Bitcoin jumps to all-time high as enthusiasm for crypto grows
"That. Let's switch gears to another big security. That sister moving an asset that's been moving in. That is our good friends at Bitcoin of looking at it right here, 19,000. 315. It had touched intraday high 20,000 just recently, little bit little bit of a pullback here, but it's just had a just an extraordinary run here since September since March, Anyway, you look at it. The graft just looks amazing. Mike McGlone. He actually understands what's going on here. I admit, I really don't. That's why I turned to Michael. We have big days like this Michael Clone. Commodity strategist for Bloomberg Intelligence. So, Mike again the graph I'm looking at here, the trailing 12 months graft just extraordinary. Here. Just this last run since they let's say, September we were down to 10,000. And here we are pushing 20,000. What's the driver here? Yes, Paul certainly shows good charts. What's really happened? I think in the last few months is the markets come around to this is the virus isn't going away, and it's becoming part of institutional portfolios. Michael Strategy making mate made a major Alka Kate allocation squares involved. We have people that stand Stanley Druckenmiller and Mexican billionaires. Key point is well, it's a key point is, you know I look at the Mexican peso is it's dropped 50% versus it down in the last 10 years, so people need to diversify their their holdings wealth on it on a global basis. So from American standpoint, Yeah, you know for us, you know, money is kind of like water is to a fish. But for the rest of the world, Bitcoin is somewhat of a savior. It saves people from currency to basement. And then we have the shorter term. You know, the indicator that Papal really brought it to the masses in this country. I I just tried it out to just buy a small like $100 worth. It was so easy and so cost effective. I was shocked. So about this going is it because central banks have started taking it seriously now that these big investors will finally jump in? Well, that's that's part of the unique part of it. The supply is very limited and demand it actually increases with higher prices. So right now it's total market cap is about 357 billion. That's not big enough for central banks and for a lot of large entities. But asset increases it moves into that space. That's the unique thing about its long as it's not, too of Noxon Dent's orderly, the bigger it gets more likely central banks can hold it. There's one key central bank on the planet that's probably allocating big kind of writing. That's

Apple Releases Revised Version of iOS 14.2 for iPhone 12
"Let's begin with apple. News apple release fourteen point two but he was a interesting released of this on the past but he was specifically for the iphone. Twelve meany and fixing text messages on a couple of other box so they have done these days and i think part of the reason they have done. This is to avoid leaking This is not the first time they needed it. But pay if you got a an iphone twelve meaning make sure that you update to the the last of the reid version of this Our next one is About talking about features of Big mac os or and you know now that they've been using it more Even dad is still is not my main machine. I'm continue impress of how well certain things work. In comparison to catalina again. I'm mike book is not mike main driver. My main drivers pat but there is still things that i do in in the macbook. An ibm impressed. How my old. I have an old mike. Macaire two thousand thirteen because there is no reason to upgraded but dad now having the same messages between the ipad and macbook. Dad has been nice because it was something that you know a lot of times you get down and get a message from just go. Pick another device because he was so annoying how that works so there are things like that that has worked incredibly well Interestingly enough i was really looking forward for the ipods switching between the devices and dot has turned to be a nightmare it may be. Because i have too many of them. I don't know but a lot of times. I am on a coal on the and then i moved my head or change device on suddenly i lose the call that has been annoying their ways to fix it you can tell them basically disable they switching but it was something that i really was looking forward. The romantic idea of yes and grabbed the other device and change out the medically am. I really didn't thought about yet. But what what when you're using multiple devices in the same call That do not work as well as i planning my mind our next Item is creek for the regency talking about running native window on the aim. One and on the new max chipset then us. On the reports we have seen has meaning credible On this chipset and it makes sense. I mean they integrate everything they made it in a really nice way and even the reports we have seen on his speech on on the mac sunday comparisons between the old macbooks macbook pro with the new ones are really incredible on so many ways so there is a lot of people wondering can i put windows in this thing and so far you cannot. I was reading over the weekend. Somebody ready port i version of it nut deficiency microsoft version but as for the for the rugged said it's up to microsoft and base it on what we have seen on the news lately about other companies looking to get into this arm. I may see us a possibility that they really jump into this one. I'm i'm skeptical. I think that you know eventually you know someone will make microsoft windows at least version. Ten work on the m one chips The reality though is that apple is I even heard linus torvalds the progenitor of the olympics colonel which we all know is running a people say lennox. But it's really the open source operates on top of that and the you know the whole notion of the m one chips is that apple is moving into this more island unto itself architecture creating a a privacy wall around their entire ecosystem and they're only letting in those who they want to let in and So i'm really curious whether or not this is really there Shot across the bow to all suffer developers. You'll all you know folks. Generally that they're going to be controlling this. And if you wanna play with them you've got to play by their rules and they do it now. 'cause they're making the chip they're making you know they're making everything So yeah. I'm i'm not particularly interested in running windows on a mac anyway but i think that you know seeing folks kind of bend the rules and making it work will be interesting to watch.

Interview With Dr Matteo Luzzeri
"In this last part of our discussion. We review the lessons learned from the empirical work as avella's mateos thoughts on future directions. In this gnassinde line of research from the show notes. You will find a link to mattel's research which will help in exploring his work for dr martin. Luther terry completed his doctoral dissertation in the field of sports psychology at florida state university. He's also professional water skier. A coach and has a very popular water skiing. Podcast i hope you enjoy the last part of our discussion. A new already. Obviously done a massive amount of work of in- inputting this research together. But i was wondering if you have looked at The actual content of those findings or kind of that would be interesting to take the actual writing and do more qualitative research and analysis on those writings to more. Understand what what's going on there. Yeah so that's that's step two This was definitely something that i want to to follow up on Hopefully when i when my current job winds down in a couple of months. I'll be able to to dive into that. I have obviously read all the old writings And i have done some quantitative analyses on them so Defending the fact that was stopping the tricon of me of meaning. What i ended up doing was analyzing The the words of the type of words that were used. And i use the a what is called dinning quiz. Sticking quired word count so this is A software essentially dead categorizes richton words a bits of text of any length in categorizes the amount of wards in percentage across the totality of words on some categories. It's It's called the liw. See any something that has been used He's being used quite a beating psychological research. And so what i did. Was i analyzed for the intervention group. Six writing Sessions the six writings and suffering since if the expressive the expressive writing exercise about a negative. Like the most traumatic event in sports would elicit more negative emotion than the one about the positive and uplifting event or for instance if the reflective writings would elicit more innovative processing words than dependent. Back your exercises. So i did this type of analyses of tried to see more of like a manipulation of of sorts. So were might writing exercises actually eliciting what they were supposed to release it and fortunately that seemed to be seemed to be the case But in terms of qualitative work. Even i haven't done anything formerly on the data yet. Okay so that would be something that. At least i am very much looking forward to hearing when you when you had the time to look into that and in terms of your intervention. So you mentioned that it was fairly short if you had all the time and resources in the world would you look to do something. That is a longer timespan or what. What would you do differently. If you had all the time resources you needed Seats you might. You might be surprised by my answer. But i would actually make it shorter That's interesting provided a war to do this. Study again because one of the point that in my defense the mike committee made is that you're already working with athletes who are burnt out. And you made the case that they're burned out that you screen for them You we can. We can argue about the criteria. Used to of course. But i went through the effort of screening and taking those who were hiring burnout so the less the least demanding of intervention the better and despite my intervention. I don't think. I don't think was super demanding. Because the average time that is spent on these activities was twenty minutes so twenty times. Three was two hours total across two weeks. Some murky enslaving took more So i i don't think he was very demanding but if i had to do it again with burn out athletes i would probably do. It even shorter if i were to just try to increase. Presence of meaning in sports in athletes not necessarily burnt out athletes Probably i would either do the same or more but the the gold standard would be to to being person as opposed to online There are that are studies he now during interventions a lot of mindfulness intervention studies showing a lot of benefits from an online intervention compared to a nonintervention certainly in not a lot of differences between an online intervention in in-person intervention. Buddy seems to me therefore topics that are these There so the the manding and somewhat strange to talk about how to write about possibly im- person might. We might see something a little different. Yeah i mean as a qualitative researcher. I
Bitcoin peaks at record high close to $20,000
"$19,000.7 83, You're paying attention here, Austin 7 19,083 7 19,083. I went back, please. I remember First time I read about Bitcoin it was selling for 27 cents apiece. Come back. A look at the history of it in 2010. Just before I read about it. Bitcoin was selling for eight cents. Was one of the 27 cents actually thought to myself. Why not think I'm gonna one thing about this? But why not just 100 bucks worth of Bitcoin? But you know what? So what? 7 19,083 bear in mind that eight cents you doubled your money of 16 cents. 7 19,083. I haven't even bothered to do the math on that. If you bought 100 bucks for the Bitcoin. Uh oh. Lord. You have probably what 120 Bitcoin. 120 times 7 19,083, That's pretty good investment. I could pay for your kid's college and so much more. Do the math on that one there. Get back to me on that. This time, Let's talk of a bubble because it's been upto like it was an 18,001 all the way back down to seven that has been climbing back up ever since. Then you'd be sneaking up on two point 4,000,002 2.0.4 million on the $100 investment. That was really handy. Pay for several kids, college educations and some nice cars. So And somebody out there was smart enough to take the flyer on it. Maybe it was 100. It was $1000 whatever, but there's a lot of money to be made there. Alright swinging them. It's 6 30 nine's Our
How Plants Fight Disease
"The microbial world and to my listeners. Probably the most. Famous interactions are the mike arousal associations or maybe some of the bacteria that form in the knowledgeable lls and help fix nitrogen but there is a wide spectrum. Oftentimes pathogenic interactions between plants and microbes. So what made you go sort of the pathogenic or at least like disease route with them. Tie back to where. I kind of realized that when they get sick they actually died and when they died. Then there's less moves go around the world that means prices will go up and that means people that are less fortunate probably not gonna be able to bottles plants or bottles products eventually and it just kind of tie back to where i wanted to katina help others. So it's still tana original passionate helping others. i'm just doing it at a bigger in a much broader implant. That's really cool. Yeah and thinking about sort of all of the threats we face with climate change and just habitat loss. And you know everything. We're going through society right now. Understanding how plants are going to either survive. Stressed out or die has huge impacts across the board whether you're an ecologist worried about conservation or the idea of like food security and just getting people with their right to have access to good food. All of this can tie back to plants on some level and really that stressor. It's not like they're all just gonna fry because it's too hot out a lotta times. They're getting stressed and dealing with a lot of other stuff. Which is where your research. A lot of your research comes in so you mentioned They have similar ways of fighting disease but not exactly because their plants. They're not animals and so let's think about how plants interact with microbes. Do plants have and immune system on a broad spectrum. Is it anything akin to like what we have so. Am i get some backlash for this. But i go hanley. Okay always been. That's always been this debate whether plants have immune system and i some people like to use it I don't like it at all. Okay just put a bad. That they don't have white blood cells. They don't have antibodies. They don't have this like adaptive immunity like we do. I don't really consider that as amused. Glance what. I like to call that. Halfway is planning needs. So they have immunity something. They have components that they made themselves the fan against grows okay but they don't really have that adaptive like components that you will call an immune system so i think If we want to go down with differences so plants and humans One thing they do have in common is they both. Have these receptor like proteins or something that helps them to chat micros. Okay so the way. That dataset microsoft similar invoke lanson mammals. The difference with the malians is Wadis components that water similar allow these receptors are intracellular and Mammals while plans are intracellular. So they stay outside of plant sale and they perceive those microbial related is cool now thinking about all of the different sorts of microbes that can cause an issue for a plan. I mean there's bacteria viruses fungi. I mean does the response. Sort of differ depending on. What's coming in or is it. Just kind of all lumped in and sort of the mechanisms of detection might have some variants. Or where does it begin depending on. What kind of micro talking about here. And i think that's what kind of Fascinate me about this. Feel is like Depending on what the pathogen is or what motive of affection is doing like you get a totally different defense mechanism front of land. So let's say bacteria for example That's half jello. So that receptor. Or the estrogen receptor of plants dakin that said a certain points of jello or from some better and when they detect that part of on they send like a sidney lynne halfway or finland was biased. Light through the plant sales down the activate a defense response or to defend ourselves against the pathogens. So that's like the plant site first response to it But bacteria what they have evolved to do as they had these small proteins or relatively small proteins call factors and these factors what they can do. They can kind of turn off that plants. Though plans they try and go for gel on. They'll try to turn the pathway on and a bacterial cells secrete of that. There's an plant sale and l. Shut off that halfway. Jeez yeah no and that allows the bacteria to continue to invade the vet the planned sale with some cases plant sales. They of all some of these Resistant genes components which are located intra zillur so when arafat their turns off there signaling pathways. You have somebody's resistant. Genes that can detect those offenders and entered on this really robust defense response to kind of just get rid of packaging and so it's just this back and forth on race between planning micros is kinda fascinated with and i'm so glad you said the arms race analogy because that's all i was thinking of is like it's like tit for tat. Every new thing that one develops the other one kind of has two counter end to think that you know obviously there are different players nowadays but this is something that's probably been going on. Ever since plants evolved are crawled onto the land with their roots. And to think of all of the ways. This has been going on through time. It's just this constant change evolutionary pressure to just constantly be going back and forth with these potential pathogens and the ways you can fight them. That is so cool. Yeah i mean it's still kinda going still going on to this day like they're still evolving is still trump
Making the Best of It
"This is podcast number. Two seventy two. And i'm gonna call it making the best of it with a making with the little apostrophe at the end because when we're all living the lives that were living right now during times of corona. It's like mike and the best of it. We got to put an accent to it right anyway. So this is making the best of it and a couple of things before i get into it. I do want to remind you that if you would like to be a patron this is not a patron interview. Strategy session like we've been doing Thank you for the great feedback. On those i love. I love just have an opportunity to talk to people. And i also love hearing from you guys how it helps you just to hear. The strategies applied in different situations Your situation is unique so getting to hear the same principle applied in different situations just helps it to sink in more and make it easier for you to apply it to your house anyway. I love hearing that from you. guys I have really enjoyed those doing those. There's going to be a lot more. Don't worry but i'm gonna talk real quick this week about making the best things because oh my goodness you guys anyway. But i did want to let you know i did. Just set it up if you would like to. I said where you can do. An annual membership for patriot. I know there's some people who are like you know what i prefer to do. One check so that's like. I'm assuming sixty dollars for the year if you'd rather pay all at once and join for a year. You do have the option to do that which you know. It's one of those things where it could be easier f- to ask for this. As a christmas gift the only issue is that it then renews on that same card. And so you don't know but you know what i mean like if if you've been thinking about it and you've been thinking you wanted to join maybe that will make it an easier decision for you. I'm kind of that way. Like i'd rather just say okay. I've got this money right now. I'm gonna spend this and that's going gonna be You know. I don't have to have a monthly charge anyway so that is an option. Now let you guys know that you can go to patriae on dot com slash. A slob comes clean. If you don't know what that is. This must your first podcast. But it's basically i call it my kindred spirits and it's Several different things. First of all You're getting the show. And that's that's ultimately what you're doing is supporting the show that comes to you free of charge every month and in comes to tens of thousands of free of charge every month but it also is a just a way for us parts show and as a perk of doing that. One of those perks is a super secret. Facebook group We're just full of truly lovely people who support each other and earls speaking the same language like they're speaking my language of cleaning and decluttering and organising so that you know i know there's a lot of decluttering groups out there and i think those are great but the advantage of this and the reason why it's a perk of a patron of the show is that you get to bring up your unique situation and everybody's speaks in this language of clutter thresholds and the beauty benefit of less and better and all that so you know the the criticism isn't there of oh or or getting thousand different ideas thrown at you instead. It's hey we will help you work through this situation or give you perspective or remind you of the things you already know because you've read the books and you've listened to the podcast but it just comes from that perspective and it gives everybody just a place to kind of like what i used to do on the blog. When which i mean. I still do to a degree but especially in the beginning when it was just like okay. This is what i'm dealing with today. High gotta work through this situation and get through it. You know a lot of people just do that. They just post like hey. This is my before picture of my dishes. And i'm hoping to post a after picture and a little bit in the comments you know whatever to anyway. It's a great group lovely people and that's also who the who gets to apply to do the strategy sessions here on the podcast so Again that's patriot. Dot com slash slump comes clean. All right so let's talk about making the best of things so back in march april may. Oh my goodness which seems like such. A long time ago i would do podcasts. Kind of deal with what was going on in our situations at that point And i would say things like. Oh i hope this podcast is irrelevant soon and you know and i would try to keep it very. Not just corona time specific. You know what. I mean like. I would try to talk about things and be like well. This can apply anytime. But here's how it kind of angles into what we're dealing with right now. Y'all it is the end of november. I mean by the time you listen to this here in the us. It will be thanksgiving day. And it's is not over and i i'm just i'm done with pretending like okay. Well this'll be irrelevant. And i do hope. This'll be a relevant soon. But i also let's just in where we all are right now because this is crazy i also know that different places in the world are different. Different places in the united states are different. As far as what exactly you're dealing with but but this is a worldwide thing like we. We're all dealing with the same thing. We may be at different stages if things we may be having different issues but the core thing is that this holiday season is going to be different than any in my entire lifetime.
"mike my" Discussed on Licence to Coach
"That's that's this is an extreme situation but a lot of times there are opportunities that you just have to pivot and adjust and come up with a little bit different game plan. Provided different service are pushed forward. And it's that that grit to push forward. I think is what really makes an entrepreneur. And that's where i Sorta navigate towards people is when they have that desire to push forward. I don't have any games specifically but that's just the kind of person i look forward to being around because when you meet with somebody that has at fortitude. You always feel like things could get better. Doesn't matter how bad it is. You could have the worst day in the world and you talk with somebody like that know. Tomorrow's a new day where to get on and make it happen. And that's that's what it's all about now so given everything that you've been through and you've been successful in starting several businesses. Would there be any words of wisdom or advice that you'd have for people that might want to take a similar plunge and maybe start their own gig start their own Business any any advice that you would an for them at all. Yeah i'll be honest. I think one of the biggest things. I've found being an entrepreneur and being around venus world for ten plus years is a lot of people have dreams and ideas and let's just take baking for example because that's an easy one. A lot of people think that. Oh well hey. I can bake a cake. I'm going to start my own bakery. Well that's that's a great goal. I love the idea. But the unfortunate part of that is you don't know the baking industry and you don't know your clients and that's where i think a lot of small businesses they get thrown up with the idea grown up with the idea that mike my takes a great and i can definitely start your own business because their friends and family never shoot him down. And that's you know getting the hard truth your cake suck or you. Just don't know. Business is a problem and we have it. It runs rampant in the pet industry. Because we have a lot of people that love animals they love to death and they'll start a dog daycare boarding facility with the idea that they love dogs.

"And if they're able to do that the sky really is the limit especially if we won't know what home field advantage will look like in this Kobe world but if there's no fans in the stadiums. That home field advantage almost doesn't matter the bye week. Of course, we'll be the all important thing in play here. But if they're not able to get that by week, just getting into the playoffs will definitely be good. Enough Ben Rothlisberger threw three weeks seven hundred, seventy, seven yards lucky number seven's four, number seven. Seven touchdowns a bit of a theme on this one. Thankfully, only one interception and a rating of one hundred and five point two, which would be if the season ended right now the highest of his career back in two thousand seven, he did have a quarterback rating of one hundred, four point one which was his previous career high. And Thirteen years ago, which is hard to believe and. Makes me feel a whole lot older than I really am washing ben throat is entire career and realizing it kicked off in two thousand and four to see words kind of evolved to in twenty twenty. It's been outstanding Ben Rothlisberger. His averages have been pretty crazy too when you when you really break it down when it comes to yardage and you and you look at what he's been able to do through three games and if he can spread it out over the course of the whole year is coming in at forty one, hundred, forty, four yards. If he's putting that up. You'd Better Watch out for the steelers if they're putting up over like close to forty, two, hundred dollars in the passing game, and then this running attack is coming at you nearly two thousand yards. Average. Combined through their entire running back room lookout because the offense would be firing, the defense firing and. you know, Ray Ray Macleod has been dialing it up on kick returns. It's only a matter of time before he breaks one. Yeah. At some exciting stuff when it comes to his passing touchdowns, he's on pace for thirty seven and a third. Round, we'll just round it down to thirty seven. If Ben Flirting with anything in that forty touchdown range, I think people's heads will collectively explode because he's never he's never come close to forty passing touchdowns in a season. I do believe his highest total was thirty four in twenty, eighteen year before. I was also the year of his highest ever passing yardage total five, thousand, one, hundred, and twenty nine yards had Ben Rothlisberger. I would love to see him flirt with those numbers That would be that. would be an exciting exciting season, but we'll see how this year develops. But right now, ben is on pace for some some pretty nice stats also his one interception. Over the course of Sixteen Games It's pretty outstanding when you when you look at ben over the course of his career, if he is only to throw five interceptions, which is kind of what he's kind of projected to do that would be as lowest total Well, two, thousand, ten he missed some games from suspension. He threw five year but I, I believe that was like I to say that was in twelve games potentially even less than that I. I, can't remember the injuries keeping them out of games that year but Ben Rothlisberger if he's only able if you only throws five interceptions, this whole year that completely changes the notion on him his last couple healthy seasons. Twenty eighteen sixteen picks twenty seventeen fourteen picks in two thousand sixteen year, thirteen picks and in two thousand fifteen, he had sixteen picks again, So he's he's been flirting around the teens in recent years but three games in he is on pace for just five really hope he can continue to put that together. Ben Rothlisberger has looked great as receiving course look great. The running backs of La Great this defense at times looked great and I really couldn't be more excited for how the rest of the season will. Unravel The, Tennessee Titans are coming up and it'll be super fun and break that down coming into game week. "From you. You're the pro. You're the year the trained professional. Now you've got to send somebody in the backyard and it's almost like starting all over sometimes. Yeah it. Is it You know I I was talking with Mike My tack awhile ago about that and he said you know the the problem is that you know you go to a certain amount of pools and any you're basically you're working all the time, and at some point just some work more than I wanNA work It's not really a business. You can double or triple your price because there's always competition out there. So where do you go from there? And it and it made sense what he said to me. Is You know I can hire somebody and? And train them, but then they're gonNA. Go out and try and steal some of those jobs or you know they're gonNA go out and start their own business after I've trained them, so it's it's a very tough industry at least from the outside looking in as to how do you? How do you grow and scale without giving your customers to somebody else giving the training for them to do a good job, so they would basically be doing the same work as you will. You've just potentially given them some aspect of a pool route I, don't know I think the. I think the. If, I was stepping back and looking at how you could grow without negatively affecting yourself if I was in that business, I would probably try and market a course on how to how to take your pools and try and get people in outlying areas out away from me, so we don't really have any any coverage you know maybe around the fringes, but you could have them mirror you for a while as part of the training, teach them what they need to know, and then let them go forth and their area to build their own thing and take. Either a small commission or something for the training, an ongoing thing if If you look at the big picture if you if somebody were to put together a good lead generator for people to find good pool techs because I couldn't find them. When I was looking at just word of mouth, you see somebody truck going by the now and you talk to a parking lot and see if they know what they're doing, but if you came. came up with a good lead generation type thing where your customers would come in from various areas, and you could assign them to these people. Somebody could start a good business without having it be franchise or anything like that just training training pool texts, having an area set for them, and then driving traffic to that area leads for pools.

P. pack and they would be better women if I decided to go with the woman which have not decided to that would be better than your woman and and Joe well we'll have his woman you know what they won't have as they pander to women because dammit if we just have a woman on the ticket yeah right yeah but as theirs is pure pandering in the face of a woman rather than conversation about marriage or anything else hello well I don't know having the woman run running for president on the same stage because he noticed what Bernie Sanders and what Joe Biden are more than happy to do is talk about how they would be just fine we're having a woman potentially behind me on the ticket I forgot the woman's because I like the progress of women the progress of women they they sometimes like me but they will not let told together on the debate stage isn't it fascinating that they pander to women ubiquitously but they are not actually allowing a woman who is running for president against them to send stand next to mother but I'm just an observation I understand the toll C. is barely performing I I get all that I'm just saying if they are still about to women and we must better to women you pick what you don't have to we got one is actually running for president she's trying to kick your **** right now how about letter and rabbit or do you not want to get rid of the debate stage or just the two of you because she might run circles around the two of you and then all we really got a problem on our hands just asking just a question fascinating stuff fascinating talks are a single cat some of the news around the state and that the impact you in South Florida talked about this a little bit earlier in the show for his legislature amid a corona concerns did actually wrap up the the budget on Friday ninety two billion dollar budget and they did end up allocating three hundred million fewer dollars due to the current a virus in the impact on the economy also course school districts across our state are close all public schools through at least March thirtieth at this point one thing I do want to point you to afford the meals for students that are used to receiving supplement meals the school districts the state wanted to make sure that those students are still able to obtain them if you're familiar with break spot sites these are the ones that the state activates during the summer months operated by the school district for meals the break spot sites there nine hundred and thirty for them active right now across the state so if you go to break spot site on the website for you can end up finding the one closest to you in addition anything that might be happening and they had a specific school all right to end here to talk more about I I like a woman I like a progressive woman she may sit behind me on the ticket well we have Mercedes lap trump twenty twenty campaign senior adviser at Mercedes lap on Twitter number said he's always just a pontificating it's fascinating to me how but you have Biden who ubiquitously will pander to a woman and you have a Bernie Sanders who looks a progressive woman and the progress of women they like me but neither one of them were all that interested in actually having a woman who is running for president on stage with them hypocrisy at all right isn't it well what personal branding so much for getting getting getting out all the update I think all the Koreans out there in terms of where they can still find that the lunches for the kids I'm at their out of school I know that being a parent of five girls are you know we are in a very different time and we're all trying to figure this out of how we best can keep you can navigate the situation of the closer closer just wanted to thank you for that but you know when you're talking about the progress of woman definitely I'm not the one that ever would be picked on that type of candidate but D. you know that it is interesting how you had a very what they would call diverse group of candidates and all of a sudden you're different oldest and widest candidates you can find at their front runners and quite frankly both of them have tremendous weakness is moving toward it you know I I we thought that we thought that the twenty sixteen when Hillary Clinton played that card of identity politics and it failed miserably as a political strategy and they still private because I got to be called the quick thing we're gonna pick the woman repeat your pick the woman for that for that but at the end of the day I think would go to prime time like now we're we're dealing with the corona virus it's basically impacting our daily lives it's not about woman or man it's about Americans and it's about coming together during this time and and putting the politics aside and what we found out yesterday is that the date for the denture itself reported it with account death debate there was still trying to find solutions for corona virus it would start talking about the crazy things like fight instead about taking millions of automobiles off the road which of course again they're all falling this far left agenda which is just not going to work or common sense Americans well the other thing that came about in this debate and we have seen Joe Biden who you have your mainstream news media continues to try to paint him as the moderate there are no moderates running for president on the left and there weren't in there aren't certainly now Joe Biden it docked in this idea of free collagen puppies for all I mean that is the people to judge position and I didn't see it previously in his in his realm so looks like you took the but the judge position a free pop these babies I'm sorry they killed three puppies college right yes I'd love a free copy but you know if you want that exactly I think you know I think that's where IBM courteously the the open open socialist you know where he stands and then I think you have you have bided being the closet socialists which is that there's no question that Biden has had to forward to the laptop all these this year because that's where his face is that that's where the party that and it's not just the democratic Douglas medic trying to save find it at the one who could beat Donald Trump I mean they're really really good pushing forty eight very weak front runner up who can't even remember what state he said he couldn't remember what the name of the firing squad that you only get one he doesn't know what decade he said I mean it's just one after the other and I find it kind of interesting when you have it folks people out on television saying he told me he read he's making a mistake I mean Donald Trump he would never get away with any of these gaps and so I just find it credible builders double standard after trying to salvage the fight and Democrat damage process yeah but he's going to have a woman on the ticket in isn't that all anyone in this country cares about I find that remarkable I mean here we are you know I can tell you working at the White House with president trump where he if power so many of his limit advisors who were there with him to make very critical position and I have to tell you it was really it was it just the women it was like the bombs were raising multiple children at the working very stressful job and so I think that we you know and I think that provided just focusing it on one apple woman G. P. like that's going to solve every single problem again another political mistake that they keep making over and over again you know I want a hapless qualified people to take it obviously the most qualified people to continue to serve our country and ensure that we stay calm during this critical time as president Donald Trump and vice president Mike pence Mercedes lap we appreciate it and again she's a senior adviser to the trump twenty twenty campaign at Mercedes lap on Twitter and of course we do have are your are primary tomorrow we did have two states ballot we will have four states going ours included tomorrow as governor de Santis articulated over the weekend we voted during the civil war we're going to vote this time around and we did have Georgia though illuzion that pulled I have in their primaries tomorrow so we will see what the impact of all this ends up happening to be the one thing in particular when you begin taking a look at the the state of this race it's rather evident that Biden will pull out a significant advantage come out tomorrow especially when you take a look at the lay of the land with the four states that are going hours being the biggest you had Bernie Sanders to lose a lot a lot of people are talking about Bernie Sanders and specifically what he said regarding you know Castro in socialism and they you know they talk extolling the virtues of education yeah but the literacy program like Bernie Sanders lost to Hillary Clinton in Florida in twenty sixteen by thirty one points he was always going to get his rear end handed to him here I it is going to be likely even bigger but you know that the the affected that particular statement in our state is probably being overstated the one thing in particular you know I admire I think he's scary as can be I think he's I I've talked about how scary he is because the P. one what he represents on talking about Bernie Sanders but I respect him a lot more than I do Joe Biden because Bernie Sanders as honest he is who he is who he is who he has been for decades he tells you what he means heading east a tells you what he what he believes any ball thrown on it and he doesn't back down Joe Biden is the exact opposite he'll go right now we're ever he is told he needs to go to try to secure votes and that's how we get free collagen poppies for all he was still arguing against Medicare for all last night but what the what if the party said but you have to do this in order to get the nomination you think he's gonna be there next because he wasn't on free copy collagen puppies for all until last night be right back right my journeys radio six ten WIOD.

Maxwell trying to put him out of range but until it happens I watch for is does he bow out to if it looks like you can't get the delegates or will he keep his campaign going and keep his supporters jazzed up about some potential both very long shot chance of getting the nomination I I say that because we know he did that in twenty sixteen kept going even when Clinton had the nomination all but wrapped up did you bite into anything to change the minds of Bernie Sanders supporters and vice versa for the senator I don't think there is any moment where either of them had a fatal blow turn around change you can capture initiated the campaign so now the better debater in some ways is Sanders because he he has it the point she has been talking about he has been doing for years but the mist what makes everything different is that this is the core of the virus crisis debate and the debate opened on that and five was just much stronger and what he would do going forward and good crisis gives the advantage to anyone who wants to talk the future and **** passed Senate votes and Sanders got stuck up yet I'm talking about policies imposed that bite and supported while the senator which happened before he was the vice president so it gave an easy habit or burn it for a very to to it gave an easy habit I'm sorry bordered by even to keep it cute correct Irish the boy was there talk about Medicare for all Bob which is something he's done consistently every time you spend in that debate an interviewer rally or any town hall but I didn't even say no he said we have differences but we could hold a policy difference discussion for another day let me just talk about what I'll do to address corona virus any suggestion that mission that I can and I think that will work well with the public because is let off the only thing that people are worried about now yeah it is right now Lynn sweet is a sun times bureau chief in Washington here's the lead paragraph on lenses column today with Illinois grinding to a halt because of the corona virus pandemic everything except the Tuesday Illinois primary voters campaigns and election authorities are facing historic and first time challenges we've never ever experienced something like this so right when we voted my wife and I early the other day the crowd was always busy not too busy though how do you think all of this will affect the turnout on Tuesday why do you try to make it lower I I just have to advise okay so my analysis it will be lower yeah JB Pritzker the governor said it will be well botched if you if there is any doubt in anyone's mind about safety about keeping his distance from people about catching things other people have touch ID and if you're not passionate about any candidate or the outcome it will be hard to see how that person would be motivated to turn out now there may be in some communities test places where you will do it because you care about multiple races and congressional race Senate state's attorney's race and the primary so the other thing that will maybe lower turnout is confusion we have these new voting places for some people they may test give up and say I don't want to run around looking for my voting place so if I say the approach everybody who's listening the super sites that were established in Chicago are open today and they'll be open tomorrow I think cook county it is allowing Kimberly both sides of the there that there are around so do check do you know to everybody it's a website and when you go if you are afraid of contact I interviewed one woman who although that date you's a delegate for Joe Biden Jill wine banks said she voted in Evanston I say this in my column Bob in a and she brought her own pen to sign in and she wore rubber gloves to the touch screen yeah yeah I think you could do to decrease any potential exposure and a lot of the judges usually work the polling places especially seniors are not going to be there so that's another way all this will be affected tomorrow on it you give yourself extra time make sure you do distance yourself from someone wash your hands afterwards check your wipes with you bring your own pen to the two year voting place so you don't have to worry about catching anything someone else has you should be common sense precautions and preparations you could take out now well you also point out the irony that white almost everything and I don't know why it's grinding to a stop people are working from home yeah I strive to be a bit close schools are closed the one thing that is going on tomorrow that you were supposed to do in person just about got it and we will lend sweet sun times Washington bureau chief thanks as always when I'm bowing now there's no shaking hands I'm just bowing to the telephone I guess I'm gently shaking hands thanks for having me on that show and everybody wash your hands all right have a good day Lynn thank you Wall Street is.

"Try your luck at winning the luck of the Irish giveaway he won fifty required that they have representation now is long overdue secondly if I'm elected president Mike my cabinet Michael ministration will look like the country and I commit that I will in fact appoint a pick a woman to be vice president in all likelihood all right I will talk to me it's not just about nominating a woman it is making sure that we have a progressive women and their all progressive women out there so my very strong tendency is to move in that direction I don't know what else to play because everything sort of bored me yeah it really it was I I well I'll sure why Bernie was there now Bernie double down on the fact that you know that it would but about complimenting Castro will look you know also why we we complimented China for what they do to which Joe Biden responded China's authoritarian dictatorship that's what it is we have to deal with them because they're there but the idea that they in fact have increased the wealth of people in that country it's been marginal the change has taken place it is still they have a million Uighurs a million Muslims in prison camps in the west but then again he was bumbling Joe was bumbling and stumbling last night too and I don't think it was impressive for either of them I know this it was a field day for Brad Parscale for audio cuts for future audio and video cards for future campaign ads yeah I'm I would say it is there are probably some other more dynamic moments it was a bit of a snoozer because there wasn't an audience and also because we already know who Bernie is and nobody really cares who Joe Biden is you know I mean I saw the thing with the Bernie Bros over the weekend where they came out and said flat out you're not voting for biting if he's the guy that's and you know it's it's funny because when we played you know far left podcaster Joe Rogan and he was making fun of Biden I was at last week uhhuh he's already endorsed Bernie but I mean but the question is and will I don't know if I don't know if I heard Rogan say he would never vote for Byton but you know there is a significant part of that group that won't you know they don't have to take cruise this thing they don't have to step up to the podium and say vote your conscience I'm at the at the convention July thirteenth through this through the sixteenth they don't have to do that that's kind of a given with many of them as active as that's just kinda how they act right that's how they behave I'm they don't need to be many of them don't need to be told not to vote so it's it's it's kind of a given we knew this and the question is how many in that group will hold their nose for Biden.

"Have met who's like oh yeah i found your you know your card you buried underneath you know all of the junk that i founded mike my plays are pocket or and my handbag or something and i was cleaning out then i thought i'd call but there's a lot of that slick what does it take to actually make the call you know and then show up for the appointment like what's going on like what's the inflection points in somebody's life and so you in general would i always used to do was just you know what's their chief complaint you know the chief complaint sort of like a sentence in the patients words and if you're if you're you know you have like a bellyache or something you'd be like my stomach hurts beer chief complained but since all over the regular dr liu pupils walker or cures i've got a the psd told me i've got headaches people do people tend to go to you right away with what's known as you sort of ask them for it like so then you've left in the same way you would in any patient surgical patient and internal medicine patient the kind of what's the problem is essentially that question and annual literally in your knows b like you know chief complaint is you know i can focus at work i you know my boss' really mean to me i'm having a hard time with my spouse so it's very problem focus and then treatment kind of radiates out from that time so is it medication is therapy is it like what are you kind of doing to kind of help them deal with those problems and then send them on their way so what point do you say okay our water go do this.

"In one and then i also chose the category names by the first category we'll talk about is like a a classic old school jeff probst side to him that we don't really see any more and then out of the one the middles can be one that we still see a little bit of this in presentday probes and then the last one will be very much something that presentday probes does but these are the early integration of it was ought to be kind of like going to time here through these fifteen clip the evolution of the three jobs mckay paul karang what is the first piece that you want to start before it up into that i said you're also want to say too there were some moments out there that i realize will with watching these jeff probst clips is that sometimes he's funny with his face and his reactions he makes him in everyone talks about you'll the candice and the the building moment the face he gives at treble councilman and realize that sometimes it was hard to find actual audio clips there might be something skip over here just because it does not translate while to a podcasts at all but the first season that i wanted jump into here's my personal favorite season just for style gic sake in the season i know absolutely the most about i'm pretty sure i could quote most of the season for you if he wanted to of you've probably want the first half of the season that the second half of the season of going to go to the australian outback and this category working with number fifteen through eleven is what to called to close probst or as a workshop and some stuff with mike my said you really good at puns in the literature stephane he kinda called this predatory probst which might be a little bit stronger than i would go for with this but just nydia in the old days.
