I think it was more like but it was like barely a four price was like right around there and i was like <hes> even if he just goes up on reading point and he'll make a boatload of money but i but i knew how much danger he was in but i also knew that it was the slip inside likely coming up but i didn't know for sure like arms rbis all right. I asked how you would rate the episodes would be brother this week. That got a six average rating bit higher from last week. How would you rate the feeds a six point two once again. That's about a about a point higher than than last week a half-point higher and then how would you rate the season as a whole so far five point five. We have passed the halfway point here. We're above a five people have spoken and they love it. The season is being redeemed. The season is above average. They asked you to rank the players from your favorite to your least favorite now. Nicole has been in the lead for the last past six weeks or so but this week cliff stole the lead from nicole a ah eight point zero eight average on cliff eight point zero seven on ecole very very tight race for first place but cliff is going to clinch it <hes> have to imagine that has to do with nicole's boneheaded move on the eve of the vixen then we get to third place which has historically been cat cat no longer in the race so holly is going to take up that position and following holly. You're going to go down n bb history as having just phenomenal h._o._a. Mid season you know you put the big <unk> targets up and going home <hes> wonderful. I applaud you and she's confident that jack who's gonna go home netzer target. That's what she wants to go home last episode. I was saying the logic behind that is that jackson is a bigger target and so oh you get rid of jack now because he's more of a threat differences between a threat and a target the well. I got myself confused but it's gonna make sense. I felt like i was on the verge of making really good point there. So the <hes> the the bigger target is you got a bigger target on his back so everyone's gonna be gunning for him but the bigger threat is the guy who can go further in the game. That's trying to say and i think at this point sir mickey jackson is the bigger <hes>. I have my logic associated. I'm in. I had it twice and i've lost twice. It's been a long night good night but along night so anyway. Jack is up against his former bromance. <hes> showman's romance manses could there be in the house but if there was a foot fetish and it was a tow manse all right. That's it's all i got so mickey goes into the d._r. Has put on a costume for the punishment that he won <hes> in the last competition and and it's <hes> alien autopsy so every time <hes> there's an announcement the house he has to run to the backyard and do not topsy on an alien figure at that explodes every time sometimes it's reds and greens yellows blue and it's another one of these finger like it happens all through the day all through the night and there is a a good video clip package of just like explosion on explosion on explosion. He was in the shower once and they called him and he was like come on really yes. Yes really go. Do your alien autopsy. It was so a full twenty four hours of doing that. He said guys like bob ross original but you don't i mean i understand that's probably the only name any painter that you know which is kinda lame in itself but you don't all right look like laming not a person at saint elaine <hes> to the very end fully clothed in his lab coat. He falls into the pool and it finally it seemed kinda like tencent's had <hes> tensions had shield a little bit in house with this because people were watching and they were kind of cheering airing on and so maybe you know people are starting to turn a corner. They're not turn the corner too much because i do still want all these alvis to be at each other's throats. Now jack also won a punishment so the jack in the mickey not only on the block. Both of them got punishments. He wakes accepted mullen. I as going out to the kitchen. I guess it goes kinda strange because it's all night vision and it was kind of like where's he wisey waking up. Where's he going and and lo and behold in the kitchen area an alien appeared and he was wearing a green outfit and i feel like it's the same actor that they use all through the season different seasons who'd he's very good at yelling at making noises and you know keeping keeping <hes> annoying while while he's there <hes> so he's supposed to be studying jack and finding out what it means to be a humanoid and and really he just a big al was his name gal the alien just yells a lot and then he does get laugh right now so he <hes> take a watermelon and he's like how do we how do we open this in jacksonville. He could take a knife and then he slams slams watermelon down and just in the kitchen and it explodes everywhere. Expose like oh mickey is gonna be so mad who cares making within. He's dump and <hes> pasta on the floor. He's like how how many pieces does it take to make macaroni and dumps on the floor. Then <hes> jack jack starts actually counted he dump cereal on jack's head in a whole bowl jug of milk. It was a treat to watch. I gotta tell you i think the my most favorite thing to jack has his tattoo on his left. <hes> equatorial and it's one of those it looks like a sticker that says hello my name is and and the guy wrote stupid and so he sargon jack stupid and it reminded me from the flintstones there was a little character who would call fred and he was a little alien boo call fred dum dum dum dum like that and it was very stupid obeyed that kind of thing and <hes> but then you know like they're hanging out d._r. Like it was it was a treat of a package. I'm not gonna lie. <hes> and jackie said at this point is the only my only friend in the house. He's the only friend i have so might as well take what i can get so then the six remember the six six shooters the six shooters as i call them. 'cause i'm still waiting tommy. Jack sis christie golly. They're in a room together and they're kinda lamenting that at all how bad this the whole situation stinks and they're upset and they're sad <music> and tommy's like you know we don't have to like each other but we still have numbers and if we wanna keep moving in this game which try to fix this mickey is in the kitchen and cliff says to campaign. I'm sorry i did because you remember what ended up happening was jack had her know mickey had heard that christy and tommy were gun and against mickey and jack so mickey toll jack this information and then jack immediately went and told christy and tommy and this is kind of where everything started to fall apart and break apart and so jack up their mickey's. It's kind of kind of apologizing. I guess but he <hes> also won't take any responsibility for his actions is is like a four year old is anything and he gets kind of. I think christie was talking to him and trying to be like yeah. Well you know this stuff happened but you also did this this and he's like i'm not going to sit here and let you put words in my mouth these like i feel like he saw little welfare apy little medication. Maybe like data sneak. Stop toxic masculinity. Toey helen reddy pretty toxic mickey. Lindsey doesn't work at all but you know what i'm saying so because christie's points. He's like maybe what people are apologizing advising. You know maybe you should think about some of your issues and some of your involvement in the whole situation now. No no no no says mickey we have jack sis nicole. Nope sorry texas and nick or outside and jack. Is you know working to get the votes was to stay and nick psych. You've got my vote. You've got my vote and then jack moves over to cliff in the vote room and there's a lot of wheeling and dealing going on a lot of working together and <hes> jack offers clip a really good deal that would keep cliffs safe for a long time in the game includes like i'm gonna have to sit on it. I'm gonna have to think about this so yeah. But how about this. How about so you think about this. Our sponsor segment is up now. I am shelby. Quin your best friend. "All right well there was that so now we're back so jack catches a couple strawberries and he's like we gotta keep on this plan to back door. Semi Final Score Christie Tent Jack Ten cliff zero can't zero Nicole zero and there's a little bit of build up to Sam's last person and how did he do twenty one and he's very excited. He's in the confession room and he's like I'm so excited. I can't even week that so nick and Jack are trying to get <hes> Sam to take cliff off of lock and their whole angle is you're like man that poor guy just needs a break. You know he's really been thrown under the bus his whole season and cliffs like you're right Erin. I gotTA take them off. He doesn't deserve it. He's a dad is like me so <hes> Nick and Jack doing a good job there then we're up in the room and Mickey's like we can't get cocky. Here's the order for the next few weeks away. I think it might be <hes> the Jason Mimosa who says the order next few weeks Kimmy Jessica and then Lovie Chemi is reason is she gained too hard too early says the guy in the Personal Lions Jessica has potential to win an accom- that's his reason for getting rid of her lovie. He's just too smart now. Here's an interesting thing on the last episode the <hes> the order that they wanted to get them out in was cat Cami Jess Nicole cliff lovie Sam to lovie was way farther down the list but in a span of a couple of days he has moved up to number three with a bullet <hes> <hes> now Kristie is super bent. She is not happy because she doesn't like the Jack is he's running the show. He thinks he is at least right. He's dominating the planning. He's telling everybody what they're supposed to do. And there's a ton of of crying going on with her. In a second here we go out to bill and nick who seem to be developing a little friendship there in the hammock outside and they're kinda scheming and Bellas really kind of lane and she's like. I think we should keep coming. I really feel like we should keep coming. I like Kenny Kenny Smyth POW. She hasn't done anything. There's no reason for me to go home and we'll see what we can do. So nick goes up to kind of petition to Kemp to <hes> he goes to Christie to try to keep him in the game and Christie is eating. I think it's cereal so loud like mouth open crunch crunch. You do have a microphone before on you so I understand. It's going to pick up some noise but keep them out shot. It's it was it was it was tough for me to watch all right and I want to hear he creeps me out. I discovered and then Christie after nick has on tour trying to keep the Kimmy and she starts to freak out visas this where the tears come in and Jack's like stick with your heart he true to your word and Christie's not enjoying any of this because he's trying to peer pressure. He's trying to manipulate relate earned it sending kimmy home and well. There's really no reason to send cameo <hes>. She's not a threat at this point in the game. She's by herself like I don't. I don't like it. I don't like the optics I don't know why we're ascending Kimmy <hes> but so then Christie starts crying and she's talking to Tommy and she's like it's too soon back door kimmy to back door anyone. That's going to put too much blood on my hands. That's GonNa get me sent home. Mom doesn't want Sammy's veto at all and how can we get them to not use it and then Nicole comes in and Christie's still crying and she's like Oh. That's why she tells to Christie tells <hes> that comes in a second so Christie she tells the coal that she's while still crying. I don't know what to do. Checks manipulating everyone and Nicole's like trying to comfort her makerfield better but her little cut away line was mostly interest Sante which I feel like is amazing amazing thing to say because essentially Christie is saying hey there's this big group of people. Jack is running the show right now so there's information being given out and then Christie still crime goes to Sam and the locked H H tweets room she makes a big deal that it is a locked room and she spills the beans <hes> to Sam on Jack. The Jack is running the whole show and he wants to back door kimmy and Sam's like what what and so then <hes> Christie's like. I don't know Oh you know. Maybe we have to put up Jack. Maybe that's something and Sam was. He could see he was just like. Do you think we have enough votes to get rid of Jack. That would be an amazing move. Get rid of him. Get him out of the House. It's a completely different house gray. uh-huh and then somehow obese name comes up and Christie's like well no but you know he's smart. He's playing seems like he's playing with everyone <hes> and you know and playing at the same time so maybe we just put over here aw and I was like I wrote it on CASS. I wrote Ono not lovie. 'CAUSE I like lovie. Slice go to veto meeting. Sam Uses it on cliff takes off the block cliff is now safe and then Lo and behold lovie goes up you know and she throws out the whole. You know it's it's not I you know I love you lovie type of thing but he's like cool. I'm on the block route. Glad you love me. I'm on the block. He also says you know in the confessional. This stinks I'm up here basically first week I can't even use the nightmare power that I got it supposed to keep me safe the first six weeks and he can't which is just frustrating them by imagine and then it flashes over to Jack and he's like come on Christy. We've really got to work on our communication skills chills. If something like this happens again. I don't know I don't know and insist like Bro. Chill with the bro all right Bro. You're brown a little too bro and Bro. put the Bro a put in the bro Cabinet putting the laws and just bro- broke down a little bit and it's an interesting initially when I first came into this season and it may turn out to be this way but I thought that Mickey Jackson Jackson was going to be playing the part that Jack is actually playing and I thought Jack seem like he was gonna be a little bit more low quieter and stuff but oh I was so wrong so very wrong all right. If you <hes> wait a minute what's what's this. We have a message. Let's see what it is. I didn't even know about this. Hold on one second. Oh Yeah Hey this is me leaving a message for <hes> me just to see how this whole thing works. Keep up the good work. You're you're doing a great job. I want you to know.

"Partnerships. Whether it's with trade shows or. And certifications that are carried on Saddam products. Not getting to those audiences on a lot of awesome online appetizing. Actually, capturing these brands where they are which is which is typically online. Yeah. Okay. So let's dive into partial he didn't really share. You said a lot of wizardry which he didn't share with us yet. So I'm gonna wanna grill you on some of those little secret tips partnerships partnerships. I know that you're really good at building relationships and learning how to leverage those relationships to build a team. Yeah. Partnerships. How you doing that? Partnerships come to mind, if you think about emerging brands will there's a company for example called cycle up help emerging brands get funding. So we partnered with them where a lot of their their brands that contact them or actually get funded now about range made to put their products on to get promoted and get in front of retailers and a lot of them have actually had great success and other partnerships is emerging brand section at Nielsen. For example, we today a knocking partnership with them where a lot of their new brands and emerging brands found out about range me and actually. Great success because as a brand and retail ready, but that doesn't help the person listening right now. That says I'm an aspiring entrepreneur. I'm an entrepreneur great, you figured out partnerships. But how do I go out and make those partnerships? You've got to think about who else is touching your your tiger consumer. So what else are they using? What else do they need? So who has the distribution? Yeah. That I could benefit from. Yeah. But then how do I get them to pay attention to me? Glad value to them. Typical values if I guess in the case of range me, we're actually offering their constituents supplies nothing. A benefit. I mean, the fact that we know that a product that was referred to one supplies. It's gonna be in two thousand seventeen on the shell at a major chain store. It's huge and how much credibility does that partner? Get for actually that referral. Okay. And so what is step one? Do. I what do I find these people? Yeah. You have to build your business. You have to get to the state where you have a few clients critical mass. And then you actually have enough behind you with a story to tell you again. Yeah. You're already successful. Then you go out, and you can figure out mutually beneficial relationships where either a you both simultaneously add value each other or be what's happened. A lot of the time. You have to add value. I and hope that with good faith and goodwill. It will come back to you. And these people will say, hey, you added value you've made a deposit on us now will add value back to you. I think in the best scenario, it's when you both can benefit the same at the same time. So what I found a businesses, you know, people typically think of networking as who is the best person at this event or this association of this group or this organization that I can get something for my who's the best person here. I can I I should talk to because I can get something from guests and I flip networking on its head. And I look at who here could I add value to and make a deposit in that when I put value in them like a Bank account. I add a deposit into their account it will build interest that later I can benefit from. And so, you know, it's kind of like partnerships. Look at who you can give value to don't ask for anything in return. And ideally, you're getting to the right people. That's the key. Not just getting everybody. You find the right people rather than saying to ask for help. I'm to add value to them. I'm going to deposit in them and later that's going do it interest. And I can ask for something later. And if you do that enough times it does come back. You may have made a deposit and fifty people one hundred people maybe only ten of them come back to you. But I think in my experience personally, you know, you can have a very successful business. Like you've been able to do structuring these partnerships. But it does come down tatting value. I, and I think a lot of people make a mistake thinking, well, who's the best person? I should go and ask something from now, you have to be able to give the I believe was typical is the best way to guard. But I think that you need to be able to show them the badly that you can give to them. And a lot of times people aren't in a position where they can add is a proportion if you're a small company, it's a big company like screw you. He was gonna chance across landing mutually beneficial one hundred million or a million dollars a year one million. And so in some of those cases, you have to say, look, we're going to do all of this for free. We're gonna provide our services for free based on XYZ if this happens, then we talk about doing something where it's mutually beneficial. So a lotta times I think that's something that needs to happen. Mickey Jackson is joining us. She's the CEO and founder of ranging. We're here to inspire inform and connect a community of entrepreneurs Mark lack on Business Rockstars on to talk about social media. Do you guys use it all we do? We use Twitter. Lot linked bit. A bit of Facebook as well because they Smolen emerging brands products, and that's. A lot of time. Yes. We did a lot of social media as well. So. The small companies are finding out about you in there and are those where the people spires five minutes. They're coming on every five minutes. I'm just confused. How are you getting every five minutes? Well, we we also help the retailers we work with manage. The inbound proposals about whole foods knock at target Petkov. View we help manage the inbounds full. They by our platform, and that also helps and feel the glass, so do they just send you like a list of a thousand and then you just break that down and it's like every five minutes. No. So basically, they literally send you consistently like nonstop. Or is it like a here's a chunk like here's here's a thousand suppliers. You guys are gonna to him for us. What we do is. We actually if you go to their corporate websites or their social their supplier portals he'll same from action about range me managing the new product submission process. An example, if you go to a local store, like a whole foods story say that your new innovative supply wanting to get in front of the category buyers, you'll be given collateral which will talk to how you actually indulgent products up into range me to to actually access the right category. Bias unique technology technologies. Wizardry algorithms and clever ensured a filters and preference. Which ensure the matching is ideal for that category. And also for the supply tonight show that we ultimately setting sides. So is your strategy of preeminence, the differentiates you from anybody potentially competing against you. Is it the as you refer to it as the wizardry the algorithms and the coating on the back end. Yes. Got an awesome class tech team who are building out. These features to really streamline the discovery process for this category buyers and make sure that we are presenting to the by the best possible product mix that meet their objectives and that category assortment plans. Okay. And so it sounds like you had to raise money for business. I mean, you guys have had a lot of success pretty early on. So can you disclose the amount of money race? And I wanted to close the amount of money reappraised because we won't private about that. But I would say that we've been we've been able to attract the attention of incredible investors and advisors alike. So just by way, of example, one of the investors in out in out early around was. The co-founder price as their bras. Bright dang is an adviser to us an investor as well when he was one of the first advisors to and still is what's very close with Oba managed to attract a lot of weight talent, a lot of great and investors as well. We're very prominent and well respected and well nine in San Francisco, if you could go back and talk to yourself, and your I your business. What would be maybe one or two pieces of advice and Shirley stuff because whatever that is. It's probably beneficial for the people listening to us about what they should probably be aware of. Yeah. For myself. There's a lot of things, but I want to hear from you. What's one or two things? I think the challenges you surround yourself by people. So you mentioned all the stakeholders, and you get so many mixed opinions about what you should do. You should be doing. That is probably the one of the most difficult thing as I look back, and I'm sitting in this chair now that you really have to you have to hear everyone and listen to what they say digests it. And then think okay? Well, what is right for this business in the next quarter in the next six months in the next twelve months, and so part of your role as a CEO and found I is trying to distill all these ideas old oldies thoughts, all these recommendations advice and really create the right path forward with a strong leadership team behind you. So that's what you would go back and tell yourself. Yes. I would be saying like. No that that's going to happen. Because in the very beginning. I can't surround yourself as many people as you can. And then what I realized is that moist. Surround yourself with people at sometimes can base you really have to pick and choose the right people. And I have been so fortunate to find the right people who have been honest fair, and who you can be honest with which is the most important. And I think the other thing is open minded because you never know who that person sitting next to you at a conference. Never know what they're gonna do. And I have an incredible story about my first few months in the United States sitting next to someone who now says to me Mickey at the time. He probably thought I was like a gray. Head guide is trying to talk to you. And he has been he's an industry vet veteran in the retail space. Very well networked and has been incredible in opening opening doors and truly believing in range me as a platform and a product to shake up the industry and improve a lot of process, and this is someone who has been in retail for the last action, but probably like thirty forty years, and it's very well respected. And he was talking to me, and I was open minded across talk to him in line as much as I can from him. And and he said swing today. Like, he probably thought I you know, when I was trying to talk to you didn't even know who I was. And I think that's the most important less than is keeping her mind. Don't speak to people because you just never know. Vicki pleasure. Having on the show. Thanks so much for having me. Thank you.
