"Through that yeah that county is the west county the United States in a in California there's fifty a challenge that the still allows Pouncey issue which is the animals go from the panel to research facilities so they're they're not a shiny bright as they got they got a really dark history and they continue to have it and we've eliminated and stop in fifty seven counties it's the only county in California where the questions UC Davis and and I've and I've been in that primary absolutely place many years ago as well as many other primates facility places and it's pretty horrendous and with the fact that these animals don't have any so social interaction with one another or they don't have any any toys or anything to play with sometimes I got an old TV that's on and there and that's about it that's this social enjoyment no no he said he just distillate speaking apps absolutely accurate about it and it said it said that you know you and I I commend him for not taking it any further and becoming a business sector and getting away from the obviously it's something that bothers them enough to make this call and we need more people like that we really had more people like that as a publicly funded university UC Davis publicly funded research on these animals out wildcard line Laura in New York hi Laura hi thank you for taking my call Krista just wanted to thank you for the work that you do very very much like thank you thank you Chris great work I've been eating the way you do for forty four years now I also do animal rescue the last thirty years and I just you probably know everything I'm going to say but I just want to address it to the audience with the audience know there are anti business vivisection societies that people could donate to they're doing a lot of work to take the monkeys and Jim side of the lab and also I want people to know that the flock rock industry is really horrendous also and also the lobster industry really horrendous the harm that gets done to do the animals of will to live and to let people know to have a little bit more consciousness about the choices they make about what they eat and then also for health reasons what's becoming really popular is the paleo diet in the keto diet and that's all about eating meat meat meat and it's just all really disgusting and disorder have lower thank you for the call we're running out of time so I thank you for that I'm gonna get let Chris comment on that the diet part for example well if you're if you're definitely right and he will we're learning now that the obesity which killed people in this country is out of control I mean is there any difference statistics anyway if I hear from fifty eight to nineteen percent she's going to be bad or beach and that's that's disgusting at one polling in now now the the kid in the class that's then there is the one that stands out and then it if he's athletically stand where is one kind of who's the kids in the schools that was overweight that was it now is the norm it's the norm and it's dangerous since its its own hell so this is why these new different kind of hours alternative leach said a common now the way to go which doesn't have the hormones and then it doesn't have the antibiotics it's still cool for the kids get a watch you can still go to watch what how much you eat the question still will mail on a comfort food well you see it but it's far better than eating meat and of any kind of products and injected with hormones and this is why the young girls of developing faster and than they normally would have back in the time when I was a kid so it's all with the putting into the animals and it's concentrated and then we take this from feet to the kids at luncheon schools with setting up these kids to be calm big dollars signs for the biomedical research community and for that but we do is we should have the form the industry because they're gonna be you'll be staying on the fact that the tide is going to change on that people become aware of it finally finally becoming aware of it take action I thank you for your work I thank you for being here if you get arrested or if you get hit with one of these the gag laws and need some help I hope you'll come back here in your face the name of the book thanks for joining us thanks also to my earlier guests Tom Dongo handed to my colleagues there close to coast Michael Colosio Donna.

"The end with George based on the reaction from my guy Michael Colosio this song is a little more obscure than I thought it was that sneaky sound system I saw you up and nobody believed me and that's the way it's been for a long time is it you know people see things with their own eyes but they either don't speak up or when they do nobody believed him and that's not accidental I mean there was a program an active program proposed a debunking UFO cases you know you got it it's worked I think to an extent in this next segment I might ask historian Richard your Richard Dolan about the media treatment of your foes including New York times which came out with this story two years ago this week but has been pretty hostile to the subject matter over the years you know at like Richard I I got hooked on the subject because of the paper trail there were documents that were passed back and forth between different government officials military officials during the years when the freedom of information act didn't exist and in those documents these high ranking military folks were very candid about what had been seen and what their reaction was and they didn't know what the heck they were dealing with that's what got me hooked it helped get richer Dolan hawked and in a moment when the talk about that paper trail a bit and where it might lead in twenty twenty we'll be right back with more coast to coast AM there are a lot of scary things in the world but one of the scariest is wondering what happens to them in.

"My house is for sale and my wife and I and a daughter we had to move into a rental property and basically for two years I transcribed tapes and who is not a fun time for me but we got through it life is good you wrote wrote a book but it is a novel it's not a it's not a non fiction book right what is it about what's it about about your under cover years or what is it actually in that surprisingly and I don't know where I got this idea of the protagonists in the novels is he's a retired FBI agent that happens to be the head of security at large Las Vegas because I want him up with that and up to date he and his wife have a ranch in rural Nevada yeah total weekend get away place which we do and so the stories about that and actually it's a you know the book so it's pretty well in all over in the UK and Canada Australia what's the name and but I think George but I realize you know what happened is I really didn't think I'd be able to get this thing published so I did and at the conclusion of this novel I want to give away the whole thing but I end up dead end up what is problematic I'm doing pretty well now what was the name of the book the book is called pigeon spring like a bird pitch in spring all right well I hope people check that out yeah you you know the mob you hear this this cliche and I'm sure you've heard it a thousand times at work I interviewed you at the mob museum a couple months ago and that's right and it sure gets kicked around there that the town was better Las Vegas was better when the mob ran it in a course you know for somebody law enforcement that's like fingernails on a blackboard yeah absolutely you know obviously I don't subscribe to that you know based on on the it's a it's it's a common theme that that you hear often but you know what I one of the lessons I did learn from dealing with the mafia for years is that the only care about one thing they don't care about the city of Las Vegas they don't care about the people in Las Vegas they care about one thing and that's making a box whatever it takes to make it they're going to do it and so that's what it's all about it's about money it was about greed it's not about policing the community and all that stuff I know that the folks like to say that it's a medic for fairy tale in my opinion you know the you mentioned that your adventure in Las Vegas started as a political corruption you're targeting political corruption and it's hard to believe there is any of that here but but I wanted to say that the case that you worked on that the US attorney chose not to prosecute came full circle we're not gonna have time to get into the whole thing but it was a story that I end up working on with your help well I let me cut to the chase on the Georgia needs you you're absolutely dynamic on that you know this thing festered with me for years and deceptive one point you know I thought you know what I'm going to reach out to somebody to resolve this because the person that was targeted on this thing was favored in the polls to run is the mayor he was a mix going to be an American north Las Vegas it was going to win and he was totally corrupt totally corrupt and so I met with you and you took them all in use of expose lightly done and you expose the guy for what it was in the upshot is he didn't win he lost the case so it's Phyllis elastomers race which is great and I thank you for that you did a great job well it was a great story and it was just handed to me though so arm I I appreciate you being here share these stories I I wondered are you do you have the F. B. I. colleagues here do you guys get together and chew the fat and what we do yeah we have a retired agents meeting we do once a month and it's great to you know see folks and talk to him usually head of the FBI office shows up in the we hear about what's going on the payroll and so forth so yeah we do well this remains a target rich environment so maybe I'll get me invited I'll I'll leave a note book I will bring a recorder George I think it's a great I really do all up bring it up to the chairman and I think that love to have you especially because of the contributions you made with some of the uncovering these corruption issues in the Las Vegas would love to hear from you soon thanks her my appreciated Humm Grohman pigeon spring is the name of the buckle people check it out thanks your George all right and now thanks to Ryan burns my earlier gassed and to my colleagues there a coast to coast Michael Colosio Donna Walker John Lotto store then go on a quest for us I'm George Knapp will be back tomorrow night good night I'd been sick for a really long time I had a constant fever for probably six months straight Britney current saw more doctors to treat her urinary tract infection nothing more I have four little boys we high we run we mountain bike we do all the things that I found the boys would love to do I need to be able to keep up with them Britney was referred to a marine urologist who is an expert in robotic surgery when I need a.
