"To you was playing when you believe. Hey, Lady and gentlemen, this concludes our press conference again. All right. You've been listening to a press conference featuring the Indiana State Police Department as well. A special prosecutor rose Mary Corey, releasing the grand jury's findings. And the grand jury has found insufficient evidence to indict the I. M P d officer who fired shots and ultimately took the life of Dre, Shawn read. Nige. That was a very emotional press conference. Tears were coming out of the eyes of the special prosecutor. I don't think I've ever seen that before. I don't think I've seen that. And she did make a convincing argument, though, that she was fair and impartial. She said. She agreed with the grand jury verdict. My question is why was she Emotional hammer and she address it, didn't she? During Thie question and answer session with the press. She said that she's the mother of two black boys, and she understands like she understands. You know what it's like to be a mother and couldn't fathom. What the deceased family's going through, but also said she feels empathy for the officer's family as well. I think this was just an incredibly high profile, emotional case, and she was kind of just letting go in this press conference here that feeling of relief that it's over. You could tell she was a little nervous when she got started. But again, this was a special prosecutor brought in solely for this grand jury. And the grand jury finds insufficient evidence to indict the I m p d officer who fired the fatal shops at Dre, Shawn read. All right, We're going to go to the police department. They are holding a press conference right now. Kyle, can we bring this up? Do we have this yet? I am Petey. Okay, We're gonna work on getting that because we hear there's going to be another press conference featuring law enforcement when they're ready. We're going to bring that to you. Sorry about that, Matt Bear. We got all the moving parts over here knows what Right do you want to let everybody know? I talked to a bike patrol. Little bit of go mental police. And they said at that moment this just a few minutes ago that there were no street closures downtown that they did not have any streets closed as you travel on about downtown. Now, that could change. Here as the evening progresses. Right now we advise everybody to please be careful when navigating downtown because there is an increased police presence. We're talking horse patrols. Mike Patrol. Just please be careful. Take your time on your way out this evening. We do have a crash. The American Standard Heating Weather Center. I'm looking out the window here, a monument circle and honestly, I see more media that I see people out there right now, Nige, There is one I am PT cruiser that has parked on the north End of Monument Circle. There were a few protesters walking around earlier, Probably no more than 8 to 10. I imagine we will see some sort of protest later on tonight. But as of right now always quiets here on Monument Circle and again If there's another press conference, and we're hearing that law enforcement may be having a press conference of their own, we will absolutely bring that to you live. The hammer and idle show. Do not go home has.

"Only on KGW when now in talking solutions and phonemic Neil we're gonna talk about toys and socks for tots to teens welcome thank you I heard from a friend of ours Mike patrol that we should get you in here and find out about an event coming up next Saturday the twenty first yes at the Chapman ram truck center over there on boulder highway I know right where that is exactly so what the heck is toys and socks for tots to teens it's a toll and give away for needy children in our community this is our third year and our first time actually doing it at Chapman but the Chapman staff it Tommy C. N. us we have been partners for three years and what we were doing we were actually going out into the community and donating large amounts of toys to children and communities that we thought were in need of toys and this year we just decided that we wanted to do a few things differently we've invited our body bully busters seven oh two Keith and his organization they talk about blowing and working with children not to bully and teaching them what bullying is and how it affects other children so we've sponsored bully busters seven oh two and the children at the academy where the bully busters seven oh to his headquarters and I thought about socks because I know about children that don't have socks in the winter time or don't have enough socks so we're going to be doing toys socks for Tyson teens we're going to give them to any child that needs them there's not going to be any long application process because we are dealing with children that are sometimes homeless parents that don't have phone numbers and addresses there's a lot of weeklies and homelessness up and down boulder highway where the ram dealership is located yes so those are the children that we are marketing to bring them out of those weeklies and out of those homeless shelters up and down boulder highway and like I said it's not only for homeless children is for children I want toys and there's plenty of people with full time job jobs that just cannot meet the budgets of holiday giving way that the truth I don't have to be homeless to receive our toys or our socks we're gonna have food we're gonna have special had dogs we have a sad time we have a train there will be riding children around for three hours we have live music Suzanne how well Tony be is lectured violinist we have Jay Sylvester he's a saxophone player and the a list band and we're going to be planned for four hours Christmas songs and anybody want to join us and dancing and singing we're gonna have a festive festive time that has like a big party five eight and the fact that you're actually locating it now for the first time this year at the Chapman ram truck center it's right there on boulder highway you'll have the room to set everything up exactly this base that's exactly right they are actually moving like a hundred ram trucks that they have had centrally parked in a certain area so that we can use that entire lot area it's going to be big and we're planning on servicing five hundred plus children and families that day it's very sad that we have that kind of knee but boy do we we never seem to be able to have too much for the need a special a Las Vegas keeps growing that's right the need is there it's expanding as well this is toys and socks for tots to teens happening next Saturday December twenty first starting at noon noon to four we're going to be rationally enough by ex and we have some tablets for our children but we're gonna be raffle Intel's off so we would like everybody to be there between twelve noon and three because we're gonna be winding down after three with the drawings and and giveaways of the bikes and some of the other large items we've been able to collect for the children last Saturday before Christmas and really special time and the owner this event that you're talking about toys and socks for tots to teens that's going on from noon to four next Saturday the twenty first at the Chapman ram truck center there on boulder highway it's gonna be a really good time everyone I'm sure is invited but what we're looking for is new socks yeah of any size I would imagine from infants to teens yes boys or girls whatever we don't have any idea what children show up and we want to be able to make sure that we provide Sachsen toys for every child we even have some giveaways to circus circus theme park we're going to be given away free gift cards and they will include also there so it is and popcorn and things like that while they're at the circus circus we've had those things don't I needed to us by circus circus and we've really been blast this year being able to be here today is a blessing we've had the marine corps working with us now for three years and we are really a distribution organization for the US marine corps and I'm proud of that given to kids of all ages and making their holidays there Christmas is special that is such a warm fuzzy feeling and the feeling of giving yes and phone I talked to all kinds of charities doing community relations for Beasley across the board kids adults whatever socks are the number one most requested item yes any time of the year that's right and this is not going to be our last time we have gotten together with Chad men and we know that this is going to help a lot of people and Chapman Deitsch ram trucks inner is based right in the middle of the community yeah they're right there right there in the heart of that community and there's a lot of children in that area so is our first and we know that there will be many to calm it's a great spot for it it it toys and socks for tots to teens that's the name of this special event coming up next Saturday we talked about the socks what kind of toys new toys is what we're looking for any age you want them wrapped or on wrapped unwrapped toy any age new born to a teenager I mean teenagers are usually the ones that get left out because there's all kinds of cute little fuzzy stuffed animals you know that everyone sees and they how cute you know and they purchased for us and we appreciate every stuffed animal every little cute fuzzy doll I don't care what it is we appreciate it but there are bigger kids out there that need something they need gift cards gift that's what we forget is through artistic thing is the give yeah because they can choose what they like to run and with teens you never know at age they're not talking to you no no way they need this Friday on talk to their families or no you know what I see no to enter in many cases where families needy those teens it was pointed out to me that in a lot of cases like with foster children third helping to care for their siblings so they'll take that gift card and then turn around and go use it to buy some toys or something for their younger siblings which breaks my heart but we could do some gift cards for these kids and hopefully they'll use it for themselves yes by some underwear and shoes and tennis shoes we do have of organization of teenage boys that were in games and they are trying to get themselves I love that Dave Hollis runs the organization and these boys are trying to get away from the games there are like fourteen fifteen sixteen seventeen years old may have been incarcerated for short periods of time but they've turned themselves around so we're going to also be trying to help these boys get tennis shoes socks underwear you know things like that you don't think about the undergarments but we all got around I don't care who you are no answer I raise any size like you said to give cars can help them to go and purchase their size because we can't very well know what size they're going to wear hopefully next year will get other sponsors like zap wells who have shoes and we can organize ourselves a little better but this year we're just kind of go for it jump in it both feet and do our best I think it sounds like a great time it's coming up Saturday from noon to four ad Chapman ram truck center on boulder highway it's toys and socks for tots to teens and totemic Neil is with us and you're mentioning that you're also working with bully busters seven oh two you were talking about bullying yes these kids who are living in these less than desirable stations they are the kids that get bullied yeah most because they're the kids they don't have new shoes they don't have different clothing they are picked on by the other students in school that's right we need to do so much with Boeing anyway but if we can do just little things to help upgrade these kids and give them a better situation a pair of shoes and yes sometimes that pair of shoes means so much to them new socks and underwear not sure this is the things that we're hoping to provide for the older kids we do have our eyes on the older kids we know that there's a great need for the older children boys and girls the gang prevention detail we are helping there's a lot of boys in that organization they're happy with what ever we can do they have not asked as for anything in particular so with that being said whatever that gift card we can give them they can go to Walmart and get what they need because we just really don't now even a gift card to Smith will provide them with some food if they don't have any food whatever they need I talked to a lady with a new born the other day she was telling me she's a single mother with a newborn baby we didn't do a lot of new born we do have stuffed animals and things but the first thing I thought about was that gift card that we're going to be able to give her she can go to Smith I'm sure she needs diapers for that little baby people are calling us their Texan as their emailing us about their situations and we just tell them calm to Chapman ram truck center at twelve noon on Saturday December twenty first my partner here Tommy C. and I are the event coordinators this is our third year coordinating events like this throughout Las Vegas is just our first time doing it at Chapman which is where he works so we just stepping out going into it with both feet in our eyes open what a great place though to have the event on a Saturday for noon to four because like we mentioned you're smack dab in the middle of the need yeah it's gonna be a great big party with me music and food and yeah giveaways every times free I'm sure everybody is invited yes the more the merrier everyone's invited like I said we know this Christmas is going to be raft for even working moms and dads the rant still has to be paid after the holidays are over so whoever wants to come anyone bring your children with you children bring your parents with.

"Any law or used to head football coach at Columbine high school and if you caught the first segment and he talked about his experience at the shootings in April on April twentieth of nineteen ninety nine and an anti described that that that that scene and getting over to Lee would to elementary school which is very nearby know exactly where it's at and by the way I've had the the blessing meeting Kassebaum's mom a couple times and when you finally got home that night and kind of get an idea of what happened what went through your head you know we still do not know a lot even that night even up until the next day they never released names again we don't know how many people you know eyes mention overtly would elementary in the gymnasium and those were the the families are still waiting for their their kids and so you know there's probably eight of them the families over there and still hoping for their kids come back we had some kids that that came back over there that actually saw one or two of them that were shot we knew that the parents right terrible we're not the ones that break the news about that but you know I didn't realize I want you know Catherine all her uncle and I went to to say Bernadette's together is as young kids and he was in the gym waiting and what he doing here and as Mike niece Cassie and so you start putting things together mac the characters are like have you seen Matt as like no I don't I haven't seen it I haven't seen anybody yet in also but you'd live from back and those are just those families in the beginning we didn't know even at night who was still missing you know which kids are coming over from a Columbine library from all over the place maybe back with their friends and like I said there's no cellphones will people are still trying to track each other down at the time so even getting home I mean I know when I went told the lady would I I try to call my wife and and she was out and I called my parents you know in and talk to my my mom and my dad and they were worried that was I think one of the the first years of of nonstop you know CNN just live all the time and I think that was the kind of what launched the mail twenty four hour news type of things and so on they saw the everything unraveled on the TV well we never we never saw anything on the TV so we didn't we still didn't know we were you know kind in the dark on it so getting home obviously yeah yeah all your life and and your family members they know my brother is the one that came and picked me up we were not able to get our automobiles for probably three or four days every part of the school and it was all a crime scene so you know people that only their purses and and all their belongings in the building until they open about for us later on that week to be able to go get it so you know obviously you're you're just you're you're rattled yours scared annals fear just comes across you know that you're not thanks is clearly like you have a strategy for you just everybody's kind survival there's teachers that have stories of of grab anything in the thing closest to on to be able to protect themselves and people grabbing you know three round three ring hole punches or or you know state for you know I was in the after the police officers they say I so what you what you have my keys what you want me to do and they said get your **** down and stay down so there is a baseball near me so that was my that was my weapon of choice that I was going to you know pay somebody I can I can hit the broad side of a barn that that was my CD so those are all the story kind of where people are like Jesus that's kind of what I grab to try to protect some yeah we still didn't know anything until probably later on the following day they started releasing some names when you saw the name Matt character on your players remember that I do I do I do remember when they released matin released all the kids you know and and there's a couple you know there's some situations where at Lee would there's a guy that I grew up I went to high school with and he was a Democrat a saucer and he's the Danny I was in US I it's bad there are there are thirty people plus that are killed up there is back and so you start hearing some some kids that you know descriptions as kids who you think my gosh they were killed and then we end up is funny that I guess it's ironic that the first thing that people are trying to do is take god out of schools and get got out of out of you know businesses and all that but the first places that we went over to churches and and and the church was the first place is to open up their doors and and so that night actually what we went over to the light of the world Catholic Church and just went over there to pray and looked up and I thought there was this girl that I thought we did it by description that were her sister or two on that were her dad and and there there are right in front of me and so you just her in your prayers and you're just trying and and happy to see you know the kids but still just fearful of not knowing who and so the next day knowing that there's thirteen victims partible was better than having thirty or forty or fifty victims but it was thirteen yeah victims that we we mess and we missed to this day and you know feel horrible for their families and they're still part of our our community and and you know what their support is hard to sell through all these years but but we missed their their kids just like they do yes on Matt character was one of the players your players that was killed it as well it was a teacher he mentions name Dave Saunders we have a mutual friend Mike or tolo who actually worked here for a long time at at I heart media and he was in that room with Dave Saunders and basically watched your friend die kind of a guy was at face they Saunders he know Dave was in education as a teacher and a coach for many years and you know kids love Dave Dave coach softball coach tracking you know just made an impact around our building and Dave Dave died as a hero where he was down in fact a lounge watching when it all went down so he went running back upstairs to go we'll try to put a stop to a you know as each is we think you can say stop it they're gonna stop well he went running up stairs and saw them coming in and and that's when they was shot was trying to go up to do something and that's kind of role that he was in and the kids that were in that bed in that room with him for that afternoon Daddies and as last hours and minutes with I know those those kids are special people I know that they talked about his family they pray together with and they did a lot of things and and I think if any of us ever passed we just want to know that people are are with us that that love us and and are with us all the time with it and so I know Mike and those kids yes I know it's been a long hard road with them in that experience at the same time I think that as a family member and somebody who would do that he would just be so thankful and blast for Mike and all those kids now on sharing their their those last minutes with David and the tears those and just have to know that our priest you are Mike is very open about it like you said probably talk to you but as well but I've heard the story sober in over a couple beers couple times with Mike patrol and he's told the same thing you said we're in this classroom is chaotic and Dave Saunders comes bursting in any locks the door behind this is that everybody get down and then he collapses he regained conscious little bit I think later on but that that was him that you you describe to hear right they're handy absolutely absolutely and there's so many teachers and there there is a teachers in the science department that were kind of going out and keep an eye on where those two guys were in keeping kids protected and they were running back and forth between offices and telling people to stay down and so there was so many you know trees Miller who who passed after that with cancer but gosh there are so many heroes in that building what about a custodian who you know is just an unsung hero that was that was spying on those two guys and and track them down and then they would go he would open up doors and get kids out of the auditorium in different places and know where they were and he had and jump over over the top into our common sense probably a ten foot drop her so that because when they turn around and and sign so you know that was his name is Jay and NJ was just I guess said an unsung hero that was going in and getting kids off into safe places in and rescue and kids Lotta great stories out there and a lot of blessings you know sense and but they how are are all school and and community has rallied together the whole nation to be honest with you know any Lauer's my guest this morning an amazing Americans he's a football coach at Columbine high school he won a championship that fall after the shootings which we're gonna talk about we come back in and how that team rally together like any so the community rally together and he's my special guest on amazing Americans today on KO a news radio we'll take a break in a second anti curious so you still close to the character family yeah John and yes they are they're they're doing they're doing well okay don't really well yeah they're part of our documentary that yeah ever put together so it's been great to reconnect with them and they were at the state championship game when we won it that fall too so we where we're able to to stay in touch good good stuff any hours my guess we'll take a break on K. way news radio when news radio time one thirty in southern California today the earth moved and not in a good.

"And the golden nugget cans live every Friday night at the golden nugget on Fremont street downtown and everybody went oh my God. Call me on the phone. For her. I knew I had arrived. Ladies and germs. Ken thompson. KT on location as I usually am this time a week Wednesdays, of course, Steiner's pub, Friday nights, always the beautiful golden nugget downtown Thursday's I've been at mcfadden's and now schedule freeing up and getting a little crazy over here. But what a beautiful night to be outside. And that's where I am KT is outside right now at opportunity village. And I talked about getting together with my pals. Dominic and AJ just to promote everything that these guys have going on with an incredible organization that has been strong in the Vegas valley since nineteen fifty four and we bought AJ Adam Joseph is with me here to kinda lighten everybody on what's going on. And the reason I'm doing I mean, I actually got an Email the other day on a brand new haunted. House is going to be broken out at the hall of setup that they have here over where the magical forest is a lot of you folks have been to the magical forest for Christmas time opportunity village over here off oak, sixty three. But and yeah, we've got the haunted house. We got the guy with a chainsaw scaring everybody over here, which is great AJ your stay over here by me for now. But first off Adam always a pleasure to connect with you guys. And I got the Email the other day, and I said darn it. I can't go at six thirty eight thirty I go I'll be on the air there. And I'm thinking, well, maybe I can ask the folks at busy can I do a live remote over at opportunity village. Sure. Enough got the green light Mike patrol sent back and said, okay, John Shaffer says it's a go. So go ahead. Thompson get out there promote and tomorrow night open to the public the haunted house hollow Wien freight night. I mean, everything going on. "South suite two twenty two so upstairs on the second floor upstairs from where the yard houses get out here folks, especially knowing that it's kid friendly. And I mean, that's a great thing. Because there's a lot of peers I remember being a single dad a lot of times. I wanna go watch games and hang out, and I had my daughter, and I was obligated there. So I was like man there's nowhere really cool to go watch games and kind of let her enjoy yourself as well and have a good meal. But if you have children ten or under when they come here to mcfadden's for every adult meal purchased you get a free. Meal, which is awesome. So great stuff. Now, I enjoyed on the marble right tonight with the sauerkraut and all the trimmings, the Ruben, it was outstanding and Mike betrayal. Join me over here. Mike, of course, Beasley broadcasting's finest. I mean, he's a he's a Niners fan. He's a Red Sox fan. He's all over the place, but his sons playing good ball, New Mexico state. But more importantly Mike's a great daddy's a family guy. And so he's got kids and other get a little older. So he doesn't get the ten and under for free meals anymore. But it's a great family friendly place. And we had tons of giveaways. Ryan is over here Ryan's our tech guy. So whenever anything goes wrong. We just look at Ryan he takes care of business, and you know, so far so good. Nothing's gone wrong ear, and that's the great thing that happened somebody that understands the technical side of radio behind the scenes, so when something messes up you have that person you can kind of rely on. And so we have Reinier Andy Iskoe always with me on Thursday nights. We've got a great show in store for you. Coming up at the bottom of the hour teddy atlas and you've seen teddy last couple of days. He's here in Vegas. Of course. The big canal. Oh, Alvarez fight against triple g love can get Andy's take on that fight. But I'm gonna talk. We're going to talk actually with teddy. Atlas at the bottom of the hour. And then the top of next hour a little bit after about eight ten or good pal. You know, all about the forty six defense was named after his number Doug plank. Former Chicago bear Doug will join us as well. Doug, of course, played his college ball at the Ohio State University. And they have a big game in Arlington. Jerry's house coming up against TCU this Saturday last. I saw about a thirteen point number there. TCU catching against Ohio State urban Meyer will not be on the sidelines. He was able to coach them in practice. But that is he will not be within this'll be his final game of a three-game suspension. We'll get into all these games. Andy Iskoe, of course, one of the better prognostics. And of course, Andy has his own website, the logical approach dot com. He also has an outstanding newsletter which I had no clue this guy had a newsletter. And he's been doing this show with me now for seven years, and I have all these other people doing newsletters, Marc Lawrence, Brad powers. And no Andy said, hey, you want me to send you my newsletter? Like what I didn't even know you had. It was great stuff. And a lot of great information that I couldn't find on the other, newsletters, Andy, Iskoe gotta give props my man. I was pretty good stuff yellow you happen to ask me after about seven years. Now, you do anything, newsletters. Ensure those users offered that information. This way could pick apart some of those place. I was reading it every week you sought there. I didn't know I thought you were I thought you were plagiarizing I thought you were going to Marc Lawrence's playbook newsletter there. All right. There's this whatever you have set him. He goes silent on me. I just let you keep digging and digging and. Eventually you hit the bottom yet. But I and I've done that many times. No doubt about it. Quite follow me on Twitter at sports X radio. Andy, Iskoe advocacy, Andy seven eleven at sports X Michelle and at like a girl remember sports X Michelle she is here. And if you get here to mcfadden's again and find her she's around giving stuff away, we give him away a lot of stuff, we had KC and the sunshine band tickets. We still have about six of those left. We've got shirts from silver and black state. So, you know, real cool tank tops ladies on those those are not very nice shirts. They're worth coming over here. Marc Lawrence still have some platelets. We're giving away and people love those because they have all the pro teams alphabetically, and then all the college teams alphabetically and all the last ten years how they did against the spread has this year schedules. Nice big and bold alphabetically. And I just love it. Makes it easy for us, Andy. Yeah. Also has a lot of situational plays teams in their favorable sponsor, their least favourable sponsored little recommendations. Of course, there'd based upon a lot of the information coming into the season. But if you believe in I guess, let's say history repeating itself or history following a certain pattern. Plenty of that kind of information in the Marc Lawrence playbook gets one of the two or three books each year that I say, I absolutely must have a Vianna choose if I had to choose amongst ten or twelve which one's the Marc Lawrence playbook would be right there in the top three. I agree with you hundred percent. It is one of the magazines that I go to all the time because it's the easiest one to get all those schedules. Get alphabetically just top of the line stuff and always. I thought you were going to be used to get two of them in you because you used to pull one of them apart and put him in notebook one you kept in magazine form and the other one you'd put I think. By conference or something needs to do to make it easier. Once we get into the meat of October November schedule that is a good call. Yes. Glommed to myself, but I give away three boxes of Marc Lawrence playbook. And I've been selective all have a few more tomorrow night at the golden nugget. Remember so Wednesday nights, Steiner's pub, seventeen fifty north buffalo. I love this place. That's the hashtag twenty three in the Vegas valley to serve you Thursday nights. Right here, a true Irish saloon restaurant, and I'm talking about a spacious restaurant, and if you love loud music, I mean, the crystal clear, so when I get here at about three three thirty and I'm setting up, you'll the Neil, Scott, classic, rock and alternative rock. Just blaring. I mean, good stuff from the ninety eight societies. Absolutely crystal clear, and they've got the games on and it's nice and dark up here. So there's no gaming, which is great. So for me because I don't have to worry about the temptation to play video poker? I'm trying to focus in on games. It is true raiders Vegas Golden Knights bar, and the food is outstanding. So last week, I had the fishing ships this week. Rubin and Mike patrol at the Ruben is well, we enjoyed ourselves. And we also had the fries and gravy now being east coast. That's a big thing back east, but these are a little different. They're actually fresh potatoes sliced thin with the skins still on there. And then covered in Brown gravy, which is an outstanding gravy, and then they had a couple of fresh jalapenos on top. And of course, you can brush those aside, but I liked the fresh.

"The indians because we're seeing that the yankees and the astros if they happen to run into each other in the first round will wait and see if that is the case but those are teams that really have a good opportunity to do match up well with each other so we'll see what happens going forward here but again i think this has been a very fun series least severino shoving with that complete game after jordan montgomery left early in tuesday's start that's fantastic to see and this that's one of the little things that winning teams do and i love what the yankees are doing here so far i certainly expected the astros to to slack off a little bit more than they have again you wanna look long term because these are two teams they're going to win close to one hundred games during the regular season i would say once you get through the playoffs you'll things could be a little bit different so that is one thing that i noticed with this series but again very exciting fantastic baseball between these teams the problems that they have the shortcomings that they have aren't going to be issues during the regular season you see you can still back these teams with a reasonable level of confidence one other point i want to make your about this series cullum mccue for the houston astros he's quietly trending towards being another above average two elite level reliever for this bullpen changing arsenal up a little bit mike patrol was talking about this on his twitter account at mike patrol on twitter at my i think it's at mike underscore patrol on twitter but even he was talking about this on his twitter timeline this houston team waves of arms in the bullpen same thing with the yankees these are the two class teams of the american league even with boston start here i still take the ankles and astros over both of them the indians and the red sox kind of in that second tier they're a great baseball here so far in this series and apology store listeners here's i'm kind of tripping over my words.

"Of velocity yeah no they definitely want the judge gun but i mean maddox kids he's thrown about eighty two out of unlv so there's a lot of ways to skin a cat but no i noticed your son's having a hell of a year no doubt about it my good buddy mike patrol over here a beasley broadcasting his son playing as a freshman over there in las cruces new mexico state hitting about four fifty i think in league play in the wax so lots of great baseball players come out of clark county and throughout the state but really here in the vegas area and i mean we put out a lot of athletes and the main thing is you know some of these football guy is like a will hernandez can we make sure we don't let this guy ended up at you and we keep some of these guys and i think that's why tony sanchez may be that guy there because he does have his hand not only with his brother kenny over there at gorman but he has his he's got the pulse over here on the high school football locally no question this town is loaded with talent and every single sport it doesn't matter pick a sport all cross country baseball football i mean there's a couple of million people now in the valley you're out programs phenomenal athletes obviously headed by chris brian harper so we had a phenomenal high school sports are definitely support it before we get to a little football prognostication as far as the draft from you nick i would think that the sports pos probably made some good money if the score holds up miami six the dodgers in kershaw three top of the ninth she says ravine that line closed around town i don't know what you guys closed but i saw a minus three ninety i saw four twenty oh my lord yeah well we really need that game because if you scroll.

"In this series so using those fringy starter types of sixth and seventh starter type guys in multi inning facets out of the bullpen very very smart for mickey callaway kudos for that and it's an important thing for me to follow with these new managers you know i wanna see how they're leveraging relievers how they're maximizing the talented they have back there so far so good for mickey callaway so one thing i did want to talk about here today i wanna talk about exit velocity and some of the outliers that are out there thus far because i kinda got the thinking about this when it came to the cleveland indians who have made a fair amount of hard contact so far this season but really haven't had a whole lot to show for it and i'll explain a little bit more here in a minute but you can look you can use the stat cast search function over at baseball savant to look this up if anybody wants to to'real on how to do that please reach out to twitter at skating tripods or adam abang the book dot com i'll be happy to do that for you show you what i use baseball savant for is phenomenal tool the stack cast in for mission is out there is just it's magic it it is absolutely phenomenal is invaluable terrific resources darren woman has over there mike patrol also doesn't great job at stack cast as well as tom tango just great work being done there i disagree with a lot of what major league baseball has done the blackouts from mlb dot tv you should make your product as a widely available as you possibly can i think rob manfred is doing a poor job as commissioner man one of the things that it'll be has done right is putting out that stat cast data so many great resources so many usable things that we can take and you and put put to our advantage here when it comes to betting so league wide this season batted balls of ninety five miles per hour or higher batters hitting five oh five on those eight hundred twenty four for one thousand six hundred thirty to the atlanta braves are banning six eighty six on these balls of ninety five or higher that is sixty eight point.

"Lot of people know because i've talked about it on previous shows all right there are a lot of folks out there that use hypnosis or have go into hypnotherapy to help ease that kind of pain and kinda get treatment from that if anybody on the panel has any experience with that kind of because you know when we talk about mind control in noces and things like that it can go both ways it can be helpful and it can also be harmful depending on how much we want to take in surrender to the outside they'll let come inside to influences this is mike mark i mean you're absolutely correct good ways to use hypnosis and of course anything else there's there's ways that it could be used for for evil or for bad you know so when we talk about m k ultra into my control programs hypnosis and by the way hypnosis is not my control my control is not hypnosis not synonymous hypnosis is one of the tools in the mike patrol toolbox right so but but hypnosis can be used it's very beneficial too many people for many things quit smoking lose weight distress help with pain and so on and so forth so that's the thing i think in tv and in the movies they depicted and a very dark way many times and it's it's just not an accurate depiction of what hypnosis can be used for plus it would also take many sessions and it may take more and depending on the individual it may take even more than just many sessions it could take years to to take and do because even you know i have friends and other folks that i'm connected to in the va that actually have tried this and it's it's helping them further needs but you know is it a trade off mike is it is it a trade off for you know something you know because a lot of times you don't get something for nothing the if you if you want good health well you you're gonna have great health if you know if you got it and then but that doesn't mean you'll always have good health and you know there's a balanced they're just hypnosis work that way as well that you know of hypnosis can be very beneficial more.

"Is there any merit just to the idea of it's the rockies they've had troubled developing starting pitching there's the altitude these guys aren't going to go deepen the games maybe it's tough to bounce back so go heavy on relievers which is a strategy that worked for them at least early in the season last year it also work for them in the past i wanna say iranian aruba struck hearts while better than i will but lamy like five rockies yup was an suv garbage haulers curtis lespinasse ganic arm your by the city and it's going to carry eight relievers i when i broke down the roster today had them carried eight relievers but ben i think this gets into where i just disagree on days i just don't think davis is that guy if you if you told me if this was the kelly janssen and they're gonna pay davis more of the next three years and janssen chapman's gonna make that time if this was signing henley janssen i'd probably be a lot more for for the recent g e you mentioned but i just don't know the davis is a whole lot better than what they have much them really down on the player i agree with you though arm they do have starting if seven starters arm and you could put sense tell him the bullpen i'm with mike mike patrol at tweet tha they talk about i think sense telica the aca relief and i'm with them on that so you go get a shaw you've got on a vino who at taunton hall any right hit hit or even sees the ball scott her back there since tell us back there the giro d as a still floating around back there he somebody you could just magically show up and drop a 35percent strike outrate ensemble so i think they had the makings of that kind of open dan i energised davis is not only do nothing tips going to be worth it should i leader pitch that while italy's worth the money and is ties up like marginal money for the rockies that if they could actually have an effect on them they're going to be cots has them now if you add in the davis contracts the one hundred thirty two million dollars which finally above last year and this is a team that.
