"Capital heights, and Alexandria. This is WTO news. 1212. Breaking news on WTO this morning, it's around the January 6th investigation, D.C. mayor muriel Bowser's efforts to deploy the National Guard to protect the capitol that day, and one of the prime time star witnesses at this Thursday nights tonight's hearing in the house. This morning CBS News senior investigative correspondent Catherine herridge on one of two star witnesses at a former deputy national security adviser. Matt condenser and I spoke with one of his former colleagues, national security official Charles copperman and copperman confirmed to CBS News that around mid afternoon on January 6th, he reached out to pottinger because he'd heard through an intermediary, the D.C. mayor was having trouble reaching The White House and finding out about the status of the guard and whether the order had been given to deploy them. Copperman told us that pottinger went to then White House chief of staff, Mark Meadows, who was very confused on the issue. He thought the guard had already been deployed to protect the capitol and that was apparently not the case. How is pottinger's testimony expected to fit into the bigger message, the House committee is trying to get across. The theme Thursday is one of chaos and in action. And Matt pottinger was in the center of it that day over what I would argue is sort of the principal issue Thursday, which is efforts to quell the violence and deploy the guard and based on my conversation with Charles kupperman, who was a former deputy national security adviser in the Trump White House. There was just chaos and confusion in action. They were not clear on the status of the guard. And just to pause a minute to think the D.C. nurse who was struggling to get through to The White House. I mean, this is really, I opening and jaw dropping in the true sense of the word. What's the latest you're hearing about former White House aide Sarah Matthews, the other key witness on Thursday? Again, she's positioned to be that fly on the wall in The White House, right? She can speak to the atmospherics and what she saw with the principles. And there are not many people who are able to do that. And like Cassidy Hutchinson, she's a very junior person. And you could argue it doesn't have a lot to gain except by revealing to the public what she saw in that January 6th day. "A and what is going on everybody for this last segment like. I said we're gonna be talking about some of the best. All-star gains in history and i'm also mlb dot com put together. The list of the most remembered ones. And we're going to revisit those. And then i'm gonna give you my reasoning for why i have one. That is so special to me. And that's the two thousand and nine all star game and that is only specialty for just being my childhood like everybody has that one moment in a childhood whether it be like i like one sporting event and this is like a few sporting events like for me is game seven of the two thousand seventeen world series even though my team ended up on the losing end of that still one of my favorite ones ohio state winning the championship in the college football championship. Two thousand and fourteen as one This two thousand nine all star game is definitely one. And then i'd say game seven of the the the two thousand and sixteen. Nba finals is probably is probably the number one on my list. Just because i championship for cleveland. But let's let's just get into into this one so number starting out at number ten you have the two thousand and two. Nl verses al midsummer classic. This one is remembered for the tie. Game ended in eleven innings. Excuse me it was a tie game. Seven seven in in two thousand and two in is remembered because of the tie as well as hunters catch and the two thousand two midsummer. Classic at milwaukee's miller park have the farthest reaching impact of any midsummer class. Classic think to its ending. It shouldn't be overlooked. It shouldn't overlook the moments that happened before the final pitch though. Because a lot happened in this ball game like i said eleven innings baseball so red sox all stars johnny damon and don't nomar garciaparra as well as ugueth. Urbina unveiled a number nine in the outfield grass. In honor of the late. Ted williams who passed away as before jury hundred made perhaps the greatest catch in all star history in the bottom of the first leaping over the wall to rob barry bonds and get a playful early run. From the giants slugger a takeaway takeaway a for sure homerun from him and bonds got is revenge two innings later though with an absolute laser of a home. Run off of roy. Holiday for it was a two run home. Run that one but of course this game is also remembered for its ending. The league's remain deadlocked. At after the top of the eleventh and manager bob brenly and joe torre met with commissioner bud seelig from the first by the first base dugout ceiling declared that the game would end in a tie if the nfl didn't score in the bottom. Half freddy garcia pitched a scoreless eleventh and the games controversial thailand major league baseball to award home field advantage in the world series to the team from the winning all star team that was bud leagues That was bud selig. It was it was interesting to say the very very least but That was something that seelig wanted to implement so that athletes are that the that the players would try and actually care about the all star game and so that was his idea at in and it actually led us to In fact a played a part in a lot of outcomes in the world series and it lasted all the way until two thousand and sixteen But it actually remained police through the two thousand sixteen season super super interesting moments to say the very least i mean you have because of that zaire created like so david freezes game six home run against the texas rangers back in. I believe two thousand and ten was one of the most historically home runs in in history but the only reason. Actually i believe it was against the rangers at home and the only reason that it was at home was because of this game because or because of the all start because of the way that the all star game was set up and so saint louis i believe even though they had a lower or a worse record during the regular season was benefit benefitted to home field advantage because the national league one the all star game but up next we have the one thousand nine hundred forty one all star game. The american league would win by a score of seven to five. It's remembered for ted williams walk off home. Run the one hundred. Forty one season was of course a special one for ted williams and his year end four zero six batting average but if the nineteen forty one all star wasn't exactly williams. Coming out party he led the majors with one. Hundred and forty five is as the as a rookie. Two years prior it might have catapulted him to another level of stardom nonetheless though williams average stood at four zero five when he suited up for his second midsummer classic but he and aol teammates trailed five to three in the top of the ninth. The junior circuit loaded the basis for dimaggio in the midst of his own fifty. Six game hitting streak. Who beat out a double play. Grounder to keep the rally alive that set the stage for williams who belted a fastball from cubs pitcher claude paso in into the right field stands for a walk off homer in one of the most famous dinger's and all star game history. It was an absolute monster shot and in what way to end the like i. In my opinion. I think that is probably the best or the biggest home. Run that you could hit us like with in a game that doesn't have any stakes like it's a game that is watching and everybody's paying attention to and so you feel the pressure from that. But i but. I think it's only beat out by walk off home. Runs or walk off base hits or whatever if it were in a either a game clinching or like so like a. You clinched the playoffs or you You clinched the playoffs as like the last seed like that would be a bigger home run. I think a to send a team home. That would be a big home. Run but aside from that. I don't know if there's a much bigger home. Run that you can really hit aside for maybe a huge momentum swinging home run in a game that has real like legitimate stakes in the sporting event but the nineteen forty. One season was definitely remembered because of that amazing accomplishment by ted williams at number eight hundred seventy nine.

"MLB All Star game now in the second inning in Colorado, the American League with a one nothing lead over the National League, and you can't blame Max Scherzer. For this one. He had a 123 1st inning in what was his fourth All Star starts. Shohei Otani also retired the first three batters he faced. But Corbyn Burns came on for the N L. In the Top of the second, he gave up a walk two hits that brought home Aaron Judge for the first score of this Midsummer Classic. Now All of this was, uh predicated by MLB commissioner Rob Manfred, telling everyone that that seven inning double headers and a runner on second base to start extra innings that's all likely to go away after the season, thankfully, and also discussed the possibility of banning the shift in adding a designated hitter in the National League and Manfred Reference. This issue with the Oakland A's, they possibly could leave town. But he said the A's owner, John Fisher, has pledged millions of dollars to invest in a proposed waterfront ballpark in downtown Oakland. It's not about that. I mean, John Fisher has done everything I've asked him to do in terms of trying to keep the Asian Oakland and more That I asked him to do in terms of financial commitments. So we're gonna know one way or the other. What's going to happen with Oakland in, you know the next couple of months, and if things don't work out with Oakland, Manfred said, Don't rule out Las Vegas as a possible landing spots. Oakland could actually lose two teams to Vegas. Vegas needs to get used to football year stuff. Yeah, they still need some more time too much on the plate. Yeah, absolutely. "I think the players are as much in all but talk to me about Leading off and he's going to pitch, you know, really. It was an easy decision with this game is for the fans. We do a lot in this industry, and we should keep it that way for the fans and And made the most sense. He is the story of baseball right now. Everybody's going to get to see him right out of the gate. Tell me what it was like, as far as the home run Derby last night and the energy in the ballpark and a guy like Peter Alonso urging the crowd on and obviously story got Great response from the crowd, and Otani and Soto went on and on the hype was something that we have not seen in a long time. We want to get back to that. And the show that all of them put on Peter Lawns of pretty spectacular performance. I actually picked him so kudos to me, but just the way he energized and all the guys went about it and seeing the kids on the field that that's what the All Star game experiences about. And we're so thankful that we skipped out on last year, but we got it back this year. I honestly think about Can we talk off air about going into business together on a T shirt that says kudos to me because I think that that would make a lot of money. Minutes from now we're going to introduce you to the starting lineups. But tonight's 91st Midsummer Classic, Of course Field in Denver, Colorado. John John B. Chris single, didn't have the call Working the dugout Tonight, Tim Kurkjian of the National League Side Bring back ESPN's Buster only work in the American the exciting Buster. Let's go through some first half storylines with you like we did with Tim Kurkjian, who was your first F M v P Buster. Jacob deGrom, the best picture on the planet and the best picture that we've ever seen. This Jacob deGrom is the best pitcher that we've ever seen, and to see how dominant he is helping the Mets. The first place he's the MVP of baseball diagram is not here for tonight. He's not alone. There are some Astros who are not here. There are others, like Mookie Betts, who was not here. What is the word around Major League baseball about some of these players who are not here and skipping out on tonight? Uh, festivities? I I've been surprised at the level of frustration, slash anger about players skipping the All Star event. You know, there are a ton of staffers here her, like, Come on, like this is an event. You know, in the first year after there was so much talk about how you know we missed the fans, and we want to No be in front of the fans again because of Covid. You have a situation. Where have all these players declining to play in what should be baseball signature event, and there's a lot of conversation at the team level about how can we change this? How can we compel players to come and go forward? Obviously is not an understanding among some of the players how the All Star game actually was started for the benefit of players, and so they've got to come up with something I think to make it make it more compulsory for players to show up. You mentioned the teams and how do they get these guys to play? What's something that they're thinking? About? What? Some of the early banter Back and forth to try to kick the tires as to how to get these guys to play. Well, I tweeted out the other day. There may be one thing that you can do is if players don't want to play in the All Star game. You know what they go to Major League baseball, go to the Players Association in spring training and tell them that so your name's not put on the ballot fans don't vote for you the attention the focus can go to some other players, but then it was pointed out by one team staffer. Well, the only problem with that is That all Star appearances are actually used in arbitration hearings as a chip for the players. So what you effectively have our players who want their cake and eat it, too, right? And that is a problem, and I really don't think the Major league Baseball is never going to be in a position to tell players they have to come. The real change has to be in leadership. Among the players. I think in the past if you know a veteran player had skipped the All Star game, some of his peers might have said something. Some of his peers may have made it clear that they wanted that player to be here. I don't know if that exist right now. ESPN's Buster only bus together you appreciate it will get you set now to go cover the American League dugout as we are working our way, just about a half hour away from first pitch for the 91st Major League Baseball All Star Game from course Field in Denver, Colorado, the American League in the National League players are about to Be introduced will get you to the starting lineups from course Field coming up. "Pictures are still going to kind of win the day in the end, But hitters have really started to catch up a little bit more as the weather's gotten warmer, and maybe that's not a coincidence, But I just think we have to watch. You know how the hitters react. How the pictures react the second half of the season, ESPN Sim Kirk should greatly appreciate it, Tim, you're gonna be working the National League. Dug out tonight as we continue to count down to first pitch for the 91st Major League Baseball All Star game. Of course, a couple of the storylines that we're keeping an eye on tonight. Obviously Shohei Otani right off the bat, but let's not forget for the National League, their third baseman. It's coming home. The third baseman the starting third basement tonight for the NL batting third for Dave Roberts is No. One. Erin Otto, now of the ST Louis Cardinals earlier today, he spoke with Marly Rivera, No. One Is it bittersweet to be here at course, field as an all start with a different uniform. You just enjoy the same. I'm just enjoying the same. Me. It's a little different, obviously, for sure. It's definitely different. But I mean, just being here also arguments just an, um little feeling and I'm so fortunate to be here and I love it when you are in this lineup, right and you're going to get to face Shohei Otani because you're early on, there's going to be like Do you have a technique? What have you thought? Were you watching him? What is it about Shohei? And are you looking forward to seeing this venom? Finally in a game? Absolutely. You know, I think I remember we face in the spring training 18 his very first outing, spring training, And then that was it. I made some sense. You know, I'll try to get the wind up down on deck and try to really see it. But, you know, I know he's really good. He's going to be a battle. But I gotta be ready Hit because I don't wanna give him too much. What's the most special part of being an All star? What is it about this week and this day? That is special for you guys. I think she's been with the elite of the elite, you know, and hanging out with all these guys hanging on the kitchen eating talking about game just those little things are so much fun and so special. And, um, you know you don't you don't don't take them for granted. You know, I love coming here and I love hanging out with all these guys and watching them work. It's amazing. Is there anyone that you wanted to meet that you've got to have a conversation with? I know a lot of you guys have been around for a while. So you know a lot of these guys. Anyone who wants to have a conversation you've gotten to do it. Well, you know, a lot of the guys. I mean, on our side. I feel like I've known a lot of these guys play along for a long time. I've always had conversations. I'm excited to watch parties. I'll be on the same side as him. Um and seeing live in action offices him always like Browning. Third, and I'm always tired of it. But now I'm excited to be on his team and watch him play. He's gonna be fun to watch. But obviously JD over there on their side is amazing Hitter. I love Bogart's man. He's been unbelievable this series one of my favorites to watch, so there's a lot of guys, I mean, enjoy. Well, you know, the ale has had the upper hand on the N L lately. Yeah. What do you think is gonna happen today? Do we have a prediction from Nolan Arenado? Hope we win. I think we need to win. I think everyone eight in a row right this second. That's getting that's out of control. It's time. It's time for a change. And I believe that we have a chance to do it today at his Nolan Arenado forming of the Colorado Rockies and was an offseason trade from Colorado to ST Louis, the Cardinals sending five prospects back in return to the Rockies today. No. One out of an hour. No. One Erin Outta returns to Chorus Field. "And you expect to that He also has been very good at conserving energy and learning how to channel his energy, which I think actually, Kevin worked against him in the home run Derby because he didn't take any batting practice, right. I think that was part of that, but I think he's accustomed to this and let's face it once he gets out there. He's going to be feeling the adrenaline of this moment and this crowd in this opportunity to bat in the top of the first inning and to pitch the bottom of the first inning. He's good to go. Joey Otani sleeping all day. My spirit animal certainly like them right there, Bustin as he does. He gets 60 home runs this year. Now I think at some point I mean his margin prayer to do that with 33 right now. He's if he were to continue the same pace. Yeah, he would be close. But let's face it. At some point, you might seem getting nicked up. Or maybe you've got a hamstring thing, that sort of thing. I think it's just too tall about In order. The one thing I would say about that is that if we get to the beginning of September and the Angels that kind of hanging in the wild card race in Otani sees those numbers in front of him. I think we've learned about him week. We can never say he's not capable of doing X. And if he starts to focus on 60 homers, it'll be very interesting to see what he does ESPN's Buster Olney, of course. Last night it was the T Mobile home run Derby was one For the second consecutive time by Peter Alonso for the New York Mets. He just seems like he's built for this busted as Peter Alonso do this every year until he gets knocked off. I think he will. I mean, he's made it very clear in my conversations with him in the past that this is something as long as he's invited. He wants to win. He absolutely loves this event he practices for this event. Which is why I picked him to win it. I feel very smart Yesterday. He takes it so seriously, for example, you know, Dave vows came in and threw for him last last night after his cousin through form last year. Dave Joust was so consistent and Pete took advantage of that. I got to tell you, you wonder about going forward, assuming that peak continues to participate if All of a sudden, the question around the home run Derby becomes, Can anybody beat Peter Alonso kind of reminds me of like the late eighties Mike Tyson, where everyone is wondering, how are you going to beat that guy whose heart rate seems to be at 65 when everybody else is about 185 when we do find the 42 to 1, however, please let me know because I'm going to Caesar's William Hill in the sports book, and I'm unloading on the 42 to 1. Whoever does beat Peter Alonso whenever it may happen, But I'm with you. I hope he is in this home run Derby every year, and maybe even if he's just waiting in the finals, All right, you got through the round you got through everyone else. Now come face the big boy. We'll see what happens next year in Los Angeles Buster matchups to watch tonight as we get set for the 91st Midsummer Classic. We're all waiting for the bottom of the first inning when show here tiny is on the mound and Fernando Fernando tattoos juniors in the batter's box. It's going to be the swaggy ist All Star matchup ever. You know that tattoos Jr is going to be up there coming out of his shoes, looking at Jack the ball and you know, tiny. He's going to have all that adrenaline work, and he's probably going to be thrown about 102 miles an hour and I would bet the family farm back in Vermont. I don't know if they're 42 to 1 odds on that one. But I would bet that there's a fastball to start the game. Otani trying to beat Tattoos junior. It was so cool during the Derby last night to see those two guys interacting. There's such two of the people. I think we now consider to be faces a baseball ESPN baseball insider buster only once again betting the family farm. Not sure if he has access and allow us to do that, But he's doing it anyway. "Morning news, The MLB All Star Week continues in Denver. It culminates with the Midsummer Classic later on this evening. Major League Baseball moving the game out of Atlanta because of Georgia's new, controversial voting lives. But there is a debate over whether their lives are too dissimilar than that of Colorado's. Colorado does have a national reputation when it comes to voting. Right now we're visiting with Secretary of State Jena Griswold and Madam Secretary. Thanks for joining this morning. We know why the All Star game was moved to Colorado from Georgia. Some have said that George is voting laws are no different than Colorado's. Your answer to that would be my answer would be that's ridiculous. It is ridiculous to compare Colorado Gold Standard voter model to Georgia's especially now new voter suppression election model. The kid differences in Colorado. We mail a ballot to all active registered voters. Every election in Georgia does not, um, so that means that our average wait time. If you go vote in person is seven minutes across the state three minutes in the Denver Metro. In Georgia before they passed their new package to make it harder to vote. They already saw lines over eight hours long. Um there's other major differences. You know, they have one drop box for 100,000 people. We have one dropbox, part 9200 people. I'm along with many other differences, but at the end of the day, we have one of the most acceptable election systems in the nation, and the results speak for themselves. We have the highest percentage of eligible people registered and just were second in the nation and turn out in the 2020 general election. I looks like Texas is another state that could see more restrictive voting laws. 17 states have recently passed more restrictive voting laws. I think you would agree that you are looking for sanctity and security with the vote. Is there any grounder nuanced or justification with any of these changes with any of these states, at least in your view? Well, what we are seeing is on the heels of the most secure election in American history, which was the 2020 general election. That also had record turnout among both Democrats and Republicans, a move by elected officials who just didn't like the outcome to now try to tilt future elections in their favor by suppressing the vote. So we've actually seen over 400 bills in 47 states to make it harder to vote. We've seen a call for fake audits to undermine confidence stripping of authority from secretaries of state whole host of things to really make it harder for the American people to vote. But what I would say is look at our election model. Uh, we are beacon for both security and access. Like I said, we have one of the highest turnout rates in the nation but were also considered the most secure. One of the key reasons for that is the use of mail ballot and make it more accessible for Colorado's too easily vote their ballots and return it. But they actually increase our cybersecurity posture because Russia a bad actor just can't half a paper ballot. Do you have any date at all? That shows any kind of voter fraud here in Colorado? That would give you any concerns? So here in Colorado, we vote on a piece of paper. Their mail ballot is a piece of paper. If you vote in person, even if you want you Is a piece of voting equipment. You're actually given a piece of paper that you can review that's what gets counted. Um and none of our voting equipment is connected to the Internet. And just to really make sure everything went as well as it can be. We do something at the end of the election called a risk limiting audit that shows us to a high statistical degree of certainty. Teak. That the election results were correct. We would find any any problem if there was any problem. Um, and answer the second question. No, we did not see any widespread voter fraud in the state of Colorado. We have guardrails set up to make sure that we catch any bad actors, and the election went incredibly well in 2020. We were in the middle of the pandemic. There was not vaccinations yet. And even in the midst of that more Colorado's cast a ballot than ever before, in any election in state history. Our election model works Secretary of State Jena Griswold. Thank you so much for your time. Thank you. We're considering a new name that moving forward, they would have no ties in Native American imagery is the right path. "Now on Colorado's Morning News, the Rockies hosting this year's Major League Baseball All Star game, you'll want to see familiar faces as part of the Midsummer Classic. Man. Marquez is on the NL roster cover story set to compete in the home run Derby, a manager But Black can be on the National League coaching staff right now, looking at the midseason report card for the Rockies, and, of course, the All Star out. Look at it well with the Voice of the Rockies. Jack Corrigan, Jack. Good morning. Good morning, Marty. So I want to start with this The last night listening to your call. I hear the disappointment in your voice and your like, geez, not another struggle on the road when a game that the Rockies had a chance to win. Yeah, it um You know, I've been doing this for a long time. And you know good teams teams with tougher years. This is this is different. Because until watch a team plays so well at home, and then I have so many different things happen to them on the road. I mean, there are explanations for it. But to this level, it's a real head scratcher. Jack. I don't know if anybody is expecting the Rockies to win the World Series. I think that's fair, especially with this being kind of a transition year and the Nolan stuff and all that, but Six and 32 on the road. You've called baseball a long, long time. Have you ever seen anything like this? Um, no. I mean, I've you know, I've covered. Uh, several teams that have lost, um, triple digits. So I mean, I've seen teams that Really have had issues. Um, but not like this. I mean, like I said, there are there are some You know things you can point to and say the reason but usually not. Not that not that they continue to to this level. That's the That's the surprising thing. You know, they'll We'll get pitching and not hit that day. They'll get hitting and and not pitch well enough for you know, they'll have some freakish thing happened. Like last night. Um and you know, with baseball like Bud says, you just You start up the next day and again, you say Okay, Well, now we're going to win a bunch of road games. They just have to start doing it. That's all one more question about the current state of the Rockies, and we'll talk a little lost our game. But if you had to give the midseason report card right now, for the Rockies, your grade would be Um, probably the incomplete in that, I think, as as BK said, a little bit of, um, transition going on this year and young guys having Chances to play are are starting to show some things, but you know not to the level of where they want to be, and I think it's going to be a very important second half. To evaluate what they're going to be doing, whether they make some trades at the trade deadline or other things that are going to happen. I don't know that you can give them a great other than incomplete at this point. All right. So with the All Star game coming to town, it wasn't a lot of lead up time. Like you would normally get how ready is course field and can you feel the buzz when you're down there I know is obviously a great weekend series with the Cardinals felt like I think I've even heard you say a playoff atmosphere. Yeah. I mean, it'll be a fun week. Give the Rockies credit, you know, for Greg Diesel and all the people on that side of the Rockies operation, um They They obviously had plans in place because they were going to be hosting an all Star game around this time, But to essentially do this and the 12 13 weeks that they had is really a Herculean effort. And I think, um, come this weekend as events start to take place right through the All Star game next Tuesday. I think it's going to show off course Field and the Rockies organization, the city of Denver State of Colorado in a great light. I think it's going to be terrific. I think it is too. And I just want to make one final point. I think you'd agree with this. I think this whole canard That you can't pitch. Of course Field, Airman Marquez is showing. Oh yeah, I can pitch a Coors Field and And the fact that he was named to the All Star Game as a picture from the Rockies essay is pretty darn remarkable. Yeah, well, you know, Marty, they have a chance. Certainly The starters can stay healthy the rest of the year to pitch as well as a group in the history of the franchise. So, yeah, you know, I give Bud black a lot of credit, along with You know Steve Foster and the other people who have been pitching coaches for the for the ball club they have, you know, assembled the kinds of pictures and developed an attitude that That really says, you know, go ahead and say we can't and we're going to show you that we can and you know whether it's airman or it's Kyle Friedland. Or, you know John Gray. You can you can see that. They relished that challenge, and they've done a great job with it. Voice of the Rockies Jack Corrigan, Jack, Let's get a couple wins before you come home here and have a break for the Austrian game. Thanks so much, my friend. As always, Marty. Thank you. Yeah, we're going to try and see even get a few this week for sure. That would be great. Thank you, Jack. 7 30 here. The news is coming up in a moment. The driver.

For MLB, moving the All-Star Game is a financial whiff

"On in the world of baseball, some of it somehow connected to politics. The MLB chose to move their All Star game from Atlanta, Denver the problems with that there's a lot of them first. Denver has a lot of different rules that George I just put in place that make it confusing as to why you'd move the game from one place to another place when photo ideas required when you can't give out water to people. In line and you're unless you're further than 100 ft away and wearing paraphernalia that's connected to a political party. There's a lot of things, but more importantly than that is the amount of revenue. It's gonna be lost by four Atlanta at a time when they need it, and nothing stings worse than hearing the guy in the other place, celebrate the fact that they're not gonna have an All Star game. This is what it sounds like. When you're the mayor Denver you step up. You're like, Hey, we're getting all star game. This is awesome National stage this July, right here in our city and to once again showcase Denver to the rest of the country. It's been a long year. And I can think of nothing more energizing to help advance our recovery and to boost our economy, then by bringing the 2021 Midsummer Classic back to the mouth, High city It's just It's just crazy that that's gonna be referenced time to get the amount of money it's going to come in, is also very significant here hosting this event. Is about so much more than the home run Derby or the game itself. There will be plenty of week of events activities for the whole family throughout downtown Denver. And volunteer opportunities for nearly 2000 people. And those benefits are far beyond will last far beyond July. By some estimates, this event will mean more than $100 million impact to our local economy.

Well, used a big game. Only when you're talking about an advertiser. What happens is if you're like the official if Kroger was the official supermarket of the Super Bowl, you could say Kroger and Super Bowl, but and they probably don't have an supermarket. If the advertiser you're referring to is not the official sponsor of the Super Bowl. You're not allowed to say it the same thing happens in the summer with the all star game you'll hear people refer to the mid summer. Classic in a commercial. That's because whatever they're doing.
