W bush ashley bavin whose daughter answered george bush's call and joined the us and fought in iraq in our air force and then protested on january six. You know she committed a crime of trespassing. She climbed through someplace. It wasn't supposed to and the capitol. Police shot her dead. No she tried. She tried to climb through but she was murdered. by someone whose name. I guess. We're never going to know you know what maybe general milley can do. He could do us a solid and go behind the back of the Current fake president. And maybe he could get that name to us because he's a stand up guy. He cares about america. She was shot dead by a capital police officer. For no reason she wasn't carrying seven. She wasn't threatening anyone. And here. George w bush. The man who in a sense lured her into the us military. She signed up because of his war on terror. Here he is equating. Ashley babbitt to muhammad atta and all those other filthy jihadi psych psych of ads who attacked our hometown. Just a fact about municipal elections is that They can change much more quickly than say a partisan election. you know. there's no republican. There's no democrat on the ballot. There's no kind of mental shortcut. People can take to where there's only one candidate that's anywhere near my as a voter my ideological space. So i'm definitely going to choose this one. Yeah a different take on the marvel universe well and it's like it's a card game you know so it's gotta be how combat but it's it's like a full on rpg two where you can you know. Every hero in the game has different abilities. And whatever like you can be defensive or protective whatever. And they're going to be lots of costumes and whatever but one of the things they've really honed in on his. You have these little side stories that you can do with like the different avengers like you take a walk with tony stark. In like get to know him better. I just think it's kind of like appreciate the fact that this like. Rpg hard name has like this extra layer of actual like role playing involved. But

I had been big fan of the marvel cinematic universe and You know it was it was it was fi like having a year to off of the. Mc you last year was really it really got me even more excited for what we weren't as he pays for and sure but shame she just because of the fact that it's it's ultimately a very different type of superhero. That were used to. It's not even though. There are some liberties i think in the origin films in terms of the type the different beatson themes that they touch on. I do think this is a very different type of story than what we have seen in marvel an mc origin stories. I think that's one of the things that really have excite me as well as some of the cast in this too. I mean we have young. Who's a legend. We have a michelle. Yeoh who's also eleven aquafina who's been one of the brighter. Spots in movies and smaller roles is bigger roles like the farewell and show is just very. I was pretty excited for this. And i get a chance to see it last week and It's funny we're recording this on the day that the reviews dropped the embargo was lifted. End so You can read my thoughts about on socks overall. "Market madness. These are the guys that wouldn't have to wait to get in the club. Home run over the road. Go with Boozer, fueling Yadi Air. Molina, Who is that guy in your city? Market madness continues as we move groups ST Louis He Sanjay will and Sylvan presented by progressive insurance. All guests join us in the Goodyear Hotline. Alan Hahn in Zubin by the numbers, 88 say ESPN candidate 79 3776 about market man. It's also about the question as the image and FL schedule was released yesterday. Is there a point in the season that you're looking at on this schedule? Because we all do it. He even admitted that players do it looking at the schedule. Maybe where he might be hitting the panic button. Or maybe that's when we make the quarterback change for your team. Today. It's eight years being in a 79 3776 best. We move around in market madness. We moved to ST Louis is, they said Michelle. Small men joins us. Right now. In the Goodyear Hotline, host of character and small men on one on one, ESPN ST Louis. Good morning, Michelle. Good morning, guys. Thanks for having me. Good to have you right. So in ST Louis, who are those three athletes that are right now the most popular Okay, So Sam loses a town with two major franchises both our beloved here, so both need to be represented on this list. So I'm going to kick things off with Blue forward Ryan O'Reilly coming in at number three since he came to ST Louis since 2018. He's been nothing but a star guys. He led the blues and scoring during that first regular season with the team and I can't stress this enough. The Blues were and last Plays in the NHL and Ryan O'Reilly helped propel them into the playoffs onto winning their first Stanley Cup championship in franchise history They lose had waited 52 years to win the Cup. They couldn't have done it without Ryan O'Reilly. You want a constant ice during that Family Cup final, he's won the Selkie season All Star. He's a police captain on this team right now. He's never buying another drink in this town. Any establishment he goes to. He's never pulling out his wallet. He championed the rhino Riley have got to be on this list. All right, okay. Coming in at number two, and this may be a bit controversial because he's only been encounter a few months. But Cardinal third basement Nolan are nado and people here even though he's only been here a little bit are crazy about knowing. Ah, Renato, he was that player that the Cardinals fan base always dreamed about, but they never really thought it was a reality. He was kind of like that crushed that you have that you creep on on instagram. You'll follow them, but they might pop up on the Explorer page. You know, you're always keeping an eye on him. Okay? Cardinals fans were always holding the flames. For him. And so when John was a lab pulled off the deal to get our own auto, he has been more than advertised. He came to families, which is hard, Burt hard to do for guys with five time All Star. He's 18 gold gloves and four silver sluggers. He's one of the best to ever do it. But I think the one example that illustrates how beloved no one are not already is here in San Luis is during the home opener, his first game of Busch Stadium this season. He had his first home run. It was the go ahead, two run homer, the Cardinals went on to win the game over the brewer's three to run 3 to 1. But ah, couple here in ST Louis was walking the game in the hospital. They were getting ready to have a baby and they saw this moment happened. They scrapped the name that they had meticulously planned out. They named their kid, Nolan. So I think if you're getting kids named after your first home game in town, you're not waiting in line at the club. So then, who's number one? Who's number one. Well, this is undisputed here in ST Louis. There's a lot of amazing athletes in count a lot of guys that are really loved. But the only person that could be number one on this list. It's Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina. He's Dr Resume. He's nine time All Star. He's 19 gold gloves. He's wanted Silver slugger. He brought two championships. Two World Series here thinking Well, it's 2006, Of course. 2011. This is a future Hall of Famer that we're talking about here. He's got the longevity. He's been with the team since 2004. And he is a guy that has tortured other fan bases for over 15 years. If you're on the opposition, you hate Yadier Molina. If he's wearing your laundry, you absolutely love him. But I think beyond his greatness on the field, what endears Yadier Molina to sample was so much that he is ST Louis Cardinals baseball. He's the face of the franchise. He brings this relentless intensity and fire to the game, and he rides so hard for our city, which is very important here in ST Louis, and I'm gonna give you a quick example. So, ah few years ago, a couple of Cubs Kris Bryant and Ryan Dempster. They were ripping on ST Louis. They called our city boring, real original guys. But yet you're Halina was the first person he jumped on Instagram and said that only losers make comments like that. And he did a little hash tag love FTL, and that makes you insignificant of some cities, but it's really important ST Louis So his loyalty to the city is something that makes him number one you got is the man. He is by far the biggest star in this town. That's the best kind of story to tell. And it's a great sports town and no doubt about it. But you know, the Cardinals are the team in that city, so it makes total sense. Michelle Thanks so much. Thanks for having me guys, you gotta they contain him from ST Louis to always rep in the city. Ryan O'Reilly, though I know the guys rightly, or I probably put in a second and dropped are not all right out of the way. But that story. That blue story is just ridiculous, but they were in last place during the season. There was the worst team in the league. Why you gotta do is get in. So while you ever have and look where you are destroying you gotta do is get in 18 80 years spent in the late 79 3776. Let's get some calls going here. Let's go to Patrick in Atlanta, Patrick What's up, guys? Listen, I'm getting frustrated because I wanted someone to tell me why Justin feels won't be the best quarterback in this draft. If not the worst. Maybe one, eh? Because if you think about it, he scored higher than anybody ever on the NFL Aptitude test 10 yards down the field or more. He was the best more or should I say the most accurate quarterback in the draft? Maybe Matt Jones might be barely above him. And in the NFL. He will be the third fastest quarterback in the league. And unlike summer, Lawrence he's going to and if he's going to a play off team And along the I guess he doesn't have keyboard throw too, But I mean, that would help leave it there. If that would help, attic that should have been you Drop the mic moment right there. That was perfect. What You just said to finish the call, but he might be the best quarterback. No. One. No one is saying that. He will not be. Could he be the one that has the most immediate impact more than 90% sent down every single year? Exactly. Every single year in the draft is always somebody write that has the story. Whether it's rising or falling or people question whatever the case is for many times many times over. Jake from BT Mounted, George. They will sell you on that to the cows. Come on. She could be out Jake from Miss top man. You and I both know he's better than Jake from. It's about the situation at Georgia, the coaches felt They wanted to roll Jake from doesn't mean that Jake from is bad. It's just what the coaches like. Doesn't mean just feels was bad. That's wide left in immediately became a star at Ohio State because he saw the writing on the wall. Now when you look at in the NFL He may go to many camps. Oh ta Light it up. May go to training camp in lighted up. And they still given not tow anti dog for a couple weeks or they may say I don't give a damn He has all the snap, crackle, pop..

"Michelle Small men from one of one ESPN and ST Louis is joining us to talk about on the Goodyear hotline. No. One air nado, who has joined now in a trade the ST Louis Cardinals, the Rockies are sending a Renato and $50 million, according reports to ST Louis for a host of players I haven't actually seen. The final report is to who Michelle. I assume I mean, there's probably they're very few places in America, where they care more about their local team than they do in ST Louis. So his ST Louis excited to get one of the top 5 to 10 talents in the league on the team next year. I think you nailed it when you said that. This is one of the rare places in the country where you can talk baseball 24 73, 65 and people care as much as they do, And I think a text I got this morning from a cardinal fan really describes the way people here are feeling somebody texted me this morning and said, I woke up. I went to ESPN dot com because I needed to make sure that I wasn't dreaming that this was actually real. And in fact, it is. But it was weird here in ST Louis. For a while. Fans were almost responded with the state of the team. They thought that the Cardinals were gonna remain inactive this entire off season. In the matter of 24 hours, the team goes out. They bring back Adam Wainwright. He was the best pitcher on the team last season. And is it obviously an icon and a legacy player here in San Luis, and they get the white whale. The player that favorite Cardinal fans have been lusting after for many years, and Nolan Aaron Auto, and as you mentioned, the Rockies are kicking in $50 million, and the Cardinals didn't have to give up any of their top five prospect. It's crazy. It's almost too good to be true. San Diego's on the rise. Atlanta's on the rise, The Mets are on the rise. The Dodgers of the defending champs. What is this move do for ST Louis? What in terms of the entail hierarchy where they had right now? That's a great question. And you're right as this offseason has continued on Cardinal fans were sitting by watching the Padres making love. Oh, they got you. Jarvis must be nice. All the mess. They're going to nab Francisco and door that must be nice. And even though the Cardinals had been inactive, they still had ah, pretty clear path to winning the NL Central. They run a post season last year. They were getting players back from injury, and it seemed like Could contend for the division. But you go ahead and you add someone like millenarian auto to this team. Ah, guy who clearly is going to help you defensively. He's an eight time Gold Glove winner. He's a five time all star. You know what he can do From the offense standpoint, that's your shares of your offense even more, and then we look at it. From an offensive standpoint, you're looking at potentially Dylan Carlson, who's their up and coming superstar hitting in the two hole, Paul Goldschmidt and then No. One Erin Otto. You're looking at a team that not only can clearly win the division, but definitely King content for a World Series. It seems that they're not a goddess, where she made it clear that he wanted out of Colorado. What is the divide in baseball right now between the teams that are looking to spend big and contend, and then everybody else it looks like they're willing to give up anybody and everybody. That's interesting because I think no one ever not a look at a situation where he signed that deal with Colorado, and it's clearly a place he wanted to stay. But then the team didn't build around him. And this is someone that once Too. When he's made that very clear. The situation almost has shades of the Shawn Watson in it, where he signs the deal, and then things kind of crumble around him. And there was a lot of tension between he and the Rockies front office there, general manager Just write it, but Hold out into the public, and he made it clear if I'm not going to win here. I want to win somewhere else, and ah lot of teams, especially coming off the pandemic season. Don't have the capital. You acquire a player and a contract like millionaire in auto, and that's something that the Cardinals have gone back and forth on for many years. They had wanted a Renato even before he signed that contract, But I think as the tension continue to go on the asking price evolved over time, and it seems like the cardinal to our mid market team and who are missing that gate revenue that they heavily rely on after a pandemic season. Real life the past year and that this is potentially a deal that could pull off and they went for it. So while there are teams who can't spend big, like the Met or the Dodgers, I think there are other teams like the Padres and the Cardinals that trust their core, and they see a specific opportunity and they're going to go forward as well. Obama Cardinals fan. I'm over the moon with this transaction, But I do have to ask. What's the concern level regarding the fact that Aaron Nado before time Silver slugger is entering his age 30 season and has had numbers propped up by playing it course field. He's not gonna have the luxury of 81 games at altitude anymore. I think if any other fan base were to have that question posed at them, they might be concerned. But the Cardinals have had experience with with this before Larry Walker came from Colorado seemingly did well in ST Louis, Saving with Matt Holliday. We were concerned about the numbers coming out, of course, field in the altitude even pretty well here in San Llosa's well became one of the major leaders of this team, a cornerstone of this team and won a World Series here. Wild Molinari. Natto might be a product in some ways, of course field..

"Very likely that I would follow up on that project right, and so it's a bowed the storytelling always so no for client work we will work with almost anyone we for some foremost adhere to journalistic ethos and ethics, because that's where I come from. That's my training. It is the place that I'm very comfortable in. We don't do fiction, so that takes out half of podcasting. If we have a client, approach us about a project that is journalistically sound. That is based on reality, and that does not promote anything that would put into question our values then. Yes, we're going to explore that relationship. Okay, that's great, and it really is all encompassing and love that it's driven by the content, not by the person creating content absolutely got it okay. You've called yourself a hyphenated American, what does that mean? Episodes do we have. Well literally I have a last name because I married someone else and so I wanted to keep my identity as myself. I married in my early Thirties I was fully grown by then, but I'm also an immigrant, and so I came from a different reality entirely where I was born and raised until I was ten, and then I gained consciousness in the United States, essentially as having been outsiders having come from someplace else so that in a ways my hyphenated existence I am also bilingual bicultural I also straddled two worlds because my mom is a non English speaker. The rest of my family is Spanish monolingual. Exactly at the cost before these two cultures, these two languages needs, and so that makes me hyphenated, but I'm also very politically hyphenated in that I have ascribed and I have performed the values. That I- ingrained for my new country, but I'm also able to question some of the things that we do as a society and right now is a moment of deep reckoning for us, and so I s I offended American, I'm having very serious conversations with people in my life about how do I expand? Expound on these values that I have so that we can contribute to the next level so that we can get to the place that we. Need to be to really reflect who we are today. So many of your shows are plainspoken truth, and embracing topics of conversation that historically or in certain segments of society might feel uncomfortable, and that's another I think hallmark of Lundy Will Williams which I love and I wanNA. Bring up them which you mentioned earlier feeling, my flow and I think that that maybe it's a stretch, but a way that we can look at a hyphenated existence. I think that girls sometimes have to feel that they're not allowed to talk about their periods, and so you have to be a girl, but not a girl a week a month, or what have you? How did that show come about? This is a great story. So this is a show that was pitched to me by MIA. Warren and yet I did not know what another, but we had a friend in common, and typically when I meet someone for the first time I set a thirty minute limit on the conversation because I, talked to a lot of people throughout the week, and this is how I'm able to do that because I keep them short and sweet. Will men I talked for an hour and fifteen minutes because everything she was saying I was just lapping up. She started out with have an idea to do something on astronauts mistreating in space. She had made at astronauts menstruating rating in space. And everything that followed was gold by the end of that conversation. We had the whole concept for the show. We had a name for the show. I literally ended the conversation by saying okay. I'm going to send the contract by tomorrow. Is She was a way what we're going to make the right? This is what you called me. He's like wait seriously. We're GONNA make the show and I was like. Weren't you calling me to picture show? I'm taking the show it was. That was only the second time that I've done that sight unseen where had talked to the Creator and said yes, I am in one of the best decisions that I've made in the last three years. That's one of the things that was in the news, and why I had to call you because you just got mentioned in the Washington Post and you've got a good distribution deal recently. Recently with it range. Yes, we had done two seasons, and we were loving the show and the show. What's finding its audience? And then a couple months ago, PR eggs announced tracks, which is a new preteen focused network. Literally as soon as that announcement came through my email box, email Kerry Hoffman. See y'all PR and I, said Hey gary have a friendly relationship I said Hey Kerry. Feeling my flow, be perfect for tracks. And she said funny. You should mention it because your Melissa people talk to. As she connected me to Michelle small smalley, who's the executive producer of tracks? And then a couple months later we were one of shows along with time storm that debuted the entire network, and so it's just been wonderful, yes. Well the angle in the Washington Post leads us to another talking point in the post they described. How are quarantine? Time is a really good time to talk to kids about things that might be uncomfortable, but it's really good bonding time and talking time and I don't know if that sparked your next new show, but you're the host of. Mommy and poppy and I know that you've had to practice during quarantine because of your now eight and ten year olds. What was the sort of synchronicity or bio? Said those two shows I have to confess that I am a recovering political scientists. I have my undergraduate degree in political science and I am definitely a social scientists in hiding I, see patterns and trends, and I analyze human behavior. Just innately I'm so how to talk to mommy and poppy came about because of one of those moments one of my very best. Best Friends her mother is seventy one and her husband is seventy three, and they were perfectly happy in their winter home in Florida were they usually take their winters have an apartment in New York City, and about two days before New York City locked down for cove it. Her mom called her and said Hey. We're renting a car and driving to New York. City and my friend was a gas. She couldn't believe it. She was like. Are you crazy? This is the epicenter of the entire pandemic well today days later, mom and Stepdad showed up in new. York City. She and I are talking literally by the hour about what's happening. Are Things going at a save? What are you GonNa do then I start thinking? Why am I not so alarmed by this? What is it about the cultural context and the intergenerational dynamics? Because my friend was ill Latino cultures that makes a scenario like this, not just plausible, but almost predictable at some just sitting in my house. This whole situation I'm thinking. She's not the only one going through this. She's definitely not the only one so this is all sparked by the issue of children dealing with parents and parents dealing with children exactly. Matter that they were seventy something. It's always a challenge. Zach, so the idea was to spend some time looking at how first generation Americanized Children of immigrants, which was my friend situation, and it's my situation to how we straddle that generational hyphen between our parents who come from different cultures. They were full grown adults with children. They came to the United States, or they will full grown adults on their own right men had children here in the United States that children are growing up in very different environments, and sometimes it will become a head, and sometimes they were years of lingering misunderstandings and it impacts. Impacts all facets of life finances education labor marriage, all kinds things I, love that you have a platform where you can create a showed talk about something that sparks you with her. It was argued by astronauts, menstruating or older parents, moving in with children and things like that, but you've done so many things in media as I said earlier, you've been the writer, the editor in the new explain how you learn to be a founder and I should say I love this little factoid about you that you wrote the last article in the last physical edition of the magazine Jet Spill. You've got some kraft. What drove you to podcasting as a form I mean that was sort of like the wild west there you are thinking all right now I'm going to give up my day job. I fell in love with podcasting honestly. You Fall in love with. Serial. Of course, it was cereal. Because as know I'm a Storyteller Ama- journalists, I, seek out.

"Get the cubs now boys because when Craig kimbrel gets healthy and takes over that closer spot. They're gonna crews out in the NFL central with me. Let's move along here. Wait a minute. That's it. Let's a lawyer, you'll be nice to see Chicago in Saint Louis play tonight. In the last game of the series. Let's move along like my Craig kimbrel, nuns. Let's, let's just move along. Here is five point nine one DRA over last year. You're doing good about that. I have friends at ESPN want. I don't insane Lewis. I don't want to get into that. So please not trying to make Kevin Wheeler and Michelle small and all these people mad at me. So that's the other happy with the blues. I don't I don't think this cubs cardinals thing, even on the radar right now in Saint Louis long, who's about the blues NBA free agency talk. Certainly coming out. We mentioned what's going to happen with Durant Kurai. It'd be Jonathan kyri AD, so many big names could be on the move. Are you buying the one of the latest rumors that has Anthony Davis, going to Boston to pair with kyri who apparently staying with the Celtics, which I have a hard time seeing happening? What do you see this? Where's this? There's rumors. I mean, this is rumor mill it continues to churn. It's. Turning right now. Well, here's what we know. We do know that this summer is going to be interesting like every summer in free agency. And so what we understand about young players today. It's about legacy. There was a time in the nineties, and even early two thousands that he was cool to be on MTV cribs and just show how much money I'm spending, how many houses I have how many cars I have. And that seemed like there was more of the focused in winning a championship. Young players today are focused on legacy. They wanna be able to say, hey, I'm an NBA champion. I've talked in the past about how there are a lot of great players in the NBA in the eighties. And in the nineties, that trusted, the general managers ownership to be able to, to bring together championship. It starts with Michael Jordan, working you work your way down of great players. That said, I'm gonna stick with this franchise, they'll keep resigning because I know we're gonna wanna championship in a lot of teams and not get to that point. So I do appreciate how young players. In the NBA today are looking at an opportunity when they're free agents to be able to be with other talented players because you don't want to be the most town, the player and everyone else is five steps behind you, you wanna be able to play with other talented players, and then have the bench guys some the other guys be able to connect to what you're doing. So I don't know what's going to happen here. I think that Davis definitely wants to be out of New Orleans. Who knows where he's going to go, but there are six or seven teams are vying for quality for agents face lift for their team Davis is the one guy that I can understand why he wants to go for the reasons you laid out, but isn't it odd that the other big names, we've talked about, like if Durant leaves Golden State, he's not seven steps ahead of everybody. He's the best player but there are other superstars on that roster. So he would be leaving what I feel is a great situation for something unknown. If Leonard leaves Toronto he's leaving what potentially could be an NBA championship team, a team that if he's back in the mix next year with them in this cast will be favored to win another champion early favorite to reach the finals again coming out of the east, but where's he going? What's he chasing kyri already had a chance to beyond the floor at the best player in the game at this at this given moment in the brand, and he wanted out? And now he could be going onto another place. Because the way that he performed for them in the playoffs, they might be done with him anyways, although that's a very talented team. The Celtics have. So everything you said I agree with. But everyone except for AD is working, like in the opposite order of how you and I think it should happen. Look, if it's me, I'm never leaving Golden State. That's, that's just me. You know why? Because I know my talent, and I know that Steph curry Klay Thompson can knock down threes and even a new building in San Francisco is going to be lit you have an opportunity to be on the favorites again to win the championships. I'm not leaving why go to a situation that you have to almost rebuild like, for instance he goes to, to, to the Knicks. What's the point in less? You just want to be the king of the east was the point of it is not because of magic Square Garden into the lure of the Knicks. Because that franchise has not been relevant teams Seventy-three. So I don't even put them in that category. But for me, I know I would stay, but all these other free agents, they all want to have their own team to say the I'm synonymous with this team. And Kyrie thought that was the right thing. I guess going Boston, but you can see there's not fit their carrying Boston, don't seem to jive. Well, the first time that Brad Stevens was called out was by Taibbi Irving several times. Regular season. So I don't know about the relationship there. So it's, it's, it's fun. It's fun. Because I don't know. I agree with you Davis, does not want to go to another rebuil- with the pelicans in that market in New Orleans, and wants to go and try something else. I don't blame for that. But some of these other guys like Durant. Qui-. If quite with the championship the really have to go to Los Angeles play for the clippers really wanna be a Laker. I honestly know if I've seen the way that Toronto has embraced Leonard in the way those fans have embraced the raptors they have for years. But because we're in the finals. Now just those living outside of Canada. See it even more we knew about your ask park, but I mean, it's going to greater and greater heights. I mean, the way that, that this team has been embraced. I wouldn't leave would take all the loonies in the world. Get me out Canada. Let me ask you this. If someone does the NFL, how come the buzz is not quite like this is because the lack is as much pettiness in the NFL is in the NBA. Free agency. Well, it's, it's, it's harder to reach free agency in the NFL, and there are fewer huge names on the move. Typically off seasons. I mean Kirk cousins was like the biggest thing ever last off season. And he's just an average quarterback. But it's so rare for a superstar or upper echelon quarterback to ever reach free agency after franchise tags that it was such a phenomenon that you saw the money he got. I don't think I mean OB Jays traded. That's how moves like that happen. So typically speaking, you don't have like the top five players every seemingly, every summer top ten players changing teams swapping teams. That's the difference there. And sometimes, even though we're looking at AFC sometimes the fireworks happened for in a via trade for the NBA, like the rockets reason, why hurt is on the rocket those via trade. Same thing. Chris Paul the Cavaliers able to trade for Kevin love the Paul George came via trade from Indiana to the thunder. The Celtics with Kyrie Irving. Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett all those guys came to Celtics via trade. So I think a lot of this. Can there's some free agency movement? A lot of this happens via trade to this is interesting time because you just can't get a read aloud these guys what they wanna do. What would you which would you rather be at a winning situation and build from there or start over? And that's the big question like starting over meeting, New York or some of these other places. That's available. Chris Mannix, on the crossover pod says from what I understand the Celtics are not going to take their foot off the gas when it comes to pursuing Anthony Davis. So it wasn't just the Dickerson and who'd news feed that gave you that rumor, there's some, some substance to it, courtesy of Chris, Mannix, and also Danny age defended Karbi last week. But again, I'll believe that when I see it. All right. How likely is it that we see Kevin Durant play in game five Steve Kerr tells of that answer coming up next Dickerson hood, it's ESPN radio and the ESPN app? BNB pizza. And I was nicknamed the head coach of the raptors are win away from a championship Nick nurse. Thought about the war in the battle. He is thoroughly out coach Steve Kerr, the Golden State Warriors head coaching staff..

"Michael junior Jason Fitz. So where are Saint Louis fans now like where does their fandom lie with the NFL? So it depends on who you talk to you. It's kind of a mixed bag. A lot of people are really apathetic and don't care about the league at all anymore. I know a lot of people who the day that it happened canceled there, and if I'm at work subscription, instead he know what this is a corporation that doesn't want anything to do with us. So we're not going to put them emotionally. And we're not gonna support them monetarily, I visited another group, and I phoned to this group mostly going to describe that you really still love football and you've loved watching the game. But you just share against the Rams. It's kind of like the NFL is certainly evil in your mind, but the Rams evil as everything that they've done to you personally. Oh that to your every week whichever team playing the Rams so sure there's a lot of people in Saint Louis waking up begrudgingly having to go patriot today because I don't know if you guys have talked about this part of it. All ready having the Rams play the patriots for St Louis Rams fan or example, Rams, man. The worst possible fan combo you could ever have in your entire life. I was gonna say Michelle that was really my next question. These Saint Louis Rams who we know really kick started this version of the patriots dynasty with that match back in two thousand. Nd and to do you have in your heart to openly cheer for the patriots at this point? Or is this going to be a Super Bowl where you're almost like a conscientious objector, you just abstain completely from this? I was actually texting with fellow co worker. He was one of the people that spoke at the town hall meeting really passionately in favour of Saint Louis to keep the team. And after the patriots advanced I was actually with him. And he said I've gone through a movie on Super Bowl Sunday. I cannot cheer for the ramp, obviously. Because of what they did to St Louis, and I can't you're patriots. Because a lot of people are sitting St Louis thinking, you know, if the patriots they win that Super Bowl, you know, the Rams wouldn't have gone on this day losing spiral and because of the team losing so much. It's part of the contributing factor for them ultimately moving it's part of the argument that hand cranking company presented to the league. Like, hey, we haven't been. Advance import hasn't been best. It's okay to rip the seam out of this community. So I be grudgingly wanted to for the patriots because seeing Sankranti hoist the Super Bowl trophy and have people cheer for that. That's something that I can't stomach and if it if it doesn't happen. There's a lot of people Sandler's we're gonna have to go underground for a while. But I will be watching the game patriots. I know a lot of people in Saint Louis. We'll be going to believe that day. We're talking to Michelle small when you can hear them one on one ESPN Saint Louis small move formula to go out of your what heels Saint Louis in the relationship with the NFL at this point anything. I I don't really think anything we'll never get a team there. Again. I don't think Saint Louis wants that. And I don't think that the NFL could really figure out a way to do it. It's just it's a relationship that I think is too fractured as that camping. But a lot of people now Jeff wanna see them suffer. I just wanna see them have no success. That would make deserve. I mean when this the news I came down initially about the Rams leaving. I think a lot of people who were outside Saint Louis didn't really look at a lot of the contributing factors shift. I think they were like, oh, yeah. It's the middle market team. If the middle market, and you know, people don't necessarily care about the Rams their baseball town. If I was a business on I want to be in LA, it has don't look at everything the league gate leading up to that point that put fan Lewis on a really big cam-. I mean to tell the cities. Yeah, you guys put together this massive project. And it's not the plan by the land will keep the team and for Saint Louis do that and put hundreds of millions of dollars public funding on.

"Jason Fitz. So where are Saint Louis fans now like where does their fandom lie with the NFL? So it depends on your talks, you kind of a mixed bag. A lot of people are really apathetic and don't care about the league at all anymore. I know a lot of people who the day that it happened canceled there, and if I'm at work subscription, instead he know what this is a corporation that doesn't want anything to do with us. And we're not going to put them emotionally. And we're not gonna support them monetarily. I if another group, and I fall into this group and mostly going, no solid to describe that you really still love football. And you've love watching the game. But you just share against the ramp. It's kind of like, the NFL is thoroughly evil in your mind, but the ram evil as everything that they've done to you personally. Oh that to your fan. Every week whichever team is playing the Rams so sure there's a lot of people in Saint Louis waking up begrudgingly having to go patriot today because I don't know if you guys have talked about this part of it already having the Rams play the patriots for St Louis, Ramsauer example is the worst possible fan couple. You could ever have in your entire life. I was gonna say Michelle that was really my next question. These Saint Louis Rams, and we know really kick started this version of the patriots dynasty with that match back in two thousand. And and to do you have in your heart to openly cheer for the patriots at this point? Or is this going to be a Super Bowl where you're almost like a conscientious objector, you just abstain completely from this? I actually taxiing with a local work on ESPN yesterday. "Ask. Were you like to play where you not like to play in Saint Louis is on the place. I don't like the. Oh, oh, oh, no. So now the years are burning from Bernie Miklas Michelle small Benny, Chris raunchy ESPN Saint Louis. This is not going to be good. Oh boy. So now, we had five hundred miles south, and I fifty five to the city of St Louis or the whereabouts where we find an unhappy yacht here Molina the veteran cardinal catcher the old man sticking up for his city. Yeah. To your Molina with Chris Brian said, and this is what he responded by saying all stars elite players and leaders of their teams, do not speak bad about any city. There should be. They should be respected and you should play in compete with respect only stupid players and losers. Make comments like the ones made by Bryant and Dempster. Okay. Now, the situation here in Chicago in Saint Louis. Let me let me try to speak in code here for Kris Bryant, I think what Kris Bryant means Jonathan is. You know when you're a professional baseball player. There are some cities you love to go to and others that are not quite as fun. I didn't Jalen rose once chronicle this the life of an NBA player on the road. There are some cities where you can't wait to head out. And there are other cities where you get the, you know, the turndown service in early hotel champagne and campaign. That's what he would talk about UBS. I like city you just chill in the row. New York, you go and go out and have a good time. Yeah. I think that's that's that's kind of what we're Kris. Bryant is headed here. And let me also be very clear here. My wife is from Saint Louis. Yes. You know, my way around west county everyone. I I am a Saint Louis supporter if you can be one living in Chicago your whole life. Yes. I I can spot your wife anywhere. She's the one with the the Nellie band-aid, correct? George. Yes, we got her hair fixed the terrible haircuts down. There was don't ask all good beautiful hair. But then Nellie band-aid, even when Nellie took the band aid off. She kept it up. Right. But look Saint Louis. It's there I'm sure it's a wonderful place to live, but you do have to admit there's not a ton going on downtown. We're an average major league baseball player would like to go out and about and be seen your. I'm saying I mean, there's just not a lot downtown. Don't do that. Don't do this. Saint Louis is fine. Saint Louis is fine. That's was one of our fine cities one Saint Louis is airing our show, please don't let us get banned off of one on one St Louis have friends there Ronge and Kevin Wheeler. Don't don't do that. They would agree with me. No. They would not agree with you. And you know, who also would disagree with you. Mike, shannon. Steer wanted. He would not be happy with you. Also, he loves Saint Louis. So don't don't do that. I I have no problem with Saint Louis, Missouri. Now, here's the thing. I think he might have been here. We don't know Kris Bryant usually didn't say anything. So this is why they was so surprising. I think you almost perfect in and try to get the fan base behind the cubs. There was there a capacity crowd there for the interview. And there he was just talking about Louis. And of course, the fans there. Those terrible eight say that that's one of the reasons why. But Saint Louis with all the times I've been there. I was just there last year. Saint Louis is fine. The landing there, you're plenty of bars and restaurants. It's a baseball Centric city. It's fine. Oh, stop. I mean, look, I look if if we're going to play the sound that we're gonna talk about crossing that bridge in Saint Louis. I mean, I just gotta say that. From a Kris Bryant perspective. I know what he's talking about. He's not going to the local fish fry at the private school. Okay. I get that. But that's a wonderful place to live. Road trip that if you're a professional. Okay, here's the last. I'll stop now. I not want to get a span from Saint Louis ESPN. There are good friends. Yes, listen, we we are on a lot of affiliates. Don't don't get banned off of. Louis. I love Saint Louis love ESPN, St Louis arm, saying is there are those trips every year where you might wanna bring the wife too. All right. Like New York, Chicago Miami. There are some trips where you probably would say we'll pass on this one. Okay. Okay. Let let's do a little deeper dive here before we get thrown off callers from Saint Louis. I sent them on the screen now. That's not coming from Saint Louis. Pretty mad a little over blown sideway Molina would be that upset about what Kris Bryant said. Okay. Well, I I have no problem with St Louis. I'm driving hood. I have no problem with Saint Louis. I got traveled down there. At least a couple times a year. So I have no problems I've had family there. So let let's get to the point of it. Here this rekindles, let me get back to the sports here before kicked off here. We're not gonna let it back on the Ozarks. The ozarks. I will tell you that this will rekindle the rivalry has already been a great rivalry between the cubs and the cardinals for so many years. I think that just the idea that Saint Louis was able to go all in for Goldschmidt to improve the team and the cubs kind of wavering. Here. Don't know if the cubs we'll make it back to the World Series. Joe man could be out after the season. And a lot of coaching changes there on that staff and the cubs are unwilling to spend the money to get Bryce Harper or many Machado. So I just think that all of that is all encompassing for a very interesting. NFL central coming up this spring and summer. What a pro you are you took me you pulled me away from the edge from the abyss. You pulled me back, and you hopefully have maintained this show status the affiliate in Saint Louis. This is what happens when we have to switch roles at times where I have got if I'm the one that I've gotta able to goes back to where we need to be to focus on the rivalry and the cubs and cardinals. It should be interesting now, especially from the comments from Kris Bryant and then the off season from the cardinals it really should rekindle..

"And I think it's perfectly believable as he's working the brushstrokes exactly at Harris's Pollock which is another movie I love, but I thought there was good humor and memorable musical scores. While I'm giving at attorneys three major leaves obviously very much for art house audiences to full has an outside chance of the best actor nomination. He's effort Critic's choice for best actor, but that's seven nominees. So the Oscars I think he may get left out. But obviously, I love the gun boy race from director. Joel Edgerton also stars in the film. I Lucas hedges plays the son of a southern preacher. Who's Russell Crowe and his wife, Nicole Kidman? Who sent to gay conversion camp, it's appointed coming of age drama, which showcases how devilish these places are that currently exist hedges sincere and a character the empathize with what I appreciate the most. They did not demonize the parents Kidman more quickly comes to answer sons calls of distress away from the camp. But I thought crow is very good. He plays a God fearing man who loves his son. But does have trouble reconciling the truth because he's falling what the bible says, which is that his sons lifestyle is unacceptable yet as I said, he does indeed a door his son. So I actually was pleased. The fact that did not demonize the parents Allthough. The story clearly sets up the fact that these gay conversion camps are riffing. The fact they even exist primarily in the south is scary. I'll give it to and a half Maple Leafs. Michelle small and a big fan, a simple favor director, Paul fake. Stephanie plays a widowed. Single mother. Wagner in Connecticut. Dan, static favorite, Anna, Kendrick, and Emily has a beautiful successful career loving family and invert favorite Blake. Lively. She was great in the shallows. She appears but her son is convinced that she's still alive. So lively wickedly acidic. She's got a half a dozen. Really funny lines very sharp, very, vulgar, Anna Kendrick plays woefully naive character. But the story to me at one too many plot with ends up being too ridiculous. I'm going to give it one and a half maple leaves that thought it had some promise of potential by so ludicrous by then I was rolling my eyes. Ricky Passmore saw Ricky would you think a simple favor? I thought it was intriguing. You said it it's like three movies trying to be one movie, and he doesn't really know where it's in. But between lively and Kendrick like they just elevate it to that next level where it is entertaining to me. Yeah. They story wise like it tries to be crime thriller tries to be kind of more like a Paul fake comedy. And then it just tries to be this extremely like hard core suspense film in the final act, and the fact that you're bouncing around all these Janas, it's you can't really settle into it. And it becomes a mess. But. When it comes to Kendrick lively just playing off each other and kendricks of evolution within her character as yeah. From that kind of waifish just. Connecticut. Single mother right through kind of a really dominant sexy. You know, kind of power trippy type of person. It's a very interesting arc- this year, take I think I gave it like to maybe two and a half just for them. But at the same time like I said plot wise, it's a mess if you're out of the actors, I would echo sediments definitely check it out. And lastly, the sisters brothers, which is an atmospheric western from Jacques ODI, art. It's eighteen fifty one and Charles and allies sisters our brothers, and assassins, they are played by what? Keane, Phoenix, and John C Reilly. They also made up with Jake Joel hall and amid and western about character and sibling loyalty is kind of sprawling revisionist. It's a French director who's making a road movie comedy kind of like what Ricks at about a simple favor in terms of mixing different genres. I think it totally worked a thought it was in search of a point. But the thing John rally was very good. He's eating his act is very good. He's in a miracle. Standing all which I haven't seen it which is about the laurel and hardy team, I believe for Golden Globe for that for best actor was up for musical comedy. But I didn't think John C rally was notable other than that..

Anna Kendrick Maple Leafs director Ricky Passmore Lucas hedges Blake Joel Edgerton Paul fake Harris Connecticut Nicole Kidman Ricks Russell Crowe Jake Joel hall Golden Globe Pollock John C Reilly John Stephanie John C
