The Ruling Class Is Demoralized

"The ruling class is getting demoralized. They thought the implementation of Biden. Let me say that again. Not the election, but the implementation it was the most interfered with election, an American history, $400 million from Mark Zuckerberg, from the center for technology and civic life. The interference from big media and tech companies into our last election Biden was implemented. They also thought that their posture and the authoritarian turn post January 6 would result in conservatives and just regular Americans backing down. They thought that we would be giving up that we would be suing for peace. Instead, conservatives have more energy, more activism more resolve than ever before. You see the leaders of this slow motion revolution that we are living through. Envisioned a much different state of affairs. They envisioned conservatives, not showing up to school board meetings in massive numbers, but instead, trying to do some soul searching and looking for Liz Cheney or Mitt Romney to lead our party. They envisioned conservatives doing what we did after John McCain lost in 2008, which was let's go to the middle. Let's try to become more moderate. Now there was a temporary moment when the Tea Party rose up, but the Tea Party was squashed by both establishment Republicans and the media. In a variety of different ways. You see the ruling class right now, they are losing faith in their own project. The ruling class is realizing that this is not like storming the Bastille. You have to keep on winning

"Let's talk about the other. Big news wendy roaches arizona. Senator senator with i think how many other ninety other politicians demanded these certification and talk to us about this idea of decertification vice. Reinstatement we said. Reinstatement not a goer. What is the significance of this phrase in. How realistic is it. Well it's realistic. As long as republicans have the political backbone in the political will to actually do something about it so well. Reinstatement was a political theory. That was kind of in my view. Outside the margins of the us constitution decertification is important because it is a legislative recognition through the actual constitutionally appointed entity to recognize and safe for the record. The certifications that happened in the swing states including arizona. Were false. they were based on information and facts. That were that we have said. Throughout since november third is not the accurate reflection of what the voters actually indicated. Or what happens then say arizona decides okay. This is enough abnormalities. Tens of thousands of votes that have potentially fraudulent if they decertify. Does that not then require if there's a requisite number of these certifications for a re meeting of the electoral college well. So that's one thing that can in in my opinion should happen. If you get at least three states to decertify. And basically joe biden falls below the two hundred seventy threshold. Then we are in the constitutional crisis of congress having to say. "That compares to mid January We're getting about 506 100,000 doses a day. So it is moving in the right direction. I think more and more vaccination channels are coming online pharmacies. They're gonna be coming online in about a week with their own vaccine supplies, So I think we do need to get faster and I think we will get faster. And Johnson Johnson hopefully will help us do that. Should the people who have been vaccinated continue to wear their masks and keep social distancing. And if so, I mean, do you think that that Could actually deter some people from lining up to get vaccinated because they see maybe a little incentive to get the shot without that instant gratification of getting their lives back to normal. So the answer is, people should continue to wear masks absolutely, and practice social distancing, and that's for a couple of reasons. First of all, the vaccines aren't perfect. They are very, very good vaccines, as compared other vaccines that we take the very effective so far. But still there are some people who won't get perfect protection. It's also unclear yet whether people who are vaccinated and don't get sick can still carry the virus. So if we wear mask were less likely to transmit it to someone else who has been vaccinated yet, so I think it's We should continue C. It is both helping ourselves, prevent infection as well as our civic duty to try and prevent others from getting infected from us, and presumably then when everyone or closed everyone is vaccinated, then perhaps we can get back to something closer to normal. But until then, as you say, think of yourself and others In the meantime. Last thing Dr Ingalls be. I'm curious because we finally saw some encouraging statistics at the federal level and then granted there sometimes lower on Sundays, but there were about 87,000 new cases of covert 19. Yesterday, and that was the first time since early November that we dipped under the 100,000 marks. So do you see that as kind of a one off or do you see some encouragement there that the number of cases Are going to keep declining. It's definitely encouraging and more than a one off this has been going on. Now. For many weeks, cases have been steadily declining Hospitalizations have been declining a little bit less quickly than case numbers, but still on the decline. We're hopeful that the numbers of people dying will also begin to go down and I think people also it's possible. People are appropriately worried about the new variants that they're reading about and are trying to take, you know, physical distancing. Very seriously and hopefully a combination of things were happening there helping his drive case numbers down around the country, and that trend continues. You have people are concerned and redoubling their efforts to abide by those s social distancing and hand washing and mask wearing protocols. That's probably a good thing. The name of the book is nothing is certain but death and taxes until now, again, like Mike said, Page 77 through 88 Be sure Or to read those their ultimate goal is to help you grow, keep and distribute your wealth in the most tax efficient manner possible. So there is a story in market Watch Mike and Ryan talking about people who are preparing their finances for a possible Biden presidency now, like Mike said, We don't want to get political here. But what are some things that we should be looking at right now before the election to protect our money, and regardless of who wins in November? Well, I think that regardless of who wins in November, the most Important thing you can do is make sure that your retirement income is secure so that no matter what happens in the market You have the income that you need, because if we go back and look at history historically, anytime a current president stays in power, the stock market doesn't react. If we have Ah, change in in the presidential office from Republican to Democrat Democrat Republican does not matter which way it goes. We typically have a Pretty good run up in the market until about mid January. Before we have the market rolls over and dies and pulls back about 10 to 15%. You know that being said there there are wrist Tio, both presidents. You can't predict the future. We can't predict the way the stock market's going to react. Yes, we can look at history and see what's happened there. And try to plan that way. But why take that risk with your retirement Weaken? Take the steps now to make sure that if you want to retire in two years, three years, five years, 10 years, whatever that timeframe happens to be. And you wanna have $5000 a month coming in from your investments. Let's take action now, before there's any large wrists of the market before we have A potential pullback. Yes, the market could go up, but it can also go down. That's the beautiful thing about the stock market. It goes both ways. Let's take the time now. To make sure that your income is secure, and that's the number one thing we do with our clients. Each and every day is make sure that that income is secure so they don't have to worry. About the gyrations of the stock market. They don't have to worry about the presidential election. They don't have to worry about a second wave of covert crashing the markets again because we've taken the time to make sure that their income is secure. And if you think about this, folks, the concern is what happens to your portfolio. So you want to insulate your portfolio from market generations to the extension can write. So the money that you need to live on its absolute Sillitoe watch that account go up and down in value. You know, in 2008 when people took 20 to 40% hits, that's insane. The stress that that causes as you're trying to figure out where my going to take money this month to live on where I'm going to take money this year to live on the 2015 even 2020 I mean, people are worried about is going to end up positive is going to end up negative. Take the risk out of the market with regards to the election and life's events that happened thatjust caused the generations in the first place. One take that risk off the table to the other part about it is with interest rates at his store close, right? I mean, unless anybody thinks interest rates are going to zoom anytime soon, you should be taking the interest rate risk that you have off the table and think about this for just a minute, folks. The way of bond works is that when interest rates go down, the value of your bond goes up, and when interest rates go up, the value of your bond goes down. So if you have money in an exchange traded fund or a mutual fund our own bonds the value of your bond is going to go down in the near future, especially in those mutual funds because the manager in that mutual fund, he's constantly getting more money sent to him as people get nervous about the market. And he's buying Mohr and more bonds and the bonds. He's buying today are not paying five and 10% anymore. They're paying one, maybe two. And if you're lucky, 3% So just think about that. Maybe it is the right time to start taking some of that risk off the table where were not subject to interest rate risks, either. So You worried about the election take risk off the table. There is time to get this done to put you in that comfort zone that you want to be in were you're not gonna be stressed. I'm in a stressful enough going through the election. Why would you put your portfolio your retirement? Your entire future. The legacy that you're gonna live. Don't put that through that same stress test that we have to have. Every time we have an election every four years. You have an opportunity to take advantage of it right now by giving us a call 866597 10 40. What will do for you is called a portfolio X ray. And we really will defect your existing portfolio. We're going to tell you how much risk you're taking were going to tell you how much your pain and fees were going to show you some allocation options that you might be able to take that you might be able to implement that you might be able to use to reduce that risk, so that if if your concern is that Biden gets elected in the market's going to crash Fine. Let's protected if you're concerned that Trump's going to get re elected and the market's.

You guys are helping a lot of people right now prepare and you know what going talking about the book? Specifically, I would tell folks when you go out and buy it. Read page 77, a page 88 that talks extensively about the secure act and the taxes that are expiring in 2025 way have all the way through 20.5 to take advantage, but it talks extensively about the things that you need to be doing now. To make sure that you protect yourself from the taxes. And I mean and I don't want to get political. But think about Joe Biden gets elected. What happens to you? "DPO Orlando's news and talk please call it the size this by this it exploits the differences the national level if you want to be exploited and if you want to live many all right D. bags then you do it if you don't want many more body bags then UT frame from politicizing it well that sounds like a threat to me that is the head of the WHL Ethiopian descent where sixty percent of the the open to good Kanemi is fueled by China and this guy who will not acknowledge the existence of Taiwan or the success in crushing on the virus and gave the I. China pass back praise them I handling this deadly virus sits in over a hundred eighty countries that is the head of the WHL warning us not to politicise at do you believe this joining us now senator Tom cotton who probably does believe this center you take that as a threat yeah Brian I don't see how you could be what Dr Kendra said anything other than a brat I think part of that is designed to deflect attention away from the WHO's obvious negligence and accepting what China has to say at face value in many cases in January with painting Chinese propaganda that minimize the spread of the virus if you're saying that it wasn't transmittable given humans when we already had evidence that was going on January that it most likely what is I think that's why it's important that we get to the bottom of exactly why China has so much influence with Dr Ted dressing WH when we get almost ten times as much money is that the HMO is they do as you pointed out ET LPL when he was a minister there was one of the very first company our country to go in with the belt and road initiative and there's pretty well established well deserved reputation for corruption touching on the belt and road initiative with national leaders like Dr drive so it's important that we get to the bottom of exactly why he has always acted it and apologize for the Chinese Communist Party since then I'm gonna go to a timeline here and tell me when you became aware how bad this potentially could be the W. H. O. is wrong about the covert nineteen from the start let's go to Taiwan warned on December thirty first of this virus was contagious two weeks later China was punishing doctors in destroying virus samples W. H. O. tweeted this the Chinese line that there was no clear evidence of human human transit trains ugh mission that was until March eleventh after the virus to taking hold around the world the W. H. O. declared in a pandemic we were you on this yeah it was probably the second week in January that I first started following the news about the barking China that point still mostly the station news sources or obscure medical journals but it was about mid January thanks to my first letter to the administration and first started dot speaking about the virus to our colleagues in the Senate them in the media and even from those days it was pretty clear the virus had not originated at food market was transmissible from humans to humans and that the compay generate would probably much higher than say the seasonal flu and unfortunately the mortality rate telling much higher as well yeah if you put it out there the WTO or I'm sorry W. H. O. continued to basically Chinese Communist Party party talking points or to have celebratory press conferences you know in build that they'd given it a name that was not infected to Chinese leaders failing totally misplaced priorities at the time they should have declared a public health emergency almost immediately upon hearing about this from Beijing on December thirty one initiative much more aggressively to try to contain it within China at that point right so our intelligence say you know this is a big story about in December itelligence picked it up in January was in the present daily brief politely thought this could be a what is the reality here because you you took your concern right to the White House in the middle of the impeachment impeachment mess so what could you tell me about how where they were of this when you brought it to the so but I can tell you this I mean the the D. I. A. the defense intelligence agency took the extraordinary step a couple days ago putting out a statement disputing I think it was an ABC news report maybe one of the steps well yeah I standing on that there was some kind of classified intelligence breaking as far back as November December about the risk of this virus I I can tell you that again all the information.

"To hundreds of millions of Europeans are as many as a third of the entire continent you know we've seen numbers of Spanish flu pandemic of nineteen eighteen which you know the top estimates that one hundred million people but really you know up until we had antibiotics vaccines things like that modern sanitation simply it was only a matter of time before some kind of epidemic would break out check human population and the fact that you know we actually were able to stop that for the most part is what enabled the world we have now the fact we can travel around the world the fact we have as many people as we can in a city like New York about eight million nine million people that wouldn't be possible without being able to actually mostly oldest check when that happens when we get a new one we haven't seen before we see what happens which really brings total destruction but that way of life until we can figure out some way to really stop it you were living in Hong Kong during one epidemic that broke out and that there were attempts to contain it and it with mixed results that you have seen multiple attempts to deal with the different viruses that have spread over the over the years in your career as a journalist could you address in general terms that will get more specific about how governments get tend to respond how the Chinese are in Hong Kong officials how they responded to some of the outbreaks that that you witnessed it always seems to sort of come in the same way there's always a sort of a denial of them but generally speaking tend to tend to happen internet especially now with the case I'm sorry the partners are similar sort of beginning in both those cases where you know it actually began stars began in southern China across the border in Hong Kong and there was attempts to hush up but you wouldn't really know what's happening fully until someone brought across the border to Hong Kong which you know is a globally connected city work there are a number of modern doctors and that's where it begins that that's where you get the actual response in full and at that point you do your best to continue identified river might have it sure quarantine or isolate them you look at how it might be spreading in the case of sars because it didn't it all else we didn't separate people's eight thousand around the world what the world ultimately you're able to treat everyone had able to contain it people to sort of figure out how to make it not spread in hospitals doctors and selectively stuff about there are no stars thirteen other very similar beginning there was comes just pops it up I think definitely important Chinese but you can't because of something that could be because of that and that's what we see in about mid January where so they're gonna reports of thousands of people second that's much Turner's government of the one eighty essentially starts moving everyone in the in the city on the problems with a another grisly around our country and the fact that didn't work you know tells you how tough those viruses to contain but you know there's always a sort of unwillingness to really take this seriously and you know whether it's because you're worried about the effect of the economy we were in a public parent you worry about your reputation as a leader and you know what we see is that with something as a contagious is this it doesn't matter if I can respect your desire which would go where you actually have to deal with that square which is what I think we're all trying to do now with the grief of success well the issue of transparency is central to what's going on now what's happened before the lack of it I guess you know a lot I was looking at China for how they've handled this if we've even seen a couple law firms in the U. S. file lawsuits are going to go after China for not being straight up with us and not containing it not telling the truth and you know there are a lot of factors that go into that political rivalries economic rivalries of fear of how how the rest of the world I guess would react but transparency would be one less and we should be able to learn from this you need to be honest with your own people and with the world wants one of these things breaks out absolutely you know I think we definitely merger we should know about before is that this is a truly problem where if you can jump on it quickly you can hugely minimize the damage that you have to double but what happened you know if if in some ways we doubled we've been able to contain this is the source of Chinese people complain about the source you wouldn't have organiser what touring the dollars in economic damages thousands of lives lost or does somebody by the end of this and you know ideally transparency is the way to go you know we and that means accepting that these things happen but that you can take steps to stop them you know we can also look into the dirt better ways to be looking for these things as they come out you know it's probably impossible to stop them from starting just the nature of human animal interactions such but if we're much better it's almost like a sort of the same way we have a consulting service look for threats security threats these are biological threats and we should be thinking about the farm and which will give them around the world all countries should Google connected in this way and then we should try to step into the soonest possible but that really not the case here even though again you know this is amazingly predictable you know it's even the nature of this virus and I ended up anyway so most of the pandemic simulation about four months before this happened and you know it's moving out tomorrow was also a corona virus like particle bit nineteen virus and spread in much the same way and so we we can't say we didn't know this was coming and it's disappointing to see really what happened you have you been in these Asian meat markets that have been described for all these species are jammed together with all kinds of people but yeah I have you know you know non phone actually before start they were still somewhat common you know it was an unusual talent ally chicken and other prepared a list of the people there eventually after stars the unlimited most of those clean those up but I haven't been there yet it's you know it's it's you couldn't imagine a better place for our subject matter imagine all the different species very close together you know it's not the sort of which three circular you think what you're seeing fluids like that you know and that's another lesson we should definitely take from us but these should be closed down there I understand there is critical for reasons for why they want the discord there the danger there also by the way you know a major driver of empty Undateables infections because often the rare animals that are being brought into this things like that you know so this is something I I would hope when this is all said and done you know that the governments in China and elsewhere take steps to really just eliminate that we we just can't afford any longer can help the user and the kind of modern vocalists on one would you guess that the closure of these meat markets that we've heard about in China and Vietnam would hold that the the rules stick after this thing is over I hope so you know I'm sorry you know it's it's it's hard to say because we've we've seen sort of reference to the call for them to kind of backtrack but I definitely hope so you know you can have changed over time with this is definitely less popular than it used to be you know as as sort of was more months ago markets come and things like that but I think you know certainly the Chinese government is capable of pulling off if there's a different once they can make that happen elsewhere in Asia would look the same so react I think it can't happen I think if that is the case that would go a long way towards reducing this risk somewhat of course you could also work directly with the board and and and for that matter Tribune which came out of Africa now it's let the market there has to be hunting in brewers and get out that way so there's always it's very difficult to eliminate the chance of this ever happen but certainly could take steps like that to make it less likely we're talking with journalist Brian Walsh author of the book end times brief guide to the end of the world about the the threat of pandemic so what we can learn from coke with nineteen the eagles how long take us into the break can the if you're one of the millions of Americans who are you thinking about selling your investments and getting out of the market right now hi I'm Rick Adelman with four quick questions before you do do you.

"Can't get pay per view on demand. You can only get via ESPN. So the structure of the deal where the champion or the top draws getting paper viewpoints has changed. That's one of the issues the Coleman event talk from a few weeks back another one of the issues, which they eventually got over. But then the opponent became a new issue who's gonna fight isn't going to be not as Dana white said recently in an interview with barstool sports that it's not going to be. I think all these things kind of led to Connor saying I am done. I'm tired of this in the world of boxing known tells the top star what to do who to fight went to fight all those things more. And I don't feel like, you know, I need to haggle over these things now important to note that the interview that aired with Jimmy Fallon on the tonight show Monday night was taped the week ago. So in that interview, he was a hinting at a return, but also hinting at some politics, but seemed to be in great spirits, great shape. But of course, that happened a week prior. So there's not a lot of a connection to be may between the interview and the timing of the tweet, of course, choose day. Afternoon. The New York Times reported that according to multiple sources Conrad had been arrested in mid January in Ireland after a woman in Dublin accused him of sexual assault. He has not been charged, and according to the laws in Ireland the press there cannot name someone who has just been arrested, but not charged. And so that's why you've seen these reports over the last couple months of unnamed sportsman famous sportsmen in Ireland who was arrested, but Conner's name was never attached this according to the New York Times that person is Connor McGregor. This is a very fluid situation developing situation based off the comment from Connors spokesperson, Karen Kessler, the retirement has nothing to do with the allegations with the New York Times story. But obviously a lot happened to Conor McGregor on Tuesday. And so there's a lot to discuss as far as his future is concerned. And so with that in mind, let me say Hello to my colleague over at ESPN, the great Brett Akimoto who's joining us, ROY. Now on the phone to talk about all things Conor McGregor. Brett, how are you? Yeah. I mean, you know, his his spokesperson came out and said that directly to you. You know, it's denied that anything to do with it. Yeah. What's up aerial? We have plenty plenty to the sponsors. You just laid out. Yes. I wish we were talking about a fight on July sixth. "Boy, so great to talk to Jason Piccolo. You'll really spent years finding out what's really going on at the southern border. Nice to have him on America transit back soon. Reminds you coming up. We're going to talk about the life apparel Channing from one polar opposite to the other. Right. She passed away this week at the age of ninety seven after just a huge contribution to American entertainment, and our friend of the show, Jeffrey, Mark, he is the author of a biography about the legendary Ella Fitzgerald. Well, that's his latest book. He did one on Ethel Merman Lucille ball hazy ultimate showman himself. And he's our show biz expert. He's going to be a long we're gonna talk about the life and times of Carol Channing. But right now, we are so glad to welcome back. Our friend of the show Brandon struck you probably heard about the hashtag walkaway campaign. This happened just sort of throughout twenty eighteen is Brandon had a sort of realization that something wasn't quite right. And he's got a big. Big announcement for this weekend. Brandon. Welcome back to America trends. Thank you. Very nice Jesse. So wait about this time last year. Mid-january what was going on in your life? Well this time last year. I was probably like my head was exploding. Because I was started. Let's see let's see I was starting to realize that this is something was very wrong as you said I was. Yeah. It's hard to remember. It's hard to remember. But I've been. I've been a conservative. Yes. Okay. So I've been a conservative now for about a year. Sorry. It's got my years mixed your life democrat. So here you started. But it was throughout the year because it doesn't just happen necessarily just one moment. Right. That's right. Okay. Yes. So after the election of two thousand sixteen that I've started to wake up. So I was thinking in my mind, January two thousand seventeen it was a couple of months after President Trump was elected was when I started to realize that something was wrong, the Democratic Party, and that's sort of this abolition change began in me where I started to wake up to the truth about the liberal media wake up to the truth about the Democratic Party. And ultimately, I walked away over the course of the year that I started you then become a Trump supporter, and now I actually am a registered Republican, I consider myself conservative. That's right. It was a year ago at this time here pretty much a unicorn, and you know. With you last. We've picked up a lot of affiliates on you to America TV network. And we're in a bunch of new countries now on biz talk radio. So can you tell us a little bit about I love this story about how you were sounding off on Twitter and social media as we all do saying, how can these people elect President Trump when the media tells me he does this that and the other, and then you had a friend step in and say Brandon have you seen this? Right. So that would have been around around this time two years ago. I was on social media, and I was posting, you know, I'll never understand how people could vote for a man who mocked reporters disability before cheering crowd. And that was finally, but host that dot somebody's attention a woman. I know who is a lifelong conservative. She ended up speaking out to me and saying listen, I know you're really upset about the results of the election. And I know that you've been ranting about this passed the months, I'm asking you have you seen this? And she sent me a clip on private messenger on Facebook. It was just a YouTube video entitled debunking that chop. Mark the disabled reporter, and it was essentially accomplishment footage of Donald Trump during that exact same voice left. Save gesture as he did that day when he mocked the reporters disability. But it was clear that this was just sort of a voice in a gesture like a bit that he does what he's imitating end, buddy. When they've been caught in a lie dishonest as that reporter was and that's what I started realize. Oh my God. The media is capable of lie completely lying greeting oppose the there. It is. Yeah. Go figure, and then it's just so neat though that someone in she said it in such a nice gentle way. I'm just asking have you seen this? And that and that goes a long way to tell us how we can talk to other people because yelling, we're not gonna get anywhere. It's been such a quite a year for you. As you you came out on social media saying this is happening. This is how I feel hashtag walkaway. Join me and people did you were largely ignored by the mainstream media accused of being a Russian bot. And then you had this huge wonderful March in DC. A couple months back. Yes. So we on October twenty seven we did the first of what will be many walkway marches on Washington. We did it right before the midterm elections. So yeah, it was great, and we proceeded it with a gala dinner the night before Trump International we had about thirty five hundred five thousand people came out to our March. And then we we had a closing brunch. The next day. It was it was a really amazing weekend. Particularly since like, you said the campaign at that point was only four or five months old, and we had gotten absolutely no coverage on our bark from the mainstream media. Thrilling extraordinary and one of the things that make you you're pretty you're very good and authentic on this video. You made saying exactly why you walked away. And now this Sunday you have a new short film being released. And that's what I want to ask you about tonight. How what is this? And how can we find it? This is going to drive nuts. Wait. That's what it is. Is this one obviously kind of fell into my lap. There's a patriot in the walkway campaign is neighbors might boss. He is a filmmaker. That's what he does. And she sent me an Email saying, I made this film. I'd like you to take a look at it. It was a compilation of footage. What he did basically was took the testimonial. The walkaway testimonial. Videos of black Americans not all of them. But he chose about twenty of them. And he took the footage any cut it into a thirty five minutes short film, and it's so much more than just a like a compilation video essentially, he's created a Derek with chapters. There's a chapter on indoctrination how the black community is indoctrinated into the Democratic Party. That said the tactics about the the ways in which they do that. There's a chapter on the KKK on Planned Parenthood on Trump on. On immigration and on faith and religion, all of these things. It is amazing. He's essentially created like a documentary using these testimonials, so we're billing as the world's first document, doc Montiel's short film, and we're belive broadcasting it on Sunday night. It's a watch Marty with an invitation that goes out to the whole world where we're inviting the whole world watched by this Sunday at eight PM eastern on YouTube on Facebook on Twitter, and people can just remember the handle at US minority to go to Twitter or Facebook and just couldn't at US minority. That's where you'll find it. If you go.

"Welcome back. Welcome back. I'm David Hollander. I'm the sand, man. And today we are talking about tax reform this new tax laws been touted as a huge game changer for American business tax payers, but the question is is it really going to deliver his promise, but could this new tax law be loaded with surprises that are going to have an impact on your Bank account. And seems anytime there is a sweeping change, particularly when it comes to these new forms. Everyone goes into some kind of a frenzy to figure out how to navigate all the new rules and not get hurt. And as we go through this. There seems to be a lot more surprises in this new tax law now effective, then the mass medias reporting yet, so you know, it's mid January. We figure as part of the boot camp we're gonna get prepared for taxes early because this painful stuff as we know, and you probably don't wanna think. About it for a couple of months, but hey, you know, what I want to get ahead of this early? And so I thought today what I would do is I would bring Marc Dingle. He's a CPA works in our office to help us figure this out because I was incredibly surprised as I started pulling up. These new documents were supposed to fill out. I was blown away by how complex they look. So good morning, Mark. Thanks for being here this morning and helping us figure this out. Morning. So Mark, I'm just I'm just curious this this new card. First of all the size. It's kind of weird. That's creek postcard postcard. So this is like something I would mail them, my mom, if I was over in Europe or Afghanistan or something and say, hi, mom. Yeah. It's a card. That's correct. So it's got a space for my name, and my social security, and my spouse's name and her social security and my kids and my address, but then I'm supposed to sign it. That's just the front of postcard. Well, what happens next where do I go next? So then you flip the postcard. And that's where you start reporting the income. Okay. I see but still it's so small. That's correct. So they basically took everything off of the ten forty and they created six separate schedules. Oh, okay. Well, help me understand. Would that be because I'm looking at the back of this thing, and it says wages? Okay. I can put that that's kind of obvious, right? My interest from my immunity bonds in my IRA, distribution and my social security benefit. Okay. Great. But but then it kinda gets weird again. So then what what do you mean? What is so for people who just have those sources of income independence? Yeah. They're just gonna need the postcard. Okay. Everybody else is going to need some of the schedules to support it before they even get to schedule. Like all of our clients who have their own businesses and things like that. That's correct. Okay. So then we go to the next page, which is okay now, I see so the different schedules here. This is for everybody else. Basically. That's correct more complex. Get on a little card. So Mark, how do we figure this stuff out? What should somebody? Do. You should not be doing. Okay. So they should seek the help of a professional. That's correct. A lot of people try and save a couple of hundred dollars every year, and they're oftentimes missing planning opportunities and with the massive changes, particularly in the forms..
