"They're my My first gig. i went to lena when i got released out of i played india ball at college and i i made it eight games. 'cause i am a short an left handed and there's no place to play so when i got released i went to law school because i didn't know what else to do with my life and my first job after passing. The california bar was general counsel for the giants. And just you know kismet. Whatever wow and then and there. I went to i went onto the Stayed with the giants for like twelve years. Went onto the braves and then The nationals and and. I'm still actually worth the orioles. I split my time between the minor league. In the orioles capacity. You attended capacity or or mike ono your capacity with baltimore will so i was. I was executive vice president up until the pandemic and then i left my little apartment in baltimore to come back home here to northern california to be with my family and i kind of decided. They didn't want to go back as much as i love baltimore and i love the fact that my office was in the warehouse and all the folks in baltimore just terrific from ownership. Everybody's wonderful there but You know i. I wasn't into young back to live alone in an apartment in baltimore after having come back home with my family and so Made a deal. So that i could continue doing the things that i was doing but do it from here. So right now I still do the in house legal work. But i'm also developing the orioles new dominican academy which is a total labor of love and and You know a piece of whatever Legacy i'm gonna leave behind will be That academy 'cause i i just i'm in love with the the dominican republican and would baseball means down there. That's another long story about the about that stuff but other episode. Now that's awesome. That's really cool. But i'm curious just about the league itself What exactly does it mean to be affiliate affiliated because we've seen all the a league's Independently with all. Everything's gone on. "Wow chelsea looks tired and you'd be right so i've been working and i've been doing some zoom meetings for work before my full day shifts at work so i will. I'll wake up in the morning. Do an hour hour and a half soon. Call go to work work. Eight and a half nine hours and get home changed clothes. Go to the house and work on the house. And it's really starting to like effect me in a negative way because not paying attention like i should so like. We finally got to the hallway. My dad was like prime the hallway that That way it's done you live do one one coat and i'm like great sure. He's like paints in the bedroom. Just go downstairs and grab a brush to thing. So i'm like. I know how to do this. Like it'll be fine with these awesome to make these new things for paint now. That are like a plastic. Very thin liner for your paint rollers. So it doesn't get yes. It's really brilliant right. Eight no muss no fuss. So i get i go into through. My thing is put it in the paint liner feet liar into the paint holder. Which i don't know the name. I hang it on the ladder. You gotta get tall and you gotta get tall tree so then i started and i go right back to that same bedroom. Grab the campaign for it out. Start paying. i'm like man private. Stand these really thin. And i'm like but it's fine. I'm putting enough of it are on that like it's fine. It's definitely less yellow. And i'm like it just needs another out. 'cause the colors in this house are run on gillis so initially and i still have some paint in there but i'm like waste not want not chelsea and i finished probably league eleven forty five so i go new grab the paint to go for what was left of repack into the can and i and i looked at the canned. Did i use primarily for those of you know. I bought a I bought a hoarder house. It's it's They left a lot of stuff because they left a lot of stuff There's a lot of superficial molden. And so we're using kills primer on everything so that basically kills primer when you when it dries it like it it it does what it says it kills. All of the things kills the vix. Yes killed important. Step for house. That was as dirty and superficially moldy as this house was at this point. It's not anymore because we we've found so now we're going through. We're just like and i look at began. Because if i don't get in in the house. Like i need to have a conversation so cool cool. I don't want to be rude but these are the things. I want to check before i have a conversation. Also i talk all day at work so like give me a second right like can we just can we just chill like legit today. Am i paranoid tells my down. I'm like walking away because i've been Doing pandemic is now like with my parents. Like what i chose studio because lincoln was ready to move out and all that stuff monkey now. Let me.
