"Send out to stand in the middle of a hurricane. And they tell you how terrible it is. And they tell you how you should be in a house or a shelter or someplace out of the way. And that this is just going to be absolute, death and destruction. And they're out there. Standing in the middle of it. The old do as I say not as I do. It is just as our tweeted yesterday just so nineteen eighties television. It's just stupid and somebody's going to get killed while there was a crew in North Carolina back in may that was killed when a tree fell on their live and local television in North Carolina. But I'm looking at this thing on Wednesday and the hurricane just hit just struck and reporters were all over the place standing holding onto trees and showing you how strong the weather is and. The last time a hurricane went through here. The one that went through North Carolina. Remember the guy that worked for I think it was CNN. I think it was CNN that he worked for. And I want to make sure I get his name because he just looked like a complete buffoons. Yeah. No. It was with the Weather Channel. Mike sidell? Mike Sidell is doing a live shot. The last time we had a hurricane about six seven weeks ago in North Carolina. And he's standing there, and he's bracing against the wind. And it looks like it's bona back and forth. Meantime behind him art crew two guys just walking outside like it's a Saturday afternoon in del high. And I'm thinking is I made a lot of money in the television business for forty five years. And I'm thinking really are. We still doing this nonsense that huge hurricane that went through Puerto Rico just devastated that island about a year ago. ABC sent a guy down there on these frogman glasses and the wind is blowing. And he's like standing there with the wind blow and trying to keep his ballots, and I'm like, dude, first of all you look like an idiot. Second of all we know the wind is blowing third get the hell out of the picture and let the guy who's doing the real job. The photo journalist, take the pictures. So we can see what's going on. Those are the real heroes. The guys with the cameras that go out there with all of that equipment. Take pictures put it on the air as I said yesterday when I tweeted this out this has not changed in the history of journalism. A picture is worth a thousand words, some of these guys they gotta realize just how stupid they look somebody's telling you to do that. They somebody told me to do that. There's no way of God's green earth. I'm going out there and doing that for my own safety and for my own reputation. Five forty NewsRadio seven hundred wwl w. Thinkers.

"O'Hare, midway, seventy eight FOX lake sixty eight the lakefront reporting seventy six degrees. Windsor northwest at. Five in the Brahmin steady. I'm Steve Bertrand in the WGN newsroom ready to join the conversation live, whatever story changes right here on Chicago's very own seven twenty WGN. Thank you. Steve steve. I know you usually go at this time. But I just want to ask you if you saw the weather channel's reporter who. Really appeared that he was faking his report can't Florence. Oh, I didn't see that. The video has been all over the place. It's weather guy who he's a meteorologist, and he's covering it live the hurricane and the audio is, you know, this is the worst it's ever been. And he is looking like he is really bracing himself. So he doesn't get blown over. And he's holding his hand by his ear like in the old Gary Owens position. And then there are two dudes in gym shorts. That just walked past them, obviously. Yeah. I mean, their clothes are blowing. But why would you do something like that? He's obviously showing off his mind skills. Did you ever see that thing that minds do where it's walking against the wind where they're like holding their hands out, but the winds pushing their hands. So this guy's obviously very very good at it. The Weather Channel he is a meteorologist there. Marcel Marceau is his name, Wendy. I just found him on on your social media. Some guy on Twitter was watching and saw hosted a pretty much a viral fill the two guys walk behind him. It's very believable. Absolutely. Because you do see that. It's windy, and he's struggling is best to just kind of stay without falling down behind destroy past is not that. I'm looking at it. So what's the offense is the offense? Well, I mean that he's he might be over acting a little bit. So that is is staggering against the wind might be exaggerated. Yeah. Because I mean, the winds really blowing and it's whipping is look at his pants. It's blowing up those two guys would be affected by well. They are walking with the wind. The two guys are already big difference. The Weather Channel Dell. Dell. He he really appeared to be battling stay upright. And then they kind of come back you see their gym shorts moving in the we'll wait. So you're, but he's not making the wind up his pants are flapping like it is mad, but it seems to be more manageable than he's letting on because those two guys aren't having anywhere near the same difficulties that he's having their about five feet away from each other and their they walked past. And then they walk in the shot coming back. The other way, the bizarre video racked up a million Facebook views in a matter of hours. I keep what I can't stop watching. It. A spokesman for the Weather Channel said, quote, it's important to note that the two individuals in the background are are walking on concrete. Maybe and Mike Sidell is trying to maintain his footing on wet grass after reporting on Aaron till one AM this morning and he's undoubtedly exhausted. So I think the lesson to be learned is if you're in a situation like this walk on concrete and not on the grass. You'll make a lot better traction. He can't seem to figure that out. I mean, I will give him that. I'm sure the grass is far more slippery than the concrete. But if you just slides over just a little bit to the right, he'll be fine. What's his name? Mike Sidell Slidell. Can't stop watching it. And I mean grass or not he is like fighting to stay erect. And these two dudes just walked by gym shoes. Okay. But if you look again at his clothes, his he's wearing pants. Yes. Well, but they're really hard to whip pants with the win win. Does definitely there Steve. But it looks like he's embellishing the force of these win. He's doing a Hunchback of Notre Dame sort of shuffled, right? That's what he looks like it's his way of saying, you know, for a human being like us to be where he is right now it's impossible to just walk. But then I mean, he's he didn't say that. In those words, but I think that's the purpose of his report outside is look, Wendy. It is I'm a I'm a grown man who can't even stand down takes your way and those guys just playing horse behind him. Frisbee. Very I mean, their pants are blowing. But they're certainly not having any problems walking at all. Not even a little bit. They are walking with the wind, which is a little different. But then they come back the other way and see that. Yeah. I only have half baked defense. But I mean is that what you want the Weather Channel to do? I mean, I guess they sensationalize a lot of things because there are weather buffs that love watching this. But I don't know. I think that's super fake. I know he's trying to illustrate a point. But but the fact that those guys kinda de-legitimize his point is upsetting. But I know that when they send you out to a to a troubled area. You gotta show trouble. Right. So maybe maybe he's embellishing a little bit. I can maybe just you gotta see it. The New York Post has the we've put it on Facebook. He was battling to stay upright. He threw something into the wind and it blew but that like really that much right? And he is like Marcel Marceau as you mentioned. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The best part of this is when he does try to get out of a box. And then he does tug of war with a guy. They're fun to watch is other tricks are great. That's pretty amusing. It's the new service a little while ago who had reporters stationed somewhere, and then you could see from the angle of the shots. They were all right next to each other. But they kept throwing it they go. We'll throw it. Now, we throw it to you. Mark take it away. But you could see that they were right next to each other to remember that that was like four or five years ago that can't remember what new service it was. But again, that's the news wants to show. You the severity of where whatever the story or the situation is and sometimes sadly, they have to stretch a little bit. Who wish it wasn't that way? But that's the reality of it. Well, someone said that we should ask Tom skilling about this because he's next to a building which would make it more Wendy. The building why would the building making more it's like a wind tunnel when the wind gets stuck in their cortex from a building corner could do that in his defense. And at the time the report was explaining how they have to brace themselves from the wind. I was watching and listening. But then why did the two dudes walking by not have to brace themselves? Right. They didn't even look like they were having much. Oh, they were sauntering. Yes. Was that right? Why didn't those guys call him out on it is it is it that Wendy by five feet away? Because we're not having a hard time at all. Although, you know, sometimes when it rains it you can like I'm out walking the dog, and it's not raining, and then I just walked through a curtain. That's really weird. Maybe. Well, if you wanna laugh to watch it, it's. Sidell? We'll put it on our Facebook page there yet chess. I yet almost we've got a team of specialists working around the clock to get that done, Wendy, so very soon. All right. Thank you very much a quick break. And then there's more show stick around Bill and Wendy WGN time check in with the business world. I'm Steve Bertrand. You've heard of conspicuous capitalism, right, but.

"We're gonna talk about the guy, the guy who who is acting like the wind was blowing, and they sure this is this is the Weather Channel. The Weather Channel had had an incredible sort of PR u-turn in the middle of this storm. They were praised for this mazing graphic work. They did with the with storm surge in graphics, showing this is what this is. What could happen in the American southeast. And then they had this video of their reporter, Mike Sidell in Wilmington, North Carolina. Appear to be leaning to his right into a gusting wind as if he's about to be blown over like he has to go at a forty five degree angle because otherwise it just be blown across. And then we see two guys walk behind him in the parking lot. Just just Virgil, just like they're walking seven, eleven to get a big gulp or sniping way resistance. Wait a second. A spokesman for the Weather Channel says. It's important to note that the two individuals in the beggar on our walking on concrete was side l. tries to maintain his footing on wet grass. And then the the spokesman got on. I suspect this is the actual answer to say Sitel was exhausted after reporting on air until one AM. Right. So you're down there. You're an extremely chaotic situation. You're you know mindful of how you look on television. I suspect it's, we were looking. We were trying to find. I feel this is every every storm has the the moment we screwing around on YouTube. They found the today show canoe situation, whereas Matt Lauer back back when he was hosting with visual and Katy Kirk through it to a correspondent who is who is in this dramatic shot in a canoe, and then to rescue workers walked in front of her in the water turn. It had to be ankle-deep. That was, you know, shows that was turns out you probably did not need to be in the canoe to get the shop at, but but man, Illich. Great. I spent some time by the way at the Weather Channel last year down there were incredibly lovable nerdy about storms and you have. All these, you know, extremely highly, credentialed urologist out there. So I think the Weather Channel probably have anything errors on the walkie side of storm coverage. And you know, it's, it's the rest of of the cable news universe anyway, that that's on that. Just just saying that I and it wasn't me. It was a really funny clip. I think that there that the way I mean, the Weather Channel was certainly not the worst example of the sort of natural disaster porn that has taken over. It's not just the media coverage, although there's a lot of that, but you know, my parent- my family's enter in Charlotte, North Carolina, which was thankfully, you know, out of the out of, you know, the the most dangerous at parts of the hurricane, and they're far enough inland that it's never really a huge concern. Although, you know, we, I was alive for hurricane Hugo, it can. It can. It can get bad, but I was calling my mom calling my dad, and then I just Google to see how Charlotte was doing on Saturday afternoon in the first thing that came up was like a YouTube video of like houses with trees, fallen through them and stuff. You know. I mean, it's like there's this stuff is all around, but anyway, I'm sympathetic to the. The Weather Channel. I mean, you know, I, I've been on camera before and we all, you know, suck in our gut and try to stand a few inches taller. I don't think there's anything that bad about leaning forty five degrees to the right to pretend the wind is blowing really hard on occasion just to make a point come on. We've all been there. Yeah. And then we have Trump hours before Florence made landfall. He tweets, three thousand people did not die in the to hurricanes that hit Puerto Rico. When I left the island after all caps after the storm, it hit, they had anywhere from six to eighteen deaths as time went by did not go up by much..

How's it going? So what's going on down in North Carolina? What are the what's the aftermath of Florida? Yeah. Record rain Blida rated the old record of just over twenty four inches some spots. Now thirty plus ages of rainfall in still some pockets of heavy rain and thunderstorms and around the triangle near Raleigh and Sanford, and even some severe weather in your Goldsboro. So what's the remnant deal for us? What's that all about we get rain? We don't get the New York City area the Tri state into the flash flood watch flash flood watches he said, although startup in orange, and Dutchess and Ulster counties appoints. North and then west into the southern tier and parts of Pennsylvania down through the spine of the Appalachian. So there will be a stripe of maybe three to four possibly five inches of rain that should pass north of the city, but still we could get a decent soaking, especially if you run into some of the heavier thunderstorms late tonight and tomorrow. But don't think it's going to be raining all day like we saw from Florence and the Carolinas more like you get these batches of rain and thunderstorms. They come through you. Get a heavier downpour here. The next time you get it somewhere else. So scattered around the air mass will be human. It'll be warm upper seventies during the day today. Tomorrow of the nighttime lows. Steamy to for this time of year to in the low seventies and then by mid week nice and dry and mild mild right on through the rest of the week with no rain expected. "Wind is blowing their shirts around or something. But there otherwise they're not all that worried about it not struggling to stand. Now, the Weather Channel said he was trying to maintain his footing on wet grass that can be tough. What? If you're running and then try to stop. Yes, he was trying to maintain his footing on wet grass while the people in the background will walking on concrete. It's important to remember that. Anybody buying that? No. It's important to note. This is what the Weather Channel said it's important to note that the two individuals in the background are walking on concrete and Mike Sidell is trying to maintain his footing on wet grass after reporting on air until one AM eastern time this morning and is undoubtedly exhausted. So he was tired and standing on grass. And that's the way it looks. Like he was faking some pretty big heavy wind gusts and the weird thing is the storm is bad enough. You don't have to fake it. I know. I know, but it was just like, Katrina. Remember, it was awful, but you had NBC the one reporter is out there, all it's horrible. And there in the boat and people are standing around. It was like twelve inches of water. But they out the way they shot it. Yeah. It looked like always, flooding everywhere. And then people are walking around. Yes. You don't have to play it up. You're gonna lose your credibility. One guy who never did have credibility. But he's got a lot of play is the hurricane head banger. This jackass. Yeah. Hey, he's Freeman. There's no part of you that enjoys this guy at all. So this is the guy you may have seen some of the videos of him. He stands out in the hurricane force winds. He's got very long luscious hair. Oh, yeah. He holds an American flag. He's wearing a Speedo, and he just had bangs into the wind. Now. You're naked and the audience wants to know this is FOX business in they're watching. Is senior. In this weather right now, not wearing any clothes just being free in American, man. Yes. My man free at American. What's wrong, bro? Why don't you love America just being free in American, man? Just really become famous. I wanna get on TV. I've already been viral. Hurricane head banger. I'm gonna get you. Chivalrous? He and afraid of nothing, man. They'll take it on and crank metal while. He's doing it. Yes. Yeah. Moron. I do like we all need to laugh now. And again, I do love it though, how everybody on cable news is like now don't go out and do the storm unless you absolutely have to like we're going onto this storm because we feel like we absolutely have to. And then we're also going to celebrate this guy who's going to show up in a Speedo bang in the winds. Yeah. Tell me there's not part of you that doesn't enjoy that story. Well, if we have the conversation, I mean, if that guy something horrible happens to him during the hurricane. Nobody's gonna weep for that guy. Right. Well, maybe a few but most you would say absolutely not. You know, what I want to get to the Buffalo Bills player? Retiring at halftime coming up in the next ten minutes. But you David millennial our producer Craig Collins millennial. Defending millennial sometimes other times, not so much. But I think you have a point that millennials get blamed for a whole lot of things that's probably not their fault. Looks like the millennials getting blamed for killing off every store in America killing off man as. Yeah. I mean, all these different things that supposedly my generation kills and one of those was Sears. Yeah. But is it turns out you say in the story millennials aren't killing Sears. It's retirees retirees are killing off Sears. This isn't my these are my words. This is what the CEO Eddie Lampert says. Okay. Says it's his own companies retirees because they had a very generous pension plan years and years ago, and they're still having to pay out a ton of money. Well, that's not. That's not the retirees issue. That's management's issue. Yes. You made the deal, and I would like to point out the people who made that deal with these retirees are not millennials. I'm just saying. And I bet they got their money. They did Sears is paid out almost two billion dollars independent plans in the last five years four and a half billion since two thousand five okay. Okay. So that's I don't know. I just want to throw that edgier now millennials that are killing Sears headline garbage to me retirees are it because they're collecting the money that was owed to them from the deal. They entered into our the retirees getting paid out a lot of money, Jamie. They are is that affecting Sears in a negative way. Yes. How's the headline wrong? Because they didn't make the deal. That's almost as bad as blaming the millennials for not going there. It's ridiculous. Absolutely stupid other things not only will get to the Buffalo Bills player. They're retired at halftime. But also, a Florida Taco Bell employees refuse to take an order from an English speaking customer. Because this person that worked at Taco Bell thought. It's tacos you need to speak Spanish. And if you can't I'm not serving you, and if a couple of players in this particular story are just slightly different. "Was you partly in that every once in a while, Elvis will come in here up done. I'm I'm, I'm done today's my last day and then I think about my life and I think I don't have any plans for anything. If I don't have a paycheck and you don't wanna talk about it. 'cause it's talking about death. You don't wanna talk, and I've talked to froggy about this too. It's one of these things where I'm like, I'm just gonna nor it. It's fine. It's fine. I don't need to worry about my finances, but they're there and you need to have a plan and it's it's, it's talking to a therapist almost because you talked to someone and they make you feel so much better about your situation in that they're helping you to have a better situation if she didn't. Scold us like how dare you have not been and you big knowing it wasn't like that. I think you'll be surprised. We finally found someone who is great look with in principle financial, Jenny. We'll talk more about them in the coming days. I think set enough. We lost enough listeners. I mean, you really should think about it, and we found a fun way to do it. Okay into the fun stuff. Let's get into sound with Garrett. Hi, Gary good morning. So Garrett comes in every morning Gandhi, and here's sound out there on the net in also from shows and stuff. And he just kind of puts it into one little concise report, go ahead. One thing I've learned about Gandhi are ready that she hasn't said she's a sneaker head. Are you sneaker head recently? Yeah, yes. He did find out. I got the dope air Jordan's and I wanted to wear them today. Brody talked me out of it and I'm really upset. No, you can wear whatever you want. By the way our studios were relocated downtown Manhattan. We are just blocks away from sneaker, head central best shops, the line's wrapped around the corner constantly. Yup, it's great. All right. So let's talk about CNN. They had all their reporters and anchors team to North Carolina. This weekend reporting on the hurricane. John Berman. He was doing a live report, his microphone cord ripped off because the wind and got a little awkward. Now I'm gonna get the rate of the wind coming from a different direction. We will prepare for. That. You'll cage on. All right. Look obviously in a storm. Obviously you're gonna have committed cans issues. That's scary job. All right, Mike cord. Just literally just John here literally split. Just put into the connector right now. I had to plug it back in. I'm back. My court is in my hand right now, like me. Duck tape be helpful? Yeah, duct tape on his here. Scary usually has his court in his hand, what he's using duct tape. I will tell you this are GIO Benitez who does ABC news. He's the guy. They always said to the far corners of the world to try to survive these doors. Was he down there this week? Absolutely. Like Mike Sidell at the Weather Channel who was acting as if the wind was blowing off his feet to people who are walking behind. Did you see that video jackass. Even even when he was by himself on camera you, it looked kind of weird how he was bracing against this band, and you could tell there was no wind and people were back behind him like skipping around like, nothing's wrong. The worst is the Weather Channel said, oh, will the grass was wet and therefore he was losing his footing because the grass was wet. No, trying to. Because being blown around. Great the world, and he was being Valona widely. We fake news on the Weather Channel. What other sound you have? Where's your microphone? Okay. Here cord came out is your hand, all right, machine. Your court is in my hand. I don't get it machine gun. Kelly put out rap devil a few weeks ago in response to Eminem Eminem took a few days and gives us kill shot. Just hit me on text. Last night. I left hickeys on a neck..

"Record rain a obliterated the old record of just over twenty four inches some spots. Now thirty plus ages of rainfall and still some pockets of heavy rain and thunderstorms and around the triangle near Raleigh and Sanford, and even some severe weather in your Goldsboro. There's currently tornado warning. Now, all that moisture as depression is starting to work its way north, but plenty of standing water rivers now will become a concern as many rivers still need the rise in reach flood as we go on through this week. So may actually come out by mid late weaken places, North Carolina into Virginia may actually see additional flooding as all this water is trying to run back into the Atlantic. So what's the remnant deal for us? What's that all about we rain? And most of our rain comes late tonight. Tomorrow scattered around though, certainly not thirty inches of rain, maybe an inch or two in some spots. We don't get the New York City area the Tri state into the flash flood watch flash flood watches, he said all those will start up in orange, and Dutchess and Ulster counties. Points north and then west into the southern tier parts of Pennsylvania down through the spine of the Appalachian. So there will be a stripe of maybe three to four possibly five inches of rain that should pass north of the city, but still we could get a decent soaking, especially if you run into some of the heavier thunderstorms late tonight and tomorrow, but don't think it's going to be raining all day like we saw from Florence and the Carolinas more like you get these batches of rain and thunderstorms. They come through a heavier downpour here. Maybe little cool down over the weekend as think fall rides on Saturday. Hey, yeah. When we talked to you Friday, it's all as you doing some television over the happened to see some videos that went viral of the weather was that you. That was that was Mike Sidell gave up. I wasn't going get. Hey, listen. We gotta explain what happened here. There was a video of bikes Sidell who is fighting the wind and the Carol just fighting a winning just two guys casually walked by as if nothing was going on. So as looked as if he was like doing a bad mime in precious. Right, right. And you know, it's all dependent on the location might spin out there a long time and a bottom line is we always put our people in a safe position, and they are extra safe. Whether you're in the field, and so you'll Mike either a experienced a wind gusts are prepping himself for what could have been something a little bit stronger people walked sauntered tip what acting school. Do they send you guys too? The one I didn't go to because they don't put me out there. Well, Weather Channel did put out a statement saying he was on the wet grass and the Peter and walking Byron concrete, but we want our listens to know we have that video up plus and then we'll play the audio little bit the classic Michelle Kosinski today shopping. He's paddling canoe in this heavy rain and Wayne New Jersey paddling and and two guys just walked by..

If you haven't seen it. Here's what happened Weather Channel. Correspondent or correspondent Mike sido was in Wilmington North Carolina looking as if he's trying to fight the heavy winds is they're blowing. And here's the other problem. I have with that. If you look at the trees around there, the winds blowing the other way from where he's trying to go into it, so strong a lot of people calling it fake weather or he's doing this live report, and he's rocking back and forth, which to me looks fake. Anyway, I saw at the beginning of that. What is this guy doing here? And he's you know, he's going back and forth. Like, he's fighting the win guys come walking down the street behind him, not fighting anything. Yeah. It's amazing the defense. I think the weather for this guy. The fact that oh us on grass needed to talk. Yeah. And then of course, if you look at his pants. Yes. See that. The wind gusts were very strong. It wasn't wind gusts but come on come on you guys insurance. Just check this out. Check this out. It's been viewed more than thirteen point six million times. And I'm guilty of watching it. I don't know how many times over the weekend because I chuckle out of it. I thought it was funny. Yeah. So now, you got the hashtag fake weather. Get ready. Hashtag fake weather. Nothing.

"This week. The story has been the hurricane and I harken back to a week ago right now I had Jim gone on the air. When we go today, and we talking about Hurricane Gordon dropping all that rain last weekend. Remember that was only a week ago. Hurricane Gordon here in central Ohio dropping couple inches rain. And Jim went on to say, my real concern, isn't what's going on with Gordon, but my real concern is Florence in Florence at the time was between the African coast in the United States headed our way. And he said, Jeff, here's what's going to happen with that hurricane and he said Jim can all call it a week ago. He said that thing's going to strengthen to category four, and as it comes closer to the land. It's going to be a category three and when it hits North Carolina it's going to be category. Two, but the worst part Jeffords it's going to linger for days, it's going to sit on the coast of the Carolinas dropping rainfall amounts that are just gonna devastate the Carolinas. Jim told us that a week ago. And here, we are we? Later in Jim Gonzalo. Unfortunately, was correct on that. I remember line. He said is what hurricanes. What's what's oftens hurricanes are land? When hurricanes overland at softens than enduring no land between hurricane Florence and the east coast of the United States, and he was right on target with that. So we had great analytics and performance of of of information leading into that on Thursday. I think it was I stopped at home at lunchtime. A turn on the Weather Channel. And I see Paul Goodell who is one of the Weather Channel forecasters who standing on a boat dock somewhere in Wilmington, North Carolina bracing himself trying to talk to the meteorologist back in the the the the main studios, and he was bracing himself. And I was just waiting for him to get blown over and into the water. There was a point where he stopped talking for a moment because you could tell he was strengthening his core. Trying not to get blown over and I had to stop and ask myself. Why do weather? Forecasters feel the need to stand in the middle of a hurricane report. Why do you have to do that? I'm not a dummy. I can see the trees bending over. I can see debris blowing side by side. I can see the Whitecaps on the road next to you. You don't need to get out there. And and potentially do damage to yourself and get injured doing that. Another forecaster down there. It was a local forecast array believe I was what saw video clip was broadcasting from somewhere in the downtown area. I believe a Wilmington. It wasn't far away from the ocean and some roofing sheet metal blew off and went up and hit him in the back of the head. I'm telling you common sense tells me this there's going to be a forecaster. There's going to be somebody on television. That's going to get killed on live TV during one of these storms. Thank god. It didn't happen this one. But every time I see these forecasters doing it. I say to myself one of these guys is going to get killed on live TV. And it's stupid. You don't need to do that. Don't do that stop doing that. Another video. I saw this week was I think Mike Sidell from the Weather Channel was was broadcasting live from outside the hurricane. It was bracing himself. Like he's going to get blown over in the background. Whoops, two guys are just strolling in shorts and flip flops behind him about forty yards or so just strolling on by just walking like nothing's happening. And boy did that video takeoff. There are heroes out there. Because of what happens I say it all the time that during natural disasters during catastrophes. Like this shows the worst of America in the best of America. You got an opinion. I'd love to hear it at eight to one WTVN almost on social media west side. Jeff. And some of the things I took note of this week were this, first and foremost, our heroes out of this from the storm number one was the national weather service and weather. Forecasters whole who called it for a week. Again last week. Jim Goodall was on this show and predicted that he said it would strengthen as a cat for to a cat four. He said it would come in to the to the area near the coast is a cat three, and it would be downgraded pretty quickly into a cat too. But linger for days, and Jim gone all told us a week ago.
