Maybe not as hard, but they're going to be more more people dying the death toll is closer to 4000 now when you count the Hamas fighters That were killed inside Israel according to the Israeli Defense Forces. They say 1300 Israelis were killed 1300 in Gaza killed 1500 dead Hamas fighters and it's important to know that people 36 countries were killed in this conflict so far and their numbers are continuing to We rise. know that 25 Americans are dead and that number may continue to change mark the Israeli military has prepared for a ground war in Gaza. What are we hearing about Israel's plans for this and for tracking down those responsible for last weekend's attack? Well the Israeli Defense that they Forces have have 300 told me that ,000 Israeli fighters as we've been reporting or rather reservist on on the southern border or going there. That spokesman said that they're clearing up southern Israel they're closing the border they're striking Hamas heavily inside Gaza using their Air Force. They're striking military targets hitting command centers and he said hunting down their commanders and it's important to note they say that now there may be some clues as to where these people are because if you remember if you saw any of that social media on Saturday during the invasion there were a number of Hamas fighters and using digital mobile devices to document the carnage and all those devices have digital exhaust so I'm sure in the chaos it's unlikely they turned them off when they returned to Gaza so that's a clue that will help IDF and others track them down. JJ, you and I talked about this issue yesterday and I understand you've learned a bit more about whether there were any weapons ahead of the attack by Hamas. Yeah Mark, there's been lots of talk about this and now there's a bit of credibility being added to this. Representative Mike McCaul, a Republican from Texas who's chairman the of House Foreign Affairs Committee who's led a classified briefing has told reporters that there was a failure of intelligence and he said quote we know that Egypt had warned the Israelis three days prior that an event like this could happen. These are McCaul's words to reporters but the thing is it's not clear at what level of the government that warning came. He as said well that they knew, at least the Egyptians did, that this was being planned as long as a year ago. So I'm pretty sure there were some warnings that as we mentioned before the question is with all that's going on inside of Israel and has been going on within the last six months or so it's very likely that it slipped through the crack but the most important thing right now is what they're dealing with and what they're doing and what the people in Gaza as well as in Israel are going through all because that of were these associated terrorists with Hamas. Appreciate it JJ that's our national security correspondent JJ Green. New this morning Social Security recipients will receive a 3 .2 percent increase in their benefits next year. On Capitol Hill Republicans inching closer toward electing a House Speaker after narrowly voting to make majority leader Steve Scalise their nominee. But more much needs to be done before a speaker is elected. The latest from WTOP's Mitchell Miller today Hill. on the Scalise still needs to convince supporters of his opponent for the speakership Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan to back him. And Scalise recognizes there's pressure on House Republicans to come together soon especially with the ongoing crisis in the Middle East. We have a lot of work to do not just in the House for the people of this country but we see how dangerous of a world it is. Many Republicans especially those involved in foreign affairs and intelligence are anxious to see the GOP finally get to a House vote and approve Scalise. When a lot of the vendors are cloud first, it doesn't matter that it's cloud first or not honestly, but when you are cloud first, you don't need to make infrastructure changes. "Here's what he said. They're a group of congressional Extremists some call them terrorists who simply have required the speaker to meet a list of Republicans for their votes to avoid a government shutdown Asked him if the speaker could control what he called terrorists. He actually seemed to think so, He would be I guess a voice in the wilderness on that. Yeah, I mean granted McCarthy to this This point has been able to all of the must -pass bills have passed to this point He got the debt ceiling deal And it's now in shreds. And the question is can he kind of repeat that miracle this time around? Maybe that's a little bit more uncertain. Maybe Mike Doerning has it figured out. He's with us now on sound on of course Bloomberg politics reporter Mike you've been covering Capitol Hill for a minute. Is Kaylee Rice is gonna take a miracle It's looking pretty unlikely that they're going to be able to a shutdown. avert That said, when these deals come together, they come together At the very end my colleague Steve Dennis who's covered the Senate a long time Always has this joke. It's no no no no no no no no. Yes, but here it looks Like there are enough elements in the Republican Party that really just want to shut down that It's that unlikely they'll be able to avoid it with some shelter Well, it becomes a question of exactly when that shutdown comes Mike if it comes on September 30th or right after when it's expired or if he could while not being able to pass all the Continuing resolution pass a kicking of the can down the road to you know, say November does even that still look hard to do it's still sort of listen. It's never a good sign When the Speaker of the House is telling his conference his party bring it on if you want On seat go bring the motion. That's not a sign that works really well. I My could many years of sophistication can tell me that gone through this period where this past week we just trying to come up with an Internal position Republican for the house never mind actually negotiate anything With the Democrats or the White House has just gotten worse and harder and they're all at others throats now They'll probably be able to get beyond that at some point. But the The reason why they're having so much trouble is that there is a significant portion of The House Republicans that are bound and determined to go to the math and they Are enough they're a large enough group to unseat McCarthy There are other Republicans in the house now who are urging the speaker to bring The defense spending bill to the floor Hal Rogers, Kentucky Dave Joyce of both talking to Politico they say just put it put it on the floor for an up or down vote and Dare the mutinous Republicans to oppose it as Politico writes. Is there a strategy there? I mean the strategy is people like Hal Rogers and the rest of them are on the opposite side of these hardliners. That might work but it's not necessarily likely to work. This speaker has lost even some procedural votes because he's tried that strategy and that daring strategy they have been willing to vote no at least to bring down rules and they would have the explanation here they that are trying to bring down federal spending and that they're determined to do that here and these Republicans who are behind this are not really in a lot of danger in their districts. They come from deep red districts and their very strong stride and style plays very well in their own districts. Moreover, it gets them more money in terms of small dollar contributions. So this traditional from idea people like Hal Rogers and people in part of the national security establishment of the Republican Party or the sort of Main Street establishment part of the Republican Party that this will be too embarrassing, I don't think has proven to be effective with these hard So of course the hardliners have issues with a number of things. One of them though being funding for Ukraine, Mike, and we have news confirmation today that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is going be to in Washington next week after the United Nations General Assembly at the White House and on Capitol Hill. What kind of reception is he going to get? Can he actually change the minds of those in Congress who are on stop sending them money? Well, I think he can buck up the people that are on the side to the send money to really stick to their guns and that's going to be important for him. This is going to be time very well spent for President Zelensky to buck up people like Mitch McConnell, people like Mike McCaul, people who are part of the national security movement within the Republicans to insist that there be aid to Ukraine in there. So, I think will there be time well spent, it will be effective. I don't know that he'll turn around the other people that easily. Well, that's I guess the big question here, but there's more to this than just Ukraine and defense spending. Mike, if you talk to Chip Roy or Andy Biggs or others on the Freedom Caucus, they want cuts. They were not satisfied with the debt ceiling deal that Speaker McCarthy cut with the House. White It's not really a deal any longer. If they cannot exact the cuts they want, can Speaker McCarthy gets something passed without them is the question, I suppose. He's not ingratiating himself to Democrats right now by launching an impeachment inquiry, is he? Yeah, I think that where you're seeing a breakdown there is there had been this implicit idea that were the hardliners, and not even implicit, some people openly said it, were the hardliners to try to unseat McCarthy, at least some Democrats would be willing to come to his aid and make up those votes so he could stay speaker. I do think that if McCarthy that McCarthy can propose legislation that would appeal to both Democrats and out of Republicans, he could still get Democrats to vote with him for, you know, temporary the measure keeping the government open, that they wouldn't, out of spite over the impeachment thing, block a temporary resolution to keep the government open. But the impeachment effort is probably weakening the support you might get from Democrats in a fight over housing McCarthy. Here he's going to just have to decide he can reach something acceptable where he's going to take some Democratic support and some moderate Republican support and leave the hardliners behind, just as he did with the Yeah. Mike Doerning, thanks for the insights. As always, have a great weekend. And known for their brutal hostage taking. What part of them being the enemy of these Is this administration having a hard time? Understanding is what this guy Blinken is a moron. Listening. As of now the Taliban are not permitting, Um um, charter flights to depart. They claim that some of the passengers do not have the required documentation. He says that it says this at a joint pressure alongside the German foreign minister. Blinken adds, The U. S is limited in its ability to intervene in the crisis in Afghanistan without having personnel on the ground while you idiot, can you explain to us Why you didn't speed up the withdrawal? Why? Joe Biden and his defense secretary of national security adviser and his joint Chiefs members? Why didn't he push back the Taliban the way Donald Trump said he would if they dared Move forward with any geopolitical geographical ambitions. In other words, Why didn't you withdraw while you were in full, complete and total control as they were on the march? You know, they had 60% of Afghanistan and you're telling us Joe Biden was telling the world one of the best trained armies in the entire world. Militaries in the world? David have an air force. And then blinking ads. On top of that. But insisted that the US is working. We We don't have any personnel on the ground so we can intervene. Well, why did you pull the personnel? Why did you allow it to get to this point? You know, just basic questions. We are working to do everything in our power to support those flights and get them off the ground. That's that's not true what he said. And he points out that these non governmental organizations are called NGOs if you're interested. Um and individuals don't have all of the documentation required. Blinken said that these chartered planes could not land in the U. S. And Jen Psaki supported it. And said that they would not give permission of another country agreed to take those chartered flights but needed State Department approval. It would not be forthcoming. You're on your own drop dead. In other words. Anyway, these Americans are stepping up trying to help. There's a lot of efforts going on, and it is so frustrating what they're doing. The Taliban, repeatedly, saying any Afghans who want to travel and have appropriate documents will do so more than 100 countries of affirm their expectation the Taliban will honor that pledge. We're now counting on the terrorists to honor their word. Okay? How stupid are you? You can't be any dumber than this. You know, we had Congressman Mike McCaul on guess Fox News six planes attempting to leave. We have them these six airplanes with American citizens on them as I speak. With interpreters. You know the allies that are going to get killed eventually because the Taliban has the list of everyone that helped us is now in the Taliban is holding them hostage for demands. That's what McCall said. What did I tell you? What happen? They're going to hold them hostage because they want money. Jen Psaki noted a number of these planes seeking to depart Afghanistan may have a handful of Americans, but they may have several 100 individuals who do not have proper documentation. Get the Americans the hell out of there. Find a country where they can land have enough Americans on the ground and then the vetting process can start. We can find a holding position for them. Just like you built the cages for kids down at the border if need be. Better, often in your cages for kids in the middle of a pandemic than they are in Afghanistan. It's just unbelievable. Peter.

"It is just part of the ridiculousness. Well, that was in response to Who is it? Jonathan Turley. Yeah. Jonathan Turley, who has decided that he is now a lawyer for white supremacy. He is the apologist lawyer for white supremacy. And he now I don't recall hearing him say anything about George Floyd. Or about Elijah Green or as a large your job don't or or any of the African Americans who were just gunned down for merely existing or murdered. For merely existing. You know the case. I believe it was in Michigan, where the boy had a toy. Yeah, he was. He was like 12 years old policeman shot him before the car even stopped through his car window. Don't hear him saying anything about that. There is two sets of laws here. Okay, I'm gonna owner You know, I understand when there are situations where law enforcement may and may not have to shoot, but Ashley Babbitt as a security policeman in the Air Force, did what we call breaking red. You never break that red line. They will either tackle you, but if you continue, they was off. They are authorized to shoot you dead. Try this at joint base. Andrews Air Force One is station. Try crashing the front gate. They will. They won't chase you. They will gun you down. Yeah. You know, they may take you into custody. But let me tell you something. If it looks like you're a real threat, and that's what this officer saw was a threat to the red line against democracy. They are going to use and are authorized to use lethal force. Yeah. So I've been dying to talk to you about Afghanistan because the president God bless him has gotten us out of this ended the 20 year war with the most successful evacuation in history, Right 124,000 people, you brought attention to Robert Young Pelton on Twitter. You said. I've known him for years and he knows what he's talking about. When it comes to Afghanistan, he said. A number of Florida based politicians and Americans working remotely are trying to create a Benghazi two point Oh, With the propped up narrative. The Biden has left Americans to die in a hostile Islamic nation. They're legit groups working on S. I V s, but instigators are amping up the drama. These are these private charters they're trying to do, And then they go on Fox and say it's a hostage crisis and the Taliban is holding Americans hostage because of Joe Biden when they don't have The correct paperwork, but the Taliban as far as I can understand, it's not holding anyone hostage. It's because they're not doing it through the State Department or the Biden administration. They're doing it to try to trip the Biden administration up. Am I reading that wrong? The situation that's unfolding in Mazar I Sharif, for example, um are six chartered aircraft. Afghan local Afghan, um, civilian charters. That were charted by Glenn Beck. Thank you tune of $780,000 each and Glenn Beck thought he's just going to go there by local aircraft leased local aircraft. Fly them there, fly out all of these American citizens. Well, there's some things that you need to understand. Right. Okay. The Taliban may have been a terroristic regime, a massage, honesty, patriarchal tribal society, but they now run the government of Afghanistan. Right. They have a say and as you can, and cannot leave that country, so they control their airspace. Kam Air, which is the Afghan airline, he chartered. Runs by thereby you lit by their week. So instead of allowing the diplomacy to allow these aircraft to go because they don't know, you know Glenn Beck and all the rest of them are saying that there was a hostage situation, right grandstanding to try to make Biden look bad. And can I, You know, the United Arab Emirates just arrested six people on August 31st. Flew into the E with weapons from the United States on private jets, thinking they were just going to fly into Afghanistan and start doing the Chuck Norris hostage rescue every time one of these incidents happens. You endanger the lives of American citizens. Thank you, right. I mean, when you go into these countries with weapons, you're now the bad guy. Yeah, it's his grandstanding. Congressmen that flew in and took seats that Americans should have taken on flights going out of Afghan Anyway, Let me just tell you the Taliban, you have to worry about. It's the local tribes that run that country, right? And they will turn you into the Taliban. They will you will endanger the life of every American citizen there. So. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken tonight yesterday reports that the Taliban had blocked Americans attempting to fly out of Afghanistan but said the group had not allowed charter flights depart because some people lack valid travel documents. Reports have emerged that 1000 people, including Americans have been stuck at the airport for days waiting clearance for their charter flights. One organizer blamed the delay on the State Department, the State Department. Criticism echoed by some Republicans. Well, this is what happens when you don't coordinate with our State Department and you're just grandstanding and try to make Biden look bad. It is anti American. I keep saying this there on the side of America's enemies, whether it's Russia and their anti vax nonsense, whether it's uh You know they're on the side of covid. Basically there on the side of January six insurrectionists. I mean, this is what this is the the people people are openly rooting for the Taliban. Right that it makes Biden look bad. Yeah, dial it back to grandstanding. All of this is about And you know, there are hundreds of thousands of people that want to get out of Afghanistan that are qualified to leave that country, right? But there are also millions of economic refugees. You know, I've mentioned this before. There are 4500 Afghans. Being held by Australia that had managed to make their way down to Indonesia and Malaysia and get on boats to enter into Australia over the last 20 years. Because they want to go to a better life. There are 38 million Afghans and what we can do is we can't take every one of them. So it's 1000 people get onto a plane and say I work for the Americans, but don't have one document. You can't let them go. You can't. You can't take everybody. Well, that's an unfortunately there are people who are really qualified. Yes to go on these flights who are now being blocked? You know you have these. You have these grandstand teams coming down there and you know what they're doing. They are burning the pathways out. For everyone in the faction. Thank you. Because the first thing they do is they run to a newspaper and say I rescue two Afghan? Yeah, but now you've left 100,000. Thank you. Thank the Taliban are waiting. Yeah, so, Blinken said one of the main challenges around the charter flights. Attempting to part with some people lack the valid travel documents, as you just said, which effectively blocked the departure of the entire group. And it's my understand the Taliban has not denied exit to anyone holding a valid document. But they have said those without valid documents at this point can't leave because all these people are grouped together. That's meant that flights have not been allowed to go. Lincoln added, the Taliban were upholding their commitment to allow Americans with valid travel documents to leave. We are not aware of anyone being held on the aircraft or any hostage like situation. Um, yeah, this is Mike McCaul. That's the guy. Republican went on Fox News Malcolm and said, Uh, the Taliban were holding passengers hostage for demands. I mean, this is despicable anti American just chaos agents doing this, he, Blinken said. The U. S has no means to verify the accuracy of passenger manifests, among other issues, he said. These raised real concerns. But we're working through each and everyone in close coordination with the various initiatives and charter flights that are seeking to evacuate people, But I just want to emphasize there are a lot of issues to work through. But you know you're right. They gotta hurry and go on Fox news and say there's a hostage situation and it's Joe Biden's fault. Yeah, You know, I was the chief of a school called the advanced terrorism, abduction and Hostage Survival School. And let me tell you something. So what was the demand? What was it specifically, the Taliban said they wanted in order to release those people. If it was accurate travel documents and right now, I mean, they've been letting people who have worked with the Americans leave. Actually have letters of commendation who have these things, and it's dangerous to go out there and tell the Taliban that the Taliban is not a human, a homogeneous organization. It is made up of individuals from tribes and all other organizations. The leader of the Taliban had a hard time getting journalists freed yesterday by his own forces because they come from different tribes. What these people are doing is they are taking situations that they have created..

"Congressman Mike McCaul this weekend on Chris Wallace? The show saying what we all knew, folks, This is one of those times again. I I prayed Prayed. I was wrong. I wish I was wrong. Joe Biden left Americans stranded behind enemy lines with the Taliban child bride taking women hating monsters. He's medieval savages. And now what? Liberals are playing surprise that we now have a potential hostage situation breaking out in Afghanistan, where they won't let our people leave the country. Here's Mike McCaul on Fox News this weekend, talking about just that to a stunned Chris Wallace. Check this since we left the country on Friday. How many Americans have gotten out of Afghanistan since we pulled out how many Afghan allies have gotten out since the Taliban was in complete control of the country? I understand zero And in fact, we have six airplanes at Maza Sharif Airport, six airplanes with American citizens on them as I speak also with these interpreters. And the Taliban is holding them hostage for demands right now they we have state is cleared these fights and the Taliban will not let them leave the airport. So I'm sorry. The answer to your question is zero, and that's my concern is they're going to demand more and more, whether be cash or legitimacy as the government of Afghanistan. Let's everybody pretend we're shocked. Oh, my gosh. What a shocker. The Biden administration caught off guard that when you leave American citizens behind enemy lines with a bunch of women hating medieval savages that all of a sudden they want to use them as a bargaining chip for more. Oh, my gosh. That's crazy. Crazy pills time. How did we all miss this? Yeah, Yeah. Yeah. None of us missed this. Only liberal morons missed this. And they're speaking of liberal morals. So there was a guy on Twitter, apparently some kind of editor for Newsweek or editor at large or whatever. Naveed Jamali, who actually tweeted this? This is not a joke. This is not satire. He said. No, no, no, no worry Spell is here's the quote, Ladies. Don't worry about it. He tweeted this. There's no hostages here. Don't worry, he said. Also, the planes are being denied clearance. Not the people. Yes, that's a pretty big distinction. Jim. Fake news. No hostages right total fake news figures. Don't worry, folks that people are not being held Americans and people. We went out. They are not being held hostage. It's just the Taliban won't let the planes there on lead, as if the planes are piloted by some other sentient being from another. Universe with Jupiter like Jupiter, Terrians, are there were Martians or something like that. Don't worries, Naveed Jamali says Just the planes are being told not to leave. No worries, folks. They're definitely not hostages, no worries.

Want to talk about Joe visiting the Northeast or Louisiana or whatever, but they don't want to. I want Afghanistan that's for sure. Well, what's I know who does want to talk about it? And then some D C unit and national correspondent Michael Barr follow me on Twitter at the bar show Michael. What's the latest from there? Well, Jimmy, there's a whole bunch of weirdness going off on with Afghanistan. Still, we're hearing that there are people saying that we could have as many as 2000 U. S embassy contractors and an immediate family members, all of whom had worked at the embassy for more than a decade that are still in Afghanistan. The State Department Declining to comment on any numbers whatsoever. And so you've seen some Republicans step up and they said, Look, Mr President, we need to know from you exactly how many people are waiting to be evacuated What we are doing on some level as a country to try to get those people evacuated. And over the weekend you saw reports, according to Mike McCaul, the Republican from Texas that at least four baby as many as six chartered planes. With several 100 intended. Passengers that were trying to evacuate Afghanistan have been unable to leave Afghanistan for days that on some level according to McCall, that's the Taliban holding them hostage. Not as in. Hey, we've got a bomb on the plane. Unless you give us money. We're going to blow it up more like Hey, we're going to put a bunch of red tape here together. We're not going to let those flights leave because you know we got a lot going on here and so we're not really going to. It's not a priority for us to get those planes off the ground. Unless, of course, the United States would like to recognize us as the governmental power in Afghanistan right now. And then, of course, also release the funds that they put on hold. Once the Taliban took over Afghanistan. You want to do something like that? Perhaps the red tape gets a little bit thinner. That kind of a hostage situation now, according to some Afghans on the ground officials saying that the Afghans that were booked on those flights didn't have passports or they lack passports on some level didn't have visas and because of all of that, that's what the delay wasn't getting flights off the ground that since that time while they're waiting for this all to be sorted out, those people have left the airport, according to reports, so Again. Just trying to get everything in order. Try to find out what's going on. We see that Anthony Blinken, Secretary of State is over in Qatar tonight. Today. Technically got there yesterday to have discussions about this to see what kind of work can be pulled together. But so far, nobody at the State Department really willing to discuss anything having to do with Afghanistan right now. There were still some talk about the possibility of a civil war in Afghanistan to, uh but now the Taliban says they've taken over the last remaining valley. That was, uh You know, possibility of them losing what's up with that province, which is right north of Kabul, which they say again. This is for the Taliban. So take it for what it's worth. The Taliban says they tried to negotiate with people there to have the Taliban takeover and those folks over the last holdout not interested in just turning things over to the Taliban. So, the Taliban said thousands of fighters overran eight of the districts there, which officially now according to the Taliban are under their control. So in order to have a civil war like that, you know how Have to have somebody willing to fight the Taliban and outside of that small province or at least eight different districts in that small province. There doesn't seem to be anybody willing to fight the Taliban right now. Right, Um Doesn't mean that others won't help. A small group of fighters do that. But it seems like people who would benefit from Taliban not taking over the United States pulled out and Our allies in China and Russia would love the Taliban to stay there. So it looks like they're staying there at this point. Yeah, unless I mean Theoretically and Hollywood movie, you would have the former president of Afghanistan be able to rally some troops together that would come back in and take back over or be a part of, but I don't know that any of that's going to happen. It just didn't fall together in such a way that it felt like there were a number of Afghans who wanted to fight the people of Afghanistan. The people who the women who had their businesses that they were running. People who are going to schools would all like to have seen that happen, but didn't get that from their leadership or government in Afghanistan, So it's hard to believe that They're they're rallying the troops somewhere and getting ready to pull something together to take on the Taliban. So Yeah. Do we know what's going on with the former president of Afghanistan? Ghani? Is he still in the U, a E or summers and cutting? Yeah, That was what one of the reports were. Rumors were that he? That's where he went, and he tried to split with millions of dollars of money and go there and spend some time there. We I think that that hasn't officially been confirmed. As of yet, so we're not exactly sure where he is, and we've heard absolutely zero for the most part from him. Oh, you mean another dirtbag leader tries to make millions and billions of dollars from from his people and go. Oh, there's a shocker. Stunning. My gosh, it is, and Michael. Thank you. "5 18 on the Monday morning news here at W. B, A. P. Hal and Brian are off today. It's labor Day. Thanks for joining us, Scott said. We here with the rest of the crew. This Afghanistan situation is now kind of turning into a finger pointing He said, she said or he said, he said, I guess you could call it because depending on who you ask With this situation. Some people in the political sphere, saying it's fine. Others are saying we need to figure this out. Let's let's go to Congressman Mike McCaul from right here in Texas. Who has pretty much out here, saying, Look, there are six planes. In northern Afghanistan right now sitting on the tarmac, ready to go. With Americans ready to come home. But the problem is that the State Department Isn't giving it the green light. To come back for whatever reason. And let's take a listen to what Mike McCaul is saying. Zero and In fact, we have six airplanes at Maza Sharif Airport. Six airplanes with American citizens on them as I speak also with these interpreters, and the Taliban is holding them hostage for demands. Right now. They we have. The state has cleared these flights and the Taliban will not let them leave the airport. I think the word that sticks out there guys is hostage because that's that makes it sound. Pretty dang dangerous if they're not being allowed to leave. Now, here's where the finger pointing begins. Because the White House chief of staff Ron Clain, Said. Yeah, there's about 100 Americans. Still in Afghanistan, however. Many of them want to stay. So who were we believing here? You know Congressman Mike McCaul, who says Yes, we've got these American sitting on planes in the northern Afghanistan airport ready to go. Or the White House saying, Yeah, there's Americans there, but they kind of want to stay. Where government is allegedly doesn't really like them. Well, I mean, the White House has been has been right on about everything else. I mean, you could believe you take their stuff to the bank. You know, Afghan military is in no danger of collapsing. The Afghan government is fine. It's not going to fall for another three months. If Americans want to get out, we'll get him out by the 31st or not, if we have to stay later. We're gonna wait until the third after the 31st get some out, or, uh, like they said some Americans just don't want to come home, so they they've been right all along about all these things, so I think we can believe the White House version. Everything. Here's the exact quote from Ron claimed the chief of staff for the Biden administration. We believe it's around 100. 100. People still there. Americans were in touch with them. All we've been they've been identified. We know who they are. Obviously, we're hopeful that in coming days, the Qataris will resume Air service out of Kabul. If they do, we're going to look to see if Americans can be on those flights. Here's where he says it. We know many of them have family members, Many of them want to stay. The ones that want to leave. We're getting them out. Which isn't what Mike McCaul is saying. He's basically saying, we're waiting on a phone call, and we're not getting it. One. Part of the problem is that some of those American citizens have Afghan wives and husbands and Children. And they do not want their families just torn apart. So they're trying to get their families out to which is understandable. More audio on this story from some other folks in Washington after traffic on the ones here is Monte Cook. Pretty.

We have to condemn that we have to condemn anything that we saw in the so called summer of love. And I don't see anybody condemning that. You know, from the other side where we saw after the violence to people who are the government, to be honest with you for the people by the people in with the people, So you know, just because it happened in Washington, D C. Doesn't condone it there in order to condone it back in the streets of Chicago, Seattle or Portland, and I agree with you the difference being when that violence happening just from the D. C. Violence itself when the violence happened in Washington, D. C in the summer when the church was burned and other buildings were burned. I really went hard after the members of Congress on the left, who went out march with those protesters and talked about their right to be there, even though they were acting violently, that violence should never be Condoned by anyone. What made it worse for me was watching people carrying Trump flags and people that I knew were on my side of the aisle, Behaving justice badly by breaking into the place that is the beacon of freedom in the world. It is almost as in my opinion, almost as, um, they should have the same reverence as you do for a church when it comes to freedom in the United States Capitol. That's why I denounced it so hard. All right tonight. I fully agree with you, Mike. But it also represents. You know the tinderbox that we sit in this country with. We've seen a lacking in my remarks. I made the comment, You know? What is it to our Constitution? What is it worth? Our Constitution is a mere piece of paper. If we do not have hold it by the rule of law, And when if we had the rule of law now, in the last 12 years, we haven't seen it, Mike. And in America across the board is saying what what's going on in Washington, D. C. Why are we having this debate about our First Amendment? Our second Amendment, you know, and making sure that the people in their their rights are being protected. That's problematic here. And what happened happens when you're divided country When you're 50 50 split, not only in the country but in Congress. You have people that hotheads. It boils over and this is what becomes of it. It should not be Condoned at any step of the way. And the fuel in the fire. You know, we also have to look back here. You know, where is it? Where It's not my right to petition my government. You know, I had one of my colleagues. Rubin Guy Ego called me a treasonist. I just saw, you know Fox News where Mike McCaul, who was a former prosecutor, say I that we've perpetrated an illegal act. What kind of crap is that? That's sort of the particular incinerate gasoline with a fire on here, Right? Here's the right of freedom of speech is freedom of accountability. And if there was not accountability, you know, like in Arizona, if if the elections were reported in transparent and people said, Okay, this is this is the way they should. They should have been done, and here's how they were done and open the books. How less that the tension would have happened. But now what you do is you give people a little information and showed that there was there was there was fraud. Yes, there was fraud, and then you close the book. And then you filed charges against the Legislature that has Giulio oversight of the elections. Out breeds contempt in people's minds. That's why people need to have transparency. This could have been an opportunity for transparency and enabling people to say you know what our system worked. They were accountable. They're transparent. But now what we do is we build that insidious. What if type cause and when people are are pent up like they've been with code for Just February when you see us as a divided nation. What? What are you saying in there? Yeah, I was hurt, and I understand I I completely understand and agree with what you're saying moving forward. Is there going to be a movement for transparency in the elections? Is there going to be a fix so that in two years in the next election cycle, we aren't finding ourselves where the losing side is claiming fraud again. You might thank you very, very much. I could only take care of Arizona. I only represent Arizona and we're going to help make sure that that is a transparent process. Whether it takes it's pushing the Legislature whether take pushing the governor whether it takes pushing the secretary state whether push It takes pushing the board of Supervisors. You know, I started my part. What I did is I filed for your request to find out about all these issues and how the dishes so they can be brought to transparency and openness to the Arizona Republic to the public. Then we have to start saying what went wrong? How did you go wrong? I tell people go ahead and watch the movie kill trained HBO. This is done by the Democrats and it'll tell you all about everything you need to know about the Dominion voting machines. So what? It's not me saying this. This is them saying this and that is not it is unconstitutional for us not to investigate to make sure that people that were placed In the proper perspective are held accountable and that we have a free and thorough, transparent election that when we go to vote our voters cast with a person that we vote for appropriately and that there's no other aspect, but that All right, Congressman last question for you. President Trump tweeted out just a little less than an hour ago that he will not be attending the inauguration. You believe that's the right decision. You know, Mike? I don't know. You know, I have to leave it to him. I mean, look at the look of the vehement here. You know, you got Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi and others calling for him that that being two of the impeached or the 25th amendment How much do they hate an individual? I mean, for God's sake. You know, Look at your own backyard when you're talking about fueling the fire that fuels the fire, like no other And the same thing with my colleagues like Adam Kinzinger and Mike McCall. Stop telling people that it's an illegal action. It's not an illegal action. It is a constitutional action. It would what was their great success possibilities? No, but people expected us to fight the fight for their freedom, their rights and there's oversight of the federal government. So what I would say is, you know if that's going to cause a bigger headache. Then he probably should stay home..
