"Race. The only thing that's unacceptable is that he changes. And what I mean by that is he changes from the work he puts in and how he fights for what he needs and, you know, but they respect peace on the racetrack. That's a driver to drive a deal. That's not a, that's not a something that an owner needs to come down and say this or that. The drivers police themselves and you're showing the three wide coming off a term for what he was in the middle of four wide, three laps, you know, two restarts before that. And if someone made a mistake there, then we'd be talking about him. So, you know, I don't expect him to dilute his aggression. I expect him to work to an agreement with the drivers on how he wants to race and be raised. And then live with that. So he got, he's been moved. He's unfortunately been in a situation where he's moved other people and so I don't know that we're not necessarily going to police it as much as we just said, listen, we love him. We love his aggressions with love what he's doing. You and the drivers and he did it. He spent a lot of time with Denny, so a lot of time with Chase. And Michael McDowell, all the people that after St. Louis said that he felt he needed to have some conversations with, and he did. And I think it ultimately ended up in a really good spot with him and the other drivers. We obviously go back a long way, buddy. I've got a quick question, then I'll get to my real question, but so you said you had a handshake deal now that he's got to win or you're going to be okay with that other zero that they add whenever they come back with the written entrepreneur. When here's things he doesn't like, he always says, miso speaking, and so if he throws that zero at me, we'll say the same thing to him. What do I speak to narrow? Back a long way. You started, you've seen this sport from a lot of different sides. More than a lot of other people, not necessarily from the competition side, but you were with RJ Reynolds through their best times of the sport, everything that you did there, then you went to DEI. So so much going on there. Now that you're in this part of the sport. How's that helped you in developing and helped to develop track house into what we all see now? I think the highest compliment I've ever been paid in my 56 years is from Justin marks. What he told me is that I think I have the best version of you..

Daniel Suárez grabs historic NASCAR Cup Series win at Sonoma

"Daniel Suarez said last week that his luck has been so bad lately that he didn't think anyone would pick him to win but everything changed on Sunday at Sonoma raceway as he became the first Mexican born driver to get a win in the NASCAR Cup Series Which is a special day I have always seen California's as my second home and to be able to get the first victory here is quite special It was a statement victory for Suarez and his trackhouse racing team owned by Justin marks and the rapper Pitbull as he led 47 of the 110 lap race He did it by holding off Chris busher and road course expert Michael McDowell who finished second and third respectively Jerry Jordan Sonoma California

"An 8 this week. And what is it about? What is it about chase for you that if you were a team owner? Why is it that you would want someone that drives like chase to be your driver? Hey guys, it's old school racing demeanor that his father Bill Elliott, you know, showed him growing up, you know, the low passes or going up high for the past is even going from the rear to the front. Passing cars really good. And without any problems or caution. But there have been problems with the tires of this car that I'm concerned about. Fair enough. All right, so that sounds like a real team owner right there. We went from a pivot, Shelby well done from this is my driver, but I'm also concerned about these tires, but Shelby, we appreciate you calling in weighing in. I mean, chase would be a great one, right? I mean, if you're looking for personalities, he's got the fight, but he also has that knowledge of, you know, I can't lose this now because I'm mad. I got to find that level, shake it off. We saw at the robo, I was one of the best ones. Yeah, yeah. Gather it back up. Let's remember while we're here. Hey, speaking of that, when we come back, we've got another driver joining us. Michael McDowell joins us here on motormouth right after this. Stay with us. Michael McDowell assumes the race lead. This is only the second race he has let this season. Come on the 37 year old driver from Glendale Arizona, Michael McDowell. He took over the lead by not pity. He's held the lead by being a back race car. He's been banned all season long. He's at 5 top ten finishes this year. And that's tied for the most he's ever had in his NASCAR Cup Series career. So race after race, Michael McDowell and that front row motor sports team have been fast. And we welcome now the driver of that number 34 of Michael McDowell, Michael, thanks for joining us, buddy. Man, what a great run through all this past weekend in St. Louis, leading the same number of laps, I believe, is your car number 34. Man, tell us about the weekend for you. How good did it feel to be up front to leave those laps? Yeah, it was a lot of fun. Friday afternoon, we were all scratching our heads because we didn't feel like we were very good in practice. I think we were around 30th, but Blake Harris and all the boys, you know, with that 50 minute practice, we were able to change some things overnight and get ready for Saturday. And qualified well, ran really well in the race and then just working the strategy. We took two tires and then we were able to stay out that following caution and get the lead and yeah, it's definitely fun racing my buddy Eric there and for me it was 34 qualifying laps. I was giving it everything I had and make sure I wasn't going to give up that lead, you know? And I was trying to win that stage, but unfortunately caution came out there with about ten to go and strategy wise it wasn't the best to stay out of put us too far back. So we had to pit there and give up the lead, but it was fun while it lasted, you know, we've been doing really well here lately. We've had some fast race cars. We're making big gains. And so there's a lot to look forward to for us. And not the finished we'd hope for, but we definitely have had a lot of speed and been clicking them off here of late. So hopefully we can keep that rolling. Yeah, even though gateway wasn't the finish you wanted Michael. Like you said, led 34 laps and prior to that four top tens in the past 5 races. I know it's your first year with crew chief Blake Harris. Do you feel like maybe the team has turned a corner here in the last 6 weeks or so? I do. You know, I think that we have great people at front row. And with this next gen car, I feel like it's brought us a little bit closer to the top teams. But just like every team in the Cup Series right now, there's a lot to learn with this new car. And so we are just now sort of getting on our feet and figuring out exactly what we need weekend, week out. The short tracks have been sort of our weak spot. So we tried something different this weekend and felt like we made good gains. And hopefully that will apply for the rest of the races that we have coming up, the short tracks in particular. So mile and a half program has been really good, you know, Charlotte was strong, Texas was strong, Candace was strong. So we just keep plugging away at it and we'll see what happens. You know, we're getting closer and closer to that shiny end of the grid where you need to be to put yourself in position to win. And that's really what the focus is. You know, we got a few more weeks here to try to get in these playoffs. And so we've got to make them count. So Michael, that's where I was going with my question was with the success that you've been having and looks like it keeps getting better. You have to be pretty excited with the road courses coming. You've got Daytona at the end before the playoff start as an opportunity and obviously it's a Daytona 500 champion. You know how to get it done there. You have to be pretty excited about the prospects that you can make your way into the playoffs with a win. Yeah, definitely. I feel like these next three or four weeks are going to be really important for us. You know, Sonoma is a great opportunity to put ourselves in position.

"Talked about short tracks being an equalizer with the old cars. So why wouldn't it be a more of an equalizer with this car? So we've got teams. We listen, we saw the 51 car who drives a 51 problem blank all of a sudden. Cody where? Cody where? I thought he was going to transfer to the big show. And how did the coliseum? That's how well he run on a short track out there. So think back to that race, think out what we've seen so far. And then try to extrapolate that out. There is no telling what we'll see here. There's no way to say that it wouldn't shock me if Tyler Reddick wins. It wouldn't shock me if Denny Hamlin leaves every life. I really don't know. And I think that's what's so fascinating. Yeah. The one interesting thing to me, we've talked about aggressiveness, Michael McDowell mentioned how rough you can be with the car to call out our buddy Calvin fish, is that open up the door for more RG bargy, where you move some out of the way, and you don't worry about your car. So richman might be the slickest place known to man and it doesn't look that way. You could spend the tires all going to start finish line. So it's going to be interesting to see, have we crossed the track that is finicky enough that aggression is still going to matter. Yeah. Because a lot of the tracks you can attack attack attack. Richman's never struck me as an attack racetrack. No. And listen, the one thing that I will say about this car in Richmond is the brakes. I mean, you're going to be able to barrel off into three. You know what I mean? And get there, get it low down and get it turned. But to Steve's point, I don't care if I get to the middle. How am I going to get to the start finish line down there? Because I'm on ice that part. Don't sleep on pit road. I've heard from a lot of drivers. These cars are harder to get in and out of their pit box. No way. We've been to a lot of big roads. And that could be a great wheels coming off. The pit crews are going to be challenged. Like, just everything gets tougher to your track. So don't sleep on pit road. It was tougher before the old car. That was a tough pit road. And also Richmond, not on the playoffs for the first time in a long time. So I wonder how much emphasis really they're kind of putting on this race. And we've had caution filled races. Richmond has been known to run green. Does that mean that changes? Does it turn into a caution filled rap? And there's a lot of unknowns. I'm going to go to the action track. I'm trying to check it out in person. Once you get up there and help out a certain Xfinity series team on Saturday. I'm just here. Right down the price. To break it all down. For a short track of the season, can't wait for Richmond this weekend. See you guys Monday..

"Haas racing. Truex and bush were strong at Las Vegas, but the Gibbs teammates noticeably have been average in pace. The phrase changing of the guard is used often. But a changing of the car is what's driving it in the NASCAR Cup Series. With next gen, the pressure is on the old prose, who must prove they can adapt and stay fast enough to stave off. Father time. Really good stuff by Nate Ryan and our feature producer Joel mayak. And so Steve, I'll start with you terrific point by innate is this father time catching up with the older guys or is this the new car changing the game? Yes. When Kevin Harvick won nearly double digit races a few years back. It was two years ago. If I were to say hey, he's not going to win a race for the next 40 races. Everybody here would have laughed and took the bat and then I looked like a genius. The point is, and Brad knows as a professional athlete. Now, I think it's easier in basketball football baseball because it's physically measured. Hey, you're not as fast. You don't jump as high. You're shooting percentages gone down. Or if you're a football player, you don't run the 40th saying. What's most difficult about a race car driver is because politely, I don't think we know why they're good, so therefore we don't know why they lose it. Right. When I talk to Kyle Larson, I say Kyle, how do you do this? How do you do this? He politely said, I just go down in the corner and the car tells me what to die. There isn't this secret sauce. Some are better than others. So I think that makes it very difficult to know what's going away. What I think we have seen consistently is it does go away, that you aren't the same race car driver forever. It does. Whether that's reaction, whether that I don't think is bravery. I hear these stories. All they have. No, I don't buy any of that. These guys strap in the car to win every race. I think it's something why am I not a race car driver? Brad, 'cause I can't tell my hands and feet to do it. I've watched race cars in my home life. And every corner I miss, I think to myself, that's awful. So back to your original question, I believe that the new car is taking a different skill set. It's still driving. But why do open wheel guys struggle to come over other than perhaps Tony Stewart? Why do other people struggle to adapt to a NASCAR standard cup car from years past? There was something magic about that. Well, there's something magic about this new car. And I don't know what the new skill set is. But it seems to be currently that the young guys have adapted quicker. I don't believe it's going to stay like that forever. Equipment and adapting they'll get there. You can probably answer this better than the three of us. Have you ever seen a time like this in the sport? Are you seeing many different cars coming? Do you remember a time like this in the sport? Well, yes and no. Yes and no. And I'm going to go way back in time. I'm going to go way back in time to Richard Petty and David Pearson and kill yarbrough. And the allicin, and these guys drove until they're late 40s, early 50s. And my theory has always been almost exactly what Steve says. I think it's like and for Brad or you play Goff. It's a touch. It's a feel. When you're on the green and you're putting it's a feel. You know when that putter in your hands. When you let that ball release from your fingertips, it's that feel. I think these drivers are looking for a feel as the car evolved for Richard Petty from a 74 charger to an 86 Pontiac with a front steer compared to rear steer and leaf springs compared to torsion bars. They lost their feel. Bobby Allison lost his field, not that he wasn't a great race car driver in the very end. He just couldn't get the feel of what that car was given. It wasn't given him what he wanted. And I think as you get to that age, you can't teach an old dog new tricks. I don't care. And they know the feel they're looking for and this car doesn't give them that feel. So that's my opinion. It's crazy to say, but the same thing that made these guys great. Perhaps it's the same thing holding them back on their training. Exactly. It can literally be the same thing. I saw it with Jeff Gordon tires. When Goodyear brought, I know I'm not talking radio to buy if I'm talking the same radial tire, but a different concept. And you went from driving off the right front to driving off the right rear. We instantly struggled. I instantly couldn't give Jeff he was still a great race car driver. I couldn't give him what he needed, because the fact is when you give that when Denny Hamlin gets what he wants? Yes. Or Kyle Busch gets what he wants or caught lots of finds out later once, no offense to Ricky Stenhouse and no offense to those guys and no offense to Reddick and no offense to Chastain, but their resume proves to me unless someone can tell me otherwise I still believe Kyle Busch is going to find it at some point and what he does look out. So Brad boil it down to brass tacks for me, give me a name. Who are you worried about just 6 races into the season? You know, I'm worried about Kevin Harvick. You know, I've always been a Kevin Harvick fan and I'm just surprised that he's not.

"You on the Josh wise program? What you got going on? I told you, I don't want them young whippersnappers taking my job. I've stepped up my game and all areas, you know, it's just like anything. You just constantly pushing yourself and evolving and every year it's a little bit different on what you have to work on and what you need to concentrate when you need to focus on and with this new car. I think that it's definitely more physically demanding because you can drive it so hard. And with so many row courses and short tracks and things like that and this car is a little bit warm as well. You got to make sure that you're getting every area that you can and not leaving anything on the table. Good stuff, Michael. Always fun hanging out with you, bud. Congratulations on career start number 400 this weekend. Enjoy it at Richmond, okay? All right, thank you guys. Appreciate you having me on. All right, always fun. Hanging out with Michael going down. I thought it was a great point there, Steve. I mean, this new car, you can physically drive it harder. It is hotter, so his trimming down a little bit probably well timed. Yeah, I mean, forever, we used to talk about the transition from open wheels drivers to stock car drivers and it was always about the cars big. It kind of lumbers around. It's very overpowered under tired. And this kind of shifts the stock car closer to those other forms of racing. We're not there yet, but the tire's wider, it's bigger, the car itself, I think, has more grip with independent rear suspension. I think they can do a better job of hooking it up to the asphalt. The brakes allow them to drive it in. So everyone I've talked to said it is way more physical, which I think is going to be fascinating because when he talks warm, we haven't really had more. I was gonna say, like, we're gonna get the dirt race at Bristol. I can't wait till the Bristol night race. Yeah. Or that midsummer rate, like gateway, don't sleep on gateway. It can be trust me. Hot. In the summer, you know, right? So the question, that's what I want to see. I want to see you as we get in. We've also heard about cars overheating, not just drivers. I want to see all the other challenges of this car. I think they only get more concerning as we get into the hot summer months. It's going to be fun to watch. You hear in that same feedback that it's getting well, warm inside. But you know what I have heard and he talked about how hard they are to drive. But how aggressive you can be. I've heard almost every driver say that this car rewards aggression. It rewards you the harder you drive it, the more aggressive you are. And if we look at the guys like Tyler Reddick, like chase Ross Chastain, the guys that have been running are aggressive race car drivers. They are aggressive race car drivers. Austin cindric, these guys are aggressive guys. So you ask him about getting in shape and doing all this, you know, you got to jump, you got to take the bit by put the bit in your mouth and run with it. It's going to be interesting. Martinsville. Martinsville is going to be a place where aggression shows up. It shows up every week. And find out how to go over that one. That aggressive line is real. We have seen more cars wrecked this year just by loss of control. And then we've seen in the last ten or 15 years in my opinion. Great point. We've always had me hit you. You spin out. But we've had great race car drivers. Spend out on their own. I'm good with that. Like this sport should be about, you know, who has the best car and who has the most ability to get that card to finish. And I think it's being put on display. Coming up next, the big guy, Brad, Dougherty will join us, you know, the final four coming up this weekend too. I think he's pulling for the heels and he's also gonna pull for his driver Ricky Stenhouse junior this weekend at Richmond. Brad already coming up next here on motor mouse. Now Chastain right on the back bumper of AJ alman digger. Alex Bowman stays way outside of the two. Alba digger gets into Alex Bowman. Ross Chastain back out to the front from the final corner of the final time. He's got the lead coming out of turn 20. Now he's flat on the gas. Ross Chastain is going to get his first NASCAR Cup Series win. His 121st start. Yes. Oh yeah. Oh my God. We did it. These guys all wanted it. There's always contact the end of these races. I honestly, today is just not that much different than what we see a lot of times on green white checkers and these are these racetracks. I didn't draw it up that way in my head, but yeah. I did what I did. I stand by it. I take that white flag and it's like, who wants it the most? Who wants it the most? No, the money's on the line and the playoff spots on the table. You didn't have to deal with it. It is worth it for the playoff spot Justin marks there and Ross Chastain as well after the race on Sunday. I think our next guest will agree, Brad Doherty and owner in the Cup Series. He joins us here on motor mouse, our very own Brad daugherty. So Brad, if Stenhouse is.

"And how competitive they've been. And really top finish last year, much like that, you know, running in the top 5 challenging for wins. So it's not a big shock. I mean, Zayn obviously has a lot of success coming here. But yeah, it's been fun for the whole program and no bob, Jenkins, our owners have been enjoying it. It's always nice when we got vehicles going to victory lane. It's definitely keeping me on my toes. I got all these young guys coming here to take my job. So not that I would be upset racing that truck, but I don't want to get demoted just quite yet. So I'm going to need, I'm going to need to step up my game here soon to make sure that I don't lose my job here. Just tell Bobby, you want a couple of x-rays in the truck. I mean, nothing wrong with that, right? Hey, big weekend for you this weekend. Career start number 400. Is it hard to believe year in year 15 of your Cup Series career? Yeah, it's super hard to believe. I mean, I hadn't thought about it until it came up this week and people started asking me about it. And it's awesome. I mean, to be in this sport that I love for this long and to be making my 400 cup start is really neat. But I really feel like I'm just getting started. And I think part of that is those first 5 or 6 years, I was just grinding it out, starting parking, not running the full races, kind of bouncing from team to team. And so, you know, the last 5 or 6 years running full time and building that momentum and confidence and starting to stream together good finishes and build this program. I feel like I'm really fresh, you know? I feel like this is a great opportunity and I'm definitely thankful for the 400 starts, but I'm looking forward to the next 400. When you look good these days, are you trimming down on you on the Josh wise program? What you got going on? I told you, I don't want them young whippersnappers taking my job. I've stepped up my.

"Our execution went getting the race and were able to make good changes. And so I'm not really sure how it stacks up. You know, you look at AJ, he's fast no matter what he does, and he seemed to be fast in both of them. You look at some of the other guys like chase and Larson and maybe a few others that have been dominant lately weren't quite as dominant. So I think it does level the playing field a bit. But you know, there's still a lot to learn over the next few weeks, few months. We're just developing at a fast rate with this car. Listen, you talk about this car. You talk about this year. You guys have run good. We talk about track house. We talk about petty GMS. We talk about JTG. So many teams that were maybe 15th to 20th that if they finished 12 to 13th, it was a great day. They're running in the top 5. They found speed. They're running in the top ten. They are contented. You say, I'm sure we'll have a chance at some point in time. As we've run this car at Daytona, as we've run it at the stadium in LA as we've run it at coda. Where does this car seem to match up what style racetrack so far, would you say yes, this car was built for this type of racing? It's a great question. I think before the season started, we were all saying short tracks and road courses. But this car has been awesome on the mile and a half and the big track two mile at California. The biggest difference this year between the next gen car in last year is just the dirty air. You're able to run so much closer to cars. And you're also able to run side by side without somebody sucking your round or really putting me in a bad spot. So you can be really aggressive with this car. And you can stay tucked up tight. And that makes the racing really good. I'm looking forward to Richmond. I think Richmond's kind of the first real short track for us, you know, the call scene was different. Phoenix is so fast. And so big, it's not exactly a short track. So this will be a big weekend to see how these cars race. But yeah, I think the racing this year has been phenomenal. And I think that the car itself really has impressed me with just how good it is in traffic because, you know, I think that that was a big concern in the off season with the testing that Charlotte, we were all worried about how it was going to be in traffic and it turned out to be really good. Michael, we got a couple of folks on the phone who want to chat with you. We'll start with NASCAR. You're on with Michael McDowell, NASCAR, what's going on? Hey, no, thanks for taking the time, Michael. One thing I'm curious about this new cars. You guys now have the racket opinion steering steering column. So I was wanting to know what's the difference with that and what was in the old car and is that something that you guys could have had in the old car? Yeah, that's a great question. I think that it would have taken a lot of redesign to put it in the old car, not impossible though. I mean, we were designing parts of pieces and front clips. And all that stuff every week. So I'm sure we could have done it. But the biggest difference with the rack and pinion steering is just how fast it is. It's very sensitive to input, not a lot of slop, not a lot of play in the wheel. So when you turn it, it goes for sure. And you know, that's some of those things that we're talking about, like figuring it out. I think that, you know, without doing that, Charlotte wrote course test for us. We missed it on the valve and then the speed of what we needed there. And just things like that. So I think once we work through a few of the, you know, just the driver comfort and some of the bugs. It's going to be really good. So I thought the response and feedback has been good. The steering is a little bit different as far as your inputs go. And so it took, it takes a little bit for muscle memory to kick in and kind of learn something new, but so far it's been really good. Marvin has called into chat with you, Michael, as well. Marvin, you're on with Michael McDowell. Go ahead. How you doing, Michael? I'm doing great. How are you? I'm doing pretty good, man. Great, one, yes, last week at coda. So thank you. Mike, we're not a problem. Tonight, we're heading into three of my favorite short tracks, Richmond, Bristol, and of course the paper clip of martinville. What track are you looking forward to the most in those three races? Martinsville, for sure. You know, Martinsville, to me, is a lot like a row course. You break as hard as you can. The modulating the break into the corner, you have to put the power down well. And so I feel like this is a great opportunity for us. We've been putting together some solid races at Martinsville the last couple of years, but that doesn't necessarily apply for this year, but I feel like the coliseum, our car was good. So Martinsville is going to be a cool opportunity with these cars. You're going to be able to beat bang, you know, drive the snot out of it into the brake zones. And these brakes are big enough that it's going to take it. And so it's going to be a pretty intense race, I feel like hey, I want to ask you about front row as a whole right now on you're obviously on the cup side, but over on the truck side Zayn smith's winning everything and he's won two races already this season. So does that kind of elevate the entire shop when somebody is winning races like that? Yeah, it's been awesome. I mean, it's a lot of fun any time you can get to victory lane and that truck program is it was solid last year. I think it was growing and Todd did a great job and I think just season two with it is just, you know, we've seen just how fast and how competitive they've been. And really top finish last year, much like that, you know, running in the top 5 challenging for wins. So it's not a big shock. I mean, Zayn obviously.

"Do you have one who Brad's pulling for Saturday night in the final four? I'm curious tar hills. He's going to pull for them. And then we tease it on social media will play a little game called who you worried about this year. So far, just 6 races in. So KP, we talked about it on the Monday show, didn't get your thoughts and get your thoughts deep. So I want to hear your thoughts on the code a race and the way Ross Chastain won the race. Oh, I didn't see anything wrong with the way he wanted to race. Sorry. It's fine. Unless you know I've got opinions on everything. But AJ moved him. He moved AJ. You know, he just jacked AJ up getting in the corner. We see it at Martinsville. We see it at Bristol. You see at a million places. So I really don't have. And I thought AJ did a phenomenal job post race the way he explained it. I mean, that was a great interview. Young drivers should take what AJ said and just look at that and say, okay, that's how you handle it. When you're disappointed when you're crushed, but this is what happens. But I thought the car, the racetrack was the star, because we didn't have weather. But the car, that's what this car is designed for. That was, I thought, the bump in the toughness of the car. I thought it was a good day. Good day. Well, I think Ross Chastain put nickels in the piggy bank every week this year to be allowed to make that move at codon. You know, I think if this is the first time he shows up up front and he shoves a guy out of the way, it could be a little distasteful from the fans point of view because you're like, hey, you know, but he's been upfront consistently. He had a great race here. You bring up a great point that almond anger definitely made contact with him to get by. I am not going to judge what's too much contacts. What is it? I let the drivers decide that. And I think Ross did a nice job of controlling his aggression over the last really 18 months. There's been opportunity for him to be the aggressor he's chosen not to. He's kind of got rid of some of that reputation that might have followed him earlier in his career. And for all of those reasons. And for all the good interviews and for all the good decisions, it allows me to sit here with a smile on my face. And he's the first time winner. And the fans should applaud the fact that it means that much to a driver. Now, I don't want to see this at the end of every road course race. I don't want to pass in getting turned into shoving a guy off. But to your point, it was heart racing. AJ made contact. Listen, Ross was defending when AJ pushed him out of the way, and AJ was defending when Ross pushed him out. It's not like either of them got pushed out of the appropriate racing line. No. I had no problem with the blocking or the aggression. Yeah. So this is what I am going to say. If that is, and that one car, if that's Dale Earnhardt senior, or if that's chase Elliott, or somebody like, we're not even having this conversation. Because the fans love it. They think that's the way it should be. You should run. And I think a lot of times from a fan's perspective, it depends on who's in that car on which way they swing. Real quick, before we get to Michael McDowell, I just want to ask you guys, when was the last time we've seen a team jump onto the scene like this with track house racing just to give them a little credit here? You know, I have to go back and, you know, I can't think of one off the top of my head. I think Justin marks, first of all, I think it's unfair to call it a new team. She purchased a current team, put it on her new ownership. Yeah. Now, Justin has done a nice job of taking what he bought from Chip Ganassi and I don't want to use the word brand because it's more of a culture change. He created a culture of success, a culture of the emblem like track house, that logo. Nobody even knew what it would be. Now you see it everywhere. He's doing a very nice job. He's great for the sport. He's went to sport needs a young energetic odor. But it's been a while since a new team is really just cannonball in with this much. I guess maybe when DEI was created, you know, they found something to win in year two. But I do say and I agree. He approached it. Everybody was swimming this way and Justin said, we're going to go this way. And they came at a different angle. They embedded themselves in RCR. It wasn't an alliance. They embedded themselves at RCR. So that was their first big move. The second big step was the Ganassi acquisition. So they've made two huge moves in the last two years that have put them in this position. And they're contending every week and now winning races, so it's crazy to see what they're doing here in year two. A young man who was up front in the top ten on that final restart Michael McDowell wound up finishing 13th. We'll bring him in now here on NASCAR America motor mount. So how will those final few restarts Michael from your seat that look pretty crazy on TV? They were definitely wild. You know about three or four restarts from the last I was having a lot of fun making big moves and getting into the top ten. But the last two did not go my way ended up losing a couple spots there, but the four, 5, 6 wide that you see there at Kota getting into turn one and turn two. It's pretty wild. But I agree with what you guys are saying, man, the new car is just awesome. I mean, you can beat bang. I mean, there was times that I hit cars hard enough that I was like for sure I'm gonna have a tire rub or something broke and you just keep digging. So it was a lot of fun at coda. You know, it was our first road course this year. Got a few more coming this season. So, you know, not what we had for expectations. You know, we go to those races, hoping that we can win. We kind of missed it. This weekend, but at least we got one under our belt here to kind of figure out what we need to go to the next one. So the new car really brings me to my question last week. We kind of guessed a little bit of, is this good or bad for a road course ringer? So when I look at you, your skill sets, you always seem to be above the average when it comes to road courses. So sequential gearbox, bigger brakes than it hurt your advantage,.

"Here. That's what it's all about. And like Michael McDowell, Eric Almirola racked up a victory this season. It came at New Hampshire, motor speedway with his back against the wall. Unlike McDowell, he did not have a very favorable season, although the stat line looks close to the same at the end. Things were looking so hot there for Eric alarm, but he pulled it off. Kick off the season with a win in the duels going into the Daytona 500 and just felt like going into the Daytona 500 that I had all the confidence in the world that we were going to be a contender weekend and week out. And it all started at the Daytona 500. I feel like with getting wrecked out, whatever it was, 15 laps into the race. That was the beginning of just long stretch of disappointments. Just not measuring up to what our expectations were. And then in the summertime, we got back on track with how we typically run. We went to Nashville and qualified on the poll and ran in the top 5 all day. Followed that up a couple weeks later going to loudon and winning. And Eric omero wants to become a new superhero. Captain consistent. I feel like I've prided myself over the years of being consistent. Maybe not always have the best results that I always wanted. I feel like I've given some races away that I should have won in years past. But the one thing I feel very good about is the fact that I consistently ran where I felt like we were capable of if we had top ten cars we ran top ten a lot. And this year we were not consistent. We were good. We were bad. We were mediocre, and then we would be bad for a couple of weeks. It would be good again. So yeah, the highlights are high. Went into winning in the open to get into the all star race when in the dual winning at loudon. Those were all great moments, but overall as a whole, I just feel like we just lacked a lot of consistency. So you see, huh? Yeah, there you go. It's got the cape and everything. It's been a CC. My kid loves putting on the closed captions on TV to your kids do that. No, they have not discovered that, thank you. They don't want to read. He's always daddy put the CC on. And then he reads.

"Fingertips with the pr and mobile app available on apple app store and google play. Find more information at go. P. r. n. dot com. Believe it or not. it's been thirty six races. Since kevin harvick has gone to a cup series victory lane. It was one of the reasons. He was boiling mad after coming so close to winning at bristol and kyle busch understands how irritating that can be last year. We really weren't that good. That great didn't really win a whole lot which we've only won twice this year. We've been more competitive at least arctic. Looks just like we did last year. You know. I mean just can't seem to find anything that works and so i know exactly the frustrations that they're going through and so i don't think they felt bad for me so i probably don't feel bad for them. With the playoff point standings resetting for when round two gets underway. This weekend in las vegas harvick is ranked last among the twelve drivers remaining in the championship. Chase now using nascar's metric qualifying. Harvick will start thirty and sunday. South point four hundred on the poll. Kyle larson with martin. True junior second on the grid. As the biggest surprise to make the playoff many people expected michael mcdowell to get knocked out in round one and he did but according to him he still has plenty to race for. We still wanna finish strong. We wanna beat cars that we can be there in the points and finish out the season like we'd hoped to it's disappointing. I mean super frustrating. And we still have a lot of opportunities to get it right. And you can count william byron in favor of running the clash in the la coliseum. I think it's great opportunity to have a good fan base in good energy around the first race of the season. Thankful that i'm in the clash and would be awesome to win in that environment would be really cool. Hi this is doug rice. When the pr in crew visits las vegas we stay at the south point. "The two off weeks but leading into that. We were pretty strong so last year. We were pretty awful summer and then we got to the playoffs. And we're really on it all playoff run long so i don't really think you know. Momentum matters or flipping a switch like nothing like that you just gotta go your job and execute and we're not gonna do anything different I think we're in a great spot and we're gonna have great race cars. Just gotta go execute. Boma was doing right. there is convincing himself. The last few weeks don't matter that's what that was and when you know drivers of talking to you as much as they are to the media but the brushes all now i mean it starts. You've done a great job. Guide yourself into playoff done what you needed a done. Do kurt busch called it. He said hey this first round this is it. We're gonna make up our points right here. This is the best tracks fine but to me. it's interesting how all of them are approaching it. Some of them are one day at a time. Some of them look at each stage each group internet time but as you know it all starts it all starts on sunday and then there's really intense we've seen drivers come out when the jury of the playoffs is still not a champion. So there's no guaranteed success just because you had success early but what you can do is you can. Just take the pressure off. You win at darlington. You're moving on to the next round your equipment. Your approach your time your effort. Listen we all wanna make it sound like all these teams have so much money and so much time that they're out there just roasted s'mores by the campfire at lunch with nothing else to do. These teams are completely tap out. Joe gibbs racing has every car in the playoffs heggie. Motorsports has every car in the playoffs. Team penske every car in the playoffs. Those reorganizations brad make up the top ten so they have to give equal opportunity across their drivers your team or you know one drivers in your ear the other drivers in your you have to give them all the same thing which means that you have to take advantage of. Any of those guys can win. That's one car. They don't have to worry about for two weeks. Yeah yeah you're right in those three organizations. I think are champions. Gonna come out of one of those three organizations in these top two in cars. And if you think about it. It's not flip. Switch time you have to look back over the last several weeks and look for consistency and performance in who's been able to build a little bit each week and get a little bit better or at least be consistent and you look throughout the lineup. Obviously ron ladies jump. Larson's did their cow bushes in our tastes alias in there then he's been pretty consistent. I've seen a lot of joy llegado so those are the type of team. Those are the guys i'm looking at. I think we'll advance through. Get through that joyce in the second round is a little little iffy but i think those are the guys that are going to be peaking by the time we turn to go the last championship. So i'm looking back over the last few weeks. Not just looking for guys talking about flipping the switch we darla the next week i want. Somebody already flipped the switch. Been working on. These safe is so back to the calls. You'll quick brooklyn you with us. Yeah i'm here doing or great good all right well Obviously to anybody who's watching the may the plane. So i don't know if the question before around sixteen was talker but in silly season and in the regular season out of those which do you think what do you think was the biggest surprise so far this season. That's tough one thick. The spy biggest shock of the two names that are winless that want somebody last year. I'm still shocked. Probably the thing of the top of my list is denny. Hamlin and kevin harvick being winless at this point. I know that sounds crazy. I put that. Above michael mcdowell mcdowell win and race before. I had those two not winning a race. I mean maybe a road course or a speedway. That's the shock from those teams brad. Huge i think for me and nothing gets the team but that the ten car winning it loud. I didn't see that coming you know. They're they all struggled over at stewart haas all season. Long no matter where we've been. And i did not see that coming. So that was a shocker. Shocker to me. So michael mcdowell's pretty big And kevin thing is massive but this was this one caught me off nordisk. I don't think we've seen it yet. I think i think the play offs are gonna be crazy. I think there's so much intensity. We have already talked about this first round the playoffs when i look at it to your point earlier when i look at the leaderboard clearly kyle. Larson is the favorite. Kevin harvick was the favourite last year. Did make it athena's the chance to win a championship. I it wouldn't surprise me any one of these names that they'll make it the phoenix or even in the last round. So i i think the biggest the biggest surprise you had to come. Hey steve on saturday. We did some really cool daytona. We had a group that followed ricky statehouse junior. The entire day in really spent a ton of time. Ricky kind of getting behind the scenes. What is a race car driver. Do a wins the all motormouth that you're going to see that that feature it's going to be really cool. Yeah i'm excited. I know ricky. I think he's a great person super. Prepare car driver brad. He's your man. You tell us where we're going to see drives for you. What do you expect to see out of your drager. I'll tell you what snowsuit yugoslav me hold. That big trophy darlington this weekend. Baby forty seven. Watch their board. You're going to be talking about my race team with.

Claim that checkered flag, not a lot of great people around me. Keep me pushing and we had a great offseason to prepare. My Rudy's come in and done a phenomenal job, and he knows how to how to push the right buttons with me and you know, I know exactly what he means when he says that, so I just had to go to work, and luckily we had enough car there. At the end behind Byron and Reddick were Martin Truex Jr. Kyle Larson and Kevin Harvick completed the top five. "Okay. So let's move on to the road course at daytona. We have to go very far. We're still at the Daytona race track. They're just moving some combs and stuff around so let's see who we got for good picks for for the weekend. Now i'm looking back at the I'm i'm not even looking at the rolex twenty four the races or anything. I'm looking at last year's race at this track as well as the clash this year. All the guys. That ran the clash. This year are fresh and Again last year we had a race here so we have a little bit of data to fall back on now so now you would think i would pick the nine cars first guy but i'm not. He's my second guy we're gonna go with the seventy eight cars. My first pick. He had awesome. Run in the clash. He kept coming from the back to the front. He did finish their place here last year. And you got a couple of bonus points in the second segment. I believe it was. I believe he can take that checkered flag on sunday. Okay so now we'll take a look at chase elliott in the nine car. He's got stage points at this track in both stages last year he won this track last year and he's been dominant force on road courses. So you can't pass the nine car chase elliott for the daytona road course and then finally the last guy wanna look at. He won last week. The number thirty four michael mcdowell. The team morale is at all time high. It's his first win and he's not some road course racer. He finished tenth year last year. And using the thirty four car will also help. You spread your allocations. For the rest of the season michael mcdowell. He's on my team. Okay folks well. That's all i got for you this week. I'm hoping this Get you kicked off to a good start.

"Yeah, I mean, You know, The things that stood out to me is one of my face is that You know, not not faith in myself and not faith in in anything but faith in God that you know he's allowed me to be here and that Yeah, just Training. Talking to Michael Medaglia. I mean, my man, I can imagine that That would be a pretty emotional thing. When you consider what you've given up, and then I don't wanna make it worse, But I mean, you've got all these people that supported you and most of all your family. You have four kids. And from the outside. It seems like part of what your career has been about. Correct me. If I'm wrong, it seems like part of what this is about. Is you showing up every single weekend doing the work, leading by example, being a role model for your kids when it comes to working as hard as you possibly can. So what's it mean to have your name on that massive trophy and be able to point to that? As a result of what happens when you have that faith when you have that belief, and you just keep working? Yeah, it's you know, it's awesome. I mean, because I've never lost hope and I never lost. You know faith, and then I was gonna win races. I've always believed that And I tell my kids that too, and you know, my kids have had been around this sport and so you know, they play with the other kids at the racetrack in the other daddies are winning races right, And that's not hard something at all. It's a life example that I give my kids and No, I tell my life's not easy and it's hard and, yeah, I would love to be in a race sailing race car every weekend, but I'm not and they are and they're doing a good job and they're they're they're winning because they worked hard to be there. And so for my kids, you may work hard at it and to see the reward of that. I think that you know, I don't leave an impression in them for a lifetime to. Finally what about the respect and admiration to get from your peers as an example, Joy, Logano said. Quote. I'm really happy for McDowell. If we couldn't win it, I'm really happy to see Macao when this thing and a quote That's really high praise. What's in me to hear that from a fellow driver, and especially a guy like Joey Yeah, it means a lot. I mean, This sport. You know, it's different than stick and ball sports where you know you might play a team once or twice a year and TV. You know each composer once or twice a year, and we go the same. You know, we're in the same circle all the time. And we go. There we go. The race shack. We're all together, You know, Weigh all live in the same area can go to school. Yeah, we are gonna be small bubble on NASCAR and You're competing against the same 40 drivers in the same, you know 15 teams every single weekend. And so there is the true beauty element to our sport. That's probably different than a lot of other sports and And so that you know that have that. You know that have that respect and to have those relationships and It means a lot. I mean, it means a lot to know that You know, kind of why you're there grinding it out. You you feel out of place, you know, in Tonto, you know, to have the respect and you know that you know that people are happy for you and legitimately happy for you. It means a lot. So finally I wonder about this like you're in it for the right reasons, And obviously it's very clear that you have great gratitude. And great humility. And probably you feel like you're the same person that you were prior to this thing going down. But what's it like to now know that you're gonna be forever introduced is a Daytona 500 winner and that that will be with you for the rest of your life, and you will always be introduced like that. He had Hmm. Yeah, it's unthinkable. I mean, I mean for me. You know, it would be on the same trophy have my name around or near Richard Petty and Mario Andretti and Dale and Hearted and Janet Johnson. And, you know, man, they're so many. How many more? Um Yeah, that that's incredible. And you know to all that Daytona. Does the racetrack with history and you know the ceremony in the process and Um, you are legitimately forever etched in the history, um, by just the way that they celebrated, you know, what is your name in the concrete? Um, what it you know, on the The hostage a trophy. You know, there's just so much History around our sporting around Daytona To be a part of that is is very humbling. That's it. That's exactly what that is. That is forever if not longer. He was the driver of the number 34 car for front row Motor sports. Sunday's win again was his first career Cup win the O'Reilly auto parts to 53 at the Daytona Road course Sunday. 3 P.m. Eastern on Fox. Michael McDowell, My guest, Michael. Great to have you on. Congrats on amazing win. Great to have you come on and share your thoughts on and thanks so much for that. Thank you. Michael McDowell Amazing story. Snapped a 357 race streak without a win by winning the Daytona 500. All right, so we're open the rest of the way. And what that means is phone calls Social And a few more my thoughts and takes joined Marquez. You may know that name. He took a big swing now which I respect. He took a big swing. He shot his shot, and it looked like it landed. Until I didn't Lakers. I've got to get this in for sure. In fact, I wanna have that momentarily. The Lakers got an update on Anthony Davis. There were some Shaky moment yesterday. Is there waiting for the results of that? M r I They got him. It would seem like it's good news. You know that whole 2 to 3 weeks thing I'm gonna argue, And I'm no doctor. But I'm gonna argue that that 2 to 3 week thing is not a 2 to 3 weeks thing. Especially as it relates to 80. Because you can't be too careful with a guy like that. And they're gonna be really careful with a guy like that. J. J. What? If you're JJ Watt. And I mentioned this. The two things reportedly that are important to him. And why would they be money and ring? Where you gonna go? Maybe the Pittsburgh because that would afford you the opportunity to win a ring, But the money's not there, there over the cap. All right. What about Green Bay? Green Bay's a no brainer. He's Wisconsin native. He played his college ball at the University of On and we know that he'd be great there. And they need him except there over the cap. About C town. Grounds. Need him. He wants them. They have money, no brainer. JJ. Go to America's team from me to you. You will not regret it. And then we had Johnny in Texas. Remember that phone call last segment? Bad something people want to stare and dock at Johnny, this is bad. Nobody want to stop in staring, Doc Adam. "Elliott on the inside Hurt Bush on the outside. Michael McDowell, Jimmy Johnson. Brad be top five. Nobody steps out of line. They tiptoe through one. Now they make that hard left hand turn to and out into the infield. Here they come catch. Ace Elliot gets a good exit of turn number one. He'll pull away to the lead. Kurt Busch is second still side by side for third and fourth. Michael McDowell, two drivers left. Jimmie Johnson lights up the brakes on entry. He'll run side by side right behind them. Here comes Kyle Busch. He looks to the inside of Johnson's McDowell gets away to position number three meters clear for setting up for five Johnson on the rebound. He'll blast by Kyle Busch and retake the number four position and they're side by side for fifth, Kozlowski will lock up his front brakes coming into five He raised for a moment, we'll the wheel with Kyle Busch. But he'll have to follow. Kyle threw the short shoot headed up for the left hander, which has turned six Chase. Elliott is away with lead by 10 car links over Kurt Busch, but that ongoing battle for that third spot it's very entertaining. Michael Mcdow is the first to climb the banking. And here comes Jimmy Johnson. Strong move to the bottom of the racetrack. We'll make the past. Jimmy Johnson moves up. The third takes that third spot away with ease from Michael Make down off of turn number two McDowell now under fire for the four spot there side by side for that battle, Chase Elliott. Meanwhile, under braking already into the bus stop, he has been able to break away by 15 car legs over.

Noose found in Bubba Wallace's garage stall, NASCAR says

"Now? Mike Greenberg Bristol with you this morning. And as I said right off the top of the show, I would have loved to have started with any of those today, and we certainly will get to the mall, but we begin with an absolutely despicable story coming from the world of NASCAR. In this developing story, a noose was found in bubba Wallace's. Stall at the NASCAR race in Talladega Alabama yesterday less than two weeks after Wallace led efforts to push NASCAR to ban the confederate flag NASCAR announced the news last night well after the race had been postponed due to inclement weather, and said it was launching an immediate investigation here. was there statement late this afternoon? Nascar was made aware that a noose was found in the garage stall of the forty three eighteen. We are angry and outraged, and cannot state strongly enough. How seriously we take this heinous act! We have launched an immediate investigation and we'll do everything we can to identify the persons responsible and eliminate them from the sport. As we have stated unequivocally, there is no place for racism and NASCAR, and this act only strengthens our resolve to make the sport open and welcoming to all while himself tweeted a statement last night, which read in. In part today's despicable act of racism and hatred leaves me incredibly saddened, and serves as a painful reminder of how much further we have to go as a society and how persistent we must be in the fight against racism. As my mother told me today, they are just trying to scare you. This will not break me. I will not give enor- rely back down. I will continue to proudly stand for what I believe. In Allah Marty Smith is covering this for us in the scene in Talladega. He joined us an hour ago. The News in Bubbas garage stall was actually seen by a member of his team. Darrell Bubba never saw it. He never saw it personally and win. That team members saw it. He alerted NASCAR. And Nascar immediately had a meeting of its senior executive staff, and they made the decision that they were going to remove this person from the sport as quickly and rapidly as possible. This was not a situation where a fan might have meandered in on this because there were no fans in the garage. So what you're looking at is you're looking at team members. You're looking at officials. You're looking at potential security. You're looking at maybe cleaning personnel that have access to these garage areas. Again! That was Marty Smith with US earlier. Lebron James among many who posted messages about this. He tweeted sickening Wallace, my brother! No, you don't stand alone I'm right here with you as well as every other athlete, I just want to continue to say how proud I am of you for continuing to take a stand for change here in America and sports at Nascar. I salute you as well. Well Sprint Cup driver Michael McDowell added. God help us the level of evil. It takes to do something like this is disgusting. This is enraging and heartbreaking all at the same time Dale. EARNHARDT Jr. tweeted simply a hope of a wins it tomorrow again. The race will be run today. It was delayed by weather yesterday, and as I bring Steven A. and Marcus into the conversation here I'll. Repeat that the area in which this was discovered, there were cameras all over it should be. Relatively easy investigation for the NASCAR officials to conduct, and we are standing by for any information live from Talladega Marty Smith will bring us anything as soon as there is any further news with that thought in mind, Stephen. We've not yet had a chance to say good morning to you I. I just want to give you the floor here. What are your feelings and thoughts as we see this story developed from last night? Well I. Mean I think that for me? Personally I'm a little bit different than the kind of sentiments that have been expressed by a lot of people, because obviously you find this reprehensible and disgusting, and it's incredibly sad, and we get all of that but there's a forgive the the figurative smirk that might end up covering my face or draping my face because to me. Me It's just folks displaying the ignorance, and the more they put it on display, the more it enlightens a lot of people in White. America about what Black America has been telling them about for so many years decades spanning centuries for crying out loud. This is not new. This is something that we've known existed for all time. This is something we know we'll continue to exist. And there is no way around it and so this there comes a point in time where you have to accept that reality one of the things that I would encourage everybody to go watch. If you get an opportunity, you can go on Netflix. You can watch that documentary thirteen by EVA do vernay along with others, sensational job of address mass incarceration in the United States, of America one of the things they highlighted. Is that under the Nixon? Administration where you're literally talking about you know White folks that are hippies and you associate them with marijuana and you associate black. Black folks with crack cocaine, and as a result of that will ultimately galvanize folks in your favor, because they'd be scared to death, and you'd be hearing words like law and order ad, nauseam that was in the sixties for crying out loud in two thousand and twenty, and we're hearing the same thing now. You just have to open your eyes. You have to pay attention to the parallels you have to. You have to pay attention to the correspondence. That's taking place right before your very eyes throughout history, we have had people that have been adroit at light laying low. Controlling the narrative, manipulating the narrative switching things to their favor, all in an effort to maintain or to retain power. It's something to kind of thing that has been taking place in. Usually they've been incredibly skilled at remaining in the dark and saying it's then it's not us, it's them. It's not us well guess what are coming to light more and more in this day and age I find that a cause for celebration, not a 'cause. You know to be saddened by anything. The I find these to be. Beautiful tops as difficult as it may be the fact that I nation appears to be becoming more enlightened than ever before and ultimately as a result. We're coming together. I find that to be a huge plus not a minus. If the ignorance has to show itself, and if the ignore, it has to showcase themselves in order for this to happen coming out of the dock to me. That's of course was celebration Marcus. Stephen. That's what I alluded to earlier man just come on out. Show us who you are, so we know how to deal with you and everybody. That's four. Right knows how to deal with you. Look listen, this is. There has been. We've been having this conversation for a long time. I mean we had this conversation we had. This conversation went capped kneeled about police brutality. We talked about racing all of them and man you. You look if you look around and social. There were people literally Oh twitter last night. Say A BUBBLE! Did this for attention? What what are you talking about like? It's not. It's not unfathomable that someone could do that. We sold Jesse's me. Make reference to that because people can conjure up things to create narratives to make people overreact. That's why saying earlier. Estimate I'm not doing this emotional. Rollercoaster I'm getting off of it right like I'm nuts and bolts to was going on. There is progress that needs to be made in this country I'm focusing on that progress that needs to be made. That's what bubble wireless is focused in on a by making his statements in Nascar. That's a lot of athletes are focused on a lot of people in society in general of focused on making sure that we draw a line between racist people and people that one good for everybody. That's the bottom line. Look for as much as this is egregious and the things that have transpired for low type. I grew up in the south light. It's not. An uncommon for me to see racist people are know what it looks like or even even be surprised or shocked about certain things that tend to happen. The bottom line is this. I'm often emotional roller coaster like if you racist just be that come out publicly and be that enlist separate that and you be a part of the minority port society that we want to get to, and we think we already are at so all of that being said I'm with Steve Day like in this bringing a lot of people to the light, and the hateful ones are fighting their battle because they see slipping away. Score you're not GonNa hear me say this very very often, but I wanNA give major major kudos to a Lotta. White folks out there in America because if it wasn't for them, protesting and marching with black individuals if it wasn't for them, you know engaging in the kind of of of you know resistance to whatever level of oppression we as black people have been feeling this nation I. Don't think some of these folks will. will be coming out I. mean listen the back. In the day. They used to wear the sheets and used to cover the identity and their faces that we didn't know who the hell they were by virtue of that now. Some black people, a lot of black people will tell you they exist in corporate America. They could be the very people that you're working for the very people that you're talking to I happen to be. Be Blessed we happen to be blessed to not certainly not have that at this company is because we've seen the actions on the part of our executives. And what have you over continuous basis? Elevated level of sensitivity that this place has shown throughout the years deserves to be commended. There's always work to do. There is no perfect place. Make no about it, but I'm incredibly proud to be a part of the Walt Disney and And specifically the ESPN family in that regard having set all of that I'm in the minority, because the reality is vast people, there's a vast number of people of African. American descent in the United States of America that feel subjugated I wouldn't go so far as to say enslaved, but feel subjugated by bosses in corporate America people that say all the right things when the cameras are rolling, but behind the scenes they engage. Eight your and the conduct. Subjugation that they devote their voiceless. They don't have a voice in that regard, green. Marcus knows exactly what I'm talking about. And so because of that because of these times that we're living, what we're seeing is a populous within the United States of America that sees the dramatic shift, and there's so appalled, and and put and taken aback by what they see transpiring that they can't hide their vitriol. They're coming out of the dock because they're being forced out of the dog. We as black people. People have to appreciate the fact that couldn't happen without a vast number of white individuals in our society standing with us and saying you know what we see where the hell you coming from. If we didn't see it before we see it now, and we're with you, so you have that other segment of the population saying wait a minute we lose some of our own here. Some of our own alternative guests and the poor in this noxious. We gotTA speak up and as a result. Of the dock again I find that a cause for celebration doesn't bother me at all. If we wore, we wore. Let's get it on. I liked that. I want to leave it there for the moment again. Marty Smith is standing by Talladega. If there is any further information on the investigation, we will have it for you immediately, meanwhile, Steven as going to stay with us here for a few more minutes, and we'll get some football conversation as we go his feelings about the Dallas, cowboys have been well documented. This should be a very big day in Dallas. We will talk about it and why and then Lebron and other NBA players have until Wednesday to decide whether or not they're going to play. What should we expect? Woge will answer that question as we continue this out. GET THEM ON ESPN. GEICO. GETS YOU ACCESS TO LICENSED AGENTS? Twenty four
