"We we've touched on the bill brothers briefly before in the archives. But tell us a little bit about The bell brothers. Well my mad dog mike bill. I think they're i think they're also from boston massachusetts as well but they mike was a enhancement talent for the wwf for many many years and he also worked some forty c. W but i think you would kinda classify him as a journeyman wrestler and he is. His brother smelly had moved out at california to do bodybuilding but also to try and get into the movies so mike went out there. Mike was trying to do stunt work and mike was trying to do some movie stuff and they were just really close. Knit family in really couldn't ask for to better guys. That truly loved the business. Mike wanted so badly to be successful in the business. We tried a few different times with him. But it just. Vince couldn't get over the the stigma of being that enhancement guy. Unfortunately mike passed away at thirty seven years. Old in a rehab facility He died of a heart attack that was brought on from huffing dust off. The thing is to clean your keyboard that happened in december of await. His brother though as he mentioned. Chris bell is the guy who put together bigger faster stronger and prescription thugs. Bigger faster stronger was pretty controversial at the tom in the wrestling business It came out in two thousand eight and then prescription thugs. I think a couple of years ago all about opioid addiction and so forth at both of those. If you're even a casual wrestling fan are interesting because of what. We've heard over the years about the abuse of steroids and prescription drugs in professional wrestling. So shout out to him for that Let's talk about rick bassman. You have any phone or interesting. Rick bassman stories. You know this seems like a kind of a you know an old school way of doing things you know back in the day and i guess still exists but back in the day you know you didn't have the internet so you had scouts who would kind of go around and look for the next big thing in baseball and these baseball scouts would stumble across these funds and then it would become you know this great story and rick bassman. Kinda seems like a throwback to that And when you run through the list of guys he's putting the business you know specifically the ms staying ultimate warrior. John cena. I mean those are pretty pretty big damn names. Well you look at bathroom battles place in the right place in southern california there so you had people who wanted to be movie. Stars wanted to be television stars looking to break in. And you have big guys that are looking for shots and bassman positioned himself as an agent that could get them acting gigs on the side whether it be commercials or bit parts and movies and position himself as a representative of big unique looking guys to the movie studios so some of these unique characters would come in and if they needed Big wrestler type. A for a television commercial they usually call rick bassman and he would pick from his cast of characters that he had their training. Up w send him down and get him acting gigs. so rick helped them while they were training getting them. Good hollywood gigs. And if rick saw something in them ric would usually try and sign them up to a contract where they got a deal with another company that he would get paid. A percentage off of that after the fact that caused a lot of controversy Later on in our relationship trade pros whether you specialize in service or new. Construction ferguson knows firsthand..

"Jonathan Ferrell, Lisa Brown, Winston Tom Keen. It is a simulcast on this Friday, set for the weekend with interesting markets as well. Futures up well, features up 18. Fixed 20.37 some good news there. And then all of the data and this odd odd week with we've seen Johnny inflation debate. It just struggles forward. I thought it was a clumsy debate this week. You say it again and 9 45 eastern time when we get the pan eyes in America, and we're focused on the output. Focus on prices paid us well, but a top line the headline number seven, the sixties. That's terrific, and it's set to continue Tom. There's a lot of demand in this economy and the jet advance supply mismatches being the story that continues to be the story with inflation. The epicenter of that debate that the side of the debate is David Wilson just talked about with S and P ratio and all that. I really didn't understand what he's talking about. You translated afterwards. But John, you know when I would go to John, I think it's so important is Greg Diego opening up surveillance this morning in making very clear Oxford's optimistic view those air numbers that are not in the market right now, will they support up? A good question is what happens with savings right on it. Do you think that's important later this year? It's very, very elevated about the money has been accumulated. For the last 12 months, money that could have been spent the war's not spend that will be spent the degree to which it will be spent. And how much will be the next few months. I think it's important for what these numbers look like. I do agree It's the heart of the matter all the cash. It's out there in different guises. But Lisa the idea that I may not get the will consume it and all that. But to me the idea that altar conservative money is somehow going to move into Apple shares. I just can't get there. Well, there's a question of the disposable income that people actually have versus what's considered wealth That was sort of a great Deko is talking about to your point. About Dave Walt Wilson's chart. I think there is an important point here that frankly to me was one of the biggest takeaways of the week, which is pricing power, which companies have the ability to raise prices pass along the increased input costs to their consumers and which don't and are seeing deeper, negative real yields as they pay higher prices. And to me that seems like an increasing distinction within markets. Tommy John, where were long in London? Is shovels Hell in May, John, would you explain the weather in London? The weather has been absolutely abysmal. Atlanta Just as the U case reopening more rain, I think of the next week as well have been exchanging a photo of the weather app. My apple iPhone with my family, Tom, just taking a snapshot of what? The week ahead. Looks like in New York, and it looks like in London. And it's not pretty. Yeah. Mike Bill coming up here with the bankers, Hellstorm. We'll talk about that in a moment. Channels walked through the data here right now, before we get in a good conversation, John. I'm gonna look at a sustained equity left not a big percentage move, but off of the melt up two days ago, and then the good action yesterday it continues this morning futures. 18 full sense of 1% on the S and P and taking a small by out of the weekly lost so far in the S and P 500 more broadly in the bond market. Look at yours not doing much this morning at 1 60 to 33, basically where they started. The wake and I will say also the average since the start of April is basically where we are two on the US 10 Year. 1 62. It's what's happening beneath the surface of the nominal you You need to pay attention to Tom. Rodeo is coming in this week coming in. I don't know. I was still negative about 80 basis points, but it's worth a look. Yeah, all right now let's bring in Mike Bell in London with JP Morgan Asset Management. And of course, the Hellstorm is he's one of the media there said it was a bonkers hellstorm Mike Bell. Give us the hell storm the uncertainty if you will. Of emerging markets. They have not been something we focused on they have been removed is emerging markets is a broad sense an opportunity forward or not. I think it's probably actually the biggest of the change over the next decade that we see when we think the China, for example, is gonna grow at about 4.5% on a man realized over the next decade, which means it'll, its economy is gonna be about 50% larger in 10 years time when it is two days and put into some perspective. Talking about Bull Parker $7 trillion increase in annual consumption by 2030, which is larger than the UK and Germany. Economies combined on Denny what India is going to grow faster, but from a slower a lower base. You think I'll grow out nearly 7% a year over the next decade, which means the economy should roughly double in that period. Obviously there's a lot of difficulty going on in India with covert at the moment, but we think that by the end of the year they will have fascinated around 60% of the population with bullet. John. This is like a foreign conversation to us. We've been so focused on transatlantic and the pandemic and all that. We forgot to reset on Asia Economic growth Rebecca Patterson of Ritual to mention that bit earlier. Mike, the Uncorrelated asset of the F for some people has been the Chinese bond market. Is that something you're looking at two. We think that's attractive. Obviously, there's a limit to how much people outside of Asia realistically gonna put into Chinese bonds. But never the letter. Do you think that when you look around the world is one of the few development for one of the few have bond markets that really Offers an attractive yield of the moment, so it's certainly something that could be used for diversification. Absolute Mike. There's there's China and there's India. And then there's everyone else in the emerging markets. And I do wonder about some of these studies that are coming out of the World Bank and other organizations talking about the great divergence, the fact that the recessions have been brutal and are affecting the middle classes in a lot of these nations way more than, for example, the U. S. Eurozone and China. How do you parse out this distinction within the emerging markets between the haves and the have nots and maybe have not for an even longer time post pandemic. I think that's important. I mean, our preference of the moment is for Asia. Because thing about M S C I e. M China India career in Taiwan about 75% of the index, so we're pretty favorable on the outlook for those four countries, but in some of the other parts of the emerging world where as you say it's going to take him longer to get the vaccine. Fully rolled out. We've got higher concerned. You're my boy. Look at this. I was talking to Brad from Brisbane this morning. Well, somebody wanted to show every day it might belt to me. It's a lot of micro stories, and it could be on the vaccine and the seriousness nature of it. The distribution of the vaccine and Indonesia what the World Bank's going to do what the I m F is going to do and all that. And then there's on the complete other end of it. People saying we're going to deploy JP Morgan is going to deploy the Hong Kong if you want to give us news on that were taken notes. But I look it like Air Mez opening in Brisbane, Australia, or re imagining it, whatever that means. I mean, that's a huge deal. All these micro stories from Australia on up to Japan. Ultimately, I think my business is it going to take the long term be on the long term story is the rising incomes in Asia. He's going to be the key source of growth over the next 10 20 years. S so I think that's why you're seeing lots of businesses pivoting towards Asian. I don't know that's going away any time seeing my quest, the European trade fit into all of this. A lot of people getting long Europe. Recently on the idea that data improves but the price actions been there. It's been positive in European equities. Oh, yeah. I mean Europe's benefiting obviously from the family. You getting.

"It's time for another installment of on it. Store live here on scuba shack radio. And this time we're going back to season one episode two titled flooded mine flooded mine the premiered on january eleventh nineteen fifty eight. The show opens up with mike scuba diving. And there's a woman who is free diving with them. They're searching for a guitarfish from marineland of the pacific and that's when they encounter a c line who might calls a natural clown. And it says three twenty and he tells bill that he has forty minutes of air. Bill asks mike. What can you do if he doesn't make it back in time to which mike replies. Nothing bill tells mike. He's got a dangerous job now. Under the murky water. Mike is feeling his way along slowly carefully when he hears some noises. He doesn't know exactly what what they are but he sees a light at the surface and when he surfaces up he discovers to miners trapped in an air pocket barely breathing. Mike shoves the regulator in their mouth and smacks them starts yelling at them to breathe now the dilemma. How to get them out. There's no time to go back for another long. He can only take one out but who they draw. Rocks smallest rock stays the guy. Mike is taking out. Can't swim and he needs wait. So they load his pants with rocks mic shows. Them how to buddy breathe gives him as masks and off they go but not for long. The minor panics. Takes mike's knife and starts to fight with them. Mike drops might drops his light and gets to panic. Diver back to the air pocket. Mike goes back down to get his late and then he comes up and tells the minor to get some rocks. He's taken him out. This time keeps his mask and things go smoothly. We then see bill looking at his watch. It's four pm. Whereas mike suddenly bill sees the light. And mike comes up with the minor. It's been workman. Mike needs to go back but he doesn't have enough air and there's not enough time to go out in the mind for another tank. What can they do. Just an mike spots a welding torch where there's a torch there's oxygen tank has the same valve as regulator. What luck but mike need some tools to complete the rig now. "And when they finally announced that we it was too good to be true. From the day he walked in to San Francisco. We've read his comments about how you wanted to come home he wanted to play in the same city is his dad and his and his godfather. And and it's just worry raised. There was not one I owed up Bs in that comment That was his true as he was absolutely honest is possibly as you could possibly be. That's the only place you wanted to play. And is entire tenure here. There were times when you know he may be wasn't Altogether happy with the people that surround him. He wanted more talent there, and I think most great athletes would would share the same sentiment. But you didn't really ever hear about it. And you know it was, but he was just a diva, but he wanted to be there. He wanted me to know Place house, and he never even thought about going anyplace, even in his last contract negotiation. Yeah, he got by the way he could have kept playing too. After all seven, you know, I mean, that that's a whole nother topic for why why nobody signed him after that, But, yeah, I guess he would count but again to the point he didn't kick and fuss for the trade. Ken Griffey Jr. He wasn't really he deserves. It was looking for superstars that moved the needle. You know, Some people mentioned a bit aloof, but you know, he still was. Was a good guy and a great teammate. And you know, he didn't make waves. He just didn't I mean, I sort it. It's just so rare in baseball, that anybody would do that. You know, I thought that when the Giants got Deon Sanders, I thought that was gonna be a guy that could possibly be a diva. That he was just he was awesome Teammate and he was quiet. He wasn't brash and and screaming and pushing him and promoting himself in the clubhouse. His good teammate. He was just discovered very often. I cover the 40 Niners that very same year and he was actually good on the Niners to believe it or not, you know he was, You know, it's funny. He's just flashing on the field. Did you ever play with a guy who went public and said play me or trade me? You know one of those guys trade? My No. Yeah, Not that I could remember. I mean, really. Did you ever want to go to the press and say, trade? My trade me. You know, one guy who Mike Veil did it to make Mike Bill you know, he wanted to you wanted to play wasn't happy with us playing. Um I play with a couple guys that said, bench me or trade me. I mean, imagine that That's true. But I'm sorry. Your other question. Just did you do Did you ever want to do it? Like if you ever get hot right with the situation? Be like you know what shit my butt out of here. No, no, Never not in any city. But look, I was really, really fortunate. I played in three great organizations. Three gate. Great cities. It was it was hard in in Chicago. You know, I It was hard because After Mr Mrs Ridley died, and Bill Wrigley inherited the club. Um There was a big They had money problems, and they started taking out the organization in 1981. We were the worst team in baseball had it not been for 51 days of the strike, and 81. We probably wouldn't last 220 games and I'm not exaggerating. And that was really hard. Um, but never did. I always felt that I was gonna be there forever. And when I got traded after the 81 season To Philadelphia. Um Which is a great city in a great place to play it. I loved every minute of it. I thought I was gonna be there forever. Fact it's funny in 82 after the season, they had a good year, They said there were four untouchables on the team and The Philadelphia Inquirer. Mike Schmidt, Yvonne DeJesus, Steve Carlton and me, All right. I'm not thought that is the coolest thing ever. The next day I get traded man. Oh, man. Oh, man. Well, going back to San Francisco. So I mean, I'm you know, kid from California, and now it could be part of the The rivalry, and I love the city had a lot of friends there in Francisco that I had gone to Cal Poly with. They were from running California. So it was. You know, I was pretty lucky I and I never, ever wanted to leave San Francisco and, you know, thankfully, have always been able to stay. Hey, I just found one last note. I should have probably mentioned earlier in the conversation here is winding down, but John Marosi reported yesterday. This kind of slipped my radar until now, because I guess the hardened trade and other political affairs going on in the world. But you know who, According to John Rocha, the Giants are expressing interest. Preliminary interest in you ready? Mike 37 year old Cole Hamels, Cole. Hamels, one of the great arms of his time. He's now 37 only made one start for the Braves last year Limited by left triceps, tendinitis and shoulder fatigue, but in 2019 141 innings 143 K's and a 381 A Plus just, you know the veteran presence of a Cole Hamels. So, um, well, let me tell you about the veteran presence E mean Every is going to respect the guy when he walks in there, But if you're not making contribution on the field And you, you slip into the cheerleader status. You know, you're gonna lose presence very quickly. And so I had. That's an interesting um That's an interesting topic simply because you know he doesn't have to have great stuff to beat you. He knows how to pitch. He's got a great change up, which in some guys, especially left dinners can last a long time. If we're going to play 162 game schedule, I don't think you could actually figure on him more than 150 innings. If you could give that to you, I think you'd be worth the deal. But he'd have to come in a discount. And I don't think you could actually, you know, anticipate that he's gonna be as good as he ever. Woz. You know if he could just input, But now look, you go for five innings, your hero and I think that he could possibly do that. Now That's a case Bring him on because he is a great guy. And it is interesting like this whole thing about every starter they have right now is right handed. And the theory is that they are you Do you think that matters? I don't think it's an issue. I really don't know if you've got a good change up and you understand to two types of fastball, and you've got movement that runs away from a lefty with your fastball, and you've got a good change if you know anybody out, so I never really bought into it. It's just a matter of guys that know how to get left handers out he would throw from the right side. And I think you have a couple of those guys in that rotation. Um, you know, Cueto and Um, who's the rotation now? I'm a black man. Very fun. That's all I could think of. I forgot him. Cueto, Gossman Dese Cliff Fanny Gausman's his changeup. He neutralizes anybody. You know, I don't know enough about you school money yet. You know, it's just what he's gonna bring. I want to see it, but I, you know I don't think that it's an issue. So if you do get if you do bring a lefty, and I know they're looking, and it is somebody like a Cole Hamels, you know he would be Ah, good ad, but I just don't think it's stopped priority. I really don't He signed it. He signed for 18 million with the brave So I wonder what he'd ask the Giants for That's a That's a tremendous obvious period of that. Yeah, at this point coming off, you know you're that old and you've got a new injury where you didn't pitch it all last year. You pregnant. Take a third of that. Whole Hamels anyway, just kick it around Fun stuff to chew on over the weekend. Mike enjoy the NFL playoffs this weekend. And who knows what blockbuster trade will come our way by next Tuesday, so Good baseball chat. Have a great weekend talk next week. Mike Mike Rico, starting off the power are strong with a wide ranging chat. There. You are listening to the can be our morning show in can be or it can be. RFM, San Francisco, these sports leader. All you good. You ready to dive in?.

"Raker Sherry pulmonologist out of ST Joe's is with us, and I guess the one thing everyone is talking about is the president. United States. Dr Ray. Welcome to the program. How are you, sir? Him. I am doing well, Grandma voice. I gather you're doing well, I'm doing you Look, I couldn't be happier except for we have a dog and the dog was in my office about 10 minutes before I started tonight, and he farted in a radical ways so I might be passing out throughout this first segment. Now see, that's that's the perils of working from home. That's right. Would never have. That would never happen to you in the studio. Never. Yeah, but I brought my dog my study before he did the same thing. He has. No, he has no concern. Run and also in the studio you'd have. You would have to deal with the same Mike Bill Handel uses. So that's a problem. And Gary and Shannon and John and can and Norrie and Jennifer Jones Lee and then on and on and on. I think I'm in more danger right now than the president of states. Hey, So we all saw this order if you watch it today. But the king of media, the new king of media at six o'clock, said, or 6, 30 said, Hey, let's take a plane out of the hospital in Maryland back to the White House. And it was choreographed Tio coincide with the evening news and started 6 31 and ended 6 59. He took up the entire half our newscast of everybody on the East Coast and they were living. But they were well, you know, we ought to talk a little bit about his situation because you know, it's uh, It's pretty important. I guess the thing that I found fascinating Is the regimen he was on. Is basically the same regimen we've been using at ST Joseph's in armed for least four months for Doctor. I know you're a humble man, but the regiment that he is on was first discussed on this radio show. Buy you back in late February. Oh, well, not February because we didn't have him disappear. But everything else? Yeah. And ah Ah, you know, we we use Ah, and the desert where we use Vex Samantha's own. We use asked Amusing game vitamin D aspirin. You said it all I can read. I can play the show for you. Yeah, No, I know we well and it and it's a good regiment. And it works and I saw these All these people criticizing the regiment and I thought, Good Lord, what is wrong with these people? And then they said, Well, the average human Cannot get this. No, they can. If they go to the right place, they can get this. So is it expensive? You know Well, the Regeneron and the rendez A very expensive Dexter. Methadone is not expensive. Oxygen is, you know, available in every hospital in the United States. Aspirin's not expensive promoting, not expensive vitamin B is not expensive. What is the amount of in that cocktail? What's the antiviral? I'm dizzy. Very well. The yes. Rendez enters the antiviral. Now the Regeneron is a polygonal antibody. Next public, Lorna means it comes from two different cell lines. Monoclonal means it comes from one cell line. There's two different antibiotics in it, and they attack despite protein on the Corona virus, and then the rendez severe is an antiviral. Which prevents the replication of the virus so that both of those together reduced the viral load. And there's a lot of evidence to show that if the viral load is reduced Or if the person is exposed to a reduced viral OD either way, the likelihood of a severe side of hide reaction. You know, inflammatory reaction, which is serious part of the curse like 7 to 10. Days later, the likelihood of that goes way down. So, doctor. They did that. So? So Dr Rigas, Sherri's with us who, by the way is not a viral load by the way on DH. What is what is the most expensive drug There is. A what? And B. Why hasn't this cocktail then assembled before and given to people, or has it? Well, we'll be needing him deserve you now for months, and that's expensive, But I don't think it's as expensive as the Regeneron. You know, the Regeneron is the newest and it's not. It's actually approved right now for compassionate use. And I haven't used it. How is it taken is in a shot form. Is it the drip bag? Intravenous. Yeah. Serena, you guys called drip bag. No intravenous ivy, All right. All right, So, Doctor, what is the most expensive is which one of those and how much is it? Well, I don't know. I really don't know that I said I would get general is the most expensive. Oh, no, I'm not going to get okay. Alright, so s so this is now you say, Do you suggest that nobody gets near Donald Trump President Trump the next 7 to 10 days. Well, when you have Ah, viral load, I would suggest that nobody get near him. That's correct. I suspect that at this point, his viral load is dramatically reduced. I'm not exactly certain. When he got the virus, you know, he think announced that he had the virus on Friday. Andi, I think ho picks announced on Thursday morning. Ahh. She got a positive test Wednesday, so President Trump could have had this virus. For several days prior to him turning positive, But your test turns positive 2 to 5 days after you get it, so Let's say he was on Day three on Friday. So now we have Ah, Saturday, Sunday Monday, Tuesday on Monday, so that's four more days. I'm sorry through three more days so he could be in day six right now. So another couple of days. He's probably not going to be infectious anymore. "Dig into today's topic with Mike. Bill Taunton who is on the line right now Mike. Welcome to the show today. So Mike when you are working urine Orchard Consultant Tinton when you are working with your clients. What role does do sprays play in terms of protecting fruit trees from Paxton disease? Well they they play a very important role there's a quite a few Insect and disease pass The very throughout the growing season which depending on what part of the continent or world that you're in can begin In late March to early April say in the Great Lakes region and last until October and even into November In some cases and so being able to understand what these insects and diseases are our And how to help your trees withstand the onslaught That can occur from time to time year to year It's really important. Didn't in so doing nothing Is Not really an option in our climate today but by the same token it doesn't have to super intensive as long as we're choosing the right sprays for the right time of the year for the right insect and diseases. It really can help grow healthy tree and healthy fruit so you say doing nothing is not an option and so described to me. What can happen if we just leave our trees please? And just don't don't use any sprays at all well probably the biggest thing that can happen. from a disease standpoint is the trees can get a number of diseases apple scab Cedar Apple Rust There's a new one that we're dealing with called Marcellina leaf blotch. which if they get severe severe can actually defoliate the tree and if the tree defoliants and this usually has started to happen in late July and through through August Probably two or three months before the tree would naturally drop. Its leaves If the tree defoliants it can't photo synthesize and if it can't photo synthesize isn't it can't create the sugars and the nutrients on the compounds that needs to stay healthy as a tree or grow good fruit and by the same token oh can On the insect side there are insects that Can and not just yes. Damage the tree but could can actually kill it There's bores of different types. Will Board into the trunks of the twigs of the tree That if severe enough can can girdle it and eventually just 'cause the treated decline decline if we if we don't do anything Chances are that something will happen And that over you know it could happen quickly quickly but usually it happens over the course of a few years to where the trees can just decline in die he and also if you are growing your trees in urban environmental where there are more you know they're closer together to other trees. These problems spread really quickly from tree to tree. So if one neighbor in a neighborhood is growing a fruit tree and they let it go. Oh all the other trees in the neighborhood will come

"You can make a case that he should have three in a row of these trophies the year that Westbrook out average, a triple double. He could've made a strong case for James harden could've made a strong case for James harden this year thirty five plus points per game, seven assists. We haven't seen that in quite some time. What is it about James specifically, where just doesn't translate to the playoffs? This is was tough about James harden, even the style and system. He needs help when he gets off the basketball. He's gotta have guys willing to make place you go ahead and watch that series Golden State forces him to pass the air gourd past the Clint cappella passed the PJ Tucker knows guys who can space the floor clinic, appel rim runner, and then they make plays on the backside. We'll guess what? They didn't hit three point shots. And if you want to compare him over to Golden State, even to a Toronto Raptors the row players stepped up you look at Toronto. We questioned vanfleet. We question pass Cousy outcome can go for thirty and other games. Take time Weston. Martin associate Mark where you been can you jump out on Steph curry, and pick a Roland did it? If you look at the Golden State Warriors time and time again, it's not just the stars is the role players versatility hundred dollar secondary point guard. Draymond green secondary point guard. They have a team built to make second and third place. You look at Houston, if it's not hard and getting the shot a hard getting the assist, there's not much substance to that team. I questioned what they have going, and it puts James in a predicament, does James need to show up this James need to make some huge Chacin. I'm not denying that he's got to do more. I'm not denying that, but there are questions with that personnel when I look at them. And when I look at Jaanus he's got a nice team. He's got places where he can grow. And I mean he's close. But as far as James, he takes the same playoff criticism. You tell you these two guys clearly, the two stories of the NBA a personally will, obviously missed a bunch of time, which one of them would you say is the best player in the league right now. Or is it those two guys or is it Kevin Durant? We'll let me let me throw this out to you, because I had, I couldn't could get to it today off, I take but I had an avatar five lists a name you my MBA stop five right now. You ready now? Now. We're talking. Okay. Okay. Right. Allan stopped five NBA lists top-five number one. We'll start up to start five go go. Let's go five I would build up to it. Let's, let's build. You don't want to give the people the deuce right off the bat. Mike whole. Okay. That's a music, Mike Bill top top-five music. No drum roll give you then. I'll give. All right. All right. I mean extra mill you'll give me an instrumental. You hit something. All right. Little NFL films. Here we go number five number five. He didn't show up at a playoffs. Regular season. My man James harden number five hard. And did they possible this season? He made plays. And I said it earlier I take only rivaled Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Wilt Chamberlain. And if he gets pieces around him, I believe that man can put the puzzle together, okay? James harden, number five, James harden, number five, number four best player in the NBA. I don't miss out because you guys you guys are trying to mess up my we're going back going backwards. Building up to it building tours. Care, the one number four filled there'd be no, Matt, listen. The man galleys. Oh. And he came out. He came out on one leg doll. Yo he came out on one leg. It was given a raptors the business he was. And there ain't nobody who can question that. If Katie doesn't even katie's half Ekaete, they win the NBA finals. So it's really hard for me to not Kevin Durant. And I'm assuming he comes back a little hobbled seventy percent. Kevin Durant is the number four player. Okay. Well, where's one hundred percent around this list? Oh, we get in spicy..

That kind of really be in the computer because we're looking for someone who only fit the description of a large African American, and we really didn't have any information on per se that I know it was just talking with the officers who worked at the zephyr field and see if they knew anybody fit that description. This is a big deal for Britain. Because he at least now has the power and authority of the New Orleans police to follow up on leads in that jurisdiction when she wouldn't have had otherwise. So he's good enough to send the Sajjan out to that. So calorie. And from the contacts zephyr field from the information we received who will come up with a hard description on the person that he was looking for. Trying to find somebody in New Orleans is kind of like finding a needle in a haystack. Because since that attack had happened Hurricane Katrina has devastated. The area official. Official that eighty percent of New Orleans is now underwater all these levees had started to preach and water was coming into the to the city, and it was no way to stop it. The community. There had literally been scattered to the four wins. So. I said, well who knows if this guy's even if he's alive who knows if he's living there anymore. What he's doing? What's going on? I said I have no idea. I I said damn I c-. I came this forum not going to give up yet, Ken Brennan's friend in New Orleans actually helped him enormously by tracking down the person. He was looking for it. It's a big city. There's a lot that they don't know. And yet somehow they're able to figure out that he worked at the Superdome when Katrina hit. And they get a name. It has been months and months Brennan trying to just get a name to this video image on tape. And when he finally, here's the name, call you gotta be kidding. Unfortunately, it's a name. We've all heard before. From Miami to Louisiana. This case was taking private Ikin. Brennan on multi state manhunt phones, I had a gasping breath on his on his case. I was gonna make sure they're sort that yet. This guy is exactly what you want obsessed taking it personally. And unwilling to give up even if that involves some wacky theories that other people would say, no way. No, how Brennan's got a contact in New Orleans and incredibly they're actually able to find the name of the suspect. But that name isn't the break. He was hoping for. The combat and tell me the guy's name is Mike Jones. You gotta be kidding me. I Jones was it. A million of them might Joan Mike Jones is the guy's name. I said jeeze, you know, this is generic as you can get. Yeah. I mean, the guys they was like Miguel Gorbachev's of the, you know, it'd be held a lot easier to track down, but guy named Mike Jones is pretty tough the name, Mike Jones. There's nothing worse than that. In terms of trying to figure out who it is. At least they've got a middle, and that's legal. So now, they have Michael Lee Jones. And now they've got to do some more detectable the combination of having the middle. Name leaves them to potentially identified in locating this person. What I did was I took that information. I went back to the hotel registry alone. Behold. What do I find out that? There was a Michael Lee Jones junior that did stay at the airport. Regency hotel. It's a pretty big moment. Yeah. Well, that's an aha moment. Where you say. Hey, listen, I know it was on the right track. And the noted on his car that he did work sent a plate. Grandparent's sued us for the money. I said don't go to court. Give them half way. Is that the hold on stepparents is the grand? The father of the stepdaughter dies. All right. And who get and so the million dollar goes to the stepdaughter. Right. Okay. Who and how how old was stepdaughter four. Okay. Who became guardian of the stepdaughter for the purposes of the money, the mother the mother became guardian. Okay. And who and who sued who grandparent sued sued, the mother? Yeah. Okay. Exactly. And they in what on what basis are they suing her? I forget they wanted the money. They can't get the money. Well, anyway, it was settled. Why would it be settled who settled that? Who would who would settle the case where the grandparents are coming in and trying to get money from the kid and suing the guardian does that make any sense to you. That's what happened. Okay. Through court and spend the money. Wow. Lawyer the lawyer insomuch they give how much did they give the grandparents what down the unbelievable? Okay. So what's your question? I had my friends lock that money up. How did you? How were you able to walk that money up? I just the half the step that we got the thing. You know, my my ex wife got. We put away and never touched it. Okay. So is that we your your your ex-wife? She was the guard -actly. Exactly. All right. So you put away half a million dollars. Now what? When she turned. Oh, by the way. There was true support being paid up until the time. The man died. Okay. Well, that doesn't that doesn't affect the daughter at all it was child support paid to the mom on behalf of the daughter. Okay. So that's why table I don't understand why that has any. So what you're saying? That's part of the question is child Timoti recourse to go. After the grandparents I would think so I would think so both the grandparents and the lawyer her lawyer. Her lawyers dead that cheese what a mess. I just don't understand. How a lawyer representing the granddaughter could take half of her money and give it to people that are making a claim that have no claim. I mean that stuns me and now the lawyer is dead. Yeah. I'd how long will the child is thirty now. Oh, no. It's so gone. Oh, please. So this all happened twelve years ago? The don't happen to know how twelve that'd be twenty six years ago. And you're calling me now. Hey, I just was wondering. Yeah. Well, here's what I wanna do. I suggest you wait another twenty years. So it becomes forty six years ago when this happened God, I love this. When they do that at the end. I mean, I go through this whole thing. Oh, by the way, it was fifty years ago. Yes. All right, Mike. Hello, Mike Bill. All right. Well, here's the situation. I live in and a few months back. I got out of prison on parole. What'd you do? When I was a drug addict and thought anything I saw I could take it was nine, okay. Yeah. Dr baking. Yeah. But what it is? You know, I I did for years, and boy that's a lot. That's a lot of stuff. You took. Yeah. For four years. Yeah. Was it was it state presenter fed state prison state prison? Wow. How many how many times will you sodomized? You know, what only half the time? Oh, half the time. Okay. So excellent. All right. So in Nevada when you're on role as long as you pay your supervision fees every month, and you are working your date doesn't move your expiration date doesn't now seventeen years ago, I was on probation, and I didn't pay my supervision fees. I ended up going to prison for it on completely different case. Now that I'm out and I pay every month, they might supervision fee. I work eighty hours a week just about doing everything I'm supposed to they're not giving me credit because they're saying I owe twelve hundred dollars for the seventeen years ago. All right. So they're not giving you credit for the money you're paying now. Yes. On a completely different case. I so I don't quite understand. So there so the money that you're paying now is just gone. They're saying that that I'm not getting credit, and you get ten days a month for that. And ten days a month for working, and they're not putting those ten days on saying. Well, you always money from seventeen years ago. So until you pay that off you won't get credit for what you're paying now. And they don't even take the money to transfer to what you oh, they're just saying the balance the balance is staying at twelve hundred. All right. Yeah. That's yeah. That makes no sense because affectively what you're paying into your paying nothing. You're throwing your money away. Yeah. Yeah. I'm not getting credit for the day. Even though I pay. Yeah. I know I get it. I get it. So. Wow. I don't know how to undo that other than go to court, and that's gonna cost you a whole lot more than twelve hundred dollars. If you hire a lawyer. I'm just is it the prison is it the prisoner association or the prison administration. That's charging you. Oh, well, it's pro- probation. So when I talked to the supervisor starting down there they say it's the end EOC problem to call the prisons. All right. Maybe that maybe an okay that may be an hopefully, it's an administrative decision. That's made. And if that's the case, you absolutely have the right to appeal it, okay? Okay. Through the administration and because every administrative decision you have the right to appeal. It's just that simple. And they have to give you the ability to come and argue that so you asked I would call them. I'm how do I appeal this decision? And they say you can't there. It's just not true. Of course, you can you can't arbitrarily make that decision. So I want to go there. And then argue your case, you don't need a lawyer for that use argued doesn't it's not fair. They they're going to point maybe to a statutory provisions and says well here it is. You don't pay what you owe. You don't get the credit for any money that you pay could be in the law. I don't know. But you're sure as hell gonna find out, Mike. All right. All right. There you go. And notice that when he said, yeah, I saw demise about half the time. He there was a lilt in his voice. Did you notice that? If I were there, there'd be a glint in his eyes. Julio handle. I have a question for you regarding employment. Yes, sir. Clinical employees, who I've moved up to a supervisor position along without new position came a higher wage and added responsibilities. He's really not cutting it as far as position. So I like to keep him back to his old position which is still available, but obviously not at the same wage. Can I bring him down his prior? Yes. Yes, absolutely do or Julio. Absolutely. Because there is nothing in the law. That says once you've reached a certain position, then you are guaranteed that becomes a new space line. Nope happens. You can bring him down. The law is crystal clear, you can fire someone as long as it's not a protected class. You can demotes someone you can bring wages down you can cut benefits. You can do any of that. There are some exceptions in terms of violating your own procedures. But those are very technical issues with the bottom line is you're fine. What kind of what kind of work does he do or you do small construction company? And again, the supervisor position was to help me take some off of my story. And he's not and he's not cutting. It is what you're saying. He's not gonna fire him and his position is available. All right. So you ask them. Here's your choice, you either take the old position. Or you're gone. That's it. Thank you. All right. That's easy. To a cybercriminals coffee shop with a public wifi boy is at a hunting round in an easy one sows hotel airport. Barrier there, but not going to get the college until the middle of the summer. So what Jay leonhart coming in? We've got a season quarterback Larry wrote that and we're going to have a good solid quarterback steadying the ship. We don't make it to the playoffs. We don't know. I thought it away and win if a good lateral lobes jellies art dryly because they might improve his long right where he might not. But he's still like good or back. So we're benefiting from Alabama. I'm looking forward to about that. All I got. I appreciate you. Let me talk about Trump. Thanks for checking a good to hear from you..

"Anderson. By FOX good sorry about that distraction. Chip. That's nNcholas cage. We are beginning. It's beginning to happen. Now, we're you know, what four days into the new congress and everybody that thinking about running for president on the democratic side has started to come out now. I've said I would tell you who shouldn't run. And then we I'll just give you the finalist here again. And we'll get more your calls and why they couldn't win in a nutshell. Do it quickly. That's just through the top fifteen and in in this fifteen I included some idiots, but John Delaney. You don't know who he is Michael avenue. Ati bug divall. Patrick, I think he'd be formidable if Iran, he's a African Americans really smart guy, and he hasn't ruled anything out Clinton no way cloture from Minnesota. I like her a lot smart great in front of a microphone, Terry McAuliffe. Now, he's a former he ran Clinton's campaign back in the day. Mike Bill Clinton Bloomberg. He's just not good on a camera. And he's just not a good candidate. Right. He's got a lot of money though. And that that can speak to it. But he's not going to be a VP beta roar could be on a ticket as a vice president. He's young charismatic any almost. It's a little early in my opinion. But what we'll do that. So the top of the ticket. Sharon Brown could be they're not Kirsten gillibrand, but she could be on vice president for candidate for mayo candidate could you have to women on a ticket. You can. There's a rule I didn't know better. Now, Cory Booker too early. But definitely a possibility Biden as we spoke about common the Harris. I think is going to be on the top of the democratic ticket and Bernie Sanders. No, Elizabeth Warren. No. And there's a lot of reasons why an and none of it has to do with substance. It's just remember I said this because his true, and what will follow you your whole life people judge you by the worst thing you've done, it sucks. But it's true. Let's go to Gina Gina you're on geo with chicken NICKY, tell us who the Democrats should have on the top of their ticket. And why and I'll tell you why not. Gina. What's going on? You're on the air..

"Thank you. The new York Daily News has been in financial trouble for years, which culminated six months ago when the paper laid off half its editorial staff and now according to its tabloid rival, the New York Post, the daily news has fired its sports editor Eric barrow. He won't be replaced. Instead the position of sports editor will be supplanted by the newly created position of director of digital audience development for sports joining us now to talk about what exactly that means. And what this development could mean for the tabloid wars is communication strategist, Andrew Kertzman. He's the author of the local media newsletter communications breakdown. Andrew welcome to WNYC. Thanks for having me. Well, Andrew, I gotta say this is another pretty stunning development. The sports page is central to the identity of the daily news. And it's been for decades and a city like New York that common wisdom is that the back page of the tab. Floyd sells more unit sometimes then the front, so what does the elimination of the sports editor mean for the papers character, the character of the daily news used to be defined by the sports page. I mean, some of the legendary sports columnists and the city came from the daily news. I mean, pick young Mike Bill Madden. Phil pepi. I mean, you can go on and on these people were giants and not just the sports reporters. But just as reporters in the city. I mean, I started at the daily news myself as a political reporter way back in nineteen ninety and the daily news was possibly the highest circulation newspaper in the country. And you know, they were they were still giants of a sports reporting fan. I mean, they'd gone now from thirty five full timers to just nine sports reporters, you know. It's it's tragic. Wow. It's funny that you say way back in nineteen ninety I grew up reading all three. Three major dailies in the city, and I learned from the tabloids to start reading on the sports page, and I still do that. Do you think that this reflects a change in who the daily news perceives its readership to be moving forward? Apparently, they're trying everything just save the daily news, right? I mean, the papers losing somewhere between twenty and thirty million dollars a year, and they're trying to do on the web what they had been unable to do so far over the last few years, which was find a sustaining financial model, and it's just it's been a failure. And the post reports that instead of bringing on a new sports editor, they're creating this new position director of digital audience development for sports, quite a mouthful now. You're a media watcher in this space, and nobody really knows what that title means. But it's kind of a big title. You think it's going to be a big job? I mean. It is in that. He's responsible for you know, a big piece of journalism real estate in this town. But how big a job can be if you'll only have nine reporters working under you. I mean, it's a skeleton staff money to stand up one person covering the Yankees and the Mets. Wow. But the daily news has done Barack things on a shoestring budget. I mean, it just shows the kind of perseverance and talent of the city's journalists, and that's a wonderful thing. But boy, oh boy. I mean, you're you're cutting beyond the bone and Tribune which owns the daily news as you suggest has been trying to sell off the paper for almost a year. Now, do you think this is going to help or hurt? Those efforts considering how integral the sports section was to the identity of the daily news. Well, it's certainly not going to help circulation right which doesn't make the paper anymore killing. But you know, as a financial kind of pick up it may not matter anymore. You know, they'd be selling the equipment, basically, the reputation extrordinary reputation of the daily news. You know, the good scenario is there's another kind of Jeff Bezos out there. Wants to con invest, you know, tens of millions of dollars to build up. The daily news just as happened at the Washington Post just as happening at the Los Angeles Times and read a real newspaper once again that kind of is what this city deserves and truly what the daily news deserves. I mean, it's been a great paper in this town, New York City wouldn't be the same without the new York Daily News. That's Andrew Kertzman. He's the president of Kertzman strategies and a longtime journalist Andrew thanks so much for joining us short. Thank you Tribune publishing. It says the change is part of its ongoing effort to grow the digital sports audience for the daily news. Sat next time on Latino USA seventy years ago a plane carrying twenty eight Mexican farmworkers crashed in California killing everyone aboard we need the man who went on a quest to honor those Twenty-eight nameless..

"I don't know like rule number eleven is don't ever talk yourself into a terrible QB ever for any reason. There's no terrible QB in just entire playoffs. So when tour, but that rule number ten when in doubt gravitate toward one pick that would screw over the most gamblers and experts and would definitely go against a single worst gambler. You know, I don't feel like there's a obvious round one pick. And that's one of the reasons I like, Ron would you commit all eighteens. There's a case to be made. Right. Well, the line is telling you that on three of them are Ray, you know, that. Basically Vegas season. Even three matchups rule number thirteen. Now, this applies before you wager on the team. Make sure that Marsh Schottenheimer Herm Edwards. Wade Phillips, Norv Turner, Andy Reid. Dan quinn. John FOX Jason Garrett. Anyone named Mike anyone described as indie reads pupil in anyone with the last name Mora isn't their head coach we have Jason Garrett in round one. How many arts so we're? Another likes. Now. There's a Mike Bill O'Brien is is if he does the Indianapolis game on throwing them into Reuther. The Brian stuff is weird to me like they've had awful quarterbacks. And he's still made the playoffs down there. Okay. You're not. You're not even this is the most dismissive you've been on the bikes, I'm giving you a couple of props for we get to the lens. Seahawks. Cowboys or ravens chargers will there be an overtime plus nine hundred yet gimme in overtime, which one. Overtime. Shit. Plus nine hundred. So you do two of those you bet one hundred on each and you're basically risking two hundred twin nine hundred that one of those two games goes in overtime. What about a tie? What's the Tigers game? Somebody's listening to the podcast what you're gonna love this. How come they don't have a proper ties bears? Eagles will there be a defensive or special teams? Touchdown plus two ten. You know, you've got your Bisky on one end. Yeah. Give the bears defense on the other. Basically, you're betting on his is full is going to give it to clue MAC at some point or fumble. Or whatever Jackson. I'm not doing it. I thought it was a good one most passing yards in round. One luck is the favourite post to fifty Watson is pushed four hundred. I think you could make the case pretty pretty strongly that most passing yards is gonna come from that game. Yeah, we go luck. They're against that secondary. Let's to fifty wide numbers in the two games against them. He's put up he's put big numbers. He's like. Yeah. Thirteen for three or fourteen. Well, the other thing Houston's run defenses. I so hard to run against them. You actually have to throw it against them. Most rushing yards about this one Lamar plus seven hundred. So you go through. It's like all right Zeke goes Edwards, Zeke was the favourite. He's like plus Toufic. But see I wouldn't bet on Zeke. Yes. Thank you. Guys, aren't great the odds. Well, Carson was eight to one. Yeah. Carson's not bad. Really nice season. Kind of like Lamar though yet got like a seventeen for one forty five. Yeah. What up or anything? He's going to break one. And you're in it. Yeah. Because I think the Zeke thing is, hey, let's stop Zeke. You can't I don't think you could actually the pats have done a good job of this..
