Farm where 4 were killed had separate shooting last summer

"The California mushroom farm where four people were killed earlier this week, had also been the scene of gun violence this past summer. Court documents reveal there was a shooting at the California Terra garden in half moon bay in July. When a farm integer allegedly fired a gun into another manager's trailer. After threatening to kill him. Yi Tao Bing survived that day, but not the shooting on Monday. Bing was one of four victims shot at that location. Three others were killed at another mushroom farm nearby. But there's nothing to suggest the violence of the summer was connected to this week's killings. The suspect 66 year old Chun Li Zhou told station Kent, he wasn't in his right mind. He said he'd been bullied and worked long hours and his complaints were ignored. California officials are looking into possible labor violations at the farms, where the shootings took place. I'm Jackie Quinn

The Debt Ceiling Showdown With Congressman Andy Biggs

"There is a critical fight that is looming in Congress. In fact, it's happening right now. I'm going to read from Politico dot com. Senate Republicans tell the house the debt ceiling fight is on you, basically the Senate Republicans are doing what they do best, which is to run to the hills and do absolutely nothing. So this is on the new House of Representatives to fight to hold the line and hopefully use the debt ceiling fight as a way to get an effectuate some meaningful change. Joining us now from the great state of Arizona is Andy Biggs, Andy, welcome back to the program. Hey, Charlie, good to be with you. So Andy, walk us through what is exactly going on with the debt ceiling fight, the Senate wants nothing to do with it, but we have the majority and more specifically the house freedom caucus has really more power than ever before. So what's the strategy what's the game plan of this critical fight? Okay, so for people who don't understand this, the debt ceiling hit last week and that's an estimation that we're going to run out of money. Now the way that happens is that came on the 19th and then from the 19th for about until July or August, we have enough money, but we have enough we're going to take some special measures to get us through that. But before then, we're going to have to raise the debt ceiling, so we don't default on our loans. So that that's what it boils down to. The problem is the Democrats and some of my own Republican friends have spent this into oblivion to get there and they believe in something called the modern monetary theory, Charlie, which means that you could just keep printing money and it won't have any effects. In other words, you can just keep borrowing money. So what we need to do is to counterbalance that you're going to have to have a short term increase in your debt in order to pay off all of your loans and other your obligations. But you're going to have to reduce your spending and the way you reduce your spending as you go through, first of all, and you find anything, just like you would in a normal budget. I did it last week. I didn't realize I had so many Amazon channels. Amazon Prime channels, Charlie. And so I went through and I just started whacking them because it's crazy. You have to do the same thing at a bigger level.

Today in History: January 24

"Time now for today in history, January 24. Two dozen. Here's time. This is kind of interesting. In 19 22, Columbus sailed the ocean blue over a hundred years ago. A guy from Iowa named Christian K Nelson invented something. Anybody remember what mister Nelson invented? The paper clip. No. The accu Jack. Nope. He invented the Eskimo pie. Oh. I don't think that should count. Food being invented shouldn't count. No, he created. No, the Eskimo pie. This is chocolate sauce frozen on ice cream. What year was that? 1922. Right? So I think Asia is taking exception with it. Don't eskimos get all mad now when you see this. So I Googled this and I found out that the Eskimo pies name has been canceled. The famous chocolate covered ice cream bar is getting a new name. It is now known as the edes pie. Edy apostrophe has edes pie. You know, one of the most successful teams in the CFL, Canadian football league, used to be the Edmonton eskimos. What do they know? They're now the elks. Edmonton elks, that's pretty cool. Edmonton elks. Okay. So yeah, that name is apparently not especially well liked and you have a tribute pad? Sure, sure. Bye bye to the Eskimo pie. I hear the names and sensitive, but I'm not sure why. They took away my ice cream back in July. Klondike klondike bar I'll give you a try. To pronounce it properly next time.

Jeffrey Epstein's 'Suicide' Was Anything But

"Remember back in the, I want to make sure I get my years right. I think this all happened in 2019 if I'm not mistaken. And I remember it was August or September 2019. If I'm remembering correctly. And Jeffrey Epstein was arrested. And Jeffrey Epstein was arrested. And a friend of mine, who remain nameless, who's very well sourced in the Intel community. He's been on our show before. I'll just give you that little heads up. I'll give you that little tease. We text often and he said Charlie urgent call me. So I picked up the phone and I spoke to him and said, hey, what's up? And he's like, I got 5 things. He was always on top of the ball and head of the game. And he said, Charlie, they're going to kill Epstein. I said, what are you talking about, man? I don't even. Is that the guy that's the pedophile with the young girls? I didn't know that much about him. I vaguely knew a little bit about the Lolita express in the island and but it was still a little bit of a foreign concept. And he said, no, no, I got sources. They're going to take out Epstein. I was like, all right, man, sure. What do you want me to do? He says, you got to tell Trump. You got to get him in a maximum security. You got to get Secret Service protection. It was like this whole thing. You got to deploy the agents that he is the nexus that he is the linchpin that if you are able to isolate and get a little bit of what Epstein knows, you could take down his words the entire cabal. And I kind of, and I'll be very honest, I was naive. I rolled my eyes. I was like, all right, man. Sure. And our team can tell me what the gap is between the arrest and the murder or the suicide, as we're supposed to believe. But everything that he predicted came true. And not only if I just add one more detail, he said they're going to make it look like he killed himself. Now, whether or not this person that I spoke to on the phone that was very well sourced and is what very well sourced. And by the way, he's been right about dozens of things as he's come on our program. He was right on things on Afghanistan. He was right on many different things. He was arrested on July 6th, 2019. And he died on August 10th, 2019. So about a 5 week gap, which makes sense. That means that the ruling class and the elite started to get very nervous and they started to put plans in place.

Ohio House ex-speaker's trial in $60M bribery probe to begin

"The former House speaker for Ohio is headed to trial on bribery and corruption charges. When Republican Larry householder and four associates were arrested back in July of 2020, the U.S. attorney at the time, David de villas, called it the largest corruption case in state history. This was pay to play. This week, jury selection begins for a panel that will decide if the ousted lawmaker and former Ohio GOP party chair Matt borges are guilty of racketeering, prosecutors allege the men were part of a $60 million scheme secretly funded by an energy utility to pass a $1 billion bailout for a nuclear power plant, both men have pleaded not guilty. Since the indictment, two householder associates, the nonprofit generation now and first energy corporation all cut deals with prosecutors, while the chairman of Ohio's public utilities commission resigned amid FBI scrutiny, campaign finance experts view the case as a chance to clarify the line between legal and illegal handling of so called dark money that is flooded politics in recent years. Mother, 1-year-old son killed in Alaska polar bear attack

"It was a one year old boy and his mother that was killed in a rare polar bear attack in Alaska. Alaska state troopers say that a 24 year old woman and her one year old son had been identified as the victims of a fatal polar bear attack in an isolated Alaskan native village, poor weather and a lack of runway lights at a local gravel airstrip prevented troopers and wildlife officials from arriving to the area, like many far flung Alaska village as the small community organizes patrols when the bears are expected in town from July through early November. That makes what happened this week almost unheard of because polar bears are normally far out on the ice in the dead of winter, hunting seals, and not close to villages this time of year that they don't mauling is the first and more than 30 years in Alaska. "If you follow me on Twitter and I hope you do over you you at my most recent tweet links you to the rainfall totals in California and there are two columns daily totals, rainfall to date as a percentage of the year to date and the rainfall seasons as the percentage of the full season. So the full rainfall season of July 1 to July 1. And that normally they measure the snowpack on April 1. That's when they figure out how much water California will have because snowpack is basically reservoir water. It will melt and run off into the system. But they measure the water two ways. Over the course of the season, so are we at 10% we're about halfway through the season, July 1 to January 1, we're about 53% of the way through the season, where are we on the seasonal total, and then as a total of the whole year? And how much rain do we have in California, it's pretty extraordinary. This is today. All right, so normals today. In, for example, San Francisco airport. Normally, in a normal year, they would have 8.7 inches. In a normal year in California, beginning on July 1 at San Francisco airport up to today. As of today, they have 19.94 inches at San Francisco airport. So there are 229% of a normal year's rainfall.

In the 6 months since its July launch, the 24 hour 9 8 8 mental health and suicide helpline created with funding and support from Congress has received over 2 million calls, texts, and chat messages, the 9 8 8 number was designed to be as easy to remember as 9-1-1, Health and Human Services say, the volume of calls is beyond what was anticipated. There's now a pilot line dedicated to LGBTQ youth and 7 centers answering calls in Spanish, but long-term funding for the helpline is in jeopardy. Can Former AR Gov. Asa Hutchinson Gain Traction in the 2024 Race?

"Hugh you had joined now by asa Hutchinson, former governor of Arkansas, former member of the House. Good morning, governor, good to have you on the Hugh Hewitt show. You, it is great to be with you this morning. Hope you're well. I am. I assume you're running for president. I don't know if you formally filed. Have you formally filed yet? Oh no, I have not no final decisions made. It's a little bit early. Most important thing is the message that we get out of a common sense conservatism and new leadership for our future. So I'm going to be fighting that battle in the coming months and we'll see what the final decision is. So governor, when do you have to make a decision by to be actually competitive? I mean, you've got to raise a lot of small dollar donors, the RNC is going to put people on the stage based on pulling a number of donors if my leaks out of the RNC are correct. Debate is supposed to start in July and Milwaukee when will you have to make a decision whether or not you're going to go formally? Well, I think you've got, you know, the three or four months should be in the springtime. That gives you time to be ready. So that's the outside marker to me is sometime in the spring. We're doing all the things that are necessary in terms of I'm going to be in Iowa. I want to be in the key states. I want to be talking about what I believe in in the future for our country from border security to energy policy and we see where that goes and makes a decision based upon the level of support and the final decision as to whether I can make a difference in the direction of our country.

On Bitcoin's 14th Birthday, the Gemini-DCG War of Words Heats Up

"All right, folks, while I hope you have had a great holiday season in a very happy new year. And boy, this year is off with a bang. Yesterday for most businesses in the U.S. was a day off, which is what happens obviously when new year's falls on a Sunday. But that didn't stop some of the biggest drama in crypto for coming right up to the fore. So a quick recap of the genesis DCG Gemini situation. Genesis is a digital currency group subsidiary. By the way, so is coin desk. And genesis has been caught up in a lot of the crypto institutional failures of this year. In July, court documents from the liquidator of three arrows capital showed that DCG genesis had lent three arrows capital a total of $2.4 billion. Three C had put up approximately $1.2 billion worth of crypto as it was valued at the time as collateral. In the court filings, it showed that DCG claim against three AC was by far the largest at 1.2 billion. The next biggest creditor was Voyager digital whose claim was 687 million, and then there was one more claimant with 302 million and the rest were in the lowly 8 figures. At the time a spokeswoman for DCG said both the DCG and genesis balance sheets remained strong, with no remaining exposure to three hours capital, genesis continues to be well capitalized that its operations are business as usual. How many times was that sort of statement last year proven to be not completely true? So fast forward to the FTX collapse. At first genesis said they had basically no exposure, but then a few days later, that was up to 175 million. However, just a few days after FTX went into bankruptcy, genesis global capital, which is the company's lending unit halted withdrawals. is never a good sign in fact, it's usually the sign that something much bigger is going on than anyone had wanted to let on. The VP of communications and marketing at DCG said at the time, today genesis global capital genesis lending business made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend redemptions in new loan originations. This decision was made in response to the extreme market dislocation and loss of industry confidence caused by the FTX implosion. The decision impacts the lending business at genesis and does not affect genesis trading or custody businesses. Importantly, this decision has no impact on the business operations of DCG and our other wholly owned subsidiaries. Right from then no one thought that was exactly true. But over a couple of weeks, there was much swirling in rumor of potential bailouts and funding rounds.

See, here's what I can't stand about government officials. And it's not just government officials. It's big government. You should look at government this way. Dr. Thomas Krannawitter: Looking at the Story of Slavery

"True or false, America as the greatest or is the greatest antislavery movement country of all time. Absolutely true. That's kind of what I wanted to come and talk about today. One of my purposes in life is to reframe this entire subject of slavery. And I want to get into it with an example, an analogy from the world of sports. Just this past summer, I'm a big baseball fan. And a guy named Aaron judge, he was a baseball player for the New York Yankees. He did something no one in the American League had ever done. He hit 62 home runs in one season. And imagine Lee, if you were telling someone that story, he said, wow, can you believe it? This guy is the first player in the American League to hit 62 home runs in one season. And imagine if someone looked at you and said, why didn't he do that earlier? Why didn't someone else do that before? Why didn't he hit a 102 rather than 62? Why did it take him all season? Why didn't he hit 62 by July? I mean, nobody would respond that way because we're talking about something that is unprecedented. And so we celebrate it. We say, wow, that's a whole new standard of excellence. That's the way I want citizens to look at this story of slavery in the American founding.

It's about family. Well, no, it's not about families. It's about the son of God who came and died and rose again so that we could be a part of God's family. And I tell people all the time, you know, latest survey came out this week showed that the maximum most people can stand being with their families is four hours. On Christmas Day. And so a great thing to do is break it up and take your family to church and worship God together. It's a great way to spend a Sunday. So

And for anyone else in the area who needs his services? Tantrums. Public cemeteries are center, Meetinghouse Hill North Branch and over East. I visited them all. Before my election. The town's department of Highways had maintained them well. Three of the four are now full. With many dark grey, heavily weathered slate markers from the 18th and 19th centuries only north branch is active, which is to say new customers are welcome. Recently after friendly and sympathetic chat with an older woman who wishes to bury her son's remains. Here, I strolled down to cemetery Road, a well kept dirt road that borders my property, just beyond an unnamed stream that flows from my land towards Steele's Pond and the North Branch River. Was amidst the heat wave in mid July. 2019 the slightest breeze was welcome. As is usually the case with rural dirt roads. The trees lining both sides of the right of way had grown tall and large enough to form a kind of green tunnel, which I found beautiful and soothing. Some of the older trees at the top of the hill seemed to have grown as mirrors of one another, their upper branches entwined. Perhaps they are ideal lovers growing side by side and together, completing one another. I reached the cemetery and found the second gate open. So I entered and found my callers family plot. It is large and inspires confidence that her relatives will find room there long after I am gone. When I was a child, my family lived at.

Early evidence suggests it might be more resistant to vaccines but today dr fao she making it clear. Delta is still by far the most troublesome variant in the. Yeah that's right. David children between the ages of five and seventeen. They're getting infected at a higher rate than any other age group and since school started back in july nine hundred and sixty thousand children have tested positive for covert david heart tonight. Kelly thank you and you heard dr fao say there we must remain focused on the delta variant here in this country still spreading and quickly particularly among children but there is also concern over this new variant immune variant. "Shown by any standard is an impeachable offense, particularly under the Ukraine phone call standard. There is simply no question about this. Two weeks after his remarks to reporters, denying the Taliban takeover was inevitable. Biden and Ghani, the president of Afghanistan, spoke for 14 minutes on July 23. Was their last conversation before the Taliban captured the capital. Johnny fled the presidential palace Kabul in the country on August 15. But in mid July, Biden was intent on Ghani delivering a public message. And public plan that would sharp confidence in the Afghan government. He said. You clearly have the best military of 300,000 well armed forces. By the way, they've never had 300,000 armed forces versus 78 80,000 there clearly capable of fighting well, we will continue to provide close air support. We know what the plan is and what we are doing. He pushed Donnie to allow his defense minister General Bismillah, calm a llama. To pursue a strategy that would focus on defending major population centers. And he urged the Afghan president to bring together some of the most powerful anti Taliban warlords in a show of support to reverse perceptions, perceptions of a crumbling government. He said. I really think I don't know whether you're aware just how much the perception around the world is that this is looking like a losing proposition. Which it is not. Not that it necessarily is that But so the conclusion I'm asking you to consider is getting together, Everyone. If they stand there and say they backed the strategy you put together and put a warrior in charge in a military man con in charge of executing the strategy and that will change perception. And that will change an awful lot, I think, says Biden. Johnny responded by saying Afghanistan was facing not just the Taliban, but their foreign backers, he said. We're facing a full scale invasion composed of Taliban. For Pakistani planning and logistical support, and at least 10 to 15,000 international terrorists, Predominantly Pakistanis thrown into this. You've never heard any of this. Neither did I have you Mr Producer. So they were being invaded. On top of everything else from Pakistan. You didn't know this either, folks. But Biden did. He also asked the American Close air support. To be front loaded, he said, to help with the challenges faced by the Afghan army immediately In other words, he wanted them to hammer away at the invaders and the Taliban immediately. Details of their conversation emerged. Today, the day after the last troops were flown out of Kabul, ending America's longest war. They right Is a daily mail. You'll never see stories like this broken in the New York slimes of the Washington compost. Washington. Compost is busy chasing Peter Doocy. That's our boy. Philly bump. What a complete slop. The follow up call later that day. They did not include President Biden, Biden's national security advisor Jake Sullivan, General Mark Milley and U S Central Command Commander General Frank McKenzie spoke to Ghani. Reuters also obtained a transcript of that car. In this car to an area focus was global perception of events when they ground in Afghanistan. Global perception, not the reality. Millie, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, told Johnny Quote the perception in the United States and Europe and the media sort of thing is a narrative of Taliban momentum. W think And a narrative a Taliban victory. We need to collectively demonstrate and try to turn that perception that narrative around They're not even talking about how to help stop the Taliban Within Afghanistan. They're talking about the perception. Their perception. Now you're also going to see who the real reporters are and who the real reporters are not. This should be On the top of every news program. This should be a marquee headlines in every newspaper in America. On every website. That's worth a damn. Do not believe this is That time is our friend here. We need to move quickly, Mackenzie added. A spokesperson for Mackenzie declined to comment. A spokesman for Millie did not respond by publication time. Wow. Wow, and they dump all over Trump for his phone call. With the president. Of Ukraine, which was perfectly fine. They're wanting. The Afghan president to lie about what's going on in the ground. Biden is lying to the American people while this is taking place by lied today about what was taking place. This is the first time I've read that you had foreign fighters pouring into Afghanistan from Pakistan. But perception the word perception keeps popping up. Wow. Nobody could have known by and said I'm quoting him the Afghan army would collapse. If I knew it was collapsing. And I'll add a few other points. Here You have the president of Afghan and whatever you think of the guy now, here he is the president of Afghanistan, saying I need you to front load airpower. We need air. But what does Biden do? Mr Producer? He shuts down our air base and pulls out the air power. What? Oh, Millie and McKenzie say we're running out of time on perception. Another point. As they blame the citizens of the United States should be the dual citizens for being in Afghanistan. We sent them 19 warnings. Biden You were trying to tell the world and you did tell the world that you didn't know that the Afghan army would collapse this quickly. You didn't give him what he wanted Air cover. You pull them out of the air base, for God's sakes. So how the hell were any American citizens to have any idea what the hell was going on when buying was lying to the American people? The water. Pelosi And the rest of the Stooges intent on doing about this. And I expect the Republican leadership in the house to take this and run with it. We cannot have a president who lies to us like this. We cannot have the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff who participates in this We cannot. We must not We can't believe a damn thing that comes out of his mouth or Millie's mouth are Austin's mouth of the secretary of state, the national security advisor. They needed to change perceptions that the Taliban's rapid advance whether it's true or not. Whether it's true or not. And again say what you will about This president who ran off with God knows how much money in Afghanistan, he said. We're losing their overrunning us. There are foreign fighters pouring into our country 10 to 15,000. From Afghanistan. How combined didn't say that in his speech today. They didn't tell a single reporter day in and day out at the Pentagon with this guy Kirby Gay in and day out at the State Department, this guy price day in and day out with pus sake. What? General Milley? What General? This in general, that not a word. Now, let's see how the media react to this. The AP. Reuters port reported. It Let's hear the AP response I noticed, the AP reported. The Defense Department always says Well, thank you for being here. She says this to the generals. The secretary did. What do you mean? Thank you for being here, dummy..

Troops expected to be out of Afghanistan by Mid July on Afghanistan. There really was no plan once the Taliban was overthrown and in Iraq also little post war planning, and frankly, Iraq is considered by many. I talked within the Pentagon to be one of the worst strategic decisions and the nation's history, but he remained defiant to the end. Now he did expand special operations forces, and that's widely seen As a plus and let's not forget I mean Iraq. It was a war that famously began with folks information about weapons of mess destruction. That's right. And that's why I say he was one of the architects of Iraq. In Iraq or after Afghanistan and he refused to talk to the Taliban. On the troop question. This became a huge issue when Osama bin Laden was suspected of hiding out in the mountains of Tora Bora in Afghanistan. Bin Laden might have been captured, many say had more troops been sent into, Rumsfeld said. Absolutely not in his ultimate refusal to send more troops a few years later led to his firing and being replaced by Robert Gates. But here's the thing. Gates only recently said, You know that maybe Rumsfeld was right. The U. S should have left earlier in Afghanistan in 2000 and two and really turned it over to State Department and other folks. I am curious time. I mean, during your time reporting on Rumsfeld, how did he come off in person? He was an arrogant, prickly kind of guy, especially with the press. He once began a press conference by talking about how great the Afghan forces were doing and I piped up and said, If that's the case, Mr Secretary why they're thousands of Americans there and he said, That's an accusatory way of pointing it and didn't answer the question that is NPR. And i just wanted to make a point on the broadband because that's another topic that came up in north carolina. I will say there has in. This may be true in many states. A reluctance to let local government go out and create their own broadband networks And that has been a long case in north carolina even if the federal government is saying that you are eligible to use broadband. I would make sure that you understand your state assembly or whatever. The governing body is because miners understanding and north carolina is are really much more enthusiastic about the water sewer given the financial distress and some of this regionalization and how appropriate is to solve that at a local level than they are broadband. Which i think there's a preference that that be more of a statewide integrated system and so they don't wanna go see a bunch of small units. Three not counting this week's holiday rating The average the last six weeks is one point three. So you can make the case okay. Set aside memorial day. Bit of an aberration set aside that it was one point to the week before. That's still sort of the margin of error. They're still in the range of one point three. They'll probably be there july like there's no reason to sound alarm bells a lot level or do you think what what we're watching the numbers going from one point three six to one point three five to one point two way to one point two zero two one point one. Oh actually there is a leak and they're not that that needs to be addressed in the next six weeks. I think there's a league. I don't think they will address it. I think they should. But i don't think they will. I think it just all focuses is on once they get back on the road and get fans back in the building. It's i mean it's going to provide a boost to the show and it sounds like they're working on a new set and things like that. That's all great. But it's all the cosmetic things are nice. You can have new packages new announcers all that stuff. What if creatively. It's still a train wreck. It's only a matter of time before the same issue happens. And they don't have much time they go back on the show in mid june. I'll bet gives you a roughly two months before you start facing like nfl competition even if it's just in preseason and then the regular season comes september amid every gam year they run up against the nfl. The numbers just keep getting worse like. When does it end. When does the freefall stop. We've been waiting for years now and it just keeps getting worse. Yeah i think the next six weeks are going to be A real big story in this industry and doesn't matter ultimately when it comes to selling like our have we learned from listening to these conference calls and seeing the financial side covered. Wwe that they're not actually paying a lot of attention they they're looking vincent man to give him give him a line. That sounds good enough. You know we're going to reimagine how shows that was his answer. Okay well fantastic mine. So we all think about dropping attendance compared to same quarter last year and nothing happened In with the ratings. Oh you know when we look at the numbers or vince or someone will spend go. We're are in line with where we've been always relative to cable shows. That kind of thing is wall street. In our the financial people are gonna pay any attention to all this data or in terms of the disconnect with fans the the ratings going down creative problems and the fact that they're just stripping stripped the roster to cut expenses to make profits. Look better if that's what they're doing are they gonna is. Also you're going to go. Oh profits or better yeah. This is a great company. Still because we're not really a history of them recognizing the more nuanced aspects of why it would be. Why vincent man might wanna sell at a high point why they might be suckers for buying into it and not seeing the data that we talk about every week. It's interesting thought we mow with all the cuts don't and everything that we've seen so many of us are thinking sale and vince himself has said you know a couple years. We're open for business. I thought we might see stock. Really shoot up in anticipation of a sale. And that doesn't seem to have happen so they're not reading things the same way. Maybe there's not that buzz because usually they're not supposed to have some people seem to find out about these things and take advantage of it and they really haven't been any signs of that but as far as like the analysts will be mixed. As far as the call's they take there'd be the usual one woman is always in love with damn near everything they do. There's going to be the ones that'll probably applaud them for trimming the fat as they'll see it They i think wall street's gonna give them the benefit of the doubt again because they haven't had fans because they're going back on the road because they've been running opposite. The nba playoffs all built and excuses. That they keep getting to recycle the obviously. The pandemic is different. But i do think there's gonna be another thing to say. Wwe will point to. And i think nick con seems to be a darling in the financial world and he consoled him on the right excuses. I think they're gonna buy it hook line and sinker is. Is your antenna up more for for for. Wwe selling and selling soon than it has been in recent times in india that there's indicators beyond sort of gut feeling looking at the headlines in terms of buzz elsewhere so i mean to me. It's the gutting of the company. I mean you can. Yeah there's redundancies. And you want to clean up and an somebody's coming in and doing what con- is doing as far as being the head financial guy. You're going to get some of that. But to the extent that we have is what really makes me and khan himself. I know he did that interview with colin coward acting like he can't see. Vince mcmahon every giving up control. And but i don't think fence would have to i. Dana white really didn't win the ufc was sold. And like i said. I think there's this perception adventure the creative genius still and he's the only one who can do this and i so unless sits up front. He's going to retire. i. I would think that they're gonna want him to steer the ship. If there is a sale. And i think he would retain his power but also get that big and whatever it sells for the big payday out of it. I mean it's you. Look at some of the departments. I mean they've really got it. Thanks man it's it's not just the talent they got rid of. We usually get the post wrestlemainia house cleaning of talent. That's not a huge surprise but the fact.

"What if you suddenly plays a little bit stronger in the first half continues doing what he's done in the second half rips off eleven interceptions the defensive player of the year. And you haven't paid. It's gonna cost you a lot more next year. Oh yeah. I mean the the price is just going to go up just just general inflation of nfl salaries. I mean joel. Corey made the point After that tweet from tyronn that You know that will in other words he doesn't want to the chiefs don't wanna him x. Amount of dollars because this is what another player just got. Well no not necessarily Chiefs had a lot of other problems to deal with before They got to that point. And they're still plenty of time all those contracts for patrick mahomes and chris jones and travis kelsey last year all happened between mid july and mid august. So there's still plenty of time for the chiefs to put together an extension with they. Gotta they gotta prioritize things in the right way and in the draft. They had prioritize on that. And now they've got these other things to worry about. Now they can concentrate on getting matthew extended and So i yeah i agree. I think we're gonna see Contract extension for matthew This season i think it makes sense from a capstone standpoint. i think it makes sense from a team standpoint. Yeah i. I just can't wrap my head around them letting him play on his final year. So yeah certainly yeah. Those are the most important quotes from last thursday's media availability. I'll say it again. Go back from the podium if you wanna hear them in their entirety when we come back. It's june one. What does that mean for some former chief still out there. Stay with us on.

"Press release. They stopped putting those out for quite a while like a couple of months. Okay this is going to be a lot of negatives in the sentence but the lack of them preemptively reporting covid cases the dropoff of preemptive reporting without you having to ask does not suggest necessarily that there are no cases in the jail.
