"It was a cover sweet cover yes. It is because cover bus we. Yeah on the other four songs were all ours. Okay now you had played a stint. I think posts sweet savage with your bandmate. Joey see jones That ban was called pal. Joey is my memory serving me correctly. Here okay and then. What did that line up. Look like for pal joey. The guitar player. Which i just recently got back in touch with jane. Hunter fantastic fantastic guy Bass player was kevin marcum. They were both from columbus. ohio Like i said. I just got back in touch with shane. I've been looking for him for quite a while. Because after pal joey went back to sweet savage and i stayed with shane and kevin and we formed bankole mad moxie So i i want up staying at la for another couple years. Joey rebecca savage and they went back to texas but I love the band pal. Joey was At the time. I think is a little bit more of a mature type of music. I wish i had a copy of some of that. But i don't i mean jelly may have some of it but It was a great line up and you know. Joey sang the best he'd ever saying on that stuff and so i really liked it. And how long did you guys stick together with pal joey. Maybe a year we had a we had a deal. I guess criterion publishing which is a subsidiary of warner. I'm hoping i'm saying that right. We were in the studio and at some point. Joey had a falling out with a management. The time and So we had some rough tracks of the abandoned. He went back to savage. And that's the rest of that story and after pal. Joey where did you. Land from a band. Perspective commissioned before mad moxie. Shane and kevin and i stayed together and we Recruited a singer out of another guy from columbus ohio. Gone tommy john. Wonderful wonderful human. Being great great vocalist and we were called mad. Moxie for a while and Stayed with that for a year and a half or so. And then i went up getting an offer from The story circle back around. To michael mullins my original bass player from brittany. He called me up and said that he's found this new guitar player out of san antonio named jonathan grill and he was In listeners may remember this. I don't know but it was mike varney spotlight article caption airy inside of hip. Raider magazine and So mike sent me some tapes of this guy and he's one of the most incredible guitar players i've ever heard in my life still to this day. Interesting and I made the decision at that point. Number one homesick. I wanted to elect a texas. Oh starred avila and of course able to walk into a phenomenal project and that was like rotterdam nineteen ninety. I think okay you despite my memory. I've got a whole closet full of hit parade or magazines up there from the eighties. And and my wife is always like can we throw these away. And i'm like no. We cannot throw these way yet. ibm one of those. I mean it is. It's called mike varney spotlight okay. I can't remember how i going to try to nestling. i'll have to go dig through. It may be see if i can stumble across it now. You currently play in a band called swamp hippies correct right and how long has that project been going on. Well that's another long story in itself. The singer is and walker and After i want leaving winter cat with which the project with jonathan grow. I joined bang. And that's where. I met masten walker and from that moment on we've been in about five or six different projects together and So that's a combination of all the the swamp hippie material in bang bang was it was basically a glam tie ban uptempo rock but masten always played acoustic guitar so we had a couple of acoustic songs and i expressed by interest in those particular songs. Because i thought that thought they were great songs and thought we should do more of them so over period of time you know mask and kept riding kept going and kept going so swampy technically has about forty plus songs and it all started from that point so it's just been just went through different version. Just solid acoustic versions culminated into mind. Body soul was jasey steel and then swiss back to the mass walker a project and which turned into swamp hippie. So it's a it's a long long history of There's a lot of stuff so share with the listeners. Like some of the places that swamp hippies have played it it seems like if my if my old memory serves me correctly there might abana house. A blue show is in my dreaming. That or was was that spot on there. We did house of blues show. We've done acadia we've done. What was the cobras dunkin on the concert. Pub north hub north. We play their played the nineteenth hole. And just forget about which turned out to Fbi bin and i guess it one point the office was was where forget about a would was turned into the office. Which is now something else. Okay so we just you know the local places around town shirt and not really getting outside of the houston area right now. It's no telling say and I know we're coming out of coverted and things are kind of opening up. I don't knock on wood. Is there anything coming up for swamp hippies from show perspective that that you can talk about or you guys actively look into book or you not doing that yet or you just trying to play it by ear. Kind of yeah. Listen what you're thinking. We're looking to put some things together. Now that the the clubs are certain open backup and covert dropping off We'll start hitting it again. Full tilt just we you know with covert i mean it. It a lot of bands. It has a lot of people just couldn't play can work and do anything so now then start open back up. We're definitely going to start getting out Like i said we just played acadia a couple of months ago. We did the nineteenth hole and We're going to start playing more and more Hopefully hopefully a lot more so yeah. I talked to a couple of guys. John evans is a local musician here. Big name and in texas kind of like a rockabilly. I guess and he. He had mentioned that dern. Kobe he did one of these facebook live shows and and couldn't believe the amount of money that he made from doing this. Facebook live thing. And then i had another interview with randy jackson from zebra. He plays every day online. And i'm sure that he he's always got a few hundred people on his show and you know they're setting up the virtual tip jar and they're able to make a. I wouldn't call it make a living. I don't know if it's really subsidizing. What they're making on the road but some do pretty damn well with the the virtual tips. And i think that randy would tell you that he does and certainly john said he he. He could just hear his phone. Ding ding ding ding ding. With all the money that was getting so you know you got a I've always said you got you have to remain relevant. Even in hard times you adapt migrate or die has pretty much what it boils down to. And you know you curl up in the fetal position and you know let the world pasha by or you can find a way to stay relevant. And that's what a lot of these guys have done. And you know kudos to them for thinking outside the box a little bit you know. You mentioned masten walker a little bit and he the singer sawyer. Okay yes and And i guess him and yourself go back years to the nineties with mind body soul right in then. Stacey steel. Who's a friend of mine.

"Entries are protected in transit and our data. At on our database your entries are encrypted at storage. That's what it says. Sounds like dents into embiid's funny they didn't say into and he didn't say means encrypted in transit and at rest but they didn't say that's odd but anyway But yeah i mean that's one of the graces of day one being purchased because everything is end to end you. You're still safe you know. Well i that's good to know that there are other apps out there for this And i agree with you. One of our very for shows after the you know the stephen era began was a whole show on day. One make his we both are big believers in journaling whether it be digital or or with the paper planner. Whatever it is that floats your boat. it's a great way to kind of hold it together if you stop and pay attention to yourself once a day. Yeah i mean as somebody who struggled with a weekly review as the part of getting things done when i was a pure gd practitioner. The weekly review is always a bit of a struggle at journaling. Kinda helps you know. I wouldn't say speed up the process but it allows you to course correct a whole lot faster if you're if you're journaling throughout your your journey and it's been a huge help for me. Yeah i still do a review process of all my projects. But i find the week review is where it's the macro level where step back and see okay. What's the theme here like. Last week wasn't very productive for me. I went and got. I went and got the shingles vaccination. That's an old man problem right. Thought what's the big deal little vaccination. I was down for like a day and a half that thing just like knocked me out so looking back last week i wasn't as productive and there was like a theme to it and you don't see that in project review but you do see that with a with a review process like one of these planners or day one or reflection or whatever you know your your weapon of choices. I've always said that if the calendar offers the directory of your days in the to do list offers the details of your days than the journal tells the story of your life. That's kind of look at it mike. You're so poetic so all right well. Either way i am. I continue to be impressed with the work. You put out in the world. Mike vardi gang. "Support of the mac users mike. You made mention of click up In the last segment which was another web service new to me. I feel like i'm i'm out of the loop now. I have been looking at very services with my team and click up is a team based task management tool. So explain how you found that and what you're doing with it. We used the sauna for a really long time With my company. Because i mean i used asana since at basically for started and what i found is that Some of the development was not moving along as quickly as i would like plus it was getting very Weren't able to do as much with it. As i as i as i hoped and i also think that they were looking beyond the small businesses to more enterprise so a lot of the feature requests or a lot of the things that we were trying to get a sonnet maybe do. They weren't really interested in. They were they were. We were we were. I wouldn't say beneath them. But they weren't their target market anymore and click up. Had been making some noise for a while and i. I looked at it and what i liked about. It is the sheer customization. You could do with it. It kind of came along at the same time as notion to a degree but notion of course being like a personal knowledge management tool that you could you know. Basically retool and configure the way. You're you want click. Up does a lot of that. With task management you can do. Kpi's key performance indicators and okr's and all that stuff they're built in you can have mind mapping in it you can have a kanban style gantt charts like it had everything and the price was right and so what i did was. I actually found somebody. That i knew was a click up expert Yvonne hyman and she She walked me through it because she also was an asana user and said this is why i've gone down the road with click up. I reached out to the folks that click up. They were excited to hear that. I was interested in looking at their platform. Yvonne helped me a lot because she actually created some training materials for my team and when they looked at it they said we should be. There's no doubt we should be using this over asana and we started and it's been really really great. There's a lot of integrations that you can use that. We are only scratching the surface with now the custom fields or fantastic There's just a lot of power and again you can kinda shape it the way that you want it to be for you and your team and there's the book marking tool is great. So you can you know. Have that web linking all the stuff that you really want. And plus. They're they're making inroads with the vc community as well. They're not going anywhere. So i'm pretty happy about the choice to go with them. Because whenever i'm looking for a tool. I wanted to be able to scale with me and my team and i get the support that i'm looking for. And the the folks that click are checking off all those boxes once again. Walk us through what you get when you it's a web service right And so what you get when you turn it on. And what are the features you using. So it's a it's a web based service you can again. I have the ios apps on my ipad on my iphone. And when you first open it up you get your you get your home screen and it shows your your work to do. You can create what's called the lineup at the top. Which is the things that you've decided really should be at the top of your list. You can add those to the top so you can see your top priorities for the day. there are tasks that are called. Trending that you could see on your home page so tasks you've worked on the most so it's really like there's a lot of robust tracking capabilities. There you could see your cat. You can sink your calendar to it if you want. I don't have my calendar sink to it right now but you could see the work that you have to do. Any comments that have been assigned to you Anything you've done and then anything that you've delegated so you could actually say. Hey i wanna. I wanna delegate this and so that way i can keep tabs on. Hey what what have i delegated to people one of the things that you also can do is when instead of just checking off a box. You actually have stages so you can create whatever level of stage or status is rather so you can see whatever level of status you want so if you click on like you know how an omni focus to do is do you check the box and it completes at right. Well in this case you could have whatever levels of status you want. You can have its to do. It's you need approval. Or maybe it's in progress or you're waiting on something externally and then you could market as complete and when it's marked as complete it goes away. You can have sub tasks attachments it. you know. that's that's what you see. In the right hand pane on the left hand pane of course has all of your tasks it has any notifications you've received. You can have dashboards as well so you can create a dashboard to kinda organize your projects. That's not unlike asana as well as ana has those but you can also do things like have template docs and stuff like that so you could see like documents that you've put into the tool as well so if you wanna create some kind of let's say a standard operating procedure or something along those lines. You can have those there and people will be able to see those And then goals. I like this to can actually create goals inside of here so we've done a few of those and one of the goals and you mentioned this off the top. David is like the migration from productivity est to mike varney dot com. We want to have a set of milestones in the goals. And how we wanna accomplish that so we can create those goals. You can break them down until those measurable targets and then you can track your progress in real time. So it's it's a very robust task management tool project management tool and it's great for teams. I i mean in terms of personal use. I don't know that. I would use this personally simply because there's a lot there and it might be overwhelming but when you're dealing with a distributed team i think it's it's gonna give tools like asana and You know other other tools that are in that space. Monday dot com a real run for their money..

Yeah everybody all right. We have for kevin as well with us today. So i was surprised by some of these guitar players over the years that i just did not know actually sang or could sing as well as they actually do. And so we're gonna talk about some guy so these no no no no. We're not about eric clapton right. We already know that we know we're not talking about those. We're not talking about the. We're talking about the guys that you go. Oh i don't know that guy could sing good voice so that. That's that's the focus of what we're getting to know you. You dig so that it's going to be the focus of today's show and as always we like the things started with our resident rock historian and not a resident rock and roll. No it all. I'm the fact checkers. So what do you got little. You want to jump in with a start off with something. Yeah i'm just going to start with nuno bettencourt from extreme. I'm sure you're aware that he does soon. On extreme songs but he also is pretty amazing at seeing his own stuff too so He has recorded solo albums. He founded bands including mourning widows population one drama gods and the satellite party. He did reunite with extreme in two thousand and seven. I saw him play guitar at the generation act. Show that was touring for a few years. He was with several amazing guitars. Invasive by Toes in abbassi Zack wild sarah think and he actually opened up that show. actually now. he came in. He was on second for that show and he sang his own or he saying the extreme songs and he sounds amazing as well as his fancy guitar playing that he does so. Yeah oh also. He is featured on the soundtrack for the movie smart people. I don't know if you guys seen it filmed in pittsburgh gun. And he is credited on the cover of the soundtrack as well. And it does. Sandra also features dairy sharon so wonder how those to hunt how you got. Gary shrunk to be on on the soundtrack with them crazy. I don't get it. Es great movie great singer. If you didn't know he's a great singer as well as guitarist nuno very good very good. Pick those of you who are on my mailing list. If you're not good lombardi music dot get on my mailing list. Share all kind of interesting things with you guys. But i wanna talk about a guy from Well he's actually kind of from the pittsburgh area. Paul gilbert no relation to melissa gilbert now or revenge of the nerds or your gilbert or gilbert and sullivan no religion or gilbert godfrey right and we've had an all brandon. Gilbert is an american hard rock and heavy metal guitarist is best known for being the co founder of the band. Appearances on other musicians albums has been voted fourth best On guitar ones magazine. Top ten greatest guitar shredders of all time. He's also ranked in guitar. Tau zero dow zero and has been featured in guitar player magazine along Fellow up and comer ying v wall. Boom boom we angry. Young remount steam the swedish meatball around eighty one gilbert. I contacted mike. Varney of shrapnel records. Now this is something that a little bit of background. Sh- mar mike. Varney was an a columnist or an editor for guitar player magazine. And he founded shrapnel records because they would get guitar players like didn't know where to send their music like. I'm a great guitar player. And i want people to hear it so i don't know guitar player magazine. So we get these tapes. Guitar player. Like paul gilbert. And there's an if you go through and you look at the history shrapnel records you're gonna find. There's a lot of young guitarist that did that. And mike discover them but so he said i'm gonna found a record label for the for an outlet for these guys. So this is how. I'll gilbert got noticed. Initially so he he asked mike. If you could get a gig with ozzie ozzie. like i can't get you ozzy's bad but they continue talking. And then gilbert went to tend to guitar of technology even at the age of seventeen quickly became a look. Legend legends advance extremely fast alternate picking technique as young as a massive repertoire of cover material. I was hired. Gi in structure structure in eighty five record. Racer x debut. Album street lethal soon after. So this young young guy from pittsburgh right goes on events. I'm not going to give his whole life story. But racer x was a big thing on shrapnel and paul did a star licks video to show you some of his techniques very interesting stuff very cool. If you're a guitarist at that time that's no youtube star licks videos.

"Macalpine and cacophony to as well go to cacophony jason. Becker and marty friedman together. It was unbelievable. I mean those records their dogs. I tear open up and play the way. I wanted to play. But when when i started playing with marty i mean he was just like do whatever you want man. Yeah that sounds cool. Since it was incredible. I mike barney gave me the opportunity to explore playing. And just just rip it up. So i have to give a lot of credit to mike. Varney and jason and marnie does they really. They got me into that really. Really crazy frigging drumming. Sounds fun from from my listeners. Out there who loved shredding aspect of guitar playing there really isn't is an album from one side to the other d- that shreds cacophony. I mean it's just you with your drumming and guitar. It is it's like a it's like a music orgasm. Do it was so much fun too. I love working with both those guys. Jason was hilarious. Marty you know it was more the the the the guy you know what i mean so working within was just a joy man i i loved it. You know just that. Yeah and i've always said to. You know when. I first heard the bad english record which came after those albums. Yeah i remember hearing the drums. Like damn who's this drummer like like completely define the sound especially in the song. Forget me not which you just absolutely kick ass on that song. And i remember. I remember reading the liner notes at my own name. Sounds so familiar. Where did i see that name. And then that's when. I'm gonna wait wait. He wasn't wild dogs and then of course the the twenty mcalpine record that they knew about. And you know we just mentioned but man the drum in that bad english debut album is just fantastic you. That was a really special time for me. I was twenty three when i joined. Excuse me and it was just a blast. I just i remember doing the record. And i think with the exception of two songs all of the songs on that record drum wiser one. Take 'cause i was just so freaking excited and i wanted to be perfect. You know. I just dug in and adding different. That was the greatest time of my career. Honestly we get big break. That was pretty amazing. You really developed a relationship with neal schon and of course shot that bantu as well and that obviously returned with journey. How did that relationship start. Did it start there with bad english. And and before that i was i was actually playing with tony macalpine and i was coming down to rehearsals in san rafael. I walk in. And there's a neil Mess around with tony and keeps mark robinson. And they were just drinking ripping and tearing it up. And and i met him and i was three out right. There was a ticking sean. Oh my god. So i sit down drum kit and any starts playing all these risks and i just we just jam it. He's having fun and then he he goes through. The journey stuffing. Yeah all of it. So we started playing jury stuff and He walked out of the room. We got done shook. His hand walked out. And i'm looking at my back going. Oh my god. Did i just played neil sean. This is amazing. Ten minutes later the door open even and i literally looked at my drum tech your maintenance and who career and he took me into his his cool red ferrari testarossa and put the cassette of all these demos of of the old record. He was thinking of doing. Because you like your stuff. Like i was like to play on the record. It's like oh dude. So anyway i go home and three a week goes by and he goes what. I'm scrapping this thing. I'm doing nothing with john. Wayne john kane phillips. And i said i would come down. I if you out and i'll just you know humbled to kick. Yes so i went down and and About a week and got the gig and Yeah ever since then. Neil has been a catalyst to to ninety percent of my career man. I owe him a lot. I owe him atop. We'll super back with some of those things hopefully later in the interview but the big news is last week you announced that you were stepping out of the dead daisies because of some health issues because your back shock to a lot of people What did they i mean. Obviously the health issues probably of something. That's been going on for a while. But wh- what final nail in the coffin with them. Well we you know we hadn't been and you know for me. It was like this probably the best time to get the surgery and then of course tobin screwed all of that up. I had this other surgery scheduled and they can't pull it because the lockdown oregon so i started looking elsewhere. Doctor las vegas. I had that book and that you can't do this right now. We've got too much stuff to do. You have to hold off. You know 'cause you're not gonna have enough time to heal before we start banging away and start rehearsing so the canceled that one and It was just a really. It was hard for me to lead. Dude i i love david lowy. Add doug glen. I love them. They're they're like family to me and i. It's such a great time working with them. But for me at this point it was like i felt like i was holding the band back like i. Can't you know do surgery right now. It and they've got a lot of work to do. And i'm in uttar freaking pain so like you know what i just. I just need to step back i. It's time for me. Just step back. I wanna hold you guys back. So they have a lot of stuff. That band is constantly doing stuff. I mean social media interviews. They were card. And i just felt like it was time for me to go. I didn't want to hold them back. You know so here. i am right now. Still trying to get the surgery scheduled because it's been a nightmare a nightmare. So you know here. I am today i again. I love those guys. I love the fans man. They were loyal. So freaking loyal. And i'm gonna miss them all. I really am. I think it was best for me to step aside and let them continue without me holding back. How does that. How does this back injury effector plane. I think maybe people need to understand that not to Herniated discs The l. four and the l five which is in the left hand side of the lower back and literally my right leg My toes and half of my kappler.

"Somewhere. Between like aor in hard rock somewhere between there. What do you th- I mean Like I said when I listen to this I, thought. Chris. Would like this. What do you know about this? Why don't you like it? Why I mean I'm a fan of a are and I'M A. Fan Of shredders because you've got the, you've got the Richie cots and then you've also got Mike Varney playing. Certain Guitar Parts on this from you already founded shrapnel records. And that was the the the Richie Katsina Mike Varney connection was how I had heard of it to start with because I had guitar player Friends of mine that were raving about this record when it came out was ninety nine. So I WANNA came out. Yes. So. It came out there and I remember checking it out at the time and I'm like. I don't hear it. It's just it's it's boring aor it's like boy and. So I wanted so badly, the love this record but When I listened to it back in the day, and this is one of those whereas another one where you brought it up for this episode and I forgotten all about it since it came out and. I listened to it again today and I'm like, oh I remember I don't like it because it's just boring. It doesn't utilize Ritchie's or even like Mike's known as a guitar kind of matchmaker but Mike Good Guitar player on his own. But like even neither of them get their skills used to their fullest on this, it's just very boring aor rocket. It may have been hit in the early nineties late eighties, but in ninety nine had no chance at all. Yeah, it's really not that great for me on the work. I'll rated four uncomfortable situations out of five. It's a weird album covered. Scott. Like a little baby sitting in a little rocking chair and it's watching TV. But there's a pistol coming out of the TV point right at the baby and I don't care who you are. Nobody's comfortable looking at a pistol being pointed at a baby it's a it's just a it's a dull record that just it did not hit on any fronts at all when half when it came out. But when you look at an album cover like that, you expect some kind of like really heavy metal. Yeah you really think so you got a pistol pointed baby makes you feel uncomfortable and so you think okay well, I gotta get myself in the right mindset for this album because this is going to be some heavy heavy show and he put on it's like not being well, love her I. To get player friend of mine who was raving about it. I'll still remember what I said that because he was like he loaned me the CD he's like you gotta listen to it like Paul Gilbert's amazing on and Mike. Varney even sounds good on it and I listened to it. I said said. This makes toto sound like fucking slayer. Yeah with this, you know, I guess, then the question is, is it on Ebay while if you want it, it's there for ten to twenty bucks. Are they still around. I think they're semi retired. They might still be i. mean they're musician. So I'm sure they're still doing stuff I mean. I think as long done. This was an experiment that went wrong. One thing I seen was that that Jesse Bradman is got something to do with a thing called kick port. That's some kind of you know to kick port is on like Bass Drum. Well. This one is something special to do with that and I noticed that Kevin Williams from except he endorses this kick port thing. So. If you're a drummer now might be something worth looking into. Yeah I did not like this record at all. Well, if you do know who Jesse's power trip is and you do like them, I'm betting you probably like. Better Bon, Jovi, some of the wimpy your whitesnake stuff but I like that stuff but it's done well on those albums. And why is it in the cuddle been well like Chris said In nineteen ninety nine. I have a feeling, our Fred bj Kahuta likes US record but I don't Oh you know bj just loves this. Is. That is one of the most unsung albums ever only sunny pony to, and he's just like 'cause, Richie Kat sins on it. He's not only making rock and roll. He's making hamburgers to well I was a fucking the devotee of like, Richie costs and Mike Varney in those days because I bought all the shrapnel stuff I bought all cacophony Jason Becker all that stuff. And even I as a diva t listen to this and it was like now this is not good. For Me Tiger songs on the IPOD. Generously. I. Gave it three out of ten I don't know how long they're gonNA last on there. It's just not my thing I mean, there is great musicianship on here. Jesse Admin is a hell of a singer. And I think maybe some of these songs might grow on me if I gave him more of a chance. It's there's talent there but it's it's a definite stab at trying to get radio play when he was far too late when you really miss the boat. All right. Well, they can't all be million dollar winners. But. This one's pretty damn close. The next band I got is called the power trio from hell have you ever heard of them? Not. Will. This is now album called American man it came out in nineteen ninety-three. How did I get this one? Well, I was doing one of those sales were. It's like get as many CD's you can get for a buck and out digging through and I found this one and I'm like. Ninety nine cents. Flip it over look on the back produced by any Kramer, and that's all I had to hear. This is actually a pretty freaking awesome album. I really like this one a lot. It features Brian Stewart Fox on vocals and Bass Johnny Blaze Zach in necas on guitar and Kevin Mora on drums. Yes. Living true to the name. They are the power trio from Hell. These are three bad ass. Rock musicians for something. I've never heard of before this pretty much. Blew me away. If I was going to compare it to anything, I would call this and I hate doing this but I'm GonNa call this a blend. three-quarters, Wyan. T with a quarter of megadeath makes tin. Y- I have thoughts on this one. We'll tell me what you think. Well produced by Kramer, which is cool because honestly all everything sounds good yet dog. When I listen to this at first blush. It's It's unfocused and that's that's the I. think that's what prevented this from actually going anywhere because. He's got one song that sounds like almost like something Bob SEGER would do and then go to the last of the records. Instrumental about something about thrashed all. I know you're talking about your time while thrash epic. Yeah. The name of the subjects not instrumental. It's fucking awesome..

"To functional medicine doctor and I believed this point and Mike Varney was like. Oh, it's something gut got issue. It's got issue. And piecing things together with her, she was asking me all these questions and I was looking at my instagram. Eat to see like. Okay well. Where did this symptoms start? You know I can look back on my and me too I always go to. They documented the whole entire thing I'm like. Thank God for Instagram highlights. That's how I mean that's really. I kept track of things, and I went back, and I looked and I was like Oh. My God wait. I got this weird bug by over here last year in July I remember, and there's a picture of me and I was in pain, and then after that Oh. My God. That's when it starts so that that was where I could kind of piece things together and have that breakthrough, but. In terms of The Prescriptions and getting you know negative side effects, and you know not having good feedback. I spent years on pharmaceuticals between the ages of sixteen and twenty four, and it's my body's very sensitive now to taking. Prescription pills whether they be antibiotic swing to its high anxiety pills. Whatever so I try to stay away from all thought and you know it's really important to for women out there. Just be an advocate for your health. There's something that doesn't that. Right for you or feel mind for you. It's okay to speak that to a doctor and find somebody who will respect what it is that you want for your own wellness journey an order. I love that you said that, and also I was on A. A call with a medical expert the other day who's coming on this series and she was preaching the same thing as a doctor. How you need multiple opinions I had eleven neurologist involved in my case to all over the United States and I fought for that like I thought to get an answer, and then I thought to prove them all wrong. And for those of you listening, you know it's okay to go the second the third the fourth the fifth, because when you have that feeling in your gut. There's no stopping you and that's with business with health. Like you know. That's not the answer, so you felt that you were like no something else. This doesn't add up and I love that you have the time line, and that's the great thing social media, and even if you do need a time line, like have a private instagram and document, because with my my memory is awful from withdrawing from all these meds and Chemo and all this stuff, so all I have is my instagram. The lovely little APP called time. Hop and that reminds me of my whole entire process and I'm like Oh yeah, that's all. Click to never been sleeping those twelve hours in all just kind of like make sense, but you always have to follow your gut. Feel like that's what you did and. Yeah I just think it's so important. Yeah, and I think to just on the topic of following your gut, there will be people in your life who love you and want you healthy, and they may have other you know expectations or ideologies or beliefs about what you should be doing your health and wellness, and if anybody you know friends, family, even doctors are you to do something, but your internal compasses telling you to do something else. It is more than okay to trust that internal compass over what you're receiving. A I think you know were really designed nowadays to just. Just say yes, to whatever doctor tells us and it's. That's not the way that we should be operating. We live in our bodies every single day. You are in your vessel twenty four seven. You know when something deals, right and something goes wrong, and nobody is more of an expert about your body, and what's right for you that you? So I think that's really really important for everybody to remember that even though doctors are helpful and often have great support for us. We have to always remember that we are I advocate for help. And I love that. You said that and I think that something. I, I mean honestly in my opinion. I would think the one thing that would hold somebody back in moving forward with going with their gut. Are The people around them. Yeah their. Family their partner, their friends, saying just the Internet. No, that's the best doctor, but everybody's body is so different. It's not you know they're practicing medicine. As everyone says they're absolutely practicing. Because everybody's body is different. You and I could have the same exact thing the same exact way, but the way that our bodies react are completely different, and that's something else I wanted to talk about with you. Is that you shared this water fast? And when I was scrolling through your instagram stories, you were very strategic and saying you know it's very important to say and I. Say it all the time, not a medical expert. I'm a professional patient, which is the name of the series for a reason you have to do your research and you are sharing your journey how you feel why you're doing it. Somebody else is gonNA. Watch, stories and say oh well. You know it's working for her, and then they end up in the hospital now. You need to do research. You need to organize your own records so I really love that. You always put it. You put that first because that's so important and people just jump on the next train like. I WANNA water faster, I want do juice. I want to do that and then they're wondering why they can't breathe or. They might find out something's wrong with them. And it got triggered because of what they're doing to their own body. So I love that you said that, because not a lot of people do that once they share their story, they're just pushing out all his content. And then they become like an affiliate and their products amazing. You're like no like this is real life like you were showing yourself and bad with the water fast and all of that so. Can you share with us now? The first steps you really took so you? We already know like you did your research when it came time to heal your body, you figured out ways like how do i WanNa do it so? Take us on the journey of the water fast because I'm so interested in this like. This is the number one thing I wanted to ask you about? And I started writing unlike the water fast the cleanse like I have so much, and then also want to ask you this because I might forget, but there is this test, and I forget the name and I'm not sure. If you've taken it, you can only get it from a functional M. D.. It's about like three thirty five hundred dollars, and it tests the toxins, and if you have lime and mold and toxins. That's the only tests that you can get. That shows you that. Yeah the I. Think you're referring to what I had done is called. The genetics tests. Maybe JENEX. It's the only one that you can get at. That's like from functional side. That's the only thing that this is. Why am obsessed with like cleansing healing, because that's the only thing that's going to tell you what's left from popping pills and doing harm to your body, but when you did the research What made you go that route of the water? Shore so Okay, so I. had. I think this is important to mention I had about nine months of severe debilitating symptoms with no explanation to what it was so for nine months I was. thinking, it was one thing and trying. Protocol and not getting a result and thinking was another thing and trying not getting results, and all the while messages are getting worse and worse in the meantime I found a doctor who supported my belief that it was lime disease and she has sent me labradors. She sits. Here's what you can do i. have tests all the tests. You know you need a special doctor. Order it. We're GONNA have a flip bottomless. Come to your house. Because I couldn't. I couldn't leave my home. Clink out of bed also. Who's going on right? Yeah what bottom missile! Come to your house? You blood work, and then you know we'll see what the results say. It'll take two and a half weeks. Now, With Cova going on I couldn't allow anybody into my home because my husband is, he has a condition that can make him really susceptible to the dangerous sides of Kobe and I wanted to protect him, so we Kinda came up.

"Winter Troxel Mike Varney at fox business suggested this week that a Bernie Sanders victory in November will sink the markets and presumably for close to retirement could sink your retirement and we don't know what's exactly what's going to happen with the markets in November regardless of who wins but it does give us pause for concern as we go through an election year special if you're close to retirement within a year two years three years four years right on that doorstep a retirement going through the transition what is it mean to go through major changes in the last couple of years for retirement and specifically how much you're willing to lose how much you're willing to lose so and what I mean by that is you know I'm not really willing to lose anything like we lock our house every night it's not like we leave it up and like well you know if you come in and he still some stuff out a living room because we don't use a living here very often we can just take a couple pieces out of there and we're good now I mean I want to protect everything if I can but as it relates to money I think there's there's this point where you can lose too much that it's a game changer right is a game changer and as you're looking at your retirement you know maybe for your situation you could avoid a ten percent loss right maybe you should maybe you should avoid that ten percent loss because it would impact you but then there are others who could take a ten percent loss and just keep moving forward like it didn't happen right so and I'm sitting here and I'm and I'm listening to the candidates I'm I'm listening to to president trump talk about kind of his policies in in his own kind of in his own way campaigning this year and and we really don't know what's coming next if the wrong person wins right now we all have a different definition of that as it relates to the government and federal employment and what's gonna happen to the market in taxes in the future so here's what I recommend I recommend that we make the assumption that whatever chains comes it could be negative right we make the assumptions almost a conservative way of thinking about retirement is to really do a stress test right do a stress test you know you're you're if you're familiar with a heart stress test run on a treadmill and let's just see what happens let's just see what happens relates your T. S. P. if you lose twenty percent of it right let's just see what happens to your retirement income if taxes go up five or ten percent let's just see what happens because then we would know what you could really afford how you should strategically set up your situation now so that when change happens that your retirement so goes as planned and I think that really gives us pause every time you see a political ad this year I want you to think of what we just talked about because that's what I think of anytime I see a political out of of promises then I think man I don't know what's going to happen next and when you have something really important happening as it relates to your money and there are big changes environmental changes that we really don't have control over then you should plan for them and so as we go through this campaign year you really want to think about well how much are you willing to lose and how much restrict you be taking now in the only way to get there is go through that retirement stress test get a pension projection understand how much you're going to receive from so security and how to maximize it and then consider your T. S. P. for one K. and other assets into the equation and really figure out where you stand where your vulnerabilities how much can you afford to lose in taxes and market losses if big changes come next year instead of your retirement for it insulate yourself from those changes now and make sure that you understand the options for how to invest properly for the retirement the one I have regardless of the changes coming up so that's my that's my advice this afternoon set up a retirement plan before November and the four big changes could be coming down the pike in you know what maybe things will stay the same maybe thinking you know what given what I've seen I think that the president trump's gonna win for sure and maybe you're in that camp you know what it's not gonna last forever matter of fact according to the constitution it cannot last forever there are only two terms so even if president trump wins at some point the wrong person will win and your retirement could potentially be vulnerable maybe the market doesn't go down in December of this year but I'm certain it's going to go down at some point so again we want to make sure that your retirement your federal benefits past the stress test to make sure that no matter what happens.

country so why would barbecues a bar is not going to allow that like sessions they might be right maybe I should recant bars not gonna fall for that crap this is the second time around the block what was his answer go well I was as I previously said the the the the DOJ has the obligation to have an open door to anybody who wishes to provide us information that that they think is relevant but as I did say to senator Graham in and not we have to be very careful in with it with respect to any information coming from the Ukraine there a lot of agendas in the Ukraine there lot of cross currents and we can't take anything we receive from the Ukraine at face value and for that reason we had established a an intake process in the field so that in the information coming in about Ukraine could be carefully scrutinized by the department and it's intelligence community community partners so that we could assess its provenance and its credibility and you know that is true for all information that comes to the department relating to the crane including anything Mister guiliani might provide this is all the president said during the phone call Kelly said with respect to this issue and basically let me explain something this list on the entire Democratic Party press this is exactly what the present was talking about to someone's hero president so once he you might wanna look into some of this and you know work with the Attorney General my god he wants interference in the election who does trump the mention the electric now but that's what he meant well he said what he meant you don't need to say what he meant he meant when he said no you don't understand I'm reading on national radio and other places that this was an abomination not impeachable but an abomination I heard Lamar Alexander say the same thing it must be true what must be true he invited Ukraine to interfere in our election no we didn't he wanted them to work with the Attorney General to get to the bottom of this well then they say that's okay for the justice department to deliver the president should be enough wait a minute this is fascinating to me some of the same people that make the point accurately get the president is the executive branch you won't find the words department of justice in the constitution then of course he has the power doesn't mean in every instance it's the right thing to do but he has the power to do exactly what the president with the president did absolutely and the president didn't do it in a way that they say he did it they keep putting words in that president told the Ukrainians to interfere in our lecture now we did the president said either you announcer investigation a bite or I'm not giving you any money doesn't say that the president brought up military no we didn't so they have to lie they have to spend if the greater narrative and I'm not going to re litigate this I just want you to understand a making the point so now the Attorney General has announced a look I get this information from what he or anybody else we're gonna that it is carefully as we can with to make sure it's kosher it will look at I like the Obama administration which had nothing it's Hey let's put spies in the trump campaign Hey good idea Frank Hey let's slide a FISA court Hey good idea Hey the DNC and Hillary Clinton should pay for up research will call the fades in in like does CA Hey that's good in the media will go with everything we link to them try not president didn't do any of that I'll be right back then I called in on talk radio five sixty KSFO we've got all the news right here.

"Now my calculation is that means seventy one percent when somebody doesn't Mike Varney to twenty nine percent he may even top thirty you never know incumbent shar nationally has shot up to fourteen percent nationally fourteen percent my cat she's unstoppable unstoppable Amy Klobuchar fourteen percent my lord these are prophetic numbers I'm just saying no I posted something about the president last week I think it was the first day I left maybe the day before I left I thought it was very important we need to start thinking and talking positively about the present we really do and some people misunderstood and Marco is cautions us not to not to get too easy here when it comes to these elections have resolved don't take anything for granted I still believe that there is nothing to do what I posted step back and look what's going on in this country today take the media goggles off your eyes we check the media propaganda just for a few minutes clear your cranium clear your brain let your mind go don't come back to me okay you've cleaned out all the dirt and poison of the left in the media same thing don't think about what's going on in this country here's a piece by Gallup new high of ninety percent of Americans satisfied with their personal lives ninety percent of Americans American satisfaction with personalized highest in forty years two one three American said they're very satisfied also a new high these tremendous numbers despite the daily negative hammering on you through television and through the rest of the media most of you are quite satisfied with your life not racism top to bottom not health care must be destroyed in order to put a Soviet style in place and all the rest of it they're always challenges and difficulties life is filled with very difficult challenges it just this in any form of society in any culture but in our society the vast majority people face less challenges than the vast majority people another society who have to crawl on their hands and knees to eat well who can go on the internet ExpressCard in a Russian missile producer there's a guy who opposes cute among other things and they find him with his throat slit and multiple stab wounds to the chest just another suicide what we don't do that in this country so they look to the mood of the country in addition a personal life it's a twenty year high in America's confidence in the economy eighty six percent said in December they were very or fairly happy eighty six percent again a multi decade high two in three Americans are very satisfied with the direction of their personal lives this is a big deal no you wouldn't know this if you watch MSL SD or the constipated news network to read the next line to the watchman compost of the rest of it is the police in your mind with left wing Pablo they must tear down the country if they're not fissures in society real or imagined if they're not imperfections in society few or many what were the last two you can't re jigger the culture it can destroy what is a great something new which isn't really no it's the same iron fisted you know what this is what they do but the fact is most Americans are pretty damn happy with their lives and pretty damn happy with the economy so in steps it marks and then steps these various mutations of Marxism socialism we call ourselves progressive which of course is the opposite of what they are we have this other aspect of the Democrat party how many Democrats running for president they're nomination support the state of Israel how many of them I mean seriously not the propaganda support the state of Israel Bernie Sanders likes to go around no I'm George George George I I am a great believer in the state of it no he doesn't the Bernie Sanders plan his two state solution plan for Israel as a final solution plant what do you think AOC supports and the likes of a top leave or no mark they don't directly support him they will support and what do you think if you hate America you hate Israel if you hate Israel you hate America for many of the same reasons the values the principles I really one of the same the one in the same and yet the Marxists their so called values and principles I really wanted the same with various forts of forms of autocracy like the Palestinian authority or worse or worse I want to get the bill Barr bill Barr said today that they are in fact looking into the Ukrainian information provided to them by Rudy Giuliani and the media today it's like they report this in hushed tones my god that's a harsh tone oh my god have you heard about what bill Maher he said Jack you know he's actually going to look into information provided by Rudy Giuliani well I wouldn't to look at it dismiss it embrace it follow what whatever why Whitney particularly given the corruption that existed there under Obama when they actually manufactured phony evidence and use that under oath in a court when they actually put spot I still can't get over this that the Obama administration put spice in the trump campaign Hollywood things that's fine by the way no problem Hollywood has great media think it's fun media help perpetuate this scandal this phony scandal but here's bill Barr today cut one go but Graham.

"Every year in the NFL. It's a new team as far as goals. Go we have one putting the fucker in mm singer. Welcome to the buccaneers observer. PODCASTS Drought Phillips. I'm Ali Bay is February. Third Twenty twenty the day after the Super Bowl since the start of the twenty twenty five on the year football is now done and over with rep two thousand nine hundred with a bow. Put it in a drawer in hibernate until September been what is it said. Last night I was like thirty weeks or something it crazy amount of weeks before football starts again. This is the worst time of the year. I'd watch we got started getting used to the draft so we could be excited when now the XFL is coming out so maybe we should pick that up. I can't even remember when it starts. I know it's February. Mike Varney started all right so I would think about the game super bowl. Forty niners at the chiefs. I don't remember much of the game redrawn now. I don't know I just it. It just didn't stick out to me. I had some notes but they weren't that expensive. I do feel like the game. Had A very static field to it like all. The ads were very nostalgic objects. They had the World War Two veterans. Come out at the beginning and you know it's the NFL's hundred Super Bowl hundred super bowl hundred. You're you're not one hundred super bowl so I did feel like the theme of the whole thing was just nostalgia which true all the commercials were like flashbacks to the eighties. The there was a lot of nineties. Pop culture references. Yeah the commercial with Bryan Cranston as in the shining it it was like a mountain dew. Commercial alone the game was a little surprised that the score wasn't higher. I was surprised that San Francisco held Kansas City to under twenty points for the vast majority of the game. I cannot believe that they let Kansas City. Come back like that and of course we gotta eat some Crow About Patrick Mahomes Super Bowl your elite. That's the only requirement ally manning got two super bowls delete. So you put Patrick Mahomes in that category. I was thinking talking about what. IRKS me about him why I guess it worked with him. I think it's more of I don't like change. And it really is the shuffling of the new guard which again the homeless shelter thing. I mean it's the end of an era for football. I mean you didn't have any of the elite older quarterbacks in the superbowl all nos matter of fact drew brees was only one that made it to the championship game right so I think I think it's not. I think that's what kind of bothers me about Patrick. Mom and also that he's already been heralded by the media as the next Michael Jordan. which I just think it's ridiculous? Troy Aikman said that in a broadcast one night and I was thinking you are an idiot idiot you know yeah you gotta you gotTa say well but there is something there yeah. We really thought that he was going to be figured figured out and teams were going to be able to stop them. Well rarely even on Youtube has one of our listeners. Said Pat Mahomes is more of a passing quarterback back so he corrected us. They're pretty smart mercer and said he's one of the smartest players he's a little like Russell Wilson L. somewhere. He's pather but well run when he needs to. I think he uses the running war selectively. which is how I prefer right? Yes this is a this is a new era and you know we had two teams in Super Bowl. That had been in a long time. And it's nice to see Andy. Reid finally win one. Yeah I do like him. I like Gandhi. I did think forty niners are going to win too. I bet on I was really disappointed in how they played out the last few minutes couch any. He blew the double digit lead with Elena Buddha offense coordinator there right Yep and win the forty niners got the ball back. I think there was a few minutes left in the fourth quarter. They were up by three. And they dot I I had said You I said well. They're just going to run the clock out. Now as you know the canes city get to ball back with few minutes but you know for now is just gonNa run the clock out. And I'll be darned aren't if they didn't throw the Damn Ball an incomplete pass on second down just ruined it. I was like Oh they just lost the game. That was it so it was a it was a good let game. It wasn't very entertaining like Like you like to see but it wasn't bad it wasn't love Pittsburgh Arizona cardinals game that was one of the best superbowls ever orpheus me. As far as entertainment values concern wasn't a blow out one way or the other the used to the Super Bowl was always a blow out. You know it wasn't until probably two thousand thousands win. The super bowl started becoming really good competitive games. Used to men the Super Bowl sock Diplo is a championship games over the good Games. So it's good to see that you know we've we've got good games that the super bowl but this one was kind of snooze fest thought one thing that drove me crazy. It's driving me crazy for a while. We talked about it here. podcast lot is the officiating. Now the -ficiating this wasn't bad but it wasn't consistent with how they officiate during the regular season. That drives me crazy. I mean his normally like that. But this always just kinda ridiculous. I kinda four times four times where the quarterback got hit in the helmet while he was throwing after he had thrown the pass and it was never fly four four times. They got the Jameis Winston treatment. Maybe it's the young guys they figure they can tak- what is just not consistent. Because if you're going to do that regular season call flags gift fifteen yards opponent. You GotTa do it. But they're not consistent during the season they call it sometimes sometimes not other. That's the biggest problem with officiating. Consistency that that was a that was really the only issue. I had with the -ficiating last night. I think that there are more conservative in these big games. Many people are watching definitely definitely there was a couple of hit outbound where I was like that would have been a flag during regular zoom but a dawn. It's over with Kim city chiefs are champions. AFC got title Geena being a high now. We were just talking about that. The Patriots got it last year for about the year before. I don't remember guys breath. We need the buccaneers. Represent US Komo Bucks stub. Oh Books News. Okay not relay. Hey Joe Bucks. Fan is on a tear. They've gotten a bunch of comments from players about the James Winston situation. That's all they've been asked about as they did. Ask Ask Joe Staley what they thought about what he thought about. Donald Kong Soo and basically just daily look down like you had three heads and said yes you still gotta the same as he was in Detroit South Yeah. It's the people have been saying that that you know he just doesn't have like a used to. I've I've been saying to me I. I watched the guy. He's just a great football player. He's a great strategic good football player in a great technical football ballplayer. He barely masses up. And he's all you know. He's always imposition. He's doing the right stuff. I diverted player Veeraswamy. I agree with Joe Staley but the big nasty. The buccaneers Fan superfan got into the Ford Football Fan Hall of fame. Oh it did make an in. He he did those speaking a witch John Lynch did not make it into the pro football hall of fame. Not only did he not make them in the Hall Hall of fame but he lost the Super Bowl so rough weekend for John Lynch. Yeah John Lynch is not used to having these types of losses. I don't think he's a guy. He's one super balls walls with team different teams and I fully expected him to go with the forty niners. Win there to you. Is that success everywhere. He's gone but it is impressive. How quickly they turned that organization station around so I think that they'll be back? I've got some. NFC South News. Greg Olson was released by the panthers. The bill is a free agent air there. Yeah exactly all these old old guard players. And then Vic Beasley with the Falcons is going to be a free agent. And the the Falcons have announced that they're not going to try to resign him. Interesting must be something there. Stephen Gilmore got defensive player of the year. Sure he knows that he's he plays for the New England Patriots and matter of fact him an John's of both gut let me give them about twenty one votes Jones. Got Fourteen T.. J. Watt got ten Shaq Barrett got to God's ridiculous although redacted. It really really is a really is I'm I'm I'm just befuddled by. How have a most likely? It's the reporters me. I don't know that's a good question. Did you hear the argument that a tape. It's respect because it's small market team oriented stuff small fan base. That's what that's what that means when you hear people say small market team unit because they're small markets like Green Bay which is the smallest market in all professional sports. I think but they're not considered a small market team because they have a huge fan base l. across the nation across the world if we want to change our small small market status we need to get more fans. Let's do that start. Proselytizing ties in US is up to the fan base to do that if he asked me. An people are really attracted to up and coming teams now especially if they're considered underdogs for an up. Four former. Forty niners raiders star. Alex Smith is trying to make an NFL comeback. We had talked about him quite asked him is currently suspended indefinitely by the League for multiple off the field incidences everybody's been trained in a J. Glazer's unbeatable. GM in West. Hollywood in his last game was for the raiders in November. Two Thousand Fifteen j Glazer's come out and said you know he's off to the drink in off drugs. He's really Boston's Bob. Would you expect a guy to say that but J. Glazer's really pushing hard frown on Smith to get back in the league. That crazy hasn't played since two thousand fifteen in five. Haven't years how old is he. Now you know. He's probably in his early thirties. That's a senior citizen for high. Now he could probably get a league minimum job No no I I. I liked him when he was in the League. But he just imploded little help with a from Cabernet but we won't go there the motherboard. NFC South News. "The call is join the conversation. I love the way you talk about agree to disagree and North America's back Poyton, those of the themes of the program. Your take is always well how. For everyone. And I really appreciate what you call six one seven five, four ten thirty. The last couple of hours have been talking about two issues. Dan Rae and Nancy shack the first issue that we introduced was the, the straight pride parade. That was announced in some form of fashion in the last day or so. And we had one call last hour, Mark from Boston who said that he was one of the organizers, and we tried to extract from him. What phobia was the reason why they want hetero phobia, and we tried to get some examples from him of hetero phobia generalizations, but no specifics. He said he would give us specifics tomorrow. So I'll be interested to see what does might be. We'll see did you talk with them after, you know, talk to grabbed it per minute. So we'll say okay, and we may have someone from the group on tonight, but we're going to continue to talk about this and we hit also talked with mayo Monte Walsh in the first hour about. They program that is now ongoing in the Boston public libraries called drag Queen story out now. This is not sponsored by the city. No. But city library Boston public library facilities of being made available and there's one coming up in the not too distant future in the north end. So if you're in the north end. Like to take your Levin, your three to eight year old down to have some drag Queen at sign of read them stories on June twenty second, I and I think Nancy field that this is way over the line inappropriate inappropriate there. They cite what the purposes. Yeah. On their website, you hang on. I can bring it back up. I, I was reading something else for a second. Yeah. No right back to. Well, I think I can paraphrase it, if it's not, they immediately and the paraphrase is they go ahead. So according to d- Q, S H, drag Queen story, our their, their purpose is to capture the imagination and play of the gender fluidity in childhood in Hank. Give kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models, which is from my perspective. A political agenda. Yeah. I think so. Okay. And if there was let us say another group, let's say, for example, the NRA who wanted to explain to three eight year olds, the, the value of me tweet gun. They do they do. Bring in some would be, you know, probably psyched about it or as, as we discussed in our last conversation last hour with Beth, okay? Would you draw the line? So the drag Queen story hours, the what about the, the SM story. Our just people coming in dressed in SNL costume or whatever and reading stories to three two eight year-olds, and I think Beth who's probably is more open minded than I am said that was a little too far. Yeah. So the so, so we invite you to call. We invite you to let us know what you think we've got a couple of callers who have hung over, and we're gonna go right to Jim. And then to Steve and, and get your comments on both either or both str-. Great pride parade for Boston both Nancy and I see it as nothing more than a jibe at the gay pride parade in Boston unnecessary and probably would maybe attract fifty marchers. Maybe I don't know if that and, and also, again, your, your comments on drag Queen story hour, and it could be unclothed minded, and that I don't think the kids between three and eight necessarily need to be exposed to drag queens. And I've, I've said and I will stand by what I said that men dressing up as women if they do it at clubs with friends. I don't know. I'm not judgmental. My view is keep keep I I'm not interest goes on in your bedroom, period, period. Okay. However, if you're going to import what I perceive to be abberant behave. Savior, and I think some of you might disagree feel free to call. If you're going to try to import average behavior into the public libraries for the purpose of changing the minds of three two eight year-olds, I'm going to call the why I'm going to blow the whistle letter. I to be honest with you. I wouldn't call it apparant behavior. But I think that one caller, we had in first or second second hour, I guess who said he doesn't like the sexualization of children. I agree with that. I didn't agree with much else that he said, but that in particular, I think is a good one. I don't want anybody sexualizing children gay or straight, and I most of the gate callers, we had who were who were checking don't like it either. Well, so again, I, I don't want to back off from the word abberant. I again, what people do in the privacy of their own homes, or in adult areas at nightclubs or whatever that's different strokes different folks. But I do believe the carrot. Characterizes average because it's not which won't consider normal in normal generally is defined by what the vast majority of people of accept and participating I don't think it's necessarily normal to, to, to, to helicopter ski. What you call it aberration. I might not call that Everett now call that average I might call the dangerous a Mike Varney life-threatening may be foolhardy whatever. But there are people who are braver than I am in skillful, but I, I would consider the idea of exporting behavior that I think is abberant into a forum to. Effect the talk about the gender fluidity of children. I think gets gets into an area that I'm not comfortable in can say in regard to the straight pride parade. Yeah. I don't know where to speak for you, but I don't think either one of us have a problem with a straight pride parade per se. Visiting this necessity sesame for it, but I don't have a problem with it either. Would I do have a problem with is? If I if I detected it's not legit. You just is this is a mean of China, make fun of people and, and to be honest with you. I found the guy who called I think you used the best term. I've heard so far too cute by half and that it was, it was smarmy, and it's an I detected the needle in it. If our for gay pride parade and not just sets my team maybe wasn't prepared. Maybe the entry he called us. Any way to twenty minutes to get on the air. We, we did not delay, and we take the calls. We're taking the calls tonight and some older. So let us begin in lettuce. Not Jim, you have been extraordinarily patient. We're going take you before the break. Thanks for calling in Jim this has been a very interesting topic. Go ahead, Jim. We're doing great. The, the amazing big environment system who's gay, and I called her up while I've been waiting. So she said, she thought that would be having a drag Queen with free and Rada eight-year-olds in well, I'll tell you, if you check around in Maryland. I suspect what's going on in Massachusetts is also going on in Maryland. I believe that someone told us tonight. It's in twenty three communities across the country. I live in Maryland, and I have lived in Massachusetts, but. But at the end of the day, you know, my sister saying that, like, really gave me a good thing. And I gotta say the partner of I assist the is better than any guys. Absolutely. In a. Maybe. I don't think anything of it. I mean, I did have a hard time swallowing it years ago. But now you know, I'm accepting the idea's fine. Yeah. I mean, I've, I've known gay couples for long time, and they are, in many cases more committed to, to good relationships than some of my friends who might be married, married couples. You know, and as I say, I don't see innate need for, I'm assuming based upon what you said that you're a straight male. I don't see a need to say let's have a straight male parade or a straight pride. I mean you. Well, the funny thing of the funny thing about it was that it's a straight pride parade. The funny thing about it is when, when we asked, I guess, was Mark the, the composition of the folks who are trying to put together this straight pride parade. He said that the majority of them were guys you got to wonder where the girls. No need for it. But you know, I'm not opposed to it. Like you said, why do it? When bright fun. You know why do. Yeah. Well, I is that? Hey, thanks for your patience. Been evening. Thanks jank's. Jim. Thank you for your patience. Keep calling the shell okay? Have a great night. I'm gonna get Steve in here as well before before the break because he's been waiting a really long time as well. Steve. Thank you for your patience. We get in before the break. Go ahead. Thank you very much, Dan. Listen. I'm listening to this conversation that's going on here. To me, my opinion you guys. We'll keep an guy MAC. Cross-examination opinion opinions. Well. Gortat opinion you coming. Question. No, we will. The question fifty. Well, here's, here's the thing, Steve. And again, we're not going to give you high time. Okay. Not going to cross examine you bet. Once you understand what you're saying he called on he identified himself. And if I'm saying anything is incorrect, please, correct me. He identified himself as a spokesperson, or lead or one of the groups and his opinion. So my, my simple question was okay. Why are you doing this, and he talked about, I think the term he used in a correct me if I'm wrong was hetero. Phobia. Do you recall that term? Does he his? That's the. Okay. Great. So then I was interested. Okay. What do you mean by that? I've heard the term homophobia and obviously hetero phobia, would be the opposite of homophobia. You know, fear of straight people as opposed to fear of gay people, and we just asked him for some specifics. And he immediately said, well, once we announce the parade, we got some bad emails. Okay, that's fine. But, but, but, but we look at for a couple of examples that prompted. An e gives go ahead. Conversation. I wanna give you go right ahead. Go right ahead. Well, this is in response to what you said. Let's go ahead, Steve. Good. Keep it going all night. Why not have a parade? Why not? Doc your nation goes. Children of indoctrination. Yeah. We don't disagree. We we're on. We're you, you're, we're on the same page, I think with you on drag Queen story hour so we can dispense with I can't understand why. Allow the straight trade straight because all all sides and government should be Representative opinion should be well, I think what the mayor said to us, did you listen to the mayor on our show. He was in studio with us from. Can't you happen to hear what he had to say? Or no. Yeah. This trait prayed..
