"Mariners farmhand. Exactly. Different Andrew Moore. I would not put it past Jerry to acquire the same person or trade away the same person multiple times. Your Senate has done that. Absolutely. But this is a different edamame. They also got Jake lamb from the Dodgers in a cash move on deadline day and they picked up Matthew Boyd and Kurt kasali from the Giants. Yeah, they're bringing they're bringing all the former northwest area amateurs back in. They're bringing back Boyd and lamb and now they just have to go sign Michael Kim Porto and they'll have completed the set. I guess he's a free agent, right? They're busy, Jerry. They also promoted this guy Jared kelme. Have you heard about him? Seems like a big addition potentially. You've seen his triple ace that's? All right. I don't think he was wearing that. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, everyone. Let's focus on where he's Castillo. Why don't we focus on the fact that thankfully it seems like Julio was going to be fine. I think that that is the bigger takeaway here, right? We will not be living the Travis jankowski lifestyle for terribly long, but right, yeah, so the Mariners have been a bit banged up on the AL not a long-term thing, but he did get hit by a pitch and so he's out for now and they've got a couple other guys who've been injured. But they got a big upgrade in Castile and it's really exactly what they needed. And so much like the Padres, I guess who have a rotation that is locked in not just for this year, but for next year too, with, well, in the Padres case, they have Darvish, they have Clevenger, they have Snell, they have musgrove. They have mania. They have all these guys right and I should also mention they got a prospect back for Hosmer, right? J groom. They did. Didn't mention that because they paid the money. Again, flexing their financial muscle. Yeah, they paid a deal down, but for the minimum, right? Yeah, and so the Mariners now have Castillo, who is under contract for next season right before he hits free agency. And then, of course, they have Robbie ray. They have George Kirby. They have Logan Gilbert. They have a lot of talent there. They have Chris flexing around and Marco consults. A lot they can put buoyed in the bullpen if and when he comes back. So Castillo, I hate the is he an aces he not an ace conversation. He's a really good pitcher. He's really good. He's a playoff caliber starter. I think is the way that I would think about him, which I think is probably also the way that the Mariners are thinking about him in terms of his impact. Yeah, he's probably the best pitcher on the team, right? I mean, Robbie ray was signed to be, but has not quite been it's Castillo or Gilbert and I think it's probably guessed you. Right, and so, you know, Castillo started the season on the IL with the shoulder issue, but since he came back from that, he's been really good. And he's basically what the Mariners needed, at least on the pitching side. And they paid a price for that. They gave up prospects. I mean, they pushed their chips in, much like the Padres did, and these are two teams that I don't know if you've noticed. I've never won a World Series, and in the Mariners case. I've never been to one. And can't recall the last time the Mariners spent the playoffs seems like it's been a while as well. So he's got jokes. When you're in position to make the playoffs as the Mariners are after the longest drought in North American professional sports, et cetera, et cetera you got to go for it and they started slow too and they have really turned it on until very recently and they're in pretty good wild card position and you've got to feel good about that team, which probably record wise isn't much different from where last year's team was, but the underlying numbers are much stronger and I think you just got to hand it to the Mariners for realizing that yeah that was a 91 team last year, but it wasn't really it was super clutch or fuki or however you want to put it and they didn't rest on their laurels and they knew there was going to be regression and so they went out and got guys. Many of whom were Cincinnati reds. Yeah. And they have just become a better team between that and between the internal promotions. They're just a pretty solid team now. So you gotta be excited. Mariners magic, Mariners mojo. It's happening. Yeah, I think they're like, you know, and they're gonna get Hannah back soon, and he will hopefully be okay, and it sounds like the long-term prognosis for Julio is fine, anti France was banged up a little bit, even though he didn't go on the IL. He didn't go on the aisle, right? Someone else went on, Dylan Moore went on the IO. They had a game in Houston where there were some very creative field and configurations going on because like, boy, were they were they stretched then because of injuries in a specific game. But yeah, they're in the exact right place on the wind curve to pay extra to get a good picture. This is exactly what they should be doing. And yes, they gave up. They gave up a haul. They gave up two top 100 guys to get Castillo and they gave up some interesting guys beyond that, right? But also the thing about it. Is that they haven't been to the playoffs in like, you know, it's gonna be like 21 years. Like their dog can their playoff drought can drink. It can also drive without supervision, hopefully not doing both of those things simultaneously. It's time I went on a Mariners podcast before the deadline. I think that they were expecting me to be very circumspect and like they should be conservative and they should do what surplus value tells them. And I am going to say now what I said then and I'm going to do a swear and a big one. I was like, let's go. Go get a guy who can help you. I wish that they had upgraded the bottom of their 40 man a little bit more than they did, right? You know, I think he had a run tonight against the Yankees, but like Sam haggerty is factoring prominently in the Mariners plans and Kellogg is not good. Man, it's tough because even if you just did like a minor league equivalency of his triple-A line this year could be an above average, big league batter. Yeah, but I know there's been some width there in there's been there's been there's been some with their. It's just starting. It's like yeah. He just might not be very good. The number of times we have gone back and forth on that keno deal is wild because now I'm sitting here like gosh, it would be really nice to have it. If they had to bail Cano's deal, but like just checking out like 24% of the time and triple-A and like, okay, but what? These. Anyway. I mean, if he could be even decent, that would be huge. It would be huge. Because they could really use that. They should have used another hitter, right? If anything, it's sort of surprising that maybe they didn't deal Kel Nick like if it's gotten to the point where he is a change of scenery. Any trade value?

"To every Broncos game. All season Long Ko Way back with Broncos quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. I'm Dave Logan, the Broncos getting ready for their season opener on the road against the New York Giants. We talked about the Giants defense. Let's talk a little bit about your offense and you you have and you and I've talked about in the preseason some of your thoughts on some of the Some of the dudes you have on this Bronco's offense, but you look at let's just talk a little bit about since it's the first game of the wide receiver spot. Then I see Courtland back from that A CEO injury Jerry Judy, ready to take a step after a good rookie season and KJ Hamler talk a little bit about the receivers and sort of the mindset you have as that quarterback and what you expect from them. Yeah, I really I really just expect those guys that go out play with us Swagger that that you see you know it and practice and throughout the preseason. Those guys who Have so much confidence in themselves as as a whole and we have so much confidence in them as well. Um, those guys like you said a girl like Jerry, who's coming off of a good season. He wants to make this a great season. You know, season to remember, you got a guy like court was returning from injury. You know, I want to get him back to that Probo caliber player that We know he is, um, KJ guy who you know can do so much. He's extremely smart. He has a good feel for the game. Then you got Tim. Uh, Tim does all the dirty work, man. You know, sometimes, you know, he's in there blocking safeties blocking linebackers and It was good to, you know, turn on the tape and watch them how the success that he had last year, So no, we weren't. Those guys are just continue to build off the momentum that they had last season. It really just, you know, get things going. A lot of our energy comes from those guys when they break the huddle. You know, you still runs a lot of fromage would confidence with energy, and that's a sight to see. Uh, same question for the running backs. You know, Melvin Gordon looks like He's ready to have a big season. He was better in the second half of last year than the first half. And then you have, you know, a brand new running back in Javonte Williams, who looks like he's got the goods. I one of the preseason games, went back and looked at. I was really impressed with his blitz pickup. I mean, he stuck his helmet under the chin of one of the linebackers, which is an important component, obviously to just being in the game and that position but talk about both of those running backs. Both of those guys who work is fairly hard and it's been an emphasis on those guys and just being on the same page with the offensive line in the passing game, when it when it comes to protections, things like that, Like you said, you turn on the tape procedure, Vontae. Picking up pressure in the preseason throughout the course of training. Melbourne has been doing a good job with that as well, Um, we know that they're screaming, gifted runners, Um and You know, those guys do a great job of just, you know, finding the lane and making one cut not doing too much. And you know, critics opposed runs for us. So, um, no, they expect. You know those guys to huge parties. Office know whether it's running the ball catching ball out of the backfield. Both of those guys are versatile, and we're glad that they're on our team. Teddy Bronco fans are excited about this. I know you are as well. I certainly am appreciate the time and good luck against the Giants Problem. Thanks day. That's Teddy Bridgewater, sponsored by the law offices of Dan Caplis is serious law firm for serious cases. Ryan Edwards will get Benjamin all Bryce Thoughts about today's matchup against the Giants. That will be next. And this is the key away. Broncos radio network. "Am a teacher. So I'm up and down, moving a lot helping out my kiddos. When I would stand up, I would be lightheaded sometimes to the point where I almost hold onto a wall or a chair. My lower back used to bother me a lot. I later learned that neither of those were normal. I no longer have any of that back pain and the dizziness is a thing of the past and a lot more aware of what my body is trying to tell me, Max Living has really altered my life, not only from a chiropractic adjustment stand Point, but also from a nutritional standpoint, exercise approach, so I would absolutely consider it a lifelong approach to life. I'm Stephen. Michael Kim. And I'm an kin. So we've been going about six years. I got to the point. I couldn't walk around the block over since such pain, my family doctor. I asked him what I could do about it. And he says, deal with it. So I was looking for a way to try something different, But I never thought of seeing a chiropractor and I just basically came along for the ride. The way we look the way we feel we have got so much energy. He's in so much a better mood all the time. I'm 73 years old and I'm very, very good health. I'm in better health by far than I was Six years ago. And like we told Dr Wilson Welcome here forever. So that question of Doc, Can you help with X condition? Can you help with my migrant headaches? Can you help with thyroid? Can you help with actors chiropractic help with X Well, there's a lot of evidence that chiropractic because we work with the nervous system helps with virtually everything. Yeah, there's a study you You talk to me about a study here recently about this? Yes, there is a study in the Journal of Vertebral Subluxation research. Which is a chiropractic journal. Basically, the research studies studied almost 3000 individuals, 150 different chiropractic offices across four different countries. So very big sample size. It's the largest chiropractic study. To date, but it showed that chiropractic adjustments produced a positive effect for virtually every health condition. So talking about symptoms, allergies, eczema, colds, headaches, menstrual issues, headaches, neck pain back pain, even for overall well being. Everything improves with the power of a chiropractic adjustment, and my favorite part about this study showed that there was also no ceiling to the benefit that was raped, meaning the longer these people got adjusted, the better they felt. And these people don't come in here saying, Hey, Doc, help with my allergies. Hey, Doc, help with these things. No, that was just reported. This is reported things that got better. Mm, yeah, It's amazing that we're not I want to be very clear about this because I'm naturally skeptical, Very skeptical. It's like how in the bleep, could you possibly Report to be able to help with everything like, Come on, There's.

"Despite professing that a new government would be inclusive. The announced list of names consists exclusively of individuals or members of the Taliban and their close associates. And no when it certainly does not meet the test of inclusivity. Um and it includes people who, um, have very challenging track records. Oh boy, the Taliban, surely using their wacky scarves to drive their tears, Anthony Blinken and accusing them of a lack of inclusivity. The how many people didn't react to that with Either astonishment or laughter. And we've noticed a real lack of inclusivity among the Taliban leadership. Are you freaking kidding me? Do you even say that out loud, Both he and the old Jake Sullivan. They cannot speak except in university ease. They have a complete inability to communicate like real human beings. Apparently Apparently, they're just used to hanging out with people like each other. That's just that's just crazy. Talk next so and one of the many problems we're coming up on the anniversary 20 year anniversary of 9 11 and you know with it. Winding down in Afghanistan looking at that over the years, and everything like that. One of the things I was talking about last week is Trying to push a Modern Democracy on a country that is living in the year 1000 How about you start with even a 19 fifties democracy? We had no women in our government until what? The sixties really? We didn't have a Supreme Court justice. It was a woman until the seventies. There are still way fewer women in Congress up until like the last two go arounds. Like four years ago, there were the percentage was very small, but it's still low. So we're expecting that the Afghanistan all along even when pre Taliban when we're just trying to have the government, we're trying to get him to do things that we didn't even do until a few decades ago. Right? Yes, it's a great point. So how bout them allowed to allow them to at least try to be a country living in the United States in the fifties, as opposed to the year? 2005 or whatever. That just seems always crazy to me, but well back to Anthony Blinken, who is unencumbered by you know the weight and bother of having any testicles. Uh, you got to keep in mind if Michael went crazy, for instance, and and abducted my wife and my Children. I would Any criticism of Michael Kim, coming from me would be pretty muted, too, so blink and he's in a hostage situation, So of course, he says. You know a week and then mealy mouth things about the Taliban have not lived up to their promises of inclusivity. But please don't kill our people getting up to the news. It's actually happening today. Taliban and Qatari officials say the daily International flights will resume and the first international flight since you know we closed down the airport and took off with our last Guys a week ago. The very first international flights took off today with Americans US citizens on the plane. Nothing is being mentioned about what the hell we gave the Taliban to allow them to do that. That story is being unreported, and I'm sure the government's not offering up those details. I would assume the leak out at some point. They don't want to call this a hostage situation. You know that men want to use the word stranded a week ago. It was absolutely a hostage situation. It was just like a low key behind the scenes hostage situation as opposed to more than avert. Iranian gun to their head on TV sort of hostage situation, but it was absolutely a hostage situation. They demanded something you know they did, and we and we gave it to him. You know, we did. Even though we claim we never negotiate with terrorists. These are absolutely terrorists who are holding us citizens hostage and we paid them a ton of something. We either, you know, worried they're going to tell them how to fly those helicopters. We just gave him a week ago. We're going to give them billions of dollars or we're going to get international recognition, the U N or something we promised. Um, but we negotiated with terrorists and paid off. Um, you know the hostage takers? That's clearly what happened. It was a beautiful example of a negotiation that was 100% certain to reach an outcome because neither side could walk away from the table. You got hundreds of Americans held hostage. The Taliban sees an enormous economic opportunity and plus, they don't want to 100 Americans. They don't want the headaches and the cruise missiles that would bring And so, yeah, they got to who? God knows what and how much they got, but they got it in 200 of our people are coming out. I guess now 30 50 80,000 people who put their lives on the line to help the U. S with the promise that we would get them out there as good as dead is now believed that more than half of the 100 some 1000 people that got out of there. Many of whom are headed. The United States were not any of those people that helped us out during the whole thing, so we don't have any idea who they are. They're just Afghans. They're just random Afghans, and or did any Taliban slip in there as a way to get in the United States? I don't know. It would have been a pretty clever idea. Anyway, the dispatch said of Blinken statement yesterday. We're in a weird place where we're officially more concerned about the lack of gender diversity at the top of a terror state than you know about the fact that it's a terror state, which is a good point. Um, Also, the Taliban took over the Norwegian Embassy in Kabul yesterday. Um Smashing wine bottles and burning Children's books. So that's the new Taliban that.

"It's not what it used to be is certainly not what it used to be an american. Clearly you don't have to market a white individual in order to elevate the profile of a sport in this day and age but do you believe baseball believes that i think baseball is starting to get. There was evidence of this at the beginning of the season. Where if you looked at applebee's twitter page one of the front facing platforms for mlb Their entire banner was a lot of minority places. Fernando tatis junior. It was one soto. It was ronald the kunia junior. Mookie betts they're starting to realize that what makes baseball different from the rest of the american sports landscape. Is this cultural diversity. The fact that you have people from different countries and i think you're seeing this emblematic in the game in the shift in the unrolls on the field of the fact. That backflips are now an acceptable thing. That self expression is now an acceptable thing that sneaker culture is starting to leak onto the field through Through the cleats You know people wearing jordan's on the field. People were painting cleats on the field starting to see the self expression on the field that you didn't see before it started to show that baseball has all these cultures come together right and baseball club in many ways is so emblematic in both good ways and bad ways of america as a whole because you see so much of the kind of cultural diversity and a segregation within the clubhouse reflected in in the cultural spirit of america as well in our current moment. Wanted to ask what you think about this real quick because a friend of mine who hosts his own radio show on urban view sirius. Xm radio channel one twenty six. His name is joe madison. They call them the black eagle. He's been around for a very long time. I've known a few years loved the man. He sent me a quote yesterday. He sent me something. I wanted to know what your reaction is to this. He said what do you call someone who speaks in you know. Basically this is a quote that he pulled. What do you call someone who speaks three languages trilingual. What do you call someone who speaks two languages bilingual. What do call someone who speaks one language american. That's what he said. That's what you sent me. Daddy sent me. And i was like the damn. It is true. And i wanted to know. What do you feel about that quote. And how much do you feel. A quote like that impacts the agent and the asian american community in terms of how americans in this day and age view folks who are from a different place. Then obviously the united states of america particularly as it pertains to this more debatable. Well i think we're starting to have a shifting discussion and discourse around what it means to be american in this country and i think that transcends the idea of sports When i was growing up there weren't any asian. Americans other than pablo tori and mina kimes and michael kim on on. Espn and now. I'm sitting in this position as a bilingual non-american warren person talking to you guys about what.

"Backlit. No. Q miles red know but all the stuff with them crash into the windows again. It's all like old schooled comic book Night of the Living Dead. Yeah feel to it took six stuff. And then I also like on top of like the juxtaposition of that like classic Night of the Living Dead like hands through the window horror ships this showdown between the priest and Blake is very humid. Right? It's a discussion even the black doesn't say me that works like but the priest is very much just like it's me, I would say something but but let's spell no. I just like that for as Supernatural Supernatural as they are they're actually like they can be related to like that. I thought that was neat. We are here for a reason the goals here. You got it. Like we're here for your here for a reason. I know your reason and I'm going to try and fix it. You didn't even change your name. I can tell me Malone million below. Do you have any goddamn family? What's Thanksgiving? Like hey William. Can you pass them pass the stuffing sure William. Thanks Rogan. It's like Heather's but with Williams and they're all priests rural fire whole fight on the edge of the roof and a good hunk of that was shot in Reverse to make the fog look like it's going away. Yeah, when the fog is there's no way to make fog disappeared. So they have to shoot it and reverse like don't blink apparently blinking gives away. When that they they had a clip about John Carpenter and Adrienne Barbeau saying like yeah, he's like you have to go through all the emotions and I want to see you go through all the emotions. Just put in reverse and don't tap. Meanwhile my roof rested it's the second time I said that because Tom Atkins was telling stories like there's a Tin Cup Russia to take off the table. I also like to is when he hands off the gold and this is just cuz it's the seventies and it's special effects the head and everything starts blowing and it's the same blow that off all the muses had in the movie Santa. Mike Olivia Newton-John's got a roller skate by Gene Kelly like I'm making this movie cuz it's getting close to my house wage. They're only like Olivia. Everyone else sucks. Okay. So since this is the podcast for her against game already talked about finding my gaze in the movie. And I said, yes, it's it's it's it's it's Nancy down and gently that's a couple I want to have have definitely definitely definitely Nancy Loomis. She's after she's have to miss thing. I like to see them get together after this is over. Let's blow this down and go start a new age Forum. Was that famous phrase all Pockets? Well what happens what would happen if the leopard we're okay. Okay. Oh, I think they are. I mean there were no women aren't exactly cuz we know that we know there were women goes because they have wigs and long eyelashes Scholastic and what's his name Blake wage? Yeah, just get get get get this one hundred years Supernatural RSVP cruise. There's another tip-off everywhere. They go everywhere. They go either glowing eyeballs like instance. They get everywhere everywhere. They go there's fog there's wind and it's weird lights Beyonce's in the fox. I'm away from the fog off and it's close to the end of the latest. Party doesn't start till I hope is actually photogenic proof this photogenic proof. I can back this up with stuff. That's just a movie because okay. There's the same as the 15 seconds sexy. Nobody safe. Maybe don't say where one of the ghosts is knocking on Tom Atkins door, which is terrifying scene. I love the fact they they didn't didn't knock what happens. Yeah, like we're not even going to pretend we're just here tomorrow baby hugs and Cycles. I love that. I also love that they're polite so they might also be gay Canadian lepers. I mean, it is a Pacific Northwest who knows where the Borg at that point. It wasn't as California was in his day. But they're not it's knocking on the door and he comes out when the clock strikes one and that's when they're hour is up and you see the shadow at the door. It kind of does the snagov put almost like the shadow blows away. It's like higher exit stage left. It's a very dancing move. And she tape. Okay. Here's my question in the sound. We talked about every film somebody Somebody's Watching Me the full title was someone's watching me explanation point which by law means it should have been a musical. Yes. Yes. The fog was a musical Who Would You cast Michael Kim o go straight to Hell in a musical magic thinking is Blake. No, no, no. No. No Mandy Patinkin is as as as John Houseman in the beginning that has to be like a whole area code. Oh my God, wait, who's Blake? I'm all alone. Think of like esoteric New York actor. It's like that's not that's boring. Okay, fine. Here's mine. Who do you okay? Go hit it. Only made you this is Steve Jobs even Mary Carol Chang, Sean. Oh God. Oh my God song. Here's another version. "Saloons to the stage and Sinatra. So, Tom Now you're in l A and you started working at the comedy store where you made some lifelong friends. Yeah. The comedy team stayed together. Tim and Tom for six years and and in America wasn't ready for us. They weren't ready for way were funny. We didn't preacher anything. We did 11 prisons and one year anywhere. There was racial tension. Tim and Tom went there and we did colleges and high schools. And as you know, the Playboy circuit, But wherever we went, we just want to make people laugh, you know, And when the team split up it it broke my heart after six years. Thought we were going to be the best comedy team in American and and that was my art of Michael Kim won to be more of an actor. A woman broke up the act, to be honest with you, but that's in the book It is. And then after that, I ended up on the West Coast. You know, you know that because everybody gravitated To the West Coast in those days because Johnny Carson was in New York as the host of the Tonight Show, and when he went to the West Coast, That's where the comedians are gravitating because one of terms thanks so and your career was launched one appearance. Pretty prints got a sitcom the next day. I did one appearance in CBS and me to development deal of following day and I was on my way. I never stopped working after that Crystal Rachel, But getting to the Tonight show you had to go out on the West Coast and try to get out at the comedy store. In those days. There was no improvisation there, The laugh factory. It was the only game in town and I'm telling you comedy in the seventies was a rock and roll of the seventies. Every night Someone was hitting discovered at the comedy Sir. I was on stage every night with all these unknown comedians. David Letterman, Robin Williams, Jay Leno Gallagher, Michael Keaton, The girl Waiting tables was Debra Winger. Yeah, There was others. Great stories about all of these people that have been a part of your life in the book, of course as well. But you talk about the comedy store. Being the only place that people would you know, really be discovered. It was the one place to go that if you got there, you were gonna make it somewhere. But then you talk about Carson and you know 60%. 70% of households were watching the Tonight show with Johnny Carson. And you're absolutely right. If Johnny loved you You had a career. You had a life. 26 million people watched that show Dave. I can't tell you what the pressure was. You know, I've always worked on unless they torture a ready B positive mental attitude book I could, and I worked on being a com Comedian who enjoyed being on stage. You know, I always used to use the the same actors if you are and you will be so I would act as if I was a very confident stand up comedian and I became one. I think I began to love the stage and love stand up comedy and had fun on there had always had fun every night, but that first tonight show I can't even describe to you what that's like. His 26 million people watched that show if you want when you're walking out on that show Every agent managers, Vegas buyers, sitcom producers. Everybody watched that show. So one appearance could couldn't make the difference. I was in the unemployment line the night before I went on that show, And so the pressure is enormous. And not only that my mother had everybody in R V watching this show, so if I bomb I could even go back home. You know, right? Exactly. Well, Ed McMahon gave you some great advice before you walked out on stage. Yeah, I was just going on. He should remember. You know, let me die aggressive. I get bumped three times you didn't make up When I get bumped for the fourth time, I'm in makeup and fed. The Cordova came in the producer and them in makeup, and he said, I got bad news for you. And I said what he said you're going on. I don't want that started. How you get a lump in your throat the size of a grapefruit but make man just before I went, and he said to me, and I done it my whole career say Should Tommy have fun, and the audience has fun, have fun out there and the audience won't have fun. It doesn't matter what's going on in your life. Just you gotta set it aside, right? And and I like you, even if it isn't working. I tell young comedians have fun. The fact that it's not working, and then the audience relaxes with that. So look like you're having a good time. You note that Mitzi Shore gave you the big break of the comedy store. Carson gave you the huge break on the Tonight show. But it was Sammy Davis Jr that gave you a boost as the National touring Act, it was Sammy. Yeah, it was interesting. He had a TV show called TV Show called Sammy and company that was filmed out of Lake Tahoe at heroism the towel and I wanted to do the show cause I 18 Sammy perform and there was no one like him on a stage. He resist incredibly electric and I wanted to do his show and I finally got on his show and I prepared a routine of me growing up in Harvey playing basketball on all black basketball team playing football. I like football team and all the routines are being the only white guy. In an all black situation, and Sammy fell off the couch laughing and it was this one of those nights. It was just hot and he told me he said, I'm gonna take you on the road with me. And he took me on the road for three years and taught me so much about our business, you know? He had more business acumen and this baby finger than most people have in their whole body. This guy was Mr Show business, Dave. He could. He could sing as good as anybody out there. Frank Sinatra would tell you, Sammy never hit a clinker. He could sing as good as anybody out there. He could dance better than anybody out there. He could do comedy as good as any comedian ever met. He could do impressions, but in any oppression out there, he could play the piano..

concourse we have a direct link Michael in Ithaca New York hello there Michael Kim looked in your show for years and I'm thank you for taking my call and hope you can give us some guidance my pleasure Sir what's going on so we're going to live in a rural area not really any difficult yeah her family's been in the area for a long time so are you for cumulated houses and it's a small family so actually got all properties and we help people to live in a cell right now all my wife and I are like stewards of three separate properties and to a very one time are always sitting empty we've always wondered about how can we put surveillance on them to protect them but due to the expense of the sale for so long that we've always just kind of keep question about the special offer recently we had a incident with a neighbor the claim they did not do it and remember all the sheriff and the nature he was incredulous that we all have our property surveilled so my question for you is how can we surveil three different properties but three different situations without breaking the bank or real estate rich but cash poor cell well how far apart in the house not too far apart we'll say twenty minutes from from one to another to another okay well that's all right so there's still has you have to drive I was just wondering for the properties like more in like you know one general area okay well the one houses in a very small village in that does help very cheap on limited by five but the other two don't have an any internet at all either to the right cell service at all we're trying to figure out how to do this well you know my first thought of I thought I would when you first were talking I thought maybe they were all together and that's what I was thinking like you could put like an eye in the sky camera if you could see all three properties but that's not possible do you have anything valuable in these houses or you just get squatters what what he made as far as the tools or you know yeah every place has got something now we try not to have to try to have something for every property so we don't have to keep moving stuff back and forth that kind of thing yeah yes I like the third your son is he being there and all I had okay all right so so there is some valuable stuff fire on the inside I'm if you don't if you're not going to be there and you want to make sure that nobody's getting in there you know you're just gonna have to figure out how to get a security system I mean seriously it doesn't have to be you know five hundred or a thousand dollar or you know whatever it may be in a hundred dollars a month monitoring you know I don't you know I I'd like to give you all kinds of suggestions but what I would recommend is what I have on my property this is a simply save system I mean you don't you can monitor certain doors you can put a camera in where we want the camera you get real time alerts you can see what's going on you can talk to whoever's it might be in the house at the time you can say I'm gonna call the police and if the end is twenty four seven monitoring is fifty Bucks a month to build these systems required to have wifi so while they were gone so you learn a you know okay I mean they were they were SO well they work on wifi they do need wifi but it's a cellular backup line so you know you could configure that way but you know it but you're still going to need you're gonna need to have these up front costs you know least couple hundred Bucks in order for property and it's some point you know I don't know if it's worth you you know leasing out properties or you know whatever you you know thinking of other ideas for the property the old no they were not yeah there's no free solution I mean you know let's say you do get cheap wifi it's fifty dollars a month and you throw a camera there right well you know we'll know how to if somebody is hell bent on getting your house they're gonna know how to disable just a simple nest cam yeah yes so but if you're looking for protection of your stuff and it you know does make a lot of sense because it's it's not that expensive to start looking at something like simply save you can look at simply save Kim dot com and they also have other sensors that you might want to look at meeting like you put a sensor underneath the water heater with that thing blows at least till now the idea through the national yeah exactly and then you know you've been then you have the you know you can you can see exactly what's going on and you know what's going on and because you also have peace of mind we don't you know what's happening and that's what I like if I'm not if I'm not there at least I know I can look on the camera can see what's going on I I kid also know that if the alarm does go off that it maybe it is the water heater and maybe I need to figure out how to get somebody in there to start looking.

"Welcome back six seventy six three eleven Sam gonna go back and get back to social media to and Michael by the way good morning brother god bless you we love your ministry thank you Michael Kim staying in agreement I think I have started stay in really come on that's great you know one of a lot of days after listening to you that that is funny Kim and depending on where you live they're probably saying what what is this you know I used to be self conscious I'm not a morning care way back when when I first start on the radio people used to call and complain or or write me like a nice little note an English teacher south all right I don't know as you say you know I I know you know there's going to you know but it's appreciated or yeah I appreciate it you know or something N. N. I used to get self conscious because I'm from Philly and one of the silly things is here like if you live in Philly Preciado you know we just we don't care about the essay we just appreciate it so and I still and I do what I used to be self conscious and I and and I will keep doing it because I couldn't stop I mean you know it's just what we what we say like if you ever listen to like a sportscaster problem still you know you always see yeah and I used to be self got now I don't care I mean it's like people people just figured out it's me and then there's something else I get a lot of comments on I can't think of what it is but anyway but that's funny can you give me a laugh I appreciate that good morning from Irish spring North Texas I love going to where you are from Matthew from Denton Texas I really like that in the area because it's you know it's whose green rolling hills that's great and and same with that Tyler area is just such a pretty part of Texas anyway Stephen Dan I'm truly thankful to have a voice like yours you you keep a level head during all of this I'm sorry brother Pritchett encouragement all right six ten three six three eleven ten remember I must say good morning you get right to it shows here that blast and here we go good morning go ahead and we got nothing okay so let's try again you're going to hear a little static and then your own go ahead hi hi I would one morning on if there is good morning how are you good good morning but Hey I was wondering and you may have address if I'm sorry if you have is there any way for us to opt out of the stimulus check no I don't think there is I expect question of course obviously you not everybody's getting one so if your household income I've I forget what the numbers are it's seventy five thousand in income but household income I think is a hundred and forty her forty thousand total then you wouldn't you wouldn't get one but I don't think there's a way to opt out so if it's not something you need I would give it you know would be a great thing to give to maybe give it to your church or I don't know I haven't heard I've been trying to get some reports on church giving that haven't had much luck but at to see if it's down or up hopefully it's being maintained but yeah I I think they've made it difficult to opt out only because it's a whole nother like you would need a whole separate department of the government to opt out of and I know that it's ridiculous hi but I haven't really looked into it so thank you Russian wife and the rancher's wife and we will definitely fall under that where we will get a check but we don't want to if you're gonna be a conservative under Obama you better have a bit conservative now too and if you look at the bad idea and one kind of probably not a good idea another kind but I can tell you that you have been encouraging how many people in our church has been faithful even though we are doing online service isn't that they've been so faithful to find ways to get their high school to the church so yeah it's very exciting that it's got to do and help thank you ever that is really really good three you're welcome my my kids so thank you thank you that's crazy hi I'm so glad to hear that I so appreciate it thank you and folks remember this it is in we we think of this as stimulus and the goal is is to stimulate or not really stimulate but maintain the goodness that god has given us our economy in our country for the last three years the goal is to to maintain that I know that we use the word stimulus but it's a need it is America the first time ever in the history of the nation America has been so good gadis used this country truly as a shining light on the hill and we have always given to countries in need and it is the very first time that America and Americans have had to give to America and that's what this is it is eight and maybe this aid being distributed to you that doesn't need the aid that you can use it as an aid to someone else to your church to your to a ministry to a a food a food bank I know we have been here very conscious about our food bank because of the needs that they are going to be under I don't know but he vice is it been pretty stocked when she's gone in but that's going to change in another three weeks dramatically so you know things like that I mean there's plenty of things out there that you can redistribute the eight it's not this is in a we're not getting in debt because we're trying to stimulate the economy because we have a president that doesn't know how to do that and we're coming up with gimmicks to try to do is nothing like that it's not the size that we have going through a financial crisis or an economic crisis this is a global but a national health the merging sea this is a pandemic something we've never experienced so redistribute the eight if you don't need it this is aid that is is going and that is coming yes from the government and yes are we are going to be liable for this at some point in time yes as a fiscal conservative am I concerned I certainly am but also I know the options to not doing it and it's not good so it is aid redistribute the eight so that's that's probably the easiest way the best way to handle that but wow what a great job what a great point I appreciate her way in a way you know that all right before we go to calls again we got something in the falls under the category of you got to be kidding me so if there was ever a category I should have a category like you got to be kidding me categories should really have that wall this falls under that category Sam case is going to her tell us what it is go ahead Sam yeah you're you're definitely right about that Dan is so China has been appointed to a panel on the U. N. human rights council now this is kind of a story and kind of not because the U. N. has had a long history of appointing human rights abuser to the after mentioned human rights council China has served before so that's not new and in the past that had countries like Cuba Saudi Arabia Russia currently Venezuela has a seat hello on the wire I think I'm saying his name right he is the executive director of the non governmental human rights organization you and watch he was appalled by this saying allowing China's oppressive and inhumane regime to choose the world investigators on freedom of speech arbitrary detention and enforced disappearances is like making a pyromaniac into the town of fire chief so that's no uncertain terms of condemnation so I mean I haven't seen anything and from the United States besides some senators and GOP senators condemning this saying we must expect more from the U. N.'s leaders and the members from the members of it states but the president hasn't really said anything about this I know the president and the administration isn't a big fan of the U. N. you remember back in twenty eighteen the U. S. left the council because appointments like **** countries like China and Cuba and Venezuela and what they described as a chronic bias against Israel and currently trump is threatening to freeze funding to the WHL arm of the U. N. because of being too China centric is he says and there are botching of the covert nineteen pandemic as he would to say well that is just I mean that is just comical and may be seen I mean you know the idea that the if someone would condemn the leadership of the year when what leadership are they told what leadership the U. N.'s leadership has been prophetic for so long now I can guarantee of Nikki Haley were still sitting in the U. N. we'll be hearing about this but it is it is absolutely pathetic that they would this is this is worse because it's human rights this is way worse but the second the only thing I can think more ridiculous than this was the IMF allowing China's currency that nobody wants by the way or will take as a reserve currency in the world I mean you know it I I don't know how many millions of dollars that changed hands in that deal but that's that's the only thing that they're trying to you because it's only that that isn't quite as bad as this because it doesn't involve human rights I mean it is just ridiculous to you and you know talk about we yes we should D. fund or cut funding to the World Health Organization whip I mean that is another word if it wasn't for America there wouldn't be a World Health Organization because of a funny with him so that already cut by you when can we can we can we please tell them to a very can we affect them out of our building in New York City tell me go somewhere else that's all we need to do same case in our newsroom thank.

"It's unbelievable. It's a highlight of the mental health not problem but epidemic we have in the state of Florida in the United States of America and likely beyond that puts you see this eighteen year old kid on of you saw the any of the details on this this morning ceiling, but this is absolutely nuts. It's an eighteen year old Orange County man, and he killed his mom. No reason. No reasonable all. Didn't like have a, you know, a beef with his mother going on didn't have any kind of pent up aggression. He said he'd been fantasizing about committing murder. Ed just stabbed his mother to death unprovoked on Wednesday night. It's got Michael Kim confessed to the whole thing is mom was sixty five years old air in right near Winter Park. And he explained the murdering of his mother was unprovoked. There was no conflict leading up to the actual murder. He was one of these kids you see his face. And you look at the mug shot, and you go God. I mean, there is like, you know, when you see somebody's mug shot, and you could just read further into it any goes that person has problems just from the picture that you're looking at you could tell that. I'm looking it up. That's how it is. With us. Michael Kinkaid, I'm telling you you look at them. And and they've cuffed him after he's killed a sixty five year old mom here, and you go Jesus there's something you can tell just by looking at them something wrong. He further explained fantasizes committing murder in the past. But only acted on it today. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. These these people you look at it, and you go there's there has been a mental issue here. Some people just want to kill. I know. That's a weird sentence. So weird thing to say, it's the truth. Some people just want to kill. We always want to know why we're human beings. Right. Most of us could try halfway good people all say for myself in a halfway goods as best as I can guarantee. That's fine. I'm not trying to get a lofty. Here's. Oh, wait, you know, when you have the people like this setting the bar for bad. Yeah. You know? I'm not that bad. It's true. I have this is what I'm being compared to. I'm not doing all that bad Michael kings, a hell of a lot worse. But there's some people that just want to kill. I mean, it's funny that you bring this up because I just spent last night a thin finishing. I don't think there's any more to the Ted Bundy tapes. Oh, yeah. That that was so bizarre because it brought back to life this old supposition about him. And they said, oh, he was so charming, and he was able to win people over and you go. Yeah. Maybe even in this day and age, apparently he was because they played those tapes back and you had women fawning over him all over again. Like, I don't know the Ted Bundy guy. I I think there are some people who thought he was still alive after watching this going I might make a visit to the jail. Good luck with that. I make my way over there. And try to fall in love with this guy. There's people who will fall in love with this year old that killed his mother to. It's it's really bizarre stuff. We have major problems, and I'm not here to tell you exactly how to fix this one the mental health epidemic in this country that has living around people who'd you sit there. And while we're thinking about doing better at life while we're. Thinking about bettering our wages or improving the products that we create now doing Pedder radio, whatever it is that we're up to their thinking about killing us. That's a strange thing to consider. Let's get to your dispatches from the news junkie up. Hopefully, a little less spooky over in the dispatch section of life. And we'll check in with chase. Here's chase with a dispatch..

Now this round we're gonna start with Randy DJ, though, should and then and then the troops have three two. And then Tron. All right. So we we're going to do this stump the Schwab style. So we're going to go around in a circle, and there's twenty people that are on this list. We're going to go through the top twenty on the PGA tour money list. Now, if you have to name one, and if you don't get one of the top twenty you're done, and it goes down to two people now. Okay. It the further down the list, you name guy, the more points. It's worth. So if you name anybody in the top five, it's one point name anybody in the next five it's two then three then four. Okay. You've put a lot of thought of this.
