US reimposes UN sanctions on Iran amid increasing tensions

"Mike Pompeo says the U. S. Will impose U. N sanctions against Iran. The move is expected to get little support from US allies. The gesture comes after the White House failed to extend the conventional weapons embargo that is set to expire next month. Under the nuclear deal with Tehran. Other countries in the U. They then talked it out with Jason Tatum and Kemba Walker and Bride Stevens's room around one in the morning agent which Morales give ESPN had that is well yesterday. So this is a turning point for the Celtics and Are they going to fall apart or just going to be a rallying cry for them? Because there is one thing that's for certain the Celtics are a team right now. That can't close their close, but they can't cause it struggled to close against the Toronto Raptors. And they've struggled mightily to close against the Miami heat in games one and two of the Eastern Conference finals. And that is the reason why they're currently down, and that extends To the sidelines next since the coach Brad Stevens. You talk about Mike Budenholzer and some mistakes he made with the Bucks. The president says he now predicts hundreds of millions of vaccine doses will be made available early next year. We expect to have Enough vaccines for every American by April, the CDC director said this week. A working vaccine probably won't be available to the general public until late spring or early summer. Literal Jock Sniffer - Season 3, Episode 4 - burst 1

"Question. How did he do? Okay. So here's the thing about Joe Brown. This is why I think you like him so much. Oh, it's a really great quarterback that just plays hockey team. So he's like your deck Prescott your a bitch. I thought you were like the light bulb in my head went off last night when I was watching it. I was like, well, he's a good little quarterback like Dak Prescott. He just plays for no wonder Jasmine likes them so much. By the way, I have you know you Optimus Prime Don the word shity so it cut out on you said shity team. That's all right. I show you going to say that we were going to like look we could be an item now. I'm just disappointed. Oh, I'm sorry. Now he's to you guys wouldn't match very well. He's back to blonde hair doughy eyed, you know, he still has his dreams and happiness. I was just that his way too innocent for you. You know, you just strip him of all of it off. I would fare. I tend to do this with all men though. Let's be real I tend to slowly take away their hopes dreams, you know their desk for Life their happiness any kind of happiness life. It's it's what I do to all the men that are in my life. Okay, so so that's your analysis which fuck off so that's no that's my analysis regards to jobber. Okay, my analysis in regards to the Browns. All right. Here's the thing about the Browns obj less. Always he had headlines Amy. Okay. This team has a boss ass offense page. There is no reason why they shouldn't be scoring touchdowns all the fucking time. I mean think about the players that they have Nick Chubb Fremont who both went off last night Jarvis Landry. I mean you couldn't get you can get that is a fantasy leagues dream right here, right? Yep. There is no reason why this team shouldn't be amazing because you know what their defense is really cool. Good to this team should be really competitive and making the playoffs and they're not understand now Grandma, who knows what's going to happen tell you what happened last night watching this game Baker Mayfield just he changed into a different person. Like when he like a human in a good way in a good way when he came off the field. He didn't go and sit down on the bench. He stood on the sidelines and watched his defense playing and then he I mean he rallied those guys. He was not going down to Joe burrow. I mean, you could totally he's like, there's no fucking way. This guy's going to show me up and there's no way I'm losing to the fucking bangles and you know what he totally carried his team. He really truly did stepped up it was offensive. Now if they can do that every single weekend this team is really like it has all the weapons that it takes to be a fantastic team which made me. Made me Ponder the fact that there's some teams that you just expect to lose and then there's some teams that you expect to win like the team's you expect to when you expect the steel real attacks right now. You expect the Cal you expect to win. You don't expect the Lions or the Bangles or the Browns. I mean the low-hanging fruit, you know, you don't expect those teams to win. So when they have when they have rosters long, the Browns have their own turning into a team that you they should be winning with what they have. So it sounds to me that the Browns are basically like if you're looking at it from a fantasy league point, it's the guy in league who basically cheese his way to get the best team because everybody else is internet either sucked or they were on auto draft or they forgot there was a draft right? That's the guy in the if you're equating it to a fantasy team roster birth. Okay. Number one. I liked it. You know I prematurely said shut up about the Cowboys cuz I thought you were going to say that you expect them to lose and I like that you're saying that you expect them to win because that's what you do you absolutely suck. Oh you that's what we do problem. That's where we are a we are an elite Lord team. Anyway, that's what you're going with I am. Well, I don't know the baker Mayfield is still a shitstain to me so good for him rallying his team. He's still a shitstain. I do love his Progressive commercials their home like the latest one. Yes. They are the latest one where he's like. Oh, it's getting ready to rain. Help me cover the furniture. And two guys like you mean the stance he's really good in those commercials. If you could only be as good a quarter as he is in those commercials. We would be set the dog pound would be set. Well, we are you a dog pound or now. I mean, I you know, I have a soft spot for the Browns just cuz they always lose. And ever since that movie came out draft day with Kevin Costner yet. Oh, I'm out. I'm done with you. done with you Amy. Your brown spot is showing. I know I know you know, I just I'm weird that way I don't understand it. Either it is I don't either try to figure you out every day and I just you know, I do too and since I'm like, oh I get myself today and then sometimes I'm like now he's nope don't understand myself today, but that's okay. That's most of us as well. Amy. So rest assured you're not in Company by yourself. I think it is twenty-twenty it is. Okay. Well that's sad because now Joe burrow Hollow be his name Falls 200 and two. Yeah, it does and but you know what this guy he's he's a good quarterback. He is is there he should be in his helmet I think time to get mr. Guys. Sometimes he tries to carry his offense which isn't great because then he gets pummeled by pencil like he got pummeled last night several times. Well, you sure. Why does LSU brain sure what he's trying to win? And I totally get it. But at the same time he needs careful because you know, oh, he's a starting quarterback in the NFL. Well getting them know and you just see a lot of what he was doing at LSU that worked and I think you know like every rookie has this learning curve right where you come out transition from college to the big leagues and it's like, oh, okay, it's funny cuz I was like really different style of football right? I said to Bruce last night. I'm like, surprised that they just threw this guy in the deep end. I mean they just started. Oh totally, I mean, they didn't granted he dangles. What else do they have? I'm. That's the problem. They don't have anything else but you know like places in my where to get backing up Fitzpatrick that makes sense. It makes sense for him to kind of, you know way into the NFL same thing with Dwayne Haskins, you know, he he was back up for a while until he kind of learned his name. Yeah, now Joe girl, man. They just threw him in the deep and they're like here you go, bro, you go bu. Yeah. Well, you know what gotta he is trying I mean, he's playing his ass off out there. No he is but he is and that's why I'm like super team Joe burrow like we gotta do this man. Like I'm telling you. It's the stogie. We'll do it get this guy that mean that you're a Bengals fan know how fucking no. No, I like. Oh bji in a Browns fan. I like Joe burrow Ina Bengals fan, you know, I will always bleed silver and blue Amy. That's the only color I would leave home. Anyway, let's move on to the Chiefs. Okay, love us and Pat Mahomes you love some Andy Reid do that cheaper mofo back, right? So Andy Reid's big old windshield mask that he had on. When was it last week? I can't remember. Yeah. We're only in week to segregated windshield wipers. Yeah, so people were like what the hell and so like it was fogging up. You couldn't see shit, but this may be a thing. This may be a thing coming to a coach near you because off on the first Sunday of the NFL season when this happened several coaches were seen either one not wearing masks or to not wearing them properly because the mask police were out and the league is not going to stand for that. It's currently vice president of football operations. Troy Vincent issued a memo this week saying protocol requires all individuals with bench area access including coaches and members of the club medical staff to wear face coverings at all times failure to adhere this requirement will result in accountability measures being imposed against offending individuals and or clubs. However, Amy, there is no word on what those accountability measures will be so that to me that phrase is what kind of sticks out to me. What does that mean? do you do find them? Probably I mean you can look dead. Here's the thing. They're coaching on the sidelines of talking into Mike's they have to be able bird they have to be able understood. It's really hard for all of the to happen on your face plus all these guys are around each other all the time. They're all you know, I practiced together around the field. They're hitting each other all in each other's faces, you know, I mean and how many people have tested positive since the start of season one? Yeah. They did a very good 2700 players so very good job with with that right off because like you said, they've been implementing measures. They've been following the rules, you know, they've been testing a lot, you know, we got into this, you know leading into this actual season. Jeez, how many coronavirus updates that we talked about on this podcast about hey, this is what the League's doing. This is what they're making them do kind of thing. So something is clearly working. It's really great to see that that's positive news that you know that they're only seeing that wage. Chat, I think I that they should I really think they should go with a handy read mask to be quite honest can still see the coaches face. The microphone can kind of be up underneath it. So they may be able to understand what the coaches saying and and you're shielded. You know, when somebody comes up to your face, you know, I mean, think that that's fine but having to wear them like when it's just, you know covering your face in your nose again, like it's hard for me to understand people when they're wearing a mask and talking to me. Yes, I mean, so imagine imagine being on the field the quarterback coaches saying the guys in booth coordinators up in the booth are trying to understand what the guys on the field coordinators on the field are trying to say, I mean, it's just it's a it's crazy. So it's a shitshow you gotta be able to walk. You gotta be able to your job. I would take that looking like I've got the windshield of a Camry in front of my face the whole time vs Lee having something on my mouth cuz that's frustrating me. Yeah. Give me the telephone number. Windshield all day long over the you know, suffocating face masks which by the way speaking of Tesla. Did you see that their reports of some them being janky like getting like parts that were like really cheap shity on some of the Tesla's that were falling apart marvelous. I know so yet twenty-twenty doesn't happen. Just wanted to put that in there for you. All right coming up next in offsides, you know fall like we said is upon us. Although you wouldn't know here in Texas. It's still like an anus outside but here's something for your home that will make it fall feel less anus e okay Mom handles some new ones that are coming out and they're actually already out and we'll explain to you with those candles our next. All right, let's get into offsides and we've got some candles to tell you about so Amy, yeah, you know football's back. So if you want to get a little piece so that game day experience at home along with fall. This might work. Okay. I know you love candles. There's a company that's owned by Anheuser-Busch call Babe wine. They just created three football scented candles one smells like an artificial turf field. The assignment was met with outrage by some putting Kyle Riton house in the same league is Gandhi and someone familiar with it, who spoke to CBS In in Dallas, said the teachers, misspellings of Gandhi and Malcolm X were pretty outrageous to seeing in assignment from an English teacher that stipulates that it would be created on spelling and then riddled with spelling errors would be enough to give anyone pause as too like the integrity of the assignment. College Basketball: Schedule, Latest COVID-19 News for the 2020-21 Season

"The NC Double A. has voted to keep recruiting visits dead in bands until January first. So you cannot visit players till basically next year. No scrimmages or expeditions at all this season so you know how? Basically. You have those I guess scrimmage Games whether teams or those tournaments exposition expedition tournament basically. They won't be a part of the season. Regular season capacity has been reduced by four games so Now season will not be as long as the season was already like thirty two games. I believe it depends on the conference in the team, but it wasn't as long. And teams can start practicing as much as twelve hours per week starting September twenty first? So those are the things that come along with this restart. Obviously, the season was initially scheduled to begin November tenth, but obviously, it was pushed back and said, they wanted to make share. where it was where we were. Overall. So obviously you can tell the instability is definitely trying to. Get sports rebounded backup and going, and you know obviously. That's really been big that they're able to get the basketball season on a certain due date. Obviously. Now, the big question would be scheduling which I feel like some coaches and some schools are trying to do right now trying to figure out how we WANNA prayer schedule how do we want to make our schedule? If the season does move forward as scheduled. Now, there's on November twenty fifth. There are eight early season tournaments scheduled to take place in Orlando Florida and it will provide teams like with a bubble like atmosphere like the NBA Wmba Nhl has successful used to play. Amid pandemic. Around thirty games per year. Is What they're GONNA pay for regular season but obviously depends on each state, each college guidelines everything like that. So I think that's that's big. Obviously? You know if you remember Mike conceptually said as he stressed the importance of the big dance on appearance of ESPN NYQUIL when he said. We we're the thing that the incident blaze much concerned about because men's college basketball. In the term, it pays for for something like it produces ninety eight percent or more of the money for the NC Double A.. We need to have the tournament. We can't have it where it's two years in a row and you don't have the NCW. Obviously sketchy can chefs he and his fellow AC coaches proposed an exclusive edition of March madness allowing all eligible one programs to participate in the event. But obviously, the NCAA senior vice president of basketball said that idea was not under consideration. But basically, as you know now we now have. A. Start Date. You know when the scenes coming back. And it's very excited for people who Miss College basketball. Because Obviously College basketball I'm sure we'll be loved this year. Just as much just because we're having games. I'm assuming with the arenas they might not have fans I'm assuming. So I'll know if we're going to have any fans this year those games but briefly, but I'm but I think they were GonNa try to have fans at March madness because of just again how much. Money That it brings in. So. Obviously, that's going to be the big deal they're.

Make Your Zoom Meetings Soar Remote Work John Paul Mendocha - burst 14

"Doing Zoom and working remotely because that's the world that we're currently living in today, and it's probably going to be the world that we're going to be living in for not just. A short period of time but because we're starting to understand that you know what we can get a lot of work done remotely in very a lot of industries we need to grasp, hold its concept being able to do as zoo meeting and do it right all right, and so we're we're GonNa talk about some of these little pieces here as we finish up here in this hour so. Let's talk about a couple of really we you talked about the green screen, but I think one of the things that two things that we need to talk about is audio and video. And bring up to really fabulous points and I am right on it and Let's. Let's talk about the video portion I, what should we know about video because we can make some mistakes there Why I think the the first mistake that we make is that is that when we get into the whole realm of video. We immediately go. Hey High def right I want high. DEF. and. All that sounds good because of course, we're watching I definitely and television and by the way watching something happened. Is Infinitely more. Is Easier and simpler than you actually making it happen. So you want to look at your resolution and see if you can actually tone down your resolution because. They're probably not gonNA WANNA see four K or whatever. And by the way very few people have the bandwidth to do four K. Right now. So video is important and and you WanNa make sure that you understand how your video works, how how it's going to be put together and you can. You could start out inexpensively and you can go very expensively You can actually get a really decent zoom call out of a iphone or android with with a face with a front facing camera. But what you WanNa do you WanNa get a stand and have this stand hold it instead of you because let's face it. If if you're holding your camera, you know if you're holding like this way you know and you've got this little jitter will cause your hand will get tired and you're doing this stuff You're not going to be not going to be very effective. So just make sure that you understand that and and you know. Test see what is like also, you can make videos on your on your PC, your Mac you know on your laptop makes videos and see what the camera it looks like. Big Mistake that people make is they got nostril cam going that's great. You know which one I'm talking about right. Looks like it looks like Sherwood forest up there but you know you got these guys who they don't even they're clueless by the way if you want to know how to make your laptop, go up up up, I will give you the cheap way to do it. You could go get some paper that would go into your printer and just keep stacking up keep stacking up. Reams of paper until have the right line of sight. So people aren't looking up there and going. I wonder. Don't want them to wonder, hey, how's how's that? For a really inexpensive way to do that and you're right you know you can take books or whatever to raise your laptop if you don't have a separate camera, I think probably you and I, I have a camera on a tripod that's a USB camera attached here so I'm looking right at it, but you don't have to have. That you don't have to spend that money to do that type of thing. So you most as you point out in the book, most of your laptops have a camera in there. Let's get rid of knows. Kim Let's. Let's get some books and let's get that. Let's get that raised there. So we can see you right. Let's talk about audio. Let's talk about audio because I think we we think that because Ron video that audio is not important, but it really is critical. Isn't it? Audio's very important. Now, I I happen to prefer just because of my personal style and what I do is I wear I, wear a gaming headset so you can go buy a gaming headset for seventy. Bucks. Plug into a USB and it does a good job. It it. You know it sounds good by the way it kills lots of surrounding noise and that makes me the MIC stand. You know. So matter how much moving my head and it's funny because I, what I'm. Looking at buying headsets I was talking to. Somebody. Who is really a good audio engineering and we're talking about my problem, which is I had a really nice microphones like Jay has in fact, I have several but the problem is I would come off center. So my volume would keep getting funky and changed and he said, well, tell me how much you move your head and I said, well, it's got like halfway between Ray Charles and Stevie. Wonder. and. Said Okay here's the solution. The solution is you have to be the Mike Stand. So I bought actually have multiple headsets but for for seventy bucks at a best buy, you can buy cheaper but you know you now have this and it's great isolation people are I watch a lot of people who take the little headset that comes with their phone and they have that they're holding the microphone up to them and let's face it a microphone. That's the size of a pinhole. That's that's what your voice is being replicated through. Right so you spend a few bucks you'll get a, it'll be a lot better. Some people don't like to wear these because it makes them look I. Don't know whatever. But you know you gotta think in terms of a good microphone and you can get pretty decent microphones for less than one hundred bucks.

"Mike L. P., welcome to inside the studio and thanks for having US man although none of us are actually inside anything resembling studio. I'm in my living room elfi year. Where are you I'm just I'm just on a deck. I'm just on a deck. It's not a death, okay? Dj on this particular deck, but No, no literal would deck. and Mike. I'm in my God dining room. Nah I watched inside with African masks on the wallet chip. Nice obviously run the jewels four episode for a Yankee in the brave as she put it on. The first track has been received as one of the best albums of the year so far in most definitely an album that helps people whether they're listening like me on their headphones around the street. Cope with things right now, and how's that field? It's been amazing I i. You know it's connected with people on a level that we you know are blown away by you know. I think people love the music I think people I think the music is is is giving people, energy and I think that people are connecting with the spirit of the Dang, so I'm I'm honored man I'm I think that we just make. We just made music and we try. Please each other you know. Make sure that we feel like we wrapped. You know who we are and You don't know how people are gonNA. React to it, but we felt like this was a special record, so to to to how people react like that is is, is amazing heels damn good? Awesome hip hop. Shit like I'm loved it. Crimes and it resonates. On Levin at people are wrapping words. A missing all I look forward to get out on the road next year, but just the perfect phrases. It just feels a Of course a lot of people receiving it as a very much an album at the moment and I have to say that tracks like pulling the pin. Do feel that they could have been written by ten minutes ago, but I've read that the album was originally scheduled for release in April and it is after all a run the jewels out, and you go back to thieves from run the jewels three, and and you could hear music that fits this moment. You go back to early back. You know you go back to close your eyes. You can go back to you know I. think that we. The truth is is that. People are tune into that frequency right now, and and and but the truth, but like you said I mean this album was going to drop in April and We, made it in two thousand and nineteen. So you know this is where this is where we were at in our heads in terms of our art, and what we were looking on the things that we were tackling and. So you know. You kind of wish that someday. Those types of some of the ideas that feel really relevant right now will never feel relevant again. You know that's that's the hope you know me. And Mike can do to our version of the kid and play kick, step or whatever it is, we gotta come up with to like you know. Make happy music basically Those those things are connecting with people and more than anything. We wanted to give people something that just had life to an energy to it and a little bit of That we didn't want something that was. That felt like it was despair. We want something I've felt like. It was resilient something. I've felt like you know it could translate like. Puff your chest out a little bit like. Yeah, you know the you know. We see what you know. Some of the things that are going on and yet I. Don't think you walk away from his record. Feeling defeated. I think that you walk away from his record. Feeling Energy I. I hope you know no I mean I would say a lot of it is fight music right? Yeah, yeah, for sure thinking, man's fight music or thinking people's fight music as it were for sure but one thing that really resonates. I mean Mike. You've talked about this. You've talked about hearing from people who are out protesting that they've taken up that track walking in the snow as they march. Yeah, and that's such a strong record musically and wearily, but. It is a fight song on some level right it is enter. People have to understand fight into internal and external fighting is Donald Spiritual and physical fight. You know it is warfare philosophy, an ideology, good versus evil? It is absolutely fight song, and it gets. You motivated it is is really moves and dare I say his crump Kazaks. What boom in that Memphis accent and energy gays to what the feeling was? That out in you know so, but the world does get so cold. You're walking in the snow and people out. There have called me. The homeys call me from Tampa Saint Pete the home cars New York. COMMUN- from La. At different times with that record was playing as people protesting, so I'm very proud to have made up. The net fits the mood of the moment that motivates people and put the movement forward. Pay Moment for like you said it is. You nailed it when he said it's. It's it's. It's thinking man's five music because really. The fight that we are the way that we're fighting on that song. It's been particular as we're fighting intellectually against some of the concepts and some of the ideas that people are accepting. You know I think that there's an there's there's some obvious things that resonate really quickly with people like for instance, the clear thing about my who was referencing. Eric Garner's death and obviously that resonated really quickly, and very clearly with the moment of just very very publicly. Had you know everybody experiencing those words being uttered again in the death of another black man in America, but what me and Mike are doing through the subtext of that whole song is trying to challenge and really debate some of the some of the mind frame, and some of the intellectual positions that people. People are taking. That are allowing this stuff to happen. That are allowing our ideals to be compromised and that's what I think. Is there in the song underneath it all one when it finally you know once that shock of of there being something that sounds you know really clearly at the moment I think that there's something deeper there as well you know Mike. Saying you know never forget that you know. Your own you know by. Jesus was. Me Challenging the idea of being you know if you're a Christian and yet you somehow find yourself politically on the side of people who are caging children. then. Perhaps you're not as Christian as you purport to be to yourself and to others you know. You know so. It is a fight, but I think it's a fight for the hearts and minds of all of us. You know it's not a record that says go out and fight physically, although that's a result that can happen in in culture on that you know sometimes has to happen, but really that record is is a record of us saying like Hey. Let's take this to task. Let's fight against these ideas. If you really want to back up your, you know if you really want to back up your position, you know here's here's our arguments could. Could you know you know there's some production choices on this track? We're talking about walking in the snow. The really hit me. The more I listened to it and one in particular. You take that that channing noise that SORTA posse effect, Yoyo, noise out from the back, and it becomes a whole different track right because you. He was that sense of community, but you also lose a little bit of that fighting spirit that we're talking about right if you were to. If you were to take it out. If you were to take it out, so tell me a little. Little bit about how this track comes together like. Let's just talk about the recording the concept. How does this all Mesh which comes first? Has It happened this track more than maybe any on the album evolved like really far from what it originally was elements of what it originally was made it into the trap, but originally it was just one beat. It was a little bit more just straightforward all the way through. It was kind of just this soulful funky beat. We both lay down our our our main.

"Ignore all of it all altogether and. Yeah super tempting to go into one or the other, and the way that I framed as a semi reformed conspiracy junkie. Is that I, I try to hold two different things, intention one is fat, powerful people as well as those who aspire to power. We'll do what it takes to gain or maintain power including collusion including working together in creative ways to do that i. e conspiring like that's not, that's not out of the question that people have the motivation and the means to do that. On the other hand. It's really hard when people are doing that to shut up about it. So, you see this I think with the trump. White House has leakier than any anything whatever shenanigans her up. There's always some staffer with an anonymous twitter account. They can't wait to blab about what's going on behind the scenes like so when people talk about like a Cova conspiracy that involves everything hospital on the planet. You know trumping up these deaths and working on these things it's like the mammoth coordination that many conspiracy theories rely on for their explanatory power I. Just think isn't possible from a psychological standpoint that even when I am studying secret societies and things they're doing to gain and maintain power. They split just like Protestant Churches Man. They've got like all these different lodges factions that Hate Each Other and that also is interesting, and then also is intrigued, but it's not you know the aluminum body like the. It was like one particular branch of Bavarian freemasonry back in the day, and it had its sphere of influence, but then sewed other lodges, and so when people ascribe this omnipotent, almost like fundamentalist vision of Sky Daddy God to conspires like sorry. No Bill Gates does not have that much power. Bill Gates has some power. You know I think Jeffrey. Epstein was murdered okay? Cover up a crazy pedophile cult that we'll probably learn more about but I also don't think it's the same thing as pizza gate which the you know Cunanan conspiracy. are going into. Sorry this is way too specific for some listeners like what in the world see talking about right now, but just this past week we didn't even notice it because of everything else going on, but the Pentagon has officially acknowledged footage of homes I. Don't know if you saw the footage from a couple of years ago, but they've now said this was actually from from us right right right and so several years there. Yes, the footage was already they're. They're they're only acknowledging unidentified flying objects. They're not saying aliens exist or anything like that, but when I was growing up in the ninety s like the government denied existence of even footage, like pretty phenomenal that this is happening, and also that it's happening through in many ways to the agency of Tom Delong. From blink eighty two now has a government contracted UFO research facility and I'm like Oh my goodness. The writers of America are drunk right now. He has a government contract. Yes, yeah, he is now officially working with the United States government to substantiate into further research on identified aerial phenomena. I had no idea about that. That's that is interesting. Okay, it's one word for it. Yeah, I'm just like wow. Back when House of cards I came out and it was considered really convoluted and dramatic, but now it's like. I know partly partially. It was canceled because.

"For the survival of the tribes as were men may have differentiated roles, but they were not seen as superior inferior to each other. And and it's hard to make the transition. When we started becoming complex farmers complex agriculture, a lot of things happen. We started using heavy tools a lot of social stratification a lot of gender. Separation, a lot of oppression seems to be berthed in that. But even at that we still lived in towns and villages that were relatively small. You know I think that scientists say brain scientists that we have the capacity for about two hundred meaningful relationships and beyond bat. We just don't really do good with the math and I. Think we see that right now. In the way that some people are just overwhelmed by a relative icing the covert. Nineteen deaths like as of this recording in the US or something like sixty one thousand downs, and there are some people who are just like. Oh, well, you know. That's like the typical flu stats for the deaths in the year, which is actually not true but. Sort of shows me. How if you tell a story about one person dying? It can really motivate someone to change their life, but once we start aggregating. Equity can be really challenging and I think that someone who you know, the whole one of the points of reviled this on profit is helping us is people to reverse catastrophic traffic climate change through. Practical lifestyle changes as individuals and as communities where we can reconnect with with Spirit self, other and world in ways that are nourishing their life giving away, so they're fun and enjoyable, and the challenges that like climate change is such a big abstract threat that mode that most humans. We can't wrap our minds around it daily motivation away in the same way that hunter gatherers for able to. Wrap, their minds around not wanting to get eaten by Predator, and that was part of the glue that held them together. That was part of the drama of their lives..

"Came through channeled messages with angels. If we'RE GONNA. Take these experiences at at face value. You know all the way to in the Twentieth Century Jack Parsons who was a pioneering rocket scientist who pioneered? Technology, that very soon after that became NASA he was A. Lee might and Alastair Croly Divo- who is doing a sex magic when he wasn't figuring out the best ways to use gunpowder to help with rocket fuel so. Lose makes the argument that the scientific method actually directly. Comes from a cult methodology, magical methodology as opposed to religious methodology A. I mean he's carefully. It doesn't draw too hard and fast line, but tends to be that religion is isn't inherited thing something that's passed down more or less accepted, you know these are sacred stories are sacred beliefs and understandings, whereas the cult and Magic and arguably mysticism, contemporary of life is more of an experimental approach. It's like let's see if this works. So you know in the Western? Esoteric tradition of her medicine. Alchemy is what directly leads. One could argue to the scientific method without comey know you're attempting to turn, lead into gold whether literally or the lead of your heart and your character into gold of something that is more enduring and the ALC- chemical experiments, you can sort of trace the line to where people began to more and more do experiments that gave birth to the enlightenment, and they really did feel like they were discovering magic, when within the birth of science itself There's a lot of talk about earliest. I heard a lot of it growing up. About Science, coming out of a Western worldview because there was a belief that. If. There was a creator then there was ordered to be found. In the natural world. But I still see that point of to actually. Discovered that order if it's, they're like you have to be experimenting, you have to actually you can't just which which is that? which is that divide there between you know the church saying okay, the sun is the there's the center of the universe and someone else being like. He studying right now over in Scotland is his pants. Ike is like no there actually some respected scientists who use the scientific method and following it goes into it that there does seem to be the possibility of of non political communication between different different entities, different beings, even across species. Feels more aligned to their experiences to their dreams, hopes desires and. Just something that feels numerous about. Their reality But I. I'm always frustrated by. I think natural medicine is a good place to look at some of this where? You know I'll go to a natural path like Oh, this is cool like they're doing this or that and I can see the reasons behind it, and I can look. There's kind of peer reviewed things that showed why whites effective. And then there'll be something that I. "Sometimes it could be like two or three hour. Cut. taster experience, or it could be an entire weekend. We dive in progressively deeper and deeper into you know, probably are deep pain things that were pressing as well as beautiful things that we might be be holding back on and I worked with a small team of folks to put these on occasionally for congregations for even business events, although with businesses and workplaces. Workplaces. It's usually a little bit of a different emphasis. They're not wanting to bare their souls to their coworkers necessarily, but they are wanting to cultivate a better sense of camaraderie and community in their workplace. So that that that's one one thing that I do that a lot of fun and I would love to do more on the other side of this lockdown. And then you're also. Been I. Don't know if you finish this. You're doing getting. A degree from. Yale School and School for St. Sure, yes. You're you're you're right about it? Being connected with Yale? Divinity. School and the school forestry. To call it like a degree with the little overstatement. Basically, there's there's an emphasis. They have available online that I am nearly finished with, and it's through it. How to pronounce it, but it's online. Learning Platform called Corsino I think or Sarah something like that, and so it's on demand video learning, and then there is a component of essays and projects and stuff, and this one in particular is focused around the. The work of Thomas Berry. Who say sort of early? Eko Theologian SORTA heir-apparent, apparent too hard to start in and. Various work has really contributed to what some people call the new universe story. It's a way of having a one hundred percent, scientifically rigorous understanding of our origins as a as a universe, and also a biological life on earth as species while also holding that and understanding it to be inherently sacred. So that, for instance, yes, a phrase it's of trendy and a lot of spiritual circles. These days is non duality kind of looking at how everything is you know everything's one everything is interconnected, etc.. Well Thomas Berry, and some of the folks who have come after him like a Bryant Swim, they would. They would argue that even if you were basically committed materialist in terms your cosmetology, but you accept the current cosmology of how we came to be being a big bang. Well, a big bang begins as singularity. Is this one thing that ends up exploding infinitely into the variety of everything else? We see today in in manifestation. And so it begs the question. Do we ever cease to be that one thing, or are we simply that one thing diversified? And you know if we can really tune into a felt sense of that that we all explode fourth from this one cosmic singularity, and again even with the standard model, we will all eventually collapse into a cosmic heat death of. re-assimilating oneness like man, that's an interesting sort of expansion and contraction, and it maps with the spiritual intuitions that a lot of us feel about our interconnectedness as essentially and beings as the cosmos itself. Who I dig that guy hadn't I. Don't I'm not familiar with Berry or Swim but Tired..

I wanted to hear a bit about well. What so what are you actually doing mostly on your day to day now? Like what's your main? To spend your time on, make your income from like. Somebody has I honestly have no idea what you actually. Spending time with sure sure sure. Either to my parents, okay? What do you do again? Yeah. I mean vocationally. My bread and butter is I. Have a a network called speakeasy and speakeasy is a network of. Bloggers and podcasts hosts such as yourself who enjoy connecting to quality off the beaten path, spirituality books, and writing so I worked with progressive and contemporary. Christian works I work with interfaith, spiritual authors and kind of integral theory. Ecology that whole gamut and it authors and publishers to do launches. So if I work with a author that way they'll, they'll make a certain number of copies available to my network and I send out a summary of the book to see if anyone is interested in reviewing and so I, helped them Garner. Logger views good reads Amazon, reviews podcast interviews. That sort of cool, so that's that's my bread and butter for for ages in terms of. Income and IT S A lot of fun I. I actually do some coaching also of authors helping them grow their online platforms in ways that have integrity where they don't feel like they're selling their souls, and you know how to how to reach out to people online and build a readership, so that's a lot what I do vocationally, but then what? What really lights me up and what I've been moving into more and more since a being a collaborating writer, the divine dance, some of my own facilitation, and a couple of passions in that regard are working on what what I call relational skills, so sort of qualities of. Practicing the presence of each other, you know so the same quality that mystic might. Cultivate in the way that they orient their awareness, so they may let their awareness open up to be more aware of the presence of God. I think we also have the ability to cultivate the. To awareness more to the presence of each other and really really honoring something about the sacred nece that can be present when we come together with one or more people, and you know maybe dropping some of our assumptions, choosing to open up some of our boundaries, or at least be aware of our boundaries, even if we don't open it up to be more aware of what I'm letting in, and maybe what I'm holding back a little bit for for myself..

"You cannot find a functioning first of all sounds lively before that well the segment. Oh Shit read. The Headline Mike. Francesa appears to rip fought. Well now like think of the way we do our show right just the way we do our show for a second in the way. I did my old show even more so here. If Mike was Talking Steve was talking. I was talking and one of us appeared to Fart and you could hear it on the podcast that day clears can be in some listener. Her think of how big that would be if we can talk. Show the next day. That's all we would talk about really denied processes Gi. So fucking county about Dune Albuquerque. I know I know he's good. Good pitch and album albuquerque. Still Weird episodes strange. Only defensive them is sometimes. I think clearly farted. It's sounds but my only thing is what it comes through that. If I farted right now to come through that clearly on the met on these Mike. Snow on his bikes yes. These might have a better gate which is like the threshold of sound. Come over here. That Francis farted a million out fart. Though I mean he's makes her fart proof but I'm saying on the I do once in a while. Just like your guys. You're sitting do this nervous on air. You decide right like a quiet one or something oppose them run like I don't but no not not normal. I tried I tried to be gentlemen in here. We've heard him in hand for from the bathroom a few times. Oh sure if you're peeing forty five years old but was it wasn't a criticism. Yeah of course you Fart Mike..

"Champion comedy brought to you by Netflix and strong black leave each week. We tell us the COMEDIANS give us an escape from the bullshit job. The kids and those problems just won't go away people who made us rethink alive in the world around us. Most of all made us laugh. I S is all the. We're talking about black COMEDIANS. We can't go long without talking about death. Jam Comedy specials like breeding grounds for the best of the best in black comedy. Some people thought it was inappropriate inappropriate balder full of negative stereotypes about black people. Guess what they weren't black and those who no no and that was the place one of the few places that gave space for Black Comedians. John it was the place where we were the audience and entertainment. It gave US legends. Like Bernie when you MAC cedrick the entertainer Steve Harvey and of course the always always hilarious. Mike EPPs I love southern old school as Nigga with air of ice it. It's just my automated very excited to talk to him. Real ones the Mike. EPPs has been in a game since the nineties but his big break came when you start as they don't is cube in the Friday sequel next Friday. Now y'all remember date don't you you remember his role from the hangover. His black now he might have messed up the bags and sold a gang rupees. But Mike APPS does not play when it comes to his bag and when it comes to comedy he stays as busy on top of his most full movie roles. He's appeared and wrapping hip hop music video. Like bitch don't kill my vibe and a oh I'm talking about right. This man man has to Netflix on his belt man. Don't you worry about what he'd been doing. So take a listen to talk. We had about building the community within the Business Family Ramle and laughing for the culture. This is Mike EPPs..

"Mike there it is and this is mike dell's world number three zero five four june twenty second twenty eighteen and of course i'm like dell and play with a new toy here so figured i would give it a test got a new digital recorder but this time it's a digital recorder that is part of the studio so it's a rack mount device that is built right into the the system here now which is great because i don't have to use the computer at all to record a podcast through the entire you know mixer compressor limiter gate good microphones all that good stuff just a papa sd curd or a thumb drive or both at the same time it's kind of cool makes two copies but to into this thing hit record in the la la it's recording it makes a wave file and can take that way file and put it into the computer and edited or whatever or i can set it to make an mp three right to the thumb drive plug that into the computer upload it directly by wanted of course i always liked to do a little bit of post processing and and now too much editing generally but sometimes so all your all your gear heads out there that are wondering what this says it's a adenan excuse me let's see a denon diene three hundred are and it's solid state audio recorder source audio recorder i guess they call it could barely read that because a lot of lightning here let me turn on my little flashlight yes the solid state source audio recorder and you know it's just a one one high rack mount thing the same size basically as my compressor limiter gate then the be the same sizes in the queue if you had one i don't have one on the setup but kind of neat push a s d carter thumb drive in it and hit recording star recording and of course i will probably be doing it both to the computer and to this just you know what i'm doing an important podcast in lose this one while i just start over dude again ahead one that i lost last week two weeks ago one of our company podcasts and recorded with the ceo and and got done with it and something happened to the mac and it screwed up the recording so i ended up having to re record with him didn't make him too on happy but still you know we don't wanna wanna push it so yeah this this'll take care of that i can actually said make to recording simultaneously on that plus on the computer so i'm not losing one unless armageddon happens or something but then again you know who would care at that point see what's going on here in traverse city not too much it's a chamber of commerce weather week so far anyway the weather's been rather nice in the seventies high sixties low seventies sometimes mid seventies partly cloudy sometimes sunny it's it's spend just been really nice making good progress on the basement destruction right now destructing all the walls down there got most of the drywall removed and paneling and whatnot so were down to bare studs and runners or whatever you wanna call them on the on the bricks there to hold the paneling up so next step is to get the mold people in and spray for mold and get the sump pump gone properly and get all that installed and then put back up the paneling and then move all the stuff back where it belongs and move my studio back down there i'm going to order some new furniture get a stand up desk get one of those deaths that it a button and it rises up so you can stand and work or another button and goes down you can sit and i'm gonna get a better desk chair little more ergonomic since i spend too much time sitting in front of the computer it'd be nice to at least part of the time stand build change positions and whatnot so that that'll be nice that to all in there once once i get the walls covered and and all the mold gone and get everything cleaned up good and hopefully might flooding problem will be thing of the past then the final thing we're going to be doing this summer is getting the kitchen on the roof is already scheduled the i don't know when they're going to do that but i don't have to do a blessed thing other than right to check when they're done so you know it's.

"Israel you would tell that mike breen and my friend sesa had a relationship personal and professional whereas mice mike breen told the story he used to have my critique his play by play tapes that's real that's authentic that's the type of quality should get but then other people call them and there's no point to be naming names right now people i've had conversations with that detested might that didn't like my that that they like the concept of what he did to like his personality but they're they were in line waiting for their opportunity to have their voices heard on my second to last show to tell mike house specially was now in that regard that sang a lot about mike for people that disliked him for people that behind his back would tell the world of what kinda asshole he might have been to them in their professional lives to call up to show to tell mike how grady was is fascinating not a single caller called up and said when used the bus by bulls and i've fucking hated but you know what your tiring now that's good for all of us i appreciate you being who you worthwhile blah blah but noone do that it was all about you a fantastic you this year that i mean they were networks that hated them teams that despise them and yet for some reason and i don't think we'll ever seed again in our lifetime whether they hated him whether they despise them whether they want the call names behind his back when he came time to coordinate him they got lawn and they did it that's when i just don't understand if you truly didn't like the guy maybe he didn't respect them.
