"The Mike Groom had show here until noon way. I saw a story months ago that Scottsdale Bible Church was jumping in to help with Cove in It was such a unique program. There were kids in Phoenix that didn't have access to technology. There was all the concern about the Internet. But there were a lot of kids that didn't have the access they needed to the tools that could let them learn whether it was laptops, tablets, the things they did not have technologically in order to keep going in school, so as a congregation, they jumped on board and they they wanted to raise within their congregation. A million dollars. During a pandemic. When people are losing jobs, and people are concerned they wanted to raise money in order to provide that service provide those pieces of equipment to kids in need that needed them. And I don't want to get the whole story away. But I watched the video the other day of teachers and students with new laptops and explaining what, how this was going to change the learning ability of these kids. We talk so much about education on this show. And really after being in a high school graduation last night. We see that we do see the future. I'm not being I don't think I'm being um, you know, corny by saying that joining us right now is past arresting Rossello from Scottsdale Bible Church. First of all, Pastor, congratulations to you and to the congregation. Tell us what actually happened with this million dollar goal. Yeah, Thanks, Mike. So much for having us And thanks for you really started in December by raising some awareness around the projects. We just appreciate your support and in what you've done thus far, but We start with our elder board and our director, local outreach Shannon Cox brought what the time based on where we were out with covert and the economy. What was a pretty big concept, which was the idea of raising a million dollars A Z a year in this was not like a big six month campaign, but just announcement and then a push for a year in gift. That would provide laptops for like you said. Those kids in need in the midst of what we call this digital divide, Where, out of nowhere. We had kids who were stuck at home in a remote learning environment without access to that technology. And so we brought that vision. The elders sat back and said, Yes, this is a great idea, which has a staff we were very excited about. But we were able to bring that vision of the congregation and what was so exciting. Tow watch was coded caught all of us. I mean the world literally by surprise, and it also made it really hard to step into some of what can we do Type activities. And I think people were really at that time end of last year. They were hungry to do something, but because of the restrictions and everything that was going on, it was hard to know what to do. And so it was amazing to watch the congregation rally behind this, and the goal is to raise a million dollars, and by the time it was said, and done, we were able to announce this last weekend. Uh, the congregation came forward with the hunt with 1.5 million, which was incredible, based on the short on ramp to the project, as well as just the economy and some of just the unease. But we were all feeling around just the economy and culture. So we had raised more than what we were. We were needing and what that provided us. The ability to do is not just meet every identified need in the city of Phoenix. But we were the work of the city of Phoenix as well. A school connect to expand the project also go out to school districts in Litchfield Tolson as well as Fountain Hills. The total provided laptops was the city of Phoenix brought about 4300 and 75. Because of the general the generosity of the congregation. We were able to come with 7896. So with a total of 12,271 laptops that went out to those kids in need, and it was amazing thing to watch happen. That's just an incredible number. And and the I've, I am always blown away by the giving nature of the people in this valley when there is a need that's exposed, even in a time when people are afraid to spend money. The amazing things that people are willing to do. This was incredible. Their pastor, the church that I attended in North Phoenix Palm Cross, I had the past Ronnie. I've had Rob Williams on a number of times and said that Cove it forced them to find new ways to reach people that they were actually benefits off the things they had to do in order to meet their congregations needs. And to do the things they normally did. Did you find it that way for your churches? Well, absolutely. I think one of the things that was so unique about Kobe. Itwas, um it disrupted all of us and in the midst of being disrupted, you know you talk about you know whether it's Palm Croft and some of the different ways that they reached out, you know, we talk about our digital vibe project. Ccv stepped up in the middle of this whole time and raised a million dollars for mental health needs. One of the things that happened. We talked about this a little bit this weekend was it's a tricky time just to kind of figure out, particularly with beliefs and all those things going on the church's really striving to move into the community and just love well. And that can get lost, sometimes in the differing of beliefs and things, and one of the things that I was so excited about was whether it was CC'd what? You talked about fallen cross us. It was the love of God being shown into the community in a way by people who are sitting back and say, we just wanna love while we want people to know that their love and one of the great things about this project was It was able to show to kids in need that people who don't even know them, love them care about their future and want to make sure that their needs are provided for.

"I'm Jeff Mon on Arizona's news station K T A R news. Mike Broom head show on K T A R news 92 3 FM and the K T A R news app. Thanks so much for being here. It's the Mike Groom had show. We appreciate you spending some time with us today, Dr. Cara Chris joined me at 8 30. By the way, if you missed it, and you want to hear the entire interview, I'm gonna play it. It's an entirety at 11 35 today before the show, So one hour from now we will play the entire interview back for you if you'd like to hear it. Dr Cara Chris joined us. And we talked with her about the county sites. Now the rumor was they were running out of out of out of doses of the vaccine at the county sites, the county pod sites. So there are a couple of sites that are run by the state, and that is at Phoenix Municipal Stadium and State Farm Stadium. And there are other pod sites around they're being run by the county health health director. And so obviously the state gets them in. So we asked Dr Cursed about this and what's going to happen? Are you working with the county? Are you going to get doses to those places for working directly with the sites to make sure that appointments don't need to be canceled on that they get the vaccine that they need to meet the appointments that they have? So our team is reaching out, but we are working directly with them. So the rumor was they could run out as early as tomorrow of doses of the vaccine. I know someone that is in line to get their second dose on Saturday. Are those people going to be able to get their dose is there will be that pain available, And so we know that we've got the vaccine here in the valley that we can redistribute. So no one should worry about showing up at a vaccine site today or tomorrow to it to get vaccinated. So she is saying that those doses will be given to them. We I asked the doctor about how many doses we're getting. Versus how many doses we've asked for. And what's the difference? I mean, can you know what what could we be? What could we actually be doing if we had the doses that we need? What we're asking for is an additional allocation of about 300,000 doses per week. That would give us a total allocation of about 452 470,000 week, because right now we're getting about 170,000 each week and that statewide. We know that the pods that we both the county and the state run prods could function just with the 300,000 additional doses that we asked for. So that's good news that we have the capacity to grow and get people vaccinated faster. On Wednesday, we crossed over the one million mark we could get. There must quicker and we could get people vaccinated quickly in Arizona. If we were able to do that, so she did say, you know, hang on. There are gonna be more appointments coming. We should be opening up more appointments at are state run pods So we would tell people you know, Look for our announcement will always give a heads up and they keep trying, because the demand is certainly outpacing our supply it this time. When it comes to the phase one. We're in phase one be right now, which you know is frontline workers, and we know that it's including educators. We just heard if you've heard during Katya our news they broke the news that the county sites were only vaccinating people. 75 years old and older in this phase, they now are dropping that to the 65 under beginning on the 15th. Which is very, very good news That's Monday. They will do that. So we've already been doing that at the state run sites. It's been 65 Plus that those state run sites. When will they wrap up one B? When will the next phase and who were those people be in the next phase? But most importantly, first and foremost, When does this one end? We want to start moving into that, probably at the end of February, beginning of March. Daddy is going to depend on the vaccine supplies. So depending on that supply, my next question was what about getting doses into pharmacies? Now she does talk about the fact that they're in. Some of those places now are currently limited doses that are available in pharmacies in Arizona that will continue to increase. I know that, as of today, the federal program will open up in there directly allocating federal stop scene. That will be fries, Albertsons, Safeway and Walgreens. And then we'll continue to expand that that pharmacy program as we get more about feet, But we are hoping that it will be readily available by April, so and then Dr Fauci made those statements as well. They're hoping that by April, it's available to the general public. And you know, I didn't get into a lot of percentages with her. How many people are getting it versus people that aren't but she did talk a little bit about her immunity when we were talking about getting a mask. The CDC has come out and said good news that once you're fully vaccinated, you are not contagious to other people. And that's great news and you don't have to quarantine which is very, very good news. But what about the need to wear a mask? Once you're fully vaccinated. If you're not contagious to other people, can you remove your mask? Even if you are vaccinated, please still wear a mask. We don't have enough community or the herd immunity in order to protect those vulnerable people. And we don't know if you get infected, even if you've been in Vaccinated. You may be symptomatic, but you may be able to pass it on to others. Now. The CDC data is contradicting that a bit, but the study's air still early, so they're asking everyone to wear a mask and a part of this I know is going to be the nightmare. People just same line vaccinated. And you just believe that they've been vaccinated. Are you willing to carry a card around that says I've been vaccinated, therefore, have to wear a mask. There's going to be a transition period. And I'm looking forward to the transition period where Maura people are vaccinated than not vaccinated when we're seeing numbers plummet and people are beginning to get more comfortable because then people are going to really want those masks off. The masks, and I got to tell you I'm not comfortable in them either, but they're more of a nuisance because of the statement they make or they don't the idea that you don't care about people If you don't wear a mask drives me bananas. I hate when people say that It's Zsa such a horrible thing to say, Um, When I was a little boy smoking was very common, and not too thought It was thought not to be such a threat You smoked in every building you went into of the old people that watch it tonight show the Johnny Carson show. Johnny Carson had a lit cigarette on his desk. Now. My mom loved us very, very much. We were little kids. My mom smoked. She smoked in the car, crack a window. I used to go to my grandfather's house. And there was a layer of smoke about 3 ft. Off the floor, just kind of hovering. They loved us very much. There wasn't the information there was now, but what we transition to was smoking is dangerous to smoking is the biggest killer on the planet..

Mike Broom head show on K T A R news, 92 3 FM and the K T A R news after Thanks so much for being here, it's the Mike Groom had show been talking about opening schools for months Now, the CDC data is saying that we should be back in schools months ago, we were using The benchmarks. The benchmarks were almost all in the green, and it was ready to open schools here across the valley. Some valley schools did that some district stay open and they've opened very successfully. They've had some issues where they've had cases of covert 19. But largely the spread of covert 19 is not happening on campus is we know that University of Arizona is now doing this? They're going to phase two. They will have more students on campus. We know that issue has been very successful in keeping students on campus and keep keeping class is open to a certain extent. And being able to move forward during covert 19 as well. Montessori schools and preschools have been open and never shut down and it had to adjust on the fly. The one place there has been pushed back. Our where the teachers organizations, teachers unions, so to speak in Arizona and across the country have said no, we're not going back in the classroom is a matter of fact. They have done sick outs, their admission, not mine. I've got the videos to prove what they're saying behind the scenes, calling them a sick out calling in sick in mass so that schools have no choice but to close, including online learning for those days, so in the interest of keeping things from being chaotic, what they've done is they've just gone to online learning instead of fighting the unions, and that's what's happened. CDC has been emphatic about this on D director of the CDC said schools could open safely even before all teachers are vaccinated. And that outraged the teachers unions and see she doubled down on that saying the safest place for kids is in school. We know that we've seen, um The data on suicide attempts on overdoses rising in both adults and in kids, and you've seen pediatric organizations and mental health organizations say the detrimental effects on the separation of Children from the classroom. Is far worse than having them anywhere near the schools that they should be back in the classroom, the president himself said, And I want you to hear the president. Well, I'll get to it in a moment. This is him, saying he wants schools open in the 1st 100 days. Will also do everything we can to give our educators and students safe. Safely reopen the majority of our K through eight schools. By the end of the 1st 100 days. So that's what he said then. Well, they have now over the last three days, and I believe it's my belief. It's been pressure from the N E, A and from the A, F T that it doesn't go along with their narrative of not until it's safe. So now here's the clarification to that promise. You just heard his wool that, he said, is to have the majority of school so more than 50%.

"For being here. It's the Mike Groom had show so The hypocrisy and the idiocy of what's happening in D. C right now is going way too far, and it's becoming dangerous now. Let me walk to me Walk something pretty quickly. The president's been accused and impeached because he incited a bunch of people to go down to the Capitol and cause a riot. So because of these angry people that were down there now there were a few 100,000 people. What wasn't it 3 400,000 people down in the capital and a very, very, very, very small percentage of those were the bad actors. Horrible thing they did shouldn't have done it. But in comparison to what was down there it was not what It could have been. So it was a small number of people got take got put under control. Shouldn't have happened there making arrest based on facial recognition. They should arrest people. People should go to jail because of all of this. The fall out from this has now been the other side of the aisle is continuing. The unrest. Impeach the president, and now they're going after members of Congress, saying that they were complicity. Now there has not been one shred of evidence. Presented in any of this other than accusations more than 30, House Democrats signed a letter suggesting some Republican colleagues may have aided capital rioters by providing them with tours of the U. S Capitol in January, 5th But have yet to flesh out their accusations. And so they are making accusations they cannot. They can't prove it's based on feelings. So there is a representative. Her name is Mikey Cheryl from New Jersey. This is what she actually said. I also intend to see that those members of Congress who abetted him this members of Congress who had groups coming through the capital that I saw and generate fifth Reconnaissance for the next day, those members of Congress that incited the silent crowd those members of Congress that attempted to help our president undermine our democracy. I'm going to see that they're held accountable and, if necessary, ensure that they don't serve in Congress. There is absolutely no proof that any of that happened As a matter of fact, people. Members of Congress give tours all the time when I went down to the state of the Union address with with at the time then with Congressman Matt Salmon Congressman Salmon gave me a tour of the White House after the state are not the White House the Capitol after the state of the union, we walked around. He showed me around places in the capital s. Oh, this happens all the time. There's no proof, not one ounce of proof that anyone anyone was giving people reconnaissance tours. Now, if they're going to go in, and they're going to say people that were in D C or taking tours of the Capitol so that they could get the layout of the place and that members of Congress knew it. Do you have any idea what that is done? You we have. Congressman. Ghosts are here in Arizona. You who was speaking when the president Or when the capital was breached. You've got Congressman Andy Biggs. Who is someone that gave a very eloquent speech about why all of this Was important to investigate. Now, Here's what's interesting. There's a guy named Andre Carson, who was from Indiana Democrat Hey told Fox News. He believed that the accusation that he is making and congresswoman Cheryl are making must be fully investigated. Isn't this interesting? Congressman Biggs said there have been enough anomalies in the elections in Arizona that it warrants an investigation. Well, that didn't warrant an investigation with the list of anomalies there, But this does The perpetuating of this and what kind of junk is this? Causing there's 24 hour police law enforcement guards on members of Congress. They're having to be guarded 24 hours a day. They're getting death threats against them. You wanted this? You cannot say that one side of the political aisle are the people that are conjuring up violence and unrest in this country. What happened at the Capitol was 100% wrong and I have not heard one person on my side of the aisle. Not that I've had on this show from the governor. Theo congresswoman less go to Congressman. Ghosts are and Biggs that condone the violence that happened inside the Capitol building, not one person, but to say that they were in on it. Get the left side of the American political aisle so riled up that now those members of Congress are having death threats against them. I will now ask the same question if Donald J. Trump is guilty of inciting those people, the violence if somebody attempts to harm Congressman Biggs or his family is Mikey, Cheryl And this other congressmen. Are they responsible for that? They have no proof. What they are doing is perpetuating the horrible feelings of the divide in the American political arena. It's what they hate Donald Trump for It's why they're impeaching Donald Trump. Why they've impeached him. And she is doing the exact same thing. They have presented zero evidence she's saying, I saw some of these members of Congress giving tours. Members of Congress give tours to their friends and constituents all the time. If they don't members of their staff do that's what they do. That's what they do. And it's called the People's House for a reason. When you go to D. C. You contact your member of Congress and you say I'm going to be in D. C and someone on that staff said Be here at two o'clock on Tuesday. We're gonna give you and some other people a tour of the capital. That's how it works. And to accuse these people of giving reconnaissance tours. You don't have to like him politically. You don't have to agree that with them on their stance that the election needed to be investigated. All of that could be a political disagreement. But when you start accusing them of being in on the break into the capital, not just inciting people but giving them our reconnaissance tours, so they knew their way around. There's no proof of it. They're perpetuating this and there have been threats on people's lives. What bothers me about this. Is because I know I know these people somewhat. When you hear Debbie Lesko story how she got to Congress when you hear some of the things that she fights for, she is a very good woman. Andy Biggs is a good guy. You know, he's got a great family. His wife is one of the nicest people I've ever met. These are just good people. You may not agree with their politics. And no one thinks that you should. But do you really think they deserve death threats against them? Do you think they should have to have 24 hour a day Police protection right now. Do you think that's the way American politics should act? We're seeing the side of this when we've got National Guardsmen inside the Capitol, and they're gonna have to worry about unrest of the at the inauguration. I get that and I think it's a horrible thing that were in that state. You're right. But let's shine the light on the other side. You want to say that Donald Trump inside what happened at the Capitol? What's Mikey Cheryl's role in what's happening to Andy Biggs right now? If it's good for the goose, let's just call it what it is. You're taking political gamesmanship to a level that's now got people's lives in danger. All right, if you're 65 they say on Tuesday. If you're 65 or older, you can get the vaccine. It's lowering the age of 75 to 65. Not quite everywhere. I'll explain in just one moment. No. The good people at Stapleton Roofing, another family owned business here in the state of Arizona. "Thanks so much for being here it is. The mike Groom had show appreciate you being with us. 10. Republicans in the House of Representatives joins Democrats joined Democrats and impeach President Trump for a second time. This time over the Capitol uprising riot Whatever you wanna call it, Um let me touch on a direction for a moment with this. I wonder if in hindsight The people that entered that Capitol building with whatever they had on their mind going in. I wonder what their regrets are today. You know, if not for their actions, this impeachment's not happening. Now there's the grounds for impeachment are, if not for Trump's actions those people made out of rioted. I will tell you that's debatable that there were a lot of people that were angry that were there. Um But I can tell you that if those people had not taken the bait if they had not gotten his angry is they have gotten if they had not been beating Capitol police officers with American and Trump flags. If they had not been breaking windows and doing damage that this this impeachment would have had no grounds, And I wonder if there's any regret from those people today. From that point of view, a lot of them are losing jobs. They're gonna lose their freedom in some cases. Go to jail and face fines. But I wonder if they look back now and say. I let my anger get the best of me, and this is what's going to be used as the legacy. Of President Trump. Let's go with the narrative, and people believe the narrative that the media has just been trying to tear this president. Apart from the beginning, Let's say all of that is 100% true that they were just looking for something. You gave it to them. That's why people that defend any the actions that the Capitol drive me crazy. It's indefensible when people say Well, what about this? You're 100% right on all of that..

"Comprised of 140 Valley see EOS Took out an ad warning that Republicans who quote stoked the flames of this travesty should be held accountable. The head of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce says the Arizona Republican Party has been extremely irresponsible. They're talking about Republican Congressman Paul Ghosts are and Andy Biggs and state legislators who claimed with zero evidence that stood up in a court of law that the presidential election was stolen something state Republican Party chairperson Kelli Ward has said over and over because she thinks the president loves me. Yeah, those business leaders plan on punishing the party by with him. Ling campaign cash but because they rely on Republicans for their business friendly policies. This is only gonna go so far. They're like voters who hated the way Trump talked, except when he talked lower taxes and conservative judges, which caused them to vote for him anyway. But they're in lays the real danger for the Republican Party voters because of enough thing Trump went too far after they voted for him. Republicans who continue to stand by Trump's lives could lose more than just campaign cash, they could lose campaigns. Kirk Adams of former Republican speaker of our State House and governor Do sees former chief of staff says he knows of several Republicans have switched their registration in the U. S. House of Representatives Today, a handful of Republican members voted to impeach Republican President Donald Trump. If enough Senate Republicans vote to convict Donald Trump, he would be ineligible to run again in 2024. Ronald Reagan, the greatest modern Republican president, said that the 11th commandment was Val shall not speak ill of fellow Republicans eggs. Exactly what Donald Trump did to his own vice president and any Republican that spoke the truth about Trump losing the election. No matter how badly some Republicans want to believe the president loves me. He doesn't love the party nor party principles more than he loves himself. He needs to be kicked to the curb, like a bad boyfriend and voting to convict him in the Senate would be like taking out a restraining order on him so he can't continue to damage the Republican Party's most important relationship. "Thanks so much for being here. It's the Mike Groom had show. We appreciate you being with us, and I want to say a big special congratulations to Mrs Hernandez from Castiel High School. She was last month's pay tribute to a teacher recipient. If you know a remarkable teacher that deserves a 25 $100 check, it's our pay tribute to a teacher. It's the Arizona teacher program. Pay tribute to a teacher. We do this, They're going to get a 25 $100 check. So all you have to do to nominate a great Arizona teacher is text the word teacher to 411 92 3. You can nominate someone for this award That's teacher to 411 92 3 and someone's going to get a check for $2500 in the pay tribute to a teacher. Is presented by your valley. Toyota dealers So big congratulations again to Mrs Hernandez. Nancy Pelosi is leading debate right now. The agreeing to the resolution vote is in. We are now awaiting the house floor debate. And then later on today will be a vote on this. So what they've done so far, Steve, I think if I'm not wrong Is they voted to agree to vote. I love how government works. So it's the on agreeing to the resolution. Which means Yes. We agree on this resolution that we should vote on this resolution. Can't they just look around the room at each other bill used because one of us? Yeah. What do you think? That's? Why should we vote? E think we should both all in favor. Aye. So It is to 19 203. So they got over. They finally have done it So now they proceed to the debate, and they will begin to debate the validity of whether or not Donald Trump should be impeached for a second time by the House of Representatives. It's expected that upto five Republicans will vote in favor of impeachment. It's not good for the president. I don't know what happens when he gets over to the Senate, but I'll be only honest with you. I've said this a number of times to people. This is not about Donald Trump. This is about us about the American people. One of the things about the presidency that the people that are good at it. Is that they see that the job The mission is bigger than the person and You know the the criticisms of Donald Trump? Is was about his arrogance about his. And there are a lot of people that loved the arrogance of you. And sometimes you gotta take the good with the bad. It is the attitude that Donald Trump has that allowed him to accomplish some of the things that other people haven't been able to accomplish. And for that, I think he deserves a lot of credit but a lot of the criticism or about his attitude and selfishness and that it's all about him all the time. In the end. Don't need to defend Donald Trump. I don't follow. I don't give people that kind of loyalty. What I mean is I'm not a follower. There's one person I'm a follower of and that's it. And In this regard. It's a set of ideals. That's why, when the process of the vote counting was going on in the challenges, I just let the present let it play out. That's what the system is for. But when we we've come to the conclusion we've come to Joe Biden is the president elect Joe Biden one week from today will be inaugurated as president of the United States. We have to find a way to move forward as a nation. That does not mean we have to move forward and have not remember what happened. Believe me, the people that have made the point about what's happened The last four years is fresh in my mind, I find it immensely hypocritical for anybody on the left to point fingers at people on the right about what happened at the Capitol building. I was incensed when they burned churches and I was incensed when they stormed the capital. I thought both were horrible things to do. You can't say the same thing about people in Washington. There was a group of people that made a lot of excuses. For what happened in D. C in the burning of churches and other buildings. They made a lot of excuses for that, and now they want the president impeached and they want people put in prison forever, and examples being made and AOC said she thought she was going to die and There's a lot of hypocrisy in politics at play here. In the end, the American people need to move forward. We spent four years of the Trump presidency looking backwards. Nancy Pelosi and the committees that she had you know the chairman of the committees that she had had these investigations up spent week after week month after month, year after year. Investigating investigating investigating in 2017, she said Donald Trump wasn't legitimate President. I am paraphrasing in that tweet. But she said the same thing that the people that are stopping say Stop the steel are saying Now they're being silenced, and Nancy Pelosi was not and is not So you can understand why people are frustrated. At least I do. But in the end, the American people get fatigued with the politics and there is no good. There's no good that comes from this impeachment. I mean, there's political capital to be made what will happen in two years? You understand the fear is in two years, the American people have the opportunity to completely change the entire House of representatives and one third of the United States Senate. There is a good chance in two years that the Democrats will not retain hold of the of the House of Representatives, and I'm not saying it's going to happen, But there's a good chance. So what you do is you start setting up the straw man now. My Republican opponent didn't even vote for impeachment. After Donald Trump incited riots at the cap you could in the political speeches and fundraisers right themselves. Mike Pence has to invoke the 25th amendment Well in four years of Mike Pence, the vice president decides he wants to make a run at the White House. Nancy Pelosi and everybody else on the left will say, Mike Pence had a chance to do the right thing and get rid of this president with the 25th amendment, and he refused. He was that means he agreed with the It all rights itself, But what we're not doing is working on a budget. What we're not doing is working on covert 19 and vaccinating Americans faster on some kind of a stimulus bill or something else That's going to carry the American people forward. And then what do we do with all of this debt that was created by covert and everything else we've been creating debt..

"3 FM and the K T A R news app. Thanks again for joining us on this Tuesday morning. Appreciate you being with us here on the Mike Groom had show Um, of course, we're gonna talk more about the governor in the state of the state address coming up, but ah lot still happening in Washington, D C. You just heard her in the newscast, the president of United States calling these impeachment attempts. Calling them horrible, calling them wrong, saying that it's causing more angst. And it truly is. This, I believe is pop. More politics with people want less of, um, and it just It's just not the right thing to do in my mind. There are a lot of people that just like this president Ahn die. What happened at the Capitol building sealed his fate, and unfortunately for this president that is going to be a big part of his legacy. And it's not going to be the legacy of the people that love him, But his popularity is the lowest it's been ever and the heat. The legacy will be what happened at the Capitol building, and it's unfortunate that's the case. I'm not one of the people that believe that the president tried to make that happen. I'm not one of the people that believe that he was happy that it happened. But we cannot neglect the fact that these were people that were there to support him. He went spoke to the crowd that morning. And when they got to the Capitol building, a big chunk of those people went into the capital and caused damage. It is. It was a sad thing to witness the gravity of what happened in the minds of the average American are all that matter to me. The politicians really don't because on both sides of this, you're going to see people trying to capitalize politically. I think the fact that Nancy Pelosi wants to impeach this president. Is a big political maneuver. The fact that you know there's questions about Mike Pence, possibly being a candidate for president in four years where there is a long time between then and now, and who knows what could happen, but one of the ways that you ensure that that person doesn't run if you do enough damage to them now, politically, that it makes it impossible for them to overcome when you have to answer questions about one specific thing. For too long. It's too hard to overcome. Unfortunately, that's how politics works. I happen to think the world of Mike Pence. I've met him on a couple of occasions. I found him to be a statesman. I thought he I think he's a good man. And I didn't like the fact that he was put in a position. Where the president said do the right thing. The vice president had to write that letter and say I'm powerless and he is anyone who knows anything about Civics. Mike Pence did exactly what he was required to do by law. And when Nancy Pelosi now wants him to use the 25th amendment, which they're voting in that regard today as well, and then what That is, is just trying to do political damage to Mike Pence. Mike Pence is not going to use the 25th amendment. It's an abuse of the 25th amendment. If they do it, so if it's not the 25th, let's use the 14th amendment. If it's not that, so we're going to Do whatever we can, as they have been trying for four years to destroy this presidency. Now they have a leg to stand on. Let's be honest, the people that believe that this president fostered or if nothing else did very little to stop his supporters from doing. What they did at the Capitol is the power. They need to get rid of this president. They've been doing this for four years. This is the part where I was very upset at the lack of accountability that was being had because when the president of the United States was making accusations of fraud in the election The media did their job and their job was to say to Rudy Giuliani and to the president himself and anyone else who was out there. Show us the evidence. Where? Where's your proof? You don't have any proof, And they said that over and over again for four years, they tried to impeach this president. They tried to get him thrown out of office. They tried to damage him by saying the Russians. He was colluding with the Russians and the dossier and the Mueller investigation and you had guys like Adam Schiff, who was the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee. And Jerry Nadler, who was the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. Those two men spent the better part of two years investigating the president, Adam Schiff would come out and say over and over and over again. We have evidence that this president is guilty of a crime. He never produced one shred of that evidence, Nor did the media really hold them accountable to do it. There was not the same pressure on Adam Schiff in interviews to say, Listen, if you have proof, let's see it show the American people, if not get back to doing the business of the country with the intelligence committee, instead of wasting its time with investigations where you can't prove anything. That would be that went on for a year. Now. Today, there's going to be a vote in the house on impeachment, and there's a pretty good chance that they're going to get the votes. They need to move it forward. But it's going to die in the Senate. I believe It's going to die in the Senate. It is for show just like the last time they tried to impeach the president. It's a show and it's an unfortunate show with covert 19 the need to get something done with relief for the American people, solid relief for the American people. The two sides should be working together. There are so many things right now they're all Americans agree on that has divided as we are politically when it comes to covert 19 relief When it comes to the need to get businesses back on their feet, individuals able to pay their bills. There are some real things that this Congress could work together on that the American people they would benefit from and be would agree that they should work together on instead. We're going to do the same political divide. Why, for political capital, this is nothing more than political capitalism. It was Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid when he ran the Senate with that said, never let a good crisis go to waste and that's what they're doing..

"News station. K t A R news, Mike Broom head show Key to our news. 92 3 FM. Thanks so much for being here. It's the Mike Groom had show yesterday more yesterday afternoon carried live. You're on Katya. Our news was the state of the state address by our governor. And he had some very important things to say about business is about schools, and I heard let you this was what Dr Crist said this morning about about other state home waters and states in the condition. They're in with covert 19. But as you look around the country You see areas such as New Jersey and California who have had stay at home orders on and they're still experiencing the same effects that Arizona is experiencing. She is the head of the Arizona Department of Health Services. Yesterday, the governor speaking at the state of the state address, and by the way, look at the experience of the other states that deadlock down. What do they have to show for their strength mandates and orders? They're still dealing with the worst of it. Just as we are. And again. This is a change from what happened at the beginning. I know a lot of business owners that were very upset that our governor did the shutdowns that he did, especially the way that he did them. I respect that as well. But hindsight being 2020. The governor is in an impossible position where he's got to make a decision in the best interest of the people of Arizona. Not knowing what covert 19 was capable of not knowing who it was going to injure or kill, not knowing how deadly it was going to be. There was a blanket statement on a number of occasions about to shut down and the concerns of overwhelming our health care system. As the information came in, as the information morphed. So did the approach and so did the attitudes. Isn't it fascinating to the very people that are the lockdown advocates? Any time someone moves in that direction of more strict control. You're in favor of it. When Dr Fauci said masks or not helpful is a matter of fact. Dr Fauci said masks could be detrimental at the very beginning. But that changed and so did my attitude toward masks. Based on the data from the experts, Dr Fauci has been a huge advocate for mask wearing ever since I wear a mask. Everywhere I go. Now there's adverse effects to wearing masks. We know that. But the the adverse effects of wearing a mask outweigh the are outweighed by the need to wear a mask to prevent the spread or to limit the spread of covert 19. That's what the experts keeps saying. So that changed and the people that liked more strict, strict rules love the fact that they were talking about mask wearing well, the very same experts are governor listening to them. Same with Dr Chris being an experts and listen expert and listening to the CDC. Have said other places are shutting down businesses. As a matter of fact, we're seeing those shutdowns not being helpful why our contact Tracing is showing us that the spread of covert 19 is happening in private gatherings where we can't control mask wearing So the governor has made a decision that we're not going to destroy our economy anymore. We're not going to put more restrictions on our economy. It's already restricted enough. The hospitality industry is dying. We've got spring training right around the.
