"He's going to the president for His constituency which a lot of his, you know, green lobbyists and all that. The rent seekers and climate communists. I call them and so, Yeah, you could have Michelle Floren oId department defense. The admission department fences to defend the country. It was she going to be doing. She's gonna be using department of dense to work on climate. Yeah, which is a really nonsensical national security issue. And then how you know what's the special threat to the U. S military from climate are our plane's not gonna fly ships not gonna float. I mean, what was the issue? Um, and neither John Kerry and his mission is gonna be to get us back into the Paris climate accord, which President Trump got us out of because we would do absolutely nothing for the climate environment. Or public health, But Justin snare the U. S economy and U. N regulation. This whole focus on climate is just really misplaced. And you know, it's gonna harm our economy is gonna crush your standard of living. Well, I'm glad you mentioned Kerry. He's going to serve as a quote special presidential envoy for climate But one of the things that I didn't understand the need for he will sit on the National Security Council. This is a new position. It does not require Senate confirmation. How is it even related to national security? And why should carry sit on the NSC? Well, it's not. It's just a climate activists. They want to meet fuse climate into everything we do, and national security and defense is part of that. You know, Biden's pick for Department of Health and Human Services. He wants to infuse climate in in that, what's What's What's climate got to do is Medicare. Medicaid, right? All those, you know all the health programs, nothing. But nevertheless that mean it Z, You know, they want to be everywhere, then control everything and make everything about climate. You know when when Obama was president and we were doing obamacare people were concerned that well, it's a government takeover of 16% of economy. Well, climate is the government takeover of the rest of the economy, and that's what Biden's got implement. Well, and you know, this comes back to what the president was saying through the campaign. Joe Biden was lying all along when it came to climate policy, you know, want these green policies hamper the U. S is ability to compete with an unregulated China, for example, making us more dependent on other countries, effectively creating a China first energy policy. That's what scares me here is that you're you're putting us at a competitive or not you but you know, Biden is effectively putting us at a Uh, dis a competitive disadvantage with with this China first energy policy toward their disadvantage, wants to crush our economy. Joe Biden wants to ban fracking. The reason we still have $2 gas living versus eight or $10 gasoline. Is because of fracking. The reason you know we're not really dependent on OPEC, and you know Iran can close off the streets of form uses it once and it's not gonna matter to us because we have fracking and Joe Biden wants to get rid of Frank. Of course, Ironically, you know, we're the only nation that has actually reduced emissions Only, you know, industrial nations. And why is that less? Because fracking What does Joe Biden want? Do you want to get rid of fracking mean? They're just nuts. We're talking with Trump EPA transition team member Steve Malloy, Steve one of the things that I also noticed recently, Joe Biden has already in he's called climate change and emergency. He's placed the issue as one of the top four priorities of his administration. And yet environmentalists say it's not enough. They're pushing from, or report reports now show that extremists are pushing Biden to officially declare a national emergency in order to gain more power. In order to do more. I mean, first off, what would they be able to do it? I mean, is that even legitimate? Could he declare a national state of emergency on climate? Well, legitimate. Who knows what's legitimate? You know, even it's not legitimate..

"That's promo code. Shapiro. Okay. Meanwhile, speaking of that Biden intersectional cabinet You're a call. There is a bit of an intersectional battle going on over the defense secretary position. Michelle Floren. I was widely perceived to be the front runner for secretary of defense and many members of the Democratic coalition were super excited because we know woman. To be the head of the Defense Department would been a groundbreaking moves. Have a woman be the head of the Defense Department? Sure, the term woman doesn't actually mean anything but still super duper important because the category woman is both completely malleable and meaningless and also incredibly, incredibly important to break glass ceilings or some such in any case, he didn't pick Michelle Floren Oy. Apparently, Biden didn't pick her because number one, he wasn't particularly close to her there. Also some questions about Her lobbying for outside of government organizations on K Street. Instead, he chose Lloyd Austin, so Lloyd Austin Is a four star general who retired about four years ago. This means that the Congress need to pass a waiver in order make him Secretary of Defense. Lloyd Austin also happens to be black. So this is going to be Joe Biden's cover. I mean, did he get away with it with his own coalition? He Over and over in this piece in the Atlantic. He just keeps mentioning the guys. The guys raised like it's super important that this guy is black. Now we have had high ranking black officials. We've had Colin Powell as secretary of state. And kind of Lisa Rice as secretary of state Under the Obama administration. We had an attorney general who is black. The notion that it is like a groundbreaking thing now black people because we had a president of the United States for two terms was black. This idea that we needed to the secretary of defense to be black, because otherwise the Inter sexual intersectional coalition is displeased just demonstrates how fragile that coalition is, If all you can do is hold that thing together with spit and tape. Because, really, it's just a bunch of various interesting you just to have been a pork barrel rolling, selecting Cabinet members by race and sex. That is not a salad coalition. Joe Biden's excuse for why he picked Lloyd Austin is pretty astonishing, he says in late August of 2010. I traveled to Iraq for the fifth time is vice president. Well there, I participated in the change of command ceremony for US forces Iraq President Obama had charged me with overseeing the end of Operation Iraqi freedom. We were committed to ensuring the orderly withdrawal of our forces and equipment from Iraq, standing in the garish all fall Palace once home to Saddam Hussein, But by then part of camp victory, I watched as General Lloyd Austin assumed leadership of the national security priority on behalf of the president of the United States. Just over a year later, in December, 2011 I returned to Alfa Palace, joining Austin. The ceremony honoring American and Iraqi service members is our forces left the country. General Austin got the job done. He played a crucial role in bringing 150,000 American troops home from that theater of war. Now I do recall and immediately upon withdrawing from Iraq, Isis proceeded to establish a caliphate directly in that region and around rushed to fill the vacuum. And you think that Joe Biden forgot that. Apparently provided not forget that because then he praises Lloyd Austin for having to put together the operation that went for Texas half in the same piece, so really well done their vice president Biden so That you know his again. He just keeps pushing on his race. In this piece, he says he was the 200 person ever to attain the rank of an Army Four star general on Lee, the sixth African American who is the first African American general officer to lead an Army corps in combat the first African American to command an entire theater of war. If confirmed, you'll be the first African American to helm the Defense Department. Another milestone in a Area breaking career. So it's pretty obvious why he is picking Lloyd. Also, I mean, what Austin may in fact, be a very good general. I don't know that much about the guy. As you know that he was delegated hundreds of millions of dollars in order to build up some sort of ground force to oppose the Assad regime in Syria and came up with something like 60 fighters with something like $500 million or something. But with that said Maybe is great. His job that it went by and picked him. Okay, Speaking of which you can see this college already starting to fracture Bernie Sanders, he says. I'm not thinking of progressives in this administration. I want more of my people in this administration. If you think that Bernie Sanders wing of the party is simply going to sit down and shut up, you have another thing coming, which means that Biden is gonna have to do one of two things, either. He's going to have to continue brushing off Bernie. And his friends or with a very, very slim house majority. He is going to have to start catering to AOC and Bernie and this administration will just become a Potemkin village in favor of the radical after his Bernie Sanders expressing his displeasure My point has been from day one.

"And Getty Show last one is not about politics. It's about people and that's what I keep trying to say. Um I don't blame good girl Productions or whoever was filming there like the entertainment industry has been decimated. They need to work, you know, but small businesses. We are Destitute. You mean we're looking at something worse than the great Depression? And most of us were basically on our last breath and they shut us down again. I did everything right. I had Temperature checks. I had gloves. I had shields. I was outdoors. My tables were 7 ft apart. I mean, I went above and beyond. And I spent 60, the $80,000 doing everything that they wanted. Wow. Angela Marching who owns the Pineapple Bar and Grill, and she was told she had to shut down outside dining for no good reason. Then comes back from Ironically, getting some money for her. For employee who's given our final paychecks. Yeah, and comes back and finds out. I am a movie Shoot had set up just steps away from a restaurant and they were dining. Yeah, but they were allowed to do that. But she was shut down. Yeah. And Eric Garcetti and the Barbara Fairer or whatever. Her name is the idiot Health Lady in L. A. They just have no sense of the reality of American business or small business. And I'm looking at this, Uh Scott Morrow, Who's the head guy in San Mateo County in the Sacramento or I'm sorry, the San Francisco Bay area and some of the things he's saying. And this guy, I'm so Glad there's somebody like this. Who says I'm aware of no data that some of the business activities on watch on which even greater restrictions are being put into place. In this new order are the major drivers of transmission. In fact, I think he's greater restrictions are likely to drive more activity indoors, a much riskier endeavor. Well, I don't have scientific evidence to support this. I also believe these greater restrictions will result in more job lost more hunger, more despair and desperation. Um the structure of our economy is for the most part. If you don't work you don't eat or have a roof over your head, and it'll cause more deaths from causes other than Cove in and I wonder are these premature deaths and the less worrisome than cova deaths? And then, he says. These new orders make it difficult for schools to open her Stay open, very hard needle to thread the message that everyone must stay at home by strict order, But it's okay for kids to go to school. I continue to strongly believe our schools need to be open. The adverse effects for some of our kids will like less. For generations. Schools have procedures to stay open safely, even during the surge is evidence by data. My earlier statements remained the same. At least there's one same one. Here's to you, Scott. So Joe Biden made his choice for secretary defense, which is one of your big time cabinet positions. The two biggest ones are SEC def. And secretary of State right in Terms of headlines, Health and Human Services has the biggest budget. That's right. We learned that you we learned that on this show, we're harassing Alex Cesar and he just stopped he owned Does he put us in our place? But so it was announced that Joe Biden picked this general Austin and a number of people were surprised that he didn't go with this. Michelle Floren Oy. Who I didn't know Also, uh military, uh, Choice. But she had been writing a lot recently about deterrence in the Pacific and making China think twice and she was kind of an expert in that whole part of the world. And everybody felt that might be the pivot. Where is he comes out of the whole Middle East conflict thing in the Obama administration and has some questionable questionable decisions about Isis in Iraq and various things like that, and his experiences fighting land wars in the Middle East, as opposed to the whole China thing, So there's that well, they say he's the one who gave Obama the idea that Isis was the JV team, right? Obama is quoting him and I and I don't know. Um, I'll take other people's word for it, but I thought this is really interesting from Tim Kearney, who we used to have on all the time writing an opinion piece in the Examiner. Um Dwight Eisenhower made famous the term military industrial complex. Retired General Lloyd Austin is that complex. And I thought, Well, I got my attention. Okay? This is something I completely understand. This is not just your philosophy of war. Whatever. Biden's embraces the military industrial complex over civilian control. Joe Biden's pick for Defense secretary is a decorated soldier, a West Point grad who earned four stars and two advanced degrees amid decades of public service. He's also a revolving door businessman just barely out of the military. As such, he embodies two problems with our governance, the revolving door between industry and government and the subtle erosion of civilian control of the military. Austin serves on the board of Raytheon, having carried over from the board of United Technologies. When the two merged in April. Pre merger Raytheon and United Technologies were number four and number six defense contractors in 2019. Biting for almost $25 billion in military contracts. United Technologies and Raytheon have paid Austin about $1.4 million since 2016 According to the project on government Oversight, Austin joined you tease boards four months after retiring as a four star general in May of 2016. So you go straight from being a general. You retire. Make Seven figures. Sounds like he was about 3 50 a year then Golding and money for sitting on a board and then go right back into the military where you will be recommending decisions on how money is spent, right? Yeah, I can see how that's a troubling thing. Oh, yeah. There's so much money. Eisenhower's Yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, And and we and and they're a bit Teflon. I mean, we have a bit of this attitude. Well, the military you know, we always got to support the military in these generals. They're good patriots, and they're only doing the right thing. Always. Eisenhower in his farewell address, who was one of the top generals in our nation's history, and he would know how it works, said of the Western world, by Golly said, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence. Whether sought or unsought by the military industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of a misplaced power exists and will persist. Yeah. Um, that that's something to take a look at. You know the argument on the side of that I've heard many times as well. Of course, they put the retired general who just left on the board. They want the latest knowledge. That exists on on on what is needed so we can provide that to the military..

"Many people have been betting on Michelle Floren Oy and Undersecretary of Defense for Policy and the Obama administration. Toe Head D. O D under Biden. You work for floor knife for several years. What would she have brought to the position? Part of the reason that I and so many others would have liked to see Michelle, Florida and the job is that she is someone who's just universally respected and really, almost beloved, I think would not be an exaggeration. In the national security community. She has been a major intellectual leader. She's been a mentor to a generation of women and men in the national security community. She's been in a sense under studying for this job for years. Obviously, it's fantastic to see the first black secretary of defense. It would also been fantastic to have the first female secretary of defense to in a federal agency that until literally just a few years ago. Had legal discrimination on the basis of sex. That would also have been a really important symbolic move. I think, t choose a woman like Michelle Floren Oy, who's so fantastically qualified. I mean, a lot of people have made the argument that a woman at the head of the Pentagon is long overdue. What difference would gender make you think in this particular department? This is a department that, unlike any other in the federal government has been permitted to lawfully discriminate on the basis of sex until just a few years ago. For a long time, the number of women in the military was capped after the cap for 2% Catholic lifted, it took until 2008 to get the first female four star general. Even as we began to see significant advances in terms of racial diversity in the military women success really lagged behind, and it was only a 2015 that The so called combat exclusion rule, which prohibited women from serving in the combat roles that traditionally are the ones viewed as preparation for top. Both military and civilian leadership in D. O D is only 2015 that that rule was lifted. I mean, in the U. S, military, gender equality and Rachel equality have both been elusive for years. As to the racial component here. I mean, General, Austin's nomination must send an important message to service members of color, especially in the lower ranks. That's absolutely true, you know, And it's incredibly important and meaningful to have. The first African American secretary of defense critics, including myself, have noted that there are other candidates who are on the short list, including people like J. Johnson duties. Former general counsel in the former secretary of Homeland security Under Obama, it's J. Johnson had been appointed. He also would have been the first African American secretary of defense, and he would not have required to congressional waiver, You know? So so I don't think we should be thinking about this as Well, you know, this important norm of civil military relations had to be tossed aside so we could break this barrier. It didn't have to be tossed aside, and I think it's really important right now to be saying really clearly to the Biden team. You didn't have to do this. This was not a good move. He's a great guy you could have waited is only about 2.5 years for him to have done the cooling off period. You could be your second secretary of defense. "O P. It was a noticeable a mission when President elect Joe Biden unveiled his national security team earlier this week, No one has been selected yet to fill the role as Defense secretary Michelle Floren Oy served in key national security positions during the Obama years and has been considered the odds on choice, but she is no longer the slam dunk choice. Earlier, I talked about it with Politico defense reporter Laura Ceiling ceiling. I can't stress enough that Michelle Floren Rory has been thought to be a lock on this drop for months, if not years. She, in fact, was the Pentagon senior policy official in the Obama administration. Most senior woman to hold that post, and she was known to be Hillary Clinton's pick for defense secretary if she had one in 2016. So in fact, she's really been defense secretary and waiting for four years, so this was a very noticeable absence. And while sources close to the transition tell me that formula is still the top contender Position. President elect Biden It's not completely sold on her. He never developed that kind of strong personal relationship. But Floren oy that he has looked for in his Cabinet picks. I'm told So he's still weighing his options. Now again, That's not to say he won't pick her eventually, but he's looking at other places. One thing that is kind of wing against her right now is that Biden is under a lot of pressure from the outside, particularly progressive to look elsewhere, in part because of for noise ties to the defense industry and her support of Obama's Afghanistan surge because that Biden opposed So kind of broadly, she's seen by some as two in French tended defense community to enact the kind of progressive change that Biden is pushing, if not her, who else might be under consideration. Another top contender and hold is J. Johnson. He was Obama's secretary of homeland security and also a former Pentagon general counsel. Now he would be a really notable pick us well because it would be the first Black Defense secretary so this would fit in with Biden's attempt to give more diversity in his Cabinet. That his name has also been floated for a number of other positions, including attorney general and CIA director So it's unclear right now what's going to happen with this position? Another issue that might come up for Johnson is that he is also unlocking Martin's board of directors, which does not endear him to the progressive wing of the party, either defense reporter Laura Seligman it's 2 43, the most senior black lawmaker on Capitol Hill's taking President elect Biden to task over his administration appointments so far. "Brett Wonderful show. Hey, let me go to Travis. First up here has been patiently holding on Travis. Welcome the program. What's on your mind, Sir? Bert? Hi. Thanks for having me on. Thanks for calling, sir. Um, you're talking earlier about the importance of looking forward instead of back, and I think that one thing we've learned about it, maybe it fits into what you're talking about with the great reset. Yeah, we have to decouple from China as well. The lesson of 2020 on right now, if you look at various reports that I've seen the number one name That Joe Biden seems to be looking at for secretary of defense is Michelle, Florida late and if you do a YouTube search for Michelle for annoyed China, and you might want this audio for when you have Gordon Chang on. One of the very first things that came up was a video of Michelle Floren Oy in a panel like a two minute long video in which she says It's impossible to decouple from China disentangle, she says, and B Even if we could, it would not be advisable and My view is That would just be such a huge step back from the Trump era. And when I would like to see senators Thom Tillis of Richard Byrd come out right now and say, Listen, one thing we're not going to do. We're not gonna backtrack. On China, even if she never gets name if Phyllis and Burke came out and said that right now They would send the message. You are going to face resistance. If you want to go back to the old way of thinking about us relations with China, that we're not going there. So anyway, Thanks for letting me on. That's great stuff. No, no, that is great. I appreciate you being there, Travis. That's great information. Let me give folks a little bit of a background on her just so you can understand where she comes from politically. In 2011 in the midst of the Arab spring. And the street popular Popular Street uprisings. She was the undersecretary of defense for policy she persuaded helped persuade President Obama to intervene militarily in Libya. Despite opposition from members of Congress and key White House advisers, including Joe Biden. You know who else disagreed Tom Donnellan, the National Security Advisor Robert Gates, the defense secretary who once was the CIA director. Florida supported the NATO led imposition of a no fly zone over Libya to oust Moammar Qaddafi. In a webinar hosted by the Israel policy for him in junior 2020 Floren. I expressed concern that Israel's proposed annexation of the West Bank could lead Congress to deny $4 billion in annual aid to Israel and hate to see some in Congress decided they're going to hold hostage or security assistance to Israel is a way of protest in the policies. In the West Bank, adding that afraid of the US Israel relationship would be disastrous for us interest. The problem with this is to be honest, is she, um Deal. The bite administration is king toe, abandon what Trump has done. And is instead Looking towards the P l O is the people who can get the answers there, which we both know is a fool's errand. So So this is this is interesting. And I'm not surprised. I mean, she's part of the establishment. I'm not surprised that she would say that we can't a couple wouldn't Gordon Chang comes on this program and just about 12 minutes We're gonna talk about this one story That's just it's completely absent. From the from the conversation, and it's a humongous, humongous story. It's something called R C E P Recep OK, Recep is what it's called. 15 Asia Pacific countries form the world's largest training block yesterday. China, Japan, Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Philippines, Brunei, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. Have joined This this trading bloc. Along with Australia and New Zealand. We're not in it, in fact, were prohibited from being in it. They will not let us be a part of it because we bailed on Tpp. How big is this market? Well, the combined GDP of the signatories is 30% of global GDP. Covering 28% of global trade. India bailed on it because they were concerned they couldn't protect the domestic industry. This is China's making a huge play. This is China, making a huge play and purposely cutting us out of the deal. You know what's amazing to me with everything that's going on with the covert and the anger and the protests and all of it. You haven't seen a single solitary protest outside of a Chinese consulate or embassy. Nobody is mad at the people. They should be mad at the matter. Trump Matter Republicans. They're mad at mayor's dramatic governors, and those were all fine. But nobody is organizing any kind of a march or protest like you saw yesterday or a Saturday. Out in front of the Chinese Embassy in Washington, D. C. Or in any other any of their consulates around the country that they ought to be the folks knowing who were holding responsible. We're gonna change the whole world order. Jake. Welcome the program. What's on your mind? Hey, good afternoon bread, listening to your conversation and quite taken by it. Thank you. I'm concerned that Americans are withdrawn from reality. Um, as a former member of the military, I can tell you that there are approximately 17 million former military out there. In over 400 million weapons. I don't think Those of us who risked our lives. For America are going to be willing to sit back. Inlets and progressive politicians run over us. We know that to win, you have to cut the head off of the snake. That's what will happen. Well, here's to think First of all, thank you for your service, Jake. And I honor you for for what you have done to defend this country so we can have conversations like this on the radio. But the thing is, and you and I both know with the right president and vice president. The Congress set up just properly. What'll happen is this will happen Piece by piece. It will not be an invading army. And I know you're not implying that, but it won't be the invading army marching down Main Street. It'll be complex regulations that we all now have to abide by on Ben Hope that the right thinking folks get back in and 2022 are able to unwired what the damage that's been done. That's that. That's the problem. See that I would agree, but I think it's time for Americans to disengage from the Internet and things like that remove their banking from the Internet. Remove their footprint from the Internet. I'm leaving the county. I'm going to higher ground. So I hear you all right? I appreciate you being there, Jake. I don't see This is a tough, tough calculus here, Okay? Because we have to continue to live our lives. If we run and hide, then they're not concerned about us. We were just willing to flare up like a like a pile every now and again. But we have to be present in serious at all times in this challenge. I mean, I'm over it parlor now. Right. I'm looking at me. We I'm substantially reducing what it is that I'm doing over on Twitter and Facebook except amongst the people that I know. And the people that are fans of the show. I don't I don't care about what Jack says. And I don't care about what Zuckerberg says. I don't care about that stuff. I'm gonna continue to message out of those platforms until they make it impossible to do that sort of thing, But it's important for us to not cut off chains of communication and discussions. That's why I like using. You know, I like using a stream yard. I like using different APS to try to get stuff out. We'll be doing more video this week as well. And and this is all an important thing. Because what what they want with this great reset what they want with the covert lockdowns what they want. With all of this is for you to feel isolated like you're the crazy person like you're the problem. You're not We're not We're in this together. Republicans Democrats, progressives independence were in this together because this is about liberty and liberty is not red or blue. It just is 70457 or 11 10. I'm Brett Little News. All right, Doug. Thank you so much. You're listening to Bloomberg. BusinessWeek want to get back Torus We're talking with Bloomberg News Politics editor Wendy Benjamin said she's on the phone from Washington. D C. All right, Wendy. I know you guys. You have all been over all on it in terms of looking at, but a buying White house. Looks like so let's go through some of the names. I mean, is it gonna be Kind of like Obama 2.0. In some ways it is there will be very familiar faces. There will be a familiar names. There won't be a complete, you know, re tread. He's picking a lot of different people, and he's picking people who had slightly. You know where maybe under secretary in the Obama administration who will now rise To the front of it. He is also committed or recommended. But he is, although we think planning to make history with some of his Cabinet choices, putting women in at defense and Treasury Two cabinet agencies that have you had to see it with a woman at the top. Can I just say reading this story over the weekend? I was like blown away like Wait. A woman. A woman, A woman like no, is that Joe Biden is that his team is that Kamala Harris or a little bit of all of it? A little bit of all of it, but I think it's think a lot of it is Joe Biden. But one thing to keep in mind is that the name floating around for chief of staff for the people who will be closest to bite me in the White House, just like under Obama. Are going to be, you know, largely white men from what we can tell. So there will be the counselor to the president of domestic policy chief, the chief of staff, those sort of jobs that you know These are just people who are talented and experienced and Oh, and in their jobs, and they happen to be white man, But but you don't need to make the vory. They don't become household names either. But you know, Defense Secretary Michelle Floren. Oi! Is that the capitalist for that? Or Treasury Secretary Layla Brainard. That's a big, splashy thing. Those air, very high profile people who will become household names and their women. Yeah, it's really, really distinct. And doesn't it really feels like if you think about in many ways, Wendy the year that we've had right and just dealing with the dual pandemic, of course, the virus but also Of we talk so much about systemic racism in the inequities and the inequalities when we look around, you know much of corporate America and really still in the political world, So it looks like you know, this could be a very big step forward. I don't know. Am I over saying it or is that what it is potentially I think it could be. I mean, these are white women on and some of you have jobs, although Pamela Harris is the vice president, the history making, But I do think it does address some of the inequities that women have seen where they're they are stymied. I mean, ah Woman of defense has been hard to do, because it's always been traditional that the person would have military experience. And they just haven't been a lot of women who have risen up in the military yet, but the but Michelle, Florida, I was was the highest ranking woman in the Pentagon. During the Obama administration, and I think she ran either the budget of procurement or something. Where I'm sorry. I don't have that at my fingertips, but she she's perfectly qualified for this stuff. Yeah, I mean in the military. What does it tell? It does give us an idea of what kind of administration What kind of policies might you know what kind of actions we might see from the get Go once by Dennis team step into the White House. Well, I think a lot of it is going to depend on Senate control. Biden is going to first name the White House jobs that the people that actually worked in the White House, his top aides. Those don't need Senate confirmation those air at the they serve at the pleasure of the president and the president. Only, so I think he's going to probably try to start with those jobs first. Of and then partly because he wants to be careful and take his time and partly because we don't know what the Senate nation process will be like. I think, then he's going to between Thanksgiving and Christmas began to roll out some names of Cabinet members. I think if they're if it looks like there's going to be democratic control of the Senate, he might go a little further left than he would if he had to face much iffy. If this person has to get through Mitch McConnell and you know they may be more moderate. What's the rule of Kamala Harris, his vice president elect in helping shape this team? Well. He has said that she will have the same privilege that he had under president Obama, which is that she will be the last person in the room, giving advice and if if He is true to that promise to her than I think. I know why it wouldn't be theirs. Then she should have Ah, pretty big saying things they will last question and I was left kind of what's going on behind closed doors at this point. President elect Biden. Is he getting all the briefings or the key ones when it comes to security when it comes to the virus, as does Donald Trump the president while he is getting his own virus briefings from the Corona Virus task force that he named today, many of these people were already advising him on the campaign. He named 13 more today. And they are going to turn his campaign promises on the virus into policy in terms of security briefings. He's been getting those ever since he was the nominee.
