"Best solutions for our clients and just making sure that we he down numbers as well. We've all got targets tonight and yeah just making sure on top of things. So. There's quite a few real estate say are out there. What do you consider to be able software superpower? We ask Askale. Clients and prospective clients I lock about it. So it's not just me saying this and the feedback we get from people is that they really enjoy the ease of use of our crm when I have a local window logging eat Mike Sense. So the logic is very good way. Do I go next after the step and the other thing that really appeals to people lose Ale automation the automation again adds to that simplicity of the crm. It it just means that I out in the field then have to spend as much time in this area because a lot of the automations doing things on their behalf. So frees up a lot of talk to them that time can be spent. Doing. More more appointments or even. With family and friends said, they're not stuck to the computer and that really excites us and it also allows them to set up workflows within their office. Everyone wants the business Jarama certain why unfortunately I? Woke. At had implemented within the current system. So when they say how we do it, it makes sense and they can very quickly and easily implement that will use hail pre written what I. Just tweak them a little bit nothing sets really exciting. Yeah. Absolutely. I WANNA get into some of that stuff with you actually. I just want to sort of a little bit because you've been in the real estate industry for quite a while I. Think we worked out the other day when we were chatting say hello, have you been in real estate? We'll have a twenty years I've been with a few providers I initially started working in real estate office in spouse. My principal at the time was Terry Heitmann at and professionals, and he was really wanting someone look at Dada by. So that was morale building the database full the office at the time we got up data into our office and that was really exciting. This new technology. This was when the Internet was just the beginning an email was a brand new thing as well. and. That's where my love of the crm database really started and then spent a bit on. Then then a winning to apply daughter spent ten years at aplly dot CEOS they are around. Five hundred client mocks so really dies and know they've gone onto your embiid things without me, but that's fine. You know we all need different challenges and so forth in what we do, and then I spent some time at a company co pulp said eventually consol. So another five years as. I have been around and I also worked for another company that does email marketing but all of it really centered around the dot of ice communicating with paypal and how do we do that efficiently in the best it's interesting that you recall. Jacob oppy daughter in the LBJ's like are hearing a story about how the Fan of college accused to get these car and go and actually take photos of that is true wearing we actually had a team of people who go out and physically woke the straits take photos of every single property white. Interestingly, my brother actually did that and you had to gallon take a photo of a property which wasn't clean. I. Think after that he up all but yeah, I suppose what it shows is the level of commitment it takes to build a dot of ice that eventually has value thousand just come to you..

"That's mindfulness. Re established not the story that we lost in, but knowing thinking is happening. And then with Klay comprehension, we know that thinking is. Happening about something from the past or something from the future. That this thinking is not What I'm supposed to be paying attention to, and so we go back to the breath. These two aspects. Very important because as we develop mindfulness. We have to be aware not only of an object, but we may have a number of objects that we paying attention to. And we might be paying attention an object that is advising internally that is within. Our own mind and body, but we also need to pay attention to objects that are happening at side as cells, and this is where the. Vol of clear comprehension becomes. More obvious. Because what we're trying to establish is the mindfulness it doesn't just exist during a meditation period. But which. GROWS, and becomes. Equality of mind a skill that we take into our daily life. And so we're able to focus on what we doing while we're doing it. But not. Just in isolation from what's going on around us. The context? And also the cause and effect relationship that is happening when we are feeling a particular way and we say something because of the way we feeling we say to someone else and we see the effect that will always said has had on them. The. Mindfulness is. Internal first of all to know this is how we feel to know that we saying something and then to observe the reaction, the effect of what we've said is that we mindful externally. If trying to be mindful of our movements, for example, and walking down the busy straight, we need to know the context in which we're walking so that we don't just walk out. Onto the middle of the road and get hit by a car. We are mindfulness has to be more expensive than just walking and paying attention to the movement in the body. So the click comprehension at this time. is where we start to Mike Sense of. The context and see the effect of what we're saying or doing and then as we. Say or do something, and we recognize the effect that affect becomes a new cause. So we say something to someone and I say something back to us. And then we notice what that produces internally how we react to what they said. How it feels and the feeling can be a physical feeling like. An unpleasant feeling. They said something that we don't lie. or it could be that they said something that we like and is a pleasant feeling that arises internally. And so we start to notice the cause and effect this internal pleasant feeling or this internal unpleasant feeling is produced. By having heard something what the Buddha Kohl's ascents contact hearing. Consciousness hearing contact sound. Heard. By now E-. Hearing, consciousness arises and there was a pleasant feeling produced. This is moving from an online fullness internal mindfulness and to notice that this pleasant feeling where it's come from. The trigger has been external, but the reaction is internal. Internal reaction becomes a new 'cause I. It was the effect becomes the 'cause when we like it. We like that person usually if we don't like it. We usually don't like that person. We think it's the person. It's actually the way that we feel that we li- or dot like now this is something to discover and this is what I'd like to. Make clear about mindfulness mindfulness is playing a function. It has a role to play in allowing us to see more clearly what's going on in our experience what's going on in cause and effect going on in producing every actions and responses to the world around us. Now, I'd like to give you an example of how we can. Develop this mindfulness and. If any of you have done a meditation retreat with me. United Sometimes Down on a piece of paper particular activities that we are going to do through the day and then not extra ordinary activities said the usual things that we do in the course of living so might be walking or Mike via. Reaching to turn the DOORKNOB or might be lifting the cup to take a drink. It might be. Coughing. It might be AH brushing our hair, just normal activities of daily life but. When I write them all on a piece of paper you have to choose at random one activity to spe to pay special attention to. And throughout the course of the day every time you do that activity to pay full attention to it. To be in the present moment with that activity. We come into the present moment when we focus on our body on the activity of the body, because that is always happening in the present moment, and if we want to get a clearer picture of our experience, we need to be in the prison moment and we do that directly by focusing on the body. And it may not be just a movement it may be an activity so it might be washing the dishes or cleaning your teeth. And the first part of the. Practice is simply to remember to pay attention. and. So with that one activity throughout the course of retreat US zero in on that. For the rest of the day, you might be completely mindless. Do things without even noticing what you doing doing one thing while thinking about something else. But at least for that activity, you try to give it your full attention..

Use that on monthly gets whereas if you reduce my mortgage by thousand times with the interest rates as low as they all. It wouldn't have a massive impact on my my cash flow, so the payoff all Saito thinking back obviously redemption penalties on mortgages as well. Certainly paying off higher higher interest debts, Mike Sense lowering interest debts, mortgages you need. Both sides. Of the coin really and Julia, what's about trusts? They're not as tax efficient as they used to be, but it's still a use for them. That's right, so yes, they're not tax efficient as they were, but there's definitely still a roof trusts. What trust are good at is providing valuable source of funding a full future needs various beneficiaries, so for example they could pay for the education of some of your grandchildren. particularly with the pandemic can mind and its impacts on the parents I in finances. That would be a assistants. That also very useful where the needs of your various beneficiaries aren't currently clear. So this can be particularly unhelpful in this uncertain changing time. In effect, no-one beneficiary has any fixed entitlement under trost, so it can be an effective emergency fund for different children grandchildren, who can benefits from it as needed? Because the found does matchy belong to beneficiary? It means as touched on. It's not automatically available to any credits so on a beneficiaries, bankruptcy or divorce. It's not bad money in. It's not available to meet those claims on that. Again is a very big consideration at this particular time. Finally. A number of months do appreciate the can allow them to have a certain degree of ongoing put. Aunt control. Defense, they've given away. So that might be through. trustees themselves all three, choosing who will act as trustees. And federal they can set out their wishes the trust into the future who should benefit from it? How and when in relevant circumstances finally in its very well wanting to pass assets on quickly? But how do people make sure? They didn't give away too much lease.

"Some on the Internet right now on the fence. Anybody else self old abroad so roque more valuable actually doors and tells them a little bit about Eos vase say and what its role is rigged up so throughout the token sale The two thousand seventeen twenty eighteen in just over full bay and revenue had a billion of that was airmont towards in supporting companies that building on or using your CEO. And that's pretty much it We have a number of putting the funds Galaxy Sandra Sandra in the US and a few others the main core of that managed by a team of home led by founder and we offer it really as a traditional sie That's pretty much good really looking for looking good companies US way in the thank you for making no symbols driver who didn't have to God it too much data on some of these quotas Atlanta Ansah. So I appreciate that sometimes takes time but some father wherever you invested. Have you found that. There's been a theme you with the investments leading up to now. Yeah I mean for the last twelve months It's really been dominated by the gaming space kind a- are you know upon funds and kind of the whole ecosystem. It's mainly been I would say the biggest sector within blockchain as it were is the gaming space And that's where he driven by the NFC side of things and we think it's a very low hanging piece of fruit in terms of You know the first wrote in Batticaloa it's GonNa get shifted by blockchain. So that's number one. The second really something to look in now is more supply. Why Shame Logistics Boring but you know what these existing businesses that can be appended pretty quickly? So that's kind of what we're looking at absolutely speaking with somebody not too long ago. It was speaking about Tom. Perishables like setting made from say Australia and Japan stop supports our Indonesia all of a sudden that you know the Fraser shops taboo this insight we send a frozen this sense I will. We didn't get a frozen WHO's to blame and housing work ways around that and that's the whole as you say very boring. A massive industry could use a little bit of help there as well so I understand that but the Guy Ming saw it. Do you think it's being the blockchain business working well the guy with the first into bitcoin and crypto assets and they're much more openly about you'd watch it or just Hughley from business plan the blockchain's haunts back of the business. So I mean if you look at the early iteration of and you're absolutely right as the game is one of the biggest parts of the early ecosystem you mentioned Brooke for example Brendan the CEO of one as well as a big long history history. In gaming the way we look at it is the first iteration on watching games. Were really very very simple. You look at today's Ace. Whatever they are and these are real kind of fuel outright blockchain games? They had that time. In my opinion I think what we're looking for now as a company like Mexico Games okay. That's a traditional AAA games. Judy I mean there's four four x judo heads I mean these guys have produced teams like club. She old from activision guys. And so that's really NUNTII. Five percent a traditional triple eight gaming studio but that extra five percent the unlocking with blockchain. NFC's and the ability own trade your own digital assets and that peace could have unlocked huge market before we not been able to play and we told them AAA the writing. Yes well in a sense I mean triple eight means talk what you expect to play on your xbox that kind of triple instead of the smaller adapt that we see now which maybe don't add. Fiddling little things have not yet a humongous massive revenue-generating new generating massive uses massive audiences. Like doesn't say call Judy exactly. And we'll a lot of these projects that you're investing being in but I'm asking you this because I love the skinny on this you were in the depths of it will issue. There are entitled to the same buying new sold or skin for the guy. I'm not so the thing is I mean that's a great question and it's a huge on something I try and keep it very few it is I mean getting to to mock it with the ability for players to actually extract value the whole point about blockchain digital assets is for the first time in a game you have ownership like property when you think about it. That's the title Property Property Rights then you've got markets and then and you have value transacted value. You're GONNA need at some stage and starts and where the cryptic token ends. It's a big big question. There's a lot of antimony neutering Kyi seat. I think any any game launches in developed market. It will need to compete. Consider those very very carefully if it's a simple straightforward. That doesn't really exist such as fashion. You you gotta get paid in L. Soul. Make your money in theory or whatever it is is less of an issue but for those games yes I mean that. KYC aml melting is going to be considered. Yeah makes sense. Actually we think about the the profiles of Playa Rod that profile the play as it goes through the ranks. It's GonNa be a cold early to there's going to be something that it's this artist. Shoot so I understand that saw. It's your character that you're gone or it's your soul. It makes Mike Sense to me an arm. Somebody not deeply entrenched in the technology on the trader speculate educated. But that's what I do in this so yeah it makes perfect sense. It's good that you say that because a lot of people just start on this step especially from traditional finance. They didn't understand like why would she. You pay a thousand dollars your character to have Louis Vitton Tom back. It doesn't make sense. It's like well you pay for your wife's one so you know just because it's in real life it's the same things apply. The same vanities apply so one loss longer. So I mean it's it's getting people to understand that and broaching does allows you to have limply in game sneakers or whatever it is so the wolves absolutely shifting in that direction. It's you know you can understand that thankfully very smile. So what else investing in the space. I can't imagine that you've execute all the funds yet. Imagine a lot of law a good ten things. I'd say let's talk. Let's hope told months from now as despite the falls ask me say. We'll regulation as businesses actually bringing products to the the mock rather hitting the road. Clients uses actually using things that have been created. Obviously we no longer markets. All of these projects are going to file ninety percent of businesses businesses and startups file. anyways too dissimilar to what we GONNA say. What do you think's going to be the next thing? Twelve months with the Progression Charlie as we say it so what I'm still waiting to see is that is a big existing business to effectively reinvent themselves by putting some part of that process on blockchain and that's kind of because it has the potential told to open so many doors allows the things that you couldn't do before but I've not seen enough cases of twenty twenty billion logistics company or social media. Come or any major company saying look now but Chris we implemented this. We're GONNA get an signings. Multiple that skyrocket. So whatever it is I haven't seen that and I think I'm hoping to see that. In the next twelve months as this space Mitchell's I'm I'm from a investment one of you. That's what we look for as well you know you know. We're a CRYPTO conference have been looking at blockchain companies but you blockchain venture well beyond what you'd call a blockchain company is any company that uses blockchain at all to reinvent invent or improve substantially any part of the business process for less time. And it's just not enough companies that we find them effectively actively And that's the challenge for the next twelve

He looks like Anne, it looks like off Anani who's been is that people would have been like did they throw in prison at the end of his she spent decades in prison after the end of the movie, Eddie. So we've got the biggest disappointment the predators you this the predator? Give it look just for. And he said it he said it in the movie don't destroy and set it in the apparently someone says an unedu- voltron as well. Oh, but who cares? I do voltron. So if we are going through time to think we're gonna get a bunch of different villains as well. We're going to be like look on. It's me read ska what if an assortment of villains chasing through Tom in the nineteen month the villains team of villains, take I love a villain tame. And what if opt because then also not really do you think Donald is going to tweet at any point what they're up to probably what do you think the goal is for them to go back in time? Is it to retrieve all the Infinity stuns before gets to maybe do that without him knowing maybe they're retrieving heroes through time to help them. He ended up being all these at good knows is good stuff. And you know, what we've got a bunch of theories that put out there on Twitter. You know that thing that tiny stock hasn't. He can go into the mind on ever in the whatever I managed to Again. out of. Well, maybe maybe they have to combine technology. Yeah. Maybe that's it. "There's one in particular that really caught my nine. It's called the digital. So it's the digital Democrats, and they are. This is a small company, and their goal is to take eighty eight zero tech savvy individuals in embed them in important campaigns. And so they've had two training sessions so far, there's another one coming up. And so I went there as part of the security training. And for me, this is important because I don't have people in the field in each of these state parties. I don't have people in campaigns, but if they're going to be embedded, it was really opportunity for me to try to influence them, sort of guess you'd call it train the trainer model. Yep. Mike sense. Yes. We went out and been working with them to train them be part of their Rico system. And the other thing that that allows me to do is to get some telemetry back from the field. So I'm well aware that if I said, hey, I'm Bob from headquarters. Please send me important information about security matters that come to your attention that some people will will find that resonates with them will do that. But I think a lot of other people wouldn't would necessarily think that that was important. So having the digit go out and provide some additional telemetry, his very, very interesting. And so getting a little bit of the hard reality of what's happening in the field. That's that's been very useful. And that's also. We've got the lie of the land now, right? So I imagine the list is I'm guessing something that's that's been a pretty critical initiative and I'm guessing the things on a going to be things like either all too. If I all into Google advanced protection, if your g mail us. Patch all of your shit, like all of that regular advice. I mean, I, I guess that's the that's the baseline stuff. So I'm guessing that's that's what's on your list. Right. Absolutely. It's literally, here's how you secured your devices. Here's how you secure your counts to a password managers, update your software. It's all very, very basic, but it's all very actionable. So it's simply calls out, did you up day Twitter? Did you update your Facebook? Did you up at your personal haste book? And so what I'm trying to do is get to the point where we don't see defacements of of campaign Facebook pages and things along those lines. This is it's, it's on the one hand, very easy. And yet as you've noted on the show before, just getting people to do it is a real struggle. Well, yeah, and look, we had a listen a question which I thought was a good one because before I am jumped on this call, I, I asked listens. Do you have any questions? And one of them was considering what happened in two thousand sixteen? Have you found that you've gotta mazing buyin from the organization from the people in it because of what's happened that they much more likely to do what you want, because I would have thought I'd be like security guy, just tell us what to do. Yeah, you know, humans are very interesting, and the thing that I was most afraid of when I got here was that people would be sensitized but not sensitized way that would cause them to change their behavior in their habits. So you know, when I've looked into other things that are re sort of related to security and how people react to trauma, I found some very disconcerting thing. So for example, people who have a heart attack carted away in an ambulance, at least in America, the the things that they're told to do include just what you think you need to change your diet. You need to exercise and if you're under fifty, you've had a heart attack euro smoker. So you need to stop smoking and you know what percentage of people do you think actually do all three. Dancer, it's actually women do much more than than men, but the average comes out to something like four percent while rate. Okay..

"Edge cases that that cause you grief right so how do you you know and the thing about machine lending is very good at most of it right and i know that it's very very good at most of it but what do the edge cases like what are the sort of things that have historically caused trouble machine learning models in milwaukee classification well that's interesting because the machine learning areas where it might miss tend to be those files that are very clearly one side or the other when you start talking about those potentially unwanted programs that they know as the kind of the common label among vendors when you have the kind of the nice piece about the mrs machine learning very good at identifying samples it hasn't seen before so when we see new threats or types of maur out there that's not usually where model miss yeah no i remember in silvio's silvio whole thing was really about looking at finding samples from a family that knows about that would look completely different to a typical vase scan but the m l model picks it very very reliably so new variants don't stand much of a chance against a machine learning model it's so i i guess what you're saying is it's that gray area software that causes the most trouble which mike sense right because it's at causes trouble for people as well yeah absolutely so when you look at things like a nearest neighbor search methods which is technique inside of machine learning you would be able to look at files as compared to sample seen before so we have a new sample in here that's unknown but we can see that it's ninety nine point nine percent similar or more to file that we have been able to successfully label as a militias family or something along those lines we then preempt that decision before anything's able to execute nets how we get a real prevention solution against files that we'd never seen before yeah and i'm guessing that you know if you see a file for the first time that is trying to do all of those shady things right that's going to be that's going to be easy to classify as well but if you see something for the first time i think i think when i was speaking to someone else from silence a great example that gave me of software that machine learning by smalls might have a hard time with things like gaming software right that might have anti cheap components that look kind of kiddie in it i mean that's that's where things get complex right yeah absolutely games are a good example of something that can be challenging due to its similarity to bullish off so when you look at things like the anti cheat software when you see things like low level hooking that games have to do or having programs act like servers are a lot of peer to peer communication on nonstandard ports that looks very suspect to a model so the the kind of the good piece there is that you see enough games and you train them as as a benign piece of software you would then be able to to eventually have the model learn that distinction between the two but especially with earlier models that that that is definitely one area that that ken look suspect to model so that brings up the question about bypassing right and to silence credit every time i've interviewed someone from silence they say at no point will we ever claimed that software cannot be bypassed by determined attack who really wants to slide by us right but what does that look like when it's a machine learning based solution because you bypass techniques gonna be usually pretty different what does it look like when you try to slide stuff possed machine learning model and do you at silence actually try to read team your own model and try to write melwood to slide pasta absolutely so what we refer to as adversarial abuse of model is something that's it's an important consideration it's a little bit of a nuance to attackers as well so you know we're we're never gonna come out here and say that that nothing will ever be able to.

"The changes the when you accused about the resistance of change will the dif difficult is that you face when trying to bring about change look who would be negatively impacted were that change to be about and usually that means that some people conservative mike sense to particular group of people one things i felt when reading book was the like i i because i think coming from a perspective psychoanalysis and it rings very the language rings true and the analysis rings true well where i feel one question was came to bring tv's when you talked about skateboarders in the i think it's the loss but one chap too and that spirit of a young people yeah marriage and willingness to try dangerous things devilish forward i wonder how that sits with the idea of a an earlier passage in the way you talk about the gratitude that we should feel for having time to read a book and the ability to read a book and respect for the establishments and systems of being out from which we all benefit in because when i find it difficult to dispute your opinion about of a journal ish what would have been in the next kind of the dice social social justice warriors and that kind of some wa rootless unresearched right i know what you're saying that can't keep their bedrooms he'd became before you let them organize an economic system by but but similarly like in where is change going to come from who are who is going to challenge tyranny.

"Well we've certainly got briefed on different possibilities and what i can say obviously in an unclassified setty is that it would be very dangerous for for us to take that route because at that point iran could go full speed in developing nuclear weapons and i'm fairly confident that given this administration's position and what i consider an anxiousness get into battles could i think possibly lead to conflict with iran i'd love to see that the us intelligence community assessment on the ramifications of all of this but quickly let me turn to the effort by the chairman of your committee devon nunez the intelligence committee to hold the attorney general of the united states jeff sessions in contempt do you think he'll succeed in that effort mike sense is that it won't succeed and that it won't go anywhere of course you made the point earlier which i thought was important that this probably wouldn't be happening unless the white house somehow gave its blessing to go around and somehow punish jeff sessions through the congress there are a lot of games that are being played by the white house and by devin unionize but i also think that it's remarkable in strange that devon union is who was the person complaining about unmasking is now asking the justice department afford over classified information that would reveal the identity of someone according to jeff sessions when when devin nunes was so concerned about unmasking but wolf you're putting me in a bad position here i really don't feel like defending jeff sessions or devenue nest but your experience of devon.
