"S Attorney for D. C. He spoke during a news conference held alongside the FBI. Late this afternoon, He discussed what police were dealing with as rioters swarm the capital, an emphasis on assault and batteries on police officers, both federal officers. And local MPD officers that were assaulted and and as the days go on, there's going to be more social media and people will recognize that in some instances, and PD and Capitol police weren't open handed combat with somebody's persons inside the Capitol, where tear gas was used on the Capitol, police and federal officers and they were also used against some of these riders. So The picture is gonna build. I think there's a lot of misconceptions about what happened within the capital, and it's going to come into a laser focus. I think over the next weeks and days, and I think people are gonna be shocked with some of the agree GIs contact that happened within the capital. The 30 react assists that our office is also focusing on is we set up a strike force to focus on assault on the media. Some people aren't familiar that some of those riders specifically targeted members of the media and assaulted them. So we have assigned specific prosecutors in our office to focus on those cases as well. And what about the two explosive devices found outside the capital, those two pipe bombs that were found Were found both outside the RNC and the DNC offices near the Capitol grounds and look to begin. They were real devices. They had explosive igniters. They had timers. We don't know obviously, exactly why they did not go off that's being investigated. They were destroyed disabled by Capitol police with the assistance of the A, T F, and that is all obviously being vetted and investigated. What was the purpose of those devices being planned? Wasn't a diversion ery type of a tactic used by somebody. These riders or did have some other type of nefarious purpose. So that is what the 80 f the FBI MPD are looking at, as we speak right now and looking for those persons that planted those devices in terms of the conduct related to planning those, you know, pipe bombs, the mention of domestic terrorism. I mentioned this before. I don't like this tyranny of labels, saying an act of domestic terrorism we have plenty of federal Resource is at our disposal Plenty federal charges to address all of this conduct from felony murder related to the possession and use of destructive devices to seditious conspiracy, you know, under the federal code that has significant penalties and as mentioned with this strike force that was established to focus strictly on sedition charges. We're looking at in treating this just like a significant international counterterrorism or counterintelligence operation. We're looking at everything. Money travel records, looking at disposition movement communication records, so no resource related to the FBI. Or the U. S attorney's office will will be unchecked in terms of trying to determine exactly if there was a command and control how it operated and how they executed these activities. Michael Sherwood, acting U. S Attorney for D C. There's a $50,000 reward for information on who created and left those pipe bombs in D. C last week. The availability of covert 19 vaccines varies around here, depending where you live. Some parts of our area have expanded access to people in the second priority group identified as phase One b. Much of Northern Virginia now is vaccinating people in the phase One be priority group specifically Loudon, Prince William Fairfax and Arlington County's and Alexandria..

"The show that I think is beloved loved on this podcast by pretty much everybody at slash film and I had not given the show a shot yet but this is also on Hulu and I finally my wife and I finally started watching this and I think we're only I don't know ten episodes into the first season or something but we're really liking it so far and it's got a great cast of characters. It's got that same sort of <hes> you know lovely heart that you would expect from something executive producer Michael Sherwood have created or co created and been involved with Dan Gore is the actual show runner there <hes> but yeah the the cast great the the office dynamics are a lot of fun. The situations are <hes> amusing and the the humor is really humor and heart are really good throughout so it's it's like the perfect sort of you know post parks and rec type of Shell if like us you were completely caught up with a good place and waiting for new episodes of that two air I would highly recommend checking out Brooklyn. I know you guys love the show any any other words of praise about Brooklyn nine nine from anyone I I binged watching. I've been five seasons in about a week. It makes me again. That's the high any T._v.. Show and that is wild. Yes so my wife and I are doing the opposite where we're we realized that we have like I don't know one hundred twenty episodes episode or something to watch so we're just sort of taking it slow and luxuriating in the fact that we have all of this content to that will be there for us when we need it so. I don't think we're going to be going through it at that that rocket pacing but I'm glad that it works works well if you decide to do that anyway all right. Let's move on to what we've been eating bread. I think you're the only one who has been trying anything bizarre over the past week. What have you been eating recently so the county fair was in town last last week and there's always something new that <hes> to try to county fair? That's horrifyingly unhealthy. That seems like Ground Zero for your podcast obsession like gotta be like a big deal for you for sure so this this year they <hes> I try the new thing that they had was there was a <hes> food stand that had fried pop tarts <hes> there's always deep fried cookie dough an orioles staff and every and every now and then there's something new that people have decided Oh we can put this in a fryer and so this time it was a pop tart. It was very good. The deep frying <unk> taste like a superior toaster strudel the I it was very fruity and warm and obviously the battery <hes> ads adds more to <unk> they put powdered sugar on top of it as well so <hes> another fun new thing to to deep fry <hes> and then I also found a new serial. There's a new variant of fruit loops out. That's birthday cake fruit loops <hes> they are not good they they don't they don't taste anything like fruit loops and they taste only vaguely like like birthday cake. It was almost closer to like just a plain cupcake kind of flavor with <hes> crunchy surreal texture its is I didn't like it. I was pretty disappointed by them. I was hoping for at least some kind of like confetti cake kind of flavor and cereal but it didn't it didn't work out very well thought that birthday cake fruit loops absorb entire. There are some birthday cake flavor things that are that they capture the flavor pretty well but I guess cereals not a good <hes> four format for him. Yes I don't know <hes> An- Anna Burger King has new crispy Tacos <hes> which seems like he goes against everything Burger King stands for <hes> but this is something that I had had been making the rounds at various like Burger kings in just small <hes> variations it regionally. I think they were testing it out and now it's like it's it's everywhere <hes> they are one dollar Tacos and that.

It's really a huge security hole and with one password you solve that problem. One. "Michael she scots head i mean here this is a direct quote i mean so many good options michael scott obviously john ralfie co adrian prevent joe hitchcock scully as comanagers but the obvious choice of course you sean from the good place okay all right so the these are all choices that michael sherwood would pick in order to destroy the yankees i would have to go a different way obviously and i've thought about this uh we've seen ron swanson manage a sports team he was the coach of a little league basketball team briefly on parks and rec that's what the episode that introduces us to the swanson period of kerman of greatness i love ron he's good at so many things i feel like he's a little too much in the heart asked mode that was gerardy which is one of the reasons gerardy got fired despite being a really good manager for ten years and winning us world series like you need a slightly different direction you need and they've said they want someone who's good a communication who is open to analytics you know who can relate to young people uh i think the answer has to be leslie nope because lesley is great at everything first of all including better at most things that rondos than rana's they've they serve established that of different points including hunter she's is open analytics because she's married ban which means she likes numbers or lease will listen to nerds who like to talk about numbers she is good at can relating the young people look at what she was able to do with april ludde gate over the run of that show and how april blossomed under leslie's mentorship she is great a communication she hides nothing about her feelings she's really enthusiastic she is the temperamental opposite of georgia ardy leslie nope for yankee victory.
