"Mike Jennifer looks like we've got a little bit of a mess to the west of our suburbs this morning. That is where the worst of the weather is, our far western and northwestern suburbs still sweeting a culpeper, but here the temperature is up to 35°. We've got sleet and manassas 34 and sleet in Gaithersburg to over the northern suburbs, but still 33 here, so we're just above that critical freezing mark. So so far, the main roadway is just wet, a little bit of ice has been reported along I 66 in between the I 81 corridor and Marshall, but so far, not a big deal travel wise, the roads are rather snow covered in portions of Winchester long I 81 that winter weather advisory continues for the next couple of hours for the northern and western suburbs, and a flood watch started 11 o'clock this morning for the immediate metro area. That messy mix of freezing rain slate and just plain rain will change over to rain from east to west over the next several hours the big trouble area for the next couple of hours. Well, northwest and west of the metro area. And then for the Sanford, rain heavy at times, 45 to 50 are high. Randall taper off tonight to a few showers lows in the 40s, Arctic cold front comes through tomorrow morning, Reynolds changed over to a period of snow. It could be some light it came in like she's many on the grass, but it's going to turn windy and sharply colder. A morning high of the 40s and temperatures will tumble into the teens in the afternoon, and that could lead to some icy patches on area roadways so I watched that closely for you. And then for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day just windy and cold highs in the 20s and windshields could be below zero across portions of the region. Southbound side of three 95 looks like that accident scene that was after Washington boulevard officially cleared out, not seeing any delays there any longer you should be just fine.
