"Calming. It's really fascinating to me that for you maybe a memory of a touch could also be calming. I have one specifically that I used for flying for a long time. And my father who is no longer around, I don't want to create too many generalizations, but my own generalization of Caribbean men is that they can be very tender. He was the family member I'd say goodnight to. And so I usually lock in in this one memory I was 12, probably around 12 or so years old. And he had an office upstairs, he just sat at his desk, but sort of brought me in and my father had a cup the back of your head embrace. But you cut the back of my head and caress Chris my hair, cross my ad. And his embrace was so it was just so full and he smelled. I used the word masculine. It's probably like old spice cologne. It just felt completely safe and he'd say, good night mijo, you know, I love you. And that was that. And in my memory, that is a, that is an epic. That is an epic tome. It was probably like three seconds. You know, maybe longer, maybe I lingered there, could have been ten. But it wasn't long, but the memory of that, and there's something really beautiful about that idea of like, I think in some ways it is the facing fearful situations in which you can.

"Had a lot of things on my place and i've really worked on not allowing that perception to happen so i reach out and i said hey you know i engaging conversation i am big hibbard like what can i give to them first before i ask for. Something in return also participated in networking events right. And i'm definitely a person of act hosts not a gas. Oh if i join a networking organization or find participation. i'm really gonna do my best to show off in participate and not sit back in the lansing and this is something. That's fairly new for me. In the last year inside bootstrapped pretty much everything. All businesses and this is so boots european I'm paying for. He are so. I am some this painting some Right and so are hired. Vr company on. We'll have some work that's going to be starting You know so. Got see actions. It doesn't take him consideration all the work that put four all consistency increases in my brand. In how i show up knowing my target market like all of the the business skills That go with that. That help impact makes the impasse more profound. Yeah yes great well. Let's have pretty comprehensive sort of wreck of of. Hey going about launching a building. One of the things you've mentioned there was the holding people accountable having accountability codes and Mijo that you get stuff done Told us a little bit more about that about the power of accountability How you do that I'm always curious. How do you do that in a kind of fun. Why that's almost like gamification. Wave pickled done tyke at as a rep over the knuckles. If i haven't done what i said. The dude that waco for example. Yeah absolutely so. There's so many ways to go about that. And it really depends on the individual's behavioral style but also their confidence level and their ego level will say they'll give you a couple of ideas one is I have a couple of different like spreadsheets. That we all have access to so essentially. The crc athletic call the coaching consulting resource center. There will be a a spreadsheet that everybody can look at so just the knowledge of seeing that not something that they agree upon right when they come in. So it's also if i back up it's also getting the commission greenidge setting the context of this is how we're going to play right and also teaching each other. How support you know. Not only the stick right. And and that's that's a process So it's really about setting context getting the permission And then having some kind of tracking a regardless of what that is has been doing fun contests.

"Them. But do we really apply them on a radical consistent basis in all that we do. You can't just trust in heff. By sometimes you actually have to be in alignment in cohesiveness around radical self leith around focus around giving something a red hot guard rather than saying you want change but you not wanting to do the work around it so a couple of key points of discuss on today's episode. I really do encourage you to go back and listen to pot one too i. It's episode two hundred fifty one hundred fifty one now one fifty one amongst First because they will sit scene for you to understand the building blocks and the foundations on what she khanin take on board. This information and understanding your trajectory will be one of uplifting of consistency in sustainable success. Otherwise what we're doing is we're making rash decisions in promises to ourselves. That would advocate rights. I one of my roses. We don't do art projects. I tonight that a techie. Through a cop mckee points in the business of mastering self expanding accountability. Trust remains number. One is that you really need to sell anything. That ensure alignment what a foreign concept. Ni- selling required. Woo this challenge. If you miss snares while things that we've been brought up to believe secondly intuition it's a gift not a power you don't use it against anyone or against anything or to manipulate supersede or gain control. It's actually a beautiful refinement in a sense repentance. At enable us to be completely in conviction alignment with at greatest gifts and to use those to haas capacity. And the third thing is trust that you fully supported. This is a statement that i see everywhere on instagram and greg will talk about mindset in the universe has your back and that you have to trust the fact that everything's gonna work out through easy to say that. How does it actually feel when you apply that in the business. Mastering south so those are the three points today the fat. You don't have to sell anything when these linemen the fact that intuition and gut feeling is a gift not a power and that you fully supported all the time science far right we understand those concepts intellectually by applying those concepts truly with the emotional intelligence and the physical connection of what it really feels like to be in flow of this force completely different. Catfish it requires you to have a radical self discipline around the fact that you are in turtle control of how you feel how you show what you think about. So many things outside of our world are out of control. In fact ninety nine point nine percent of things. One thing that you can. Mazda is your own ecosystem then as your physicality iran emotional stability right. Intellectual quartered stability your spiritual connection. How you want to ascertain that should be defined end your interpersonal relationships. That can excel when you discover the relationship. You're gonna have yourself sir. The business of mastering south pot three is incredibly important. Because once you've come through this period of understanding a win since stories doing the work observing ourselves once we actually accept that there is no shortcut to self mastery and when we really acknowledging get excited about the fact that you listener. I the only source that is required for approval. Then you can create. We consume and debts sway. The magic lies. And that's why we come into this exciting fed part of the series to go. What's next it's cementing the truest beliefs that you should be inflatable. The time regardless of what's happening around there can be illness. Shock landscapes changing business models changing environment financial situation relationships. Everything that is not within. Your control can any minute china. The the one thing that we as humans need to learn to master and get so much back from when we mazda is this ability to have a pure accountability incense trust at all times even when the proverbial shit is hitting the fan. So how do we actually do that. Right in the ghetto this. But how do we do. It requires its recess. Right you've got to lean in to this prices. You've gotta have the awareness identifying the areas that you really want to go and you wanna feel like what is and what isn't working where you need to look around the corner of the box been trying to force your through and go on what is truly the next level potential without any need to force. Donald north. little voice says unique to try this. She can't do that. Just take one step backwards as old as conversations. You have with yourself the most important compensations because that is the relationship to whether you will fool you fly. And that's what's really important is understanding when he started to have awareness the books that come up as you wanna take a face to move into if this is really do for me. It won't possibly by this project this law this relationship. The best things come with the least amount of effort in the end they flow in. They arrive because the frequency the alignment the intent purposes schools. Hot it all matches up but that can't just be occasionally that's got to be unusual. Sorry we have to be accountable for the behind his elements that we would need to put into practice to assist healthy changes in gars. What can you do for your business and your personal life. Same thing that totally interconnected that will give you the next level uplift to live in harmony. Happiness floor in integrity. That is really important. You just imagine that she got to detail out what the integrity in founding grounding the vision that we have to live a life you up. What does that look like in its actions. You've cemented you valley's you understand what's important to you. But how do you bring that to life. How do you sign your online rubber. Nick look what everyone else is doing. What everyone else is achieved during lockdown. What everyone else is doing with your relationships with everyone else is doing with their money. Ultimately i call this robin he ultimately. You need to stay in your online ago. what am i doing. Fool myself as to make sure that my physical financial emotional spiritual and bestself has all the tools and information to really flow into life. And i'm not constantly looking outside people telling what to do next and the third thing is the action behind that. How can you shop fee. So what do you need to do to create the courage to later what you want in crite specific steps so that's really trust and accountability. Right trusting that good is possible for a long period of time in the rest of your life trusting that vision that you have is completely already set out there. Because that's quantum physics will you need to do is allow the process to unfold and take the steps to put play and trusting that you never need to sell anything. That's truly in alignment. You have show up. You have to do the work you have to be congruent consistent true and authentic by doing that that sense of clarity that since it conviction will create an ultimate frequency that sends out to anyone around you to know that you're with it so i wanted just quickly about the fact that we need to sell anything ensure alignment because we bought from her young age to sell to sell an idea to sell a sentence to manipulate. Now calm to try and get someone to do what he wanted to get dessert. Who have vegetables you know. There's lot of what cool a little white lies grey areas or smudging the facts. That are used to get what you want when you're incongruency when you're in florida there is no greater place to exist in the truth. It is the radical element of ultimate freedom. Because when you're new truth and when you don't have to sell when you don't have to manipulate when you don't have to convince it will propose then over seven it takes less energy people know exactly who you are what you stand for what you're providing and vice versa. It is an incredible shift in liberation communication. It's liberation relationships. It's liberation how we show up for us so let's learn how other show up for us when you think back to things that are just happened for you. Many fully unlock doesn't require any. If right know trying to get someone to four love with you does but if you just naturally pulled doesn't require what requires if is when people resist that what requires put when people resist change and growth. Because they're afraid they'll get hurt by before finding the dream job once. You've done your footwork around. That usually just happens. When you've aligned your frequency you'll conviction in you go with your values so of some believe it's executive ahead on my visual. It's exactly harm showing up. I did the research. Did the study and all of a sudden out of left field is jumped as came in and he had trust the old saying when one door closes. Another one pens. It is true there is another expression. His rejection is your protection. What is meant fear will never pass you by. But you have to truly believe that you can't just sort of believe it trying forces situation or force a person of force an outcome because the outcome will be built on quicksand. It would never last things that are built to last a bit with quality with intent conviction whether it's a material thing in emotional thing metaphysical the whole point of building a solid foundation with flowing tent as each have to tear it down again afterwards. So think about way you coming from with your goals your wishes in your actions. Think about the fact that when you congruent and consistent truly is self truth. It's so effortless that it's almost ridiculous. You didn't think about this earlier wrong. We spent a whole logs putting a hundred percent Working hard and showing up and being noticed and being enough when exhausting twice to come from if you contend that around in the business of mastering yourself if you can take full accountability being alignment to be totaling conviction to understand who you are and to done the work around that the results will be priceless and that will continue for the rest of your life but these are the skills that you need to moscow like anything else. You can't just become a master tradesman. By sitting there reading the manual you have to apply the handyman work. Woodwork the ability to actually utilize my skills and this is the same thing when it comes to shifting paradigms and how he shop now lives and to receiving a complete an organic flow of abundance so this brings me onto the other point. Three pass is a wise in each of these series. The fact that you have to note that you intuition that gut feeling that knowledge that knowing it's a gift not a pack saw lauda people einar these days it will work they. Are you know. I'm a intuitive coach. For many many years you just see it on my website. But it's predominantly high work hand in hand with experience twenty five years in facts and stats very very important combination of those things to ground. You know the visions that come in but it was to provide a very practical tool kit with what to do with ice. You fund mona people to back chew. It'd they woke. And i can see things you know the quiet ones that understand the gift behind that often. Don't talk about it. Because it's a natural part of how we can navigate through today's society. We could never get away through decision making through love through work through creation through creativity through days but that requires us to have a certain humility in understanding with the gifts. We will have. It's never something to hold over. Someone's head to manipulate them to use his power. You know it is actually gift to be able to see beyond to have foresight to have compassion empathy and understanding. It's not something that should ever be used against anyone or anything so that intuition that you're honsik nab you're working on. I always say to my clients. Like your luke skywalker where lauding eight section of the lightsaber one step. At a time zipped to loon had a use those interpersonal as intergalactic skills in a completely different way with greis humidity and best practice. And when you do that when you honest your intuition and we treat it with respect that it deserves. We don't use it against anyone but rather to do things for the highest good the anyplace it can come out of that is reward. Goodness so keeping in the instinct. That intuition is a gift. Not a power is incredibly important and everyone has it just different levels in different degrees. Because we're multi sensory beings. we're not three dimensional beings. We're not just sight and sound and smell. We our thoughts and feelings and electricity in frequencies with quantum and when you stop accessing those different layers of yourself as different dimensions as different facets of your individual diagram your individual diamond even you dna. You actually realize that you have so much more. You can add a contributing to this world within the absolute ecosystem of intrigue yourself so no trying to be anyone else not trying to mirror anyone else but mastering self and when you start to edge away from conformity of trying to be like everyone else into commonality of china being your truth we repeat that when you edge away from conformity of trying to be accepted in like everyone else and your et your way through to commonality of like mindedness positively of grounded nece strengthen authenticity who you are that is the commonality the individual self respect grace humility integrity menu fully supported then the universe and everyone else around. You can have you back because you are showing up as yourself doesn't mean unicef honorable doesn't mean things don't go wrong. It doesn't mean you won't get challenges but you will always be wholeheartedly self and then as the most liberating most engaging marcin lightning mason pab is to come from and this is why. I'm doing this series. Which has just really the tinted of the iceberg around my quantum decision making modeling and while my books are around sitting at foundation for tanking power back ensuring you healthy wealthy wisdom your daily integration. You're winning weights your masterful months. You remarkable is. Aren't your on hand at the drive to save your life work not because someone else's coming rescued you not because of rules and restrictions imposed upon you the because you've mastering your ecosystem and that is the beauty and let me bring you to the third part of this. Which is that. I am fully supported statement. If you say. I'll probably have alive. Replayed are live at midnight tonight. Monday mijo when my monday mergers starting out on the six off timber. Very exciting. I've been six months off during those emails. I'm sorry guys you keep asking me where they are back to be honest with you with my father ill this year. I just really didn't feel like rotting monday. Mergers really hit. My mahatma ahead was needed to be with my family and my clients and everything else just didn't have the capacity because i like to personally right all my monday niger's as getting spot each week so i thank you for your patience. But they're coming back and we have the new website and he folk did more dot com and of course this new focused season which is coming out with this fantastic yellow vibrant color which couldn't display more radical self belief in the new custom-made music. Thanks so much to be doing that but all in all this is about evolution correct. This is about knowing that you are fully supported whatever you believe it. If you don't feel that in your bones in your cells in your blood in your skin your hair and everything you muscles just completely feel that you support him every single level. That's what you need to work. That is connection to source. That is connection to your vein here on this planet. For a time you give in to make sure that it is a radical delivery of you. Being incomplete alignment with who you are and there is no dress rehearsal ladies and gentlemen the amplification the ecstasy of living. In truth. All it is worth it but you have to do this work. And why am i so passionate about this. Why am i sitting here and sounding like an evangelistic. Mindfulness preacher because i require my job in my service to humanity that we have great leaders who managed the world's wealth. My service to humanity is the latest that a managing communities in companies in our cash. Lar- a doing so at the highest level of values in integrity that this world can spin around with currency. That is good so important. So no more buoyant dismissive defensive trinket behind you. We all must be engaged considered an open minded but net can only work when you've got a great relationship with yourself and realize these nice shortcut to self mastery. You never need to sell anything. That's ensure alignment because just by being you being focused in coming up with something that is truly in radical fuhrman extension of yourself then it will fly but that doesn't mean that required hard work because you need to do the work you need to show up tight. E actions deliver but doing sorry for a place of pure intent joy creation consideration and increased energy and productivity as a result of it all and remember if you do get stock. You can't just flip a switch to guard from zero to hero your guy. Which is your subconscious pot. Affi are got you to this point and is made you survive. Everything is giving you that false sense of security. That's been protecting you now. You have to realize that you can take this one step further that you have to be radically self-disciplined with what thoughts you're gonna feel your mind banquets are you gonna fill your mind bank with crack in doubt and fear and shame blame guilt and victim behavior or it's right for you but i'm never going to get out of this. I'm stuck in the story. Or are you gonna make the radical instant. Did you hear that the instant connection shoes you second vote to swipe right on that thought leave the other one behind on the crap care so in. Choose the thought for you. That is curious. Aren't engaging considered a neutral place to come from with anything is possible and that accountability. That since the trust that business that you have this is your business. No one else's business to master self is where you'll greatest achievements you'll gratis. Ssu greatest abundance you. Greg his energy conviction love and foundation for your life will thrive. But only if you back yourself only if you actually become the source of urine approval ukraine if we consume any actually realize that there's no shortcut to self mastery. You know we have renewable sense of energy inside ourselves with the amount of that we have that as an incredible frequency and source of energy that tanks lot of imaging. Give it back so in. Today's show was gonna leave you with this episode to go back and listen to the previous ones pot. Two three pat tune. Well listen to tinder episode one forty nine but mice importantly i guess the biggest messages. Listen to yourself because when you call on everything down when you get rid of the white noise when you get rid of having to meditate a certain way having to do things a certain way and you just take a moment to figure out what you away. it's then you're onto. Something always wayside to my clients. Let everyone pushed through the box. Come with me take a couple of stitch the right and let me light the runway for fabulous out for you because this is what we have to guard. We have to stop forcing in fighting and outland skype announced set of beliefs and our hard-driving operating system in a world that is superseded that we used to learn to create something where we're fully supported that we never have to harvest sell anything that's untrue. "I prepared for this question. My entire life in terms of a celebrity. That one's really good. I know you mentioned cardi b. earlier Who you know thinking about the meal in the sweetie meals on both with both of them have comments that were both connected to recent releases of music with being connected to butter and the name of the recent sweetie song escapes me currently but The those meals were fashioned around that new music based on that. I think that this is how we finally get an album brianna. So i'm going to say the riyadh meal i can't imagine what they're coming so i think that this is our in missouri and everybody we've been trying to figure trying to crack this nut for like four years But if there's any way for us to drop out of her. Probably be that nick and literally be like i e like straw wrappers in between to sesame steve bundle like dope girl metoo and give us the album and also like in terms of merge like effendi. Mcdonald's collaboration would be epic and because she promotes Like non gender makeup. It would be just really really cool. I think So that would be really cool as far as my meal. If you order the shannon miller meal at mcdonald's what you're getting is a quarter pounder with extra cheese extra pickles. The diced onion spread not the sliced onions diced onions lettuce tomato mayo in mustard. No catch up Media fries with the sweet and sour sauce to dip and a medium again going j galvin route. A medium mega pineapple. Shake the mega pineapples. Like like the the best thing on the the they never have but when they had mega pineapple smoothie emmy what is the emulator men meal or and for whatsoever to also for the celebrity question. Mijo half joking. Answer is kind of olivia rodriguez. Because i feel like she would however she made that meal somehow would be related. Act how much he hits her ex. And i just think that she would stabbing with a knife like she be like. This goes out to my action. Going to order all the pickles at this mcdonald's because i know how much you love them or something like she would find a way you make. It looks at the firewall handle to find a way to make it super angsty. I jotted down a few others. I think harry styles mcdonalds meal would be absolutely groundbreaking billy eyelash wanna delray. She'd find a way to make it super dramatic china saying And if you wanna know what the one and only. I mean. Liederman orders at mcdonalds. It's a big mac with cheese and lots of pickles. A large fry and our large coke. Because i actually would argue that. The coke is more evolutionary than.

"Oh the woodstock of alcoholic beverages like some some Some people can can know where they want to stop with putting stuff in their body and some people like this is fun. But there's gotta be something that we can get way more illegal than this. And and let's get into that instead in your. I don't know. I don't want to hang out with these people anymore. I did some quick math. And then the capacity of the mock e front trunk. Oh it's thirty six gallons so you could theoretically dump two hundred eighty eight cans of sparks into that bad boy and just have a good old punch for that. Jim appreciate the nation. Just give everybody at one straw and pass that around just like digging out of it like this is what i understand there. There's no practical application for the shrimp cocktail in your front trunk. Like where did you do the why. Why did you do this. You wanted to ruin your mustang. You're like hey how do we ruin this mustang. Let's just put a bunch of like you know shrimp seafood in there. It's not going to smell bad after the fact is gonna be just fine. You guys mouse. But i'm like hovering around. What i believe is like some type of fluid valve to the alley. Shrimp play. she'll then or tartars yes. Yeah and just the idea of how close they are. Yeah yeah yeah like yeah this car driving down the highway sucking up bugs in all this other turnpike shit. And they're like all right. Clean it up poor. The ice in worthy stream set. This car never got driven this. This is like when this but still play mijo play. The theater signed with me. It's equipped with plastic liner. Says the story so yeah. I don't know that there's a. There's a drain valve for all your shoes out. Think about it this way. What if you were okay. You can't tailgate with front trunk. So filled it up with ice through beers in there and then drove down. Does a picture that actually i mean. That's actually not the worst. Because if it's just a strange ballast water it of it's fine. I mean okay. i'll. I'll suspend my disbelief in go along with you on the ride of front trunk cooler mode like sure. Let's do that for over gestation shower. And i need ice again. If you can get like a converter he can plug in a su vida into your car accounted while you're driving home dinners already baby. O- fuck yeah it's just all cooling down on your in cooking in your funk. Yeah well what if what if you got something like that and you're just like all right. It's time to live large. We're gonna fill this up with chicken skin and then just drive down the homeys eating all this chicken skin out of the out of my franck. Pulo rose left. How many how many people. How many times do you think that phrase has been uttered with this type of hand motion by someone with one of these or similar vehicle. Get up him. A front is that i thought i had it. "Like. Oh that happened so many years ago. Oh things were so different. And i was like i had all these kennels in our house and their stories. This was much more recently. I mean their stories showed us that the same mistakes were happening. There is still so much work to be done and because kids are growing up we always need quality foster parents and volunteers advocates and so it was really their stories. That were the inspiration for my second book but because my books were published under the young adult division of simon and schuster are meant for young readers as well and so i had these young readers that were kind of growing up with my story and i wanted to be mindful to them as well because this is an ever evolving story. I i lean into positively and humor and some of those elements as my coping mechanisms. But the reality is that people who are survivors of trauma or really intense stances that stays with you for the rest of your life and in an effort to truly authentic with who i am and the ups and the downs and all the things i wanted to have some of my struggles in my adult life be present in my second book because even though the hits can keep coming. It's it's all about looking at the looking for what's next what's going to happen next owning those darker times. But you know it's really hard for someone to be what they can't see right and so you have to know love and compassion and calmness and and righteousness and justice for you to know those elements are on the other side. And so all of the work that i do today as a social worker. I'm i'm a licensed clinical social worker in florida. And so i run a small mental health agency for children and families and hybris can high conflict situations and i want to be able to instill and os kiddos the ability to transcend their circumstances. No matter what they are because systemically. We don't have a lot of control. You can't control the family you're born into. You can't always control your circumstances but teaching kids how to build those those platforms for resiliency and teaching them how to be productive members of society. That's that's sort of the core of the work that i'm doing today that's awesome. I love the energy that you have for those of you watching you see that glowing and we're talking about tough things but but i can sense that you you've learned from those things and you're turning it around and helping others. I loved your description of family that sometimes it could be dna but it's also the people around us who are supporting us. You'd also mentioned that you just need one person in your life. So i'm curious who that one person was for you or is for you. Well when i was younger. I was very lucky to eventually be assigned that possibly the court appointed special advocate in my book. It's called guarded online. Doesn't florida the program has called something a little different. But i had a costume volunteer costumes a really interesting program so again for your viewers and listeners. If you google costa or court appointed special advocate and your city or stay you will likely find a program because this is a national program and these are people from the community. They're not trained in any particular field. You don't need a phd. Mijo you go through training. Of course now. These are just people who wants to be a voice and want to be an advocate and they come from all walks of life and they get to go in and learn about a foster child but most importantly they get to go to court and they get to tell the judge what's really happening and because this is a volunteer led program. There's no one sign and a paycheck. There's there's not the same level of maybe bureaucracy or red-tape these are really authentic relationships that are formed. And so i. I had a garden light on volunteer. Who came in and she was this. Sassy woman who was like. I'm seeing injustice In my neighborhood. And this is unacceptable. I'm going to be a voice and be an advocate for this kiddo. And she was one of the only people who believed me. When i said i was being abused she get me out of those abusive foster homes and she helped get those foster homes close that they couldn't hurt more children. So that is the power of what a single person can do and that was really A huge motivating force for me. And we're still in touch to this day. Which is really beautiful. I ultimately had more amazing role models. My adoptive mom is incredible. The attorney her name was karen. Gabor's did lawsuits. She was it was. It was just now. I have all of these amazing role models in my life but it all started this. This woman who said hey. Kids shouldn't be hurt. Kids should have school supplies. It was because of her. That i got my teeth cleaned in my haircut and i didn't for some reason like my regular character verse weren't taking care of these little things but she really made sure that things were happening in my case legally and functionally and that is the power of the average citizen has to make a difference in a system that seems so overwhelming. Of course when you say. Hey we're going to have someone come on and talk about child abuse. Every every citizen has a chance to make a tremendous difference. Maybe you're a business owner who can provide job training for teenagers. who are ageing out. Maybe you have a ton of money leftover financially support nonprofits in your group. Maybe your Your parent and you can organize a backpack or back to school drive for kiddos less fortunate in your community or maybe you dislike hanging out with the animals so anything that you can do to just give of your time talent treasure. All of the things makes such a difference. And when i say that these efforts are life or death i don't say that casually because i look the outcomes of my former foster brothers and sisters and even my own biological brother and we had such different outcomes from the age of seventeen onward. He had at least one felony arrests nearly every year and about three years ago. He died from a heroin.

Joe joins us on the program, Mijo. Hey, guys. Have a question of live in the same house for about 20 years. We have an aluminum awning over our front porch. That's beveled. And so there's little enclaves around the frame and starting about last year, we would get birds and those and you walk out the front door and they almost fly into your head. No stuffed and build in a couple of the places and they went away. Well, this winter they've come back. Big time. Is there anything we can spray in there Anything that would keep them away. No, really. The best thing to do is just to go out the back door. Ice is going to say now is it? Is it yes. Or the call? Can wait a minute, Joe. You said you said birds, right Bird? Yes, Steele will stick some steel wool in there for a brief period of time. Or you get these bronze scrubbing pads that at the store that look like bronze. Shaved metal curly Q. Things stick those in there, and the birds can't handle that just to get in the home. That's great, you know, will melt or will rust and that's what we don't want. But you get the bronze ones that you used to scrub dishes and that will give mouth Or that's great. Uh, just go out the back door. Start going to church more, Joe. Well, I was gonna time in. I think Pat was dead on on something earlier about it does take a special person to keep those Saint Luke Taipei's in line. Absolutely. Monsignor Shadows. The man Thanks, Joe Carroll. Yes, you will. Steel wool is perfect for mice and critters that you like squirrels and stuff. But it Russ, we sell a phone now that actually has that's a mouse, because the problem when you're when you're filling gap, and if you're a big gap, and you're using that expandable foam Mice will go right through it. So what stops it? I think they have threads of like steel wool or something in in the phone, and it comes out through the nozzle. Wow. Kind of clunky, But my point is, there is a specific Can you just see the mountain road? Oh, part. Do you see what? That don't try that stuff they don't eat. You don't eat that It sticks in your teeth. Lord we have. You know, our problem in Keystone is is the birds we get in the store? Those little like their house house barrel? Yes, Barrows and those things. I know we're supposed to love the birds. But, man, they are so annoying. They don't know how to get out there. Well, they're full of white paint is what they think. "Would you please explain to the listeners? How're game works? Only if you give me an award for it I absolutely will each week. Wacky Khakis Debra and I both tell one crazy story about the world. But here's the thing the thing I'll tell you thank you. One of those stories is true and the other one is a bunch of lives and it's the job of two human children to figure out which one is which and with us to referee. Khakis is our Academy Award nominated producer for best editing of a kids game. Show podcast. No Eleven Cen Lisa. I didn't know that was your last night that I was nominated for awards congrats dude. I nominated you really. That means the world to me that I win. Well you could win for a price so let me get this straight. You're asking me to bribe you for favourable consideration for an award that you made up. That's right we'll think about it. Let's talk after the show. I'm GonNa be rich so now. What are we lying about on Wacky Khakis this week? Our theme this week is mass movements stories of a bunch of people. Doing the same thing at the same time. Lisa would you please introduce this week's contestants? Today's human child contestants archery episode and her brother Brandon from being her brother. Hey She Lebron guys welcome. We're so glad you're both here. Yeah good you guys are on the same team today and Wacky Khakis. Do you guys have good teamwork together as brother and sister now I guess. Oh No really why. Why don't you guys make a good team? We fight a lot. What do you? What do you typically fight over? Everything Sheila's at correct and mostly. Oh well so you're not fighting over the fact that you fight. Yeah you agree on that. Yeah well okay. As you heard our topic today is mass movements so Have either of you guys have participated in a mass movement of any kind now? Did either of you get on an iceberg with a penguin and then become best friends who did and travel around the world? Now that would that would qualify as a mass movement. When qualified I had it was on a question. I was wondering. Okay well look. It's time to play Wacky Khakis. If you've been with us before you'll know Deborah and Lisa will each have a minute and changed. Tell their stories. Okay Deborah Lisa. I'm thinking of a number. Whoever guesses closest gets to go first nine at least do you mean pie. The number or Pie Dessert Wahdan Ball. I see a. Can you please stop eating more monitoring your report okay? Well these I. I'm just going to give it to you because I was thinking of the number four and Pie. The number is closer to four. Then the nine. Alba our calling up okay. These are that means. You're going to go first so you know. Just swallow it ready all right. Listen very carefully Shayla and Brandon Lisa. Your timer will begin now the Charleston running man and most recently the stands were all dance. Fevers that took the world by storm. The robot was one too. I mean just. We don't move like that at all but anyway you get the idea dance fever but did you know that there's an actual dance fever that got people sick from between the fourteenth and seventeenth centuries. It's called dancing. Mania and there are several reported cases of it throughout history. What happens is that one person starts dancing somewhere out in public no music and then one by one other people start joining them in the street. You get kind of called the original flash mob accept. These dances were completely unreversed and they went on for days weeks and even months at a time by all accounts the dancers appeared totally powerless to stop many literally danced until they dropped. Ed One famous case a woman in Strasbourg. France began dancing in the street for hours on end and within a week thirty people had joined her. The one month later there were over two hundred people dancing nonstop in the city centre town officials try different strategies to cure the dancing mania and even brought in musicians and professional dancers to perform alongside the mob. Hoping that they simply needed to dance it out not so in fact. The music only made more people join in. Historians have long struggled to explain the cause of dancing mania. Some theories include religious fervor poisoning Tarantula stress and a curse sent down from Saint Vitus. The patron saint of Dancers. None have been proven definitively. None Time Nice work. Lisa thank you thank you brandon. What did you think of? That story LIES HUNG IN CHURCHES BELIEVABLE. But it may be believable because some things that are crazy are trail interesting to let. I am telling the truth than I am trustworthy. Well before we go accusing Deborah of being a liar. Let's at least hear her story. I yeah my true story. Shayla Brandon listen up carefully. Deborah your timer will begin. Halloween is many people's favourite holiday. And for good reason. Free Candy silly costumes and let's face it. You don't really do anything in school that day. Some of US wish every day could be Halloween well in Carthage Missouri in Nineteen Ninety. Four One. Ten year old kid. Try to make it so that year for Halloween for niece lyles dressed as traffic on Aka the Yellow Ranger from the TV. Show mighty morphin power rangers who in November? I rolled around and Oliver classmates returned to school in their regular clothes. Bernice came still dressed as a power ranger when her teachers told her to change. She pointed to a clause in the school handbook. That said that students could wear whatever they liked as long as it didn't display bad words or anti-establishment propaganda on her walk home from school. She figured people would still have some leftover treats so Bernice wet trick or treating for a second time. I got more candy in one hour. Then she'd gotten the entire night before inspired by for example. Five classmates wore their Halloween costumes to school the next day and much to the dismay of school administrators twenty-seven more kids did so the next week as Bernice campaign dubbed the Halloween Forever Movement gained national attention for TV news program. Sixty minutes came to carthage to interview. The kids refused to take off their costumes. What Costume Bernice shot back at the interviewer? I really am a power ranger. You're the one who's in a costume boring reporter guide here. Having Pizza Candy in early December Carthage Middle School changed. Its official rules to ban costumes except on October. Thirty FIRST AT EACH YEAR. Bernice now has a plaque dedicated to her in the National Halloween Museum in Washington. Dc hand time. Good Work Deborah. Yes thank you Brandon Shale. What did you think of that story? Would you want to join the Halloween forever movement? Probably NOT YEAH. Because some like costumes can be uncuffed knowing I Dressed as link from Russell wild cool and the pants were so short. Cut off the circulation of my feet out. So you don't think you'd WanNa wear that to school for a whole month. No okay. It is decision time now. Our contestants must decide who story has mass appeal. Do you believe in Lisa's tale of dancing mania. The Mijo mysterious disease that causes hundreds of people dance uncontrollably for weeks on end or Deborah's tale of the Halloween forever movement. I do and the kid who convinced her whole middle school to wear their costumes for a
