"Dp Dan patrick dot com Twitter Handle AT DP Show The son smoked the Nuggets last night 1 23 98. It wasn't even that close up two games to none Tonight. Nets Bucks Game three Clippers jazz game to following the loss last night. The Nuggets head coach Michael Malone said his team quit. They've had their way with us on both ends of the court. I felt we quit tonight. Which is something you never want to see. Um so I guess for Game three. I'm just gonna try to find guys that well, at least go out there and leave it all on the line. I may have a hard time coming up with five guys that feel that, but These two games. The second half, uh, have really been Disappointing and that's an understatement. Coach Can you name the names of everybody who quit the entire team Quit? Tell me who didn't quit last night. The worst thing you can ever say about an athlete is you quit. Michael Malone is not Bill Belichick. He's not Phil Jackson. He's not Pat Riley. They got rings. Michael Malone. Don't calling Mike calling out his team. Maybe they respond. Maybe he should understand to the Phoenix Suns are a better team. There are a whole lot healthier than the Nuggets are. Did. The M V P quit last night. Did the Joker quit last night? Or was he the guy who didn't quit? Can't you say this two year team in the locker room? And I know Michael Malone was saying, Hey, you know, include me in this. I don't did Did he quit? How did he quit? Look at what point did you quit coaching? I just don't understand this now. Do I like that? We get all this information. Do I like that? It's full disclosure. Do I like that? They're going to say something in front of the media makes my job easier. But I don't play for the Nuggets. If I played for the Nuggets, I would have been livid with my coach. You want to say something to us? You say something to us as a team. Don't do this through the media. Cause Then I would say coach who quit. Did I quit? How about we aren't as good as the Phoenix Suns. The Suns played extremely well, We don't have our starting backcourt. Chris Paul was wonderful last night. But are you telling me that Michael Porter Jr. Who has a bad back? He quit last night. Did the Joker quit last night? I'm sure they're going to respond. I'm sure they'll play a whole lot better in Game three back home. But don't call that your team and say they quit. Because it starts with you. How did you let him quit? Can't you spin this and make it positive? Where you say, Look, I I love that we had guys out there who were hurt, but we were still playing hard. When we go back home. We're going to regroup here. Do I need to call you out in front of the media to then make me look better by calling you out in front of the media. And it and it felt like you know, it was more of a PR move here. Oh, you know what? I can't. I can't send a message to my team. By talking to my team. I'm going to send a message through the media. Uh, I guess it can work. I guess the players will be like Oh will show him We don't quit. Really? You're just not a better team. The Phoenix Suns are a better team. You might not. You may say Look, we're trying to match them and we can't right now. This is a Phoenix lunch team that a better record than the Nuggets during the regular season. I think we look at the sons and we go all those cuddly sons. So look at them Member the bubble sons. Yeah, and then we saw what happened during the regular season and you're watching what's happening during the postseason. Now do I think if the Lakers were healthy, they would beat the Phoenix Suns. I do, but they weren't Did the Lakers quit that Frank Vogel come out and say, Hey, we quit. Just don't like when coaches do that. And do you see that in the movie? Just talk to your team. Many guys 12 13 guys, come here. We have to understand what's at stake here. Do I have to tell you what's at stake here? Let's let's be in this together. How do I got to make adjustments? Bear with me? We're going to try to counter some of the things that they did. And and we're going to be better in Game three when we go home. And I got to do my job better. Does that resonate a little bit more with your team when you talk to them as grownups instead of going and we quit play the beginning part of that again here with Michael Malone. They've had their way with us on both ends of the court. I felt we quit tonight. Which is something you never want to see. Um so I guess for Game three. I'm just gonna try to find guys that will at least go out there and leave it all on the line. May have a hard time coming up. Okay, so that's Don't know where you're going to find these guys like you. You don't look down the roster and down on the bench and go. Oh, my God. Did you see who showed up? Who's going to play for us? No, You know the roster here. But I didn't like it. I didn't like when I heard it, But Michael Malone knows his team obviously far better than I know the Nuggets. I would just know that in a situation like that, if the coach says publicly we quit. Now the media goes to you and says, Did you quit? Now you've opened the door. I'm allowed to ask you that. Coach said. You quit. Hey, Joker. Did you.

"In the outcome. It was the largest defeat in a bowl game involves history here. His postgame with voice of the bus. Mark Johnson was unfortunate We didn't play well started early. They had a 14 point lead a couple day plays on defense and then offensively No, we struggled so early on, and I think that what gave us a little bit of a spark was we put Brandon Lewis and and he ended up getting a, you know, kind of manufacturing our first floor running back. Derrick restart rush for 82 yards on 27 carries and had two scores. And Texas native Brandon Lewis. The true freshman came in and relief of senior quarterback Sam Neuer, completing six of 10 passes for 95 yards and added 73 yards on the ground plus the rushing touchdown. The bus finished the year at foreign, too. Nuggets are now one in three on the young season after losing to the King's for the second time in less than a week. Last night. 1 25 1 15 in Sacramento head coach Michael Malone to his team just didn't value the ball enough. 20 turnovers on the road. 1st 37 points. I'm gonna repeat that 20 turnovers on the road for 37 points. Nicola had 10 turnovers unacceptable. He can't have 10 turnovers in the game. Would say good teams don't beat themselves, but that'd be giving us a compliment. I don't think we deserve right now. We're not a very good team at the moment your coach mention the Joker who did take sole possession of the franchise mark for triple doubles, 26 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists to go with those 10 turnovers. "But they're clearly not bear than the Titans, the Steelers in the Bucks, who all might win their respective divisions. Okay, so they're not there. Kind of know where the ceiling is. Like to play a wild car contender to figure that out. But there's a definite ceiling, at least at Division. Leaders. Borderline elite teams in the NFL that that's there's a ceiling there. We don't know where the floor is, and if they can't be the Jets if they beat the Jets. It establishes a floor. They are better than the absolute worst team Dumpster fire in the NFL. At least we know that we got our spectrum here better than the Jets. Not as good as Three division leading teams. Okay, So now we figure out where they're closer on that spectrum. They lose. We still don't know where the florist And that's part Of what is fueling I think the level of apathy among Broncos fans It's just the What if they lose? To the jet. I hear is Michael Malone. Subject of story number two. I'm due for well, at some point, we're gonna have to put Jeremy in a small or position to combat that, and I thought he did so very well defensively was amazing. And all three Siri's Offensively, he's playing position. You haven't played a lot of history point shooting his efficiency. There was equally as impressive S O. I think he's a big part of our future and I would love nothing more to be able to continue to coach Jeremi Grant. The person as well as German met the player. Michael Malone back from Orlando, meeting with the media. Via zoom today talking about, of course, Jeremi Grant, and I think as we start to shift from What happened with the Nuggets to what will happen. I think we have to discuss. The fact that Jeremy Grant Is A key piece a cornerstone piece to this roster. Now I know they got to go out and sign him, so it's not like they have the flexibility to necessarily trade him unless they do. You know, a sign and trade with another team. But I want to do that. I wouldn't sign and trade him. I wouldn't let him walk via free agency. Because I think he is. On the same level. As Jamal Murray and Nicole Leo Kage in terms ofthe you cannot What this player go. Jeremy Grant. In that bubble was as important As any player on the court. Mostly on the defense of end. But still if they're gonna and Michael Malone said this today, they're gonna have to go through both late teams again next year. They need Jeremi Grant that is clearly Laid out for them. They need Jeremi Grant. In order to beat the Clippers again, potentially and potentially knock off the Lakers. If they meet up next year. Gotta have him Tomorrow. Tim Connelly will speak And maybe we'll get some little hints. On what types of players Tim Connelly is looking at In terms of adding to this roster because that's After you sign Jerry Grant, then it's about what are you going to add? To this team. How you going to get better? From the outside. A lot of ways you could get better on the inside Bobo. Can be a bigger part of this team, and, you know Improved throughout the season. Michael Porter Jr can Improve Jamal Murray Khun B, consistent throughout the regular season. Jerry Harris, Khun B. Better. There's a lot of in house improvement, which makes it exciting for the Nuggets because you don't feel like they're a finished product. And they're going to get better. But there's also outside help that they can go get to make themselves even better. And when Tim Connelly speaks, will start to be able to piece together potential targets for the Denver Nuggets. And finally today, you know, they do the compliment sandwich to go compliment, critique and then another compliment. This is like Not awesome story. Awesome story. Not awesome story. Here is a story number three. Going to the county D J. Lo mein. You bounced back comes around his score and D J. LeMay you on it owing to pitch has given the Yankees a 10 to 9 lead. ESPN on the call there, Matt, vast scourge in the Yankees move on to the LDS by completing a two game sweep of the Cleveland Indians deejay LeMay you with the game winning hit or what proved to be because the Indians had a bat in the bottom. Of the ninth inning. Why am I playing a deejay? Let Mayhew highlight Because on Short of Nolan or in Otto. Leaving by opting out of his deal after next year. Short of that. Letting deejay LeMay Hugo may turn out to be the biggest mistake that the Colorado Rockies organization has ever made. He also just so happens to be one of the best decisions. Iraqis made when they acquired him. With every Game that goes by in the legend of D. J. Lo Mayhew in New York. Gross. It is just another Shot. Against Another mark. Flemish..

"Interviews for Michael Malone, Tim Connelly coming up over the next couple of days today, Michael Malone spoke to US and Covered a wide range of topics. Tim Connelly will speak tomorrow. And now will help us You know, kind of set the course moving forward. Because it will be about the direction this team is heading and what potential moves they may want to make. With Michael Malone. A lot of it today was With some separation reflecting on what that run was In the bubble and Michael Malone talked about The thing that he's going to Remember the most takeaway. The biggest takeaway from his seems time down in Orlando. People won't understand if we just kind of way want to go home, but we never had that There was never a part of your process. There's never my fault process, my attitude that I brought the team every day, and just the fact that we were able to Face. Six great elimination means Azad mentioned after are being five walls to Lakers and look elimination in the face. And just walked right past events. That is something that you don't see very often. What they did was historic. To rally from 31 down. Twice Now, I would say moving forward as they found on Lakers. Siri's probably not the best way to go. And there will be jokes made. Between now and may be the end of time. About any time the Nuggets we are to fall down 31. They got him right where they want him. I don't know how you came with all the circumstances, not just how far the Nuggets win. Cause they've been to the Western Conference finals before. But how they did it the circumstances. The teams they went up against. The battles between like Jamal Murray and Donovan Mitchell. Look, I followed this team. When they upset the Sonics. I was locked in when the Nuggets made their run with chancing Carmelo. I don't know how you can say that This is not the greatest postseason run. In that franchise is history. Perhaps you want to take one from the Doug Mo days. But my Tom Bowen I think this is the best one and It's a little bit sad that that's the case because it didn't result and even a finals appearance. And that speaks Tio this franchise and what they've been over the course of their time in the MBA. But the run were they upset the Sonics. And ended up ultimately losing to Utah. And then When they ran through. New Orleans. They were the Hornets at that time in Dallas Mavericks. To lose to the Lakers. And now with this one has got to be the best postseason run with everything. It's certainly going to be the most memorable. I know decay. Mima Tembo is an indelible image in Colorado sports history. That's just an image. I think we're going to look at this whole run. And say that was as good as it has been with the Denver Nuggets. Mentioned your mall Murray in the epic battles he waged against Donovan Mitchell in the first First round, and I think The most important thing. From an individual standpoint. Is the development of Jamal Murray. His evolution, his his step up to stardom. I think was the most significant individual development. In the bubble, and Michael Malone talked about that. And what Now lies ahead for Jamal Murray, but he did not Utah Siri's Wass. History, making almost it was just so incredible to watch and to see him carried out through another seven game series into the Western Conference finals. But it was just a witness off clothes and personal. Oh, don't shoot. And now the Chandlers. But Jamal Murray is OK. I'm sure I could do this on the world's biggest stage against the best players the best teams in the world. Can I do this again, not just in the playoff next year before all 82 games. And Michael Malone makes a great point there because if Jamal Murray comes out next year And he's not at the level that he was during these playoffs. People will start to look at it like a flash in the pan. Right. A special circumstance. The bubble agreed with him. Call it a playoff version of Linsanity. Right, just a dude getting really hot. If he can't carry that over. And continuously because you have to do it until you get to the point where you are. You know LeBron or Steph Curry? Or one of these guys in a lot of it has to do with the rings. They have. You are going to be doubted. LeBron James is doubted the Warriors have been doubted, at times. Jamal Murray hasn't won anything. He's going to have to prove, as Michael Malone said night in a night out that he truly has become a star. And the tone for Michael Malone there when talking about Jamal Murray, it extended to a lot of different players..

"The weak side, both Turned and watch the shop. This time of the game, and you've gotta get possessions. Korea. No idea where Rondo Wass. This will be talked about. It was 18 to second chance points in the first half. This is straight to straight possessions. Where l A has got an offensive rebound with free throw line. I'm not saying that Michael Porter Jr has better court awareness than Tory Craig does. Hey. But let's say That Michael Porter Jr is caught watching the shot. Just like Tory Craig is Michael Porter Junior's athleticism. He might he might grab that rebound. And also, I don't think that Michael Porter would have been that way because Michael Malone has talked about the ability for Michael Porter to be an elite rebounder and to be an elite rebounder. You have to have the mindset of a rebounder. And he does. I have no problem with Jeremy Grant being in the game. Over Michael Porter. I really don't in this. Siri's even have a problem. With Paul Millsap being in over Michael Porter. Tory Craig should not be in the lineup over Michael Porter Jr. You just shouldn't And I know Michael Porter Jr was terrible defensively. Michael Porter Jr. Being terrible defensively wasn't a problem. When the Nuggets were winning. You didn't hear that talked about a lot. But when they're losing wall, Michael Porter, Junior's bad defender, been bad defender all along. He's a bad defender at Mizzou, and I'm sure in high school The Nuggets found a way to compensate for that. In other games and not last night. I get it. Michael Malone's frustrated He hates rookies. Maybe Bobo lt's not going to be Nicole. Yo, Kitch is back up. Maybe they ria Mason Plumlee at the behest of Michael Malone. But to me If your choices are Michael Porter and Tory Craig. In this Siri's, and that's what you gotta do you take. You can't worry about what happened against Clippers. Like who's better for right now, when you're getting killed on the glass, and when you need buckets down the stretch, Tory Craig isn't doing either for you. Not every player is Jamal Marie, Nicole Yokich and Khun B. Nearly flawless at all times. Everybody else on that roster has their warts. Just what wards can you live with? And I thought last night. With rebounding being as big of an issue. Is it wass that Michael Border could have helped, at least in that regard. And maybe even on that play in particular. 5 to 2987 to take your thoughts continuously on nuggets Lakers take the conversation in any direction that you see fit. Coming up. "Respect the Nuggets is actually the worst thing for the Nuggets. We talked about this a little bit yesterday when we're previewing Game seven. Michael Malone and the bad news bears. Metaphor. And how the nuggets seem especially Michael Malone. Try so hard and goes out of his way. To characterize the Nuggets as this huge underdog. That nobody thinks We will win and For the most part, it wasn't that hard to dio. There were more people warming up to the Nuggets. Once they forced a game seven. I think there are a fair amount of people that did think the Nuggets would win last night. But now that they've done it And if people are going to listen to Jamal Murray, that's like, Don't the Nuggets, then lose? That edge that they have. If all the sun expectations starts to creep back in in some P prominent people in the media are saying, no, I think the Nuggets beat the Lakers Richard Jefferson today. On, Twitter said. I'm going to be the first national media member. I'm picking the Nuggets to win this Siri's, if more people follow suit. You the Nuggets lose. What makes them special and white motivates them. And I say all that and I worry about all that, and then I realized wait a minute. They're going up against LeBron and Anthony Davis. Most people are going to pick against them again. Jamal Murray can yell. And all he wants, and he could call for it in every press conference he does between now and Friday. And say We deserve to be respected. "We say? Salesmanship. Selling a bill of goods there our play of people who have jumped onto the Nuggets bandwagon. There are plenty of people in the media that believes that the Nuggets will win tonight's game. That are giving the Nuggets their just due for doing what they've done in the last two. Siri's Like this team. Does not do well with expectation. They are great underdogs. And Michael Malone is going to play that up. Tell his Last day. Because that's what his team thrives on. They're not ready to be a team with the target on their back. You have to be the fun team to lose team. The A team that doesn't care. It's just going out there and ball in there. The underdog. They're the ones that everyone counts out. They thrive in those situations. Don't do well with expectation. And so Michael Malone is going to continuously feed that the good news is if the Nuggets win tonight. Nobody's going. Pick up the beat the Lakers. Nobody. Nobody. It just taking ESPN is example. 19 is pin. Analysts all picked the Clippers to win. They're going to publish that, and there's maybe going to be one guy. Who will say you know what I'm gonna be the rogue. I'm gonna be the maverick. I'm going to pick the Nuggets to beat the Lakers, but the vast majority of people are going to say that the Lakers are going to be The Nuggets. So all you had to do was get through a 48 hour period. Just get to tip off of Game seven, perpetuating the idea that everyone's still counting out the Nuggets. Everyone's not, but also no one isn't there's just enough truth in there to make it work for Michael Malone. Story number three today. "On the call. You heard it right here on extra sports 1300. I literally found the best highlight to encapsulate last night's game. Don't you think? Nuggets fall in Game four. They're completely on the ropes. A Scott Van Pelt noted on SportsCenter last night, no team has ever come back from 31 down twice in one playoff. Thank you for that, Scott. Nuggets lose and the biggest problem. Is once again Michael Malone's inability or, um, unwillingness. To involve Michael Porter Jr. In the offense. In addition to other things, but there was a moment. In that game last night that I will bring you back to And that moment led to the moment you just heard Cause and Scott Hastings talking about Third quarter. Nuggets get the deficit down to four points. With with mostly with the starters. But don't forget Michael Porter Jr. Was the main catalyst in them, making it a game at halftime. The starters come in the start of the second half, get it down to four. Michael Malone needs to make some subs brings in Nicole Yokich, his best buddy, Tory Craig instead of Michael Porter Jr. The Clippers, then proceed. To go on a Tended to run. During which Tory Craig Of fouls called by Leonard leading to two free throws. Made by the way gives up a 32 Co I Leonard loses a jump ball to Koh I, Leonard And also bricks of three of his own. And I'm not sitting here saying that Michael Porter Jr would have defended Kwai Leonard. He could not do that. I guess. White Tory Craig didn't guard Co I, Leonard. So if you want to make it more about Tory Craig playing and not about Michael Porter, not playing fine, but that was the moment that was the stretch that lost the Denver Nuggets the basketball game. What is once again, Michael Malone. Trying to be the Clippers rather than beat them. You're able to come back in that game. Wait the pedal to the proverbial medal. Get more scoring out there on the floor. But all this All this is a futile effort because at the end of the day we're getting mad and Michael Malone for being Michael along. This is what we're yelling about. What we're upset about is exactly the thing that got him fired from Sacramento. He wanted, he insisted. Despite pleading from the front office, he insisted on trying to make the Sacramento Kings A defense first team that generated offense off of transition looks not A pioneering way to go through your To try and build the champion. I'm not even saying that I Think that Michael Malone should be fired. I'm just saying he can go a little heavy on the defense. And it could be a little frustrating. The Nuggets played good defense last night, didn't they? They still lost and they still We're out of the game more than they were in it. And of course, the secondary story, which became kind of the primary story is what Michael Porter Jr said. After the game. About him needing to get more touches. Which is basically what he said. And that is completely speaking out of school for a rookie. You should not be airing that in the in the post game press conference, Damian Lillard called him out for it. George Karl called him out on it. Many other MBA types said this is poor form, and I agree. I am not. Plotting Michael Porter Jr for raking Michael Malone last night. What did he say Anything that was untrue. And the answer is no. So now the Nuggets turned their attention to Game five. Which will be heard right here on extra sports 1300 tomorrow tip off at 4 30. Why? Because Boston and Toronto Game seven is a far more appealing game. In the Clippers, trying to close out the Nuggets. So now the the windows that those two teams are on the entire time now flipped. Everyone gets to see Toronto in Boston in Probably very few people will see the Nuggets and the Clippers. But honestly do the Nuggets deserved to be seen by a primetime audience. I would contend no. Story number two today isn't any better, but Given what it could be. I would say it's overall positive news, Courtland Sutton. Going down with a shoulder injury in practice today. This on the hills of von Miller's injury. But Mike Klis of nine news up in Denver is reporting that is a sprained A C joint. His status for Monday is up in the air. In fact, he's listed as questionable. If you want to be super positive about it, Nicole Yokich was questionable for Game three. So and he did what he did. But we don't know whether Cortland son will play on Monday. But the good news is is that Courtland Sutton will be playing moving forward this season. Not as serious as it could have been. And not as serious as other recent injuries to the Denver Broncos have been And story number three today. You just heard it If you just tuned in. This is going to repeat for you my NFL predictions for the year. M V. P is Cameron Newton. The rookies of the year or Clyde Edwards, Hilaire and Chase Young. The division's I'm going to do this off the top of my head. So be very impressed in the A F. C. It is Baltimore, Kansas City, New England and Indianapolis. Wild cards are Pittsburgh. "With head coach Michael Malone before tonight's game against the Clippers and coach. I was listening in the postgame show after that last game, and you know you're right. It was a game you could have one. But you know, at the end of the day when you get down to this few teams left in the N B. A great teams are great teams for a reason. And you know what? They just they found a way to do it. Yeah, You have to give them credit. No doubt they are vory team. I just felt the two crucial runs one being at the end of the second quarter, 12 to Lakers and the clothes again pulled the six Lakers. Those were deciding runs on. I felt their offense could have been a lot better turnovers down you. She could have been better and obviously could have been defensively. But you know they convention ways and all this day about sound on that court, but I still see a we still feel is a team that we let one go tonight. Now that's our challenge going into Game four. Let's get that game back. And even this Syriza did the fast break points. Surprise you. Obviously, that's the first time in the playoffs. That NOAA number was even close to being that I 30,000 points is ah, a real number. That is a very disconcerting You don't want to give up no more than 15 best points little on 30. Andi. Obviously I turned over steal their break that times, uh, steals a double team, the coal on the bounce, they're able to force him into seven turnover That is very unlike Nicola. And they turn those into easy points. But we watched the film. We have a better job of sprinting back, stopping the ball locating their shooters, and I think players realise the importance of that going into tonight's game make that team play in the half court. Coach Jamal Murray has been getting the business by a bunch of people that don't understand the game of basketball. But what everybody needs to understand is that for a big large part of the game he's got Paul George Kawai Leonard Patrick Beverly on. I mean, you know, come on, get real people. I mean, Jamal, was you looking against Utah you have is 32 points. A gain 50 plus in the field, But keep us from three and we don't get past your jobs without Jamal Sorority was Unbelievable. And then we're going to the second round against a big, tough, deep, defensive minded Clipper team. As you mentioned they have the ability to throw all defensive players at 48 minutes. I don't top of that. When I'm not playing a one on one with allied with Patrick Beverly and Paul George, they start double teaming them. They get in a ball out of his hands. So I think last game he had nine assists, only two turnovers. I talked him. I think you can even have more assists because they're putting two on him so much. He suspected off the ball quickly and trust his teammates. Then that's like you. Don't listen to people. This is your job. I don't read the sports pages. I don't read the Internet because people sometimes don't have a very good understanding of what your mom or he's trying to go through and how much he's trying to give to this team into the city. Coach. You bring up assists. And now listen. I understand that. You know, when you put a dude into a game, he doesn't think to himself. I was checking in like a man. I think I'm gonna go out there Mr Shots right now. But having said that What is aggravating is when Joker gets double teamed, and he makes the right play out of that most of the time. And then you know his teammates don't make him them pay for the double team. That's frustrating to guys like me. Yeah, I think it's rather frustrating to Nicola, the state a lot of people because Echo is making the right play. He's got two defenders on him broken Ln the find the open man, and the only way you're going to stop them from putting you on the ball is if you do make them stay, for example, we won Game two. They were doubling Jamal and Nicole in the fourth quarter, and Gary Harris stepped up in a three big three stress which enabled us to hold on for that win. So they continue to put you on Jamal and two on the coal and we don't make them pay. We're only going to see more of the same, so the guys have to step up. We had a ton of open looks last game. You know, I was in Germany and Jamal really struggled to make shots. There were four of 12 on threes that were considered wide open for the nearest defender was more than 60 it away. So you're generating good looks at what you can ask. For now we just have to step in and knocked him down. But we can stop getting frustrated Coach last question for you. But in what n ba world we live in where Evita Zoo bots all due respect gets more free throw attempts than Nicole, you OK? Welcome to the bubble baby coming. That's why I thought it was just, you know, honest, made by Patrick Beverley after the game that was saying they've been brought to me by so many different people, So it's hard to ignore it because people bring it to you all the time. But Nicola shot less free throws and robots. We shot 10. They shot 26. There's no real story there, but, yeah, I think Nicola Being a first team all MBA center, you know, and getting as much as they used to, not like He's just out there and we don't play and I give him the ball. He's got the ball whole lot and obviously, hopefully tonight he can get to the free throw line and allow us to set our defense because That was definitely the beneficial for us on both ends before. Well, I mean, you know how average where you want to put it. I hope he flails his way into. Ah, it's victory tonight. Good luck Coach appreciated their areas. Head coach Michael Malone. We have tip off right around the corner on the altitude radio network. Denver.

"Going to be successful. If Michael Malone and the Nuggets don't counter it. Because even though Nicole Yokich is a better basketball player than Paul George It is perceived that Paul George is a star. Is a superstar. M V p candidate last year in Oklahoma City. So is Nicole Yokich. You know, and it's not like Paul George has this unbelievable track record of just stacking up championships. Get to want one conference finals with Indiana. And I don't mean to turn this into. Ah. Pile on Paul George because I like Paul George. I really do. I like him. I think he's a very good player. I think he's a star, but Nicole Yokich is better than him. And the idea that Paul George can say what he says, and it will influence the officiating and Nicole Yokich can walk up with you. No handprints all And scratches all over him and not get more calls. There's something wrong with that. I don't know. Maybe if Nicole Yokich can lead the Denver Nuggets to a Siri's win, he'll start getting that respect. But I mean, he's not encore, I Leonard's level. I would 100% concede that But he is not only at Paul George's level Paul George Has a little ways to go to get to Nicole Yokich is level. But this is the game. The Clippers are going to play and they're going to win if Michael Malone doesn't come back at them. And in his post practice press conference today. And this was in the last 30 minutes or so. Michael Malone had a great one liner. Which is what Michael Malone does very well. He does the one liners very well. Michael Womb, was asked about Patrick Beverly's comments. Malone said. Quote. I don't listen to Patrick Beverly a whole lot. If Cho why Leonard was talking, maybe I might have listened to it. Kwai Kwai Sze, a great player. End quote. Great one liner coach. Good job. And I'm not being sarcastic. But you have to play this game. From the tip. Tomorrow night. You got to be on there, Officiating. Not not to get Nicole Yokich calls That's not what this is going to be about. This is going to be about preserving Calls that Nicole Yokich does get and rightly so. Doc Rivers carries a lot more clout than Michael Malone, Paul, Georgia and Patrick Beverley. Carry more clout than a lot of members of the Denver Nuggets. Right or wrong. That's the way it is. So Michael Malone has to engage in this Just to get us back to zero. Right just to negate tried in the gate with the Clippers were doing And it's unfortunate and it's not a part of basketball. I like I don't like the that the officials in basketball, perhaps more than any other sport are so easily influenced. By coaches and players. And no other sport. Do you see? Officials get influenced as much as you do in the MBA. And it's It's not great, but they're human and as long as there's not rules in the rulebook Preventing them from getting on the officials every single time down the floor. It's going to continue to happen, and at the end of the day officials or human Could you sit there? Even if you were paid like a referee, Which isn't that great? Let's say your professional referee. And one of the most respected and revered coaches in the MBA. Doc Rivers is just riding you for 48 minutes. You don't think you would bend a little bit. Course you would. It's an unfortunate fact. An MBA officials are a little bit, I think softer when it comes to these things than other leagues. But it's something the Clippers can exploit, and the Nuggets have to do everything in their power. Teo fight back. To complain back. Get underhanded, get get passive aggressive. Michael Room. Get tossed from tomorrow night's game. Do whatever you need to do. You can't let this advantage such a huge advantage You have in this Siri's You cannot let it go away. Because if they're going to start officiating Nicole Yokich tighter And not giving him the calls that he deserves to get. Clippers were goingto wrap this thing up quick. 5 to 29872 will take your thoughts on the comments by Patrick Beverley. And the responses by Nicole Okay? And Michael Malone. What is a flailing That's our superstar. 5 to 29872 back after this. From the chief Vapor traffic center..

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray lead improved energetic effort to beat Clippers in Game 2

"Yesterday the nuggets lead. wire-to-wire top the clippers tie the series at one game apiece a little surprising sure I mean they got off to a huge lead and held onto the victory lead biggest takeaway from the nuggets game two victory over lic. So many positives take of this from Denver they jump. The clippers gave him the off punch in the mouth from the start, which is to say it was led by their styles, Jamal and nickel Yokich. They got lots of contributions from other guys as well. MILLSAP I thought was good in this game. Gary. Harris Marco Porter Jr. coming off the bench gays in the middle of a lift as well and even rant. Jeremy Grant was their defense I thought was exceptional. There was a several times where the clippers were in the pint and there was two or three Denver Nuggets, contesting shot blocking shots, and really making the clippers feel them in the paint, which is important. But the biggest takeaway for me is we knew the clippers we're GONNA come back. This is a twenty point late in the first half and it. was like in the NBA that never lost especially in the playoffs. The biggest question for me would the nuggets be able to hold onto this game and win it, and there was a crucial moment that minutes ago in the fourth quarter I think it was Po Georgia to three brought to a five point game and that was the sliding doors moment of the game. What would the nuggets through from? And began to our and just show that that first quarter net hop surge was nothing more than like. All right. We don't get swept all would they actually be able to maintain what they've played up to for that point and they did they came out and hit three threes after that and basically stretch the game out and Kinda sealed it from there. You know like it was sort of sent the message that the clippers like we're. Not going away and and again, it wasn't just Murray and Yokich was other guy is contributing and so to me it did sort of say, Oh, I, picked I, think the clippers to win this five. But after watching that performance in the way that they won that wire to wire, I'm a little more now convinced that the the the nuggets can make this series and an an a longer series I still think clip is ultimately win it. But if it goes six or seven, now, I wouldn't be surprised because I just thought that the Denver Nuggets after Guy Wander the first quarter they thought it off well, and then they just Kinda sunk from there and Michael Malone said we need to have better energy for the entire game and they absolutely did last night. So very impressive performance from everyone yokich again was great and so is Mary but really important that those other. Guys contribute and make this more than just a sort of a like a like a run in that first quarter just to get just to get system, they actually sustain that the entire game. So that's what I thought was most important for the nuggets at the something there that they can build on going forward in this

Michael Malone -- Shame on NBA for not allowing coaches' families in bubble

"Nuggets coach Mike Malone went after the NBA, on Friday, calling their policy of not allowing coaches to bring family into the bubble quo criminal in nature. So you're speaking to reporters ahead of game two and Malone answered a different question about the bubble by saying, he needed to get something off of his chest. So let's play the clip is day number sixty and and the reason I bring that up is because The players have their families here, which which they deserve, which is the right thing to do. Referees are allowed to being one guest, which is great for the referees. The coaches, the coaches are not allowed to bring anybody. I say shame on you NBA. This is crazy. I. Miss My family and I think I speak for me speak for my coaches and probably all the coaches down here sixty days and not having access and not being granted the privileged to have my family come here to me is criminal in nature and that shouldn't be Jin at all so I want to get that off my chest. So. Nuggets coach Mike Malone very upset there I know some other coaches sort of a you know had his back with these comments. Tasks way. What do you think is Malone overreacting is fair. What's your opinion? Well, let's just clear this scenario here just to make sure everybody's got it. Straight the players didn't have their families until this round either so they went. Fifty fifty five sixty days without seeing their families either and thinking back. I. It's Kinda surprising that they didn't demand that from the beginning or or at least a lot earlier right. So other twenty, two teams that came down there. Now, there's only eight fourteen of the teams didn't see their families whatsoever but now to to Michael Malone's part of it because it is surprising that. The players are allowed. So about fifteen of the thirty five people that come with each organization, the fifteen players get their families to come with them but the other twenty don't, and that's surprising a really surprising that I I didn't know the referee ruled that the refusal. To know that at all, I'm not sure win that took place if if that was from the beginning or what, but it would make sense for the coaches to have somebody a significant other possibly there are there are probably they're older as well most of these coaches. So a lot of them probably don't have little kids that would wanna be down the bubble, but significant other would make sense and and I'm just surprised looking back. We didn't go. We talked about the hundred and thirty five page manual over and over and over again in the months of April and May and June while this was happening. And all the rules and know we weren't really up in arms about it because we know it's a players league and they get first crack at everything about looking back. Yeah. It would be make sense not just for the coaches and the party to have somebody there but the players as well from the beginning and. I don't I'm not I'm not gonna get nickel and dime in think this hotel room is gonNa cost much I. Know It's costing the the NBA A lot, but they can afford to put up. Or even. An older these coaches are older may not even cost them another hotel room they could just be in the same hotel. Now I'm nickel and diming make sense that have their families there at least. One or two people they don't have to have a cousin Joe and cousin bill come on but at least their their their nuclear core family. That would that would make sense. So I'm with I Echo I echo coach Michael Malone. Salon couple months, but they probably should have had it for the whole time and not even now? Well, no, you can't say I don't think we can say they everybody should have had it from the whole from the jump from the start because we let's try and remember like months ago how insane like this ideal even was and whether it was even going to work and we were pretty convinced the more people you try to add into the bubble, the less likely it is going to be successful. So that meets sense like I'm sorry guys you are going to be away from your. Family's players included I. Think we're the frustration is coming from with the coaches and I think rightfully is it sounded like the NBA at the time when they're making the manual going through all the logistics and say, okay, well, the players like you know if they're here the playoffs, they can bring people down coaches. We don't WanNa lock that in right now because we're not convinced this whole experiments going to work this whole campus things going to work, but we will revisit it. That's what it sounded like they sort of said to them they didn't say no, you never see your family again. You want coach come down here and your coaching. It sounded like, yeah, that might be a possibility. We'll put that on the side burner and then we'll revisit that and now we're at the point to revisiting it and they have decided that they're not going to do it and it sort of probably you're a coach down there going look this is working. This is a safe you know why can't we now the coaches that remain here with now opening up of rooms and stuff like that I think. That's a fair like frustration if I was a coach.

"Guess I would have a different perspective on it. So that's good. Your humble you keep things in perspective. When you win the gold in 2022, then you're going to be wearing it around right? Oh, yeah, For sure. Where that everywhere. Wait. We want figure skating and you're all your credit. You're also incredibly graceful. And and you see you all seem like Just amazing human beings. I'm getting the vibe from you. They that you're as advertised, but behind the scenes Brady like when An athlete from Russia or something is walking by you. You know, D do you say anything is their trash talking among figure skaters. Um Certainly not from my end. I think there's like a mutual respect that we all have for each other because You know to be at these high level events and to compete at this level all the athletes in the locker room and backstage, but we all know what it takes to get there. Andi think we all have kind of a mutual understanding that we all love what we do. And at the end of the day, we're all just there because we love it on because we love to compete, So I think there's kind of like an unspoken come on camaraderie between everybody. And that's the Olympic spirit. Right? That's what it's about that no matter where, what country you come from, no matter what is going on in the countries that you come from you all come on the one big stage all respect each other in the you know, in the spirit of competition, and everything like that, like the Olympic spirit is a really thing, right? Oh, yeah, For sure, For sure. I mean, I have so many friends from all over the world, and I think that's so cool and it's It's a very unique thing that I have. Um, I've been ableto have in my life now for Gosh, probably. I think my first international was when I was 15 for like, seven years on. I feel so incredibly lucky that I've had these amazing opportunities. You know that. Not everybody gets tohave. Griner. You're goingto compete again was the calendar look like Um, you know, so far are grand pretty season is still on except it's going to be a little bit different this year, so I I'm believe it's going to be like domestic. Um, but skate America is going on in Las Vegas. I think the third week of October so be on the watch for that. Yeah, we definitely well with all these sports coming back, we You know we're all taking all of these in and watching them maniacally, and when you guys get back out there to compete. Will consume it as maniacally as any of these other sports. Brady really appreciate you taking some time. I know that. You know you're an Olympian, so your schedule is pretty tie as you're getting ready. For 2022. I certainly appreciate it. Welcome to Colorado Springs and we'll see you around, I guess. Yeah, Yeah. Thank you so much for having me. My pleasure. Brady will talk to you very soon. Brady Tunnel joining us here on drive time sports. If you see her in the safe way, just like say, hi door. OK, make her feel welcome. Here in car offsprings. It never ceases to blow my mind. When you hear about the athletes who not on Ly come to train here but live here. And we had quite a few of Brady's teammates like Marai, Nagasu like Lexus, and Chris can Arum. Hat on the program leading up to the last Winter Olympics. And they're just right here in our backyard. It just never ceases to amaze me. Will the number ofthe elite world class athletes that air just like down the street? And I certainly appreciate Brady taking time. Tio come on, and I appreciate everybody at U. S figure skating for making that happen. We've been trying to make it happen for A few days now, and I'm glad it it got done. So thanks to Michael and everyone there at U. S figure skating that was cool to get Brady to No. One. 5 to 29872. I guess this gives us a chance to kind of shift. Here's a little bit. We got game one Nuggets and the Clippers coming up at 6 30. Let's hear from Michael Malone in the last few minutes that we have Together. I hears. Michael Malone on a couple things first. I talked about this during wine Ahmad that the one player that I feel supremely confident that's going to be able to get his numbers is Nicole Yokich. And Michael Malone after practice was asked about Whether Nicole Yokich is the guy on the court that has a decided advantage over the L. A Clippers Here's clip number eight. I think every serious Nicole Yokich has an advantage. You know, He's a great player. He's a first team All N Ba Center, the best center in the MBA. So regardless of who we play, I think Nicole has always gotten advantage because of Who he is and how talented he is. No, But you know, the Clippers present a lot of problems. As I mentioned they have a tremendous depth and the other perimeter to give guys like Jamal Murray different looks. Last time we played them. They had Kawai autumn They had pulled George on. They had Patrick Bradley on him, so we will have to find ways to help Jamal. Get up and get quality looks. Yes, McCall Yolks will have to be a focal point of our offense. I look to be very aggressive in terms of scoring the ball on say, how do we know we guard a great three point shooting team, a team that is one of the leading leaders in isolation place for game for guys like, Oh, I pulled George Williams. In defending them without fouling is gonna be huge, limiting their free throws jumps, but, um Our biggest challenge, I think is how do we go from emotional high last night and get rammed up to play a game one tomorrow night without being a lead out Because if there's a letdown we've seen what Ella Khun duty teams there. There. There are Well, the talented team is going to a great challenge for us collectively. Other than that the Clippers are pretty garbage. Oh, I mean, we're under no misconceptions. Right? I mean, this was the stage that we wanted the Nuggets to be on. We didn't We didn't know how they would D'oh. But this is the stage that we wanted them to be on that they should have been on. And now here we are. I think it will be very interesting to see How things get matched up. I think Jeremy Grant has done a really good job in the past against Kawai, and I think he did a good job against Kawai in the bubble game..

Gasp at his Clear Miss Education on the subject. He's not trying to hurt anyone. You know, we've been dealing with Racist comments, anti Semitic comments These Aren't that So While it is baffling. That a young, college educated man would say such things. Not the worst thing. That people have said. That NBA players have said in recent times. Michael Malone was asked about Michael Porter's comments and whether they were a distraction for his team. Here's Malone on M. P. J. Yeah, It's not a distraction for me. You know? Obviously I'm not the thought. Police. I'm not gonna tell anybody players, but they can and can't say all I would say is that just be Sensitive Tio current Situation in our country and throughout the world in regards secure on the virus, But um Michael Porter and any other player in a roster rod, they're entitled to their opinions, their intelligence and their ability to have free speech. But when it gets to the point that you're attacking people Or deliberately hurting people with your words, then that's when somebody needs to step in and say this is not okay. It's ah And to Michael Malone's point. You. You have to know the room. Okay, so some Yahoo on your Snapchat. I want you to weigh in on How overblown the corona virus pandemic is. Don't take the bait. Don't take the bait. You're in Orlando in a bubble because of this pandemic. There are people around you. Maybe we kind of tilt her head and be like, What do you mean by that? But Michael Porter's trying to come off as the smartest guy in the room. And saying those things And that's the price he could have. Nobody would have blamed Michael Porter Jr and said, Oh, really miss opportunity for Michael Porter to bring delight the mass conspiracy to control the population. Through the Corona virus pandemic. Nobody would have said that if you just said Yeah, I don't know the easiest thing to do right now. And I'll raise my hand on this, and I think a lot of us are guilty of this. It's so easy for us to say I'm not a health expert, and and we should do more of that. Right. I think we as a society on both sides should raise our hands and like I don't know. I'm not. I'm not a health expert. I'm listening to this health expert, but I'm not a health expert. And that's what Michael Portage and then he went into the vaccines. It's just not not a smart thing to say it's insensitive. It can be potentially hurtful. To some people. Fight. Given what some athletes have said. Over the last few weeks. "Us to believe that they're going to make a deep run in the playoffs. All those things that we talked about that they would have an advantage. Youth, um continuity. Let's see that through the eight games, Let's see the impact of that. Because I gotta tell you I'm not as worried about. Houston. As some other people are. goes basically three exhibition games without playing for their five starters? And then they go. And then there, you know, pacing themselves in the games. It's like If you want to drop a team that's vulnerable in the first round, the Nuggets would be at the top of your list. So I think that this alters the way Michael Malone can approach these eight games. I think it means I think he needs to get him out there and I think he needs to go. You know, go hard if on ly for half of the games. If you want to be You know, choosy an and Ressam dudes or whatever, protect them from injury that that's fine, But you got to come out Game one against the heat with a full complement players. And you They came to the exhibition games were so they could ease back into the seeding games. Nuggets don't have that. And we'll see. Michael Malone is talking right now to the media, and we'll get we'll let you know. Who he expects to be in the lineup tonight. But at most, we're getting one nuggets exhibition game at full strength and I don't even think they ll be at that. They're going to have to take thes seating games more seriously than they were originally planning. The good news is, I think Michael Malone knows that. I think you heard it in his voice there. I think he's frustrated. By the staggered arrival times from his players. He's frustrated that he can't get his guys ready in the way he wants to I think he'll alter it. And I'm not saying they got go all out, and they have to get the second seed or they have to get the third seat, but but they got a You gotta look healthy. They got look in shape. "I want to work on a line see if I can coach our guys on the floor I don't know how much Michael Malone can coach that up I feel like that's a mindset and that's inherent to players certainly inherent to a player like James harden Mike d'antoni doesn't have to tell him to drop contact a lot of last night was about the Lakers having the two best players on the floor a lot of it comes down to that and a lot of it comes down to just the wings of the Lakers being a match up problem for the Denver Nuggets but then there's also an aspect of last night that boils down to effort in mind set I mean they missed a ton of threes I get that I mean that's I mean shots missing shots what is the most maddening thing that you can say in reviewing a game we can make shots okay is that is that something that you can remedy well if they're just shots like Paul Millsap had said after the game like I don't know why they're not going down they will probably go down as the season goes on I hate putting a loss on miss shots because there's nothing unless these guys have the worst form and your say all well obviously they're releasing it too early or they're taking bad shots now if you're taking bad shots that's different now get torn taking bad shots thirteen good shots from the perimeter and missing him anyway but that's not correctable not not in any way that we can see go get up some more shots after practice shoe a hundred and twenty five instead of a hundred I I mean that is what makes you feel despair about a game like that is when it's something like was shot saying go down soul that is true but there's other aspects to the loss last night that are more correctable looking to draw contact looking to get to the wind that's another thing when you're not making shots why not give yourself one of the easiest shots of all in that free throws in the nuggets didn't have that mentality last night instead they tried to go over and around Anthony Davis instead of trying to go through him and that's a mindset thing and I know the nuggets made it close in you can look at a couple of sequences in say if this goes differently then maybe the Denver Nuggets win that game last night but I look at the game in its totality and I say that the Lakers are on another level exactly like Michael Malone said the other day they're on a different level and when a team is on a different level what can you do being coach him up you can have mine set and everything like that but here's the other part about this season in this story continues to develop and it seems to be like an outsider mantle here because he just doesn't seem like Michael Malone is being asked about it as much as I would think and maybe it's because Tim colleagues a better person to answer this question but the nuggets have to look at themselves in the mayor top to bottom and say do we have what it takes because there was some sense of well the nuggets are going to be primed to compete to take over once the war your fall will guess what the warriors have fallen maybe it's a one year things for them maybe it's longer but the warriors have fallen and the nuggets don't feel like they're any closer to contending then they were when the Golden State Warriors were winning seventy three games so can you get to where you want to go can you get to that level with effort with mine sat with practice or do you have to look and say we got a bunch of dudes on this team and when you have a team that just has a bunch of dudes you have to package up some of those dudes and go get a better dudes you have to take two or three of these guys that are nice players yeah why come they bring something to the team but you got to say you know what we got a sacrifice two or three guys to go get a guy that we can put it right there which your mom Murray and with macaulay okay and you thought maybe Michael Porter was going to be that guy but is becoming more and more apparent that he's not whether it's just believe within the nuggets franchise ordered some built in bias against rookies or over hyping of Michael Porter which the nuggets are somewhat complicit in that whatever the reason is it sure doesn't seem like Michael Porter is that difference maker that we thought he could be that X. factor because he's still not get is back to knocking on the court you can't worry about what Michael Porter is going to be if you're not providing them a Pat to be that guy on your team if you trade him somewhere where he is the second best player on the team or the bass player it is very likely that there will be some nuggets fans and people within the nuggets organization that will regret wedding Michael Porter junior go but if he does not have a path to be that guy in Denver then take him take Molly Beasley who's walking out for this year anyway Hey Gerry harasser take Paul Millsap packaging with Michael Porter and go get yourself a better player turn Paul Millsap into Kevin love turning will Barton ended the martyr Rosen turn Gary Harris into the martyr Rosen then this is a real gut punch of a loss but it's also one of those losses that should make the entire now gets organization think long and hard about when what they're ceiling is because there it feels like it is not even a glass ceiling it is a regular ceiling that you can not see through and the nuggets hit it last night what can they do to bust through that is a coaching is it effort or maybe this team is a player away five two two nine eight seven two will have plenty more on the no gets lost last night here some wind of DNV are will join us at four twenty to discuss at length even more white to happen with the nuggets last night coming up next Vic Fangio on what he wants through Oct to improve on and it had some "Six in a row for the nutty how bout that yeah I love that they are getting it done they beat the wizards one seventeen to one oh four Jeremy grant off the bench with a season high twenty points to coach Michael Malone will take the W. but he knows there's plenty of room for improvement you build a twenty point lead in the third quarter long we had ten turnovers fifteen points and that's what the fourth the fifth time this year when we built lead and just did not execute or handle the ball and value the ball at a high enough level so we have to be a lot better in that regard but we scored that many points in the second our defense was really good we didn't turn it over we got out and ran after the second unit was really good for us nuggets at Sacramento

"Murray for three by himself the nuggets are Memphis Grizzlies Denver's cracked the century mark we still have less than three minutes to go in the third quarter one old two to seventy one cons on the call altitude radio you heard it right here on action sports thirteen hundred yesterday the Denver Nuggets we were wondering coming off of the effort in the second half against Brooklyn whether the nuggets we're gonna put together complete four quarters if you listen to Michael Malone wasn't totally happy with the third quarter he thought they let Memphis back in the game but look that's as close to a four quarter performance as we have seen this year from the Denver Nuggets one thirty one one fourteen is the final and look at Jamal Murray hit that jumper you just heard thirty nine points yesterday yes ma'am this is a bad basketball team no we will not be saying that the Denver Nuggets Donna tonic confidence necessarily for beating Memphis but the fact that this team was able to play well from quarter one to quarter for is something we have not seen this season and they for the most part did that yesterday and just in time right because in Tom's the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night that is one of the teams that the Denver Nuggets are gonna have to beat in order to get a top seed in the west and potentially go deep in the playoffs it will be a fascinating game on Wednesday to see if now the nuggets even though they're sitting at the top of the standings can start going on a run here based on that performance yesterday and one of the unsung heroes by the way from yesterday on song by me just now but certainly was not on song in the locker room one show one show again was the topic of conversation Jamal Murray asked what sparked the Denver Nuggets yesterday one show Michael Malone who stood out to you tonight one show and it's not stats it's just his energy one show heard on Gomez has become the best cheerleader the nuggets have and it's pumping them up so whatever you're doing one show keeping going what the nuggets with the good performance yesterday blowing out Memphis one thirty one to one four team five two two nine eight seven two that's five two two X. "Head coach Michael Malone. Loved the return of the D guys. Understood losing three in a row the numbers that we've been allowing would not anywhere close to the standards that we set for. Self defense starts from the ball. I thought did a good job of picking up making them feel as early Mason. Plumlee was everywhere. I thought Nicole was really active in his pick and roll defence. And we got some great multiple effort possessions, Nicola Yokich at twenty three points and twelve rebounds. Melik Beasley twenty three points nuggets. Got win. They had to have one more game before the all-star break. Sacramento comes to town tomorrow night in football. Just breaking now on Twitter multiple reports saying that the Houston Texans are expected to release wide receiver Thomas for whom they traded with the Denver Broncos earlier this season. So DT looks like he will be on the market. Of course, he tore his achilles. And he's recovering from that is been trophy winning quarterback Cuyler Murray from Oklahoma will enter the NFL draft tweeting yesterday he is giving himself full-time to becoming an NFL quarterback. The Oakland A's drafted Murray ninth overall last summer as manager Bob Melvin said they were hardly surprise. By Murray's decision. It was a Heisman Trophy winner. So do you do all you, can you know, obviously, we draft him for reason. Like I was saying earlier, but I it's not a shock to me. So, you know, we still have the rights to them, but looks to be he's going to have a nice little football career. And and we are going to be rooting for them Murray was scheduled to report for spring training with the as in four days the Browns signed former chiefs running back Kareem hunt NFL still yet to rule on that shocking. Video that showed hunt kicking and beating a woman earlier this year that prompted his release from the chiefs. And when that investigation is done expect some sort of pretty heavy suspension. One would think Rockies pitchers and catchers officially reporting to Scottsdale today. What will the future hold for John gray will explore.

NBA: Nuggets' Jamal Murray drops 48 on Celtics

"Talked about it last night. Speaking of which Mr. Murray had nineteen points in the fourth quarter as they beat the Celtics. I tell you nineteen points in the fourth because he ended up with a career high forty eight to end the game nuggets. Head coach Michael Malone on Dubov Murray's ever into a big basket the whole night throughout the game. And even when they tried to turn out the pressure. He found ways to get to the rim. He hit some incredibly difficult shots, but he was in his own side nuggets. One five in a row they're nine and one on the season they head off to Memphis tomorrow and hangover from the trade involving DT and is around Maria's Thomas quoting after. The Texans beat the Broncos on Sunday saying some things are kind of showed the Broncos organization in a bad light. So to speak Thomas talked to orange blue
