The 7 Best Hacks for Your Facebook Ads

"Super committed to your success online. We've worked with them to a special offer. Just remarking school listeners, all you have to do is go to dream host dot com slash marking school to learn more and get your website online today. Welcome to another episode of marketing. Skoll I'm Eric Su and I'm Neil Patel and today. We're GONNA. Talk about the seven best hacks for your facebook ads, so go first the first one around facebook ads is. I have been loving same with my team. Do the offer that we're pushing right now. We just love looking facebook library facebook. Ad Library I also at the same time. I like looking at what ads people running on Youtube and Google us into a call at beat for that, but by doing this competitive analysis or even looking at people are not direct competitors I get a lot of ideas and the ideas that I get their super important based on how facebook ads are designed, because the one thing that matters the most is your creative, and so if you can get. Get ideas from people that are running a lot of creative. It's GonNa save you a lot of time, and it's hopefully going to help you move faster. This requires a little bit of work, but if you rotate up your creatives, really really often like I'm talking about Multiple Multiple Times a day while you'll find is when you upload a new creative within the first few minutes. Jason tries to push more traffic to it to see how it does. Clicks tend to be cheaper impression. Send to be cheaper and then normalizes that you actually credit on the campaign and keep switching. Very very often. What you'll find is right when you switch him up. The numbers tend to be a little bit better number three so I mean people talk about. They've been talking about messenger out for the last couple of years we've had Mickael from many chat on the leveling up podcast before, and they're doing really well crushing mobile monkeys doing well and. FACEBOOK MESSENGER ADS. Depending on the business that you're in to be able to engage with people to drive ads towards your facebook, messenger bought and to be able to help them based on what they're looking for the segment people that's powerful, so I, still think not a lot of people have tried it i. still think it's worth look again. You can use a tool like many, or you can use a tool like mobile monkey. Number Four. Take your check page. Anyone who doesn't convert creative video talk not what it would be like to be a customer whether selling your product or service showed an video. You can even have customers on their with video testimonials edit the video pop it up as a remarketing ad, it'll be one of your heart is converting ads out. There works out well cool and similar to that thinking about when you're doing facebook guides I like retargeting people with even more content right so what I mean. mean by that so for us. Let's say someone visits ourselves marketing page so instead of telling them to convert directly I give even more content on it right so I spend maybe could be five to ten dollars a day. Trying to its elegant, we have a lot of people that reached page will use a daily unique reach option, and so we're gonNA reach unique people each day, and then they're just getting more impressions. They might not necessarily click on our ad, but the impressions count right because. Because we talk about the rule of seven, maybe be the rule fourteen, but you want to get as many impressions as you can on these people, so we're not spending a ton of money, or we're sending even more relevant content at ten dollars a day off SAS content targeting people that have reached maybe a middle, the funnel page or bottom of the funnel page, and then we're just constantly staying top of mind so whenever they're ready, they can take an action right, but it's look nowadays you. You already know people have landed on that page. You might as well take full advantage. I'd just be everywhere on facebook. ADS are a great way to do that. Number six celebrities tend to convert better than not using celebrities go to cameo, a handful of celebrities to

"So that you get some leverage like offensive linemen defensive lineman try to do the battle in the trenches do you remember the one place where Mickael Moore was running down the the floor it just kind of broke down into a catcher's stance they Nick ran over it or if you didn't quite run over but slowed me down for wanting the floor so what Pelosi is that these guys try to take the next step in port besides it is we can spread out of the ball games and they'll do it by getting low by using the lower body as leverage to push the other thing they did practice yesterday is when the guards rebounding drill the guards and they had three managers with the football pads popping up as they were trying to go for a rebound so they're trying everything they can to prepare for what is going to be the most physical game I've seen in this building I think this season and equal to maybe the one down at Auburn for a while if McLemore those guys are all very very physical they're not afraid to foul out Bruce pearl's got a big deal if you just give me what you could get very involved with somebody else but he'll move those guys around Kentucky and Auburn are meeting for the one hundred and sixty time here today the Wildcats lead the series ninety four to twenty one but offers one the last two in a row they've never beaten Kentucky three times in a row here in Lexington it is dominance for Kentucky forty eight wins in fifty games Auburn's last win here was in nineteen eighty eight coach with Sonny Smith who's just down press row is the analyst on the Auburn radio network ten time they met with both of them are ranked and in those games Kentucky is seven and three against the Tigers well the starting line up we come back here in the UK sports network Kentucky basketball is brought to.

"That that was kind of the armament or that okay. Maybe this group is not that large. But it's definitely voting and they absolutely love our product. It's helpful this is the square one. Show it today. Our guest comes from clear across the world in Armenia. His name is Mikhail Khachaturyan Chatrier. CEO of wire stock that I. Oh It's a stock agency where you can upload one place and sell your photos on multiple content places like Shutter Stock Adobe Stock Doc and much more boy found them after uploading my own stock photos to multiple places and realised how cumbersome and time consuming it was in. There has got to be a better way than this so I kept looking but I didn't see the solution. I was looking for until someone from wire. Stock contacted me about the platform now. Oh I could upload my photos to one place quick and simple and they would keyword and tag them and send them to all the major stock agencies. The saved me hours of my time. Name and the Hassle of Keyword in each photo just takes so much brainpower to that well. They were quick to respond to my questions and I was very impressed with what they were doing and how they were problem solving and how nice they were. Someone had found a simple solution to one of my pain points. Isn't that what we're trying to do right so it was telling Dave we really need to have them on our show. I think they have a great story behind what they're doing and I reached out in the CEO. Mickael got back to right away and said yes. I'd love to be on your show. So in today's episode you'll get to hear more about Mikhail his background and how they're providing solutions and helping creatives create and they can save time doing all the administrative ministration stuff. Here's our conversation with Mikhail. So so what is your background and then As more like technology or or finance maniac. Yeah I was more that I would. I would always had I was always passionate about mathematics and art. Statistics saw. Aw when I was going to school I sort of had this focus on statistics and not the matic sending I got to finance. I started my career at in finance more specifically like trading and and portfolio portfolio management. And things like that. I realized it was to kind of Board created for for my personality Sorority. Yes I got into technology more and like product development very early on in my career so so you have black kind of creative and scientific brain at the same time going there right. Business Technology like Like scientific statistical mind in a way. Well it's fascinating looking back at your story and knowing that you have kind of that creative brain in mathematics brain and you ended up starting wire stock completely make sense right for that time when we time when we we got into a stock photography specifically because we were like like I said we I mean we always loved shooting photos and You know teach inch Creating content when we're traveling and college but like when we got into the business side of stock photography specifically's when am One of my co founders had this man social dating application back in the day We had to buy a lot of stock content. Like we like it so we were promoting like off line Dates dating with our at. This was a few two years ago and we we had to a US stock. You know stock the content so we used to buy a lot of like A images of happy couples and so you had experience using that end of the the photography photography world. Yeah and requests come from. Yeah I mean we saw tremendous value in this kind of this kind of content. That you just click on a few buttons. You have a piece of content that you can use in your ad banner immediately in just a matter of seconds Keep in mind. This was two thousand sixteen and fifteen and we didn't have this three image download sites backing day. They are like super low quality so stock photography back down was second no brainer. You had to use it if you want to do affected marketing shooting fast so I know that the prices of stock of a jogger fear going way down Even you know twenty five cents here or ten sends their for someone to use a stock photo. So how as a creative. How do we take our time and recreate these beautiful images share them with the world world? How does that work supporting our family doing that? Or doesn't it. Do we need to find another job. Or how do we be creative. Make an income on family wise to support ourselves we promoted promote our service as an opportunity to earn. Ah Extra citing doing things that You as a creative person law with onto view it as a as a main in source of income for anyone at least at scale right I mean some people some race may be able to achieve it. If they open up studios and do it likes full time and focus on it but I think for most of for most of us stock photography can just be good weight Like extra extreme. Come doing things that you're going to do anyway. So yes I like now. And that's why that's why it's important to have a service wire stock that takes away all this adleman kind of word away and so you can. Just it's like okay. I have this contents I was gonna I mean I wanted to shoot. Some Christmas photo is now in my family whatnot. And then you just have this content and with a few clicks able to list it on this marketplaces and you're able to earn income. Where where the return on investment? It is more reasonable as opposed to doing it at all the way with all these websites. In all forms and nutcase return on investment. It's just a poor so that's our vision. Actually Yan Sen. What part of Your Business would you say your most passionate about? Are you I'm trying to provide that service or is it the the quality images of the art or like what is driving you Everyday when you go to build this business I think at the culture of our company and our team is one of my more problem solving with a touch of creativeness so we are sounds all we like to think of ourselves as problem solvers so when when we come to work we sort of come to work with the mission of solving real problem helping people achieve something at that they would otherwise not able to achieve saw we We have a very strong technical team. engineering wise. Half of our team. Are you know have background you engineering and we like to. We don't. I don't mind being challenged with enough sort of a difficult tech.

"But that's also really not a model that anyone can has has successfully been able to do in California politics before with speaking of, you know, big campaigns where you have to raise and spend a lot of money, right? You know, the entire model is different in California. So that is interesting to see California, try to change that the campaigning model is different to there's there's no retail politics in California. You just run TV ads, and and that will give it we'll see that in the in the primary, but at least in Iowa New Hampshire, and these these other early states, she has to change the way she campaigns. But I think as as you know, the this year started or even last year, she just spent a ton of money building Email lists and really trying to nurture that list. You saw. Her. I think be pretty judicious during the midterm elections about how often she would lend out that list, very protective of building it. And I think she has a pretty strong digital operation now to to be able to compete. You know, I I did want. I thought it was so interesting this idea that people have to maintain momentum with these lists. I guess the inverse of that is you talk to some of these lesser candidates or not top tier candidates who the idea of momentum for them means that they can hang around in the race longer. Because the the DEA that, you know, maybe not today, maybe not next month. But heck, maybe an October or November something could happen that would light a spark for them. It it lends this hope I think to a lot of candidates who might other was in a more traditional fundraising universe. Really see that. They don't have prospects right from the outset. But then, you know, if they get to a point where they hang around long enough that they catch fire like Rick Santorum did and in the twenty twelve. Republican primary or eventually Sanders did in in two thousand sixteen that if they have the infrastructure built at that moment. Then all the sudden, it's a, you know, all systems go. Yeah. Or even crazier than that. They look at you know, Aurora, and they say, well, we don't need to have any infrastructure. We don't need to have anything. We just needed to have a YouTube moment. And if it comes then I'll find somebody who knows how to TV ads. The other aspect of this though is to to have those moments to generate that kind of money, the the essential ingredient is authenticity. I mean, you just can't create a work. I think was able to to raise gobs of money was because there wasn't authenticity campaign. And it was the same thing about Bernie, no matter how you feel about Bernie or the Brady broS the campaign, or whatever there was an authenticity to his message that really fueled that campaign in fueled the online donations, and I don't know that that is a very easy thing to create. I agree with that. It's not a very easy thing to create the great thing about it, though is that it's it's easy to measure. And that's something we're going to be looking into a lot over over the next year as as a key indicator of who has momentum. And it's going to be an another kind of key piece along with pols, which are going to bounce around a lot, and and, you know, media mentions or or what have you that that we should all be keeping very close track of through twenty nineteen. That was excellent. Thank you so much for for being here. Elena. Thank you very much. David. Thanks. Jumped on the phone. Thank you. And they have to ask no wild kingdom moments this week. "Now, we gotta go back to the news. You know? I don't know what the main question is. It's open mic to mic Friday. You know? You know? And I I raised a number of issues today. Many of your calling obviously, and there's no defining these specific theme of the show. So I'm gonna just pick up the calls. We have one open line at eight five five four two one phone call. You know, I didn't get to one phone call that I've got to get to something here. It's about Maxine Waters. I had the guys research this. She's got the biggest mouth, and she's liable to become the gavel holder. But there's an article we found from March twenty seventeen entitled Maxine Waters isn't in any position to lecture on ethics Philip Wegmann Washington Examiner, and it goes back to the oh eight fiscal crisis. When Maxine Waters helped arrange a meeting between the treasury department and top executives of a Bank where her husband was a shareholder and using her post on the house financial committee as leverage she called Treasury Secretary, Henry Paulson personally, asking him to meet with minority owned banks. Well. When treasury follow through. There was only one financial institution present one United now had that Bank on under the New York Times reported Maxine Waters husband would have lost as much as three hundred and fifty thousand dollars. But luckily for the waters family, one United Bank received a cool twelve million dollars in bailout funds after three years of special investigations, the ethics committee eventually ruled that Maxine Waters didn't technically break any rules. But that ruling came after nursing her more than questionable family business practices, like making her grandson Mickael more her chief-of-staff, officially the committee ruled that Moore went behind the congressman's back to continue to lobby for special treatment at best this shows that waters runs a haphazard office at worst it suggests that Maxine Waters deliberately took steps to avoid prosecution. Well, now, you know, the rest of the story, and I suspect that when big mouth waters God forbid, you take over the house with a guy. Aval? I believe this banking scandal will haunt her every time she opens congress for the day. And that's the rest of that story. Don't forget it by the way. Maxine Waters isn't in.

Tell his story what he's currently doing to advocate for religious freedom in Iraq and address some of the concerns in some of these specific issues that Christians face in places like Iraq. Why don't you just get right into it? Just share a little bit about your background how you came to this place. And and what you're doing. That was Travis Weber from the Family Research Council where he's vice president for policy about to speak here. Mickael is from Iraq haven dot org. It is a project of in defense of Christians. He where he is the senior Iraq adviser. Thank you traffic. Also like to thank you for inviting me to speak here. Also, she's this opportunity to thank the Trump administration and the vice president Mike Pompeo for taking registry them seriously in State Department and the as well. Iraqi Christian I used to leave. I was born and raised in Iraq. I get involved in this show since two thousand seven previously used to work helping I was involved in in helping a lot of American soldiers something we used to host them in encouraged could've sound and guide them give them to guide and helping them. And so also I was involved in advisory group I was cleaning minefields in north of Iraq, forty villagers for the civilian people. So I got involved in in two thousand and seven I was part of a organization called the Calvin gazillion. Public council was founded in two thousand seven to address will just feed them each show on the plight of Christians, and what what we can do for the Christians after the removing Saddam Hussein because they faced a lot of tremendous challenges on the ground. So from there. One point one point five million in Iraq. And now they're number is being dropped down to. Two hundred thousand to three hundred thousand which is very sexy that on every day, we still lose tens of families because of the persecution because of lack of services security and other other things we came here in the United States in Washington DC, twenty fifteen to be part of voice for voiceless people in Iraq because what happened to them since two thousand and three till two thousand fourteen two thousand fourteen was big big think that ISIS attack the second largest city of Iraq muzzle, and also they ceased occupy the area, which called plane, Christian majority and other minorities used to leave. So when I was on the ground ISIS attacked overnight one hundred and fifty thousand families they fled to the north fast seizing security and shelter. And I was also part of being able to help thousands of families storing them finding. A place that they can stay somewhere until they find somewhere. So they can they can be secure and having a place to stay. I came here. And I'll become part of I defensive questions. I was part of it. We helped on.
