Jim Jordan and Mike Johnson's Letter to Merrick Garland
"So this is from Jim Jordan and Mike Johnson's letter to Merrick Garland. It says, and one investigation following your directive, the FBI's field office, interviewed a mom for allegedly telling a local school board we are coming for you. The complaint, which came into the FBI through the national threat operations center snitch line that he set up, the Carlin set up, alleged that the mom was a threat because she belonged to a right-wing moms group known as moms for liberty. Moms for liberty. And because she is a gun owner. When the FBI agent interviewed the mob, she told the agent that she was upset about the school board mask mandates and that her statement was a warning that her organization would seek to replace the school board with new members through the electoral process. Bravo, it's exactly what you're supposed to do. I thought this was a democracy, gets everybody's favorite word on the left these days. There's another one. The FBI's field office opened an investigation subsequent to your directive into a dad opposed to mask mandates. The complaint came in through the national threat operations center snitch line that, again, Merrick Garland set up, and alleged that the dad fit the profile of an insurrectionist. Because, quote, he rails against the government, believes all conspiracy theories and has a lot of guns and threatens to use them. When an FBI agent interviewed the complainant, the complainant admitted they had no specific information or observations of any crimes or threats, but they contacted the FBI after learning. The Justice Department had a website to submit tips to the FBI in regards to any concerning behavior directed towards school boards. You see how this works, folks? You give them a snitch line and then every wacko left left wing crazy starts calling in conservatives.
The FBI Is Spying on Parents: A Timeline
"29th, the school board association sends a letter to the Biden White House. 5 days later on October 4th, Merrick Garland issues this memorandum with a press release that lays out and puts a snitch line together to go after parents, then 16 days later, the FBI sends out the email that establishes this threat tag designation that was put on these parents. In 22 days. So I have this letter printed out here from Jim Jordan and Mike Johnson, who's the ranking member on the subcommittee on the constitution civil rights civil liberties, and it's addressed to the honorable Merrick Garland. He says in sworn testimony before this committee, you denied that the Department of Justice or its components were using counter terrorism statutes and resources to target parents at school board meetings. We now have evidence that contrary to your testimony, the FBI is labeled at least dozens of investigations into parents with a threat tag created by the FBI's counter terrorism division to assess and track investigations related to school boards. These cases, now listen closely, include investigations into parents upset about mask mandates. And state elected officials who publicly voiced opposition to vaccine mandates. These investigations into concerned parents are the direct result of and would not have occurred but for your directive to federal law enforcement to target these categories of people. These laying down the gauntlet, both of these representatives are. Laying down the gauntlet saying, this would not have happened, had you not directed the FBI to do so. So what is this testimony that they are referencing? To play cut one ten, this is Merrick Garland assuring Congress, under sworn testimony under oath that the Department of Justice was not using its resources to target concerned parents. Cut one ten. I can't imagine any circumstance in which the Patriot Act would be used in the circumstances of parents complaining about their children, nor can I imagine the circumstance where they would be labeled as domestic terrorism. So then why mister Garland, honorable mister Garland? Are you using counter terrorism tools to label these concerned parents about mask mandates and vaccine mandates, which, by the way, they will be proven completely true. They basically already are. They will be absolutely vindicated. This show will be vindicated, concerned parents across the country will be vindicated. Because masks did not work, they did not stop the spread, nor will they ever. Nevertheless, this is the state of things as they now stand that if parents express concern, if they voice their opposition, they were surveilled by the FBI using counter terrorism tools. We now know

"Association. Check it out, by the way, on NHL PA dot com because there are some bizarre but fun questions in there. But there were some interesting omissions as well. At least for me, need to win one game, one skater that you want. All right, so 42.4% of the players who participated in the NHL PA poll ray said Connor McDavid. It does a surprise me. Your honor McDavid, 42, almost four to two and a half percent. Sidney Crosby up there, you know, double digit percentages, no Austin Matthews. You've got Victor hedman. You've got barkov. You've got Nate McKinnon. You do not have auston Matthews, even a little bit surprised at that. Yeah, sure. I mean, it's the best goal scorer in the game. If you still have a zero on the board, you don't win. I would have had him on my ballot for sure. When you were going through the names, I'm like, the one I thought you were going to say was omitted was Victor hedman. And I'm like, oh my God, you got to have Victor hedman. The guy's like, yeah, he's on there. But I would have thought Matthews would have been on there somewhere, really surprised at that. Okay? So then I'm going to gauge your surprise here. Most complete player. Sidney Crosby, 29.5% of NHL players over 500 NHL players voted for Sydney Crosby. Barkov at 20.5%. Barkov would have been my choice, okay? Patrice bergeron, 19 .5%, you're good there, right? Most complete player in it. Connor McDavid, 9.2%. Anze kopitar, 2.6%, no Austin Matthews. Yeah. Okay, so some of that reputational for sure. Yeah. You're going to do whatever you're going to do, but I can't put coal tar in front of Matthews. Come on. So go patar had a negative goal differential this year. I know they played on a team that was banged up and they asked them to do a lot because they were so decimated by injury, but I don't know, interesting, I guess, but they're the guys that are playing. It doesn't matter what the hell I think. But here's the thing. A lot of those players, of course, would have played against Matthews one time this year. And so maybe on the night they played, they weren't that impressed. Yeah. Would you be pissed off of your auston Matthews? Because again, we hear from players when it comes to the Pearson, right? Because it's voted on by the players of the most outstanding. And the players will often say so much because I'm voted on by my peers. So if you're paying any attention to an NHL pa poll, which these guys pay attention to everything, right? And you see your name isn't included on those two categories. Is it going to sting? No, if I'm auston Matthews, I'm like, yeah, what a bunch of knuckleheads. You know, like that's what I would think, I guess. The second part of that is most guys fill that out that form if I remember correctly in about 48 seconds. Yeah. You know, so, and when was it done too, right? Because that matters. Yeah, but I mean, if they say to the guys, hey, we got to fill out this NHL PA pool and your rep your NHL PA rep goes around and hand you the papers. Right before a skate one day, you might be filling it out and tying your skis at the same time. But what I guess what I'm saying is, I don't know if the research was as deep as probably it should have been..
Where Will Congress Find Bipartisan Consensus? Mike Johnson Tell Us
"What do you see just briefly? Where do you see the next bigger breakthroughs coming that we can get back to a government that could actually pass something larger than a spending bill? Yeah, it's a great question. I do think that because the left went so far. They went too far, right? That the pendulum does now begin to swing back a little bit. Now some of the crazy about progressives, they're never going to come back into the fold. They're working on a totally different anti American kind of platform and agenda. We're not ever going to get them back. But the American people the polling shows that people saw the results of all that leftist ideology that pre socialism kind of agenda, and they don't like it, right? And so we have an opportunity to be able to speak truth into that vacuum and to explain to everyone why our principles are what's best. They're American principles. That's what's guided us since the founding. That's when it's going to bring us back to our greatness again. And I think that gives us an opportunity to strengthen our ideas, gives us an opportunity to build a new kind of consensus. Now the question is, what will we use that consensus for? You know, I left a just a couple hours ago. We had a task force meeting within the House Republican conference that House Republicans task force on the big tech problem, right? This is a bipartisan concern. I mean, Republicans and Democrats are concerned about big tech and the oligopoly oligopoly that are running it and censoring private speech and viewpoint discrimination, all that kind of stuff. It begs for a solution. It's an unprecedented issue. And it must have buy in from both sides to be able to fix it correctly.
Rep. Mike Johnson Reflects on the Appointment of Amy Coney Barrett
"I think it's an interesting, maybe not beautiful's word, but I think it's very proper that the architect of the strategy going back to griswold then roe and others was Ruth Bader Ginsburg. And the seat that Ruth Bader Ginsburg hill, which was a pro abortion seat because of her views, was taken by Amy Coney Barrett, who we know fully understands is not if I were right. It's sort of a cosmic karma about that. Don't you like that? I think God smiling there. Well, I think he is. And I spent a lot of time with president Trump on Air Force One. During his term, he went to Louisiana 9 times as a sitting president. And I think I went on most all of the trips, but a lot of the conversations I had with the president was about the Supreme Court because as a former constitutional law litigator, I understand the greatest longest lesson legacy of any president is who that individual puts on the Supreme Court because they sit for life, right? All their federal judges appointments, but particularly the Supreme Court. And he had already had Gorsuch and Kavanaugh, but we anticipated because Ruth Bader Ginsburg was in frail health that there was a chance that there might be another opening before the end of his first term. And so each time we were with him, I would try to pivot back to that point and I would always bring up Amy Coney Barrett because I've known Amy since we grew up together in Louisiana. I've known her since high school. She's from the New Orleans area down south Louisiana. I'm from Shreveport northwe, but we would meet up at these nerd student leadership camps around the state and we came fast friends and so when she was on the short list, I was very excited because I've known her, you know, we turned 50 this year. I've known her for almost a half century. 40 years or more, and I've known that she has always been intellectually consistent. She's always been a person of deep moral character, you know, genuine faith in God and very subtle principles. She was a law clerk to justice Scalia, and as I told president Trump, she'll be the female Scalia, sir, you know? And so when she finally did get the nomination, we were
Rep. Mike Johnson on the Left's Congressional Security Narrative
"I never once feared my democratic colleagues. I never once feared one of my Republican colleagues. What gave Pelosi and because I think you said it right. It sets a tone for a workplace because really those magnetometers, what it's saying to the world is virtue signaling. Oh, well, we're going to make sure that we don't have guns or anything. But yet show me a time, except when Nancy Pelosi chased down our former colleague Tom Marino chased him down the aisle because he was mad. She was mad at what he said that we ever had anything like that. This is not the 1860s when you're Kang bacon everybody up there. Yeah, that's right. Look, we have some very vocal Second Amendment advocates of fierce defenders of our Second Amendment rights. I'm one of them, right? We have people who believe in self defense and all of that. And so Pelosi takes that advocacy. She marries it with their narrative about January 6th, which they will never ever let go is so long as they're able. And it is about optics, as you said, they're trying to project. This is part of the narrative. You know, the reason we had fences around the perimeter of the capitol for 6 months into the year last year, the reason that we have all these protocols and that part of our constitutional function here as dually elected representatives of the people is that the people are able to have easy access to the people's house to the members that represent them so they can have their grievances addressed, right? As our tradition allows. But none of that's happening right now, because constituents and the people are not able to access the people's house to the facility here. All of it is to project this narrative to continue the narrative to project that these optics that somehow are democracy in peril. You hear that over our democracies in peril. All of this is completely fabricated by Pelosi and team, and they'll continue to do that, I think until they lose the gavel and lose their control of the House. Now when we take it back, we avowed already. We are going back to the good old days of regular order real process. We're getting rid of the magnetometers. We're opening the people's house for the people again. It'll be like a jubilee or it'll be glorious,
AG Garland Won't Say if He Sought Ethics Guidance Regarding Ties to Son-in-Law's CRT-Promoting Company
"Apparently there's a company. That Merrick Garland's son in law is part of or runs or works for that advocate, critical race theory. What's the name of the company guys I'm drawing a blank? I want to say Polaroid. It's not Polaroid. It's it starts with a pee, I think. Say it out loud, Derrick, what? Think this pattern. Panorama, that's what it is. Yeah, it is. It's panorama. So panorama is a company that Merrick Garland's son in law works for and so Merrick Garland is sicking the FBI on parents who are ostensibly challenging the business model of Merrick Garland's son in law. So yesterday, as the AG was appearing before the House judiciary committee, House judiciary committee member Mike Johnson congressman from Louisiana had this unbelievable exchange with Merrick Garland who immediately turned into like a stepford wife, he was like a robot. He started going to this talking point about this memorandum set. He's talking about the memo well you got to hear this. Did you excuse me? Did you seek ethics counsel before you issued a letter that directly relates to the financial interest of your family? Yes or no? This memorandum does not relate to the financial interests of anyone. It's I take that as a no. I take that as a no. Memorandum is against violence and threats of violence. Will you mister attorney general? Will you commit to having the appropriate ethics design the review the case and make the results public? This memorandum is aimed at violence and threats of violence. I understand you're talking point, you're not answering my question, mister attorney general. With all due respect, will you submit to an ethics review of this matter? Yes or no? There's no company in America or hopefully no law abiding citizen in America who believes that threats of violence should not be prevented. There are no conflicts of interest that anyone could have. According to you, but with due respect, that's the purpose of the federal regulation. We need objective third parties to review our activities. You don't get to make that decision yourself. It doesn't matter. You're the top, you're the chief law enforcement of this country. This raises questions in the minds of millions of Americans in your impartiality is being called into question. Why would you not submit to a simple ethics review of that? I am exquisitely aware of the ethics requirements. But you're not following them. I have followed them and lived with them for the last 25 years. Did you seek an ethics review of this or not? I want to say again, there are no conflicts of interest involved when the Justice Department. Okay, okay. According to you, I got that. I'm not trying to be distracted, but you are not respecting our rules, our constitutional norms and the federal law that directly applies to your

"Talked about the ministry aspect but I've been in startups new businesses and obviously the the cost aspect when you had this dream in your mind and and you've got an idea like man. I really want to get it obviously with you. Many times me in the past the financial chill obstacles were just too much. I need a person to do this and I don't know how to do this. I don't advocate this. So for many people out there thinking about starting a a business this does give them the opportunity or maybe even growing their businesses in a different area. They may say you know. I'm I'm in the This this trainer through this mode or this canal of my business this marketing channel and I would like to to venture out and try it in this because I think I could be successful but cost is always the a hurdle in the objective and and just maybe a little bit more about how. That's allowed you to do what you do. Yeah well like I said I definitely wouldn't have been able to uh-huh tackle this dream without having the opportunity to get the employees that I've got at the price that we have have gotten in that and so you know we have five now and looking to grow that over two thousand some twenty to twenty five or thirty or more this year and there's a there's a big need out there for faith based high quality animation. Listen and again to be able to offer a high quality product at a very reasonable price to faith-based ministries into others will allow us to to grow that team over there and oftentimes your payroll is overwhelming Wyoming. To the point. Where you you know? You can't build your company the way you want to just because you can never get ahead of yourself and by utilizing people in Zimbabwe. I think you can. I think you can generate the revenue and bring people on while still generating sufficient. Oh Shit revenue and that's for me the key to growing this thing and that that's one of my partners objective all along has I've been to grow this business. Because we know that each person we add to a client or to one of our companies it significantly impacting possibly six or eight people. It's not only sponsoring that that person that works for us that team member but it it could be their children their spouse and most likely it's other a member of their family their their mother brother sister. So it's it's a true blessing knowing that each person we put as we say a button to see a we. Actually we are are having a major impact on the ministry in Africa's well yeah most definitely and I'm excited about you know making a difference in the lives of many many many more. Well you truly are the numbers out there. Say that less than four percent of the people in the world actually set goals the number of people that probably then have those dreams get squished because they they look at uc the financial santeuil burden. I'm going to have and they gotta keep working their job because obviously we have obligations. So we've got some things working for twenty twenty dream starter packages that were excited about where the people like yourself can can can take leverage their business and and make it successful while same time being diligent legit to see that they're impacting ministries. And giving back to God in a way that we we we all are looking for to be impactful in our lives more than just the the standard tie if you will. We're making an impact on on people's lives as well Mike. I would ask what what what kind of to kind of wrap this up a little bit. But Comey what's your next big goal or big dream. What are you see for? Not only your company and Your Business but also your ministry. Because we'll I'll say after twenty plus years in the ministry you're really you've always been an impact but this is also making a major impact. So what's your next. Step your next bill. So the ultimate goal is we want to produce a feature length animated film that's faith-based that reveals Christ nice to the world in a way that would be fairly unexpected the large passion. We have why we call it our company I see it productions. Is I believe that. Unfortunately Christianity has a negative connotation these days in a lot of people's minds. And that's because of a lot of You know bad experience. Or they're listening to social media or politics or or whatever and they don't really understand who Christ is and what he did for us and coming at them with a Christian message. That is kind of in your face more often. They'll turn you tune you out before you even get a chance to share with them and so we want to develop media. That has an Aha moment and I see it moment somewhere within the media that allows them to go wait a minute. That's who cries deuce. "But easy w getting to pay per view, was their first major major hurdle. And that was something that everybody wanted to happen. But I think even for fans, we didn't think it would actually happen until it did this week. I wanted to talk about it I was just because I was thinking about it so much. I went and rewatch it just for the sake of rewatching it, and I said, we don't talk about shows and fan perspective enough. You know, at the end of the day, I'm just a wrestling. Dan? So what can I do? What can I offer? You I can offer you my perspective, and I wanted to go back and talk about barely legal as a fan. And instead of just giving you my perspective on it. I reached out to my buddy, Mike Johnson, who is he's the guy behind PW insider, and who was doing lots of several right there with these CW as all of this was happening as barely legal came out the whole era. So I reached out to my Johnson. I said, Mike, why don't you do the podcast this week? So you can talk about your memories of barely legal right along with me. So that's what we're gonna do this week on that same wrestling. We're going to reflect on barely legal with my Johnson. Then not Sam wrestling interview. So as I was talking about earlier. It's not any specially anniversary. It's not any special moment. There's not any breaking news that relates to it. But I think just because of everybody talking about how exciting and fresh eighty w was for them. It just got. I mean, maybe it's just the way my brain works, but I kind of got taken back to nine hundred ninety six thousand nine hundred ninety seven when he CW was on the verge of going to pay per view for the first time, and then April of ninety seven finally coming in this, this feeling of calm Asian for everybody that was an easy W fan, which is what barely legal really was. And I thought today, I would spend some time just talking about barely legal from and e CW coming to pay per view from my perspective is a fan and being nostalgic about it, and then I realized that I have a friend. End who's got all the expertise that I could need coming from this perspective. And that is the man that you all know from PW insider, Mike Johnson, who's here with us. What's going on, man? Hey, it's nice to be here. I don't think we've ever we've been in the same place. But I don't think we've ever recorded anything before. Yeah. We awake. We've both been on the tash show at different points of the same episode. Right. But I don't think we've ever done anything. So we're kind of like crossing the streams here. We are. And we've taped interviews at the same spot with the same people, but separate interviews, correct. Right. So this is finally being brought together, and I'm glad so you know, as I told you right before we started recording one of the things that jumped out to me is the first thing I did was, I was like let me watch barely legal again, because I want to get, you know, you get those feelings again, if you're an EC W fan, like, especially from those years, you get those feelings, again,.

"The wrestling business. I hear your name there from time to time. So it's great for all of us that they're they're free shave them very much. But the fan premiums aspect is something that I don't think is taken into consideration enough. And I I just somebody said on the show why wasn't the AJ styles? Daniel Bryan match have more crowd intensity or heat. First of all, you know, that some of the intensity is going to leave in the sky because you're outdoors, but we heard some loud noises at times induced by Mickey Lynch and others. But I think far that Mike is people are tired of that time of night. I did I was watching that match and said God, this is real good match. But nobody seems to care I listened to. Just my volume in this. I'm right. Nobody's making noise here. Emotionally, the crowd was was done after the Becky Lynch story like they peaked for that. You know, like when Lana was in the aisle heard before there was any fine. Becky, they were we want Becky fans in that crowd that you could hear on the broadcast when Becky comes out, and she goes to her whole thing. And you think about the the trials and tribulations that she went through in getting losing Oscar getting into the match, then she is throwing people out, and it comes down to her and Charlotte. She's getting she gets injured she's fighting from behind she finally overcomes, Charlotte. Her one of her top rivals, and suddenly Becky Lynch has accomplished the quest. The hero's journey is completed. She's captured what she wants which is a chance to go and rematch Ronda Rousey if you're wrestling fan. You went on this great emotional roller coaster with Becky Lynch. But there was a whole under match that ran well over an hour by the time it was over. And so, of course, you're going to be you're going to be a little exhausted in a little motion Lee. Rained. I think you know, it was just the unfortunate placement of the show whenever again hindsight's twenty twenty. But I don't think anything emotionally could have topped what they did with Becky Lynch that night. All right in the middle brings this point. Then at wrestlemainia, you got listener in Rollins, you've got Mickey and Rhonda those could be tweaked some way or reform. I'm assuming obviously bookings done with pencil has offense. Heavy racers are easy to change. I'd like to think that they're they're locked in it that is the case then who closes the wrestlemainia. And if if you ate a close relative menu, then forty foot match be do you do Beck it off another hour earlier, and they let rebuild the crescendo of the final match tonight. That's kind of what I would do New Orleans. I felt like every hour sort of had its own specific main event. And obviously Brock enrollment went on last to me. You know, what's the best emotional story that they have the wrestling fan. Emotion is always what caught my eye, you know, whether it was midnight expressing its rock and roll express, Jim cornet antics or dusty and flare industies emotional promos going up against the full horsemen. Or Steve Austin trying to get to the championship. And and drive ins McMahon. Crazy, you know, emotions to me is always the key much more than what's going on in the ring to me. I won't give it story. I feel like the best story they have especially after the back and forth. They had on Monday night, raw is Rhonda and Becky, and I think if anything other than Rhonda and Becky main events or closes that show they've done a disservice to the entire narrative of the women's evolution that they've built the last couple of years. I feel like that is the alternate moment that the women's division at this point in time could have I think based on the fan reactions we see every week in those buildings on Ron smackdown and pay per views..

"To three sources. I saw on a torch story on that matters. Amerifactors how do you create your network has got to be exclusively you to some degree your sources that you have confidence in that. If you use them as a source that they're not going to make you look like Ned in the first reader, I ate comes through trial and error, and I've had fifteen years of networking and meeting people in different places in pro wrestling and building relationships with them, and it's never easy because when you think about what what myself or any other reporter on this business does they're writing about the magic tricks and trying to get the magicians tell them how the sleight of hand has done. So there's always a kind of pull back and forth between how much information you're going to get in. You know, some relationships will be someone someone will trust you enough that they call you. And I've certainly. We had a number of late night phone calls where their wrestlers who are upset and you've got to kind of talk them off the ledge and remind them, listen, you might not be happy. But you're making more money than the average person is gonna make in a year getting something that you care about. So maybe it's not as bad as you think. And sometimes it'll be a relationship where out here something and someone wouldn't specifically reach out to me. But if I say, hey, I'm hearing this is this right? They might say, yes. But or yes, it is and you at least know you're on the right track. And yet the kind of double and triple check things as often as you can there's no exact science to it. And the one thing I've learned in in fifteen years of doing this is sources come and go you have to protect yourself by kind of reaching out and talking to as many people as you can. And I also feel like, you know, for me, personally, the most important thing that I've done is not just tried to write about wrestling or learn just about wrestling. But I will read all the entertainment trade publications the Hollywood reporter and deadline Hollywood and variety and. I will read a lot of sports books, and I'll lead a lot of books about TV and film to get different insight into different ways. Like right about wrestling. I'll go to a lot of Broadway, and they'll be things that I'll think of watching Hamilton or or something like that. And we're I'll go, oh, you know, what I didn't think about this sort of production technique. I should see why WWE does it a certain way. So to me, it's it's you know, it's kind of like a recipe, you're always kind of figuring it out and refining it and trying to figure out the best way to make it without spoiling everything for yourself. You know, it's it's not an easy task. Sure. It isn't assure it isn't. A fun. It would be challenging, you know, you know, you're in a situation where you really you can't reveal your sources to protect them and their families etcetera etcetera, and you got a certain protocol to follow. But then I I would feel I would feel really odd to be wedding by the phone, and I'm sure you don't do that. But it's hard. It's hard to go about the business of reporting and gathering facts and all the while remain off the record or off the radar. You know what I'm saying? Maybe I'm looking at over simplistically. I'm not sure, but I are you able to be as aggressive on running down a story in the fro resting world knowing that your your sources have to be protected or because it's the loan like somebody. I'll talk to Tom Brady this week about the Super Bowl Sunday. And he said blink. Depends on the day in the week. I feel like when talents on the road. You have to be very judicious how you reach out to them and win because you don't know who they're with their traveling with with her in the room with what meeting there in and the last thing you want us to be sitting in a room with Vincent, man. And suddenly my Johnson pops up on your cell phone..

"Twenty four seven seven days a week off with oh, good news. The thing about you guys. Mike is that I noticed that an day sometimes becomes a little bit more opinionated on agendas that he is very passionate about. And I appreciate that. Quite frankly, I like to think I assume of Saint traits, but you remain you remain your objectivity much more often than not you're find that kind of daunting the charter say, okay, I wanna I wanna be the reporter. But I got an opinion is it hard to balance that sometimes I try really hard to make sure that I always right comma, in my opinion, when I'm putting that stuff in I was very lucky when when I learned about journalism and writing it was always about the facts, I and the opinion second, and that's kind of the way that my brain operates. So I, you know, even if it's someone I don't particularly care for a personal level. I always try to maintain some sort of objectivity there and to be fair to them. And then if I've got a if I've got to give an opinion, I've kind of save it for an audio or I will, you know, one of audio insider elite dot com, and you know, as you said, Dave is a very opinionated soul. I am too. But I feel like my role PW insider is to chase the facts and chase the stories and hopefully break the stories accurately in timely, and you know, to me that's more important than telling everybody what my Johnson thinks about said story washing. Washing program on HVO night or two ago about the two great riders in New York Jimmy breslin and Bill Gallo, it was and Jimmy breslin was a very outspoken character, you know, bigger than life tot, dude. But you know, I miss I miss reading those opinions because it's not the giving opinions of provocative way of rioting being a columnist. Whether writing about pro wrestling or politics, or whatever it may be but somewhere in that story your data that you provide to back up. Your theory has to be accurate data. It has to be you know, on point information. Those guys always backed up their theory, or they're they're Pinon strong opinion with fact as they saw it, and as they knew it, and they always gave their opinion more credence. I think if more guys would do that now. Now, like, you're saying give me some balance give me the facts. Now, give me your opinion to win as a as a craftsman we've together. So now, I get what you're saying. And I understand your point of view, even though I may not agree with I kind of feel like we live in like this knee jerk reaction universe now where all right Ambrose might be leaving WWE, you know, like the the idea of kind of threading through the story and looking at the good and bad. That's been pushed out of the way in a lot of places by the immediate. Oh my God. This is going to be amazing. All my God. The sky is falling. And that's think Twitter and social media and opinions and stories being reduced one hundred forty characters in some places like we've lost that ability and that patients to kind of dive in deep on certain things. And I think a lot of it is that race to get to the content as quickly as possible and to have people read that content as quickly as possible. You know, you mentioned Brislin and Gallo Eddie go to press one day, I might put up twenty or thirty different. Hosts on PW inside over the course of the day and record one-two-three Audio's. Sometimes you'll have that opportunity to go deeper sometimes the the contents just coming so quick because there's so many shows that you don't have a chance to take that deep breath and dive deeper into a story to me this about this community that you work in. I'll make it very clear that I you know, I read a read the torch. Now read been read Meltzer for thirty flesh years. I'm I'm very vociferous reader of your your guest there on progressing insider there other size. I read Russell zone. I check out. There's a lot of when I have time are on an airplane on waiting on an airplane, or whatever the case may be. So, but tell me this the general public the average Joe wrestling fan doesn't really understand what when we when they read sources say or dean Ambrose is reportedly. Leaving WWE..

"Do you think this is due to the WWE poor creativity and character development, or do you believe it is just due to the change of errors? I believe this. And I've heard the chairman of w said this many times if you give the audience what they want. They will come. And the fact that WWE. Far as general perceptions concern as not a plethora of over above the title constant management level talents. I truly believe that there's a belief within WWE that they have one man this really over his name's Brock lesser. I don't know what they feel about the women because officers more than more just run rallies over in the women's side, which is beautiful by just think that if you give the fans what they wanna see they will still support the product. I believe that. But the story is if if you don't give what they want to say, they're going to sit home because think about it. If you don't have you don't have towns red hot on a roll some upper trajectory, this momentum trending up turning up turning up, man. Sometimes they cut you loose cut you off in the in the in the moving up to stops. So the momentum stops and that ain't good. So it more talents on upswing up trending, maybe get more interest in that respect. The only time I heard any advertising was on. I think maybe one or two radio stations. And I I saw spots with Enron TV spots the Monday night, raw they're all good. But I I was probably the market the local market product of been promoted a little bit more aggressively that way, but against sumo deal man, if you give the fans what they wanna see though by ticket. He had a great rumble forty three minutes in it. And he had a a really strong match. I thought dean Ambrose family's going to be leaving w visa on Monday night, raw that was good. Scott cookers company at a first round submission victory. Over John Wayne Kaiser at Bill Tor to fourteen and it took Mr Hager, two minutes and nine seconds to take care of business. So I was very proud of this young lad, he left a lot of money on the ground behind or if you want to say. Leaving WWE start basically all over in unproven sport. That's very unforgiving. And where the fan.

"Two. Attention to detail Sasha Bank show me how tough she is. Not that. I didn't think she was great. But she's tough to there's a difference. Oscar, Becky Lynch, I would not have addle inch tap. I probably would not even use this mission. There's a million ways to get into five Nick found herself into whole that she just could not escape three seconds. It's called wrestling. So that would not have necessitated a tap out. Because now that Becky selected Rana rouser opponent wrestlemainia, she's kind of leaving Oscar at the Alder and Ostler's made her tap or submitter at the Royal rumble. So why wouldn't you want retribution? If you're Becky Lynch in your title, by the way, Lou added bonus. So with us neither here nor there. We can all bitch about the finishes. We do don't we the Royal rumble match the men's match. I I enjoyed. I thought Seth Rollins was was the anointed one thought he would be the guy. He was that didn't bother me. Because Odin surprise you take the surprise. No. I it was a surprise that the inside information. But Seth winning it. I think he'll he'll beat lesser wrestlemainia. I the only thing about the room. I enjoy the little wrinkle. That's all it's going to be a ni- Jack entering the men's Royal room. I have a problem with that philosophically for the moment for a spot. I hope that doesn't lead to proliferation of inter-gender gender matches. And I those of you that do intergener- matches or Lacombe. Look that's cool with me, man. I don't care. But for me if I'm booking if I'm creating if I'm writing I'm not putting men and women against each other. Because my expression is how I for seed how I feel about that as kind of these fresh and I saw in Randy Orton his face when he went face facial nyah, Jack the thing about that. What is so her big? She is that was a good. That was a good moment. Use our size advantage. And how dangerous she she. She got some shine. But I just don't want going forward in an inner gender rivalry. Because the women always got our wrestle smaller are small guys who are Comey or come to characters assume degree. I don't this. That's not. That's not how produced wrestling enjoyed listening JBL and Jerry Lawler good. Some of the veterans got to come back and got booked and they seem like they're having a good time. I text the king and toned enjoy his weekend. And he said he did the the show the free show, which by the way, if these favor of us are these row rumbles these favors go seven hours today, a four our paper of you are the longer you're gonna kill your pre show 'cause no damn way. Inhale I'm going to tune into it to our free game show pre show what we're gonna call it, and then stay hooked and mentally in paying attention. Remembering things on a four plus our pay for you. I can't do it. JR your old. Yeah. I am old. But also not stupid. And I also know that people can't process that much information and retain it. And of course, then great booking grit, creative touch with Becky Lynch replacing Lana which made a lot of people happy and for more reasons than one on not be cat any longer. I'm sorry too much coffee. But it was great creative and Becky winning thing last limiting Charlotte ironic poetic was that. So really good women's Royal run was a good show all together. It just I had to pick my spots. I had to step away some during that show. You know what? In those for thing. I did I grilled grilled chicken thighs and a rib eye because I eat them for today's Mixim. But a great wash someday. I enjoyed the show just to Dan wall. That's all we made. That point saw Jeff Jarrett in Milwaukee on Saturday at the admiral's gained hockey game. I mentioned earlier he was one of the lovely Gail Kim and the beautiful house. No..

"He had a great night really talented, dude. But I enjoy the show. I talked to Mike Johnson about the difference between the presentation of inex- takeover inex- teen and the main roster Ron smackdown. I think it's a we know that there's are ticked differences in how the show shot at central center. But there's a mindset also is an I look at this way. Like each of these teams each of these units run different offense. They have different head coaches. They have different philosophy. And I really enjoy the inex- takeover shows how they're written the logic that they use just really good. I thought Johnny Gargano had a marvelous night on Saturday. But that does not mean, I didn't wasn't. I I was impressed with every match on inex- t I didn't. There was not a stinker in a bunch and the show was not overbooked. But then everybody got plenty of time. Time to tell their story organically could ex hail could enjoy the process. It was because tell us find out that. Okay. I got yet twenty minutes, and they get ready to go out. And all of a sudden now they've got a fifteen minutes. They don't try to change anything. Tune in larger many of them were faster. So they try to cram more shit in a small bag instead of, you know, restructuring their match rethinking it. But we've got we've got the match memorize we've been working on for days. That's one of your problems. There's well. But man, I I love the show the feel of great. I love clean finishes. It doesn't hurt to lose. If you know how to work if you lost every week. Are you gotta gimmick. You know, like Zack Ryder and his tag team partner. Curt Hawkins, that's a different deal. The we had the same thing. Midsouth many many years ago with Mike boy. Set the same thing. W W F had one time with when they featured berry Horowitz on a big losing streak. And I remember call net matching voice over session. And I scream ING Horowitz wins Horowitz wins. No off of a baseball call. So. But I think that they're they have winners and losers, and they the they the matches are are competitive athletic, if it's real athleticism if it's in a real athletic event, then why doesn't hurt to lose. If you lose the right way. And you don't lose every time that your television. I don't get that. I like the fact that you know, you're gonna see a winner loser. So how's it going to go? It has more intrigued than match because I don't wanna plan on. Well, this probably be a disqualification this'll be account. That's garbage. That's true garbage. That means nothing. So good night for the cats the men and the women there to inex- takeover. I like Shane of bazars. Evolution reagan. Tomasa Chanda is is excellent big time. I hope the W W E creative gets Alastair black and what he what he can represent. What it can mean? He's really talented, dude. And he's got a very unique rugged look while the tattoos long hair central Tetra, I knocking it under saying that if you can't judge a book by its cover many times, and certainly out of black would fit in that category. He's very very talented trust me. And I venture to say that guys like him that don't. The creative treatment that they feel. They need will not have problems awning work. Elsewhere. The wrestling business in general is too hot for good talents to find work. That's says my take on it. So good show all the way around I fan. The war raiders called Mercer dues matches when they were new Japan, and I was working for access TV and allow the few Erakat's goodguys worth a lot on any roster. Good dudes. So good night on Saturday night. I finally got home on Sunday afternoon. Believe it or not. And boy was I ready to get home..

I guess we'll start at the beginning of the weekend in Phoenix at the inex- takeover. You know, I was planning on watching that event at home in Norman, but I left Milwaukee Saturday afternoon to fly to Detroit do then connect flight Oklahoma, Oklahoma City, specifically and everything all well and good leaving below zero weather Milwaukee did not hurt my feelings. Even though I had a great time with the Milwaukee admirals and their salute to pro resting afternoon with her hockey team had a big win, by the way free. Shutoff doughty good folks there. I don't appreciate Delta Airlines more on that later. But nonetheless, I watched the because I missed my connection to Detroit due to the ineptness of delta. And the fact that they're the icing croup seemingly when a wwl after star after being called to the project. I miss my down connect. I stayed in Detroit on Saturday night alone alone in a western in the airport. I didn't go so damn cast off. I didn't go downstairs and have a drink. I was going to Moscow meal, then I figured with my luck. I'd get there and say, we don't have any ginger beer, your SOL on your Moscow meal. So I doubt it and the good news was seriously. I watched I watch inex- takeover on my ipad in my room. It's one of the great things about the w network travels. Well, so if you get wifi can you got a smart device you're in hunt. So I watched the next take over my room the little screen enjoyed it. First of all recognize the Morrow Nilo. I thought just had a phenomenal night. Broadcasting is passion is enthusiasm is infectious. He's the kind of guy that when you hear him in the kitchen, and he raises his voice or more specifically refines as inflection that you wanna come out. In the kitchen seal tells going on I don't get that all the time on TV resi maros at the top of that list..
