A. well we're obsessed with ourselves here nothing wrong with that. Joe in Long Island New York east of the Rockies Hey Joe go ahead yeah hi guys two quick questions one would be anything happen on sat someone was nuts and three men and a baby is someone might of the mother on sat I know that chariot race in about an hour supposedly someone will was actually trampled or even a couple of people on the left and then the phone wondering if there's something that actually happened while filming that's interesting and also do you believe that some of these people plus stuff then that had an an element of truth that which we thought was really just section example might be eyes wide shut I think that was and about how we were per se but it was about maybe the weeds and many people who break actually met people like that. world as far as the like of the three men and a baby thing certain things show up in films that hard to explain now with the internet it's really easy to explain it because we before we stood to watch a movie like the wizard of oz we'd have to wait a year to see it now you just pop it on YouTube or whatever and and there was a story about the munchkin who supposedly hang themselves in the background of one of the scenes and now that everyone has this copy on DVD you in HD you can see this is just a bird walking in the distance but people still want to remember that munchkin hanging back there that they left it in the movie now I know the the gentleman is referring to the there's a a child in a window like hidden in the hitting hidden in the curtains in one of the scenes of three men and a baby and I I've not I sure was a cardboard cut out anything is how would you explain the window or something like that yeah yeah with a cardboard cut out of a figure I think maybe Ted Danson or one of the one of the actors yet and which one it was that will move the bunk but certainly people have died on film sets Scott are you familiar with the Allman house O. M. A. N. Hey David yeah I do know David you know develop both of ours yeah did you tell us a little bit about that story. or they they would have a house that's four doors down from where the Tate murders occurred on cielo drive up in Benedict canyon and David's house is only about twenty something years old and David's house is. crazy haunted I've I've been in it several times and I've seen things that are just it's probably the most the most absolutely paranormal the you know things that seem much more obviously things flying sort of events that happen is now so he's definitely got a a crazy haunted house there any built in the with his father Dini that's correct yes back in nineteen ninety nine so it's not that old house isn't that old which is again it's you know it's a whole residue that whole canyon here he is you know literally right across from Valentino's place and and just a couple of doors down from from the Sharon Tate place and yeah there's just it's just that I mean David's house is yeah it's on every every go show that's ever been up there is come up with with something and most of the people swear they will go back again he's in the wrong place at the wrong time or or the right place at the right time depending on how you look at it yeah absolutely next up let's go to Walter in Allentown Pennsylvania Hey waltz go ahead. hi George I told Tom I hate to call you mortar once a week but I couldn't I could not myself tonight it's a great subject yeah it is a very interesting conversation why yes your guests I have already mentioned the late great George Reeves Superman Evie was everybody Shiro as you know Georgie was your hero and my hero during the fifties. he supposedly took his life well after being fresh he was tied gases Superman suppose we couldn't get any other parts now George I either read or heard that he took his own life. with semi comic the icon a Dremel luger pistol now I started down this probably no other classification of firearms that has appreciated as much as Wilbur's. now your guess said he has a. yeah when the artifacts and all I got to say is that the if the LAPD he still has that will grow in their possession it would it would be a priceless artifacts it might be billed as the kryptonite will gore and in my opinion it would bring in excess of a million dollars an option. one problem we do have I'm not sure what the value of firearms like that but I I completely trust what you're saying and the idea that it has that piece of Hollywood history attached to it is not going to hurt the value of it not at all how do you obtain these items god do you have to buy them there are they donated what how do you cut you get them well a lot of these things are just got myself like you know pieces of the hotel the ambassador hotel in the brain Jones who was a fireplace the the things that I've I've got myself I've acquired them in person now that we have a museum people do send me things a lot a lot of people have one thing you know that they have the you know well what am I going to do with this I carried around every time I move so they send them to me somebody sent me very recently a piece of some stones from our Schmidt and then some people sent me something from the Alcatraz dining hall you know it's so then the Queen Mary Ann and all sorts of things just sort of end up in my shop and and and I love that we we see if they if they have that they took the country on inside everything isn't fastened down will end up here in LA and every weird object will end up in my museum do you think George weaves committed suicide. you know that that is one thing that I I I I personally do not I do believe that there was something more going on it with is that you ma'am got into a fight or something well he was he was seeing Tony Mannix who is the wife of Eddie Mannix who is a wanted that big weeks at MGM they kept things under control of something were to happen with the celebrity that he would be the guy to call in to certainly keep it on the on the down low and George's career was going well he he he was he was not on happy like they say he had an unusual girl girlfriend at the time Leonore lemon the thing that spells this thing out so strange George is it you know billion or lemon was entertaining George was asleep upstairs he came down angry because she had these people and and and told just to calm down and by the time the conversation ended he was happy the civil just just you know keep it low please anyway back up and then she said they were friends now he's walking across the living across the bedroom and you get hears footsteps she does now he's going to open up the dresser drawer and then she says now he's going to get the gun out and then you hear the gun that really happened that's in the book that's that's weird but he didn't get into an argument with his girlfriend at a restaurant that night right that that I'm not familiar with that that is a story I don't know June and then it came back as a house full of people there too yeah it was there were three yeah yeah and don't know it just doesn't it just doesn't sound right it doesn't and is usually yeah it doesn't sound right. and to the caller's other question about what the LAPD has there's a really great they have a lot of interesting artifacts they hold on to other stuff still destroyed the can't link it to a crime but evidently to a crime they there's you know warehouse warehouses evidence they have some of the stuff from the Tate la Bianca murders there and Scott is seen I think some of that stuff but not be a problem display before and crazy thing love people don't know about you they have the door of BBC no Biggie Smalls suburban and he'd never see a bullet riddled he was killed and so on because they found out that that suburban he was riding in was a rental car and after they've been processed by the crime scene techs it was returned to the company and then daily PD found out that someone was a body shop had the door and they were gonna try to sell it and the LAPD when confiscated the door and put it into their storage so if you know where to look and the LAPD's archive you can go see you know big is full of little door on display somewhere it's probably you know on a shelf in a corner or something are both of those murders a two parks in Biggie's unsolved still officially there unsolved yes but my document you pointed out that about a decade ago what happened LAPD task force on got no credible confessions to both murders but for various reasons they're not they're not solvable primarily because both shooters and those murders of offense died themselves with those shooters hired by somebody. in both cases sort of the one that I believe that the punctuated with a guy named Orlando Anderson he got into a fight with the exactly two hours before he was fatally shot Orlando Anderson was the enforcer and gaining I I you know the killer gang member and and he was not someone you should walk up and points the way to two Buck did under a little more to the story there but he was he he was killed himself over a bad drug deal about eighteen months later in Compton and then Biggie's killer was allegedly hired by many say your food night or a bit even indicted by somebody to get basically revenge. sure is that guy and that guy was killed back in I think two thousand three I think that he was murdered in a drive by insured nights in jail on himself for driving over one of his friends right and a filming right right. strange nine get like he got twenty some years I think for that let's go to Lynnwood Washington west of the Rockies hello Diana go ahead hi great and program tonight I'm enjoying it thank you dear and "And history makes him of a really interesting cases never really been looked at seriously by anyone it still sits there and so the unsolved case file in would you highlight cases like this in the in the podcast the dearly departed podcast. definitely yeah it's the thing is the odd little stories about people that you may be for crime you know would but but what for instance there's a woman by the name of seizing cabbage she she her she is some called the wasp woman and you know the kind of went no where either she was she was a a pretty lady beautiful actress will say and she had some interesting romances and she had a child and they lived in Sherman oaks and she wasn't working so much anymore but one day her son murdered her with a barbell she's and pleasure to death and his is the barbell in a box of tide detergent then called the police claiming ninjas chill because mother and son Timothy was a actually a medically defined the war and he was gone he got away with the crime he was acquitted because he was an experimental growth hormones so there's a story for you and three I think of our show that's right that's right the two or three at once well she was a one time wonder in the movies yeah but she also Timothy Roman Scott who was our son was they they it was rumored to be he was with her affair with king Hussein of Jordan so it just because it's weirder and weirder and there's a see a potential involvement in all of that and everything it's the really bizarre story. note so her death makes her yeah interesting to me that those are the kind of interesting stories that I kinda gravitate towards the things you didn't know about the things you maybe thought you knew everything about their history you know and those are the ones that we that pique our interest what was the silent movie theatre murder what was that. well there and it is a fascinating story there was literally a silent movie theater on Fairfax near in here in Hollywood and Jim one husband wife opened it in the forties they were showing exclusively silent films is a place where we're chapel and and and clear but we're going to see their own films if they you know when it was a wonderful place well though husband wife were opened it preserve silent films ironically he passed away from cancer from the fumes from the chemical city use reserve the cells and his wife had closed the place up and then the young students from across the street sort of befriended her by the name of Lawrence Austin and persuaded her to let him operate the theater so they re opened it with Mister Austin at the hell am Mister Austin had a boyfriend that illegitimately became the projectionist even in the sixties and he loved the place you would introduce the films he would ripped the tickets and sell the tickets in one day during the us all of us so much called sunrise search shortly after the phone began a young man came from the theater and ask the candy counter girl if they had advance tickets for sale she pointed them to Mister Austin at the box office to which you walked up and shot him in the face and kill them instantly took off running through the through the theater out the back way so the crime was installed for the longest time and they had you know fundraisers and go find means the it wasn't called go fund me back then but but tutus to bury Mr Austin to do tributes for Mister Austin and it was a big deal and and people from LA were outraged and disgusted because of this wonderful situations that they're this wonderful sort of landmark was now in questionable future and it turned out with the the boyfriend had hired this young man to kill his Mister Austin and the candy counter girl so he would inherit the the movie theater. it's a great story and and also Mister Austin it does still haunt that theater he is still most definitely hang around in that theater. come back and talk more about some paranormal experiences you've all tab will also talk about the curse of Benedict canyon and Scott I understand you've got a collection of strange artifacts let's have you explain those when we come back as well Mike Dorsey Scott Michaels our special guest will take some of your haunted questions next hour with both of them their website dearly departed pod dot com that's where you can listen to their podcast dearly departed pod dot com that we have linked up for you at coast to coast AM dot com so we'll be back in a moment those of you calling hang with us a little bit we're going to take calls at the top of the hour we'll be back.
