"The threat of political violence after an election has never been higher in modern American history. Jones says the seventy-nine days between Election Day and Inauguration Day on January twentieth twenty, twenty one or the most worrisome he says and the highest. For violence will come in the form of protests and gatherings about the election results people from all sides are coming to these protests armed. Police. In cities that have weathered months of protests are talking about what to do if the violence ratchets up after election day, particularly if the results are unclear close or contested on and after November third. The nation's military leaders are worried about being dragged into a post-election dispute by a president who has repeatedly aired his willingness to deploy federal forces to maintain law and order. On August third, an organization called the Transition Integrity Project brought together a group of more than one hundred bipartisan experts for a tabletop exercise to simulate what might happen after election day. The stated goals were to see how far candidates might go to contest negative electoral outcomes. You're disrupt the normal transition process and how well would American institutions hold up if one or both candidates refused to play by the rules? The electoral wargame which took place in June had four scenarios a clear Biden. Victory a narrow Biden win and unresolved outcome similar to the two thousand presidential election and a clear trump victory. The results were Messi in all scenarios, the project members who included Michael Steele former chairman of the Republican National Committee and John. Podesta Chairman of Hillary Clinton's twenty sixteen campaign wrote the to the threats were lies about voter fraud and escalating violence. The potential for violent conflict is high particularly since trump encourages his supporters to take up arms they wrote. The most harmless scenario was a biden outright win in the electoral college and the popular vote though trump has since suggested he is. So convinced voter fraud will be rampant that he thinks the election results will go to the Supreme Court. Michael Caputo who worked on trump's twenty sixteen campaign took a leave of absence from his job. This month is public affairs adviser for the Department of Health and Human Services HHS. After he said, in a September thirteenth facebook live video that violence was coming. When Donald Trump refuses to down at the inauguration, the shooting will begin Caputo said, if you carry guns, Buy Ammunition Ladies and gentlemen because it's going to be hard to get the specter of using force and violence to keep office doesn't happen in a vacuum at a moment when the spread of conspiracy theories threatens to undermine the democratic process counter terrorism experts. Militia activity is on the rise and armed pro-trump Patriot groups have appeared at protests across the country including in Louisville Gettysburg in Portland on Wednesday news outlets, the Guardian and belling cut published online chat logs of the Patriot coalition of Oregon, a network of pro-trump pro police activists. The leaked chats show deliberate planning for violence against liberal demonstrators on the streets of Portland more than anything the chats catalog, the rapid radicalization.
Trump Again Scorns Science on Masks and Vaccines
"Out front tonight the breaking news president trump taking on his CDC director calling him confused and mistaken to issue central to stopping the spread of the virus masks and vaccines. Let's start with this trump. After Dr Robert Redfield head of the CDC said it would be up to eight year before a vaccine is available to the general public. I think he made a mistake when he said that it's just incorrect information. And I called him. And he didn't tell me that and I, think you've got the message maybe confused I saw the statement I called him I said, what did you mean by that? And I think he just made a mistake. To Call, you said that you told him that he made mistakes. What was his response? I said what happened and I got the impression that he didn't realize he said what he might have said I didn't see him say. Okay. Well, let's let you hear him say at here is Dr Redfield today under oath. I think there will be. Vaccine that initially be available sometime between November and December but very limited supply and we'll have to be prioritized if you're asking me, when is it going to be generally available to the American? Public? So we can begin to take advantage of vaccine to get back to our regular life I think we're probably looking at third. Late? Second Quarter? Third Quarter Twenty twenty. One Okay. That is sobering. Late second quarter third quarter. That's the end of the summer of the fall of next year is a year away and it is long after Election Day twenty twenty. That was his honest clear scientific assessment president didn't like it, and then the present continued to suggest that Dr Redfield got it wrong today when he said this. We have clear scientific evidence they work. And they are best defense. I might even go so far as to say that this facemask is more guaranteed to protect me against Ovid. Then when I take a co- vaccine. The irony that the President United States he keeps saying he wants vaccine by Election Day to help him actually has one in his hands and refuses to have his own supporters where I'm at his rallies. That is pretty incredible. But here's the president again publicly rebuking his CDC director. I called him about that. Those were the two things I discussed with him and I believe that if you ask him, he would. Probably. Say that he didn't understand the question because I said to my in the questions, the one question which we covered in the mass. When I called up. Robert Today I said to him what's with the mask? I think I answered that question incorrectly I think maybe misunderstood. That's absurd that he didn't misunderstand and it was very clear. What he said wasn't confused and by the way it's not just that he said it today right held it up and said that about the vaccines and that it's the most effective thing we have he's actually repeatedly said the same thing, the mass work it's not even the first time that he is compared their effectiveness to that of vaccines here he is in July so. We're not powerless. We don't have to wait for a vaccine although I think we're going to be successful. Sooner. Than many people think we have the most powerful weapon. And our hands right now I mean it's it's an enormously powerful weapon. It's just a simple. Flimsy Mask. Consistency well, the president's words are not things. The CDC director can ignore tonight right and just hope they go away. They are a direct assault on him and they are a direct assault on the widely proven science. Trump's HHS spokesperson. Michael Caputo is actually now in a leave of absence for the kind of talk that the president put out there. So cavalierly today trump though of course isn't going anywhere. It's not a little guy down the totem pole caputo and tonight the CDC director has been forced. To respond releasing a statement moments ago, saying quote I one hundred percent believe in the importance of vaccines and the importance in particular of Covid nineteen vaccine. A covid nineteen vaccine is the thing that will get Americans back to normal everyday life. The best defense we currently have against this virus, the important mitigation effects of wearing a mask, washing your hands, social distancing, and being careful about

"Michael your take on where the whole political arena goes in twenty twenty Joe Biden jumping in Bernie raising all this money in your instinct after going through all that you went through with. How do you think America will turn come twenty twenty Michael Caputo? I really think the president's going to be reelected, especially he'll be reelected strongly. If Democrats fall for his impeachment, a suicide trapper setting up, you know, Joe Biden is in for a real Tony White now because you know, the day of presidential campaign will be the first day because after that the other couple dozen candidates to give them we're gonna ripped him to shreds. This is gonna be entertaining for Republicans and awful Democrats watch in the end, I think the president to be reelected, and the Democrats will probably lose the house Michael Caputo with Piscopo in the morning. "This tonight on Hannity nine eastern on the Fox News channel. Yeah. It's kind of why did they all all the Democrats media saying, it's a manufactured crisis? But even Obama's homeland security secretary said no, this is real and as bad as pretty much as it's ever gotten a truly a crisis. Jessica. Well, maybe it's because you know, the former secretary Jay Johnson. I saw how this crisis interfered with their ability to get a big amnesty program through congress. And they understand that Americans are gonna lose patience and not be open to proposals. Like that. When they see that the border is out of control. I have to say, I don't I don't know. He Jay Johnson may recognize the crisis. But he didn't do a lot to to try to solve it while he was running DHS. But I think he under the point political problem. All right last word, Brendan Judd. Well, I can attest to that. I worked under Jay Johnson. I can tell you right now. He did nothing to help us the border. He was an open. Borders advocates. It was all about immigration reform and problems happen, but Sean, I can tell you there are some very smart people at the White House right now working on solutions. They don't need congress. What you're going to see is you're going to see border patrol agents. Start doing credible. Fear interviews, which will bend escalate the process. Get people. The process we're going to actually start deporting people this administration has been working tirelessly on it. And I'm not trying to be a cheerleader. I will call them to task. But they're working on it. And they will get it done. All right, guys. Thank you so much for being with us. We appreciate it. All right. So now Democrats. Yeah, they want a million more subpoenas. And anyway, they are literally trying to bring everybody back Michael Caputo. He's been a victim in all of this himself. And he's going to give us an insider's view. What's it like to be investigated? What's it like to be dragged into this mess? And now congress just on a witch hunt beyond witch hunts not solving a single American problem. No solutions for anything. We'll continue. "But first I wanna I wanna finish with the second part of playing last hour. The exchange on Anderson Cooper between Michael Caputo and Kirsten powers because that thing got a little feisty. And here's the second part of her kind of talking about how awful Caputo is because he doesn't believe Christine. Ford. Literally, I hope young men who sexually assault young women get their lives ruined. I mean, I'm not worried about that. Uncorroborated allegations for ratings. Can I tell you what I want know you? I'm gonna tell you something. I hope all sixteen Republicans watching tonight and all the independence get a chance to see the hearing tomorrow and the two hundred fifty whacked out crazy. People are going to stand up in scream the middle of it, and remember to vote in the midterm elections. Because if if the house goes blue, this is our life every single day in America and it's unacceptable you people have jumped the shark sailing. Here's the thing. This is an argument. Also, this being made that this is just like this is new one, the ratings thing, but the idea that people going around, you know, this is what Democrats do this is what the media does exactly. Except they didn't do it with Gorsuch who went to Georgetown prep. They didn't John. Me seriously. No, let me finish. They didn't do it with John Roberts. They didn't do it with Justice Alito. So explain to me that, like if you're going to claim that this is just what everybody does, it's not what everybody does. It's not even what people do. Somebody who went to high school. I can answer that question. If you wanna challenge. I can answer that question. You people think you're challenging Donald Trump when you do this and that's not what happened. What's happening here. Donald Trump is standing up for his appointee, but so is the entire Republican party. Today's press conference was Donald Trump. Ted talk to Republican Senate leaders teaching them how to put corners kind of sock because we are not gonna take this from you anymore. That's totally right. Donald Trump, right. Where publican party is on this and and good luck to bands. And I think the country is a lot more sexist and racist than some of us acknowledge, but but Michael, you could not be more bright that he was talking to the Republican party and the Republican party agrees with him. Overwhelmingly when he talks about women that way. Appreciate the discussion. Thank you, douchebag. Oh, and what has happened? Kirsten power. She's gotten so radical. Fox. Finished. I wish you would have said, are you done pumpkins. Man, that is. It's hard to it's hard to watch and it's hard to listen to. And I, I don't agree with Michael Caputo, a lot of things because I mean he's over the top guy. Oh, no question. But you know, he's right about this. These are he's right. Who got a guy who's being railroaded would no evidence? Absolutely. Zero evidence. The way when we say this is where we're at now, if you go back to Gorsuch, that's not now exactly exa- we've evolved. Yes, you have helped evolve us to now. Yes, this is what you get from now on. Right. That doesn't mean you get to say, what about Gorsuch? No, no, we're done. Yeah, this is the way it's headed. Yes. Yeah, we see what you're doing and we're expecting it to continue, probably get worse, triple eight, nine hundred thirty, three Ninety-three losing weight and keeping it off is hard. "Jimbotalks. Well, that likely vote by the Senate Judiciary committee this Thursday on the bread Cavanaugh supreme court nomination. Nope. Instead the committee will hold a hearing a public hearing next Monday with off and the woman accusing him of sexual assault when they were both teenagers. But as Bob Costantini reports. The Trump White House maintains it read Kevin will be confirmed. No matter what it's only natural. Any president would defend his choice for the supreme court. Donald Trump is no different. When speaking of bread Kavanagh. He's an outstanding intellect and outstanding judge respected by everybody. Never had even a little blemish on his record. But Kevin stands accused of sexually assaulting a girl. Thirty-seven? Years ago when both were in high school and the pendulum on Capitol Hill is swinging toward the Senate Judiciary committee holding a special hearing for both to appear in state their cases. President Trump seems patient with the extra days or weeks may take believing in the end Kevin all will be confirmed though through a process and here everybody out, I think it's important. I believe they think it's important. Of course, the president wonders why the accusations were not disclosed up front in the confirmation process. This is something that should have been brought up long before this. They had the information in July. I understand it ranking judiciary committee democrat Dianne Feinstein admits she had a letter from the accuser back then. But the woman reportedly did not want public disclosure of the matter, and it's been Republicans calling for a halt to what appear to be a glide path to confirmation for Cavanaugh. I think he's very much on track. If they delayed a little bit just to make sure everybody's happy. They want to be half the Republican senators one hundred percent happy themselves while waiting to find out what the Senate was going to do the White House issued a statement judge. Kevin looks forward to a hearing where he can clear his name of this. False allegation. He stands ready to testify. If the Senate is ready to hear him. There was a reference to tomorrow meaning Tuesday. However, there's a hearing scheduled for Monday. Bob Costantini, the White House. So let's talk about that this evening, and we will do so in the company of a political analyst and former Trump aide, Michael Caputo joins us this evening O, Michael Jim, thanks for having me back. Absolately? Good to have you on one thing right off the bat that jumps out at me is the explanation given by Dianne Feinstein, the ranking democrat on the judiciary committee. Yes, she had this letter from the accuser back in July. But the woman did not want public disclosure of the matter. And yet I am told that in August. Let's not forget that we're getting into the later part of September here that in August that this woman had already taken a polygraph and had hired attorneys that doesn't sound like the process one ordinarily takes what one just simply sits on something. Of course, not as we all know these polygraph lie detector tests, are not not, you know, they don't they're not allowed to be brought up in court, and we know that a lot of criminals mass murderers and drug cartels. They pass them all the time. It's really just perception, it's all spin. And I think Senator Collins who's voted so important in this Senate passed she said what puzzling to me is the democrat by not bringing this out earlier after having have this information for more than six weeks have managed to cast a cloud of doubt on both the professor and the judge, and I think that should be really puzzling to everyone don't you? Well, I absolutely agree. As for the judge, by the way, it just I sorry for the accuser, Dr Ford, it just so happens that she is a far left activists and California a professor and a democratic activist. And but I'm sure that's that's purely coincidental and has nothing to do with her sudden willingness. To inject this into the the proceedings at any event. Now, we will presumably have this one day hearing on Monday. When would you expect after that a vote by the committee, and assuming that it's along party lines of therefore that would send it to the full Senate? And then a confirmation vote can all of that be done before the month of September ends. Oh, I think so I think they can move along at a pretty good clip. You know, I've got to tell you though, Jim I I was really pleased with the president's comment today. Weren't you? I you know, I was kind of nervous about seeing what he might say. After such a you know on attack on on on Cavanaugh. Why don't know? But I consider him a really good, man. He really laid this out pretty clear and was really reasonable. I think the president's right when he says, this is going to happen as soon as you know, the Democrats and the Republicans here these folks out one eight six six five O, JIMBO one eight six six five zero five four six two six. Michael Caputo is our guest this evening, and we're taking a look at the what is the date number eight hundred ninety seven of the. Ninety fifth chapter of of the hearings for for Brett Cavanaugh. I I must say that. There is a certain amount of deja vu about what happened twenty seven years ago in the Clarence Thomas hearings. It really is you know, and the Democrats are really just dreadfully attacking the reputation of judge Cavanaugh. I don't want to at the same time attack. Christine Ford's reputation. I think that's kind of unseemly, you know, of course, any woman's claim of sexual assault that needs to be heard out that doesn't mean that the claims should be accepted without any evidence. It's just not solely a question of lying. It can be question of perception. And that's complicated. By almost four decades since she claims that she was attacked. And I think that's that makes us all a lot more difficult. And of course, any man or woman who was accused of sexual assault deserves the right to face the accusation with a Ferro accusation, a thorough examination of the accusers Motors to and that takes some time, and and that's all difficult. And this is why the Democrats waited they wanna make sure I insist the Senate does their civic duty at a point in the process when when they it's gonna require a delay in the process now the other person who was supposed. Deadly with them. The other guy the friend of of Cavanaugh's. Says that nothing like that happened. And then we have of course, Dr Ford's own admission to the Washington Post that some of the details are hazy in her mind, and of course, on top of that we've got all the other women coming out of the woodwork making such accusations. Oh, wait a minute. There haven't been any other women who came out of the woodwork. Right. And I I was really I I got a smile on my face today. When I saw the lawyer that she she chose Deborah camps. Who's got a long democrat activist history, especially when it comes to sexual harassment in the nineties. She was defending Bill Clinton against Paula Jones who accused the president of attacking her, and she called Debra she called, you know, Denver can't call Paula Jones case, very very weak. In fact, if you read some of the things she said on CBS evening news in April second back in nineteen ninety eight. She said the Paula Jones Accu allegation could not hold up in court because clearly a one time incident she said that took place and ten to twelve minutes. She was not forced to have sex, and she left on her own volition the courts, increasingly are finding the band is not enough to create a sexually hostile work environment. Claim I find that really interesting business very attorney for Dr forward saying this now, and she said a lot more back in those days to of course, this is not a court of law. Obviously, this is a highly politicized hearing, regardless of the fact that it is part of the process, but but whether it's he will not follow the strict rules of evidence in a court of law, or is it required to have a call from Kelley in Dallas who joins us tonight to speak with our guest. Michael caputo? You can follow him on Twitter at his name. Michael are Caputo. Good evening. Kelly. Yes. Jim and Michael thank you for having me on. Sure, I just wanted to mention the left is. Of they constantly talk. Right abuse violation. And it just seems like they claim the moral high ground here and are actually committing human rights violation trying to convey cavern on we'll only an accusation with no evidence. No group. You know, there's no police reports. No score report. I mean, it's perfect timing. Of course, because he has a patriot a conservative, you know, he's going to be a very conservative department of the supreme court, and it just seems so timely all this coming about. But trying to convict him on a on just accusation alone window evidence that it just seemed like a union. His human rights. Oh, well, you could certainly argue that Kelly, and I would I would note, of course, the response. I guess we all know the response of the the democratic view as well. We're right. And then Trump should never have been president. And he should never get to pick anybody for the supreme court and will do anything that we can to stop him because we're right? I mean, that's that's their rationale as lame as it is, Michael. Yeah. You're actually talking about a much bigger issue. You know, we got a culture now that allows for thirty six year old memories to destroy the character of a of a good man in judge Cavanaugh, and we have a political party, the Democrats who wet tonight this whole serious issue of sexual assault. And in the end up we end up destroying a man and destroy the issue itself. Because in the end, the sexual assault will end up meaning nothing now, we know it's. Everybody civic duty, including the Senate Judiciary committee to uncover the truth and assigned wait to one accuser says and also to defend of fellow citizens from.

"Hannity show this is what's right with america you're listening to the sean hannity show michael caputo contacted me and he said that he had been contacted by a man using an alias as it turns out henry greenburg who had information that he said it would be great value to the trump campaign and henry greenberg turns out to be an fbi informant of russian descent who's been admitted into the country nine times on informant visas who is violent felon who otherwise could not be in the country and then he tries to entrapped me but he gives away the game when he says he wants to million dollars foreign negative information on hillary when i tell them i don't have two million dollars he says it's not your money i want it's donald trump's money i think it was an fbi plant seeking to entrap me and to compromise trump michael caputo set up the meeting for roger stone both of them were interviewed in the summer and fall of twenty seventeen they're interviewed longtime after we i requested to interview with them meaning that a letter was sent to both of them laid out the scope of what we wanted to talk to them about which was primarily russian contacts that they had and they had a long time to prepare with their lawyers they both came in with lawyers so based on my experience of examining witnesses i concluded that they had prepared and they knew what we were going to ask and so to say that there was a failure of memory by both individuals to recall this meeting i just don't buy it i think they just lied through their teeth to protect the fact that they were willing and eager to take a meeting with russians who were offering dirt do you think that roger stone perjured himself in his testimony or michael caputo except when you were testifying in this republican led house intelligence committee which will not turn over the transcripts to bob muller or to the public so they are shielded by republicans who will not allow muller's team to see the transcript muller asked for that testimony you know i can't go into that i i can just tell you that we have requested mr schiff has requested to devin nunes that we'd be able to send over to special counsel some of the crimes that we believe were committed through failure to recall or just straight up you know deception that we saw and the new the new team has refused to cooperate with us on that and it'll be sent over to muller has yes i do believe i do believe that there that both caputo and stone that special counsel should be able to look at that for perjury all right there you have well predictable democratic let's continue the fishing expedition no matter how far it goes and how deep it's found listening to what roger stone and michael caputo both said there was no there there this is a dirty little secret fact and that is his that democrats they take meetings all the the time when it's about op research on their opponents it is standard operating procedure you mean to say that if somebody calls over two senate campaign or somebody calls over to a congressional campaign oh i've got all the dirt on your opponents you're not going to sit and listen as long as nothing happened and by the way it's it's not illegal especially if it would be the truth in the case of everything that was presented before the pfizer court judge member that was all bought and paid for lies anyway michael caputo is with us republican strategists he's been targeted by the left for his associations with the president you know one of the scariest things you said to me is after you had a meeting with i guess muller's team he came out of the meeting but the last thing they said to you and we will be watching meaning you know how did you interpret it because i know how i interpreted it was a very chilling statement thanks for having me on by the way sean when the prosecutor said that to me mr computer we know that you're having problems paying for your legal fees you know that's why we agreed to pay for your airplane fair and your hotel for this interview but we're watching you on television we want to.

"To arrange the interview well then at a very minimum the obama state department had to be involved and i don't see how the obama fbi enlisted the obama state department's help without the obama white house signing off on it and if that happened which apparently in the new york times it's got to be true that means john kerry as well as obama played a active role in instigating this investigation from the very outset yeah the same john kerry was recently trying to undermine the president on the issue of getting out of that horrific rainy and deal well maybe it's time to drag secretary kerry up to capitol hill let's see what did he know when did he know it what did president obama now when did he know it about the tense deliberations with the top australian officials which would necessary to launch the entire russia gate investigation the investigation was going on by the way before you know we now learn to that was another problem is just one problem after another now let me get to another point here there's a grand jury witness saying that muller is trying to manufacture crimes this was in the daily caller today a witness who testified before muller's grand jury last month is accusing the special prosecutor of manufacturing crimes against trump associates in order to pressure them to testify against the president this is huge former trump aide michael caputo he was interviewed said even though it doesn't seem so far that they've got direct evidence of russia collusion they're still managing to manufacture crimes caputo believes manafort a really good chance of defeating the charges brought against him during the russia probe and that the team of muller is headed by you know headed a jamming up roger stone that was the latest you know apparently they they now have subpoenaed roger stone's twitter advisor twitter guy and anyway the they've accused stone of knowing what was in the wikileaks dropped before that ever happened which i doubt ever i doubt that's true at all and on the antibody new anyway they're not gonna find any russia collusion on stones part but when they don't they're going to get frustrated caputo said they'll go after him for jaywalking they said the former trump aide also said muller's investigation is to find people and then they're trying to find the crimes for these people.

What did you know about phone calls that Mr Flynn made with the Russian ambassador? What did you mean in your interview? With Lester Holt about Mr.. Komi in Russia. Those are two of the forty nine questions. Robert Muller's special council wants to ask President Trump in a sit down interview according to a document leaked to the media this week, ABC's congressional correspondent MAry, Bruce on what else is in those questions. The list of nearly fifty probing questions. Special counsel, Robert Muller has for President Trump lines of questioning, Muller shared with Trump's own legal team. The list now published by the New York Times and what the president is now calling a disgraceful leak Russian collusion. Give me a break. Trump insists. Molars list has no questions on collusion, but that's not true. The special counsel has questions about Paul Manafort once the president's campaign chairman according to the times, Muller wants to ask Trump what knowledge did he have any outreach by his campaign, including by Paul Manafort to Russia about potential assistance to the campaign. Muller also wants to ask the president win. Did you become aware of the Trump Tower meeting that infamous sit down Don Jr. Jared, Kushner? Manafort in Russians, they were told had dirt on Hillary Clinton much of Muller's list centers on possible obstruction of Justice by the president. The special counsel wants to know what if I were made to reach out to Trump's fired national security adviser, Michael Flynn about seeking immunity or possible? Pardon. And what did Trump mean when he said this about firing his FBI director, James Komi when I decided to just do it. I said to myself, I said, you know, this rusher thing. Thing with Trump and Russia is a made up story N when Trump told Russian diplomats and this Oval Office meeting that firing Komi had taken the pressure off, what did he mean by that? Another question Muller wants answered, what discussions did the president have regarding terminating the special counsel with the release of those questions also came word that the special counsel has warned President Trump's legal team, that if the president refuses an interview, Muller could issue a subpoena ABC news, chief legal analyst. Dan Abrahams says, this raises the stakes, let's say it works its way all the way through the courts. The supreme court then says, sorry, this is a valid subpoena and the president says, well, I don't think so, and I'm not going to show up. That's when you have the real potential crisis. We use this word constitutional crisis all the time. I think that the only real crisis occurs if you have in the end, a real war between two branches of government were one of saying, you can't tell me what to do the president. However, maintaining he's still willing to sit down with Muller despite what his legal team is telling him. I would love to speak. I would love to nobody wants to speak more than me back against my lawyers because most lorries they never picked another. I would love to say, what is it like to sit down with a special counsel's team former Trump campaign adviser. Michael Caputo recently did so, and he's detailing the experience to ABC news, chief Justice correspondent Pierre, Thomas former Trump political adviser. Michael Caputo helped in the early stages of a campaign from Trump Tower says he won't soon. Forget the grilling. He says, he took from two FBI juice and a prosecutor with a special counsel's team three hours. Plus they weren't pulling any punches at at some points in time. I, it got kind of frightening. Caputo says the agents knew so much about his life. It scared him. They know everything here. They know more about what I did in two thousand sixteen than I do, but will the investigators after they're talking about the timing of some things that happened at the campaign and at the convention. I think they're completely focused on collusion. With Russia. According to Caputo, there was a lot of focus on the hack of the DNC by Russian operative known as goussev for and WikiLeaks, which published stolen information. This is his stark assessment on whether Muller's anywhere near done, investigating possible collusion. I'm hoping this end soon, but it sounds to me like they have more dating to do today. Give you any sense that they have anything. I believe that they, they think they're onto something what that is. I don't know. They're not messing around. Caputo, says investigators Pepperdine with questions about his friends. The president's personal attorney, Michael Cohen. Paul Manafort who's been indicted on money laundering charges. The president's longtime friend and advisor, Roger stone. The one thing he says, surprised him from the interview. It was remarkable to me that the president was brought up. Nobody with last name Trump came up at all. Speaking of the president's legal team, there were major shakeups yet again this week with top White House lawyer, tie Cobb telling ABC news. Be leaving having, you know, stay longer than I intended, but believing that the end of this month ABC's chief White House correspondent Jonathan Karl spoke with Cobb about his departure from the president's team out tie Cobb, the lead White House lawyer dealing with the special counsel replaced by Amit flood who was one of President Clinton's impeachment lawyers Cobb tells me he was ready to leave almost everything that I was brought on to do as Ben accomplished comet employed a strategy of patients with Muller cooperation. Definitely. What is the right move? And and definitely the path that would lead to the quickest resolution. But it was President Trump's newest lawyer, former mayor, Rudy Giuliani who created shockwaves this week when he told FOX's Sean Hannity, that money was not campaign money. Sorry, I'm giving you a fact now that you don't know, it's not campaign money, no campaign finance violation. So they've funneled through law firm. Frontal through over and the president. It. I didn't know Giuliani acknowledging for the first time that the president repaid that one hundred thirty thousand dollars to his personal attorney. Michael Kohn ABC's giancarl with a new explanation from the White House last month. The president, flatly denied knowing anything about the hush money Cohen claimed he paid Daniels out of his own pocket.
