"This Friday, sixty seven degrees here at Radio City. Let's call it sixty eight up to sixty eight degrees. We are joined in studio on the Friday forum sponsored by network health by Evans Zepos and judge David Borowski. All right. So we talked about Kris Abeille tearing down tearing down the mansion on the lake front in Shorewood this one intrigues me. So we have right now there's about twenty four candidates running for the nomination on the democratic side of the aisle for president in twenty twenty now Wisconsin. It seems to be about five different people. Do you think that is rights or we missing something here? Evan. He you know, I'm going to say the following and I hope those listening catch the whole part one. I really liked Craig Gilbert reporter who wrote the story, very, very good. Very good reporter. He's done. Excellent work over the years. I've talked to him over the years. But I'll tell you I think he dropped the ball on the story how so well historic premises at their five major candidates, and he goes on to say that he's interviewed thirty people. He makes quantitative judgment based off of thirty interviews. And then if you go halfway into the story, he says the vast majority of people he interviewed don't support a single candidate so that to me, even simple math says that less than fifteen percent of the Pete fifteen people out of thirty have signed on put a candidate and that, you know, suddenly it's five people who are tap he wrote the wrong kind of story. I think the story should have said with that type of research. And I don't criticize him for doing it that way. I'm not comfortable with the story. He should write a story that said still a horse race in Wisconsin. -sin wide open. And I just think he dropped the ball on it or someone who is editing. It. I agree with that creek Gilbert, some very good. Reporters been around for a long time. Knows this stuff in politics, in both Wisconsin and Washington. I'm not come at it from a different angle. And I'm gonna throw out four names for you. Steve and your listeners. Feth molten, not Seth Meyers. Mike gravel Wayne mess him. And John Delaney. No. That's not the starting infield for the Wisconsin timber, Rattlers. Those are people that are actually running for president on the democratic side. You know, the issue for Democrats is realistically, there are only four or five options, there's so many people out there at last count twenty four. I don't think we're done at twenty four. We'll get the twenty five twenty six in fact that they don't get the twenty five I made I'll just around if you what do you think I mean I could finish the head of a few of these people? Here's here's here's what's going on. This thing is wide open. Why do you say that because I don't think it is. Well, I think it is because one you know biting stumbled a little bit this week warrants coming on strong Bernie, who seems to be dropping a little bit Camilla seems to be trying to start the car and get all eight pistons going still not there. And I think two of the more interesting candidates, at least that I found interesting gillibrand and klobuchar still haven't got the engine going. So I think this thing is wide open. But here's. My bottom line. I have no worship this race, at least that at this point I haven't picked candidate, I haven't signed up having supported anyone, but I'm for a BT anyone but Trump who can beat the president is the candidate. I want to see. And I thought former state Representative Bob Turner, who was quoted in Craig story said it, right. He says, you know what the right time, we're all going to come together. That's what matters if you're a democrat. Here's the go ahead. I don't think it's wide open. I think it's there's three or four plausible candidates. Everybody else's just window dressing. They're they're they're they're they're not legitimate candidates. Wayne methods not going to be president. Neither Jay Inslee. Neither is Mike Grell. Who, by the way, I looked at my time, do some research and as much as Evan. He's eighty nine years old would be over ninety where he to take office. Okay. The only legitimate candidates really for the Democrats are fighting here. Full Biden, Bernie Lisbeth Warren, maybe. Kamala Harris, become IRAs is not going to be president of the United States. I think it's Biden's race to lose. Could he lose it? Sure. But he is the most likely candidate of jumbled field with lots of problems to beat Trump. If you're democratic. All right. Let me let me give you my take because I know you guys don't listen to every hour my show, my listeners do. And I've said for a while it's Biden and Clova shar that is the that is the ticket. Now the reason I say is one this twenty four candidates, they do any polling right now Biden comes in around thirty eight percent. That's an incredible number giving twenty four or more candidates. That's pretty significant next. Closest Bernie Sanders around twenty eight and he's seems to be falling rapidly. Why do I think, in Wisconsin, it's Biden, because although he beats Clinton Bernie Sanders in the primary last go around. I cannot believe that people -sconsin think that Bernie Sanders is going to be our next president Democrats, don't think that way, there's some do it's not just Democrats on that was the other piece of my of my puzzle. There are a lot of folks in Wisconsin who don't identify with Democrats or Republicans. They don't they don't care about that. And that's, that's the swing voters and Craig Gilbert is, is excellent and defining and illustrating what they do in elections, and Wisconsin. It goes back and forth. Hence why Trump won in two thousand sixteen in, in Wisconsin. Those swing voters, see Biden as a healthy alternative, if they're again, going back and forth to the president, you use the term anyone but Trump, there are some voters who voted for Trump last time say, I'm not voting for him again, Biden is somebody, they can accept even though they may not vote as a democrat. That's the difference. And some people think Biden can bring back the Obama coalition from two thousand eight whether he. Can or can't is debatable, but he certainly can't make inroads in the middle part of the country. Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan Pennsylvania, where this next race is going to be won or lost. It's where Trump on it. And I think Biden, because he's been around so long because he has some blue collar connections can make inroads there. He's the Democrats flawed, but best choice. The Democrats really are going to run against two groups do things the next time around whoever it is. And if I had to bet today, Steve, I think you're right. It's more likely be Biden's than anyone else. But the Democrats are gonna run against Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Biden's already doing that. And, and the president's playing right into his hand. But the other thing that president that the Democrats are going to run against they're going to run against. They should in my opinion. They should run against Russia and Russia cuts, a lot of different ways from interfering to our election to the president cozying up to them to the fact that they have been rattling their saber. A lot more than the usual. Do an I would run against Russia as much as I'd run against Trump and interesting thing before we go to break as Russia and China seem to be getting along pretty well nowadays and that's too big powers. That's not helpful for our international relations conversation. All right Evans, apples judge David ski one more segment before we get some news, at the bottom of the hour, right here network helps Friday forum WTMJ.

"Because you cannot, there is no end in sight, when you say it's okay to kill people because, you know, we don't want them here or there inconvenient for us right now because what they're doing is they're unpersonalised people. They're saying this person is not a person. So it's okay for us to kill them. You know who did that Hitler and, and the left loves to call us Nazis? But when it comes down to the practices that are being implemented their ideologies, a lot more in line with what the Nazis did than ours for starters, when it comes to killing people that they believe are not people. You. You can't just say a baby is not a person or you know, I saw sign parasites don't have rights, fundamental difference between a parasite and a baby is first of all, parasite is a different species from the host baby is the same species from the house, and you never say that your offspring, which are your future offspring, or your future are parasites. It's absurd. I also what was it Norway? I think it was that they were really excited that they have almost eliminated down syndrome from their country. They were like yeah. Now that we have this test, we have practically eliminated down syndrome in our country. And it just is very, very troubling to me. I mean a you look at all of these down syndrome even dolts they're successful. They, you know, they work fulltime, they have responsibilities. They contribute to society, and I just wonder gosh, how does it how must it feel as someone with down syndrome to hear someone? Saying, we don't even think that you're worth being born, we don't even that you should be here. Exactly the same. And how do you think I feel when I hear people say, oh, a Chow Chow shouldn't be born to probably they don't belong in this world if they're going to be born into property. What? So you didn't even belong here. You know, I it's ridiculous. And then another really bothers me is a lot of a lot of women. Some women are saying that, you know, a mansion, I say so in an abortion, but okay. But when it comes time the pay child support, or you need help you make the man pay. Okay. So what if what if he'd that one? What if you don't identify as the phone men don't actually have a choice, whether or not? Doesn't have a choice, you know. So what if he doesn't? So what if you don't identify the father? So what if he didn't want to be a father? Yes. So tooth two things on that number one, it's shocking to me, the amount of men who latch onto that of, well, it's her body, who are you to say what, what should be taking place in her body?.

"That's fair point. You've gotta pay. One way to look at it. I'm small it wasn't worth the money. Oh, no. A strong. Kathy's two million two. Little keep the ten million won't you Bill. Now. We're halfway through this field. We've heard of what two people so far. Yeah. Are Jay Inslee is next anyone who that is governor of Washington. He wants sanctuary not sanctuary cities. He wants sanctuary states. That's his big proponent. Could they be more noises take the wheel? Number eleven John Hickenlooper another guy saying, he's a moderate I love this quote, though, because this is all these moderates in this field. He says you can have progressive ideas. But you have to present it to them in a moderate way, that's not a moderate guy, who's lying. Yeah. Hooley and Castro number ten thirty four point five assists, score Castro's like one of these guys, it was supposed to be this big, you know deal and it's done. Nothing Hooley in Castro. He's a he was in the Obama administration. No passion for Julio. Mayor San Antonio is just. Join a former this is like all these people. It's like John. Yeah. They're leaving feel right in these stupid things. It's funny every time I get to Julio Castro to I get there on my got him. I only Julio Castro got ready for hours. I'm not going lot. I think sometimes that last name throw people off because reminded the cash Ramaz that crazy one. Yeah. Dale Fidel Fidel Castro's witness. You know is not, you know. Yeah, I was just hear people saying that the America is way too racist. They're never going to elect, a guy with the name of Barack Hussein Obama who has one who one of the guys who's actually are an enemy Saddam Hussein at the time, and Osama bin Laden was only one letter off from Barack Obama. Not corrected analysis. However, were apparently not that raises cheer Kirsten gillibrand. This is my prediction. I made this a couple times. I think she's the first big name to drop out. She got me she's keeps you on a zero percent. No woman, the one that announced again to see that she was going to be on the snow. That's right. That's right. And she had a blizzard Pashur even have she didn't even have a hat on. Glove. Be sitting example. In front of millions of children. It will thousands of children and women, and people, and you'll have no gloves on in the code. You don't even have no manners girl. Bah, can't lead on winter where she lied on. Dangled drink some hot cocoa. Number eight is Amy klobuchar forty one point nine is her score. She's not doing much of anything, honestly, like she passed the Bill on on, you know, getting helped with Republicans to get something passed for tax breaks for gold star families, which is great. I think everyone would the issue here is she's not doing much of any very unremarkable. I think this is a play for her to be vice president. You know, you have if let's say, a Biden win she'd be an obvious. Potential choice for vice president. We'll see how that goes. Seventh. Cory Booker, fifty one point six on the score. Not that high on that's that's down down about three point that high because he's Spartacus. And it's true. Yeah. Anything true? Yes. He well, he wrote an open letter to the world about abortion, two men to sell them to help support women in their abortion rights because you gotta find more babies that we can we're gonna get into this and just a couple of. But was it was interesting is his big point was he was he was worried that women would have to endure, quote lengthy, seventy two hour. Wait. Periods bathroom blink. Bathroom book. We heard what you did in the bathroom, Cory, Cory. We heard what you. Our our seventy two hours days. Sounds really short, but seventy two hours seems like that's too long. I don't know. Number six is Robert Francis?.

"So excited. On this because there's twenty four frigging candidates. And it's driving me crazy. They get longer and longer. No one else joined this race. There's no room for you. So just to review, we have a kind of a score we have about thirty thirty four categories now from polling to fundraising -dorsements all that stuff. And it spits out basically at the end of this a score from zero to one hundred has how well they're doing so we start at the very about on the list anew last place candidate Mike gravel any has anyone heard of Mike Creveld before. Hello, this is interest, because you're wearing the Reagan Bush eighty four shirt the last day Mike gravel had a job in government was the first day. Ronald Reagan was president. No not been in government, since nineteen Eighty-one and see we ran it actually in two thousand eight terrible. But he's eighty nine years old, which makes one of the youngest candidates in the Paul need to go. Okay, number twenty three's, Wayne mess him. Anyone Wayne mess him Wayne who thank you. Three percent of America has a favorable opinion of Wayne mess him. Which sounds bad. It also is bad. So that is going to be he's not going to win number twenty two. Eric swallow, anyone. Well. Well, unfortunately, we've all heard of tease, the one who said we have nukes. Yeah, you have guns and we yes, yes. Gun owners. This is what he loves to do is kind of Trump's around the country, these outlandish remarks, because he loves the attention, which is not working so far for him. Because running for president is hard. And so he's in twenty second place with a score of nineteen point nine Marianne will really quickly, my favorite part about Eric's while while is that I he's like everyone just donate five dollars. You could just donate five dollars. And then he was like, okay, one dollars one cents. Anyone? That's the thing, swale will not qualify doesn't look like. He's going to qualify for any of the debates. How you Eric my Shang leg of haute? On the corner and say, hey, will vote anything. Twenty one is Mary now. She's a spiritual guru. If you don't know she is for the Kardashians and Oprah and things like that. Anyway, she's gonna make the debates though. She's going to be on the stage twenty point six of course. She's in twenty first place. Seth Moulton anyone know who that is. Oh, he's an ex he's a congressman very unknown. He is one of these guys, though, that actually in the democratic field says America is not a socialist country, which is interesting because like that's not a smart thing to say credit field right now. So shockingly enough. He is not winning. John Delaney is the next one he's another guy who says he's a moderate, anyone know John Delaney. I mean, this is amazing. Like, we're, we're at number nineteen and barely any from the movie. Yes. From the Italian. He's nineteenth. Former congressman, he's a moderate. And this moderate just proposed a four trillion dollar global warming spending package. That's the moderate and this crappy field he thinks that's gonna work. I don't know. He's saying, I'm not a lot. Tim Ryan, anyone on Tim Ryan, yet another congressman another unknown congressman. This is a guy who ran as a pro life, democrat was elected initially as a pro life, democrat..

"Welcome to the news and why it matters. I am Sara Gonzalez, we are joined by two very special guests today, we have got comedian Terrance Williams in the house. Greats. Bobbio. Thank you got a brand ambassador of turning point, Mr. Joel. Patrick also in the house, and obviously his future is bright. Can't wait to get into all of that. I wanna thank our sponsor relief factor. So terri-. I know you were just recently in a very bad car is I was on my way to the White House. I was going to the I was going to a black history summit at the White House. Never made it. I got off the plane and my driver picked me up and hit the back of somebody. Yeah. So and you were in, I was out. I was out of commission for about three to four months. I had surgery on my neck and my four five, six all fractured. So I've been out of it. Yes. So you need to listen up if you didn't hear on Glenn program earlier about relief factor. So it's I I was in a car accident as well. I got some. "Mayor of Miramar, Florida. Yes, he is. Mike gravel those you remember him he ran into eight. It was famous for a very awkward commercial where he stood in front of a pond and stared at the camera for like a minute and a half. Really the only thing he's back in the race. He's eighty seven. Eighty seven years old. Bullock, Ryan the governor of Montana. Sorry awful. Is he he's trying to run as a moderate that's going to work. I don't think so. I think he's modern Tim Ryan, Jay Inslee, John Hickenlooper Kirstin gillibrand is the one that really stands out hero percent that she was supposed to be a top tier candidate a second to your catheter and zero percent. If there's one person I would point to who this is, I mean, Beto you could definitely make the point. It's been a disaster. But at least he had a high point Jilib LeBron has been basically one percent or zero percent since she got in, and she's a Senator from New York, like there's a case, here, you'd think she made big ways with her calling for what's his face Al Franken to resign, and that's one of hurting her because Democrats don't want me to rules apply to them. That replied to Republicans. It's very specific. That's for sure. So then you have John Delaney who's been running since mid two thousand seventeen who is he that he, he wasn't congressman from Maryland? He's, he's not even that, now it's not even that he I think he the beginning of the year like he didn't run for reelection. I think as of two thousand nineteen he's no longer, but he's been running since two thousand seven because everybody was clamoring for president running for that John, what are you gonna run for president? Yeah, they were. And then Michael Bennett, who is one of the most recent guys who got a Senator from Colorado also at zero percent. So now you've got eleven of the twenty four at zero percent. But you didn't mention Marianne Williamson does she of one percent. There's no way, let's go to the next group here and Tim Ryan Tim Ryan. Okay. So how many candidates again eleven or down zero percent? How many are at one percent? Oh, she's twenty four. Total candidates eleven zero percent. How many are at one five? Sounds about right. Very close. Six six candidates at one percent. Are you ready for them? Yes. Andrew yang. Oh, yeah. Marianne Williams, gang gang. One percent of the population. Waiting to make his move and it is not one percent of the population of democrat. So one percent for Andrea. Yes one percent for Marianne Williamson if you don't know who she is. She's a new age guru that basically she's as a lot of associations with Oprah. She's gone Oprah show a lot Cardi the Kardashian family of a celebrity situation. She's gonna win the election, right? The only path for her is like Oprah and Kim Kardashian both endorsing her and like campaigning for. They're not to percents Tulsi Gabbard is at one percent. I feel like I've seen her doing quite a few interviews the last week or so. I feel like they're trying to really push her tells trying to make a move. I don't know this working, she's a really weird candidate because she's a very strange set of viewpoints issue those, she's very photogenic. She looks good on camera. She when, when you see your an interview, she sounds like the most boring, think tank foreign policy, wonk you've ever heard like she's very serious monotone, and she also has a very strange history for Democrats in that her dad was a big time, like anti gay rights campaigner, like decades ago. And she was, you know, appeared at events with him and. Yeah. You know again. Shoes of former. Military is really strong on that. The there is a there are a lot of fan clubs out there. These days you go at Facebook. Find the fan clubs go. Join the groups there's not a lot of members of the bushier all Saad fan club. It's basically just tolsey Gabbard. I think David Duke those two and by the way in the past. David Duke has actually endorsed tells you Gabbard David Duke. Oh, she's of course, rejecting an endorsement as most do. But that is a weird candidate. Bill de Blasio also at one percent Julio Castro at one percent that's been a disaster to you're talking about another guy who's made. No impact. Yeah. Because he was supposed to be the next rising star in the democrat party. Five years before Buddha, jets, basically, except he was mayor of a much larger city Senate Tonio and want to be. Cory Booker at one percent. That's a disaster. Yeah, Cory Booker absolutely deserves one. You know, really, really miniscule support more than Cory Booker. Nobody deserves it. What percent is too much really is. If you miss it, we did we've been doing these candidate profiles, the socialist spotlight on the Glenn Beck a TV show. Go back and watch the Cory Booker won. I mean some of the dealings with him in Newark are fascinating. Really? I mean, he would he started his own tech company, Wiley bear. Got it funded by all these big, you know, big names multimillionaires test, and it was just like a it was it was a we we've already been doing. Oh, yeah. I think he wanted to be a progressive search engine. Yeah. They give them a fortune because, you know, and then, of course, lots of people have benefited from his treatment in Newark also gave him money, shockingly, as he's thinks it's worth going back and checking that out. So that's the six Booker Castro de Blasio Gabbard Williamson Yang at one percent. Okay. Next one between two and five percent. How many five so far, we've you have seventeen candidates at one percent or less? Beddoes between two and five. Yeah. Right. Between two and five he's at four percent. Comma, Harris between two and five no. Wow. Okay. There's two other candidates between two and five can you name them? We don't know that I can. He's got to be love father that he's, he's above above that, right? Oh, you know what I was going to say I should probably two and six, I actually done so well. So. The whole thing. I did. I did everything. Between two six sorry about that. So I can't come up with two more. I don't think because. Clova shower that grow closure. Yes. Three percent. For closure closure four percent. Roque one candidate is at six percent is just a bad person. Can you guess who's at six percent?.

"But the supreme court is say that if newspapers did print, then of course, they would be subject to prosecution now the newspapers after that reporting that not print anymore. They had already printed some stuff and they were risk for that. And so they chose not to not to poke the government and the I any further down that lifted dilemma because the what they what they have published us far was not nearly enough of the Pentagon papers. So I was able to go to beacon press, the only publication arm of the of the church and the only one in the entire u. United States of prepared to publish all the papers. And so they did. And of course, beacon press by self and Ellsberg were all prosecuted by the Nixon administration under secrecy act. Now in my case, the went to the supreme court and premium court ruled unanimously that under the speeches abate clause of the constitution. I could release what I did. But however, when I went to the private sector to publish the papers that I was at risk also. And so that issue when on the window supreme court, and and we lost we won that any member of congress could release whatever he or she felt the American public should know. And they could not be touched, and you regard. But with. Respect to publishing beyond the congress. So that's a whole other matter and Nixon put put in could have indicted us invited me and the became press. What have you, but he was on his way to a big victory in reelection. And also he was well aware of the beginning of the of the criminals, criminality and of Watergate, which he was deeply involved. And so we're speaking with Senator Mike rebel honored that you're on the show today. Thank you so much for for for all you've done and for for being here today and.

This was a little controversial in San Francisco. Think did ask you. Yes, or no, I am not for free four year college for all no. Now, it's cuts to a shot of Mike rebel just doing a pan up from the feet up to the head. He's sitting there on a bench in a park with cane. He is eighty eight years old and he nods to the camera and he shakes his head. No. Being here we go. Are being killed as I speak to you tonight killed as a direct result of policy decisions. We as a body have made. This approach of war on drugs has not succeeded. We've spent billions of dollars on it, and we fill up our prisons point where where the embarrassment of the world, we're supposed to be a democracy. We've got more people in prison. Two point three million people in prison. We spend more as a nation on the fence than all the rest of the world. But together, this whole nation should be a sanctuary for the world on the shamed. As an American to be building a fence on our southern border. That's not the America. Mike bought for our soldiers die in Vietnam in vain. You can now John go to Hanoi and get it Baskin Robbins ice Breen comb, why do they hate us? So so many places around the world because we kill so many people want Joe to you to you have a certain arrogance. You want to tell you Rockies how to run their country. We can get off a gasoline five years. We'd get off a carbon years all we gotta do is one to do it. Just get out. It's their country. They're asking us to leave. And we insist on staying there the military industrial complex not only controls our government lock stock and barrel. But they control our culture. He threw a big rock into the water. This time it wasn't a stone. Skipping across the surface says America needs voice for Justice help Mike rebel get to the debates to be that voice. Mike need sixty five thousand donations to be a part of the debates donate as little as one Dollar Time to make some ways for change. I'm Mike rebel. And I'm running for prison. And there's a shot of Mike rebel walking away from the creek. It says gravel twenty twenty donate at Mike Griddle, GRA E L dot org. And there's Mike rebel. Two point. Oh, Iraq to point out. That's his kickoff campaign kickoff and micro Vel again, if you're not familiar with Mike rebel, he he's I believe he's eight years old now he was a US Senator from Alaska he served from nineteen sixty eight to nineteen Eighty-one. He ran for the presidency in two thousand eight and as again running for the democratic nomination and twenty twenty now micro Vel was a fierce opponent of the Vietnam war and in nineteen seventy one he basically took Daniel Ellsberg, let me share this with you from microfilms website because it's really important. Let me see if I can find it. Of course, I closed out that page, dammit. Well, all right. So I won't read it, but but Daniel Ellsberg had just gotten the Pentagon papers. And he was trying to get them published, but he needed somebody to read them into the congressional record. Enter Mike gravel. Well, he took Ellsberg up on his offer. And he read the Pentagon papers into the congressional record thus giving him cover to the for the New York Times and the Washington Post and other papers to publish them. Pretty revolutionary move on his behalf after leaving the Senate in nineteen Eighty-one gravel left, Washington DC..

"Owens said Lou took her remarks that of context and Trump himself said that's a horrible thing to do her. That's just a horrible thing to do. He's a horrible thing to do to us. Just gotta say horrible. All right. There's more news. But what screw it? We've got Mike rebel coming up in a couple of minutes. And I want to play something for you before we get him on the phone. You might recall. Back in two thousand eight when micro Vel I threw his hat in the presidential ring. He released an ad a video, and it was a rock rippling across the water. The water. And it was a lot of him just sitting there. Well, he's released I should say they've released rock two point. Oh, a new campaign video that I'm gonna play for you. Now, if you are watching on YouTube, you'll see the whole thing. But if you're listening to the audio stream, I will talk you through the parts that is just. Mike rebel, looking at the water or or skimming, the the rock across the pond or whatever because. There's a lot of that in this video. But it is it is worth the view or the listen. So here we go take it away. Mike rebel twenty twenty. There's the pond. Let's maybe bring up day, which is the green new deal much will this cost Tucker. Curls. How will we pay for it unknown? I want you to know that no other secretary has ever told us the day before that they were going to limit their time in the way that you're doing. So if you want to use them as samples you have acted differently. The they have acted in as as I have said if you wish you may. If you'd wished to keep me here. So that I don't have my important meeting and continue to grill me, and we can do that. I will cancel my meeting, and I will not be back here. I will be very clear the way you'd like to have this relationship. Thank you, gentlemen. The secretary has agreed to stay to hear all of the rest of the members. You're immune to the press respect that time. It was next on the floor meeting. You're instructing me to stay here. And I should know you just made me an offer. I didn't make you maybe offered that. I accept it. I did not offer. Just let's be clear instructing me. You are ordering me to stay here. No. I'm not ring you. I'm responding. I said, you may leave anytime you want, and you said, okay. If that's what you wanna do. I'll cancel my appointment. And I'll stay up here. I'm responding to your request. If that's what you want. What I wanna do? I told you like to do what I've told you. I thought it was respectful that you'd let me leave at five fifteen three to leave any time you make. You want dismiss everybody. I believe you're supposed to take the gravel and wrap. Please do not instruct me as to how to conduct this committee. Anti. Your important meeting scheduled a meeting that's more important than the congress of the United States. This meeting had been scheduled. How dare you say something else is more important? But go ahead, you're meeting. You wanna go you go. She was brilliant. Steve Mnuchin, we got a little song for you Stevie. Yeah. What we can say it. Unfortunately, they're the ones in power right now today, by the way, April tenth is the deadline set by Richard Neal, the chairman of the House Ways and means committee for the IRS to turn over six years of Donald Trump's tax returns Mnuchin who needs a vowel said that they will not be cooperating. Guess what it's not up to him. It really isn't. It's the law. In other news at a House Judiciary hearing on hate crimes and white nationalism on social media all hell broke loose yesterday. Youtube had to disable comments on the livestream of the hearing because they were filled with antisemitic and racist remarks, but you gotta love Ted lieu he ticked off the conservative by playing a clip of Candace Owens aren't even know who this woman is. But she's some conservative idiot. Who said in the clip was of her saying that Adolf Hitler's motive to quote. Make Germany Great was quote, fine..

And I didn't hear anybody asked him. This question does that include vodka Trump? What about Don jR? What about Jared? Are they peripheral third parties, I need to know we need to know. Congressman Jerrold Nadler, who's the chair of the House Judiciary committee said he will issue a subpoena to get the full unredacted report and its underlying evidence. If bar dozen voluntarily submitted to congress here CNN on what some of the stuff that went down yesterday. And of course, this attorney general not ho this hearing without mentioning the elephant in the room and address it. They did attorney general William bar telling lawmakers today, he will soon be ready to release special counsel Robert Mueller's report, I think that from my standpoint within a week, I will be in a position to release the port to the public, but not the complete version Democrats are clamoring for I don't intend. This this stage to send the full unredacted report to the committee bars resistance setting off a pointed exchange over six e the rule governing the release of grand jury material that material is meant to be kept secret except in certain circumstances. Barr says. This isn't one of say that until someone shows me provision, sixty permits release congress doesn't get six and the chairman of the judiciary committee's free to go to court if he feels one of those exceptions applicable bars comments setting up a fight between congress and the Trump administration over the fate of the Muller report. Democrats on the House Judiciary committee already authorized a subpoena for the full report and its underlying evidence. So far Democrats haven't moved forward with it. But that could soon change I presume we're going to get the redacted report within a week when we do. So if we don't get everything we will issue the subpoena and go to court under fire today for how he crafted his summary of Muller's conclusions. All we have is your four page summary with seems to cherry pick from the report to draw the most favorable conclusion possible for the president bar defended the substance of his letter. I felt that I should state the bottom line conclusions, and I tried to use special counsel Muller's own language and doing that they'll only about one hundred words in the four page letter. We're Muller's bar added. That Muller declined to weigh in on it. Mr. mothers team did not play a role in drafting that documental though, we offered him the opportunity to review it before we sent it out, and he declined that also acknowledged the White House counsel was given a heads up about the initial summary sent to congress we did advise the White House counsel's office that the letters were being sent. But they were not allowed or even ask to make an each ages to the that he refused to say whether the White House has seen the full report. I've said what I'm going to say about the report, I don't know how he's able to get away with that. He was on Capitol Hill answering questions he should have been required to answer the actual questions. But that wasn't the only hearing on Capitol Hill yesterday Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin was on Capitol Hill, of course. Running cover for dump. In saying, you're never gonna see tax returns. Oh, actually, he said that on TV on Sunday. But, but you know, he's spewed other nonsense, but never fear Maxine Waters is here. Yes. Treasury secretary. "But of course, I'm living in opposite world where nothing fucking make sense anymore. Then there was that moment today when the attorney general accused the intelligence community of spying his word on Donald Trump's presidential campaign. It came in response to questioning from Senator Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire for the same reason. We're worried about foreign influence elections. We wanna make sure that. During elect spying on a political buying deal too. Big deal generation, I grew up in which is the Vietnam war period. People were all concerned about spying on antiwar people and so forth by the government. And there were a lot of rules put in place to make sure that there's an adequate basis so anyway. His voices as grading dumps. Okay. So there's a bar saying that it was. That they were spying. Well, Bryan shots. Senator from Hawaii followed up by asking if maybe he wants to change his choice of words do want to reframe what you're doing because I think the word spying could cause everybody in the cable news ecosystem to freak out. And I think it's necessary for you to be precise with your language here. You normally are I want to give you a chance to be especially precise here. I'm not sure of all the. Kind of -tations of that word that you're referring to but unauthorized surveillance. I'm gonna make sure there was no road surveillance. Yeah. Maybe those words first unauthorized surveillance, which it wasn't on authorized it was completely authorized, but that's besides the point you accused the intelligence community of spying using that very word. You are an obstruction of Justice Bill bar needs to be impeached. Actually, he never should have been confirmed and Democrats had more. Senators he wouldn't have been that's why it's imperative that Democrats take back the Senate in addition to the White House in twenty twenty we need to put the Republicans out to pasture where they're belong. All right. So let's go a little into what happened yesterday. So that's when Barr appeared before the house appropriations committee, and he told them that he'll release a redacted version of the mullahs report within a week. I guess it's going to be our tax day surprise. He said that the public version of the report will be redacted to conceal grand jury information, which by the way, he could have. Released if he would go to court and ask a judge to allow it to be released as has been done many times in the past. He refuses to do that. So the public version of the report will be word acted conceal. Grand jury information classified national security details that could reveal sources and methods. Details that could compromise ongoing investigations..

"We have a new contestant now up to eighteen people which is officially more than the Republican field. Incredible. Incredible. They're up to eighteen candidates. And we still don't have several top line like front Louis several. We don't have Joe Biden who Joe Biden. Well, I mean, I guess top end is is a little bit stretching it, but Terry McAuliffe looks like he might. Governor is not gonna be you're gonna run. Yeah. Well, yes, he's going to run Terry McAuliffe is like Hillary Clinton Yar do. Yes. But I mean, Hillary Clinton was the nominee last time. She was the wars. She was the worst. Oh, gosh. Now. Now, they're starting to fall off our board the poor case. Good good. Maybe that's the way it should be just whichever candidate last on this tape on our board. We put them all up. We have a giant board in the studio with all of the candidates laid out if you shot of that in the category if we can in the categories. They go from on the fence dropped out. And then we have the the way we kind of wind them up is a little strange, which is front runners. Then there's gotta shot. Then there's I mean, maybe if everything goes, right, then there's probably not then there's not. So we've added to candidates to the category today, congressman Eric swale. Well. And who is Eric swallow? He's running on a anti gun platform. And he's been doing a lot of tweeting trying to get himself in the news. At least again, some of these. I it's hard to tell when they start running. You have people who have been running for weeks. And then they're like, here's our official announcement celebration. You're like, wait a minute you've been running for six weeks. And then the other one is Tim Ryan who just fell off. So I don't think it's not a good sign. I can't go any endorsement for me. And I consider even the board kind of an endorsement any endorsement for me. So I just want to make this clear. Yeah. I'm not going to be making any endorsements. I'm not going to campaign for anybody. No matter how much I love you despise, you, whatever nothing nothing is coming out of my mouth, this this presidential election nothing. My my wife could run for president. It'd be like don't you're gonna have to make up your own decision. The Trump campaign is like thank you. Thank you. So this of debt? Yes. Seventeen candidates ran for the GOP primary in twenty seventeen of some. You know, there's always a bunch of candidates where like flaky kind of joke candidates, but people with some level of credibility, some level of accomplishment, some level of service in the government, blah, blah, blah. We are up to now. Eight teen candidates with I would say on the fence. We have Joe Biden. Who's almost definitely we have Steve Bullock who keeps saying he's going to run. We have Michael Bennett who could potentially run McAuliffe looks like he's in Seth Moulton is another congressman who looks like he's going to run, Mike. Gravel is an interesting one. Now, Mike Ravelli like nine hundred years old. He's eighty seven. Seven. Okay. And well that's just mean that's a spring chicken seven as eighty seven, and I will say the the Democrats keep getting these older and older candidates. They need to just go for it. And listen to us and Nate are man Lancer wolf and twenty twenty I have the yard sign all ready to go. It's right here. It's Lester Wolff twenty twenty. Yes. He's one hundred to two. But if if elected he will serve, and he'll be I believe one hundred four right after the right after the inauguration, right? And this guy's he's the oldest living democratic congressman that at least we could find it might be somebody older, and it seems like that's the main requirement or democratic he's white. He's a male white old guy. Oh, no. Oh, my what good God if lesser wolf just fell off the board. We're standing across the room as talk to you about him that if something happens. Today. It's our fault. I feel this is a sign. They're telling us that this is happening. Maybe he doesn't want to run. We have to go down to he's dead. Maybe died. Maybe that's what I'm really seriously. I remember, I just said kiss of death. Oh my gosh. Please check on Lester wolf because if I just clap Lester wolf and the Seinfeld off about what six or eight feet behind me at the same time. If he dies today that never talking about politics ever again. No, this'll be a show of it will be it will visit died today. Please check on make sure he's okay. I'm sure there's a I'm guessing there won't be any satellite trucks at the hospital. But let's let's check that was a chill wind just blew through the studio if something oh my God. Now, I'm terrified here. I have a tingle up my leg, we should make sure people understand that. We are make sure everyone knows we're here. We had nothing to do with anything that happens today. One hundred and two years old just said Kisa death. You said. Kiss of death. And then you said he's the one that should run. And then just as you said his name fell off the board. That is so weird please put the camera on the on the boarding, and you see it on the floor now because I know we just had the camera there it is on the floor. We just had the camera pyre. Go ahead bring give a shot of the chalkboard. Go up on the chalkboard. That's I mean, that's that's the that was actually really legitimately chilly. I hope. Hello, Lester is okay. Because we really do. Well after we do not want president. No, I don't because we will the life. Glenn Beck does not endorse you doesn't endorse. Two more. Stacey Abrams who is talking seemingly publicly of flirting with a run. She's also been rumored as Joe Biden's vice presidential choice if she if he were to win. And then the other one who is doing everything that a candidate would do. There's a big story about it. I believe in the New York Times today, Bill de Blasio is going to early states. He's he spoke at a pack. He he's doing all the early candidate stuff. Do you have Bloomberg? And I don't have Bloomberg because you should have Bloomberg Bloomberg came out this week. He did I think he's doing it. Because of Biden, if Biden doesn't get in Bloomberg's going to do it because Bloomberg in case, you didn't have not followed this saga, which endless. I mean, every frigging four years we hear this from this guy. But he says he's got run for president. He's thinking about it. And then he says, no. Well, we went through that cycle already. And then because Joe Biden is is apparently just massaging just a few too many people if the idea is if Biden doesn't come into the race, Bloomberg will I have a feeling I will tell you after you see the show next Thursday next Thursday. I want you to sign up for the blaze TV right now and watch next Thursday. If you don't have a subscription do it. There's this look I am giving you a hard sell on the blaze since we began. And it is so well worth the money. Now, we have we have all of the talent were gaining new talent all the time. There's so much programming on it. Now, you couldn't watch it all it's bigger than a network like FOX there is and we are only behind FOX now. And I don't not looking to beat anybody. I'm just telling you, this is a growing platform we have had one hundred percent growth in viewership over the last few months every single month. A hundred last month. I think it was like one hundred eight percent something like that. Yeah. It's crazy. It's crazy. So please subscribe to the blaze use the promo code Glenn. You're gonna save yourself ten bucks. But this is really important. I'll tell you why there is an you will see it when we do the Joe Biden thing, and then we have another special coming up in about a month. From now on communism. We're doing the research the kind of research we used to do when I was at FOX because there's a whole new group of people. Now, all of the all the things we exposed about Soro's and tides that's yesterday that's ten years ago. The stuff that we're exposing. Now is absolutely talk. Sick. It is when you see the special we're going to do in about four weeks. It'll blow your mind you will see we're going to show you what America will look like in a very short period of time possibly three years from now what this country looks like. And we'll show you the path. Of destruction. It's being followed to the letter, and we'll more on that. But next week when you see the special on Joe Biden, I think there's a chance he doesn't run smart because I think there is jail time in his future and the way to avoid it is just disappear, right? There's the spotlight comes on. I think Paul metaphor lives out his union. He doesn't become a Trump official is exactly the same kind of crime that Paul Manafort is going in fact, it's not the same. It's the same people. It's the same people Paul Manafort went, and he was taking money under the table nefarious kind of stuff with really bad people in the Ukraine that are directly. Tied to Putin and to Russia, Biden son is doing the same thing. And it is, you know, a tit for tat you Joe Biden is doing things in China. And and for Russia and everything else and his son is getting paid on the side. It's really bad when you wills will expose the China stuff next week. You don't wanna miss it? Anyway, sign up for the blaze. I think that there is a chance that Biden doesn't run. I know everybody counts him in now. But I don't think he's going to run. You don't think he's I think he won't run. I I would agree with you. There's not there is a chance if something if some in this scandal, no smarter than that. And I think the way this scandal looks at me today, and we'll no more next week. But the way the scandal looks to me today. Vines not a stupid guy. This was a way to enrich his family. He is now at the end of his life. Really? I mean, you know, he's in the last few pages of his of his life. If you look at years as pages. He's maybe looks say he's lucky. He's got twenty more years in him. Why would you why would you destroy your family now because he's a smart guy? He knows and unless he's completely era Ghent like Paul Manafort. But a pulled completely arrogant guy is going to have some attorneys around him that will say Joe don't do it. Don't do it. It won't be worth it..

So I would say Joe Thornton as for the patriots. Oh, dear. I really liked Mike gravel who's now. The head coach of the Tennessee titans. But I'll go with Steve Grogan, Steve Steve girl. Because when I was a kid, and I was growing up in New Hampshire. We would go to. I mean, we would go to the old FOX Pearl and empty stadiums. I remember being there. One particularly brutal and cold day. This was nearly empty. The patriots were terrible. And there was this huge drunk guy who is thinking about four rows behind my family and the entire game. All he kept screaming was way walk. We get. I don't even remember who the starting quarterback was. I just remember that memory from my childhood. So I didn't grow up a patriots fan. I've been a Broncos fans inside was thirteen. However, I'll say Steve Grogan just because he was kind of the bridge with those really terrible years. Grogan was everybody's favorite player. Life before Brady not. So pretty oh. Well, what about your blitz though, come on? That's true. All right. Well, we'll move on. Anyway, Cody wants to know what is your favorite video game console or video game that you've ever played? What the video game console? You mean? Like, the Nintendo PlayStation XBox like the access system. I don't have any of those. I'm not a video gamer. I'm not a gamer. My brother loves that kind of stuff and one of my nieces does to you. But that's just not I spend too much time having to sit in front of the TV computer screen anyway. So it's not by way of relaxing. I have by my best friend has two young sons who love fortnight. So every now, and then I'll watch them play it. And and my niece loves to build things. So she likes the games where you are building towns or communities farm, she's really there's some farmville maybe she really enjoys that my favorite game. When I was growing up was burger time burger time and frogger or my two favorites. And we played miss pacman a lot this back, and we had an old Commodore sixty four so I get it. That's not your favorite game console. But those are the games that I played when I was a kid. And that's yeah. That's really burger time is my favorite throwback. My favorite video game that I play when I was younger, and if I had a burger time like on my phone or I can download burger time on my computer. Now Luxor is one of my mom, and I like to play. So we do that on the computer every now and then, but yeah, I'm not I'm not a gamer. Sorry, sorry to disappoint. You frogger counts. Mike, Mike, Hugh status just went walk walk. But I've told you before I'm not hip, not even close. So if you're looking for hip answers, that's not me. No. I think a nice little history lesson. They're suffice plenty. Okay. Cool. So Gregoire no less than what does Saturday or Sunday. Look like for you. How do you keep up with all the games? They didn't really ask you. What Sunday looks like for me. He wants to know. Okay. So I'm sorry. Finish your question. How do you keep up with all the games, and how do you decide which wants to pay the most attention to well storylines dictate? I don't dictate storylines too. So obviously you're talking about big time streaks major accomplishments games that go down to the wire games between first place teams are contenders. I mean, I don't pick the story the NFL decides. If we're talking about Sundays, and it's kind of interesting that you would ask me what my Sunday's look like because I feel like my Sunday's look like pretty much everybody else's Sundays. I watch games all day long. How do I follow them while I watch them? And so the work day starts on Sunday at one o'clock eastern today embassy if they get it runs all the way through Sunday night football and then into our show, and I have a laptop I have a radio. I have a TV I can go back and forth between the games. But also, I catch a lot of them online too. And so that's the job. I take notes all day Sunday as for Saturdays. I will watch the college football matchups. I do not watch every college. Football matchup there impossible, and I have to take one day away from sports that I can possibly get it usually Fridays sports free zone. A hang out with friends. I watch movies. I do stuff that has nothing to do with sports because my brain needs a break. Although now, I've started doing Columbia women's basketball, which means that I'm doing basketball games sometimes on Friday. So I try to take time away on Saturday and Sundays are right.
