Two different types of heaters, a big jet heater and then the smaller heater and the sideline stuff. So we talked about the pregame. It's hard to stay at the ready, you know, when you're a part time player when you're playing on third downs, mostly a guy like, you know, I got like Nikhil Harry who didn't play a lot of snaps today. You got to be got to stay loose. I noticed the defensive guys are smarter than the offensive. Because during the timeout, the defensive guys wouldn't come on the field. They were standing by the heaters where the old line guys only 5 guys out there. There's only 5 out there and stand without their coats on them. They're like those emperor penguins. They just stand there. I remember I remember I remember one game we played it was real cold like that and I saw McMahon and dick, and they were just standing by the sideline with their coat on. And I didn't want to go out and stand out there in the huddle, be one of the 5 guys out there just freezing. So I just decided to keep my coat on. I was standing by McMahon to see what dick and McMahon talk about and they weren't talking. To stand in there and all of a sudden dick sees me and looks at me and he goes, what are you doing? He goes, he yelled at me and told me to get out in the field. He wouldn't let me stand there. Okay, so that brings up the question, how often and what did Mike Ditka and Jim McMahon ever talk about on the sideline? They weren't talking when I was at that one time I was on the sideline with them. They were just waiting for the commercials to be done. I always felt I will know that was Jim Harbaugh. I don't know, but you think about those times and how much did you hate it? I mean, hate it. The packers, you know, the fans. It's it's not cool to see that. You know all these people who are quarterbacks and all these position players who who are water stabers and defensive ends making millions of dollars in the nfl and you know what you can say. Okay well those. Are the main money grabs. Those are the main positions that make the most money in the nfl. The quarterback the offensive tackle specifically the left tackle who protect the quarterback blindside and the defense event. And maybe the linebacker. But you gotta look at it as there's three major positions in the nfl that get paid the most money. The quarterback left tackle. Who protect the quarterback blindside and the defensive end. Who gets after the quarterback because people either want a quarterback who came do great things and who can lead your team. They want a guy who has the ability to pack. Protect the quarterback's blindside and they also want a guy on defense who can get after the quarterback. Because obviously that's all it is. That's all football is to be honest but the people that are getting the least respect in the league are the tight ends and it's crazy to me because two tight ends do the most the tight ends do the most and greg olsen is exactly right i think they need to get more respect because honestly you're paying these guys less than average less than league salary you're paying these guys seven million a year just to do exactly what you pay guys fifteen to twenty to twenty five thirty million dollars. Honestly i mean. I don't know if you saw this but saints to sign a guy for. I think he was sixteen. Point five million there right tackle just nap and you're telling me that you can't play tight end. Who does that and also has to run route to perfection and have great hands. Joy agree with greg. Olsen i agree with greg olsen on why and how tight ends are the respected position in the game of football. They really all because titans have to do everything they have to do. Everything they have to be. Just as as alignment they have to have the hands just like a running back just like a wide receiver. And they have to have the footwork into speed to get by linebackers cornerbacks. It's crazy what you ask a tight end to do and it's not easy folks. It's not easy to do. What tied ends have to do in any sport in any division or in any type of football whether it's high school college nfl european. It's not easy what these guys have to do. And these guys are probably the face of the franchise. I'm talking about the guys. Who are the top tight ends in the league. I'm talking about travis kelsey. i'm talking about george kittle. i'm talking about darren. Waller i'm talking about mark andrews. I'm talking about kyle pits. These guys are physically gifted and they have all the tools necessary to be great tight ends in the league and if you look at the great tight ends throughout history look at the great ends like mike ditka look at the great titans like shannon sharpe. Look at the great tight ends like dwight clark who he was a wide receiver. But i consider him his tied-in look at tony gonzalez. These guys put their body on the line weekend day in day 'em practice in training camp in the games and they have to do everything on the side of the football to block the to catch that run routes after great feat that to be smart. We have to be intelligent. They have to be the leaders of the team and just crazy to me how they don't get paid as much as other people. They should get paid more. No way i'm going to play tight end in the nfl. For seven million dollars. that's crazy. When i see often tackles cleaned pay fifteen million dollars and i see why receivers can you pay north of twenty. That is crazy but speaking of one of the most disrespected positions in the nfl. Guises kind of being ostracized from their teammates. And being you know a much more stressful and strenuous way of life than their fellow players are going to be. Yes i it's it's it's a very Touchy topic for sure. And i mean. I don't know what else the nfl could do. I mean the restrictions came out About ten days ago or whenever it was that they reported it in. I mean players that aren't vaccinated are going to have to travel separate from the team to away games. They're staying in. The same hotel seems like a lot more rules and things like that. I know the colts are one of the teams that are among the lowest Currently in players percent vaccinated currently. I know we seen guys like darius leonard Be pretty vocal on twitter saying that. He wants to make his best decision for his family and not feel pressured in all that stuff. I mean i guess i. It's hard sometimes to take the sports effect out of it when the this is a Ball is the game. I mean this sunday we all love to watch. It's tough for me not to be like. Wow i wish. Brady's mentality than one errands doing. He makes it a lot easier. Oh no doubt. And i think they'd brady. They both have earned a certain level of cachet in this league right. They both have super bowls and obviously brady. Is the greatest quarterback ever play the game. Rogers one of the most gifted i quarterbacks to play the position of his era for sure. But i think that tom brady gets to a certain level even more so than aaron rodgers because he has the brand because he has all of the interest outside of football that roger might or might not have and. that's why. I think that these comments from brady. I think that we were talking about them. A because it's brady and be because comments like this from him or so few and far between right like whereas rogers there's kind of everything bubbling underneath the surface.
