"You play you play physical now come on. I did in my my base run-ins. I had rain itchy but it wasn't because i were trying to run over them. No question about that. it was because it was. It was the packers. When i was one of the barriers does a great rivalry and he didn't like me. I didn't particularly like him so we had a pretty good run. That's the beauty of sport right there. You gotta have a little bit a little bit hatred going on every now and then coach you did a lot of work for for guys like yourself retired players. Do you think the nfl has done enough for guys who played in your era to make sure those guys are okay and taking care of them enough. But i think they're trying to get better and Helping more and more and you know it comes down to them helping and and individuals. Also you know you'd have an opportunity to play sports. Play it saying some of the money. Don't set it off. Yeah i got one story the on the going out here. You can confirm or or not. And i think it's all in good fun at this point but i think you guys play the packers up in green bay and then i think you beat them and then after the game i think steve mcmichael and perhaps dan hampton both went out into the into the parking lot and we're hanging out with packers fans and maybe a beer or two after the game and then all of a sudden the bears team boss was getting ready to go back to soldier field and happened. Mcmichael were a little bit late. And i think you might have just told the bus driver to keep going and those guys had to drive their way home. Does that ring a bell to you coach at all. I think that happened. I do you celebrate the sadness. The work so i was ready to go. You hold up fifty some guy. Yeah i think it's just kind of fun. That bears mass. I wanna know that that Hey these guys were they were packers. Venture love the show. Love seventy six ninety nine for that. They were hanging out making friends work back. Yeah they did It was part of what made y'all. Hey let's let's wrap up with one can use. Give me any favorite moment with walter payton on the way out here every time anybody brings up thirty four. I think it brings a smile to the face of bear. fans just thinking about What many consider the greatest running back of all time. Well you hit it right on the button. He was the greatest running back with all the time. And thank you. Remember the first time i.

"Care i job. You're right way so you believe in justin fields well. I don't know enough about yesterday. i'll be honest with you i. I don't know enough about everybody off it will. He certainly had his moments at ohio state. Coach how would you feel if the bears actually moved and played in arlington heights. Well you know. As long as they move. I understand it would be an economic moolah. Been a move for the you know what's best for the club and i don't see any problem with that. I mean I think the bears are served their time in chicago. If done a great job of playing tells it would be okay with me. Okay did you enjoy wrigley or soldier field playing right more fun to play than to coach right right. Well i've never understood. Coach would guys. Do you know retire before they if you can still do it like people look at tom. Brady like why is he still going well. He's still winning super bowls. Where else could he have that much fun in his life. And lotta tom. Brady's gets himself in great shape and a lot of guys. Don't keep himself great. that's why they can't keep going. It's a lot of work. No doubt do you think is the greatest quarterback of all time coach such things. There is no such thing as the greatest of all time. And then so many. We weren't even around to watch and see how. Good a lot of those quarterbacks work day. I say what a guy named bill wait. I thought he was pretty damn good. He did what he had to do. We want a championship. I keep sixty three. So i thought he was pretty good and the guy that replaced him. Who took bookish. And i thought he was pretty good fake coach. Did you just care tom. Brady to rudy boo pitch. That could make some headlines. I like this i. I don't think you'll will be. Totally book is a good team around the south brady. And there's a good at coach is i'm there yet No i think no. I didn't mean it. That way christian i like to it looks at if it rudy had had ballot check. It is a rudy rudy. Sees this coach. He's gonna be. He's gonna be stunned. This is going to be a big day for rudy is. Okay my book guy rudy pitch. I love it. Hey coach give let me go back to playing for one second. And i appreciate the time. Mike ditka straight legend working with crack rump today and And then making a donation to the us bg to kick off the season of summer since we appreciate the time i'm wandering who was one guy. Perhaps on the defensive side of the ball when you were playing coach that you really wanted.

"That's like we used to have in school. The temporary classrooms. You know away from your teammates. Were walking out without masks. Were in the cafeteria roaming around freely. That's gonna get old pretty quick right when you have to quarantine in the hotel when you can't go out on the road to me that's the best incentive for a player to do the right thing in going get vaccinated. I mean i hear what cole beasley says. he will. Sweat says when the team brings in vaccination efforts to give you the facts and then you receive those facts. Who don't want to get the vaccine that tells me that no matter what anybody says no matter what. Statistics whatever data whatever facts are presented. You've made up your mind and that's fine but don't tell me you need more information. What i think more so than the information is going to persuade. Guises kind of being ostracized from their teammates. And being you know a much more stressful and strenuous way of life than their fellow players are going to be. Yes i it's it's it's a very Touchy topic for sure. And i mean. I don't know what else the nfl could do. I mean the restrictions came out About ten days ago or whenever it was that they reported it in. I mean players that aren't vaccinated are going to have to travel separate from the team to away games. They're staying in. The same hotel seems like a lot more rules and things like that. I know the colts are one of the teams that are among the lowest Currently in players percent vaccinated currently. I know we seen guys like darius leonard Be pretty vocal on twitter saying that. He wants to make his best decision for his family and not feel pressured in all that stuff. I mean i guess i. It's hard sometimes to take the sports effect out of it when the this is a Ball is the game. I mean this sunday we all love to watch. It's tough for me not to be like. Wow i wish. The colts had a higher percentage. Just because of the limitations is going to have on the colts roster limitations is going to have on travel for the colts this next year but i also want whatever. Those guys decide is best for them. Even if selfishly. I want them to make the right call for the team. Yeah i mean. Maybe i'm too over the top on this but i just think this needs to be called out. Look these are what the doctors are saying. It's not just for your football team. Its first society period. Go get the damn vaccine i. I'm with him. I just like and what are you talking about. You need more information. All the information is out there. And you're lying to your point man. You don't need more information..

"Like your jumpers trash or whatever stuff like it all matters at i. Guess what. I'm hearing about separation like. Hey we all know great football but look step. i'm gonna step on this court. And i'm gonna bury it. I mean how's that jay we're working on it okay. Okay so maybe. That's that's perhaps why we're not quite separation factor yet but all right but you could shoot it. You're you're better in the post would you say Yeah definitely better than the post but Like passing the ball distributor. You know quinn gray. Dec- you man congrats on all your success. Three time pro bowler ton more common. Let's just wrap up since the one thing you brought up have you you in carson bonded at all yet any any conversation between the two of you just been on the field. Yeah i mean definitely a like. The conversations between the two of us are private. But i mean i think i mentioned this before in the interview. just how genuinely cares about each of his teammates. An like takes time to like ask you a question about this or that going on life And stuff like that so he. He's a great team and he's also taken off offensive line out to dinner which he paid for which is very appreciative. Appreciate bias so Looking forward to some more those are the ones on him The next dinners. I i think we need to earn so go. Big little flavor will surf and turf little Absolutely you got this is part of the deal. We gotta be well fed to do our jobs. I love it all right. Great to see you. Best of luck at twenty twenty one and looking forward to your work with the the nfc and the v. foundation it's I i mean everybody has been impacted unfortunately some way somehow by cancer and I love watching jimmy speech man. It never ever gets told that just and you feel it every time right sir. Thanks mark appreciate it quipped nelson. That was a lot of fun very professional. Yeah let's bring our indianapolis colts podcast or destined. Adams is with us from the blue stable. He does the podcast with reshad. Mcguinness and michael rosas. We get destined today. You got to love yourself some quinn nelson right destin. Thanks for taking time by the way. Oh no problem anytime. You guys need any colts takes. I'm here to bring him. And i feel like everyone has to love quentin nelson. I mean if you're a person out there that doesn't like quinton nelson. I feel like you just don't like football I just feel like he has that mentality as that nastiness that you want. i mean. He's an offensive lineman so people might think that's boring but if you watch quitting nelson quitting nelson. There's nothing boring about that man. The dude sprints down the field after his running backs and picks them up after. They get tackled when he's done doing his original job. I mean if you don't love your you're not a football fan right met lombardo. I watched when nelson. I think he's mean he's a he's a guy that you can anchor offensive line with and i said this you know previously prior to the interview. I think it's a chance to go down as one of the greatest guards to play the game and wind up in the hall of fame. One day so you know if carson wentz can ever take the step and become the quarterback the eagles thought they were drafting number two overall. It's behind an offensive line. Sankar by clinton nelson. That's for sure so let's get our carson wentz thoughts out there and look in every bit of news coming out of indy is that carson is getting along great him and frank reich..

"I should get whatever i want. And i don't have an owner so it makes sense right there. You go right the you know. you're just one of the packers fan. Just one of the packers players that owns the team. I actually am on the if you know all. Nfl players are not created equal. If you are aaron rodgers you do get more say and if someone has a problem with that while then too bad. He's aaron rodgers. Same thing with brady. Even when he's in the bucks no certainly doesn't have the history there that he had new england. Obviously but if you're an owner or if your head coach you certainly would rather have. Brady's mentality than one errands doing. He makes it a lot easier. Oh no doubt. And i think they'd brady. They both have earned a certain level of cachet in this league right. They both have super bowls and obviously brady. Is the greatest quarterback ever play the game. Rogers one of the most gifted i quarterbacks to play the position of his era for sure. But i think that tom brady gets to a certain level even more so than aaron rodgers because he has the brand because he has all of the interest outside of football that roger might or might not have and. that's why. I think that these comments from brady. I think that we were talking about them. A because it's brady and be because comments like this from him or so few and far between right like whereas rogers there's kind of everything bubbling underneath the surface. But he'll come out and he'll say something to get you talking. Brady doesn't always do that. Yeah let's wrap up before we get to quit nelson with this. 'cause verte ramat. I've talked about this a lot. The vacationing mad verda ram. He's advert aram cottage or whatever he does on his time off. He's definitely around the lake somewhere. But so i. I think that aaron rodgers is going nowhere. I think i think you'll be plan for the packers on week one. Do you have a similar taker. You often anything's possible. And what would you say well kind of vacillates from me back and forth between being in in your corner that this is all going to work out sometime around. Like august thirtieth. He's gonna show up. He's gonna show up for week. One throw three touchdowns against the saints and off they go but the more people you talked to around the packers good and custos dug in here. You know my sources. Tell me that he's trying to use this to show backbone to show. He's not going to bend to aaron rodgers and he thinks he's right on jordan love. He thinks that jordan love can be a franchise quarterback and he's obviously betting his entire career. If rodgers goes elsewhere doesn't play that love is the guy if it works out. Great if it doesn't have all kinds of ag in your face and you're not going to be an nfl gm ever again. But i think there's probably at least a twenty to twenty five percent chance karm that rogers doesn't play it all this year that it's either green bay or it's nowhere and they'll deal with this after the season with some sort of trade while you actually think he'd sit out. I just feel like you know. Aaron rodgers mentality when he talked to people and i wrote about this a couple of weeks in the wednesday column..

"Vacation tried to actually turn offs the nfl brain for a couple days. Right ease into the week down the shore. I gotta think about and ask around. Talk to people about well. Who was brady talking about whereas this guy lands in. Nfl heaven outside of kansas city. Which were you got the barbecue. And andy reid and all that. You're not going there. Because of patrick mahomes land with aryan you range with a great supporting cast win the super bowl come on border. You're what you don't get to that point in life though unless you're ultracompetitive and he still wears the one ninety nine t shirt underneath his uniform before every game like i mean. Well i get it. You're competitive. You were snubbed. Coming out of the draft. But you're married to giselle yet. You have more money than god. The tv tb twelve brand is even more successful. Now that you can promoted in tampa bay with everybody living down there versus up in new england. You've proven you can win without ballot. Check right. You've proven that come on. Well okay hold it. Hold on a couple of things here number one. I loved anywhere one ninety nine. That's awesome number two. you're right. He has all the money. He's got all the rings he's got giselle. He's everything's going. Tom brady's way. But don't you want the more honest over the top brady like i feel like maybe it's because he's away from new england and and getting some freedom for belgium. Okay here's the real me buddy. And by a lot of people think that he's talking about jimmy garoppolo that the niners were sniffing around. And i'm kind of i'm pulled in both ways here. Because would he say that about a guy that he played with and seemingly had a decent relationship with but maybe under the service he always thought that he was better than them at bothered him. The bell jack was trying to replace them with the dude. I don't know how great that relationship was. I mean you talk to people in new england and you know it's no secret. I think it's been out there for multiple reporters over the years that the reason garoppolo was traded was because he couldn't co exist with tom. Brady right. and that you know belichick trade garoppolo to appease and placate. Tom brady so it could very well be jimmy. Garoppolo the guy that he's talking about right and that's a roster much like in tennessee. Where if he had gone there much like tampa bay is probably in the mix to go to win a super bowl. If tom brady plays at the level that he did last year. So if it is garoppolo. Let's just let's just say that spot. It's garoppolo he the niners were sniffing around. He you know bad to break up the relationship all of it. That shows a pretty bitter. Tom brady a little bit right. You got everything you wanted. Oh for sure and you know you brought up the point about the more authentic and out there. Tom brady now that he's away from ballot. Check new england. I'll tell you this arm. It's a real thing. I mean i. I've spoken to agents in the last couple of weeks about this..

"That was amazing. I kind of have to for you. One of course is when they do win. The super bowl eighty five. And you have the two guys getting carried off the field. It's might dick and it's buddy ryan and that image kind of encapsulates at least from an outsider grew up in philadelphia big. Nfl fan through the years. But that image. As i was growing up kind of encapsulated the relationship it seemed like between ditka and buddy ryan and his defense and then body of course brought that same attitude to philadelphia whereas it was his team against management for the entire time. He was there that was a moment for me. And then of course you know i just got you know you know. Rub some salt in the wound. A little bit here. Trading your whole draft ricky williams. I think that worked out real well for the saints. He got another opportunity in new orleans and he perhaps given too many keys to the car. If you will the concept that he was going to build a roster was a little crazy. I i when he left chicago by the way on a five and eleven team and they brought in day one stat. Great man by the way they want it was borderline funeral and it also felt like it was time but it didn't get any better for the bear since it because i mean listen. They've they're still talking about the eighty-five super bowl And then he's been out there with his political thoughts You know a bunch in the last couple of years which has certainly got him into a land of that might ticket. Didn't need to be in. But whatever it's his life but he still. I mean you're talking about one of the great tight ends in the history of the sport. I mean on the field. He was a complete and utter. For lack of a better way of putting it s kicker i mean he was nuts nuts as a coach and there there was like speaking of the things that happened back then though it never happened now he was doing a press conference in like the tunnel against the bengals and there were media's there and then somehow a fan is just screaming at them on the back relate how that fan got there and he's Do you ever see that clip..

Lombardo let me just give you a little history here. Yours truly born in nineteen seventy-three beautiful highland park illinois suburb of chicago. My first ever bears game was the opener of the nineteen eighty five super bowl season. We sat in the family section. No alcohol allowed. The bears beat the tampa bay bucks. This is off the top of my head by the way thirty. Eight twenty eight. I'm ninety nine percent. Certain that is correct. And jim mcmahon was the quarterback. Walter payton was the running back. The greatest defense of all time was out there and mike ditka was the head coach. Did get back in those days so long winded but he did like you woke up on a sunday. At eleven o'clock it was the mike ditka. Show hosted by johnny morris who was a former bears receiver and a sportscaster in town. It was at least for young car. Must see television. The mike ditka show live studio audience. I mean the fans and that's all it was an then it was the nfl. Today with jimmy. The greek career gone sideways. Irv cross brent. Musburger that was. I don't remember the early days of the nfl today. But i mean it was so excited you are looking live and then at noon. You know why did that. By the way right by brent musburger started the. You're looking live no good. He did because it was always a silent nod or not so silent nod to all of his gambling friends out there. So they knew before kick-off you're looking live at soldier field if it's snowing if it's raining to know which side with the over undertake what was going to happen with the you know. Perhaps if the bears have a trend where they don't do well in cold weather that year they would know which side the be on and what was really cool is back at the beginning of my career..

"You know, of all the things have happened to this point. I think the thing that interests me, the most is just that, you know, the Cleveland Browns have been resuscitated reborn before our very eyes. I mean, let's go back to the last Sunday of the football season where you know, in a game where they weren't really playing for anything, you know, in the ravens they came very very close to knock in the ravens out. And then they followed it in the off season by making at least from what it appears they appear to have made all the right moves. And you don't often see the Cleveland Browns do this in any of our lifetimes. So I think the Browns and then going out and being last week. I said it. With the the guys who make the NFL schedule in New York. And listen to how you know. I I mean how crazy does this out? Listen to how ESPN right from the start wanted to Monday. The the Cleveland Browns with were their team. They wanted to Cleveland Browns games on their schedules. NBC wanted a game a home game early in the season to capitalize on the Cleveland. Browns fever, so. They get weeks three at home Sunday night. Against the NFC champion. Rams just and and just listening to all these not only the networks, but all these people just sort of frothed over the Browns and over Odell and all that other stuff. I think their stories going to be a great one and to predict what the biggest story of day one of the draft. Do you anticipate it to be Cuyler Murray being selected number one overall by the cardinals? You know, I guess so, but I think most people, and again, it might not have it. I don't I don't have any insight information that say says it's going to happen. I mean, I think I I feel confident that he will be. But you know, I I I have no I can't sell insurance on anything like that. So I I all I can say is that it looks like Marie is gonna go number one. But beyond that, I really think what the raiders do is going to be huge story when you got four picks in the top forty and the coach has staked his reputation basically that we got our quarterback. We're going to get rid of everybody else of great value. And then we are going to make our bones on drafting the next great Kadre of Oakland Raiders. I I mean, there's a lot at stake for the Oakland Raiders. This weekend. And I think my gut feeling is the raiders will be the story. But you know, somebody's gonna come out of nowhere. I predicted a might mock draft today. That somebody's gonna come back up. I predicted Denver not to come up and get a quarterback low in the first round. I think basically you're going to have several teams very low in the first round that I know the Rams are they're going to try to capitalize on any player or players who are still left low in the first revenue teams ought to get a fifth year for contractually. And let's say one of the quarterback Steve Jones drew markets there. Let's just say I think somebody's gonna come up and get them. Let's let's just say for the sake of argument, it's dense. How incredible with that be that, you know, you you basically trade for flacco you tell him that with a little bit of an asterisk he's guy going forward for at least a couple of years. And then if you drafted a young quarterback, and I'm not saying they will. But that would be a really really interesting story. Nothing like, Mike Ditka. Giving up his entire draft for Ricky Williams back in the day. Right. None of that would happen. I'll tell you that. I sorta live that my column last last week. And and I I found a bunch of people involved with it and the most the thing that really sticks out about. Mike ditka. Doing that is how very very how very difficult it was. And, you know, those who who don't really remember, you know, it's been twenty years since Mike Ditka was the head coach of the New Orleans Saints and he loved Ricky Williams so much. Williams rushed for I don't know. Twenty three hundred yards of senior, Texas and everybody was talking about eventually the draft and did cassette. I wanted them and at the league meetings. He said, I will trade my entire draft. And so the league meetings. You know, Charley Casserly GM that time of Washington told Billy Herrick GM of the saints put us in line for that one. We'll do it. And so anyway, it ended up happening and Ricky Williams comes in. He's he's very very shy and Ricky Williams comes into New Orleans, and there's like six thousand people at the saints complex having a draft party, and he gets walked through there. And then he goes into the lobby of the saints building in Mike Ditka's, they're wearing a week of dreadlocks and a Hawaiian shrimp greeting Ricky Williams, you know, it's like he's trying to be Bob mar. Early. You know, greeting Ricky Williams and saying your home, and it was just, you know. And of course, they had also year. Dick got fired and Ricky Williams was sort of wishing never with me the filter. You know, but it was just that was that's that's really got to be one of the best best draft stories in my lifetime. Awesome. All right. He'll up. It. Sounds like you've been hurt. I've been finding this all winter too. I don't know about you. But have a great draft. Peter. Thank you all the best guys. Thanks a lot. Peter King NBC great stuff as always check it out. When you think about the top stories in the draft. Obviously Cuyler Murray is going to be on the front of everyone's brain. I mean thinking about average is writing this down cliff Kingsbury as you talked about earlier in the show was fired as the head coach of Texas Tech. I believe he was hired as you offense coordinator for about a day and a half of USC, right? I want to let him out of his contract interview. Then he gets a head coaching job. And then the story becomes that a kid that played one year because he was following in the footsteps. Of the previous year's Heisman Trophy winner. Who was supposed to play baseball. By the way, he was supposed to play baseball. Not even be interested in plain National Football League fast forward. Six seven eight months. It's an incredible story altogether in that they traded up for Josh Rosen. Just the year before the same general manager, by the way who still there. It's not like the old guy who've coup draft rose. It's time. Right. You've kind. So I mean when you think about it going into the draft on Thursday night. That's a pretty crazy story where the first pick will be made with a head coach got fired from Texas Tech and the more than likely to draft a kid that wasn't expected to play in the NFL because he had this promising major league baseball career, and this huge signing bonus that he got on Ovalles the way as you mentioned last year. They drafted Josh Rosen. I mean, it's fun watching this. Yeah. I know we would love the bears to have a first round pick. But it's nice to sort of watch out for the bears. No, I would not put anything past Ryan pace marching Greco will join and let's you he agrees with wattle says pay sustained Pat at eighty seven we've got a sandwich. I say he's moving up even if it's five spots ten spots. But he's moving. He's not waiting Dell. Eighty seven we'll see who Marquis auguries. Well, we'll be at twin peaks on Thursday to talk about it more right point peaks is the ultimate sports lodge. You've been searching for the wall to wall. Tvs allow.

"Payments if they want to beauty of it. I mean, if you wanna make payments, you can't I mean, most people don't, but they like to have that option. And that's you know, when I have a lot of people that have existing mortgage is still I'd say look at the reverse has an alternative because if you want to pay you can if you don't you know, and you could choose when you pay or not pay because Dr no payments required. So yes, you can pay if you would like the terms similar like we have see fifteen year mortgage thirty year mortgage or or the terms pretty similar in mortgage. Well, now, the great part. Is is that you can choose the payment. So again fencers no payment requires you can choose how much you pay and when you pay. So in other words, if you have some money to pay at some point you want to pay down on it. You can buy let's say six months later, you don't you don't have to because it's not required. So it gives you that flexibility because we all know on your regular mortgage, you'd better pay it each month, or they're gonna come get you. So you've taken out of the reverse mortgage the question, then is can you still sell your home if you had done, so yes, I mean, the reverse mortgages lean on your house, just like any other loan? So if you want to sell the future you handle it the same way you listed with an agent get it sold at the time. The settlement to go ahead and pay off the existing reverse mortgage, you keep the rest. That's again. One of the biggest misconceptions is people think they're stuck in the house forever. They can't sell it. You have all the same rights, except he had a mortgage that you don't have to make a payment on putting money back in your pocket. What are some of the typical reasons Mark? You know for taking out a reverse mortgage to begin with a lot of my clients use it to pay off existing mortgages, that's probably one of the biggest things existing mortgages and other dads. But you know, we don't have a lot of clients that come to us to have a lot of money, and you know, are doing well. A lot of them. Are you know, by the time you're done paying off there bills? They don't have a whole lot left. And you know, what they're using it for is like you said to get rid of that mortgage figure if you're paying a twelve hundred dollar mortgage payment, and you use a reverse mortgage to get rid of that you just play twelve hundred dollars back in your pocket each month. So that's a big thing and getting rid of the other day because what a lot of my clients say is once I can get rid of these other debts. I can't live anywhere cheaper, and my monthly checkers LA farther at that point. Of course, you know, there are a lot of people out there who just don't have enough to. Live out their years. They do. And and the sad part is is I have a lot of people that you know. The answer to the reverse mortgage are afraid to call cause they're worried I guess that you know, once they call we're going to be all over. I'm and that's not the case. And I hear it all the time. And gosh, I wish I would call it earlier. And they think about it so long, you know, what we try to encourage everybody to do is give us a call get the facts, see if it's right for you. And and go from there, and one of the things I really wanna say quickly that if they hear our interviews are commercials. And you guys have been great about this that people, you know, if you can't get the number one, we give it to you. You can always call into the station. I'll give it to you. Always you guys always great job doing that. Yeah. Speaking of that number. What is it? "You would think the Derek Carr has thick skin given that he has to deal with Jon Gruden every day of his professional life. But maybe that has caused Carter look for other places where he can let off some steam on Twitter last night. He was responding to a fan that pointed out that the folks on first take max Kellerman, and Stephen a Smith had been criticizing Derek Carr, personally said car, it's because I block them both for talking trash about our team. Those two clowns don't know anything about this game. What love to actually sit and breakdown film with these two on TV just to show their viewers incompetent parentheses lacking qualification? They are about the game. Now, as I mentioned last hour on radio the fact that you have to explain what incompetent means is kind of funny like supplying the definition for a fairly obvious word. We all know, what incompetent means we're confident enough to understand. But thank you for defining the term, Derek then later, Derek had no idea. Chris simms. Yeah. He wants to propose a business idea to Dana white the president of UFC. Hey, how do I challenge? A couple of these clowns on TV to a fight. I think we should start a business together. Dana where pro athletes can challenge some of these people to an octagon fight until they give us an answer. You don't know me stop lying. So basically what Derek Carr wants to do is beat up Stephen a Smith and max Kellerman, and while I would potentially support the notion of Stephen a Smith being beaten up the idea of a quarterback being so thin skinned that he would resort to school yard violence. And that's how we got into the whole bullied versus the bullies and getting stuffed into a locker and et cetera. Why why as Jon Gruden caused Derek Carr to crack and only one year? Chris I I mean, you know, I don't know what to say to that. I I mean, the first thing I want to say is really what why are you sitting there listening to every word that two guys on TV have to say about your career anyways? I mean, just as a professional athlete, and you know, you've come off a underwhelming season. With the Oakland Raiders. I mean, did you expect to go on TV? And they'd be like man this Derek Carr. He's amazing. The raiders are really great. And they tore up the NFL this year. So you can't get emotional as a quarterback. And you can't read every headline in the world. Let alone show the fact that you were emotionally bothered and thin skinned about you two guys. Who were you were admitting and saying they're incompetent and lack the qualification? But yet you're worried about the words that are coming out of their mouth. That's where I just go come on. Yes. And it's not a good look for your football team as a leader of the team, and again, yes, you have to deal with. Jon Gruden in life was going to get a lot harder with dealing with his criticism on a daily basis as we go forward. Let alone dealing with two guys on TV. Max Kellerman, Stephen a Smith. So. Yeah. As an ex quarterback, I understand. Hey, there's times where I heard quotes about even my father or me personally when I was playing, and I wanted to be Agnete, and that's messed up, but at the same time, you just gotta brush it off and basically just move on with your life because it really has no effect on anything you do at the end of the day. You're going to be judged by what you do on the football field, and you need to put all your energy there. And I think if you look at all the great ones, that's what they do. Right. Tom brady. He doesn't get into these type of conversations with people. You know, you don't see many great quarterbacks do that because they're focused on the task at hand and not worrying about you know, little spat arguments. All there may be some tapes out there from some appearances I used to make on W DA Tampa talking about young Christopher David SIMS that would have gotten very riled up. If you had actually been listening. Sure. I'm sure yeah. But I it's part of it. And I think I've told the story one time before where I woke up early morning before the we're we're gonna play the Washington Redskins one year, and I turn on one of the game shows, and and Mike Ditka. Talking about hi, I'm the most the guy in the NFL under the most pressure that day, and I haven't played well the last two weeks, and I was like damn I didn't play that bad the last two weeks. I mean, we lost. But you know, again, you just have to go. Okay. Great big deal. It doesn't really matter. I gotta worry about you know, blitz. Coverages all these other things you don't have time to worry about arguing with the media. In all fairness to you wouldn't have challenged. Mike Ditka to a fight because he would have kicked your ass garden. Right. Nobody's. You got to pick your battles. Very carefully. If you're gonna take the media, don't you think he's opening himself up for more criticism? What this right? Yes. Yeah. I mean, you're sensitive. You're going to get more people to come after you exactly that's where I just, you know, he's really opening up a can of worms here where this is going to be a cumbersome become a conversation with the Oakland fan base or anybody in the bay area. And they're going to wonder does he have the thick enough skin to details us to the promised land one day. How do you think Jon Gruden reaction is what what would his advice be and give it to me in your Gruden voice? I mean, he'd probably like, you know, looked at it like this like I mean. I mean, why who cares about the guys? Who cares who cares about them? I mean, what are you doing there? Why are you fighting those battles? I mean, let let's worry about what we gotta do. You know, that's the kind of thing. John's going to say he's just gonna go. You're wasting your time move on from it. And you know, John likes a quarterback with a little fire. There's no doubt about that. But I don't think he's looking for this type of fire. He's looking for the type of fire where you, you know? The guys in the locker room U M F guys in the huddle when you need be. And you know, you be quiet and work and lead, by example, when it's the other times, Stephen a Smith is responded. I heard you had a few things to say consider this a personal invitation. You are more than welcome to come on. I take to sit down with me for a one on one. I'm here, bro. Nobody hiding it. And that's the thing. It's good for. I take to have one of the people that they've been criticizing engage them. It props them up all the more reason to not call them out into not resort to these tactics. But I agree with you. This is a bad look for Derek Carr. It's going to get more people to criticize him and he deserves the criticism the raiders stunk this.

Maybe updated MAC. Minis an ipad minis, I don't know about. I had many. That's so weird. Anyway, I just wanted to do a little little apple vent. The only pipe pro. Within each of these something different. They need to it needs to be more than what it is. I think it's like slutty confused as to what is the moment, and by Finn software, and hardware. They've does gesture changes in Iowa, and they keep doing them get little confusing if he's an iphone as well. So I wanna see if they can like make that little bit neater with deaf you on the southwest side by also I think everyone just wants them to do acephalous one in Iowa. Has basically everyone wants. I think I didn't quite ready to do that probably. But I definitely light to see them improve the keyboard. And just just the ability to have to touch display have some soul Poitou integration with touching display and beim too. Many play and they'll be you can now we'll just have an attack pet. I I don't dunno. like that just needs to be something there because I think it's just not quite where it needs to be right now be like the things I want to say do those Moshel fill at quicken.
