"Listen, you know what makes an I don't want to be gruesome here, but I will. Because we're down that road a little bit. As long as we're doing what we're really because we know people like we're at the point where if you put a Spider-Man 20, they're going to watch people want that kind of entertainment. They want to see monster movies. They want their minds to be able to go out there to the greatest peaks of imagination possible. They want to soar some places where, you know, crazy places. If you want to really make sure that it's a mega mega mega mega mega hit, you know what would you do? Take his eye out. Don't just say it. In this conversation, as long as we're here in this room of conversation, right? Because either way, we understand it's only got the special man that he is. And by the way, they just stood especially documentary on them. It's incredible from everything I've heard. I haven't seen it. But everything I've heard candidates incredible quite a man. Quite a man. But if you ever did that and you took the eye out, you had him go in there, boy oh boy. There'll be standing room only. I don't know that the beginning standing room. You couldn't get a big enough place. I saw that documentary and it's incredible. Michael Bisping has an incredible story. I also read his book. I mean, he's had a piece on a wildlife, like really wild life. And I know some crazy people, but man, Michael business, we've been through a lot. And big fan of his being one of the well, before right before we get into the, I want to quickly discuss the fury, dilly and Wi-Fi, but before I do, I just want to give a shout out to number one sponsor athletic greens. Obviously, I've been taking my athletic greens prior to the race, just took it when I got back first thing after exercise I always take athletic greens. 75 whole food sauce ingredients. It's an insurance policy for your body's health and immunity. Do yourself a favor and get some athletic greens, especially if you're working hard training. Even if you're not training, if you're just working hard, staying out late, hopefully not drinking too much, but if you.

"Can hate him, but everyone shows up to watch and everyone's interested in him, but he mentioned on our show that one of his candidates, so one of the potential fights he's thinking about having is Michael Bisping. Now, Bisping is missing an eye. I mean, I'm not trying to be funny. He has one like he's blind in an eye and he has a prosthetic eye and I love Michael bism. Actually, we'd love to have him on the show too to address. How could that fight be a proof by any commission? Well, I think bismuth was saying, let's do it on an Indian reservation. Yeah, he's a warrior. He's a savage. He's a sad woman. I think the problem for Bisping is if you really want stop fight, is he did a good job of faking his way through and bullshit and the doctors when he was getting scanned and getting tested. And he has said that. He's like, look, I did everything I could to pass those tests, even though I couldn't see any role it just did a documentary about it. Well, there was a particular fight though. There was a particular junction in his career where he wasn't blind up to that junction, up to a fight where he got injured. My memory serves me correct. He got injured in a particular fight. He got a detached retina. And then he got, I believe he got taken care of. And then he again and then maybe it was his last fight of his career. I'm not sure. But then later in his career, obviously he got injured again. I think I don't know if it was the same. I believe it was, yeah, I guess it was. And so he got injured again. So he didn't have it his whole career, I guess, to the point that I'm trying to make. But look, he's a warrior. And it makes me think of really go back and answer this for one of the greatest U.S. people boxing. Harry grabbed Ken, one of my favorite fighters, middleweight Pittsburgh windmill. I mean, just never stop throwing punches. What is savage? You talk about savage yet, bridge brain could be his cousin. Their cousin savages. I mean, and one in box one in UFC, where Harry grabbed he never stopped. He never stopped. And he fought, we don't know how many fights. But he had about 300 fights, Ken, and we think the historians believe that he thought maybe a hundred of them were one eye. And you got to remember, back in those days, the retina was a big difference than it is today. You know what I mean? Where you can go in there with laser surgery. I mean, we're talking about 20s. We're talking about just 30s. What? 20s, I guess. Where you didn't go in there with ladies and surgery, you know what I mean? You might go in there with a pitch for some. I don't know. But Natalie's surgery. And again, you're talking about fake your way and being a warrior and finding a way. Whatever. Look, they didn't have obviously the medical procedures and, you know, ability to be able to find something wrong with you the way they could today. You know, obviously they didn't have that technology, but still imagine thought about a hundred fights and we're talking about back in the day when there were nothing but good fighters and they were all fighting each other. All of them and he fights for those fights with one eye. So yeah, there's a history to this stuff, but now in this, you know, in this day and age, I don't, I don't know. Even on an Indian reservation, where obviously they can, they all covered by themselves. So they don't have to adhere to the rules that are out there to everyone else necessarily. I get it, but I don't know. I don't know if that could happen, but I know business pain is the kind of guy that began for it. He became full. He's like Colin basilio. Anthony common basilio fort Robinson in the rematch. He beat him the first time in fort Robinson in a rematch can and he looked like the cyclops. His eye was like, it was even worse than Augustus. I mean, forget about. And he obviously couldn't see. And back then, it was the biggest sport in the country, bigger than baseball. So all the varieties of that. And so as soon as the fight's over, they said, common common. And they're giving them a little bit of a chance, have a little excuse, whatever you want to call it. You know, explanation for losing a fight. They said, comment. You only have one eye. It's had two eyes. Would you want to fight? Is it because you only had one eye? And he goes, no, he goes, the other eye was working fine. He goes, it was no problem, because but what I was closed, you couldn't say. No, yeah, but the other one was good. You know, and that was the mentality. In the NHL, you can not play if you have been able to call legally blind in one eye, you're out, no playing period, end of story. It's not even a discussion. It's not like, oh, let me get a waiver. Let me know. I'm going to talk about the attitude of no, yeah, no. I know what you mean. There's plane has that same attitude. Like, no, I get it. The medical department of things side of things has to stand up. I get it. But there's got to be rules. I mean, there's got to be some rules. One way I think they can get around is if they called it an exhibition and put it someplace like an Indian reservation because that's a big money fight. Listen, you know what makes an I don't want to be gruesome here, but I will. Because we're down that road a little bit. As long as we're doing what we're really because we know people like we're at the point where if you put a Spider-Man 20, they're going to watch.

"Yeah, and she did basically the opposite of what Curtis blades did when against conventional wisdom and won the fight in a manner that probably most pundits wouldn't have predicted. Before we get to the next topic, you mentioned Michael Bisping. I just want to give him a quick shout out. His day, he just came out with a documentary a few days ago. I watched. I heard it's great. I've been here in rave rave rave stuff. Yeah, you can it's available for rent on like iMovie or whatever those streaming services for Apple. But holy cow is that a great documentary. Michael Bisping is just what a tough guy, man. I read his book. I've seen the documentary now, but I can't say enough good things about the guy. I love the way he conducts himself outside of the ring. He seems like a good Family Guy. We'd love to have him on the show at some point, but congratulations to Michael Bisping. If you haven't seen his documentary, definitely definitely worth the price of admission. It was excellent. Next topic, teddy. The strong men, big time, big, big muscle men, Eddie hall fights Thor in two strong men in a boxing ring. I always think when I see these gigantic muscle heads in the gym is like, and they're acting like tough guys. I always think like, man, does this guy realize if he says talk crap to the wrong small guy who can throw punches? They can hit him with three or four punches before he could even put his hands up there. So big and muscle bound. It's always this misconception that, oh, look at the muscles. He must be really tough when as you know, in some cases, people would say the more muscles you have, like, the worse you are. I mean, Francis and God know might be the anomaly there in terms of a guy with muscles who could just rip your head off and actually fight. But what did you think of that strongman fight? Well, obviously we knew going in. These guys are strong. I have to laugh because I'm being captain obvious. But they're strong. And I mean, we've seen them truck tires around and pick up boulders, you know? And chuck them around. So that's obvious. I think that it might have also become from the video that I watched of them. It might have been come maybe also apparent that they are eating at the same burger place as Canelo does in Mexico. To say to say the least. Okay, I'll leave it that. I think you guys could figure it out. So it was seriousness. It comes down to the same thing. Even in these tough men where obviously their skills are less developed, we get it. The most we get it. But as I always say whether the court in the UFC fights talking about that or corner boxing, whatever the combat happens to be, I always talk about, yeah, it's one thing to have powers, one thing to have strength, but it comes to who's the smartest, who's the most developed technically. I don't care. Always, always, always always. It comes to, yeah, you got power, but you better have a delivery system that works for that power. And I give credit to boys and my pronounced all right. Yeah, I think that born. Show the edge there. Because Ye's taller, I get his southpaw matter of fact hall was he switched from South Pole towards attacks. But yeah, bonson had the advantage to be on top. Like I used to always say I need his pen, you got to know how to fight tall. He knew how to fight. He knew how to keep his take advantage of that asset. Be on the outside control range, you know, be able to keep the guy at the end of his longer punches. So credit to him for understanding and developing that skill to use to deliver his power better. And he did he delivered his left hand where he dropped hall a couple times..

"Inner dialogs with myself aren't pretty present time. So I'm not thinking in the past too much. It's like present time with a visionary future and then so that's where my brain's hanging out. So where is the future for you now? What are you thinking of? What do you developing now? Well, I usually have so many things swirling around in my head. I mean, I feel like on the foundation of my life is fully here. So there's a lot that I can just ground into and then create from this position. And I mean, I'm just creating new products all the time. So much of the fact that I don't even know what we're eating new things. You know what I mean? But we've gotten a toothbrushes coming out. We've gotten beautiful body care products coming out. Not that maybe you'd be interested but I have a totally should be the purest mascara on the planet. Coming in, spring of two, two, two, working on that for a few years. That's going to be pretty exciting. Thank you. Newer and better ways of doing things and newer and better ways to try to make it better. And that's what drives you in your regular day. I think so. I feel very, and I love creating. I love putting this in this together and you know what I mean in different things and then making new things. And yeah, bringing things to people that will hopefully improve their lives. I love creating, but I really feel like I love my art to have function. So I feel like I'm in the right place because I feel like what we create is definitely very filled with function. So you not only create these beautiful products, but you also create things artistically as well. Well, I feel like I have a lot of artistic outlets that just are part of the whole thing, whether it's designing our headquarters or designing a product, designing packaging, designing a book, so I feel like there's a lot of creativity. But really, I just feel like art and creativity really is just living. I feel like if you're breathing, you're painting a picture. So we don't have to think of creativity as sort of like a separate life hobby, I think it's just really to be alive is to create tell us a little bit more about your book, your most recent one. Yes, well, renegade beauty, I feel like it's sort of like the beauty Bible and I just was like, I've got to download all that I know so that people can know about that. And I really, you know, through poetry and science, we discover the body and there's just chapters dedicated to things that we really want to know. So we go and we understand the science of how a whole area of the body works. And then it's just chock full of practical solutions and tips and there's even a whole formulation chapter. There's a whole a to Z chapter on all the other smaller things I couldn't cover sort of like from acne to like hemorrhoids. That's all in there. And then we have just the chapters are dedicated to your skin and the sun or your teeth. Or just your skin, which I call the moist envelope of the soul. So there's a whole chapter on that. There's some chapters that are dedicated to more to female things with pregnancy and birth and breast health, all these things that we really need to know. That is important. And I think it's important for people to realize that the sun is a good thing and it's also a harmful thing for the skin as well because we know when it gets to be too much. It also damages the cells and cause oxidative stress in them, which causes skin cancers to come out. Yeah, so I'm really right the whole chapter so that we can really learn how to engage with the sun wisely and interact with it because it is very life giving. And when we have thousands of vitamin D receptors, all over our body. So our skin was designed to engage with the sun. Obviously, we don't want to get burnt. But when we receive those sunbeams, we're generating vitamin D that's different than the kind of at the store that we can get. It's a water soluble vitamin D, and even though it's called a vitamin D, it's actually like a hormonal precursor. So it's very important for the juiciness of our insides. And when we're connecting with those sunbeams, we're creating things like antimicrobial peptides and Catholic students, which are so essential for our immune system. And if our vitamin D receptors aren't just brimming with vitamin D, then bacterial lynx can come in and really shut down our immune system. So we want to learn how to be with this beautiful heavenly body that is growing all the things on the planet and kind of learn like, well, what's our photosynthesis? And knowing too, that if we just use sunscreen and be in the sun, then we are cutting off vitamin D, which comes in the UVB right. So when we use sunscreen, we separate the UVA and the UVB ray. So we're not getting any nutrient beautiful vitamin D and when we just get UVA without its ultraviolet partner, UVB, then we're just getting a sun damaging array. So UVA on its own to realize all things in moderation. Exactly. So there's some interesting things that we've got to think about when we're engaging with the elements. And kind of go, yes, we have to be careful, but oh, maybe this was like two careful on one level and throwing us in another direction. Because we don't want to cut off that life force. We don't want to get burned and have wrinkles either, but there's a great middle ground, which you've been talking about. And that's the important thing is I think the middle ground is people have to explore it. Well, how can people get in touch with you and maybe get your book? So the books are wherever books are sold, including audible, they're both an audible format and all along with their also on our website, which is living libations dot com. And do you have a website? "That question? By the way, I've been following by the way to barone update. Bill barone went to Mexico. At first he lost his wallet. He was stuck in Mexico. But he met a girl. I think they're dating, and he's now training people in Mexico. So filled my feet. So good for good for baroni. Listen. Also be trained in martial arts and coming across. What did you say? The migrants are going to go. So it would be nice to know the migrants are now also deadly trained in martial arts, not just, you know, come across with COVID and everything else. But you guys see that it looks like in like a abandoned parking lot with like 6 Mexican dudes wearing like Jean shorts and then barone with a shirt off. That's never like the recipe for trouble. I'll tell you that. And I just never waited until this new girlfriend fights for the time. Right. How much weird heel is there? By the way, I saw a movie on the airplane. Never back down three, right? It was playing with Michael Bisping, was like the main star. And I love it. I actually loved it. It has nothing to do with the first ever. I've never backed down was like an MMA movie, right? So I remember watch that. Unfortunately. All right, well this one, nothing has anything to do with them. Basically, this girl and her brother, everyone has different accents in the movie. They're living. And she gets involved in this sex slave thing that Bisping is like the villain. He's beyond terrible. And he's like, the girls are getting sold into for the Albanians as sex slaves, and they have to fight each other. But it's a great film. Michael Bisping kills it. He's the worst villain. He's like, the horrible human being. But then he got the role in the movie. So there was a light story. What was it called? What's it called? It's the new never back down. I said there were a couple of things. I said, I mean, he has a line. He has somebody lines. All these women are like, they're all prisoners, sex slaves. They're all like lying there. And they have to fight each other. And they all get tricked into going to this house. Yada yada. And the one Bisping is beats up women the whole movie. He's being here. Every woman he beats up. At the end, I like it already. And the women are being like, just tortured and like just horrible, right? And then somebody asked them like they're like, why are you, why are you like this to Bisping? And he goes, like, you think, oh, my mom got murdered or something. He goes, I like hurting women. Oh my God. Oh my God. Surprise John Jones didn't get that role. That's awesome. It's crazy. Did somebody how do you read that? It's the role I was Bon to play. He pulls it off. Dude, they have these MMA fights at the beginning. And the first round, I think the guys were wearing gloves. And then the gloves aren't there in the second round. There's a couple things where I'm like, wait, let me tell you, and then it becomes loved to have been the person the IT department of American Airlines, and they're like, someone's trying to actually watch never back down three. And they're like, is it loading? I don't know. No one's ever tried before. Well, the guy and his sister like the guy end up sorry he was the guy in the I suppose he's supposed to lose a fight..

The crowd that i've been telling stories from my career. He was under stage. Just taking the piss out of it the whole time you know self deprecating remarks but people really really enjoyed it and the this so i'll here during the pandemic company came to being naturally had an opportunity for reduce virtual seminars. "That got into this because we knew out safai you know and yeah i started do martial lhasa. Eight years old. A lot of people started do martial-arts but we still out to fire. So we hold that dear to our heart you know to me and then once that starts to go once that starts to get chipped away one stop people to start to see all maybe not the best in the world. It's fucking incredibly hard to deal with. And it's a tough pill to swallow so yeah. I think that's exactly why we're starting to see him be quite so what's the word. I'm looking for nasty for. Want of a better word on social media. Yeah that's what i saw the one like. You said he answered. Somebody's tweet yesterday or the day before we talking about his money and has like that to me is the somebody was talking about loss. He he reacted with the money thing. And that's to me. The clearest evidence i've seen yet did get into them because when you're lu- when you're not the best fighter and your reaction to being called out is the best fighter you lost the fight or whatever. Your reaction has more money than you because you can't answer the other question. Which is the question about your ability. And i still think connor can come back. Will he ever be the best the world again. I don't know i can't speak to that. Listen listen when you won your chairmanship. Mike i remember talking to you before. And after that fight with rock hold you had every daughter in the world saying you'll never be a champion. You'll you've had the opportu- you're going to be there and then you went out and sock to work. So i'm negative center and say conor can't come back and prove it but this antics does this thing he's doing right now. It's just like i don't know. I really i really. I really hurting his calls more than he's helping his calls. I guess what i'm getting at. Yeah i mean you're asking these questions about mcgregor so you're not going to be careful because people just accusing being another. I'm a haitong not that i'm jealous. I'm very very happy. Micro basic draftsman. Never wanted to be another mom. As long as i've been alive. The reality is this doll. Jason perello my coach He's father was a motivational speaker. And jason always used to tell me this disa- phrase or speech that father would give unable. And i'm going to butcher this but it's something along these lines. He says everybody in live on everything in life getting a second of everyday life is something. Whatever i forget what that he's always on the top you will always be on the budget and the beauty of this knowledge. Is that when you're on the top. You will remain humble when you're on the ball trivial. Say confident that your time will come again by comrades time in the fucking sun simplest and now someone else. She's ted kennedy. Come back of course you can. Of course you can you know everyone can but but but we tend to get one. Prime could be talking about it recently. About tony ferguson. Was he tony for exerts. Saying you know he is on the decline now and sadly does appear to be that way you know told. His losing fights noun tremendous win streak generally has fires. You don't get multiple prides. Khanna came into this fucking incredible. Things can get back to that farm baby. Is it likely probably not. Because that's a knock-on conor dot is just what history shells you commend. You do great things you start to go into decline difficult it is what is i mean. That's not a knock on. Connor didn't credible things and i will say. I respect the fact that he wants to come back. And do the ice trying to be calm jumpy and again. Because he doesn't have to do that. God knows you've got tons of money. You could say on his one of his yacht so the rest of his days but he doesn't want to do that that you gotta respect the absolute last thing. We'll get out of here before we know the other side of this equation. He beat conor twice. Now he's in a situation real quick and we'll we'll go back on. This also gave you my opinion real quick. You give me your opinion position. Now charles oliveira or ideas that seems to be one of those two fights now argue. Go fight ideas. I know people are gonna freak out. When i say that but i think if i make your big chunk of money because it becomes champion. That probably goes away forever or at least you know most likely goes away forever. Because i doubt the going to give me a title shot. Go make your bank man. Go make your money charles. All will be there and he'll be there whoever's the champ you'll be there if i'm a golf i need to make your seven eight figure paycheck. What do you say. we're who should support next. I mean it all depends on the finances emporia. I would assume you the very well out of that loss ultimately. That's what we're here for. We're here to make money. You know we all prizefight as we do with the cash but we do for the legacy as well. Then there's no better legacy than becoming champion of the world and then defending the belt. You've got to defend the belt. You know that that's when you'll always be called champ. You win is great when you defend it to be actually cold champ for turn ity agile. Show going out there and find employ so sorry. Pardon me batty for me. That would be my first and foremost because you contact that away. That's the title that no-one can take and it will go down in history and then from that if he beats charles lavera which i would favor him to do so he's got nothing about big vice after that anyway. He's a big star now. We just knocked out connor twice the roar. Whatever you wanna call it So you know. He's he built a huge fan base off that dusty was already a big star anyway. We'll look diaz. You know what what i mean when he kinda mcgregor abatement. That second five days is now massive star. The only because conor mcgregor because they ideas is you know he's gangster attitude the rest of it and people admire his ass. Utah's a sport. The point of making his. If those employees is now massive story becomes the job. He's have nutley. Bob massey paydays anyway and you never know you never know i would favor dusty to be this but uconn ride nate this out of the situation and just say expanded that to begin and if he gets b of diaz will he ain't sniffen tower shaw anytime soon. It's going to go back on. You know he's got to go back on the junta gang. Start taking taking some names. No i completely disagree. I think he's gotta go off the lavera become the champion of the world and then probably defend about gates connor. You know you can find diaz whoever there's tons of challenges for the gold the gold is always gonna be the gold domain. He was setting himself year after year. If i was very humble and he said to me remember i was on a bus i was compensated. So mon- somewhere of me. I think he brazil and he was compensated Pumpkin he was cold ring. Someone and i saw him on the bus. Getting off at the hotel said to you know say unlucky man unlucky gas. Do good day book. It's just a babe and he said he said. Now i know my thank you give it up. Hope is if your career really really is by what managed to achieve the career is what gives me hope you know so that was beautiful of to say that but i understand what it means so i know personally what it means to hint to become the champ. You know that's what goes down in the history books. That's what people remember when way. Both dead embarrassing. You look back at the hall of fame and you look at the champions if he becomes the champ dustin pedroia his name will be there right whereas if you just make the money it bought necessarily be. That's true thus for you know whose name is in the hall of fame and who is a champion. That's michael let you go. You obviously always got a million things going on. Obviously your podcast guarantees. What else is going on you got. I know In october you got some also speaky gigs. Over in your over in england and i am like litter. I'm i talking to. I was talking to our mutual friend. And evans about this. I'm like i am so fascinated by these speaking gigs doing So what else you got going on. You always got a million things going on. Yeah yeah i mean. I just lost my youtube page just regionally bites spotless camera around there's just tons and tons of boxes because i bought a ton of stuff and produce could attend this way mature a proper studio but they'll still be there in those boxes to because i just got time to dedicate to doing it got a few movie things coming up. "Yes to believe in his mind that he was going to turn around in the second round if like having all got broken because if he doesn't dude if he doesn't if he does accent if he accepts getting asked each and i probably would've been finished than the it's a. It's a chink in the armor. It's starting to accept the on that one of the best in the world. You know what i mean. After every time. I lost the fight. Yeah we'd be realistic. But i'd always say if i did this different now. I know it could be more. This is what went wrong with the training was over trading milwak- went all in on. What are those stakes them excuses. You make excuses to why you felt you should beat the guy so right. Now got the perfect. Excuse me lake above a leg. I know for fighting bounty. I would've come back and beat him. And he's not only saying he believes that you know. And he has to put that knowledge about the entire world because for instance very easy he can just come back. Post a picture of mcgregor on the fall fast asleep and six million words what that's going to piss mcgregor off as he did that. He sells token about his wife. And all the rest of it because he's got no other course of action to go to you know because those into two one automation dot. But it's just it's just. It's the competitive nature of the human beings on the fires. You know what. I mean that that's why you know it does border on the delusional and i've been there myself but you have to have to have that you cannot accept if you i mean you can you. Can you should accept why you abated and go away and learn from it because only then you truly learn only then do you go away and sit down. Speak to you coach. Say what the foot was either. Among in that fight why was he able to beat me so much was getting pounded in the face with elbows. You don't that's what you need to do but also at the same time when you do that. It is allowing yourself to believe that the now if you've been the best in the world degrades powerful. Tom fights the double champion. The rescue that was maybe a thing of the past. You know so yes just go. Connor mcgregor but still enough swinging off his notes. Yeah feel free to disagree with me on this. But here's what i take from this. And here's my opinion on this. And i think this is part of it at least at least small part of it. Connor is one in three in his last. Four fights is one win was over donald cowboys running who. I have the absolute mess utmost respect for. He's alleged in the sport. Maybe not the same cowboy. Then that was the cowboy fighting for titles and being one of the best with the world again not knock on emerson's reality she's facts. He's one in three he got dismantled by portraying the rematch and things were not going well for him. In a third fight he was getting. I mean people score that attend around. It was it was. It was not going well for him. And you'll get to fight again. Yes technically one one round. But the fight was pretty lopsided then he got choked out in the fourth round. I think part one of the reasons why they connors go into this right now so named for the first time really since he came to the. Ufc people are doubting him. People are no longer saying connors. The best in the world. He's no longer the champ chant. he's no longer than number one. Feather way he's no longer the number four ranked lightweight. He's not even in their conversation. Now and i have to imagine for a guy like connor for all the money and all the act of all the things he gets all the lamborghini yachts. He's talking about these days. That's all great. The money's awesome but he wants to be the best in the world. And i think for the first time in his career at least right now people are truly doubting him as a fighter and i have to imagine that bugs them to no end and i think that's part of and again. I'm not making excuses for him. But that's part of wise lashing out so much the spotlight. Because i think for the first time ever people are saying you know what maybe connor isn't that good. Maybe connor isn't one of the best in the world. And i'm sure that bugs the hell out of them that that's exactly what as you gotta think about it. You know you can't do the see on this crazy tear be everybody came chump champ. You made tons of money world famous old investigate but now that's all still the money still dad the fame show. That was the only thing that's not there is is the opponents you know and you know the that that i know are houston all. Should i say as you know he. He prides himself on There's a reason why he got to where he was. you know. it's not easy for anybody to get to that kind of heights. When i will the championship that came from years of sacrifice hard work dedication and is because anyone that achieves is because it's what they pride themselves on you know like. When i was a kid i was always getting into fights. You know which which. I wish i wasn't but i was and that was kind of my identity that was was. I was michael based right now. Big based unit. They called me. I was the guy. That was my day and i leaned into that because that was all a hud. Come from a wealthy family in la di. you're not quite the opposite. And and when i was younger i was known for being a tough guy and that was my identity so i leaned into that if someone wanted to she could beat me and if i is it well fuck that. Well let's say over from the next town along go on the park. We'd have this. I'm talking about school and stuff because that was made. That was my denser. So i about as far as account of course that personality flaws. That's up normal to be lie but when you're a kid and when you're a fighter that's all you've got you know and that's who you identity and i don't know if his exactly similar to nabal for most fires that is how we figure out that we're fire that we don't we can fight you know i'm not saying that everybody come from streetfighting background. But a lot of his date a lot of his data. You can fucking bromance it. Oh you want to talk. About martial arts bruce lee all day fucking long but the reality is that. We're all tough motherfuckers..

"We're all trying to get ahead or trying to make your way in life. Try to pay the bills. We'll look after our kids. Whatever it is. So if you've got an opportunity god bless go for it but i'm just just fighting fighting another person in a ring in a professional scenario. I'm not sure. That's where everybody. And i i just feel that a lot of people don't give it the don't respect that it's ju- you're absolutely Speaking of spectacle. I didn't move on the next topic here on fighter verses right and we're gonna talk about spectacle Spectacle right now is what we're getting a lot out of one guy by the name of conor mcgregor connor since unfortunately breaking his leg and his trilogy with has been all about spectacle. He's been oliver social media. He's gotten into war worse as everybody. My my my my coast notwithstanding. But i mean obviously just last night does support. He would after kabibi. Now we're lease had this new bromance with jose-ayala which i find a larry's not hilarious. There's just funny the like these. Two guys are suddenly like buddies which is great. I guess but now now look sorry to interrupt with that. That's every fire does on the planet right see What do we know of. Course he's picking josie. Because he beat. Josie just like i do i. Bay are now. They're the best takes a special kind of so much to do that. So if anyone that you'd be you always root for them to win because he makes your win look even better and if anyone that beats you you always root for them to if they beat you you always root for them to win the they'd be everybody you know what i'm saying. So what kind of do we now. He's big enough. Josie because it makes his look even better but god bless him. I do the same thinks about oh fires if you beat someone you big them up to the max but sorry go on cuts. I guess i guess like getting into the connor thing like a private say. I'm not like making you respond to connor stuff here. But like here's the thing. i like. Connor i i've known connor seriously. I know him very well. Like i'll tell you a personal story about connor really meant a lot to me. A lot of people know of years ago when fox sports they dumped all the writers and i was one of them when i was working fox sports day. Lego everybody every writer on the staffroom baseball football everybody and connery sesame on twitter and direct estimate said oh man it really sucks. That's bullshit they shouldn't let you go. Yeah i feel for you. Let me know where you go next. I thought that was cool as a connor doesn't need to do that. He absolutely. I meant a lot to be a lot of fighters reach out. But that was like wow. That's pretty cool like you know. That was cool for him to do that. that being third. What's going on right now. It's getting ugly. And i think in a way it's like like when you lose if i listen i'm not heartbreaks from breaking the land that's a crappy way to lose a fight. I get it things. Were not looking good for him up to that point but you know he had a broken leg and just like i've talked to chris. Y you've had curse wiedeman on your podcast. Willie that breaks my heart to see that kind of thing happen to a guy you curse wagmans doing right now. He's doing video blogs talking about his comeback talking about his recovery. And it's been fascinating and chris gray guy. I know. Chris mcgregor connors like doing literally. I didn't i didn't connor. Look to curse wiedemann's game and said you know what i'm gonna do the exact opposite of what chris wyman doing. I'm not gonna talk about recovery. I'm gonna start online. Twitter wars with everybody that i've ever associated with in the history of the sport and then when people react to that then he lashes out of denver. You just said something spent the other day is this. I'm like connor like i. When did he say to these. Call me big frankenstein looking guy or something like that. But like i'm just like dude. Listen i get it. You're you're you're down right now and you're you're you're her and you're going to be out for your i get it but like to me. It's almost like just fade away from the spotlight. Get better put out your put out your recovery tweets and instagram's that i guess i guess what he's trying to do is stay relevant right now but kinda doesn't need to do that. Covers the biggest star in sport. He cannot do anything for six months. And pop back up and people are still going to pay attention to him. So i don't understand the logic of what's going on with connor right now. I just don't get it do i. I mean I mean i guess. I suppose strand look at it fighters you know we we have to have this self relief ourselves so does bodas on the delusional. You know what i made. And i guess i had the i i know for fights when i was fine i was always proclaiming. I was going to be bad. Know everybody knife agreed with. I in fact quite the opposite in on h. p. deluded. But you have to have that. You have to have that belief in yourself and if you don't have that then you're on you're probably not going to go very far as a fighter and for him by now. That's the best way that he can deal with losing these faisal. They'll make an excuse. She's void far from it. Because i was the you know i. I was at the receiving end of. Somebody's bolshie recently as well made so but but i think for him you still believe that he's the on again off a relationship with him. We used to be friendly. We don't talk anymore Speaking from experience. Or anything like that. But i was speaking of jay bilas a fighter. He has to believe in his mind that that was competitive..

"Because he seems like he's taking it seriously and then when you look at the outside the attention like we're about. We're both about to fly into cleveland ohio on driving. But we're about to both going to cleveland. Ohio to cover a boxing match with a guy and a one guy or dodo guys. Excuse me it is going to be a massive paper. you just. I've of come around on the idea that this isn't a bad thing. This isn't a jacob. Jake paul around. No no no. It's done about j. paul or even a while. she's facing he did. Okay i guess. Mayweather fought mayweather. Should hang these hattie chaim after that performance. Because you did really go for a while now. What was that drawer. We went to a decision. Should they should be taken out some local so listen. Fairplay t. j. fairplay to he's working he's doing he's doing what he needs to do. And his mission perfectly. Okay your mission as a professional fighter. If you wanna be a fight she should go out there. Make noise make money. Get and fucking be headlining views. He's doing that perfectly and a young stage in his career. You cannot hate not so what you cheat. The system with his as youtube is following all domestically but so what great and he seems to be applied himself from what i've seen these training hard and all the rest of that and he's doing it for a long time so i'm not hey jay-paul but what i i'm not a fan of is this j. paul's not a now. You see another people doing. And logan polls do and nice got every motherfucker on the planet that their you every motherfucker on the planet thinking that it's easy can go in there and and and you can have these fights. Well it's not a fucking game. Don't that there was some take talkers. Racially they're all gonna fire and then they sell the celebrity fives. And we've got. Who is there. We got the mounted also modified this big these two big juice heads strongman powerlifters or whatever the are forget. The name are shooting. And he's this big thing where ooh just make everyone. Fire one grad. It'll be a laugh because we think it's no. It's not that it's not enough to be taken seriously. And someone's going get fucking her eventually like a my podcast louis. J gomez co-host god blessings trading. How by jason ellis on the fucking project. And as i say. He's applying himself when he's trying to get back and he's losing weight and i i applaud for and i wish him all the best. But below the how. Richard the producer. He's fine someone on there as well but the reality is confined wherever wet paper by then because of the female comedians. That works at the studios of that. She's find someone on there as well but poise. Everyone's finding the fun game. Let's five because they do and they get tons of instagram followers and they are fucking jazzy haircuts tattoos and we're gonna fight and everyone thinks we're gonna make money and be famous. Rarely would you think that's what it is. Because i'll tell you what schlemmer signed before someone gets focused seriously her you know to me. It's not a game in there. It's not a focus. Gave a now my only say this. Because i don't want anyone to get hurt i can pull this eyeball out right now. I had next year down there. And i've got to false fucking needs to go in the next year about twenty five series throughout the course of my career. And you've got these fucking idiots going in there that have never Are conditioned body to the kind of damage that is going to take. It takes years. Just let's say for example kicking Is throwing like cakes. We recently stopped his leg. Wiedeman snapped his leg. And this is it is a rare thing but still it just pops into my head there guys that have conditioned our thi- is conditioned shins. Pardon me their entire lives. How do you do you do from kicking you do from spa and you kicking the heavy back over over over and over again for years and years and years but now he got some fucking guys that fucking take takas girls higher engine and producer show. They're gonna walk down. Non stop throwing fucking cakes. I just held known snaps. Allegra noah loses all. No one gets. The job broke and the drink through a fucking straw for the next six months. So whilst i'm not hanging j. paul all because he seems to be coming out from the correct angle everybody out. I think that fighting's engage think it's fun when does not cut from that cloth when the ever put in the background whenever the time and learned the craft and going into half calls that they could use a fo fund engaged. And they're going to get some more instagram followers. I wish them the best. But as i say i truly believe you saw a matter of time before somebody gets really hurt the bigger jake paul is jade. Paul's got the money and the time to just dedicate himself to boxing. That's all he's doing for. The last couple. Years is training. He lived down in puerto rico for this training camp just trained for the past whatever it is like four months or three months or whatever it is getting ready to retire woodley these a lot of these people who are doing this or this or saying i wanna be a boxer and they do a couple of classes and they do a month long training. Think there a boxer. They do a month. Long training heavily florida's which is not the case. Like jake paul. I commend because he seems is taking it seriously. Some of these people. You're absolutely right and and somebody's gonna get matched up in the wrong way. Somebody's sanctioned refined. It's gonna end badly and someone's gonna hit their cans someone's gonna hit the head on the campus and it's going to be over and i hate to be so reactionary but it's absolutely true like there's like i as a journalist. I love the sport. I absolutely adore mixed martial arts and combat sports. The general mixed martial arts particular. I don't want to be a fighter. I know the risks involved with fighting is. That's why that's why revere people like yourself. Mike so much because i love what you do and i love. What you do to your. I couldn't do it. I know. I couldn't i couldn't even become on the same even remotely on the same level of that so i know i'm not that person. I'm not built that way and not gonna pretend to be built that way for extra instagram followers. One hundred percent agree. Jake paul taken seriously. I mean he's fought you know he. He's he's putting money until the time into it. That's all great. Hundred percent agree though some of these other guys and girls who are out there doing it. They're doing it for fun and they're doing it to make a paycheck. But i've seen some of these knockouts us in a couple of tigers. Good their clocks cleaned. And it's not good yet. Yeah and is that. There's not as well and i said this last week On my podcast. Who wants to watch that. If he's famous they're famous. Youtubers are famous. Take talker over the. They are go blessed good for you. David amasi fallen you. Follow them and you look up to them to. Maybe you might want to see that but generally when we're talking about masihs if if if when you watch a movie you wanna watch good movies. You want the best actors when you're watching when you're reading comic books and we good comic books and a well richard of a great animation. So when you're watching fights you wanna watch good fighters that have dedicated their entire life to it. Not some watered down bullshits ride. That's just false representation of the sport and and these these big giant body bills. I forget the names right now. Forget i wish. I could say their names but i do apologize. Not hate on them. It's all right. I'm sure that insanely strong to me. Overthrowing me through a fucking wall. But i don't wanna see to lumber and then just getting all out of breath. After a round was the was the skill was a finesse. All right you've got the spectacle lobby for a minute. But after manila judas going to wear off you know what i'm saying so let's say i'm not hating on anybody going out there trying to make the most out of opportunities. They may have at their fingertips. That's what life's all about the end of the day. You know what i mean..

"Think he could as well you know ultimately i mean the thing is is that we we a lot of confidence in the all the time fi tink. Yeah of course. It's very physical sport but it's mental ninety percent of it is this. You know i to have confidence you to believe in yourself and of course if you train hard and you push yourself that gives you confidence but also winning fights gives you confidence. In andrzej polarize is younger his career. But he's undefeated. I remember when i was undefeated. I honestly believed that there wasn't a human being on this earth that could be because until the point nine happened and prior to march lies. I was always getting advice as well. And i was undefeated in the fucking streets. I was like i can. No one's going to beat me. And even if he could be now. I'll always hold my own. You know whatever for taiwan. He's got the opposite. He's lost his last. Four ak mile against incentive lukic. Very strong because he felt the pressure because he knows what people are saying. You know he'll hear the noise you'll head to you'll head the journalists and the funds of people on twitter and all the comments. I'm instagram people. Talk shit and we as we see that stuff so tired wanting to Dispelled those messy wanted to come out there. Show the world and eventually the us dom. I'm not saying he couldn't abate you. If you went down a different way book. He came out strong and hard but that was because of the pressure. So what is he going to do this time. I don't know and then the mileage on the clock the potential self doubt and then on the flip side j. paul twenty four years old literally young dumb and full com rivals. Everyone's katie's kissing. His ass is just knocked out been asking. He thinks he's hot shit right. That's just the reality. That's that's how you are at that phase in your life everybody's swinging off. Tell y'all the mind. Y'all demand is already willed famous. He's got forty million youtube. Follow his or whatever it is. He's got well. He's old up. Obviously with all that stuff comes ego anyway. And then now. He's being people as well and he just knocks albin oscar g. Bayer us j. coming into this one thinking that he's going to walk through tyron woodley. Of course you'll probably have reserved. Confidence is going to have respect for taiwan and the ability that he has but on paper or the physicality is whether their mental or physical. The oh fall into favor of j. paul. So that's why. Taiwan is in is situation here. You know because. I know he was to reinvent himself and have a boxing career. But he's not a boxer and that's not me i town. I like him a lot of wishing the best. And i hope for the love of god. It goes out wins. This week did automate. otherwise again. It's gonna make osama may is but i'm glad you brought up so to cesar chavez judea because it just shows the ability that we have now of course is a special guy. But i have a widower. I'm this technically. Ib fuel cesar chavez union. Years ago i'll his chicks but yet another thing is he was a good pig for baskin. You know because again. He's tyron woodley again hasn't been he's not acting when he fights is lost his last four but he's got the name recognition also. That's the point was not a box. The tyron was very good. Because he's a good grappler at powerful cakes. He's helen athlete in very very explosive. Good west less but the the fear of the wrestling also says the power in the hands. You know it's a complete threat whereas gonna come at you. Well this is just bulks it. You know i as he does. He know the full suite. Science does use these jobs and all the rest of it's gonna work the buddies. You move the head have had in and out you know. Does he do all the stuff. I haven't seen that. I've seen him with big power shots that starbucks. She'd you know. I remember when i fought down. Hand decem and this is the point. I'm gonna make when for the first time right my coach at the time. Watch tape of him. I said this guy's folk had this awful. He's focused shots. Is shite if you lose this guy for dawn by. Because he's right. When you look at dan henderson. He's terrible riot but he's effective. 'cause as not fucking affected because he not cold point making that you don't need to be a technical boxer and mixed martial arts fighter walks from unbound before our clubs on and swinging as a threat of down and all the rest of it. But when you take those things away and you put them in a box you make against somebody. That's all they do and grunted. J. paul is not a floyd. Mayweather is not any one of those guys. But he's on his way to doing that and he seems to be applying himself doodad any council. Be the best box that he can be. So i don't know there's lots of questions is basically what i'm saying. There's lots of questions and it's only going to find out about side. They're not. But i hate to say david. I also think that j. Paul is going to get the job done. Yeah let me shift gears on. Jay grow quick because when he first started and i said i doubted them. I i'll be the free i told him like. I didn't take you seriously man. I just didn't dindigul series. This is all gimmick. He seems like seriously but the other side of it is is the is these guys. Like the paul's logan polls coming into combat sports and there's a section of combat sports people fighters journalists. Everybody's saying this is somehow ruining the sport and listen. I'm guilty of it a little bit myself because when seeing punk sign with the kidney seeing conquer your frigging kidneys or prowrestler literally has no martial arts experience. He's gonna take a spot at third spot on the pay per view. You know what. I mean like it. Didn't it didn't wrap my head around it but then as time went on as you know what at the end of the day it's attention. This is an attention sport. More attention being paid is better. And jake. i know from talking to him. And talking to stephen espinoza showtime like jake fought to get the undercard fighters on his car paid. He said i want everyone on my undercard to make the most money they've ever made he. Obviously you've seen him banging the drum fighter pagan getting into fights with dana. And all that kind of stuff. All i mean. I don't think jake. Paul being involved in combat sports is a bad thing. Like i know there's a lot of people are going to say it's a joke not fighting real competition but like i'm coming around on jake paul mike. I'm not gonna like. I'm coming around on this guy..

But you're right back competition under the boxers boyd and now in his fourth i go to tyron woodley again. You gotta respect the guy. You know. I i know tyron is coming at this from a different angle of bed oscar. I know he's looking at this. Kind of Springboard a career to boxing. But i don't know if he's that's gonna work. Because i think this is five to five for both men woodley's training i say it out for me social media and he came on my podcast as well. He's taking this seriously. Of course our lost his last four mossy fall from grace tire was one of the best champions a ufc had then he lost four in a row. Did it go well. Two more importantly for tara bullet is about getting some kind of pride back. You know what i mean. Eve obey against youtuber or a box you might whatever it is about terrible getting back to winning ways. So he's pushing himself is trading as hard as you can But as he still got it. You know when you look at this file. Paper a lot of the advantages. Go off to j. Paul is a taller guy is a young guy. Is that the long range. He hasn't got as many miles on the clock. Tyrone was defeated his last four. When you look at tyrant as well the thing that disappeared for me was there was the fighting spirit. That's what kind of went towards the end. Old tire would do was was floating around the perimeter of the oxygen and looking for that hail. Mary that big shot you know. And of course we show him do that gays robbie lawler and he'd knocked out some of the people as well as he was known for big power but that became his kryptonite. Because that's all he would do. He would do all for that. And i do feel. Maybe the fires internal fire for success. Maybe that was devastated. Because you know we had some success. He has money in the bank. The hunger wasn't there. I don't know what is maybe. It was distracted through the rap career. Or whatever. But god bless me. You've got to do that as a fighter when you got the platform you're gonna try us. That plop gone to open as many doors talking a lot here. I'm not saying much. Let's see we'll find out this weekend. What the score is the david you know. He's the faith community. The israeli police favorite. I don't know how much it is. I believe i wanna say this. Read only minus two hundred. I think so pretty. Solid one seventy five. Maybe and the thing is like retire. I'm kind of with you there. I mean i got a lot of questions about enlisted. I didn't tire and his saying all the right things you know you. You add them on Doing the enemy our with aerial. You know he. He's saying all the right things but instead all the right things before he fought you know before he fought use men. He said all the right things before he fog burns. He settled the right things before he sang the right things and doing the right things for for days. You know we've seen and i brought this up before retiring. I said you know. I was at his roy mcdonald number one contender. Five years ago and everyone thought this is going to be a firefight and then you spend fifteen minutes with tire back against the cage and and basically roy teeing off on him so saying all the right things is but unfortunately we have a track record. A little bit retire where he said. The right. things and delivery hasn't been the performance day. He came out there like a ball of fire against since luke look great obviously vicinity alternately. Finish them shame and listened to that guy but this is a different rail. Boxing is different animal. But i will give credit now. And i brought this up to jake and i do mean it. We just saw anderson silva did anderson silva went out and outbox a legit boxing champion and we can also say how seriously julio cesar chavez junior take that fight how good ever was he. How much get by on his family. Name okay all. That's probably true. But he's still a guy would like forty professional fights at a championship on his record. Anderson went out there and dominated the better part of a around. So we can't sit here and say mixed martial. Artists has no chance in boxing. Does tire have a chance against jake. Absolutely he's got that right handed rocket. It's a missile he land. You can knock anybody else but I don't think i'm crazy insane saying that. I j. paul just he everything you said. absolutely right. he's taller longer. He hits hard. There's no doubt about that. You can say what you want about. Ben aspirin but up until george with fight. He showed a good as long as the guy had knocked into next week by hit by robbie lawler and that dude truck and he survived that barrage and actually ended up pulling off day bulldog. Choke so we know. He's got a chin he took one. Shot jake paul and he was done so we know the guy hits hard. There's no doubt about that. So yeah if you're me to pick the fight. I'm leaning towards jake paul and that's no offense to turn with me but i just think i don't know i think i think this could be a bad match for him..

"The podcast. For the first time. I had to go big. You go big go home. That's all there is to it and who who is bigger than the former u. of c. Middleweight champion to ufc hall of famer. A legend in the sport and host of his own podcast. of course. believe you me the great michael Well thank you very much david. It is a pleasure to be your first older. I can guarantee you get way many big people that may although i'll i'll take the compliment. Thank you and he's truly and on my friend absolutely go back a long ways every time we talk i always gotta go back to the way back when she we go back a long long ways so when i was launching this i like i gotta get somebody good against somebody big and i was like michael a man like not only doing commentary your podcast millions of these going on so i really do appreciate you kind car spare time i know you are literally nonstop twenty four seven news days yet is pretty crazy to be honest she knows it professional fighter you always or even just as a professional athlete. You always kinda scared. I guess is the best way worried. Boyd is probably a better word. What you're gonna do off your athletic career. Fighting career is don't and that was always something that i was obviously always concerned about but Yeah retirement yeah. I don't have any. I'm from retired yes. I don't get pushed face anymore. But i'm so working hard but i love it. I'm very very lookie a blessed to do what i do. I really enjoy compensate for the ufc and involved in quite a few cool projects as well so yeah. Life is good david. Thank you in a movie star to come out to come on now. call ma. i'll big movie star step aside. Leonardo dicaprio listened still working on that kind of things overseas business but failed to move just before. Christmas said never might down. We bolts that comes out. Sued got a couple of things coming up as well. The journeyman and that data thieves to that sad what. I'm really excited for that. I think early next year. We shoot that somewhere in europe. So yeah i would say movie star but have off from it advice but you know still chipping away at the acting career. Absolutely well the concept of the shows pretty easy. We're going to talk about a lot of different subjects. Basically the news going on in the mixed martial arts world whatever's out there obviously and this week of course probably the biggest news which actually takes out of the realm of mixed martial arts. which is what. Obviously you were best known for what i've done for the past twenty-seven years covering the sport in the fight coming up this weekend is the big boxing match j. Paul against star woodland as i found out last night. We were both going to be there. We're both going to be in cleveland for this fight you're going to be there for bt sport. Yeah that's right. yeah. I mean as you mentioned. I'm very busy and another thing that i do as well as the espn and the ufc. The podcast the and a bunch of other stuff is worth the bt sport. Now as well which i love so yeah. They asked me to cleveland's while the cobra not fi and jaba dairy person. I finished commentating aside night ten pm legged over obviously the park just about made the red. I gotta go via detroit. London cleveland at nine thirty. Am i'll be absolutely exhausted. Hopefully get a quick couple of hours not an head over to the arena and yeah. I'm not sure. I sent an email asking. What actually do you need for me. I'm human some pre imposed by interviews with some of the fights. Ziprecruiter get access. Yeah i will be that my friend so well. Hopefully bump into ya absolutely. It's going to be asleep because other. Everyone's been buzzing about jake paul's entry in the sport and you know i interviewed jake like little week ago and i told him flat out. It's like when you first started doing this. I didn't buy it. And i was like this is this is a joke. Right like a youtuber. Social influence is going to try to cross over in boxing. Kinda roll your eyes at it but you are the more i see the more. I think he actually is taking it seriously. And i don't know listen. I don't know if he's ever going to be a champion. I don't know if he's ever gonna fight. You know the top guys are actually beat. The top guys. That's a long long way where he's at right now but as i told him i did some research because you talked about where canola lowery's started out you know. Cannella didn't fight a ranked fighter until his thirteenth opponents not rank on fire with a winning record until thirteen opponent. That's how boxing roles. It's not like mixed martial arts where three year career fighting good fighters already box. You thirteen fourteen fights deep before you fight anything other than a tomato can. So i'm not gonna fault. Listen the guys are making money. He seems like it's taking. He seems like he's taking it seriously. And we can't deny that of all the fights going on this summer. I mean this is one of the biggest events of the year. Yeah yeah listen. I mean obviously set a lot a lot to unpack. You know for j. paul. He's a guy as we know it was disney star. And then he's got into boxing. Apparently hello and then it was a youtube go to mossy. Follow it. And i think you know. A lot of people are quick to dowsing device him off. Although i do think he's dispelling that myth a little bit and people are starting to come aboard but you know typically as a fighter when you get into combat sports most fires if you look at the history come from some kind of struggle when they were younger weather. It's you know an abusive family coming from poverty or whatever it was typically. There's always something similar. There's always that kind of struggle and this is all we have right so so we we take our fights scale and probably we get into scrapes on the streets and things. We realized we can fight. I'm b we night into a living and hope returned things around. That's normally the case but that doesn't mean it has to be the case. There's no prerequisite sports that you have to come from a disadvantaged background you know so you call hey jay what. He's doing in fact. If anything you gotta respect to even more you know for me. y'all okay. I'm not a complete idiot but baghdad. The only avenue of success away of children. My life around was three fighting. J. polka do the things. But he's choosing to do this obviously choosing it because he loves it and he's passionate about the sport so good for him. God bless him. An ale always have my respect for doing nuts and like say the box you will. Yes you gotta start slowly and yeah. It's you know they pad their records very very early on. That's the way it is. And if you compare what j. polls do he compared to a lot of boxes. Yeah i said this recently. He's fighting competition. Okay i think the first one was cast. I also believe that. I'm not sure then. He fought the basketball again. Whatever but then he fall but ashford right. And i said i knew that was a path that macho by even j. paul comes across. The bay is pretty smart because that was the perfect match up. that was genius much making. I think i'm not giving myself a little top of the shoulder on the back. But i think i was the only guy in the making munitions to pick j poultry with that and i think everyone picks ben oscar and even day and it was like alba million dollars. I don't think he read through but he was. He had beds back. He's not no. He's a proven fighter. He was a well champion and other organizations. Everybody said if you think jay-paul is gonna win that fight you out of your mind and i was like he called fights. J. bet asking is a wrestler. And he's a very good. Wes and he's transforms uses wrestling base to have successive mixed martial arts. But from the limited feist. That i saw what i saw was the striking none existed and then of course when benazir showed up. I didn't like it took it too seriously eloped. Life on ben's perspective. You know god blessed. He's trying to cash in at the end of his career. Take another big pay day. What pay but it was decent so good for him but he did it look like he was using that as a catalyst to further his boxing career. J. paul was he showed up shape but actually showed up got knocks out with the first javer was wow j. post modern. I'm like minute slow. I i knew that was going to happen. And i think most people were honest. They probably knew that was going to happen as well. I just think a lotta people just felt the need to defend the mixed martial arts community and have their back. But he's he took away the that that the bias that they already had their bind because he was an alabama fighter..

Yeah that was once wage, but I'm saying like but when the guys says it's on site it never happens. Like he didn't say she said when the when the cracks me up when it's like until miles about like, what are you going to do? He's punch you in the face off. Trying to do like you will do it wherever that when they got into it on the street or whatever like say Michael Bisping like this being realized that bounce. We don't really will fight you if he sees you in person. I was always fight me if I had a problem with you. You don't mess that type of guy. I mean every interview I've seen with him. He's just seems like no I'm really about that. I really will bring and I think the only reason you do with and but need security I'm telling you there was a there video where they were in a hallway and Ben was saying some goofy shift and why you mad bro why you mad and it just looks like miles, but I was going to creep up on him and he had me off before it and he's a nice guy like honest unassuming quiet polite just to like a real like a cool person like just a nice mental strength to do have suck making it. The first time I ever met him was in Sacramento DFC before I was in UFC, I was there corner and Jake O'Brien and it's like UFC 83 whenever Saint Pierre knocked out Matt Hughes the first time which was awesome, but they can't walk home. I thought here we go, like them and they're five or six days. I thought I they say some copy off the bat and I was like these dudes have to find out size does matter and they came up and nice like Nick or do some stuff to me said how you doing train with like starting to age like the nicest dudes ever. I was completely taken aback. Like I was way to get sucker punched or whatever like you said that whole crew with them, but they were making eight both nicest dudes man ever made the would be Stevens Gap to look the worst fight ever..
