitive disadvantage for state. Yes, it is a competitive disadvantage snot have their longtime and current head coach on the sidelines because if it's close, if something major happens in a major call needs to be made a reminders more familiar with the protocols in the talents and the in game situations that he's been in before, which Ryan day cannot draw on the same. But but but is it enough of a quote unquote disadvantage that we should really be talking about? I don't. I don't think it is here. I mean, it hasn't manifested itself against Oregon state and Rutgers, but that's to be expected. I think it's competitive disadvantage. It's going to alter the game significantly. But if you're looking at advantages disadvantages right now, Gary Patterson has an advantage over Ryan day. Sure. Okay. So we sort of disagree on that was sort of. I don't worry as much about it doesn't sound like your either, but we both agree to some extent. It's a little bit of a disadvantage fine
