"He doesn't have a graduate degree of any kind but he can quit himself very very well in a discussion with any doctor or any. Scientists in the areas of really deep prowess do study that. He's gone into over the years. So it's not a credential but it is a story and it is a deep prowess knowledge that he has. You know there's a woman in. Chris carr who wrote a book crazy sexy cancer. She had stage four cancer for probably almost fifteen years now and thankfully you know universe permitting she still here and thriving so she's not a doctor but she has a very powerful engaging an incredible personal story around cancer and has a huge tribe of people that want to maintain their health in many of whom are addressing cancer. So in the you know the i encounter people all the time who feel insufficient feel like underdogs because they don't have the credential that they think is needed for them to really you know. Make an impact or get traction in the marketplace that they are really called to serve. You know. I speak on stage quite a bit. And i used to talk about this. I made this up on an eye radio. Elsa don't go for it but if something we were talking about your mind let's just put it out of your mind. Don't even go for it. We were talking before about cooking. And i i had this example that sharing a lot. Which is you know. If i wanted to create a cooking course and i know nothing about cooking and i call it the helpless cook and my pitches. Look i know nothing about cutting out. No the first thing about it. But i'm gonna go on this journey. I'm going to take this personal journey. And i'm going to learn how to cook and we're gonna video the whole thing and you can come along with me and learn how to cook with me. It's called the helpless cook. Would you like to join me on that journey and so if you think about it might credentials as cook are zero. Credibility is sky high. Because i told you exactly who i and exactly so. Credibility is better established story and transparency than it is with actual credentials. And you know. I'm i'm really. I hope there's a hopefully as quite a few people on this that can take that on in terms of entering a category that they were concerned or fearful about entering or just stand tall and louder in prouder. At what you're already doing based on what i've just shared with you a great insight might go..

"There's a lot of ways to make money. There's many fewer ways to make money and also be fulfilled in the process. To stay to stay engaged and to find fulfillment in what you're doing. I think a lot of people get into professions and pursue them for their entire careers and most of their lives. And then end up trying to find fulfillment and charity which is a wonderful thing and other activities in other pursuits. But you know. I always feel like it's an opportunity. Missed and also a little bit sad when people work their whole life at something that makes them money. Or even rich the doesn't bring fulfillment so is not right or wrong but my preference and my suggestion would be something that you know has a lucrative opportunity but also something that you really care about that speaks to your soul where you can be of service or help people in their lives or do whatever it. Whatever it is that you can do that. Feels good to you. And that represents an income opportunity for you and your family and anyone you might choose to share those rewards with dean jackson. "There the truth, right they don't care who the names on the list in what order were in on the call sheet. They only know if the lines are funny and if they believe the story. And I love that moment of truth in front of our audience, I respect them so much and I love to play and I love to challenge and push and try things a different way. And see if we can build things or make things even better in heightened them and it's hard not having that group there we have such a like a stable group that shows up all the time, and then we have all the people who come in week to week and I think it's really special to share that with your audience. Yeah, it's an energy that you can feel. Watching it at home just. And is similar way that you probably can't. It's just conveyed very well, and it's just very genuine and authentic and like you said, it's it's comedic truth. It's it's funny and you can feel it. And you know unfortunately it's it's a part of the show that has to be kinda muddled through until until inevitably. We Act to to that place where we're that can return. I will say in regards to that though is we've done a pretty good job of I. Don't think it's changed a lot of the tone of the show which could for a lot of. Productions but were. Were veteran group and then. Our crew they're fun and they're playful. So we get some laughs from them, but they're not cheap laughs. They hold out. So we get a bit of we get a bit of an audience feel from them. So I think that that helps that we get some we do get some feedback. Feels, like feels like you guys probably spend spent all week just trying to refine your stuff to the point where you can just try to make those guys laugh feels like that would be the ultimate goal. Then that is my goal every week my goal is to make someone you know if I can get somebody to choke on their drink or spit something out or. Hold their breath you know and May. Or make them hold a laugh so hard that they after soon as somebody else cut their coughing, that's like mission accomplished. If I can kind of make somebody read faced in and joke about it later that's you know that's the dream scenario for me I'll. We'll look you had a bigger opportunity than usual even for the episode that we're GonNa see this week. This is pretty phenomenal because you know you talked before about your ambitions for directing. Now you get helm for an episode. The second episode of the season I'm not sure if. It was filmed area if it was if it was done that sequence but this is a big one because this is the Halloween episode, and if anybody is familiar with the the legacy again of the connors of Roseanne, Halloween episodes are right up there. I would say right up there with the simpsons Halloween episodes as to some of the most anticipated holiday themed episodes of any Sitcom ever in any era just year in and year out..

"To business rockstars I'm Pat o'brien granddaddy here Michael Fishman is our guest today on Michael all right and president of your cycles tell me about the bike yeah the motorized yes the bike that you're talking about is we're we're just coming out with a bike electric bike which will be our first time ever making electrified title be out in about two months we're gonna be luncheon on Kickstarter and also on our website here and here that's right the bike is really neat because it's really lightweight it has a really small shorter wheelbase which means that it's really easy to maneuver in the city in in the best part about it is that it's it has a electric battery in a move that's right and tell me that I'm one speeding on in the office but it's great to save those things got my vote did you always want to be an entrepreneur yeah I mean going up coming through college and having my friends go to business affairs and having different internships and just seeing what it would be like to work for someone first I have my own company it was always something that was very exciting to me to be able to work for myself and do something I was really passionate about was the main thing work for yourself and not have a boss yeah I think work for myself and then be able to do some and I'm super passion about it's hard to find a job or a company that you know you want to give your all to yes it is first paying job main job was an internship for a commercial real estate company freshman year of college cool learn learn a lot you know it's interesting but yeah I was just skimming the surface you know working as an internship the worst job I had intern for this sports agency which seems like a cool job because I love sports was working with and some NBA players but I was like a ball boy pretty much we go into the work out instead of really like understanding the business side of things so it was cool because I met some cool guys like Russell Westbrook and Derrick rose but you know being the ball the way having fast rations I do just to weren't really national park given started as a ball boy for Indiana the only non through ever came over and talk to the ball noticeable was a nice to how many hours or a day now I mean you know I I really don't like track the hours wake up check my phone game on you know coming home with anywhere from eight to eleven you know working at home so it's working weekends it's not really something I need to track and you know start tracking and he's got a baby on the way right out of a work work maybe more balanced life balance here I think you'll be having to work from home more often you know my wife will be home with the babies full time so you know that'll give me time but if you're not I really she probably is do you have any weird hobbies not weird weird hobbies I mean I when I'm not working I'm playing sports so like this morning we got up at five thirty to play tennis you know like basketball late at night besides working hanging off my wife and my dog is really just playing sports no time to really any any other weird stuff one adjective that might describe you as an entrepreneur passion and work they are motivated motivated every day new ideas yeah every day is always energetic about the business and having good employees to work with people and ideas kind of what motivated who's your who's your favorite mentor when you have one favor mentors my dad just watching him he has owned business he has his own business and accounting practice see him or herself just always being working and growing his practice and we were finding on the show that dad or grandpa they gave pretty much everybody there the original ideas and about working at Cisco good parenting a typical day for you to get up early and work all day that's going to change the baby's different topic you rely on it how many people we have about twenty five people working for us right now and you rely on their advice these bikes together yeah definitely no I didn't come from the bike industry showed had this great idea to start this company in college because we saw a need that college students there wasn't like an affordable cool looking bike for college students so I didn't come from the bike is ready in no calling about bikes so as we as we going on we hire some really great bike experts who helped us develop the product even more in the belt are selling channels and all that stuff so we have we rely on all of our employees makes a difference will actually consular in that business if you have a an employee this route here the apple cart what do you like that crew to to like me or to possible a deplorable employ you know that there is we have a system you know will will we always like to give everyone a chance you know we hire people for a reason we put on the job for a reason and they're not working out because they're being rude you know we have a I know New Jersey policy so whether its employees you know our partners anyone you know you can't be rude to someone so the first step is to sit him down you know you do a performance review you Tellem you know this isn't working for us you see the feedback you see if there were more soul what's going on you know why they're acting out this way usually there's a deeper meaning to it you know even when I was given a second chance see what's going on if it happens again you know it's it's probably not gonna work out working with us we are here to inspire and form a connect the community wants for yours this is business rockstars I'm Pat o'brien Michael Fishman is our guest the co founder president of your cycles and that's a cool like would you hire friends or family yeah so my my two co founders arrest or the business with actually my best friend since kindergarten working on working really well known as ever I mean most people say it never I our family or friends on let me hear that works out never hire Stanley but as far as my friends you know I have just it's such a great level of trust with them and and respect so you know we all we're all good at different things within the business and it worked really well what's your best known in the business what your strength drink this problem in the studio you know it will connect with employees and be organized that would have a good polls on making sure that we're making customer vision too right yeah definitely want to be super important so you're learning and growing as CEO what do you get your new ideas read a lot of new ideas for bicycle yeah I mean it's not like you know yeah bikes been around you know with you know for forever you know so you know there's only so many cool new things you can do a lot of new technology recently in the past you know ten years has been brought is the bike industry by way of electric bikes so that's something that we're getting into right now and and we're really excited about it because we feel like the scan is really a walk cycling as as a means of transportation in cities who's your favorite in our damn one the tiny guys I mean when is there one guy who rock the bike world not necessarily I mean I as you like Kobe Bryant you know I would say you know she's got so far now turned entrepreneur but just a guy who tries to maximize the potential effect every every step believe me and Magic Johnson came way for sure Magic Johnson play car than you don't stop playing thirty one card games go forever what's your management style management style is is laid back I would say you know want to make sure that we hire people the reason we hire them because they're good because we see that they have we have a vision for them like they can accomplish the job given guidelines and let him go and then we have to check in you know if you meet with all the managers my company every Friday so I'm very well versed in what's going on and on and it's a good point to check in really try to be as hands off as possible are you more feared or loved you know I think there's yeah I would I would say look I think I think I don't I think I will like to think of respect need my co founders really set the tone my working really hard I think everyone knows you know when you walk in here here here work here work hard we have a lot of perks with working for us the good you know yeah we have a few games in the office we have three soon we have three years three drinks it's really laid back with you know things will hang out after after work there's a pool table so there's a lot of cool stuff that comes with working there and I think people I can see that you know if your car and then you get to enjoy the other three things that every entrepreneur should know three things a lot more you know three I think the most important thing is like you have to be obsessed with your business because if you're not if it's not going to it's not going to succeed the other thing is we've been talking a lot about team work so far I would say team work is being able to trust whether it's your partners or your employees and I know that specially with your partners it's a marriage so start your business to really make sure that those partners of people that you.

"Hollywood with a dirt alert. Yes. And let's start off this dirt alert by talking about something that sunny touched on in her dirt alert at the top of the hour Aretha Franklin and her estate paying back taxes three million dollars worth of back taxes to the IRS since her death in August this according to an attorney for the late Aretha Franklin. Now the estate is being audited by the IRS, which filed a claim this month in a county probate court in Detroit and earlier yesterday TMZ reported that legal documents that have shown the IRS claimed that Aretha Franklin owed more than six point three million dollars in back taxes from two thousand twelve to two thousand eighteen and as a result of not paying those taxes. She also owed an additional one point five million dollars in penalties. That's insane. I mean, I don't even know like I said before I don't even know how that happens problems that you can't even fathom. You really can't you know, because I who is like, I don't whose fault is that you know, she knows that she's got. People. I don't know if music and voice over, but when I started in voice over my agent told me at the beginning, she said, look, you've got to make sure you put away money because at the end of the year, you might all all a lot of money. Tell me as soon as you get your checks put your money to the side. And I'm always thinking if that's the case, why are so many people. I mean, I'm by no means as big as Aretha, right, but I would presume if that was a a practice or habit that you had at the beginning. Right. Then again, they may not have had someone like my agent to tell them. Because. Five. I'm wisely. Like, you're being wisdom. And that goes with anybody who is a independent contractor if you're right? If you're doing ten ninety nine in any way, shape or form. Yeah. You set aside more than you think that you need you because at the end of the year or at the end of the quarter coming they're coming for you what we say, death and taxes. They want your money. Yes. That is I I'm just amazed. I just how does that happen? But well, okay. So it's getting it's being rectify. It's yes, exactly. Well, here's the thing too. Is that you know with with somebody like Aretha Franklin, but with somebody like Michael Jackson with somebody like prints for so many of those artists even in death. They are still so successful. Yes. That it's not like, they're it's not like like a person like me were when I go. My earning power is going limited. There's the state will continue to be able to make this happen. We'll be able to pay off those debts. We have a hologram of choline. You never know. Podcast. The future is the future is now. Franklin's tax Bill is being settled by her estate moving over to the world of Hollywood and politics. I don't know if you guys are ready for this news Angelina Jolie hinted today that she might enter the world of politics. This is what she told the BBC this morning. She said if you ask me twenty years ago, I would have laughed. I always said I'll go where I'm needed. I don't know if I'm fit for politics. But then I've also joked that I don't know if I have a skeleton left in my closet. She said she's pretty open and out there, and perhaps she is ready to enter the world of politics. She is of course, known for her humanitarian work with the United Nations. So wonderful. But I would also like to remind you all she's also known for wearing a vial of blood around her nagging from her ex husband. She's also known for making out with her brother on a red carpet. Oh, yeah. Let's let's never forget. Never forget. All the skeletons. This is only get under the clause under the cloth. Under the correct. You wanna hide under the bed and invite her ankles like the movie critters? Yes. A trap door out of the closet. Yes. Exactly. Well, what she's shown us is news. Well, it seems for now the Angelina Jolie is going to not make a formal statement on whether or not she wants to enter the world of politics right now. She's pretty happy working with the United Nations with her humanitarian work in Hollywood that makes people go I could totally making politics that frightens me. Realtors. E G O O. Hey, guys. It's fine. I would read it for you an actor. No seriously is ego. It's like, you know, they're they've accomplished so much really the only other platform, they really have to show talented intelligent. They are as politics. But I also wonder like what is the culture in Hollywood. That makes them say. Well, I think part of it honestly is because politics has become a celebrity in and of itself. Present day the world of Washington DC has notably been called Hollywood for. That's why they called what I've never heard that. Before her politics is Hollywood for ugly people. Yes, that is that is a saying, so cruel. Yeah. But remember it's not out of the ordinary to see actors go into the world of politics. Remember, president of the United States nineteen eighty to nineteen Eighty-eight. Mr. Ronald Reagan wants to start co-starred with H pansy on true. Yeah. No he wasn't with Francis. The talking mule that was Donald O'Connor. I take rest. Yes. So anyway. I I will reserve judgment until we hear any official word on Angelina Jolie. Running for any sort of office. All right in the world of celebrity real estate, Kim. And Kanye, but a condo in Miami for fourteen million dollars. It's in the billionaire beach bunker, which is also called the fate of house, which is a high rise condominium complex, meaning that why are you? So puzzled Kelly has. A lot of words, and there's I don't know them. Avenue in south beach, Miami, Florida USA, and it's worth a lot of money. Again. These are problems that you know, we're just never going to be burdened with never no never never in the world of celebrity divorce. Qatar's star the Connor star, Michael Fishman. He plays DJ. He's divorcing his wife of nineteen years that one I thought that nineteen years is a pretty good solid long time. And it's unfortunate that this is kind of running concurrent with the success of the show. He got married when he was just eighteen. Old. So they have two children together. Michael Fishman only thirty seven years old. He has an eighteen year old son named Aaron and Isabel is a high school freshman about fourteen fifteen years old to start up a whole. No kidding. Yeah. Basically. This point. Yes, now, it's young love didn't really work out. So it's okay. Put in a good good effort. Is nothing season. Yeah. No kidding. I wanna tell you some accusations. That are flying before we leave this dirt and it concerns one Grover who lives on the streets. I heard about his body mouth. Yes. Grover from Sesame Street allegedly was cursing in a new video you'll have to hear it yourself. It's the new laurel or Yanni all over again, except courtesy of Grover. You know, sometimes you you drop some naughty words, and and it's okay. So you're going to have to judge for yourself. I'm afraid to play it. Listen kids need to hear it because they're going to hear from the mom. We're not going to hear from my house, but not on the radio. Thank you. All right. Thank you Holly for that delicious. When.

"Getting to know michael fishman and david grad moore unbelievable for my own personal development so each and every player that i i usually analytics as much as anyone i try to you know i i've had a player development background right so that's where i started you know trying to figure out you know what can we do to help this young man get better what paths can we put him on to allow him to reach his his ceiling his goals in life so when i'm watching players i'm constantly thinking okay how how is this guy doing and his personal development recognizing what they need to do and seeing if he's making those critical judgments as you place moving down a lot with that as your is telling you that you think he's going to be a certain type of player and you have the numbers that back it up and you hope that they match up if they don't then it gets a little bit more difficult so you know obviously you guys have an unbelievable sense of controlling the strike zone that's what we want we want guys that once they control the strike zone to impact the ball with extra velocity you know you hear continually time and time again about launch angle and all these different type things if you have type of swing that has the ability to control zone and hit the ball hard good things are going to happen so that's what we look for we have ways to figure out in the analytical world you know if there was if the if the ballpark was neutral in the defense was neutral you know just based on x velocities and and you know launch angles and all those type of things what kind of value are we looking at with this particular player so those numbers that are out there all part of our game we've us numbers forever i i know we have different terms and obviously they're way more advanced now when you talk about enriching you talk about spin accessing talk about botanic chain and how the swing works from the bottom up all those different types of thing is just part of the evolvement of who we are as the.
