"A. How you know, it is the first week of June and that means. We got to change things up last year. We did it on the first week of June. We took. Holiday or holiday which we were doing every day Oh. Yeah, and we realized it had been a full year as of the first week of June. So if we kept doing that segment, we would just be repeating the same way. So we moved that two Mondays shifting one day, which should have been the Sunday holidays that we missed from the previous year. Right? That makes sense yes. Then we adopted this new segment called this day in history. Right and now we've done a years worth of that Oh man. We need to shift this day in history into Monday holiday or holiday holiday holiday rather into Tuesday and then Wednesday Thursday and Friday of this week we will debut. Our new segment called either high death. Death takes a holiday or this day death I haven't decided. They're all good. They're all can't really live like high death eye death. So we'll be. We'll be debut in that on Wednesday soon as I figure out a title for it now the reason I've gone through that is Karen who is very smart. She's a doctor down there in San Diego? She's very aware of this shift, and she's a little nervous about it, so she called in Dr Karen. Hey Ralph Yoho Eddie. It's Karen in San. Diego just finished the cocktail. Happy Hour and I've been drinking, so I know we're not supposed to call when we've been drinking. I am so sorry. You're talking about moving forward with the daily I. Don't know what you call the holiday holiday this day in History Blah Blah and you're gonNA do this stand death, and that's all fine. That's exciting. I'm thrilled but I just really want you to be very cautious about how the leap year is going to affect these days and I called about this before and was completely ignored. I feel like Roland at this point. but I'm really a detail oriented person and I think you are too so just ask make sure it sounds like it's GonNa. Work out if you move holiday. Tuesday and the Stan history to Monday think it's going to be fine, but just. Just go back and kind of look over and make sure we're not repeating days, and that elite beer hasn't affected thing. To the extent that your plan isn't GonNa work all right. All right so much fun at the Happy Hour I love these. This is like my mic normal routine now is to just do this every Saturday, and it's really great. Keep it up above it. Okay Allenby by by. Listen. Listen, it takes everything. I had just shift a day. I can't go back in the counter because last year was a leap year or this year was a leap year. I forget which one was a leap this was. Was February the one that had I think we're the X ray this year so I'm sure changes things somehow, but here's the thing. I can't I just can't. I can't be bothered. Sounds like Brennan Robot If I end up repeating some shit. That's just the way it's going to have to be. It was a year ago. If I do repeat something either was a year ago, you should forgotten about it, too. I certainly have oh, I know edited. So let's just let's just. Assume this is our best case scenario, and just an for, and even if you bring up a repeat, holiday or day in history, we can take a different take on. It absolutely can do that. Let's just keep it simple. I can't do the math for what happens when there's a leap year, I simply can't i. don't have it in me I. Don't have the strength. So sorry Karen. We're just GONNA move ahead with the one keeping some. Yes, and don't call drunk. said that before, because that's what gave us this segment which? Leads us and for for example Chris. Our next caller called in very drunk from Florida and Chris. When you hear this phone, call. You'RE GONNA. Say I wish there was always lethal guarantee. Dot Garin De Years Chris has called drunk from Florida. Sarah. My name is Chris. I'm more one-star General. My Dad is a two star. General has embodied form for Christmas. And it is two thirty in the morning in Orlando and I just want to know your great. Listen to the whole show right now. I have a question for you. Okay? My question is this. You talk a lot about how you enjoy. Jack Daniels. Well, you like the honey Jack, Daniels. Do you like the Ri- Jack Daniels. Jackie O's is is is more than just the black number seven label Ralph all rights. The people want to know. Some people one. No. Eddie wants to hi Eddie Pay Four No. Way You like. The Gentleman Jacks just the Sinatra select. Is just the number seven? Do you like other jacking you like other kinds of whiskey? PEOPLE WANNA. Know while her I. Love you okay? All right bounce by. Wish. There was an lethal. Yeah, that's what happens when you call drunk Chris. I have for Christmas again this Christmas. I talked about this before. Yes, I enjoy all the Jack Daniels brand of products, I, particularly like the gentleman, Jack, that is my usual Goto. However, number seven of course was my introduction to the Jack Daniels family absolutely loved that the Sinatra select I'll busted out on a special occasion. The single barrel select as well. The only product that Jack Daniels makes it. I don't enjoy are the flavored. Bourbons or does not Bourbon the Kentucky Whiskey that they may not Tennessee. Tennessee whiskey that they make. We'll see bashing guy you that big a calendar last year with a little jazz advent calendar all the little samplers in there and I still have the samplers left over for the honey, Jack Daniels and the the the Cinnamon Jack Downloads that those now don't fuck, up Jack Seven. Seven seem rough to drink waivers in it. It's just now, but I enjoyed their Ri- I also like Irish Whiskey, a great deal, but there you go Chris and just just listen to that, and then look at yourself in the mirror and say what am I doing. What am I? Choice? What choices M I make okay? Amy called in with a where did come from? High Ralph that they made Four star general. Groom Jalbert Canada awarded come from. Why do people say oh, for Pete's sake? What does that come from I said the other day. It's like. Why why are we seeing it? WHO's peens? Why that name anyways bloody now lovey! I love you any all of you to something for a at the end there. Amy Excellent question. We're here to help. ME. Where to? Go. Ou- for Pete's sake Why do we say that I? Don't know well. It comes back till people not wanting to use the Lord's name in vain. People apparently started saying for Pete's sake instead of saying Oh for Christ's sake or oh, for God's sake right as early as nineteen, zero three, according to the Oxford English dictionary. But then some people by the way will use the occasional over Mike Sake or something like that, but it's almost. Always Pete why Pete? For Fuck Sake. That's my personal. Thing, but if you're trying to avoid using Jesus or God, you're probably not defaulting fuck. I would think. No Oh for Pete's sake. Why? Pete! Well, it makes perfect sense because if you're not gonna go to the big guy. Say God's sake and you're not GONNA go to his son and say Oh for Christ's sake. You'RE GONNA, go to the next guy down the chain. Poor Poor.

"Nfl asked a question which is tougher. A make a catch while guarded by Stefan Gilmore. A pass while being by Michael Thomas and all devante Parker said was a and you kind of know why he. He's faced up. St Stefan Gilmore twice over the last five seasons. He had a monster game against him last year. Obviously that's the only thing that he can truly talk. Speak on because it's the thing he does. And that triggered Michael Thomas as we know we see some of those other. You know bouts. He gets some of these other players. I Michael Thomas responded with for you yes go run some numbers up. Then you can talk. I laughed you. You've been in the league longer than me first round or any posted some emojis Responded with got some hard feelings their brother let me get target three hundred times a game and that again Michael Thomas who said in other words you week. They don't even put your name in the same sense as me remember that. And then he continued. He threw it out there. You still not going to do nothing. It took six years and seventeen weeks to have a good game. Get The out here. Blame your parents not know quarterback? All devante Parker said was quit crying. We will post this back and forth as we did on the inside of the other day but my first initial thoughts are man. We need football back in our life like. That's the tough thing here because you know Parker. Us maybe hey. He had a great game against the Fine Gilmore. He should be happy about that defensive player of the year. And you know. That wasn't even his best game of the season. I still think eagles game was really his coming out. Party at really showed what he can be at his best. And you know I'm not GonNa Defend Michael Thomas here but I think you don't become a top wide receiver in the Lee. I gotTA say Michael Thomas. The best rivals even NFL. I don't care how much he's targeted he. I you know. It's up for debate. But for me he's the best an order to become one of those best players. League. You don't you have this fiery attitude where you kind of are always you know think maybe people are out to get you. But trying to doubt you forget the haters. You know that type of mentality is how you really build that work of becoming one of the best players in the world. I'm in Tonio Brown before all that stuff happened. I mean he was the same way that everyone was kind of against it. So it's kind of a weird situation though where where you can't really you. WanNa defend Devante Parker but what I saw twitter. Doing what else kind of happy about is they were saying. Well of course and I think you're right there. Of course. Michael Thomas has had the better career but I mean Parker. Did nothing wrong with this. And for Thomas to Kinda come out and start ranting I mean it just. We need football back. You're one hundred percent ready yet and I think. The biggest thing here's consistency. If devante Parker throughout his first five seasons you know put up the same numbers they did last year. Then we have a conversation. I mean Michael Thomas like you said I think the Andre Hopkins is right up there with him. You proctor who Jones. There's some guys up there that I wouldn't even put Devante Parker in the same sentence with but again he ha. It's because he hasn't shown consistency. You're right that eagles game. He took that game over. You know there was a jets game. He took the game's over that game. Against Stefan Gilmore. He took that game. I mean that is what you want from wide receiver one from that those elite talent. And that's what we saw glimpses of last season so I think devante bars goes Michael. Thomas Absolutely not. I think some people twitter I think they truly believe that and I don't know that's a little crazy to me but it was nice to see dolphins twitter kind of come together and you know kind of call. Michael Thomas Out. Because he was being a little bit of a bully and it was for really no reason an devante parker just kind of laughed it off and I just can't believe it all stemmed from the word A. It's it's one of those things that you you have to talk about. Because I think all the national media outlets were discussing had dion sanders or Steve. Steve Smith on. Nfl Network talking about last night. We definitely football back. But it's going to be interesting to see how much this drives these players. I mean Michael Thomas Again. I think he says you know. Keep keep underrating me. It's like no one's underrating you. They already think you're the best wide receiver. Nfl Devante. Parker now is going to go out there and try to exceed expectations that we already had so. I think is a win win situation for the Miami Dolphins? I know a lot of people were you know why why's devante getting spewed like that. I mean all he did was say because he knows what. Stefan Gilmore is. He absolutely bullied the defensive player of the year. So there's no reason why devante Parker can't say that but I think it's crazy that out of nowhere Michael. Tom Thought that that was some kind of knock against him and again the biggest thing here is that we need football back in our life. Yeah like saying one thing harder than another doesn't mean the others hard. I mean I don't think you can really look at it as a huge way of discounting you know. It's a hard to get a million dollars. It doesn't mean it's easy to get nine hundred ninety nine thousand dollars. You know what I mean like. I think that's where the big thing comes in there. But I do WANNA talk about this receiving core Josh because I really feel that for the next year and whether it's you know one hundred percent my fault I think this this group is what we're GonNa really have under the microscope. The most and I started to see more people talk about it. When my first prediction of the fifty three roster it's almost as toughest mock draft sometimes the amount of fifty three man roster people you know put out especially this time of the year but you know this group. Outside of Parker who again we thought for one year. We need to see much much more but you know the way. He responded that you see him growing. It's weird devante Parker veteran on this team men. And that's something we really have to accept them Mannheim flies Jesus. But you look at this group at and what they're going to do with whether it's Patrick or whomever that quarterback at Ed you have to be a little intrigue but we really need to get this conversation going out of guys like Alad hearns. Can He may be come back and had this huge year with someone you know. If you WANNA compare divide they parking. To someone I feel like Allan Allan Robertson Zev right. Yeah on Robinson. I mean having him outside of Allen her and you think about the Jaguars Team I think. It was twenty sixteen. That made the playoffs. I mean Parker Robinson. I think you can kind of make that comparison with a lot alike so can allen hearns. Come back and have a big year. His Press Williams going to be healthy too keen grant. You think like people are talking about it on twitter. Today there are a lot of punt return options on this team. Juki grant struggled with catching the ball at times last year. You look at those. Josh Rosen highlights of that cowboys game and you see that even against the Patriots Albert Wilson. He took a pay cut and he's really rolling the dice here. In terms of the Dolphins GonNA use me as a premier player. Is this group. GonNa really be the what the dolphins need. And you know someone who is in product nearly enough and all this as Mike Seki not only is he catching balls that he's thrown to himself. I mean he's prime to have the season of his career in the Changli offense. That loves big guys you think about your psyche. Obviously they don't a daily offense doesn't use a tight end. You know hugging left tackle. They have a mountain to slap. Who called the fourth With most the fourth most yards. Excuse me out of the slap last year according to Pro Football Focus Mike Sake and then I had another statistic I believe of just how he could be actually time release statistic. Pf just went into the huge thing about how he is the one prime for this big year and I think it's really important. We start to talk about as being one of the stars. The faces of this Miami Dolphins offense moving forward out of that receiving core. I think it is Parker into Seki a one. A and one B for for this feeding or the food chain. The dolphins want go. Yeah it is one of the most you know uncertain situations on the roster because a lot of it has to do with. Can they repeat what they did last season? We saw a huge step up in like just sick. He's production because he was asked to block. I think he was. He stuck back blocked. The most is your with Adam Gates. I mean we saw him take the next step last season. We saw devante. Parker take the next step last season we Preston Williams on pace joke about it because I looked up. And I'm just GONNA keep saying he was on pace to Jerry Rice's rookie yard a Jerry Rice. But I just love the use that so. I think what's most fascinating? Here's a Albert Wilson. Took that pay cut and I think it was. The Miami Herald reported that the plan as of now. No course this could change over the next few weeks months you know based on how they perform preseason based on how they pick up this new fence Yada Yada Yada etc etc. Devante Parker impressed. The Williams will be those guys on the outside and then they expect Albert Wilson to be that slot receiver if you take a step back and look. What Wilson did before that injury? I mean that's exciting. You mentioned you Kim Grant. We have to see him. Finally take that next step and be worth that contract because we talked about it on one of our little book clubs that we did he was supposed to have similar numbers to Taylor. Gabriel because we crunched numbers and said you know what the contracts there I think I think he got outperformed by Taylor Gabriel. I think that's remained the thing that sticks out in my head that he's not even as good as Taylor. Gabriel right now. I know some of that has to injuries. Whatever the reason is but we need to see more education grant. We didn't even mention. Isaiah Ford who stepped up big towards the end of the year. I think it was the jets game when devante Parker went down. I afford showed flashes. And that's a guy that I think in the right offense. Young player can really exceed expectations. And then there's Malcolm pair he's listed as a wide receiver. No one truly knows where he's going to end up. You got other guys like Matt Collins. I is a Gary Jennings. I mean you can go through the dolphins list of wide receivers and some people say who the heck is that like I. I don't even that is but the dolphins have plenty of guys. We need to see. Take the next step this year and whether trying fitzpatrick like you said whether it's a ton of Iowa that is the expectation because the dolphins attacked the interior offensive and defensive lines this off season. I think a lot of people expect them to go hard after the offensive side and get some of those skill players next year. So we got to see who's going to be around long term. We found hers. Were that contract with Kim. Grants worth that contract. We thought Wilson's going to be here. There's a lot of question. Marks have been the dolphins receiving core but with question you know as much uncertainty as there is there if they can repeat and do some of the things that we've seen him do throughout the career..

"So I don't know I just felt guilty that I wasn't here when they died. There's this big part of me missing here and you felt like if I didn't come back for just disappear so I wouldn't and it's okay you know feels but with your mom when you moved in with your mom. Oh Yeah Yeah. Yeah of course. That was my Stepdad. Though so we weren't really that close. Sorry I didn't mean into the mowed down. Now it's okay. It's nice to talk to someone about this. Not a Lotta people see this part of me so they walk home after the little date and asked her if she wants to come over. She says that she has to work. He's award about tonight and she's like thank. You actually have to go beat up with Lucas. The guy from the night before they're supposed to be partnering on something She's trying to figure out if it's something she kinda wants to do so it's a little bit risky because it would be the biggest thing she's ever done and the biggest thing that ever happened her career and Mike Sake you know what should I be jealous. And she's like no. It's strictly work. I thought they were GONNA kiss. Just want them to kiss. I think we all thought they were GONNA kiss but I do that. They went this way. It also has little. Oh expected but I don't know I feel like if Mike feels like he has need to be jealous at this point it's fucked up for two reasons one because they've known each other for two days as to she is so clearly into him that if he's jealous over her meeting up with this man who might not even be into women but certainly certainly also partnering together because they needed to set it up they were like we only want couples. You think it's a PR building stunt. Maybe because I contact they need a couple you know at sometimes I feel like we do more work on these movies than they do. Yeah it's the rating. It goes on after the movie. I think that matters the most by the way I heard from one of the writers of one of the movies. I I saw that Jon Moss. It was nice. I don't know if he appreciated us but I I I'll say he accepted it. Yeah you know. He accepted us as a reality and I think John Might Not Know is that I am in fact his biggest fan like I don't do this for any any reason other than I fucking love it and now I get to make some money from it but like I'm not living off. Mother may have CPA podcast. I told the call the other day I watch as many any of these movies as I can without not wanting to do my podcast anymore. Like I've truly love. I love this form. Okay I took this Zahn ending. I'd do fifteen episodes Jon Moss but here we are how many movies of his heavy done just the one. Oh and I will. I'll say he did not understand my jokes about our underground day which is fine. We can't all be cultured. You know what I mean. But John Moss did no. I'm I'm kidding. Jomaa says I'm afraid now he wouldn't know that that's a joke dude. There's no way you're listening to this. You already have said that you think this whole task is absurd which you're right they No offense I I do this from my uterus. I fucking love this this genre okay. I'm here for it and the biggest supporter out. Their lifetime is on the bit. It's all good on the bet together. Let's need the bit together and fucking raise it in a bowl for an hour hour and let that yeast hit. And then we'll get a fucking bake it and it's GonNa be a loaf of love family and cheer. Okay okay. So they're like GonNa make this date happen. He tells her that for what it's worth. He personally think she should do it. She lights up when she talks about it and she. He shouldn't overthinking taking risks every now and then can pay off. I was surprised but that was his. Pov I thought that he was immediately going to try. And like knock doc the paycheck out of her hand controlling men do but he did it. He Leans into kiss her and she curbs them. She's like listen. I like to take things slow. He's a I can wait and she's like thank you and they wish each other. Good night now. This is important. Big Time Thirty seven twenty three to thirty eight twenty twenty two guys remember. Lucas doesn't drink and everyone should know that. Okay how dare you offer him a drink. Bistro five harvests is pace. You have to figure out if you can even fit in that suit they give you. I mean it's ridiculous. Save this big helmet thing. I'll do it are you serious. Yep that's so great. How'd you decide? Well I listed all the pros and cons like five thousand times of course and then. I thought screw. Screw it through the list out of metaphorical window point. I just realized that if I WANNA take my career seriously then I have to put myself out there her. I want to get involved in causes and products that actually believe in and use my platform that I'm so lucky to even have aww can't be afraid of success. I can say any better than that. We celebrate his point. I can I skipped it. took us a champagne please. Thank you didn't drink once not gonNA kill me right. He should've orbits commits to all men's no. Celebrate the age to deal with summation comment. I'm going to say I wonder if he was sober and now he was drinking or was is it like a fit thing. Maybe he's on hold thirty diet and he doesn't drink exactly exactly lake because he expected everyone to know like you looked at meg in lake. She was absurd word for offering him a beer at a party. And then if we all walk into adult parties and they're like do you want a water like no. No you offer someone a drink at a party but the way he looked his acting choice was like is this woman fucking absurd to offering a drink and then he's giving me some Coke Energy Reggie at the top of the scene and unlike is he one of those sober alcoholics who doesn't drink but will absolutely rail lines or maybe he got on Brad oral or maybe Eh. Maybe that's how he stayed there. Champion Mu will. Yeah and you know. He's an influence there. So that's a long molly at age. Nine move he's a Falcon riddling coming out of his brain and his butterfly chair. Okay so cloaked. Figure looks the two of them drinking. And it's very a it's very pretty little eire's and making an instagram story. Talking about how they exciting news coming up in. Everyone's GonNa Love Whitney just as much as Lucas does. So Whitney lands that on on his story which is great and we finally find out what her handle. Is Love Whitney Ono. We've known that no I seen. It's yeah we've not. I was Whitney Kidney Big Fan as the bad guy. Love Whitney is her name. I didn't know it was till that's that's when I wrote a minutes. Oh honey I've been even looked it up on instagram into invalid twitter so so lifetime took the one down. I always wonder like how do they pick the handle and we made two broke girls. We literally dreamed up what the girls is. INSTAGRAM handles would be if they were real and then saved them a so like it like these hypothetical names of the characters could have that never made it in the show we. We went and save the instagram. I'm a big save. The instagram move later. Type of person thought it smelled them we personalities into his face and we see that. It's Mike No we don't we do know we don't go back yes we go back yes we do. We see we see. It's Mike No. We don't because is when we go home Whitney no go back. And you'll see the hooded characters. Mike Okay well. We don't really do that on the show. Okay well it's my let's go back okay. Well Okay it's Mike they show. UCS face because I was like Oh leave all listen Sammy I think this is good for us. Let's go back. Let's let's review the play. Okay all right. We'll do it in a rare move. We're going to go back right there. Look at you know you don't that's like a were. You didn't know for five years. who was stalking these girls? You See. It's him no you do. Not and you that yes you you look. Maybe I was watching on my big. TV You see him. You see the guy's lying or if she thinks poor Sammy Vena you see him all right. Fine Yeah you can see. It's him fine him. I'm just saying that's when most of us don't watch our TV shows for work on an iphone phone in the bathtub. Okay sorry I don't have my eyes on the screen during all the notes drafts. I missed a shot. You should need to be watching on like four K. Five K.. I have TV's. I just don't like them because they're too far from my face or you like my nephew who's literally on his ipad instead of his TV. Yes guy literally sit across from Lake A fucking four thousand dollar television every night and watch the TV on my laptop. I'm an indoor kid and I just like it that way okay so personality man I need it and I'm also a little blind lake. Don't make fun of my disability. I have three point seven five and one. That's really dark. I wear glasses or any of that. Means so Whitney is sleeping when she gets a message a massage. I almost wrote from Whitney big begging her to unblock her. He's saying that he's outside. He's coming coming upstairs. He's here if she's okay..

I just can't believe that you couldn't pony pony up for the wombat replica for me and because it's just my giant head you couldn't even get mustard colored parachute short yes from rumble from the EPA uh-huh okay. I know you say you said tag team and it just made me sorely unhappy that Josh and I were ships in the night when it came to the royal rumble which is maybe maybe at the at the time that people are talking. That's another podcast. That's another podcast. That's from last week's Robin. Akiva need a podcast yeah. This is survivor lost to right. You're right. We most recently all recorded together on the brand steel simulation of of the season one of lost. Look put all that nonsense aside because this is. This is the main event we are. We are back talking about real. Will you say survivor coming up here. In just a matter of weeks. Jussia perhaps the most truncated preseason of all town certainly since I've been covering survivor as a reporter this is by far and away the shortest preseason and we're GONNA do the people in my mentions. Stop asking me about it. I told you once I'll tell you again. Donut me. Ah The decisions that are far above my pay grade but we're here. It's happening. It's real and I'm so delighted for for this this one for a number of reasons but primarily the primary reason has really nothing to do with survivor the season itself but the fact that I had a very exciting exceptional special co-pilot along the ride with me for this preseason and that was mixmaster. Mike himself making making his survivor preseason debut out there for Parade magazine and I am a proud papa bear of this order becoming a man at thirty nine. Yes yes Oh my God Mike. I'm just so thrilled to finally be able to talk about our adventure venture together. Yes so I mentioned this briefly. When we doted on survivor allender the idols at the end of edge of extinction when there was that thirty second promo during the reunion that made people who were saying what the heck is going on. Maybe add an exclamation point to the end of that question mark based on what was shown and Josh and I were able to go out there to Fiji to cover the pre season of survivor thirty nine my very first time going out there and and I mean I will say with no ounce of Sardonic mean whatsoever that it might have been one of the best experiences of my life. We're going to touch upon you know all the stuff that we got to do there. Were some really opportune moments. I think we've got to take advantage of over the course of this season in particular that makes it a bit different different from other seasons that Josh has been out of you know in the past but I mean I also couldn't have done it without this guy. We have many for gene honeymoon photos together uncomfortable get posted now that the embargo lifted but it has the embargo lifted on the secret texts that must have been exchanged between our respective lives who were serious with US reporting it up in Fiji especially as Angelo was very close to bringing asher bloom into the universe yeah. It's it's been such a long offseason at least in my pain especially sitting on misinformation for nearing six months of this point. I mean maybe it's because my son was born two weeks before edge of extinction and did but I don't know it seems like the past several months and not just because because of the truncated preseason but it's felt very long to me. I don't know if you guys feel the same way. Is that a real that your wife's text is. There is a little bit of correspondent. There was some while there's a different time schedule. I think we were trying to you know remain as much out of the Doghouse as the war your dog houses possibly be about dog house yeah but for the fact of the matter is you know we were across the world doing some pretty ridiculous things in Fiji Asia able to you know talk about it and talk about the fact that we were doing absolutely silly things together. We're going to be talking about over the we were cast roommates. We shared a room. We slumbered into Hot Fijian nights together. We had we had lots of lots of toxin and planning sessions and strategy sessions just great bonding moments that occurred between Mike Bloom before lost down. The hatch was even a twinkle in our collective active. I at that point Mike but you can we we've been on a great journey together this year and much of it blossomed and began here. You're on the island of the idols so it is it is our great pleasure to finally open the doors to this secret place and finally talk about it a little bit so let's set up what we're going to do here today. So Josh Mike have been out to Fiji. They were on location. They learned everything I myself. This is how I operate. I put my head in the sand. I try to learn as little as possible about future survivor seasons where wherever I can could help it because for me then it keeps it fresh as we go through it in the real time and so what we've done here today is. I'm in the blackout route. I have not followed anything survivor this morning and so I am going to learn and react to whatever Josh and my don't lie to me. Don't tell me like fake things. That aren't true. It's alive with you know don't do for that but I then I will get to react to the things that you were going to tell me and the listeners about this new season of survivor. I like okay. That sounds really fun and there's certainly a lot as well. Josh and I have come up together. it's a lot yeah seven things that we learned while going on set set for survivor island of the idol of it deals with the titular island itself some with Boston. Robin Sandra some with the cast Cetera so there's a lot to experience over the course of that week we we are in Fiji together and I'm happy to finally get into it as Joshua's alluded to yeah. Here's what I know. We have rob and Sandra are going to be there. I've been seen commercials for that and they're going to be coaches of players. That's that's from what I understand. That's the that's all I've got island. I think we you can start there and elaborate. I think is going to be easy enough to do and I will just begin by being a shameless and I will come out and say T- CHR DOT com slash survivor to plug my stuff and Mike. Where can people find your beautiful articles that you're writing about this season season parade dot com slash tag slash survivor and I'm also trying to come up with a hug page I think for everything island of the idols related because as we're GONNA be talking about near the end of this podcast? There's GonNa be a lot of coverage coming out from both our ways over the course of the these two plus weeks Saturday night articles really as as close for Mike Sake. That is pretty darn. Close the truth away from the number. You know I might give you the closest without going over here. You're you're you're still young and spry enough to to put out a volume that I will never be able to approach again. I can't wait to read it. I'm very loud so that volume does make sense okay all right. So what is number one. What is the number one on the list of the seven things. WE'RE GONNA learn here today. In this podcast well well. Let's start with as you guys mentioned what I think the survivor audience conventionally new or found out about island of the idols as of the end of May Boston Boston Rob Sandra twine are back sort of they're not playing the game and I cannot say this enough right Boston. Austin Robbins Sandra will not enter the game. They will not become players. This is not a big brother. Fourteen situation says it they're going to be serving as advisers for the entirety of the season living out there on the titular island of the idols and we'll get into you know what what exactly they're going to do in a little bit but I also want to mention that as well you know. Josh put up a great interview with Robin Sandra that we had the opportunity to go visit the idols yeah. which was I mean Josh? You can talk to your first reaction to this but this was a biggles shocker for me at least when we found out this was happening. Oh yeah no hugely really surprised you know one of the things that I was going to do when I got out there was I was gonNA. I was GONNA come to Jeff. PROBST and Matt Van wagged in with like a list of suggestions like all right. You guys need themes. I got themes the themes he wants themes AB- slinging themes at a discount and a free free of charge charge just ideas take them have them get away with extinction and start coming up with some things that you can do if you need ideas and I'm nowhere even in the realm of the vicinity of the closest approximation of the center of the list that I have anything resembling Boston Robin Sandra Diaz twine and their gigantic fricken head statues were secretly inhabiting an island that everybody would be going out to visit visit so when when I learned this information I did a lot of like the wand off caliber laughter directly Jeff Jeff probst space as I was. I was finding out this information for the first time because I was just I was astonished. I was shocked I was tickled by it and it was presented to me as basically like a sentient ghost island right like ghost island hinged on this this library of artifacts this like a haunted museum museum a spooky playground. Ghost in evolution strategy also yet to be net seriously really. Do we have any we've ever had goes to Sandra. We did not we did not have Sanchez goes. We did have Boston Rob's ghost. We had Boston Guide as well if I call and both of these things have kind of come true he did. This less predicted it. This is another action. That's like the simpsons wins. Did it of audio because if you record for three hundred hours you're bound to today. I want to circle back to what you said about Robin Sandra AH coaches they will not be players because and you you sound adamant about this which puts me at ease because that's my biggest concern going into this this because I remember big brother fourteen very well we just revisited with Dalton Ross's oral history of dance funeral. Josh doesn't know what any of this this is. Josh back in big brother fourteen what happened was there were coaches in big brother fourteen and it was..

"This is anyone that's worked in. A corporation knows that she she got an h._r. File and if at some point they wanna fire you with 'cause as opposed to without cause go to that file and they say well you you did this. You did this. You did this. You were warned on this instance. You're warned on this instance and now we can wipe our hands clean of you. Antonio brown's contract with the raiders at three year contract. The first two years are fully guaranteed the only way to sever that prior to year three and not still owe him all the money for four year two is if they say conduct detrimental to the club no show no call those types of things we can get out of that money. I'm not saying chris the raiders leaders right now want to get out of that money but they are starting to create an escape hatch based on antonio's own actions so if they do want to get out of the money they can go back to things like this and say you did this to yourself and he actually helped the raiders by posting this online he didn't need to do this. This could have been a private matter now. Everyone knows. I don't know i've been very patient. You guys know this preseason with anyone. Who's at any issues but i mean enough is enough already with antonio brown. This season hasn't started yet. You chopin a hot air balloon. You really miss almost all u._s. All of preseason you barely make it to any practices. You've got an issue with the helmet to grievances filed. We mean in cryotherapy can work on your feet and now this. I just feel like if i'm frustrated. The raiders have to be frustrated again. He hasn't even taken the field yet. Well the thing about this is mike and mike me up because mike mike he he laid the hammer down. Now i know that jon gruden has the ten year deal and he personally went out and found me mike and mike sake this is one of the things is disturbing to me because he's a guy that had a job like i've had he played a little bit of pro ball but he's covered this game and he's more than qualified to be a general manager and when these coaches and owners go outside the box as far as hiring jenner manage him him and john lynch john lynch there in san francisco. I'm cheering for these guys just like i was cheering for matt millen when he got the job in detroit the reason reason why it creates tremendous opportunity for people in the business because i believe that old school approach it's olden day and you can be a general no manager by different routes in the the avenues that they've looked at so i'm glad he laid the hammer down. This is something i've talked younger players since they came into the league because they don't know this. They don't understand the h._r. Department they don't understand that at one point. It's going to be you against the team and every n._f._l. Team from the time when you walk in their locker room they create a foul for you want on the football business side and one on the medical side. I used to tell kids if you go onto the training room and ask them for two aspirin. They are going to write it down and start to build a file so later on they say we treated you the appropriate appropriate way and it's the same way on the field or with discipline and that's what may did yesterday he let antonio because of the collective bargaining agreement because because of the team rules all those things. I'm going to be able to get out of this deal a._b. I said this he's going to be an oakland two years. He won't finish their. He's gonna on a beach traveling around the n._f._l..

"Do you have a plan for that? That is all part of the exclusive Fullerton, four point checkup. So that's we're talking about having an actual plan a written plan in place for you and your spouse, if you're married, and that's we're gonna talk about right now. Stephanie, I think it's always an interesting dynamic in that I think, when Steve Steve junior, go hunting. My guess is you don't go with them. Hey, you better believe it. There's no way. No way. Well, the good thing is, you've never been caught it down in a canyon, and it had to send helicopters out to save you know, but my son has. All worked out well. Show another topic exactly. So what I'm saying, though is that when people come in and sit down with you. Maybe they're on the same page. I'm talking husband and wife. Right. We've got a couple become in excited about retirement, and they can't wait to go travel, and take the river cruise in Germany, or whatever it is that they dream of doing getting the RV and traveling the country, whatever it is. They're on the same page. How often do the couples that come in and sit down with you? Are they all in on the same page or sometimes one wants to travel the other wants to go play golf and say, well, enjoy your trip, Honey? I'm gonna go play off. I'll see you. When you get back. Well, I tell you, I, I don't know the really the percent but I will I will say it's probably pretty high that, that there's typically two different thoughts about retirement. I mean, even for Stephen, I even though retirement is many years out. We look at retirement different. I mean, we have common goals, we want to travel, you know, we both love given to the community and. Riveria charity minded. But I also know this, my husband in retirement, he will find great enjoyment in fishing. Now, I don't get fishing. I don't understand how my husband and my son can go fishing all day long in a boat. Not say a word to each other maybe catch something maybe not. But they're thinking, why does go sit on the beach? What, what does she accomplish? Exactly. Yeah. No, you're right. My husband doesn't understand how I can go shopping and find it enjoyable just looking at things like that. It's just so boring. Get in get what you want and get out, and I'm kind of the same with it comes to fishing. I remember I had a couple come in one day in there preparing for retirement, and as we were making a list of all their assets, and all of their different types of properties and things of that nature. I remember them talking about. They had had this house that would have been given. Into them from a parent. You know, they hit inherited in it was back east and I remember the look on the wife's face. When the husband said to her retirement, what, what I like to do is, I think we're gonna go back and we'll spend half the summer there. And we'll spend the winners here in what we're gonna do is we're gonna fix this house up, and they had like a little lake and we're gonna, I'm gonna, you know, fish bring grandkids back there. I remember the unwise face like actually actually dropping and she goes you've ever even talked to me about this. Like I was under the assumption that we would fix it up. We would sell it. You know, I don't want to spend my summers back in that hot, humid, mosquito type of weather I read to go on the west coast, where our grandkids live and spend time with them there, and there was such a disconnect, and, you know, Mark, I will often say, well, okay, should I step out for a few minutes because I'm not a counselor you know, but that's my job, not a counselor. But my job is. To sit and listen. Okay. Here are the things that, you know, my clients are potential clients are saying that they what where do we find the happy medium, and then we begin to plan for it, and, you know, the one thing that I really recommend against is waiting until retirement, and then trying to figure out what you're going to do and what it looks like I recommend that you begin sitting down with someone like ourselves five six seven ten years out of possible. It's never too early. It's never too late. And really make sure you're on the same page. See for this couple. Really the solution was okay if he truly wants to go back east and spend a couple months back there do that. But maybe not live there like he thought he wanted to do, so there was some compromise that needed to happen. But it was good that they wait until retirement of figure out, they were on two different pages. You know, I was able to help them kind of get on the same page. H with some common goals, eight hundred nine four seven ninety five twenty two. He likes our Stephanie, and the team at Fullerton financial to talk about what your how are you going to spend think of this? If you have fifty two weeks in a year and you get a two week vacation, hopefully you get four, but for math purposes for Mike sake, we're gonna say you get two weeks vacation. So that's fifty weeks forty hours a week. That's two thousand hours you have to replace with what you're going to do in retirement. You're not going to work anymore. So what are you going to do with those two thousand new hours you have, and you've got to create something to do in their Stephanie, and the team have been helping people for an awful long time started the company in two thousand four. So they've heard all the stories they know, and every once in a while, there'll be a new story for sure. But a lot of times are pretty similar situations. So Stephanie, and the team have the experience to help guide you when it comes to this point, eight hundred nine four seven ninety five twenty two to sit down and chat. Here's what we're thinking about doing what do you think about this? Stephanie, we'd like to do this and so forth. And you basically worked together the formulate your retirement plan. Great opportunity for you again. There's no cost, no obligation. It's eight hundred nine four seven ninety five twenty two seventy Fullerton. It is the president and founder of financial planning started the company in two thousand and four on Mark, Elliot. And we're talking today about your retirement plan. And I do think it's interesting. Stephanie, for example, if you have a stay at home mom, which is getting rare today that it used to be certainly when we grew up, we a lot of cases had a stay at home, mom. But you think of the stay at home because I had some friends of mine that their parents when they retired seem like all they did was fight for the first month or two because the wife was like, why are you here in the kitchen? You've never been in the kitchen, now, you're bothering he was like. Yes, I get. I remember when Steve retired, and he came to work with me here at Fullerton financial which was a long time ago. But we became partners here at Fullerton financial, Mark. I remember I wasn't used to him being around me. He worked for the city of Phoenix was a police officer. He was gone fifty sixty hours a week. And remember the, the first couple months that he was. He was retired like it'd be like, where are you going? And I'm like to the bathroom, like it's okay, you know, it we had to make adjustments. I mean think about it. I mean we spend most of our lives married, but a way working or whatever you've been doing, and then all of a sudden retirement comes and your together twenty four seven you better be ready for that. Because there's a big change. Let me tell you what I wanted to for our listeners today for the next ten callers. I would love to have the opportunity are one of my team members to customize a retirement strategy plan. For you, as you go into retirement. We'll take a look at what you feel your expenses are going to be. We'll talk about that bucket list. We'll talk about your dreams and what's important. Maybe that one or two trips that you really want to take, but you're not sure you can why don't.

I think when Steve Steve junior go hunting, my guess is you don't go with him. Hey, you better believe there's no way. No way. Well, the good thing is you've never been. Caught down in a canyon, and it had sent helicopters out to save, you know, but my son has. All worked out. Well. Show another topic. Exactly. So what I'm saying though, is that when people come in and sit down with you, maybe they're on the same page. I'm talking husband a wife, right? We've got a couple become in excited about retirement, and they can't wait to go travel and take the river cruise in Germany, or whatever it is that they dream of doing getting the RV and traveling the country, whatever it is they're on the same page. How often do the couples that come in and sit down with you are they all in on the same page or sometimes one wants to travel. The other wants to go play golf and say well, enjoy your trip. Honey, I'm gonna go play off. I'll see you when you get back. Well, I tell you that I don't know the really the percent. But I will I will say it's probably pretty high that that there's typically two different thoughts about retirement. I mean, even for Stephen, I even though retirement is many years out. We look at retirement different. I mean, we have common goals we want to travel. You know, we both love given to the community and. Riveria charity minded, but I also know this my husband in retirement, he will find great enjoyment in fishing now. I don't get fishing. I don't understand how my husband and my son can go fishing all day long in a boat. Not say a word to each other. Maybe catch something maybe not. But they're thinking why does this go sit on the beach? What what does she accomplish? Exactly. Yeah. No. You're right it. My husband doesn't understand how I can go shopping and find it enjoyable just looking at things like that is just so boring. Get in get what you want and get out, and I'm kinda the same with it comes to fishing. I remember I had a couple come in one day in there preparing for retirement, and as we were making a list of all their assets and all of their different types of properties and things of that nature. I remember them talking about they had had this house that we have been given. Into them from a parent. You know, they hit inherited and it was back east. And I remember the look on the wife's face when the husband said to her. Yeah. In retirement. What what I like to do is? I think we're gonna go back and we'll spend half the summer there. Spend the winters here in what we're gonna do is we're gonna fix this house up and had like a little lake, and we're gonna to fish bring grandkids back there. I remember the unwise face like actually actually dropping, and she goes you've never even talked to me about this. Like, I was under the assumption that we would fix it up. We would sell it. You know? I don't want to spend my summers back in that hot, humid. Mosquito type of weather. I rather go on the west coast where grandkids live and spend time with them there. And it was such a disconnect, and you know, Mark, I will often say, well, okay. Should I step out for a few minutes because I'm not a counselor? You know, but that's my job not a counselor. But my job is. Sit at listen. Okay. Here are the things that you know, my clients are potential clients saying that they what where do we find the happy medium? And then we begin to plan for it. And you know, the one thing that I really recommend against is waiting until retirement. And then trying to figure out what you're gonna do. And what it looks like I recommend that you begin sitting down with someone like ourselves five six seven ten years out of possible. It's never too early. It's never too late. And really make sure you're on the same page see for this couple really the solution was okay. If he truly wants to go back east and spend a couple months back there do that. But maybe not live there. Like he thought he wanted to do. So there was some compromise that needed to happen. But it was good that they did wait until retirement of fair out that they were on two different pages. Know, I was able to help them kind of get on the same page. Age with some common goals hundred nine four seven ninety five twenty two if he likes our Stephanie and the team at Fullerton financial to talk about what your how are you going to spend think of this? If you have fifty two weeks in a year, and you get a two week vacation, hopefully, get four, but for math purposes for Mike sake. We're gonna say you get two weeks vacation. So that's fifty weeks forty hours a week. That's two thousand hours you have to replace with what you're going to do in retirement, you're not going to work anymore. So what are you gonna do? With those two thousand new hours you have and you've got to create something to do in their Stephanie and the team have been helping people for an awful long time started the company in two thousand four so they've heard all the stories they know and every once in a while there'll be a new story for sure, but a lot of times are pretty similar situations. So Stephanie and the team have the experience to help guide you when it comes to this point eight hundred nine four seven ninety five twenty two to sit down and chat. Here's what we're thinking about doing. What do you think about this Stephanie we'd like to do this and so forth? You basically worked together the formulate your retirement plan great opportunity for you again. There's no. Obligation. It's eight hundred nine four seven ninety five twenty two seventy Fullerton is the president and founder of Overton financial planning started the company in two thousand and four. I'm Mark Elliott. And we're talking today about your retirement plan. And I do think it's interesting Stephanie, for example, if you have a stay at home mom, which is getting rare today that it used to be certainly when we grew up. We a lot of cases had a stay at home. Mom, but you think of the stay at home 'cause I had some friends of mine that their parents when they retired seem like all they did was fight for the first month or two because the wife was like, why are you here in the kitchen? You've never been in the kitchen now you're bothering I mean, he was like. Yes, I get. I remember when Steve retired. And he came to work with me here at Fullerton financial, which was a long time ago. But we became you know, partners here at Fullerton, financial, Mark. I remember I wasn't used to him being around me. He worked for the city of Phoenix was a police officer. He was gone fifty sixty hours a week. And I remember the first couple months that he was he was retired. Like, it'd be like where are you going, and I'm like to the bathroom like, it's okay. You know, and we had to make just knits. I mean think about it. I mean, we spend most of our lives, Mary, but a way working or whatever you've been doing. And then all of a sudden retirement comes and your together twenty four seven you'd better be ready for that. Because there's a big change. Let me tell you what I wanted to for our listeners today for the next ten callers. I would love to have the opportunity are one of my team members to customize every Tirmizi strategy plan. For you. As you go into retirement. We'll take a look at what you feel your expenses are going to be. We'll talk about that bucket list. We'll talk about your dreams and what's important. Maybe that one or two trips that you really want to take. But you're not sure you can why don't.

"They haven't they haven't they haven't helped them to bring another caller on. And that's rob rob you're on morning. Thank you comment and question, the comment is that this seems like a person with ADHD worst nightmare. It's like a factory floor. And the question is has this been studied another country, you know, Mike, sake, Japan or other cultures where you know, the business philosophy might be different. How it works? Over there. Can you help us on this? I know that there's been a loss of studies in the UK. And in the UK dancers have pretty much the same in Europe. I don't know about Japan. That's a really interesting point. If you have a workplace in which people are encouraged to think about that teams in that company in a different way in a maybe less individualistic way. Perhaps that I've been found office is more palatable. It's a it's a radio interesting point any thoughts from you on this or. Shed any light an agenda pug McLaren. Yes, we've been actually studying than in a wide array of of countries, including the US Asia, we just completed one in Germany, and in Germany in particular, which was the birthplace of open plant. We actually have found that that it's very prevalent to have shared offenses, and we actually found that those were even less effective than open plan here in the United States, which was an interesting finding. So we have found that as we've been studying looking at this globally that open plan can be just as effective as as a of offense if you really saw for some key criteria. And and so if you're if you're able to focus on, you know, what really matters most any face can be equally effective. I want to read some comments that are coming in. I asked listeners. Feelings about living with an open office. And Jay writes, I spent most of my life to work in open offices. I ended up spending hours completing my work after everyone else left or. Or went home without pay. And Jennifer says I've worked in tech for many years officers became cubicles, and they became smaller cubicles then open floor plans. That's when I decided working from home was the full-time solution for me and cat says one dealer asks how does one deal with the social discomfort of a co worker that makes very unpleasant noises all day long, some thoughts from you. Elaine more. I mean headphones, I guess is the nuance of bows. The had cancelling headphones. Yeah. People with colds might offices down with a cold right now. It's it's tricky. And then I like walking from high am I I like being around my colleagues. I just I just wish that I was the best way to have a mixture of talking to them and seeing them and interacting and then having some quiet time and space. I get Elaine more is deputy editor of the lex column with the financial times. And our next caller is Alexis good morning. Hi, thank you for taking my call. I feel the shrinking of the workspaces kind of a metaphor for the shrinking of the value of the American employees, and they can play probably more likely. I I also think that with the kind of astronomical profits and valuations of these companies, I think you said we worked as a fifty billion. I think apple exceeded a trillion. I don't know what Microsoft, but it's it's almost like in proportion to how much money making and being valued at versus how they're cutting employees than it seems to me the architecture is kind of in the direction of creating contract work that you've got fifteen minutes, you know, cycles that workers do like someone said in the factory, and I don't even understand. How brokers are the evaluated? Their people just constantly clocking in clocking out. There's so many. Questions. But ultimately, it just seems like it's devaluing the person the individual space people need to people social and have regrouped time or thinking time, and you know, just be evaluated. The human being rather than someone who can get their speed. That's gone time. Alexis. Alexa, raising a couple of very important points. I'd like to go to view on us, Nicole Savall. I mean, globalization has played an immense role in this whole picture that we're talking about. But also this idea of contract work. Yeah. I think I was very brilliant point that the caller date. I mean one regarding the kind of relationship between architecture and. And and power in the workplace and contract work is interesting. I mean, it's it's it's one of these things it's very hard to study into discern been a lot of claims about its increase freelancing, increasing general in in the workplace in the kind of statistics have been equivocal about this. I think the bureau of labor statistics recently did a study in the increase was not quite as great if I recall correctly, as as was thought to be that said there is a kind of creeping I would say other kind of self employed mindset into into workers in in in American companies in particular at the top in. Yeah. That's true in other countries as well where? You know, it's it's their ways in which you are constantly sort of expected to act as if you're a contract worker any your job protection in the US or very minimal. I mean to an extent company can determine when you go to the bathroom. And when you don't I mean that does happen Amazon warehouses, and that's technically possible with white convert places as well. So there are ways in which you you kind of are. You're the distinction between the contract worker and salaried worker is essentially, you know, benefits and stability the paycheck. But there are other ways in which the resemblances are very strong. And in fact, you can be severed at any minute. You know, makes it makes it quite quite scary in a way to to be an American worker in an office. Again, the kill Savell is editor of an plus one magazine and author of cube the secret history of the workplace, let me go to more of your calls. Let me think Alexis for that. Call and go next to Sarah, Sarah, join us, welcome. Hi, I was part of a focus group at UC Berkeley. And it was mostly students between ages eighteen and maybe recently thirty five maybe a generational thing. But they had us all design our own offices. They didn't tell us anything about cost or any parameters. And both of us have designed something that had an open office format, but some people had, you know, certain concerns like well you wanted to supervise supervisors behind closed doors because we don't want them like spying on us or looking at us all the time or we had you know, there was like the Chinese international student. My group is that what we want the important clients to come to a secret corridor. We don't want everyone to see him coming and going and having these important eating, but or someone like me who has chronic back pain said, Well, I I don't mind an open office or having a hot as long standing, desks. That's onomic. So if you just people and have them designed something most likely there's going to be an open office. This format with some room for privacy when neither but also it's a generational thing. I think younger people are already used to working libraries, and you know, in a student environment where you don't have that much privacy to begin with. Now, they're more condition. Probably the millennials, Sarah. Thank you for that. Call good to hear from you. And here's marina who writes fifteen plus years and close offices. I'm at a new company and really enjoy the open office plan. It's easy to find anyone. I need to talk to and I made good relationships with people from other departments all of us. Spend a good amount of time working on project teams. We have small privacy rooms for personal phone calls or conference calls. I vote. Yes. For open offices. And I'm a lifelong ADD type person to boot. Just a quick reminder that. We are talking about open office plans, and we're talking with Elaine more Janet poke MacLaurin and Becky Savell, Nicole Savell, excuse me. And we'll go to more your calls here. I want to read a comment from Christopher though says in the nineteen forties. An entrepreneur named Carl Braun did a study on his drafts. People by moving them. From open offices to private offices are productivity went up by thirty five percent. He estimated increase costs by two to three percent of the total cost of employees. So we're getting some relative positive things about open office. This is a fundraising period for public radio. For more information about how to support cake, you ED go cake dot org. I'm Michael Krasny. And we'll go to another caller. And that's you Deborah. Thanks for waiting. Join us. Right. I just wanted to mention the type of employee that is an administrative assistant. You're not working on necessarily your own project, but you're constantly being interrupted and helping others or maybe trying to focus on or. Expense reports or something can't really wear headphones. Always on just wanted to somebody wanted to come into vet that wasn't. That's true. There are certainly some jobs where it would be very difficult to be in a private office. But equally you're at the mercy of of the wash aspects of a of an open plan office. And I think an admin assistant is one of those jobs, especially I think it's really hard to know what the answer is. I I'm really fascinated by this idea that the students at Stanford when given free rein to design an office all came up with open plan offices. We don't seem to have any any of them are in the tech pipeline. Maybe we're just so used to it. Now, economizing anything different. I'll let me thank the caller and go to another caller. And that's how came good morning. Hi, hi, good morning. Thanks for taking my call. I'd like to make a comment about the original hot desk open office space, which would be I that Sarah mentioned is to call to goes to the library. I think college students grow up into a system where for four years they're used to studying in open four-pack, but every single day they're vying for the limited private study rooms that are available so much. So to the point my mater UC Santa Barbara they have an online booking system for these private study rooms, and I'm interested in what Janet would have to say coming from the professional background in architecture. How do college students transition into the workplace and how do their sentiments change once they're working in a corporate environment? Do they still have that same propensity to work the private workspace? Even when there's ample open floor plan available. Good question. How can thank you for McLaren. Yeah. It's it's a great question because we've been studying how students are learning at the university level, and they're used to having a lot of different variety and choice around where they're studying how they're going to meet with teams, you know with. Classrooms. They use the entire university as their workspace. And we're seeing that carryover into the professional work environment that they really value having a multitude of spaces and the technology to go with it. And we just completed another study that we haven't released yet. But we found that once again back to a previous callers kind of hypothesis that most employers employees do want that open collaborative workspace. But we are seeing since like nuances between generations and even men versus women on exactly what that looks like in practice..

"You're always open for tours. We have some tours not only virtually online, but then you can come the greenfield any day of the week and come up to seat Aberg and see what we have loved ones in cedar told you about that. So let's get started property taxes. Did yours go up or down and in what community do you live? The phone number is seven nine nine eleven thirty Dennis's in Waukesha. All right. Dennis good morning. Your first up. He's he's looking for his Bill. I can hear Dennis Dennis with us Waukesha. Dennis come back to Dennis. Hey, spencer. I can hear him. I mean, he's there in his car can hear them. We'll go to Paul and Caledonia Paul good morning. Good morning. Oh, just a question before I give you the percentage does it matter. If it's a house or a condo shouldn't matter at all. Well, it's all based on valuation by the assessor. So there's there's always this misnomer. Well ahead this amount of square feet. So my taxes should be based on that. That's not what they do it on solely. It's square footage. It's value value of the home. What what the assessor thinks it could sell for. So for condominiums. We have some great condominiums that are valued at five hundred. We have some that are valued at three hundred fifty so Paul you're in Caledonia. Yes. Tax went down one point two percent. Right direction. Absolutely. Trickle down a little bit more. Hopefully with the all the Foxconn coming in. And I've got to think that's going to bring incredible tax revenue to the community there too. Thank you for calling. Okay. Good news right down down down. Two percent. Whatever down is down a sous calling from Brookefield Brookefield is one of the communities and new Berlin. If we could get a new Berlin colleague here if your taxes went up or down how you doing? I'm good. Well, what happened taxes you I I'm in the town of Brookefield, I have not gotten my Bill yet. But I did look online and that fair market value went up about thirteen thousand my taxes went up about one hundred twenty five dollars. Okay. Not real significant middleweight probably stayed about the same. So. Right. In certain of. But you went online and looked you should get your Bill soon. I would think with today's fifteen th of December. So there's still anytime. Yeah. In, you know, think about it in Brookefield, specifically Brookefield one of those really hot communities. Everybody loves the school districts there. They've got all the shops and convenient to everything and for her fair market value to only go up thirteen thousand dollars is probably kind of a win as far as taxes are concerned because my guess is that in real terms her property value. Probably went up a lot more than that. So you okay, with that SU I am I want to gauge people's temperament to like, I you know, you okay with that was that was the I am kind of not really satisfied. Like, it could be worse. But I can't complain about my taxes whatsoever in Brookefield again. Like, all it's a great community. It is it absolutely is both a town in the city of well-managed. Nice job. Thank you for the call. Sue for sixty years Martin lady, that's the smart later have a merry Christmas. Sue, thank you for calling you too. Thank you. Appreciate the call. Here's new Berlin. We got marked a call in from new Berlin. This is why I'm curious about an umbrella. Maybe it's because the radio station is right on the hundred twenty or right next to it were in greenfield. But we're your neighbor how you doing Mark or good guys. You guys. Good. West side. About eleven percent, but six hundred bucks. Percent. Yeah. Wow. Hello. What does that does that make sense six hundred dollars to have a referendum? Well, the kicked into effect this year or something. I don't know. I think our school went up about four dollars. Then. There was a gambling tax. I don't set that a little bit. But then our value. Our value went up to three hundred bucks that upset that gambling. Yeah. You know? And that's one of the tricky things when you look at these tax bills if you get a fair market value that happened to get raised quite a bit. That's going to increase your actual tax that you're paying a referendum kicks in like Mike was referring to that might increase a too. So sometimes we got really analyze the Bill a little bit more to see if eleven percent. Well, I mean lemon percents not good. Sugarcoat that. But that's not good. But that's I I was the prizes me. Yeah. And I would be very curious. You know, Mark or anybody else from new Berlin? If you wanna Email me a copy of your tax Bill, I can look up the information to easy enough over time. But I I'd be curious to analyze it a little bit more. And then maybe it's something we can talk about next week show too. And see if there's something there that that's important that stands out. So, hey, Mark. I appreciate the phone call. I think there was a referendum that passed a number owners a controversial one in the last years. The ones that past with this last election. Those have not kicked they would not affect your property Tangalle twenty eighteen he might be a year or two all jet. Of course. So you won't get those affected navy new Berlin had one I think it was last two or three years ago now is kicking in like O'Connell walk did two years ago. There's no way around it. If you're having a referendum us just pick up a big number. Well, cedar breaks nine million dollars. Yeah. Let's say a hundred million dollars. There's no way around it. Your taxes are going to go out to get the money to take however, many homes, you have or however you want to look at it in that community divided into one hundred million and you can start backing into a number. Yeah. By the way, at during this whole conversation may wife texted me, a copy of our property tax Bill, so Bob on the breaking and have you analyze it? Oh, good looking at it. You do get a first dollar credit and a lottery and gaming credit. And speaking of your wife, she is online live on our chat feature on our website right now. So if you do have questions, you can't get into the show because we typically have quite a few callers calling in with their tax bills. Go talk to dawn on the live chat at redefined realtYcom redefine realty dot com. The site is phenomenal. You can check out Mike sake. Cara combs dot com. And of course, Jon Waylon cornerstone development dot com where heating up the phones guys people are getting their tax bills out. It took a little while. But now, we're we're gonna roll. So we'll come back after the break. This is the annual property tax show with redefined realty advisors. Bob tarintino. I'm Paul Krahn forced phone number. Call seven nine hundred eleven thirty they'd you property taxes, go up or down where do you live? That's essentially what we're doing. And if you want to throw in some commentary, you can certainly do that. We welcome your calls. Here on NewsTalk eleven thirty WINS, then we'll be right back..

"Coming up next segment. Something on the Panthers something on the clippers something on the Knicks and the bucks at also something on Robinson baseball for you. But take let's follow up the college football conversation. Aaron Murray's Bill this a few times. He's got to get that wing ready by the way, drafted he was drafted by the by the af that's the Atlanta legends right down there in Atlanta, Georgia. So he's going to be playing pro football again soon, but before it gets into that seat. He's still on the seat as an adolescent, and he's with us again here on Tiki and Tierney CBS sports radio Aaron how you've been buddy. Doing good doing good. Like, you said, I gotta get my gotta get my body. Right. My mind like, let's go for it. Let's have some flooding. My body's like you been hit in two years. Yeah. That's gonna be folks two months since our first game. So I gotta get body ready. How are they preparing you for that? A game planning wise, or what are they telling you guys ahead of ahead of the af launch? So it's gonna be it's interesting. So I was doing a mini camp with the Chicago Bears last spring, Brad Childress. Was there helping out in? Brad Chile was was one of my coaches in Kansas City for a few years. He was kind of a special system. The offense. The bears. She was helping out with Nagy new Nagy from Kansas City. He sold me. Like, hey, listen, I want to be the head coach of this new team in Atlanta. Sprained do league. I think you should give it a shot, especially since you live in Atlanta. So we've got to do my research. I was like why not? My TV radio. I'm still twenty eight. I feel good I stayed in shape. Let's let's give this a go. So. Address last week. Luckily, they protected me because I don't know if I would have been playing if I was sent to Salt Lake. Thank goodness. The stadiums. Pretty much in my backyard about ten minutes away from old Turner stadium. Which is now Georgia state's football stadium. A lot of good talent players a lot of guys actually played with at Georgia's and played against the Georgia Tech to be on our team. And then I got Mike sake as the OC. Offense as long as he doesn't go out there and try to take my position and try be like a player coach. I think we'll be five. Yeah. Right. Because he did that that flag football league. And he's still in great shape as well air. Let's get to the college football weekend that we had last weekend and the college football playoff now. Nick Sabin is sixteen zero after beating Kirby smart, if you're you're Georgia head coach wasn't your head coach, then sixteen against former assistance, but given his comments. I'm sure you heard them as we brought you in do you think they're one of the top four teams? And if you think they are should they have been in despite their two loss record. This is where I'm torn because I do think they were top four team. I think right now you put them on the field with obviously they lost the Alabama search as you put it on the field against Clemson. I think that's a really good match up. That's kind of a coin toss to me right now who when they game but just watching Notre Dame, and I'm a big fan of game fixing Oklahoma. But I think you put Georgia against those two teams. Lana people if. Yes, majority those guys in that room making the decision, I think they're good feeling would be Georgia would win those games. I think Georgia would beat Notre Dame. I think Georgia would beat Ohio or Oklahoma excuse me. So my mind that's told me, hey, they are top fourteen country. But then I'm saying to go earn it. They didn't go to server they lost LSU, and they they lost pretty bad. And then they had a plane game. I mean, they win. They gave me gets Alabama. So that was their opportunity to into the final four day to take advantage of it. They didn't earn it. They didn't win it. So like I said, I'm torn are they a top four team. Yes. Do they earn it? And that's the problem within the day dating go out there when you present it to himself. They didn't finish the deal. They didn't finish the drill by beating Alabama in this past weekend says championship sort of Murray, of course, Aaron CBS sports colleague football college football analyst, he's with us here on Tiki interiors NBA sports radio air, and there's a couple of ways to look at this. Some people will say, well, I like this four team format for the college football playoff. It makes you like you just said you have to earn it. And it creates this debate in this. You know, this angst about having to be perfect in a sense, or at least if you're gonna lose make sure it's a close loss like Oklahoma's close loss of Texas what they had the chance to avenge or you should expand. You think there's ever going to be conversation about expansion another committee said, no? But would that be fairer? It's not happening. Not as long as the ESPN has control the whole state because the reason why this is talked about for the entire football season. You know, if there's an eighteen playoff you're going to pretty much know who's getting in. I mean, there may be a couple of teams at the end here or there, but you're gonna know the conference when there's gonna be a couple of large is a group of five in there. But I just I honestly I like excitement maybe it's because I'm in the world now. We're talking about this all season long. Yeah. Just makes every week that much more exciting. That makes every game that much more important. I think the players feel the coaches seal the fancy let us in the media. We feel that we have to talk about it more. And I think that's. Fans in charge. And they want us to they want clicks. They want people to an end. And that's how you get up to the bait the excitement. Yeah. I guess I just don't think it would be there with an eighteen point. The average challenge this year because really before the change the the final change it was pretty stale for a couple of weeks here. So I thought the conversation was becoming incredibly predictable with the BCS. You mean? Yeah. Very repetitive. There really wasn't playing with the playoffs. Yeah. Just the playoffs here. So if you expand like the four teams, and obviously thinks changed with Michigan getting smacked by Ohio State for a three week period. It was Notre Dame. Was there? Alabama was obviously one Clemson was to Notre Dame was three mischievous four or Michigan was three Notre Dame's for whatever way. But if you expanded to eight now, you've got real deeper probably more meaningful conversations because it branches, you know. No. But these games are playing. Playing game. The Georgia game was the first thing. That's you're playing that is considered pretty much a playoff game. I mean, that's your opportunity on the big stage against your big rivalry a confrontation between that your opportunity to make a statement saying that we deserve to be in the final four. If there were eight Michigan needs to win Michigan needs to win the game that they're heavily favored to win against Ohio State and getting that's they're playing Georgia has to win the SEC. It makes the games more important makes the SEC championship. And I know that's a tougher conference championship in the big ten or the big twelve. But still you have to win that game. You are in the best conference in the SEC. You're playing better complications. So is it unfair. Maybe a little bit. Yes. But that's what you signed up for the plane this league at the end of the day. You wanna play against the best? You wanna win that league? You don't want the easy way out. So I'm fine with being four like I said, I love the excitement, and you just have to win it. And just like Notre game realize that you have to win every single week because they know the conference every single week is their championship game. Because if they're eleven in one. They have to be twelve now, regardless of what goes on around the country. Yeah. Buddy Aaron Murray here, obviously, always funded bait this stuff, he's with us here on Tiki and Tierney CBS sports radio. Let me let me go back about a month and a half or so whatever a couple of steps to the Ohio State loss. At purdue. We talk about the aesthetics of a loss, and they gave up a lot of points. It was a night game in west Lafayette. It was a different energy that program's been down for while. There's you know, they got absolutely rolled. I think it was what forty nine to twenty. If that if they lose if the gun on a thirty seventy Fuego, and it's twenty four twenty three is it a different conversation. Oh, completely totally different. Right. I I think it's it's all the sex appeal the excitement, I mean, you don't that. Even if you throw that in there, you the way they will go the way they look to Maryland. No question. Eight Maryland played really well had chances to win throughout that ballgame into the fourth quarter and overtime. It was put the ball round the chest. And it's a game game over beat Ohio State. So I think that all goes into it's not just the way you win. But you know, really punishing opponents should've punishment, which is unfortunate because you look at Ohio State. You look at the talent from Haskins to Dobbins to the rest of the offer that you could even without their best player that is a team that should play every week is the way they played against missed it. I mean that team is eight elite which is unfortunate didn't play the entire season. 'cause I think if they did that team would be a really competitive team in the final four. But that's what that's why you have to earn it every week. And that's why go back that fourteen playoff. You gotta you. Gotta excel you have to go there. And be Purdue you have to go out there and waxed Maryland. You gotta go out there against Nebraska team. That's not very good. And you gotta beat them by twenty one twenty eight point eight didn't. And that's the reason whether or not anyway now, so I think in my opinion, it's been a committee made the right decision. Oklahoma is more deserving especially. The way they compete, Texas. A team they lost early in the season more deserving than Ohio State to get in there. Gotcha now Aaron last question before we let you go. Mark richt was your coach. But I'm gonna ask you to defend Kirby smart for going forward on fourth and eleven. Justin fields a backup quarterback the personal protective. He what the heck come on. If you're gonna call any kind of fake in the game. I offense defense team's whatever it is on psych kick. You gotta be right in the ear of referee. Because if it's not the look you call out. I mean, you don't waste it. You don't waste opportunity to one that play in to screw your team. In my mind. I'm thinking only fifty punters Peng pretty well this game. Let's see if we can push who is the backup who has played pretty well, that's still not a lot. Not a lot. And if he wants to push the ball vertically down the field. I think that's a win for the east and she's not to throw in football. You can pin him inside the ten inside the five. And then three now. Get great position because you have one of the best part returners of all college football. Gordon? Great go position. And then you have a great great kicker and Rodriguez. You win the game on a field goal. I just I don't see it. I think I think you make Jalen throw the ball. Because now you get a quarterback who's mobile. Saying, hey, I don't have to push the ball vertically down the field. I could soak it down. I could throw to tight end. I can use lakes. Can get first downs or puts down instead of saying. Okay. I gotta go ninety yards right now. It changes everyone's mindset, and it gets the guy in a little bit more anxious to on that side of the football. So. I don't know. I I hate the cold. I hate it was terrible. Say that you can't defend. The only way I could defend is if if the play was there. Yeah. And obviously, it was I think he said that it was there for a split second they adjusted..

"We are rolling a rat along five twenty three here on his Sunday morning. It's JJ after dark. John chancellor here right here on the fan. It's football Sunday. And. Not a whole lot of buzz for either one of these matchups because the giants had the chance to get back perhaps into this NFC stays that a sixteen point lead against the eagles. They let it slip away. Now, they return home to take on cheese Daniel and the Chicago Bears a very dangerous bear team that can get after the quarterback that has all sorts of speed on both sides of the ball. And you have to wonder for the giants what their motivation will be and how juiced stop and how fired of this game. Will they be? I think that's going to be interesting to watch for the jets. We know that basically play out the string they were three and three now the three and eight they will be looking at a new head coach next year. They get ready for the Tennessee titans on Sunday question around. The jets is who's going to be a quarterback will be the return for San Donald was is not played since that the buckle down in Miami. Or is it going to be another week? Josh mccown. Off the wait and see for a good pal bike fliegelman sake. Who I know he's down in Nashville, Tennessee right now for Mike sake. I'm hoping he gets a chance to see San Donald. But if they don't feel that stand Donald is right and feel is healthy to be on the field. You don't put them out there. If there's any sort of risk when you're three and eight and you're playing out the string. Out of caution. I never is on the side of caution. I could pow Jeff money in queens, Jeff money. We miss each other last week where you had a great time of your wedding. There was terrific out in Long Beach. My buddy, Tim, his lovely wife. Mccall punch a big fan was the wedding. They were feeding me drinks left. And right beautiful things that wasn't Jovan. Jeff's boogie on the dance for we caught the end of the college football games in the second half. And I took the Uber back I woke up, and it was ready for football, gray. I know I even quote you on that on that Friday morning. It was tough to get through. Jerry. And I got I got some prime time shows coming up next week. I will be with Chris more Friday in for big Mike and then in early shelf ame- you wanna to get on the horn. I think we're doing four to seven any late afternoon early evening. So an earlier start fears truly how we check checking the schedule on that. So we got a week thirteen. Now, we got some good games here this week. I got four plays. I when my money played this week on the Texans, minus two five and a half over the Browns the second game. I liked I liked the colts minus two four over the Jaguars. And there again with a high line, but I got I figure you can't go against Raja's yet in the call. But it's just a awful team. I had to take the Packers minus thirteen and a half. And Finally, I took the Seahawks minus the ten over the forty Niners allotted shock in a lot of favorites from you now. The cold seems so obvious, right? Jeff. It's Cody Kessler quarterback locks playing great. But I just wondering the division game is gonna be the element that finally brings out a pulse in Jaguars are not going anywhere near that game. I liked the Texans the more and more. I think about it. I'm not gonna play it. The Browns had been very good to me. They were very good to me last week. But don't you get the sense? That's the sort of game in which Baker Mayfield that offense. Could maybe be overwhelmed by the Texans defensive line. Oh, absolutely. That's why I just really that's why I was my top pick. That's why I had to go with the Texans day as far as the other games. Like, we said the cardinals. I actually took them last week. I was one of my plays. And that was I'll never go with them. Again. They're just awful, I figured Rogers. He's always known for this time of year. If he's going to do it this time you do at home. And if they're gonna beat him, I think they can definitely beat him by the double digits there. It's a high number though, right? Fourteen and a half, thirteen and a half. You feel a little bit better about it at thirteen and a half. But here's my prom. Jeff for a team that has been his mediocre is the Packers all year. I just don't feel great lane. A big number with them. Look, I'm not advising you to take the car knows. I'm not going anywhere near the corners. I it's just when I'm gonna lay a big, no. But like that I want to have that confidence in a team. You know what I mean? Oh, yeah. I don't blame. I don't blame it. I don't really typically like always a double digit favorites either. But there was like was it four or five games this week with double digits lot of high lines this week? And you have a lot of untrustworthy favorites, my friend, and I appreciate the call. Atlanta's favorite this week. Miami's a favorite this week. Trust Tennessee after what you saw Monday night tough against the flushing. Bruce is up next on the fan Brucie? Hey, JJ with the mix making headlines, no deal. They're gonna make I tell you all the guarantees get Machado or Harper because how is next to he realizes, you know. Tug of war. But fans, and if the Mets and making these moves, he's I'm gonna make Momo's make sure that I get put fannies in the seats. Conventional wisdom would tell you. Yes. The Yankees will probably be in on one of these big free agents. I would choose price offer for a variety of different reasons. If on one of them, I know Sweeney has gone on record of saying that he believes price offer is going to be Yankee. I would not have a problem with that. But I don't think Bruce in this day and age a says dramatic as it was maybe I don't know ten years ago twenty years ago when George Steinbrenner was around I think it's just a very different dynamic and the one thing I would say it's not like the Mets went out and sign Manny Machado. It's not like the Mets got Ramadan. No right after playing with the New York Yankees sticking thirty six year old second baseman. I understand that. But. Roadies? I still you mentioned before Vancouver in Corey kluber. I don't know. Well, the only way I could see them pulling off a Cooper trade is they're often Noah Syndergaard, Corey kluber, Bruce. I don't know why you do that. If the Mets could synagogues younger, you have him for fall, more control. He's going to be fall more forcible. You're gonna have to pay Corey kluber. So to me the idea of taking Syndergaard flipping them for kluber. Something I would not do. You do bring up an interesting point. Buzzer on a Mets right now on the moves. They make a bus. Do. I think that will influence the Yankees in any way. I don. A more influenced by what's going on up in Boston. And the fact that they won yet another world championship. I that is the obsession for the Yankees had to catch that right sucked. In mount what's going on out? Let's said the Washington heights Manhattan. What's up? Hey, how's it going, buddy? Packed. What's happening, dude? Not much. I gotta say. I'm not doing cartwheels over the Deel way. I'm not doing parties. But let me ask you did. I hear you correctly saying that we should with getting rid of Bruce and the deal. It comes about sixty three million the Mets who actually commit to KOMO whatever. Yeah. Again, these are all numbers that are still being worked out. So I'm trying to just follow along with what these data telling you. Joel Sherman had it on his Twitter page that the full deal is D as canal and twenty million to the Mets for Bruce swore Zack. Kella Nick done and Bautista and basically the Mets will pay, you know, five years sixty three million dollars. Once you subtract. How much Bruce in swore Zach plus the twenty million. All right. So he's he's he's what I'm thinking. I'm listening to you guys people hung up on the prospect. I'm not doing the plastics. I ain't hung up on the fact that I'm not in love. I love giving a thirty six year old a five year deal. No matter. What? Right. That's not what's going on in baseball right now, we've seen that anyone bet age may get a year or two if you're lucky I'm so I'm not I'm not in love with that. But when it comes to the prospects, and you guys to saying, well, there's plenty of closes out there or relievers that the gotten after I'm also not in love with. Let's say. Oh, the guy can Boston doctrine is capable of. Yeah. I can understand that you don't want to give kimbrel six year deal. You're wondering about how he's going to age board. There are a variety different relievers out there on my friend and a big I want some of those guys still now like they need they need. They still needs to do more work. I mean, you just can't look at this bullpen and say, it's fine. It's a okay because we added when I like Google being a swing guy. I think he could drive out of the bullpen. I like his Selman pitching out of the bullpen. If you're not gonna over work, overuse them. I think he can be a weapon there. But you need to do more. You're absolutely right. Actor absolutely right. You're going to solidify that ninth-inning better. But my point all along is I don't beef bringing with. Yes. Very good reliever. But when I have to top prospects like in done, I'm going to back because right now you look up and down at lineup where are the intact pets in this belt lineup? Not there. This guy's not checked in a while. He's doing well will all New York. What's up? Well, I'm doing well. We have a lot to catch up on before. I get to the match real quick. I tweeted this out you earlier, and I missed some of the show. I'm sure you commented on this. The jets are what the fourth or fifth worst record right now. So the waiver order I'm I'm putting a claim on cream hunt in a heartbeat. If I'm Mike maccagnan. I would not be surprised now you understand in this climate, and in this marketplace, there will be quite the backlash in this town with the coverage the tabloids sports radio all that stuff. I said an hour ago discussing the situation as deplorable as it is a shameful as it is even Kansas City did the right thing here there will be a team next year that will employ Kareem hunt. If he's eligible to play. There's no doubt in my mind. It's a winner win at all costs league. You think anybody cares that Lawrence Taylor is a terrible guy. Or Ray Lewis was a terrible guy. The only thing people care about his championships. When creative Kareem hunt is rushing for thirteen hundred yards scoring fifteen or twenty touchdowns. Nobody's gonna everybody's gonna forget real quick. You're right about that. I mean, we're seeing the situation in Kansas City where tyreek hill at a similar situation coming into the draft. And nobody mentions it now because Tyree kill is the star. And he's putting up gaudy numbers and he's playing great. And at least for now, he's staying out of trouble. That's the difference between Ray rice and Kareem hunt. Or Ray rice didn't have a whole lot to give when that incident broke back in what? Two thousand and fourteen cream hunts twenty four years old big difference. Exactly. So the jets with all this capital? They're gonna have another top five pick. It looks like step one. Grab cream hunt Monday. It's an obvious move doesn't go ahead ahead of the waiver order. That's an obvious move to me. I'm curious to see how it's gonna play out. And I'm curious with him being on that list. Is he going to be eligible claimed? I got to research it. I got to figure it out myself. Well, I honestly don't know. Okay. As far as as far as the Mets here real quick. I haven't talked to you since they hired van wagon. I like to hire yard. I really like about the higher. I read he may twenty five million dollars in commission as a player agent last year. He's taking a huge pay cut. He wants the job. He's not just taking this job to be Jeff wilpon puppet. He's taking his job because he's got big expectations. That's what I think he wants to win big. And I think he wants to win big now white the most I like the trade. I thought about it. I it. I I did not like it that I really thought about it. And I mean, I'm ecstatic to get rid of Bruce wars was the two steps does the two guys that we're not going to be a part of your team long-term, but we'll five years on Robertson Cano contracts at ton. Right. But you know, what it's only sixty million. I think he's got two or three good years left at well. You'd better be banking on that. And here's the other thing you need to happen. You need Edwin d as to continue to be a storm a friend Edwin d as to continue to be on this trajectory of being one of the best relievers in all baseball. That ends up being the case you get three good years canal. This could be a fine. Not this could blow up in their face when we come back, and we gotta get hot. I mean, we'll four on the five hundred it's been a painful painful stretch, but I'm an optimist. Keep fighting. We're going to be like Jalen hurts waiting for his time the shot week thirteen additional locks in a week there up next is JJ after dark out here on the fan..
