Final 53-man roster projections for all 32 NFL teams

"We're to get into the fifty three man roster. So today, we're going to make some projections I did a roster projection heading into training camp was on July twenty seven I had Jalen Hurd making the team I had Sean Coleman making the team. I had a few other players that they're just not going to make the team for whatever reason. So we're going to do that again today after trying to cap after all the news after everything we've seen and read and it will let's just compare to see what's changed since. So start with the first things first quarterback, Jimmy, Garoppolo, nick, mullins, CJ, Beathard I think they all make the roster I. Don't think that that's going to be very you know very controversial. It should be. I mean yeah. I I. Agree I all three of them making the roster as well. Especially, this season with Cova did I imagine that most teams will try to carry three quarterbacks if they can especially just given you know you never know. What happens if Garoppolo or mullins or you know they were to test positive or whatever the case is right and they were mistime than having Beth who understands the system? He's not great by any means just having them in the building is going to be advantage. Advantageous this season. I made this comment to someone else earlier Beth. `Red to George Kettle is Kinda of like you know James Jones or Mike Miller was. and. Lebron he's like teams back in the day. He used to have like those guys like travel with him. I think CJ beathard and George kind of like that George must have somewhere in his contract that Caesar method must be on the roster wherever he is. Those our buddy buddy but jokes, apart I I think all three of them will will make the team. So that's funny. You say that because Caitlin Beth one throwing to kill this off season for the most part it wasn't. Garoppolo. So maybe there is this weird clause in the contract right? I mean I feel like I could make a stronger argument where you carry two quarterbacks as opposed to three just playing the odds last year I can understand it as you know Garoppolo is coming off an injury. So you want to just protect your quarterback you WanNa make sure that you know united last minute fishing for a quarterback but you know he's out there he looks comfortable. No knee brace. In just in this situation I just can't understand a situation where. What are the odds that your third quarterback plays a snap in the regular season game just play the is I imagine that's less than ten percent very, very low at imagine. Right if we're going to do that, yet are the likelihood of a quarterback testing positive for having that whole situation happened shared night. There's a possibility that can happen without. It'd be a risk that I'd be willing to take, and I would much rather have you know a position player as opposed to you know a third string quarterback that major. May Not like the is that he throws a pass on likely and he's not going to help you in special teams or anything but that's I mean that's a Shanahan's ways and I don't see that changing I. Wonder if that will change you know this year with mullins and method both moans is a restricted free agent, right? Yeah. MULLENS will be back. He's restricted free agent. CJ BEATHARD is directed So hopefully, this is the last we've seen of method. CONHAM. I. Hope they don't some deal but Yeah it's tough. Especially, you know when you're having. Debates over other positions trying to like squeeze some other guy and you've got who's affected taking roster spot and like you mentioned, what are the odds that he plays right? but just given. Kyle and where they draft method and what they're trying to do I think they're gonNA, they're gonNA keep him on the roster rather than just swallow their pride and cut him. So both said before the pod before we hit record, this is what we think is going to happen not necessarily what we would do if you were in charge fifty, three man roster so.

"Were there host Mike Miller on king? Yes, folks were getting into planting season. Remember that if you're putting in any kind of Woody plant material a tree or shrub, evergreen or deciduous. It doesn't matter a conifer do not put fertilizer in the whole when you're planting fertilizing the nitrogen fertilizer can really retard route growth by depleting Woody plants of carbohydrates. So that's what it really does. So the nitrogen aspect is bad bad news for Plamen cereal. So don't put any in the whole when you're installing your plan material also just doing fertilizing in general again without a soil test. You could be doing more harm than good. So just completely and understand that. So let's now head up to Godfrey and see what's going on with Peggy Peggy. How are you very? Well. Thank you. How are you? Good and happy Saint Patrick's Day. Thanks beautiful day to. Yes. I I have. Had. I don't know how to tell you accept the huge patches. Loss in my lawn. And I've been trying to use the D set your rate to get rid of some of it is that the right thing to do. And and if so what do I do? Now, basically, you're never going to get rid of it. No matter what you do a lot of people put they have something called D moss. They have other products physically like what you're doing. But the mosses there because the soil chemistry in the environment in general, and the moss you could make it. So it almost feels like it's gone away. But we'll be back. So unless you want to just do it for building up your muscles. There's not really any reason to go out there and full with it. It's just not a circumstance that you have to live with. Oh. I hate to be a real any. Is there anything we'll grass if you plan seat, it will grow it will sprout, but the moss will still probably overpower the grass. So you could put the seat out, you know, every may every September. Then just watch it and you enjoy the grass as long as there. But just realize the moss is going to end up being there. And there's nothing I can do not realistically. No, oh, that's bad. News. You sound. Like, you have a great house is probably woodland or whatever it happens to be and up and Godfrey, and which is great country, but you could sell your house and just move someplace where that's nice in this sunny. That's what I need to do. Right. Exactly early hot sunny new construction. So nothing grows not grass. Not moss. Nothing. Oh jojoy. She can come over. And collect all night. Doc. Yeah. It's like, you know, people, you know, trap a lot of different stuff. But then she said, you know, then what do you do when you trap, and it's alive, you take it to a park or something let loose. I mean, you just kinda pass the baton on. But thanks pay. Thank you very much. Sterling is in Kirkwood. I sterling high I gonna. Ask you about grass, what kind of a mix would you recommend for this area? Basically. If you buy side is going to let's say you wanted a fescue mix, which I think that is the best mix as far as C goes the side is going to be ninety percent fescue. But it has because it is side. It'll be ten percent bluegrass because that's what holds a fescue together because the fescue is a clump grower. And if you had side was just a hundred percent fescue it would fall apart. So that's why they put the bluegrass in with the fescue. But if I was just buying seed. I'd say a fescue blend. Okay. And is there any particular place that you would go to to buy seed? No, I would probably look though, and you know, garden center year round garden centers is probably gonna have goods, you know, let's say new seed, but check the bag if it's a place where you might be a little bit suspect, and they should be a date on the bag when it was harvested, make sure it wasn't really too old because sometimes I've seen it in places various places where the seed has been two or three years old in the bags still closed. Everything you would think would be fine, but the c can just age even within the bag. And what kind of I've heard you say put compost on top of the of the the area that you see. And is there anything else you can put like just some topsoil or now don't put topsoil because it's just going to wash away and the composts actually just melts down into the ground. That's the topsoil wurley won't. So the cooperation would be the ideal thing to do first. And then go from that from that standpoint. And then put the seat down. And then the, you know, the compost on top of that. But corporation is the ideal thing if you don't do that just I would say see down with a top dressing of a quarter inch or half inch had the most of compost. Okay. I can neither confirm nor deny that. I've crap moles. But the the best tool that I had was the those scissor types of lull tramps, they're they're they're quick. They're they're the least, you know, there's the most merciful. Wow. This is a mole traffic Taifa day. Well, thank sterling greatly. Appreciate it. And now, let's go to Laurie in Manchester. Hi, lori. Hi, mike. How are you? Doing this morning. I'm great. I have great news. I do not have a mole question. Or a comment. Comment, right. Have a friend in south city who has a very nice bed. It's probably about twelve foot by seven foot, and he planted it up with tomatoes and cucumbers last year. We're on the ground, and we great cucumber harvest. I mean, it was just unbelievable. How many got out of there? But the tomatoes the plants grew like crazy crazy crazy, and they were tomatoes on the plants, but they never turned away. I mean, just hundreds of them, and I didn't know if you've heard of that happening last year trying to prevent it again this year, maybe something he watered it very hardly every day. Maybe that's part of it. But I'm not really sure like to see some tomatoes out of that that this year, right, basically, if hopefully using tomato food fertilizer for your tomatoes, and the tomatoes are really a tough one. We always want to get the tomato varieties that have ESPN that doesn't necessarily mean or have anything to do with the ripening process. But that's just the ones that are more resistant to disease problems, and the tomato food has a calcium in it, which prevents blossoming rod, but other than that if you know what I'd probably do have a tendency not. Not necessarily let the tomato plants just grow and grow and grow and grow. Maybe you know, let's say keep the size down, height wise, and then make it's what that does is make it. So there's going to be less flowering less fruit set, and maybe the plan will have an opportunity to your you'll have an opportunity to get some ripe tomatoes. Yeah. I mean, they they grew out of the cages I mean, it was just it was really quite uncontrollable, actually. And it was it was great that we have so many plants that were doing something, but the volumes would show up and then the tomatoes are show up. And then nothing I mean, they would just sit there and never turned red. And it gets pretty good sun during the day. It's just I so just how would you recommend keeping those tomatoes? Produce. Well. Well, it depends upon variety. I would say I don't know what once you were actually growing, but maybe try some cherry tomatoes or some grape tomatoes. Yeah. Uh-huh. He had some of those. But then he had some of the regular big voters that I'm a big boy, there's all kinds of different types. But it's. Other than the amount of sun. That's usually what makes the actually tomato start ripening. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Yeah. And and water every day for sure. It doesn't have to be every day. They do like a lot of water. But so that's shouldn't have any impact on the ripening. It was just really weird. I mean, the cucumbers were going crazy, but the tomatoes work doing nothing and trying to figure out what we did wrong. Kick those cucumbers out. Oh, really? Yeah. Well, and space it tomatoes a little bit more. Maybe they're overshadowing each other. And that's why the fruits weren't actually, you know, getting enough sunlight to ripen. Well, the cucumbers are on the ground. I know. But I mean, if the tomatoes are big they could be overshadowing each other true. Okay. Very good. All right. Very good. Thanks, mike. Make sure that you cut a an inch or so off the bottom of the trunk and then put it in to water immediately. Let's say you can't bring it inside. And mealy still go ahead and cut it and just put it in a bucket of water either in your garage or outside or something like that. Because that's going to be to the advantage. It's gonna make the needles hang on let little longer to be honest with you. I've been surprised at how many people when it was still remember now December, of course, that were, you know, had the Christmas trees already purchased they were tied up to the top of their cars and everything else, but got our own schedule. So let's go to Bob now. And he's a no Fallon. Hi, bob. Good morning. I two quick questions on a tree need to cut a tree back. I've done it before. And I know you tell us to trim it back and cut it back. No more than one third maximum. So my question is you normally say to make sure the leaves off the tree, and I've got about ten maybe ten or fifteen. Percents leaves still the tree. Can I cut that thing back yet or not? Oh, yeah. You can do it. I mean, just it's just easier to see the branches and everything else. But if you're only got that small percentage of leaves on it. They're just hanging on because they haven't let go yet based very good. And then fertilizing the tree I've heard your method of drilling holes and using fertilizer compost into holes. Right. How late in the winter or how early in the spring. Can I do that? You can basically do it anytime you want so during the dormant season. So as soon as you want to get out there and with an earth auger in electric Joe bid and just back fill those holes with compost start about halfway out from the trunk induce full circle around then go move out another couple feed than another circle around. And you do it all the way to just beyond the extension of the branches. Wow. All right. Thank you very much. Yeah. So it's going to be a lot of you know, let's say auguring, but it's not problematic and the say the dirt that comes up out of the hole, you want the whole to be about six inches deep, and the reason for that is because all the feeder routes up near the surface. So that's why you don't need to go any deeper than that. So it's it's really kind of wild and crazy. Thanks, bob. Is there another question? I could've no, sir. I could've asked the grass that questions about where they are. Let's go now to oh, I can't hear you know. That's all. Thank you very much. Well, thank you. Yeah. Let's go now to Mary Ann or you want to go to Mark Mark and Highland. Hi. Mark. Hello. Hi, go ahead..

"To the Saint Louis composting garden hotline once, again here's Mike Miller, on KOMO wax this past let's say I guess it was Wednesday What I. Have around my house I have about a three foot wide steel edged area of. Rock you. Know rainy rock Merrimack. River rock our river rock the tan stuff because I have the brick on our house is kind of brownish Tam. Saw that's what I chose but when I was walking around taking a look at. Things I saw for the first time this season hin bit so when I was coming up in the rock shows you, how tough it is so landscape fabric doesn't essay prevent other weeds from coming in in Germany and sitting the roots down through. The landscape fabric but Henbit is one of the. Annual cool season weeds that putting him. Pre emergent down this time, of year helps. Eliminate, them so start. Watching out for him bit dead nettle, they're, both varieties. Of lambs, common Schick we'd annual bluegrass prickly lettuce the. Persian speed, well rabbit's foot clover shepherds Purse so those. Are the main weeds that are germinating right now so getting pre merging down what does it do it creates a. Chemical barrier and then as a seat's pops open and starts growing the chemical barrier. Kills it so that's the advantage of it so I need to get some rain to put on my rock areas so, I don't have things coming up I was just shocked to see that hin bed anyway let's go down to Arnold south and. Indoor says yard high doors hi how are you. My very good enjoy your show just. A couple of quick questions, what is the. Best, thing to transplant, hydrangea You could probably do it anytime you want to but the ideal time would be some time in the fall when the. Ground, is warm so I? Don't know how big? It. Is, or anything else but you, gotta make sure that you water the night before and then go out and where the stems. Are. Coming up out, of the ground guate- bat six inches, all the way around and dig up. The root ball Gotcha Gotcha and also the best time to. Trim our have trees trimmed, depends upon the type? Of the tree Maples birches. And beech trees they can be pruned during the summertime, but the other ones like. The oaks and sweet gums and. Sycamore and things like that is better off for those to be done in the wintertime oh you after a. Freeze is what you're saying yeah well after the fully. Starts falling the fully starts this coloring or colouring depending upon how. Well, the fall colors? Going to be. Okay so you've. Got you've got multiple months for. Each one the other ones that can? Be Pruned in. The, summertime the Birch beech? In Maples you've got? Basically. From, June all the way up, until this time of year and with the other ones when the Foley starts turning colors and. You. Know dropping whether, it's turns color just drops Brown doesn't. Matter until the new growth begins Gotcha now on the maple so that we could. Enjoy. The full. Foliage to. It, would it be all. Right. To wait until after the leaves start dropping in order to have. Them, trimmed. Well maple. Should, be pruned in the summertime oh okay so Maples beech and Birch summertime is an. Ideal time to do the pruning on those trees, okay all right all right well thank you very much certainly now let's go. To from Arnold over to Chester Eleanor industry jarred hi Steve? Hi there a I got like four, acres? Of ground here. And I've seated it with three acres I've seen it with Kentucky thirty, one tall fescue and the. Other acre around the house I did with a Perth type fescue is there. Any way to get that line out of there like thirty one is a lighter, green right the darker, green basically. He should have just kind of blended together At that transition. Point, okay. Get a. Person, go back in there and recede over now absolutely would which one would you go. With the lighter one young well it depends upon, your own preference but a single variety of one is not ideal so having. A blend of something is actually really good so what I? Do is get some each and at, that? Transition point I. Would spread the seed of both of them together Okay Okay I'll try that. Then see how it. Works good. Luck Okay thank you, much yeah I mean you've got a pretty good sized. Lawn so, you. Must spend a, lot of. Time, mowing grass so thanks Dave and Alice go stay. In, Illinois. Go. Up to would river from Chester indicates jarred. Hi Keith Why are you doing. Very, good I got Georgia yards Back worse I got crabgrass growing adult side taking, muzzle over, most. Of you know right I guess that's what you, call grab, grass Coli grows in clumps right Now I'm going around trying to dig us all out and I knew I couldn't, get all the routes out but what? Should I do that way it is basically wait until next year and, crabgrass is a warm season we'd so when the yellow forsythias in bloom or get us soil thermometer and when you're soil temperature and your yard is between fifty and fifty five put the pre emergent down Okay How how about? Line how should you learn one server so many? Years, no you should. Not basically if you have a soil tests done and you find out your soil is extremely acidic putting lime. Down, yes but for the most, part lawn trees, plants everything like a slightly acidic. Soil so putting down could be having a tremendously adverse impact on your plan. Material so the university of Missouri did. Studies they say plant material does best when the soil ph is between six and six. Point, five seven is not anything above. Seven that's Is not ideal for your, plan materials certain ones like lilacs commanders. They wanna more alkaline soil but for the most part plant material does not like? You know let's say a Limy soil so routinely? Putting, lime down is. Not to the advance your plant material at all unless you get a soil test done and the soil tests. Says. Like somebody called a couple, of weeks ago, and said there saw tests indicated. There soil ph was four point five I said how could it be that. Low that just seems impossible but if. It is something like that low then you should be putting lime down but other than. That, you should not routinely put lime. Down One of the things that It is In putting down for. My yard Okay yeah that's fine I mean it's a very low analysis type fertilizer Okay well thank you for your info certainly yeah I mean the whole lime thing where people thought routinely putting lime. Down. Was going to be t the vantage of. Plant material is? Not. Right, so let's. Go to, Chris infant and Chris how are you Today very good okay three questions if I'm repotting do I. Need potty mix potting soil potting? Mix a mix. Okay. Next, question I have a area. That's. About. Nineteen years, old capped it off at about three feet and it has shot up four new branches that are really lush in lots of. Leaves. No flowers what do I need to do. Leave it alone Oh okay it's on new, stems or branches implementary or anything it could take a. While before he is. Going, to. Be, able to have say. The energy to. Produce, flowers. Okay okay. And. My last. Question is when did they set the flowers it's, happening right, now okay so? Don't. Trim right exactly anything flowers in the springtime the flower sets. You know the buds start forming in late summer early fall and then are fully formed by the time let's say winter begins okay perfect. Well thank you very much I? Appreciate it yeah Mike Miller. K. ours garden hotline. Back, after. These, messages yes it's that..

"He he's not showing any signs but but jackie just for the sake of argument sure if kyw re did say this and i have no reason to believe he didn't know knowing on your your tom tom it is in the it is in the handbook it's it's farther down the list in the handbook let me give you an example mike miller who was a who i am close with that i think is a great guy when mike miller was amnestied by the heat in november the old amnesty process is rife a player got wave that he would go through this this sort of drafted in teams could say all right i bid 500000 on this player i'd be a two million on this player and you would take up a portion of that person's remaining salary and wherever bid the highest scott the player we saw it really only happen to a handful of players so mike miller was amnestied at the time the calves had designs on trying to get lebrun and they wanted to get mike miller may be too two i play in thin ice lebrun so the cavs were making noise like they were going to make a bid for mike miller and i don't know if anybody else is going to make a bid so if they had made any sort of did they probably in fact nobody did make a bit he slipped through waivers had the cavs even offer one dollar they would have gotten them and mike miller leaked a story that he needed back surgery and the cavs don't have the opportunity in a in a waiver process you'll have the opportunity to examine the guy.

"What i want to be he is the easiest rolled us i read so where he has the easiest role to win the super bowl that's unreligious history and that's like that's one quick uh the other one other quarterbacks shouldn't even be there everybody take every other do you accept those you've got you've got home city should have been there for schurbon there rudy user playing on house money rationale okay what's number three so they're ready there it is where you'll know what i mean like they already reached where did they should up number three how bad would it be to lose against the worst squatter fat in the nfl worst starter in of all right up it's just say i'm exaggerating or to lose okay so you when this was the move against the back up i you got your got you 3point argument i could just do it quickly becomes an issue with mike miller has to say first i got two time in va champion six man of the year rookie of the year mike miller in here mike miller who has the most pressure football knowledge and i was i will say this i'm actually siding with you on this one will i if you talk about life pressures of blake boral's the way everyone's talking about a he might be out of a job if he loses right the they'll be looking for replacement right that to me is the most pressure in the world that's your job your life is on the line you're adding blade boroughs has more lose so you won't into these moments basketball volleyball and you realize i've got potentially ten million dollars promotion starting job or back into the job pool you'll get another job we won't get same kind of money you you think about that that weighs on he i mean i i i mean obviously in in that and that filled rulers only thirty of those jobs yes i mean because if you the way he's been talked about i've actually lie i love the fact that these here because the way he's been talked about is is to me is he's shown who years and the fact that he went to pittsburgh and scores 45 points and.
