"The cart cowboys will end where we started. So what is your read on the players basically come calling out the coaching staff and is that fair foul like from your perspective? Do you think Mike McCarthy's in trouble? Do you think it's fair that the players are saying hey, this system doesn't really work for us this defenses in working, where do you land on that? Obviously we don't know the of what transpired prior to that getting out you know what of these guys have gone to and I know, I, do know I know some of it. I know some of these guys have gone to coaches and try to make these. Situations better by talking to him and they got rid of some people that we're talking that we're talking about the issues that were going on on the football team. So so so so now you can get people saying well as out of bounds for these guys that go to the media not if they've exhausted all other means and I know Mike McCarthy is out at sea I've opened our policy, our your door can be opened. And you're GonNa let people come in is spit words but did you really listen and did you adjust anything? So having an open door policy is not enough you gotta have an open door open ear and a open mind open heart to really make hay on those things and say, okay, listen I'm willing to listen and then you argue about a we talked about people leaking into the press by stopping. This this is part of business it's been going on forever. We have insiders because people get information that nobody else supposed to have. That's why we pay them. So they get information and you guys are leaking stuff from inside. So stop talking about the process what happened it's all about the process of how to fish what happened and then you'll be on the right and yeah, that's a good point. Those are really good points. Well, what do you think they do to to follow up on that real quick? Are they going to try to stick with Andy Dalton after seeing what they've seen from them? Are they going to go to TO NEWTON GUCCI? Domenici are they going to? To bring somebody else will be stealing that by the go. Amy Let's see I will. I will steal that. I think they're going they're they'll have to if he saving his protocol, they'll. They'll go back with with Andy Dawn I mean. That's why they brought him in. You want me to say anything about that guy that keep walking by the camera I mean I can. Not. sadie. Was Right now. We just can't keep well the by without we say he's got a very small bladder you need. Seconds. It would be you know considered a part of that I believe I destroyed my blind. Pursuit up for that you believe. Ask. You. And you'd be like I can't. I can't finish peeing because I know that might have to have some for later you would store. It? Doesn't affect me. That way is just right now. It used to be able to hold it and wait and wait and wait and I must have done something called now. Oh, my God and maybe when I got to go back to its look out. Away you. Put Your hands try to sweep down on it to make sure nothing and then you get in there and you let are to and it's everywhere. Did you know this Chris I didn't even know did not know this public now you had covert Mike you had comb my jaw rich and we'll see how this thing went to rich like why? Okay. When when I got? Yeah I I. Got Covert Right Guy like late June. When I got when I got home, I didn't know I had it and then I got real sick. I mean a pounding headache for like four or five days could eat can't sleep. He's gotTa endure pain I took to tests. They all came back negative. So I'm thinking okay, I'm good I'm good I don't have it I. Don't have but I'm feeling the pain and then after I went through about three weeks of hail about three weeks, I said, okay I'm going to go and antibody test because it had. To be something that had to be covert, there's no way I went to that kind of pain that Kinda Hill and nobody knows what it is because then I'm scared, it may come back. So so I took anybody chest and of course, the antibody test which I think is more accurate came back that I did that I got the antibodies so I can't leave this. It's severe like a Migraine and they have it all the time and will be the hardest thing in the world to live with 'cause I just went through it was the hardest thing in the world I ever dealt with. Okay. So now that you've had it okay and you know about it. Would you know is your son? Is your son playing football this fall I'm trying to catch up here on everything that's going on. Yes, he is. He is. He said you and it's interesting. You bring that up because I talked to a lot of guys you know they went back and forth right a lot of the players about all of that in in about Kobe we had the parent call right and they're doing such a great job of trying to keep everybody informed and everything and Yeah you know what is Michael's last year he's a graduate transfer. He's with coach Tag who just came from Florida state and he's getting opportunity to catch a lot of passes. So He's like Dad let's. Go over to not I. GOTTA play I'm ready to play you know regardless in a and I understood that this is an opportunity. So for him on his last opportunity and call it. So I understood it he said I'm taking the risk right and so play Fau was going to play that they've got. They've got the the okay to do it and you're you're fine with the protocol apparent. You've seen I mean this is as button subject is there is in sports right now is whether college is GonNa go? Right, and then you didn't you hear like a big ten trying to reconsider looking. Starting? October. Says I said at the top of the show or they're trying to pull an Omaha and part of the reason why Nebraska won't give up you know I mean Bahamas. Is. Totally. "To lay on this man's neck for nine minutes. It was almost. Everybody filming, he saw this man go limp and it was almost as if he's thinking. I'm going to get a poll for the locker room to put in my KKK meeting. The, he knew this was being taken, and you would not come off that man's neck. That's in same that is insane that you feel comfortable enough to openly do this murder on tape on film and fill a you know I just wanted to be no repercussions. He did he thinking there would be no repercussions, so we have to root out the problem above. Above. The officers not just officers you know. I started the Post that the last couple of times when I got stopped because I feel it all started to post it. You know I did pose the rich I called a friend of mine, and and and he's an African American and he's. A trooper here in Dallas and I was cutting nicer man. I think about posting. He said my images explained to you the way they can be first of all, he said you know you voted. The people see the officer and he's branded. Maybe he's branded a racist or something like that. When the reality is in that situation, he may not be. He was just answering the call to answer the call. That's his job. He has answered the call and that made me not post. It also think all okay, so the the issue rise deeper than that. The issue rides with the people that I. Even above them that we have to think the issue rise with the people that with ask. Because when we're all they go to court and you look at the list of officers have gotten off over the last ten years. I think even events that we've seen happening live. Get off on those cases. You know the jury pool. is coming from all of us, so we have to change the way we see. All of those things man I. I it's an insane undertaking that we have to start walking. Michael Irvin here on the show you know and. So now I know that when you come to Los Angeles and you drive to work you taking a step down from g again with the rentals that you're getting Michael and find. Out. I'm glad you. Don't take every. "Show this first time. He's been on since we've been on NBC ESN so to that audience that might have somehow just never watched us in our five plus years on the show or ever heard me talk about this guy. Michael Irvin was at my wedding. Because Suzy worked with him at Fox sports for so many years ran into him in New York City. Back in two thousand three asked him if he had a an electric blue Tuxedos. Why asked if he had a Tuxedo in town he said yes. Where can I show up? He showed up to the wedding wearing an electric blue Tuxedo. And then when my daughter was born now six years ago and she was born. God bless Susie. We induced to avoid the opening of the NFL season. This is a fact back in two thousand and thirteen so we had a baby naming on a Saturday right before football Sunday and the Rabbi. She says to us we have a sort of a speaker's role in my service anybody could speak to the group. Who Do you have and I said Michael Irvin and Suzy's just like a million percent with a stroke of genius the winter stroke of genius wrong so when I say I this man it's got more than just to do with the fact that I love working with him on? Nfl Network and looking at him on NFL game. They morning across the way and giving him so much grief cowboys as much as I love to. Michael Irvin how are you sir? They're barely hear you. But I did hear that law that you just talked fact my way and I appreciate it and I want to say hello to your NBC audience. Date never heard fine work. You do just stay tuned and they will be blessed Barich yes. It was a great moment rich to walk through Central Park. That's right search apart in an electric blue suit. That was soon after I retired so so through enemy territory beating up all giant all year and electric loose too. So that was. It was quite fun and it was great. All my friends were like saying me. So why was Michael Irvin in your wedding? What why would he? Why was he there? And I'm like that's my wife. That's part of the reason why I married her. Because he's just you never know you never know who susie knows. So and you're you you were. You were there for the most important day in my life so clearly. That's amazing then. You spoke with my baby naming my daughter's baby nine about the beauty of family in the importance of family which it's obviously time like now is is important messages ever it is written and let me let me share it with people because you know me being an African American and you know you made a spiritual man you Jewish guy and my last name. Urban people always call your team. Righty joked about that. But what I what? I don't people midst to cook so what I talked about in I love. I mean I and I got emotional talking about it because it's true. You know one of the things that I often talk. A- talk about wondering peppy's or fatherless-ness issues that we have in this country and I I tell people all the time. We're thirty percents Caucasian. American Fifty Percent Hispanic America's seventy three percent African American women having babies out of wedlock fathers. Not being on their post so at their talk about that at that setting a baby naming ceremony then later on in the Jewish Jewish community. You have a Missiles that these are moment that kids look back on in connect to who they are supposed to be baby naming ceremony. Everybody's there talk about what the name me ask Babe scope. I get so I won't upset 'CAUSE I don't African American people mad. I just feel that we can be more directed. We spend the same money we call it a baby shower sweet sixteen but it doesn't. How couldn't activity to the kids? Life is just a moment of spending money. What what what what. What Jewish community do we need to do in every community some things we need to steal from other people in? This is one that I hope advocate. Americans was still from the Jewish community. And believe it'll bring that number down from seventy three down down down which I think will make it all about a world. I'm sorry I know I just love your passion and your dedication but it's called sampling. It sent let. Let's not use stealing. It's okay to sample from the Jewish faith. That's fine that's no problem okay. Portions portions talking about Michael. Irvin here on the rich Eisen show. Let's get into the the cowboys of at all. The signing of Andy Dalton means what what does it mean? What do you think I'm sorry? Man Me got to save good money. I mean that that's what it mean. And they got a good backup. Because they only had cooper as the backup in and you get a veteran. Like dawn is a smart decision when you can do would for a base Ah Guarantee or three million. I note a report in up to seven million. But that's that's when you got a guarantee at three million you so many people to pay so getting into the dog as an insurance policy. That number is a good cripe but is not anything that I'm going to jump over moon about. You know what I mean. Jump Over the Moon is Oh my God we got into down but but but it is a good city is good. Situational Price For the cowboys in a backup for that but he is backup and please. Don't nobody getting it is talking about. This is the fourth that pain in any way of any kind of reflection on that. Because it's not that at all. This is that Chris Gust team but every team needs a of just thinking. So you're you're already hearing it and I saw two That that they're you know docks not going to Kabo this hour. I mean like he's we're we'RE GONNA WE'RE GONNA see him one way or another signing tender or long-term deal right. I hope so I thirty three. It's one thing if you're making three million dollars and you say you know what I'm going to sit out and wait on a long term deal. It's another thing when you've got that at three four million dollars staring at you you you can make cut three meals somewhere. You came make got thirty four nowhere. You see them seeing no so I I believe that whatever scenario he has planned out non will require and I don't think anyone have him leaving. Oh million dollars on the table. Thirty four million million. He was a fourth round draft. Pick who made two million dollars last year. No he'll be on that football field. It's just a matter of when they get him on the football field and how long they have them on the football field but we will get that Prescott on the football field. He's a smart man. He's not GonNa let Michael Irvin here on. The Rich Eisen show looks like Dak or Dalton. If should he get in the game? It's going to have an eighty eight to throw to Earth Walk me through lamb getting this number on your thoughts on the subject so interesting. You know 'cause you know I I like to reach out to young guys that are coming Fishermen wide receivers And and not to see lambs had issues a Jew ish but especially if they had an issue. 'cause you know in in college anything. I wanted just reach out and let them know. Hey I use me as a resource in any way. Certainly my track record Hadn't been spot list so you know when you want to. If you have some setbacks you WanNa talk to me about trying to come back from that set-back I'm here. I and I reached out to and he talk. Julian almost got I have. I did not reach out to CD. Lamb I was about to but he called me and he called me talking about the Ada you know he was saying Michael. You know talking about eighty you know I know I said I wanNA wear number ten and he said I wanna I wanNA wear number ten I. I'm seeing that out of honor for you and respect for all you've done you made eighty eight. You've earned the right to have that as your number. He says you know. I I WANNA go in car up my own. I said that's great man. I whatever makes you get up in the morning and attacked the day to copious winter. That's what you do you know for me. When Eighty eight Igor Comfort more and still drew Pearson. I told the first guy to interview when I got the Dallas. He takes all time leading receiver. I'd say yes he said. Okay I I know I say I know what better be when by the time my career why they drafted me. That's why they drafted me. So I I I did that. I made that mark every morning. I woke up rich eight thought about Drew Pearson. Every time walk in a stadium I looked at the guys in the ring of honor and said I would not disrespect you today. You know so so for him if eight eight was to pull something out of him. That's great. He said he wanted to wear the number ten. I'd say that's Great. If that's what I WANNA make my own mark that's great. Whatever pool is your hair out but I want him up this before I let them. Oh that fall I let you this? I said they made you about this whole about wearing eight eight called Jerry Jones very persuasive. About what you said. He's GonNa tear you all kinds of story but he's going to try to get you to see it his way so when I heard he was going to wear eight Aretha Act. I told them I said. Hey Hey did I tell you? He was persuasive. Or what you know so we were laughing about that. I'll let him tell everybody. Whatever he's dealing with Jerry but I love it I absolutely love it and and the way you have to be born that needs drafted or signed by the cowboys. Only cowboy gray hit as a cowboy. Play a born here. I'll bread here and I bawled here and he will meet all those criteria that was the receiver in the draft and the best pickup Dallas. Because of what he does in the positions he can play. He gets paid a slot and outside and right now. Dallas has no production from the slot on the spot on the roster right now. Because that's going to Houston Texas Rambo. Call so I mean when it all comes down to it though it does appear. That aid is now going to be a number that is given out to somebody that that I guess Jerry Jones feels special. I mean you know And you're the one You know obviously others did wear it but from Pearson to you today when Tony. O'brien added a couple years. Obviously After you but You know this is. This is what it's turned into As opposed to just being set aside you. You're fine with that right now. I'm just I I know the answer to it. I know the answer to I. I know others might not when they hear about this. Let me tell them why. Okay with me tell them why. And I don't know why I seem to be the only person to see it this way when they retire your number and they put that number in. They don't look that they don't they don't look they. Don't talk about that number onto you. Lead time and go to a tiny a for during the middle of the game as well. We Lost Mike Oregon today and showed a number. I saw four family. Let's get back to the game. Three seconds left you hanging up. But when they put it on a receivers back where at the time he makes a play on Sunday they said Oh look Michael Irvin if he has a path is oh Michael. Irvin wouldn't the drop that you see what I'm seeing. I don't wait to gotTa Get my cloud. I get my row with Averitt. Nfl Sunday that you on the field. And I want my flowers while Michael. Irvin everybody here on the rich Eisen show. I knew that question would elicit an answer. That was worth asking the question. So let's talk about does why is he not playing right now? Can you give me an update on him? I constantly hit him with direct messages. Saying come on come on the show and let's talk But he's he's elusive. What's going on with him? Can YOU UPDATE IRV? Yeah yeah and that's a good work. You elusive talk about dance. But but I don't see that blows my mind and what I believe happened and I know I know some of it And I'll share a little bit here When I got released by the cowboys it was like divorce..

I i meant i'm like i just think he's the catalyst on their team. They need them badly. Michael irvin and <hes> barry sanders together for just a couple more minutes and embarrassing to finish up the hour <hes> <hes> just a solo here. <hes> you know i had marshall faulk on the show. You know marshall came in last thursday. Yeah i saw a billboard. They got it running. Your fault training ezekiel elliott yeah trying to make to make him puke is what he said. He said he couldn't and he lost beck with zeke is that he said trying to get him into into football shape but he he made eighty made the point that what zeke is asking for is potentially less than half of what they're going to pay deck annual and in the grand scheme of things but as jerry pointed out when they signed jacqueline smith there is less pot is what he said. There's now there is there is now less. That's the there is less. He's so good at that stuff man. His love was asked the poll question of these guys right here chris brockman before oh you say goodbye to irvine and hang out with barry sanders for to finish out the rest of the hour okay guys which is more likely this n._f._l. What can you tell me about zeke elliott right now now when we listen to me tell you something this trust me out here and i'm very i want to hear your thoughts on it because you know now. It's always everybody's keep saying dan. You know you can win with any running back or you can win with a number of running backs. I mean that that it runs me crazy that when you're at a top oh god when a twenty five other teams out here who had who's running back by committee. They wish they had an equally so now. You're bringing his talent down to the rest of the crew instead of telling the twenty five teams to go find your bare centers or zeke you ellie you you see it blows my mind when when people were doing that i mean these are unique dues man. I was there. I saw in it when it came in. I saw all the running backs me for him and and and we were going nowhere until we got out there. There are certain type do different dude. How do you see how do you feel about how they are treating right about now. Well zeke especial right special in me and you can see it in his production. You see it in the plays that he makes <hes> he has. He has a pretty good line and obviously as a as a quarterback <hes> every running back you can't make the <hes> the moves and and the yardage ezek makes you know even even <hes> not just running in the passing game <hes> uh-huh so zico special but now it's. It's a little bit offensive. You know the way you say it's been devalued right <hes> because when you're in a meeting room <hes> and you you you watching the games and you and you understand okay. This is what the players would play his called this responsibility. You know who like the real. Players are right and sometimes you know. Obviously the quarterbacks get a lot of the credit. Sometimes we'll deserve sometimes not <hes> you have a player like zeke and he makes it easy for everyone. <hes> the bottom line. He makes.

What if they're gonna put you no matter what if they're going to stay by no matter what what the priority that become with it because you don't have to worry about losing Dallas cowboy fans do not hold Dallas Cowboys accountable. "Covered in. We'll get to those in just a moment. There's already dispatches and talk about the dispatches and all of it through the news junkie app. That's headed your way in just a second. But obviously last night was big day footballs. Football action going on you bet. Your ass was almost every day. This week is a lot of football happening. I mean, I know I know don't send me all the dispatches and tax. So it's a couple of days. It's like no Monday Sunday Thursday Thursday, those days days for sure and Tuesday football. Remember a couple of days and football comes on and everybody gets in gear and joys themselves and hopefully their team wins in your fantasy team rises to the top. But there was a moment that got real awkward during the game show on the NFL network. Now, I didn't see this live, obviously. But afterwards, I saw the clip of. And I was like, oh, I don't know if this is fake or not like maybe this is just a bit between the two of them. But I guess you got. Michael Irvin and Steve Smith, and they're they're not supposedly the biggest fans of one another like, they don't like each other so much why not put them on a show together. So they throw digs at each other. Time and it ends up being what are these? Oh, yeah. Well, I got this ready Super Bowl rigs. Yeah. Well, what about this? There was a moment in the show where there was one of the guys standing up, and he said why because I'm hurting and that just descended into them slamming each other making fun of each other. There was a couple of good lines in there. But it definitely got awkward. Bad.

"Does he pose some silly stuff on social media? I guess the thing is lanes if he wants to see more of a personality. Is really hard to say because when you when you talk about teddy and you're talking about Woody and you're talking about a Matt light is that they got drafted there. So that's kind of like all they know it was probably a lot harder for someone to go somewhere else and then go and ingratiate themselves in that situation because you get coach a certain way and then you go, there is totally opposite. What helped me was I came in under and Reeves. He was. He learned under Tom Landry. I Dan very well. Oh, watch up close. Yeah. So Dan's about as those schools you get, and I would say that wouldn't be real fun to play for him real. It would hard. It was hard, but when we got when Wade came in, we lost the first round and lobster wildcard around ninety three way. Didn't think we were toughing wait, Phil, wait Bill. So we had eight straight days two days, padded practices, sixteen total practice. But for me, I had Dan, so we practice pads every single day. Yeah, so it was nothing to me, but for someone that came from another place, they like, what the hell going on. You gotta get Nicole tub and getting ready to go again tomorrow. That's what's going on. I want to know how much fun most teams in the NFL have in the end, how much fun is it to play in the NFL? It's hard. Man. I'm watching hard knocks with the Cleveland Browns those those camp practices. That's hard man appeared. If you've got your shea shot, he'll made up. Ain't gonna make it real. I'll bet there some camp practices. We, you're no fun. Yeah, man, I gotta get a couple of jokes you, but I gotta keep it like two hours to fifteen minutes is one hundred degrees. You got an all that stuff. I gotta keep it life. Give balloon my mind. So it's going to come across that. I'm trying to kill the messenger just like I used. Michael Irvin messenger, but look, how much fun was lane Johnson having before last year. Because twice before he got suspended for PD us. Once for four games and once for ten games. What does that indicate to you? That indicates desperation that indicates fighting for survival in the National Football League that does not indicate. Having fun last que OT own. I'm just saying I'm putting this in the context of was he having fun until this past year? Was he. Answer my no. Fun fun. He was doing what every player in the league is doing its desperation. It's doing by any means possible. I'm going to survive death. Overkills on, yeah, you you kill. Hammer did not. I'm just stating a fact, and those are two big facts that contributes to on the field performance. So he was so desperate to keep his job to survive in the National Football League. He twice resorted to PD not once once. Okay. What happened coming from? Where's it coming from? Jedi, lay Johnson said the patriots are robotic. And if you go on saying, I'd rather have fun and win one Super Bowl. I'm asking you again, how much fun was he having how many years you've got drafted in twenty thirteen. So that's that's like, what? Five years in there? Why you wouldn't have any fun? Yes. Death. Why you done that now you don't LeBron James when he when he dug up about Charles Barkley kill them, you don't te'o and you just did the same thing. I mean, the context of were you having fun? Nope, he was not having. So what happened last year, the magic carpet ride happen, the planets aligned..

"Remember I covered Michael Irvin's Cowboys dis teams that should have won four straight, Super Bowls, maybe even five or six. If Jimmy Johnson had stayed the course, which was probably impossible at that point, but still at least they should have won four in a row, and I covered taros San Francisco forty Niners for a couple of years. And you know how that ended in very badly for me. Terrel Owens is the flip side of Michael Irvin you he is far from Michael as you can get as of football player. Michael Irvin is I've told you before, and I'm a big fan because I watched it up close and personal. He was the driving force of those teams that should have won four straight, Super Bowls. He was the leader of those teams on the field. In the weight room in the locker room on the sideline anywhere you wanna go. He was the leader. He set the tone in practice and in the weight room right now after special after they won as Jimmy and Barry Switzer sort of preached, you win the game. I then you can go win the party. That's okay. And Michael won a whole lot of party, right? And he had drug problems and issues and womanizing and nightlife thing, and you name it. All of the above. Michael Irvin was the LT of receivers as in Lawrence Taylor. And you know, Lawrence's background is he not the leader and driving giants and off the field? He was pretty much close to a disaster, but like Michael, Lawrence Taylor when it was time to perform on the football field. All of the off the field did not mattering did not affect his ability to perform when it was time to practice Michael practiced. Now did he come every once in a while a little hung over. Maybe Saturday camp practice sometimes and Dr. Troy Aikman a little crazy. Yes, it would. But the leader of those teams trust me on this was not Troy was not. It was not. Charles Haley was not Darren Woodson. It was Michael Irvin they followed him. He was the one they wanted in their foxhole at giants at Redskins at eagles. He was known as the playmaker for reason, he's made plays, man. You throw it in his direction on third nine, he's going to snatch it. He's gonna come away with might push off Imai. My space. He was very physical, but I told you in that NFC championship game when they fell behind twenty one, nothing at candlestick at San Francisco, Michael Irvin head Dion on him, man to man. The rest of the game. It was the greatest mono. Amano struggle between the greatest defensive back ever and in my mind, the greatest receiver ever that you will ever see and Michael often got the best of Dion Sanders. That's why Michael Demy is in another league from Terrel. He's just in as as a leader as as a. As a force on the football field in the locker room. He's the flip side of everything. Terrel was I called him team obliterated for reason because he was a solo act. Terrel was was he didn't use drugs. I don't even think he drank alcohol that I know of. So he's clean is whistle off the field, but he was addicted to fame. He was addicted to spotlight and he was a solo act and he again, I don't want to dwell on this, but he tore apart in my view three-team San Francisco, Philadelphia, Dallas, and in the end, he's even tearing apart or splitting the greatest team ever symbol the pro football hall of fame team. And you just told me the luncheon degenerates into a split of, yes, unfor- some reforms, some are against him and all of a sudden that's how the locker rooms became only covered the one. But I heard for a lot of people in the other two locker rooms that it was split into Tara's point of view. It would be like a fifty fifty split. He had that that that magnetism about him that could just split it right down the middle. Some players say, I believe in you. I love you. I wanna stay with. I want to hang with you off the field because he's fun to be around and is not that he wouldn't throw a party, right? You have big parties. He just wasn't a drug user thing that Thiel was take was taking a fence of the hall of fame members trying to tell him how he should feel in how e- should experience his moment his moment..

"Yeah, I could be totally wrong, but how we got here, skip that Teo felt that Michael betrayed his trust because we're having private textual conversation and you show it on national television. Exactly what I'm saying at least clear Agra. Do you mind if I share this skip eve this morning when you're not, he's like, okay, you hear about this thing and like, okay, I call, I'll put a Texan Matteo as teal. We're going to discuss what transpired yesterday with the tweet and you and Michael Irvin do you mind if I mentioned what got this point? He hit me back immediately, so that's why I'm talking about be I feel comfortable saying, because the things get is different your report. If you do an interview, you talking to a guy, you feel everything he's telling you. On the record. I'm and if it's off the record is off right? And I have ethics that I'm going to stand by, and I have character and I have reputation, go ahead. When you have in private textile conversation, you assume that's off the record. I don't need that goes without saying, you say, can I use right, right. Thiel said, if Mike had come to me and say, -til, you mind if I share from this. Okay. I can say gay, but when you just go without my permission and here I am going back and forth and you showing what I'm saying. I got a problem with that. So that's why Teo went to the most hurtful thing because he felt might hurt him in such a way. So now you hurt me. I gotta find something that can hurt you back, but this was out of bounds. Even just even for this very reason. We're all go jackets, no matter what you think te'o. He's a member. He can't be cut. He can't be traded. So. You can't te'o moving forward, please don't do this. Gotcha. Question may not have the answer to because I don't remember Michael used on NF NFL network. What was the tax that he used? Are you sure it wasn't a taxed from Terrel defending his reasons for not. I think it was a tank. They defending hill. It wasn't something negative about Terrel. It's not something that he exposed Tara for saying. I think it was actually benefit to Terrel to use the tax because Michael sang will. Here's what he says in his own words. This is why I'm not going, but I think the thing if for for for, oh, was that Michael didn't get clearance? He talk often it ride, right? I'm talking to you and confidentiality, but it's one thing to betray that it's another thing to to betray him with a negative tax like something I didn't want that out there, but. I think I could be wrong about this because I don't know. I wasn't watching at that point, but I will bet that the texts that Michael used was favorable to terrorist position. Does that sound right? Well, he said it was favorable, but Michael with Michael couldn't get couldn't get his head. Why wouldn't you want to embrace this moment in teals is not for you to understand Michael definitely was critical. Yes, very critical. Just in the van of you should be here. You should embrace this. You should enjoy this. You should reap the rewards of what you earned on the field. And it took Michael by the way, three times to get in the pro football fast. And some of that probably had to do with field drug use, yes, with womanizing was partying all the above. Okay. So by the way, my big picture takeaway on this Terrel really knows how to keep himself relevant because still in the news man, he, he's, he's really int he is brilliant self from ODI respon-. Of this out to the facts. Lee waited until he needed a bliss. Anyway, that's beside the point. I'm going to give you my take in my IRA ni in all of the above..

"michael irvin" Discussed on GSMC Sports Podcast
"Hall of fame saga te'o or michael irvin says that teo should pretty much just over it and should make it about himself all right let me see if i could find his exact comments okay i mean i guess my urban whole basis on his comments was basically that to's kind of taken away from these other hall of famers all right i don't there's different ways to look at this okay but basically michael irvin says we can't spend this moment for all these other guys talking about the guy that is not here okay then he says you cannot do that and take that away he's doing his own thing wherever he's doing his own thing and god bless them and when they mentioned the class they'll mentioned him but why should you still those other guys moment because of the decision of this one okay let's see he says i think it's the right move they're not saying he's not going to have a bust in the room they're not saying he's not getting jacket they're saying we're honoring his wish he doesn't want to be here with us we're going to mention him as little as possible i think it's the right move okay it's easy to put the blame on either te'o and it's easy to put the blame on the hall of fame me i put more of the blame on the hall of fame because we could have avoided a situation if they would have just bought them in the first year okay but nonetheless it seems that teo let me see if i could pull up to ios tweets all right because he's been talking about it because i mean people have been going on as far as his decision okay see skip palin chimed in kit bela's tweeted told you terrell owens the most divisive team i have covered manage alienate the greatest teammates he ever could could ever had pro football hall of famers knows apprise your team obliterated solo act not happy unless he's unhappy that see what else we got going on gigi dick vitale chimed in on it that's one of the few that you didn't really expect but nonetheless at sea by towel says change your mind and receive your in honor at the nfl hall of fame don't be challenges what a message to young people if you don't let's see if you don't get what you want say hell with it supposedly he's upset that he wasn't a first ballot pick this is the whole fame's fall okay te'o we know like okay let's let's let's cut it a bit here in let's realize that the hall of fame didn't vote te'o in the first time because they didn't think he was where they didn't vote a because they were trying to send a message okay they had nothing to do about his ability all right this was a message being sent to rowan's all right and if you wanna play that game you can't get angry went through our loans try to play it back ok you simply can't we all know at least from what terrell owens showed us as we've watched them over his career what type of player we perceive him to be a person okay we don't actually know what kind of person through our loans this we only know what the media shown us what he's allowed us to see okay obviously over his career teams yeah he's been a divisive more of a meager okay so maybe for the hall of fame and you see that maybe just think of it that's all they need to do is just think okay if we don't vote te'o in the first two years how is he going to react to this and what kind of drama is this going to cost okay i'd say that yo is kind of being a diva by say the hall of fame is being more diva here all right believe it or not let stuff to do when you're dealing with terrell owens okay but when you want to send a message to this guy this terrell owens he's always going to send a message back in the hall of fame should have been ready for it okay i don't put his onto yo like i said from what he showed us apprehensive this is what he does okay if you feel slighted he's gonna go back at you and i have no problem with all right i don't blame terrell owens at all i side with in this whole situation okay if you didn't want to take away from the hall of famers in this.
Michael Irvin agrees with Pro Football Hall of Fame not acknowledging Terrell Owens during enshrinement weekend
"Talk about him as if he's not even they're doing the right thing we can't spend just the moment for all these other guys talking about the guy is not here you cannot do that take am deals doing his own thing wherever he's doing his own thing and god bless them but i knew when they mentioned it as a class but why should you still those other guys moment think about the numbers from terrell owens jc we're talking about he ranks eighth all time receptions second in receiving yards third in receiving touchdowns one hundred fifty three planning for all these franchises the forty niners philadelphian dallas buffalo in cincinnati fifteen year career in the hall of fame with so many greats in the same hall of fame classes bryner lacquer and randy moss and ray lewis but yet he's wants to do his own thing but he's the only one and that's the thing that's just so bothersome to me like you so that's what you want to be known for if you're used to be known as a great wide receiver that was accepting the yellow jacket at the places having a male to you yeah spot on it look michael irvin this is part of the chorus fry the approach that i thought mike lurvin the great wide receiver at a dallas thought this position he'd take you remember his speech was back ten years ago just over ten years ago when he was inducted i believe it was two thousand seven as passionate as michael irvin was and you could tell appreciated the depth the gravity of the honor so this is a guy that feels like this is something that's so monumental not only should you should you appear but you should be overly gracious terrell at designer which is absolutely what owens is not but again this is who terrell owens is this is how hope remembered in his final chapter of spotlight and this is the way it should go but yeah to those guys at that class that you mentioned why should the hall of fame draw more spotlight and attention to this disc coming for teo i think the proper move for the hall of fame is to say he's part of the class mentioned his name and keep it.
Former Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant upset at how he was cut
"Twenty minutes after the hour pro football talk live dez bryant still looking for his next nfl destination michael irvin the cowboys hall of famer said something about this yesterday about the garrett guys and that he's talked to desert about the garrett guys and desert complained about the garrett guys in the past that was the phrase that dez bryant used friday when speaking to nfl network about why he thinks he got cut the jason garrett guys on the team the guys wearing a c on their jersey didn't like him and wanted him out look i think that that's just human nature anytime something happens that we personally don't want to happen it's hard for us to say it's because of something i did it's it's human nature to say somebody else was out to get me somebody else was wrong i did everything i was supposed to do somebody else set me up to fail so i don't know how much stock i put in that i mean the bottom line is chris the guys upset and he's looking for a way to get back at the cowboys and one way he's going to try to get back with the cowboys he told one zero five three the fan in dallas he wants to play for the new york giants and i'm sure he's attracted to the giants because they play the cowboys twice a year they're high profile games they're competing directly with the cowboys they can keep the cowboys out of the playoffs and dez bryant has himself convinced that he can go there and not be the guy he would clearly be supporting player in new york and he seems like he's okay with it i don't know if he'll be okay with it weakened and week out but for now i think his emotion is driving him to say he wants to play for the giants even if the giants may not want him.
