"I think we i feel like we've proposed hauling gasoline but somewhere in between holland's three rd or fourth or fifth fight. Last year. I feel like we have definitely brought up holland. Gasoline is an option. We just didn't win when gasoline was coming back so That would have happened last year. Gasoline was was gonna get booked for last year. Lots of options for calvin -gratulations on the win Good guy and he's back in the win column as we head to the hobby the feather bantamweight division. Yeah it's it's a good division. Whatever it is. The or is a brian. Kelleher called the division Ricky simone represents team mullet picks up a unanimous decision win over team crystals. Brian boom kelleher. The aforementioned brian kelleher is a fun scrap. Simone did his thing. The guy's a tough man and he wants a rank guide next. So are you ready to give it to make a. Are you ready to give rookie. Simona guy with a number next to his name. I have to check if this guy's ranked. Because i i don't know if this guy now but let me. I say i just love i. I know he lost. I just love the brian kelleher. I'm fighting one hundred forty five pounds during this pandemic strategy. He's four straight fights now at one forty five. But i i liked that we all kind of understand. These are bantamweight by these are bantamweight. Fights guys aren't cutting weight. Hunter as your bantamweight cody steven bantanweight. Ray rodriguez bantamweight and now simone. Benjamin coach name has done it too and then some cody. Stamen has taken a couple of fights at one forty five as well so guys. This is smart. I don't know. I know it's easier maybe in this division And maybe flyweight as well because it was just the ten pound difference maybe is a welterweight and middleweight. Light heavyweight can't really do that But i wish they could. I wish i wish lies. I'm not screw it. I'm not cutting wait. I'm going up and fighting. It like to. Oh five pounds. And i'm just having a big turkey big steak dinner the night before But yeah i mean these guys are the right idea. So hopefully they keep up with that. Yes the name i'm thinking of is ranked official rankings. He certainly in ranked in my own rankings as well bit of jumble here i don't have them in my top fifteen. I want to see this rematch. It's been mentioned on the show for another hat to reader. Michael pair. Jeannie volley rematch. It's time it is time. The we fight fallout right. He was supposed to by statement. Yes yes yes yes that have yet. So that that doesn't get i. I don't know if that's going to be booked. I would like to see him fights simone again. I fight april twenty eighteen. A lot of controversy fight murad was winning until the end. And then we had the the that bizarre guillotine guillotine choke feet kind of kicking and was murrah. Al was ninety recovered right away. So i think that's an unanswered question And as the official rankings wash really is higher he. Oh he's right there. ricky. Simone is not so there we go so i think some oh absolutely be down for that. This is tough because bantamweight schist and we talk about this weekly on the show. It's just so deep with talent and so good so good. Simone is a problem like he proved it again on saturday. I just don't know and it's kind of like the problem. Has and i don't think it's to the same level as miranda's marine does in there is just freakish and i know simone is a win over him but this is not a lot of top fifteen guys. We're gonna be like. Oh boy ricky simone. Yeah hey let's fight that guy. I don't know like you could do. Maybe hafi son ceo marl mariah seems like an interesting option. Maybe a cody stayman. But if he does that it's something you probably have to turn around quickly to do. But he just fought like twice in three weeks. So i don't see like the need to do that So in fortunately probably going to have to take another fight outside of the top fifteen. Maybe inside the top twenty five and i personally. I don't like to match make winners from the same card unless it calls for it. But some overseas chris gutierrez seems like a fun match up to me. Because how good are your take downs when gutierrez is them tree trunks on your thighs and your calves. It sucks like i felt bad for andrea. you'll watch that final. Like oh my god. I can't imagine the pain. This man is an in. Gutierrez is looking to take that next step as well. The guys unbeaten his last five fights andrea. You'll is a tough out and this is a no doubt went on the cards. This wasn't like a controversial decision whatsoever. He went in there and blasted him in that third round. I like it. I actually think that's what ends up happening here. And the winner of this fight gets very. Close that top. Fifteen if not like in the top. Fifteen itself ak fight How amazing is that gutierrez by the way was able to implement those like technique which was just invented by doesn't like a month ago i you know. According to kind of gregor there was no way. There was no way to see that technique coming. It's like kicking my leg. What's i was not expecting this. So chris gutierrez my goodness Well done well done studying that footage and br bringing in kicks this is. I'm just saying it on this. This is probably a little bit late on the bandwagon. Now but this might be the hot new technique twenty twenty one so I love your love to see how simone would navigate those. He's so explosive he's so fast. But yeah those leg kicks man. They they The slow you down a bit this little annabi view of the first round. You might make it out of there. But you're not going to be happy so Yeah i i i like that too. I i agree. It just doesn't look like there's a top of dean our top ten top ten opponent For simone right now. That makes lot of sense main card we go to the. Mvp we go to the mvp jillian marquez. What a story. What a comeback. He's down two rounds. Tamaki potolo needs a finnish. And between james krause kind words probably as majlis party in the usa blasting in his brain heading in that third round he comes from behind submits machi. Potolo just the stuff you love to see in the sport after being out for almost a thousand days i win it almost four years just absolutely remarkable and as heroic and as much as we love jillian marquez. Right now we're not pushing this man to high. We just want to see him fight. We just want to see him. Have fun fights where his can shine. And i was thinking about this. When i woke up this morning and i was like you know this is one of those situations where you just can't go wrong. There's no wrong answer. But there's no like real right answer until it hit me ak there is a right answer and to me. There's only one answer. the answer. Is john young park because these two guys with these two personalities going out there and just having a good old time for our enjoyment..

"From your off anyway. Good good good for you Rosie. Next GET THAT. Get that real money. That's what's happening in the news or is it. Do we have a little breaking news? Time Pella Sarah reports the NFL an NFL. Pa have reached agreement that a voluntary offseason program including some virtual training virtual practices is going to start in April twentieth couple of weeks but probably the key thing here is that not Rubio. Go back onto the field until all thirty two facilities are able to be opened. So it's Yeah. It's a good rule but basically no one is allowed to practice until all thirty two states out thirty two teams rather like back on the field and why is that notable name an area of the country that has not been hit hard by cove in one thousand nine hundred if that country area of the country has a football team there. They can't get a jump-start while the jets and giants as an example are still completely You know dealing with all the mayhem that cove nineteen is presenting so that makes a lot of sense. Virtual training is that seems I mean basically. They're doing the classroom stuff that they would do in the facility where they're meeting with their position coach going over some playbook stuff it links the NFL into political circles. As much as it's ever been because you're going to have certain governors. I mean for very good reasons simply refusing to open anything up in certain states where others are. GonNa push and you're GONNA have there will be you know the NFL's knocked me able to control that at all. I think it's it's a fascinating time and the idea that they're going to like open things up in a couple of months to me seems. Does anyone feel wildly impossible right now? I don't think there's any expectation that anyone's practicing before training camp. So yes they're not gonNA announce this is about the offseason program to be clear. This is only about the. Oj minicamp period. And yet the answer. Your question it would be shocking if to me if if anyone is practicing any. Ot's many camps if the NFL PA is like the rest of society. They're going to point out. After this is over we can virtually do all this stuff. We don't have. We don't have to gather each April to do this. Fair Point Fair Point. Same thing about going into the office. Let's just YEP exactly. My kids go back today daycare but that part is essential. Get the kid. Yeah the PODCAST. Use can use a little in person we can. We can stand to be together. I I still adults. They out of pants. Kids go back to school. Dan will be in Westchester New York in six months at this continues all right. Let us move on all right. It's the man really the greatest journalists in the history of the around the NFL podcast. I feel like that's the way we got to step this up because we talk about almost every article that rolls out from the New York Post Sports Media Guy Andrew Marchand first of all. Let's all right there of the New York Post Andrew Marshawn now I thought it was marching initially and is a New York guy for years thought that was marching west piped in and said no he thought it would have been Marchand. He might have heard it. Please settle at right now on the around the NFL podcast. Well I know this. This has been a huge debate on the podcast. My brother Michael. He's a huge fan of your bag. So He's been giving me the updates of how does their last name. Brothers one of the George Steinbrenner fantasy football players will offend anybody. So He's been updating me keeps you listen to you guys like literally every week so he knows every joke sandwich jokes is updated means. I'm ready for this podcast. It's more fans. I you say our lives and over four. I want people I'm like. I don't know I'm flustered right now. That was somehow still got it wrong. It really should be like March and it really should be S H. I'll give you that. The French is more Sean. We have French cousin so Marshawn give you that but people can get into wrong forever. All right well we have that fair enough settled at least Andrew Like I said we. There's one thing about in your brother knows this. We are obsessed with the soap opera around Monday night football. And what's going on in that booth and your reporting has been stellar For a long time. Now I mean I feel like you've been ahead of the curve on this and people are kind of falling your reporting to find out what's going on the latest of course was Drew brees that. Espn had an eye on him for after his retirement that he would slide in to the booth but it turns out based on airport late last week that he is actually going now to NBC after his retirement maybe setting up with Notre Dame getting some reps there and then maybe replacing Chris Collins worth download down the road so just in terms of an overview in the saga of Monday night. Football what what has made this so interesting to you and something that is important to report on in this media speer as you've gone along through the weeks and months of this I I I let me just correct you why none of this is important. Obviously you guys like allied. I love it as well Listen when you look at Monday night. Football IT'S BEEN OPERA. Half a century and that booth is one of the historic bunts in history or sports gassing which is a big deal and I mean when people joking about not being important but these. Espn pay is nearly two billion dollars out of broadcast the games each season and these announcers make millions of dollars and people have a lot of opinions on it so it is interesting especially to an audience like yours football for Monday night because even though the ESPN hasn't been the best games of that booth is the most scrutinized in it largely. I think because if you look at like a Sunday afternoon in your local market a lot of times you like local team or red zone or have a Sunday package where you can watch your team. So you're focused on that on Mondays at the end of the fantasy weekend. You might have that still play. But then you're really into the game and bet on it. But the announcement game announcers more to the forefront. So I think for that reason guys like Joe Tests in McFarland. There's a lot of pressure on that booth. Even the Games aren't as big so you look at the history and the I think they've really laxed Sess IN THE BOGOR MOBILE. A couple years ago. It was the worst. It history of ideas. And so you know so that would mean a really a fascinating Peyton. Manning was also a part of this. I thought my favorite twist so far by the way was Romo reabsorbed. Cbs AND ESPN was hot. Romo but CBS did what they had to do to keep them. They pivot at the dream. Peyton manning Al Michaels pairing Is what ESPN according to reports. They had their eye on. They got turned down twice. There was with the Al Michael Situation. Was that ever something that was close to happening where he would jump ship from Sunday night. Football too and jump networks of from Nbc TO ESPN and Peyton Manny thing. At what point does someone in your position? Andrew get to stop reporting about Peyton manning being in the booth because pain doesn't want to be in a couple of things so ESPN did think. There was a path to Peyton and AL as a combination. I think the to you AL michaels likely wouldn't go. Espn unless there was a marquee guy next to only pay manning's big as you can get In terms of names and and potentially developing to a big booth So the way could possibly work does that. Allie has two more years left on his contract. Might to Rico's already signed their models a legend in the in the booth. He's he'll be seventy seven after these two years at Super Bowl two years from now He doesn't have any Plans to retire so you know. Could there be something worked out where we went to. Espn had the right analysts. I think that's possible history. There you know. Of course he was at Monday night. Football forever paint manning's concerned. Yeah you're under center. I can tell proven otherwise. He doesn't want to do it any. I don't think they offered him from. I was told Buddy But it was ten plus million dollars and eighty doesn't have to do what he's made more than a quarter billion on the field and who knows how much off of it so he doesn't need to broadcast and it is the time commitment for a guy like him. You know normal. People work four months five months three days a week including travel in just three. And that's not a lot but that disrupts is light. They can't really tell them to play by play. Guy Is and you guys know the manning's want everything perfect and so hard to believe he's going to do a point but he's only going to do it right then like everything's exactly lines up. You reported on breezy and I wonder like have ESPN NBC or ESPN. When they were involved given any idea that it's just going to be one year until he's in the booth because Sean Payton kind of hinted. Maybe he's only back for one year but the contracts for two years and then it's almost like this broadcast deal almost makes it seem like they're announcing drew brees is retirement for drew brees. Yeah most people will be like. It's going to be one year. I saw chop eight and said that's what to be X. Think but then like you said he has a two year contract. They do well or he wants to play the year. I mean I don't think there's anything Precluding him from doing that so I think this contract will be waiting for them whenever he retires. From football so It's interesting. I think drew was smart to make the deal now because the thing is about Tony Romo that people maybe to understand the one hundred eighty million dollars. It's a ridiculous sum and however you look at it even after. Explain all this you're gonNA say yeah that's ridiculous some. I'm not trying to convince you. One hundred eighty million dollars cents but the reason it happens is everything broke right for Tony. Romo especially the fact that number one. Cbs research support. Have Your booth correct. Go into that but more importantly number two is which I should put number two number one of his more board but anyway the is that the NFL deals up and so going into this contract negotiations all of these companies Their television is built around the NFL. It's the top fifty programs almost every single one of them are NFL Games. And so they won't have the best chance to to Continue with the NFL. And so that's why Romo everything when exactly right. I don't think people are going to make an eighteen million dollars will go up a little bit. You know troy makes six and a half seven and a half will get the ten eventually. Maybe but he's not getting eighteen. I really really dealt. Espn seems to be throwing some big numbers around at unproven guys. Do you sense. This is more about the fact that they are not impressed with anybody. Currently analyzing Games on Sundays or is it more about just needing the big name. Yeah I think that's a little bit of a misnomer because I think when you look at the Romo negotiations. Now they repaired all from one hundred and forty million dollars over ten years which is a crazy amount. Obviously got Cbs higher offered one hundred. Eighty million for manning I you know. I know there's a report saying that they're gonNA from twenty million I. That's from everything. I reported Abban. That's not true that they were only GonNa go. Maybe twelve to fourteen. I say only but still a lot of money. Don't get me wrong for two degrees now. You understand what the breeze ESPN They is Cyprus entity. Spn WORTH A contract offer. That I believe was for ten plus million dollars and they said no because drew brees is unproven Today are in the six and a half million dollar range and they could add this Wrapped up but you're in the middle of pandemic Just reported today. You Spin Had some guys like Stephen a Smith and at and Scott compelled their highest earners of Athens. Fifteen percent pay-cut for the next three months. And so you add all that up. And you know they're gonNA BE THEY'RE GONNA try to be smart about it and I think when you look at it. Yeah it looks like ESPN has gone over four but if you look at each circumstance you're gonNA understand. Why get each guy the only guy you could say no they could have had him was Juburi and again to me. Yeah drew brees Could really good. But he's never done it and you know. I'm not sure I've talked a lot of people. Tv You know do the producers broadcasters and he'll be really good. Some aren't sure I do it again. Be Giving them a good game. Plan do Notre Dame. Do The pregame show at the big eye on the video. Can't sit on the broadcast but Tom is getting ready for the camera in here. Is that you that it's IT'S A. It's a nice ramp. They've given them that. He can improve at Notre Dame and then also do the bringing show and then possibly be ready to do Senate night football and potentially a super bowl. I was doing a little bit of homework on you..

"Here on CBS sports radio and we've got some interesting news in the booth so there's a lot of things going on right now al Michaels apparently is on the trade block you there's discussions right now of trading for a broadcaster which is crazy because this like never happens I didn't even prior to this story breaking a couple days ago I'd never heard of this ever being a thing so what is going on right now we're trying to remake the Monday Night Football booth because the Monday Night Football booth of last couple of years there's no other way to put it it's just been a disaster in a lot of ways to because once you had Jason Witten and that didn't work out and he went back to playing to get out of the booth to do it as gracefully as possible easily L. I guess I'll just keep playing we'll do that again so he leaves the booth yeah while they were in there or while he was in the booth with them now on the bed broadcaster just talking about I can't get out of my mouth you had the booger mobile on the sideline that got people really bent out of shape just these big massive playing roaming around in front of the people on the front row seats and then the like K. you're blocking the game for people who are paying for the most expensive tickets that's probably not a good idea no I okay we got a solution they put a TV on the back of the book above peel the broadcast the gate to the people who pay to be front row lots of things like that so the Monday Night Football booth has been messy they're trying to figure out a new solution they went all in on Tony Romo Tony Romo ended up making seventeen million dollars a year people at seventy million dollars a year that's too much for Tony Romo and they were completely wrong about that Tony Romo is absolutely worth seventeen million dollars a year because when you think about the quality of the broadcast does matter there's times in this this is one of those things that happen via your secure car and your drive in and its other talk shows on or a song is on air just sub consciously you just like bam you just hit the button but sometimes I've done that and I pull it that day I do a lot but part of it is you can just feel without even really thinking you can feel something is good or not if you're watching a TV show you might watch it for a minute or two ago like and this is kind of good this is and a broadcaster is something that's going to bring some life to it if they're good at it and so having Tony Romo in the enthusiasm that he brings to the table because that he's got to look at all these different subs like both quarterbacks checking into this I would look at that guy down the bottom the screen hearing aids you know like Romo having those kinds of moments adds life to the program it gets you as a fan so excited and you feel like you learn more that's one of the good things about getting a really great play by play guy the early color color color commentary guy is they can give you information that you weren't aware of they can highlight a plate away you weren't aware of and then your average fan I understand the game better so that's great Peyton manning you gotta figure is going to be really good at that and so for them trying to reorganize the Monday Night Football booth and going after Peyton manning and and maybe he gets twenty million dollars a year to do it you know what I think that's worth the risk a Peyton manning twenty million dollars if that's what it takes do it he could be good at that job manning is good at everything right he's a great quarterback one of the best quarterbacks you've ever seen he did SNL it was hysterical right it's just there's no reason to believe the Peyton manning will not be good in the booth and so I'm excited for that I hope it comes together in part of that is the idea of getting al Michaels paired with Peyton manning now this this is just my theory and I've seen this floated around but I I subscribe to the idea that Peyton manning probably once al Michaels in the booth with him if he's going to go into the pool Peyton does does he need to do it do you think Peyton manning is hurting for money I only got a phone get this broadcast he he's fussing with his wife like every day gets always like oh my god honey if I don't get this gig I don't know what I'm gonna do no he's Peyton manning he is printing money he's living a great life but there is a possibility that he could now go into the booth and with that a lot of money without Michaels all of that could come together that's a good thing for everybody get the quality of the broadcast you want to see that you get more investment that you notice one of broadcasters backed this sometimes you turn it on and you're just like oh my who who that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my life who just said that now you might say that when you listen to my show Latin thing very much but there is something to be said for bad broadcasting and the problems that causes I mean we're talking about football right office of line to the same thing if it's a good offensive line you don't necessarily think about it but usually you realize that things are going good on some level you understand things are good and you enjoy it when it's bad it's a train wreck and it really sticks out and so seeing that Peyton manning and al Michaels could be the pairing for what we get here in the booth going forward I'm all for that I think that's good for the sport if they have to make that trade and trade for al Michaels then do that in one of the fun things that we've been doing tonight over the course of the show is we had a little discussion earlier what would be more useful with forty eight million dollars because al Michaels you gotta figure fifteen to twenty somewhere in that range Peyton manning rumored to be twenty million dollars to gather those guys could be forty million dollars in the broadcast booth for Monday Night Football it's a lot of money forty million dollars but also somebody who could be forty million dollars this year dak Prescott dak Prescott could get a contract worth forty million dollars you kind of wonder like all right if you're gonna spend forty million dollars what's a better use of that money or you better spending it on al Michaels and Peyton manning is that a good wise investment or is dak Prescott a better investment now the Twitter poll has not been kind to dak Prescott I'll say that is not very good right now al Michaels at Peyton manning eighty two percent dak Prescott eighteen percent for what's a better use of forty million dollars and you can vote on that pole at it's Vince Quinn but again I did mention earlier al Michaels is up on the trade block to make all of this happened now Peter Schwartz is is joining us in the studio is doing the updates this morning hello Peter good morning Sir so Peter did you know that al Michaels was previously traded I yes he was yes hello do you know what he was treated for he was a he was supposed to be on the ABC Monday Night Football team when they first got my football yeah and when John Madden decided not to go went to NBC al Michaels want to go to NBC so they treated us so ESPN ABC traded al Michaels with a contract about Michael's to NBC I think it was for some cartoon series or something like it will wrap it our ball rabbit you have all the lucky rabbit rabbit yes which was apparently created before Mickey Mouse the first cartoon ever from Walter I understand the moderates and cash considerations in that deal in hopes but also because if al Michaels fell down he just got traded for a car to that nobody had ever heard about that as a very catchy theme song by the way yeah that's what he's traded for you gotta figure out Michael's let go ballistic right yeah I just I cannot tell you the other thing too is a prime McCain's running the board today yeah no price you have to change or do you still have that exchange between the executives about Oswald the lucky rabbit all right so he's going to pull that up in a minute there's a great exchange as the trade negotiations were going okay what are like what is it like with two executives or heads of massive national networks what is it like for two people in charge of massive super valuable companies to get no room to have a conversation like that about the value of a broadcaster to trade yeah it's it's it's such a fascinating thing you want like I I don't know what you trade records for like typical MBA stuff for NFL stuff for hockey or whatever you know what the terms are generally right right right pick in draft picks cash considerations all that kind of thing so like I I didn't even know and like the conversations now what do you think they're actually talking about free trade for al Michaels are you there there's gotta be ever cut in it in a in a talk like that in negotiations like that I would imagine there's got to be pizza involved in it imagine there's got to be some adult beverages yes it is time for that that's very important so I would think so if al Michaels was literally traded for like a lifetime supply of beer to the executive could you could you do that I think so well either way you would get me to think to what what if what if another radio network came to CBS sports radio yeah he said we want things quick that won't happen I have not logged in nobody's little like V. I heard Vince Quinn crazy do you have a no trade clause in your contract contract I think I don't even know if I'm getting paid then nobody's untouchable yeah I don't have a no trade so if some another radio networking that the executives at CBS sports radio and said we want Vince Quinn yeah okay what would it take to make that happen money be like Hey take a self styled regarding the deal you know I'm not worth much I I don't think my trade value is very high I think so I don't know I I would hope it's good I hate you but you would have to you would be you would be like in treating you would be you have a good feeling about yourself at another network we would work so hard to try to get you know for sure and hopefully I'll get treated for something more than Oswald the lucky rabbit right that's how I got out Michael's a sitting at home in California thinking to myself I'm not leaving NBC well yeah I'm not I'm not leaving the best package of games for what they have on Monday night and that's location yes so here's here's something that I want to get to know so Brian McCann run on the board he's got the exchange between the executives when they had the discussion about treating al Michaels for a cartoon from the nineteen twenties so is that what was that exchange of NBC sports the time Dick Ebersol and Bob Eiger the CEO of Disney so Bob your calls him and says I'm willing to talk to you about letting al go to NBC but I have to but I gotta have Oswald the lucky rabbit back and Dick response with what and Bob responds with yeah you heard me right I gotta have Oswald the lucky and Dick Ebersol response who or what the blank is Oswald the lucky rabbit you've got guys a bit we're dealing with one of the most iconic broadcasters in America and the other side of the trade negotiation is a completely unknown commodity of a nineteen twenties card albeit that looking rather catchy al Michaels is like I mean I was well I bet they didn't ask for our like Mickey Mouse or Manila gorilla or Scooby doo for somebody this Oswald the lucky rabbit that was the deal it's two thousand and six Jackson's yeah I think it's already bad absolutely unbelievable so you gotta love it that that that was the tree before so who knows what L. Michael's gonna get traded for next but I can't wait to find out hold Hogan had a cartoon series many years ago yes he did you know you and I can't believe I was involved in a transaction that may I used to watch it Saturday morning yeah it's so great I can't imagine how bad that you also lucky rabbit hole the lucky rabbit yeah I all right so my prayers that my vitamins and watch the whole company cartoon that's I don't cook it wasn't having vitamins at that time I think you said it's a little stronger but you know because that's life.

"Dot com slash why I'd be okay let's have a look at how the Asian trading day is is shaping up not really much coming in the way of head wind or tail wind from a New York we did see the street of dreams pretty much close on change it is bluemix run good if I think if you're long equity markets rich the main takeaway is at least you're not giving back a lot of the gains that we've seen in September of course those gains on the back of a disastrous August but we're sort of consolidating here it seems like investors just don't have anything really out there to to push markets higher and so we're treading water even with the fed meeting even with the US China trade talks getting underway yes to be five hundred and finished flat for the day still three thousand six though so holding above three thousand the nasdaq did gain about a tenth of a percent the Dow gave back about two tenths of a percent were largely positive looking at futures here in the Asia Pacific hang Seng index futures up two tenths of a percent China futures up one tenth of a percent Australian futures also higher Nikkei futures flat the dollar is a little bit weaker but not by much the Dalian now one oh eight oh three the euro at a dollar ten Yasser Chinese currencies weakened a little over the past couple of days were pushing seven ten here against the US dollar WTI crude fifty eight dollars and eighty one cents one of the questions are most interested in is whether or not you get a sort of middle of the road deal between the US and China is it enough to turn around all the water that's under the bridge and by water under the bridge it's like look at the Chinese economy how much it is suffered can you really. turn that around now with the deal look at the brand equity in American companies how they are suffering in China is a deal enough to flip the switch Saddam out let me ask the question maybe it's too late is that what you're implying will have to wait and see maybe yes that's what I'm implying it it may be too late but it's the most interesting question let's see if we even get a deal and then we'll worry about whether not things turn around I was speaking of deals we have Chinese trade officials visiting American farms next week no US agriculture secretary Sonny Perdue said this delegation is scheduled to visit Montana for three days beginning Monday it's really angered building good will between the US and China as these lower level talks enter a second day tomorrow in Washington now earlier today White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow said the prospects of a deal have turned more optimistic well Bloomberg's chief Asia economics correspondent ended current says clearly the talks are at a critical stage if the mood music out these mid level official talks is good enough that they can proceed to the next level the higher level with vice premier Liu and his counterparts treasure communication and I'm traverse the divide either then it's just okay to some momentum here maybe it will I'd grist for the mill for his idea that there's going to be a near term truce agreement if none of that happens then it shows the both sides really are digging in so that was the sunshine right here come the dark clouds White House adviser Michael pairs of Pillsbury was interviewed by the South China morning post and he said the U. S. could potentially raise the current level of terror of two fifty percent even one hundred percent were shot. well let's talk about apple now is it and is it making progress in its effort to avoid tariffs on products which are made in China which of the review process is still under way back in July president from signal relief from tariffs would be rejected but he later told reporters we work it out mock ni cads is Bloomberg news infrastructure reporter. because apple is trying to get out from the additional twenty five percent cost that these terrorists would have on specific products components particular that go into the macbook pro apple's wants to use products components from China to make the new macbook. ten of apple's fifteen requests have progressed into the third in near final stage of review the company so far in the US for exclusions on a mac pro parts and accessories getting this hot headline over the Bloomberg terminal Facebook is saying that company CEO mark Zuckerberg had a constructive meeting with president trump we know that the heavy hand of Washington has been looming over some of the big tech giants in Silicon Valley and there's been a lot of talk about the possibility of forcing these companies to break up given the view that they may be anti competitive in their foot print well today qual way launched its first high end smartphone since the company was blacklisted by the U. S. the Chinese tech giant unveiled its mate thirty and make thirty pro in terms of hardware these devices certainly pack a punch including five G. capability however the software is a different story you see the phones run a free open source version of Google's android operating system that's because the U. "Sound cloud iTunes ricochet wherever you want I I'd appreciate it consider you a personal friend if you subscribe to it so we're talking about of course the news all the news it's going on and the president addressed the nation today we already played the entire exchange almost the entire exchange with the president and the media that led to the Charlottesville Donald Trump share their girlfriend people an enemy or not to supply that persists to this day there are people who you can play that video for and they will say yeah but no I don't care Donald Trump says they're very fine people even though he explicitly said I'm not talking about them talking about everybody else there are people in newsrooms across this country who about him Donald Trump they've priced near **** said very fine people they have to rats no Donald Trump is not a race is not a very very fine people they just wake up in a cold sweat right merry fine people okay so the president did hold a press conference about an hour ago not that long ago so this is fresh off the presses Victorian Michael Piercy have cut up some of the relevant parts of the president's statement that he read today I love how the me like a president must come out he must unequivocally do it if he does it like he's still it wasn't unequivocal enough he probably had his fingers crossed or something like that that'll be that the narrative their word there is nothing literally nothing the president Carter said today caller said yesterday because said Saturday that would make a difference to the liberal narrative so in that sense this was an exercise in futility but for normal Americans he wanted to address them not journalists so let's listen to the first cut here to present the First Lady and I join all Americans in praying and grieving for the victims their families and the survivors we will stand by their side for ever we will never forget these barbaric slaughters part assault upon our communities an attack upon our nation and a crime against all of humanity we are outraged and sickened by this monstrous evil the cruelty the hatred and malice the bloodshed and the terror pretty unequivocal there I'm sure CNN right now is talking about how Donald Trump didn't go far enough you can never go far enough for people who move the line constantly where's the line now CNN it's wherever you want this just this side of you so no matter where you move it's never good enough this is why you should never try to placate the ma this is why you should never apologize to liberal mom Mario Lopez saying that three year olds should be able to choose their own gender and start getting hormone treatments you probably as a parent should stop that every year three year old boy he says I'm a girl he said okay well let's schedule the surgery and start giving you massive doses of hormones you probably shouldn't do that Mario Lopez is now being chased out of his job chased out of polite society and Hollywood for saying something that is undoubtedly unquestionably accurate you should be messing with the biological chemical makeup of a child's body because a three year old doesn't know anything get a memory from when you're three years old I bet you don't you imagine making a life altering choices can you imagine being labeled a bigot and a monster for pointing out that you shouldn't let three year olds make life altering choices you're sitting there going what happened to this country well liberalism happen to this country so no matter what the president says today is never going to be enough the narrative is set the die is cast the signs have been sent to the printers by the presidential candidates they're not about to throw those on the ash heap of history no way they spent good money on that anyway here's more of the president the shooter in el Paso posted a manifesto online consumed by racist hate in one voice our nation must condemn racism bigotry and white supremacy the sinister ideologies must be defeated Hey it has no place in America hatred warps the mind ravages the heart and devours the soul we have asked the FBI to identify all further resources they need to investigate and disrupt hate crimes and domestic terrorism Hey it has no place in America sounds like a call to arms against the media the media of course we'll talk about how insincere the president as he was reading the statement he isn't reading this statement his tone is just didn't seem as though he was into it if he'd gone out there and sounded as his normal self they were said his tone was highly inappropriate he was too jovial for the situation there is literally nothing he can say except maybe just maybe even come out there and say today I'm calling for a ban on all firearms and the confiscation of every weapon that is out there in the country then maybe Democrats will get on board but I doubt it I bet they argument would be Donald Trump is a second amendment monsters suddenly Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer at and their armies would become the biggest fans of the second amendment and we could not possibly ever do such a thing so I I already I already know what the media is going to say I guarantee right now doesn't even have it on in the studio but CNN and MSNBC they'll have their highly paid analysts up there Ellie why didn't make the statement yesterday what took so long why did the president wait so long the nation needed him and this is going to sound a little cold hearted I don't even know if I should say H. I. say something this cold hearted might appear Michael pair she says I should say it so it's on him the nation is shocked and disgusted by the acts of these monsters on Saturday but I don't think it is wrapped in anybody's lives except for the people directly impacted in the area did it did it give you pause did it because you are a are you ruined now is you I do not go to work today I think these politicians out there expressing righteous indignation do you think they really care do you think Cory Booker sat quietly in the back of his limo zine and cried to himself in a moment of contemplation what do you think he got together with his strategists and said what do we need to say how can we get on top of this this is an opportunity here people I'm a cynic I know I'm a cynic but I don't know that that's a cynical view you think that's a realistic view and part of human nature you can look at a tragedy anywhere in the world and go my god those poor people and then you go to work the next day then you get on with your life the media and the left wants to pretend they want to inspire people to to paralyze them with fear and anger and they want to direct that anger they wanted direct that fear they want to control people through that emotional people are not a thinking people people do not rationalize well when they're in an emotional state that's why the left gives people so worked up there either angry or afraid or both this is a horrible country they're all out to get you racists are everywhere the system is rigged you can't get ahead don't bother to try but don't worry we'll run blocker for you will protect you their protection look at the protection that they've offered Detroit look at the protection they've offered in Chicago in Chicago how many dozens of people were shot over the weekend how many of them were mentioned in the night we knew it was more people than were shot in Dayton no big deal not it's just another day it's just black on black violence the the purveyors the guardians against racism looking Chicago it's just a pile of black bodies moving on that can't help us publicans haven't even smelled control in sixty years in Chicago more than sixty years we can't blame this on Republicans Chicago has incredibly tight gun control laws you can't really own a gun in Chicago so we can't use it to advance the agenda they might as well have not happened and so they ignore it and they sit frothing at the mouth waiting for an opportunity any opportunity to come through to slam Republicans anything above the shooters white well and it's a huge problem we got to go after it how sick do you have to be to look at here port of a horrible incident you go what was what was a skin color the perpetrators okay should like it did note that doesn't fit and they got a little slide rule the the intersection alley slide rule that every progressive is issued right out of college all right now I can't do it not this doesn't advance the agenda I want to play you a bit of audio from that defined the cut it is Jonathan Karl from ABC news over the weekend talking to Mick Mulvaney it's cut seventeen here and this goes back to the the Charlottesville life and the way that they do these sorts of things you have Jonathan Karl and Mick Mulvaney and Mick Mulvaney is the chair presents acting chief of staff John the car was sitting in for George novel of I guess on this week listen to the exchange here go ahead make why has the president downplayed the threat of white nationalism I I don't think he did I don't think he has a look at what he said yesterday and then this without any reservation which was so everyone so I don't think that's fair good good good to read the president's words because back short she was asked directly do you see today white nationalism is a rising threat around the world in his answer I don't really I think it's a small group of people that have a very very serious problem he downplayed the threat of white nationalism was he wrong to do that no indeed I did I don't believe that's downplay look when he said that he said all he does is it that's what the last sense I don't have in front of me read the lessons Mick Mulvaney thought it was a tweet Jonathan Karl ABC news put his own spin on those words he said I don't really just a couple of people crazy around the world this quote was not from between the German car was reading this was from a White House event a press scrum in the oval office the day after the Christ Church terrorist attack massacre New Zealand we still didn't know everything that we have going on down there yet but in the press scrum Terry Moran of ABC news oddly enough actually asked president trump that question now why wouldn't an ABC news employ play video of another ABC news employee asking the president this question they have it in their archives they're the ones you know that was their guy doing it why because anything you want you can add your own intonations to reading a dry quote which is what Jonathan Karl did the quote the clip isn't very long it took more time to go back and forth because Mick Mulvaney was arguing that's not what he was saying then it would have to just play the audio for art for him play the video for him they chose to read it dry on ABC news on a show littered with clips littered with clubs I got clubs all over the place they chose their own guys let's ignore Moran asking the question and I'll just read the quote now why well we have the actual exchange now listen to the president not only the words he says but how he says it in see if you think that that is down playing in dismissing as Jonathan Karl characterized it national wind threat around.

"Roll talent the most clench moment. Get it. Tough call. I mean, even the jersey numbers, but maybe the best way to this debate played out. Hid hid LeBron James MJ's commercial as a personal challenge tweeting. I'm ready. Oh, maybe were never mind back to. Bowl grim Bron here with some good humor. But we got to turn this into who would win Michael Jordan. Lebron James one on one in their primes. I got Michael Jordan, all the way, I gotta respect basketball players, and I'm just gonna say LeBron James, but it's gotta say before I just come in here. I don't think we have a clear cut and this this because even let's say we played one on one. Yes. MJ's highlight of both of their games transition, and then MJ's was his back down post game mid post game. But that's a two guards of his era wasn't against small Ford's. So the LeBron six nine to seventy back him down. He has an advantage on that on that part of the game. But if they played each other Pippi will be garden Brun pip pip would have that social out of context. So. But one on one we know you gotta go to golf tournaments. I'm not come on, bro. I'm I grew up. I grew up a fan of Michael, Jordan. I am let respectful LeBron's James right now. Brian is bigger and bigger because Brian is bigger he wins. He's bigger faster stronger. Going get all the rebounds play bully ball them. Any shoots better lowered. And bully ball more. About what are you one? Guy handles are clearly better than the other guys as true hula. Bras, been I Mike wasn't Mike. I appreciate it. Handle Mike was got to the point got to got his book. Is he wasn't out this show bone with? I'm going to step in with the handle is far better than LeBron's Michael's? His first step Michael's going to get to the whole nine. I can meet you places that. I've never saw anybody deal with Mike at the rim. So why am I supposed to believe that the Broncos that dinosaur didn't play in? Lebron is when we say about Cam Newton dinosaur. They don't make them anymore. They made the broad. They say they made another Michael Jordan. No. But you know, what they made another Michael pairs of standing in line in terms of talent they made more than Michael, Jordan. Let's just be real have signal to sixty that can run as quickly as somebody who's playing to one or two came on his fast. Michael Jordan every position on the court. Mike was in a league wasn't considered one of the fastest this first step in basketball. Absolutely, correct. And that's what six nine guy can meet him at the rim differently than a A six. six. Toko cut him off with angles and beat them. When leverage it's going to be insane. It wouldn't even be close in terms of that in of stopping one on one bully ball. Look, I can't play basketball. But trust me this conversation. Back down, get rebounds. And pseudo view all my childhood says says, no. But now, I'm looking at the body types in structures would beat Michael too far. Lavar ball would be my. Right now, you see the fingers on joy glad Craig for the fingers. It's a new day like VIN rains in this. Michael happy to I thought Mike was really challenge. I really thought it was coming grateful. Welcome back with lock Walli favorite segment of the show anti-social. Yeah. I Don L Smith our social media here launch central what the big victory over last..

"Stuff like you can choose frequently used emojis from it when you're typing or it does the like what is it the i touch or whenever with your fingerprint but i guess what i really be debating between is not actually the mac book in the macbook pro but between the macbook pro and macbook air so if i'm debating between the mac book and the naquib pro obviously gonna go mac book pro because it's the same price and it's faster but the mac book airs like five hundred dollars less or more i think it's actually six hundred dollars less but is it significantly slower like using it as a travel computer but i will use it for like i'm going to record podcast episodes in it and occasionally i'm going to open photoshop i would like to run light room on it when i run light room on my laptop on my laptop with smart previews so actually remarkably quick it's perfectly fine what i would just suggest as getting the most ramble silken you can or getting the faster processor so by the time you beef up your medicare in might be similar to a mac book pro you would buy you know what i mean price wise and they're and they're they're all like ssd harddrive salary for the most part yeah i think i think the michalak pros will be in the mac books are the michael pairs have always been i think it's really difficult to get my computer without an ssd drive.
