"When it comes to be to be at a fear level at petit gic level. No it's the same concept in need on between b. and beat ac- but down on the ground of course we're talking about a very different buying process which is nbc to be. Which is why. I love be to be. It's more complicated. it's longer. It involves more individuals. All of whom have to be engaged with an influenced. So it's a a different animal. Well let's talk about verticals then. Is there a difference in marketing services. As a business versus You know consumer goods to vendors or distributors in this context. No the the big difference is purchases that are made by a single individual versus those that require multiple parties and an example of the former would be typically ecommerce mail order and the the the the business categories might be services but more likely it would be like replacement parts on the supplies and other product and service categories. That don't require a lot of people involved in the decision when it comes to raw materials professional services technology other business process oriented purchasing manufacturing those typically involve a large number of people and so the whole sales and marketing function needs to support that just to wrap it up and i'll pay homage to your first book which was about a trade event and event. Marketing i just got back from my first in person conference in almost two years. Thank you podcast movement. It is really great to have the chance to see people up close and personal and then also you know. Put my hands on some products at a booth at work gloves the whole time. No kidding todd and meet some of the reps and i did not shake hands but that human aspect again just circling back but of course in in your book and another famous ruth rant and i think that should be a new column is that there were many booths. That did not sort of jump off the page at me. I didn't get what they were yet. Beard shaking your head. People say that this book in two thousand and five. It can say mistakes so especially with bead be when you're communicating something complex. We have to be mindful of that. So what's a lesson from as we hopefully get back into more in person or event areas that we can take away from that book. Yeah let the impetus for writing. That book was exactly the story that you're you're mentioning where i would be on the show floor walking up and down the aisles and trying to decide which booth to approach and have a conversation with and the clues that are available to make. That selection decision are primarily about the messaging behind the person who standing there if the messaging is buzzwords. That don't convey a good reason for why i might be interested in having the conversation. They're not gonna get me to stop. and then. The other big pet peeve that i wrote about was once i do decide to stop at the booth and i say so. What do you guys do anyway. When the rep at the booth did not have a cogent value proposition. To explain why i should care. And how they're different from their competitors internal shining the practice So i'm seeing a through line here and it starts with the very first thing we talked about with your your linked in. Don't be a jerk rant. Don't be as you're on the show floor. Don't be show floor. But it's also the fact that you can't be too light hearted and do sort of like a clique. Beatty sign even on a show floor because there were also booed set were brightly colored and in lovely banners. But maybe there was a smiley face. It said have a nice day. I don't know what your product has. An right can't be too complex and go for the jugular either in your messaging. So again brand has to come through but with that story with that clear message and with helpful information. That's gonna draw me in so that's on the show floor on social in personal selling in our content a nice wrap up that the theme that has really threaded. Its way through our conversation today. Yeah well thank you for this conversation. Ruth stevens Professor stevens taught us all a few good lessons. And thank you for all that you do and your three books and for ranting and love it. Well okay so you might know that my voice and sound like it normally does. Should i run. No i just i. It's either allergies. Our book club is coming up by then. I'll be talking normal. I hope so. When is it coming up on thursday. May sixth oh mi six okay. Six and seven thirty central and It we're going to be reading or we are reading hopefully tall tales and half-truths of billy. The kid by john lemay. It's actually super short and it has a ton of great pictures and little site articles. It's a super quick read Like still one hundred pages and but it's really good. It's really really good. I mean we're going to be going through a lot of good stuff today but if you really want to get into some of the crazy stories and things that are told about billy the kid Especially a post human nestle I would definitely check out this book. And i really hope that you can join us For book club a laws or something. This i will say If you're interested in joining us for book club You can go sleep. Hike s dot com slash book club or go to click on club and just fill out the form and i will shoot you an email with all of the details with all of them oliver cromwell for me i just had thirty seven staples removed from my arm while yeah well. I had a little procedure. Done to help me with my health issues and yeah that's a lot of stable. That's a lotta staples and not a single office depot in that process All right so We do have a shout out today. So there are two ways that you can get a shout out and ghostly the first ways to give us a review on abc cast. We always prefer the five star reviews but we will read any and all reviews that come our way The second way is to either biased coffee and by mia coffee. Dot com slash. Ghostly podcast or by going to our website goes lee podcasts dot com and hitting the bias coffee button in the menu or you can even become a member a member and by the coffee. And there's all kinds of benefits for that so are one way that we have a Shoutout is that we have an apple. Podcast review so this is from nessie from sc. She gave us a five star review. Rebecca she said great. Listen and i wanna read this one. I'm super excited about this. I love listening to this podcast. I'm a pretty hardcore hash tag team. Skeptic it's yes we got another one for lifting. But i love the ghost stories and the chemistry between the host. And let us my only request though. Is that mondo sing more songs. That is our request as well as our requests as well. And then there's a there's a heart and then there is a ghost app emoji. So i know what those mean right. Yes yes sometimes. You are not sure about not jealous but yes and then i've got another Shoutout which is a bad mia coffee. Hope g. bought us. Two coffees the other day and we are so thankful for that. I think you could use one right now with boys right. Yeah maybe a spot of tea. Well let's say all right. Do we have any listener mouth. He do. I maybe should've disorder one. That's okay so Today's listener mail from jessica. Hey guys i wanted to tell you guys about my mom's go story for you guys to tell them one of your episodes listener mail so you have my permission to read the story for me on an episode. I would love to hear it so in there to ariza smiley face. Okay that's what that means. Yes All right so this is a story of my mom's goes experience. She had many years ago. I can't remember exactly when. But if i had to guess around the time i would say about ten years or so ago when i was around. Twenty or twenty one years old and this was around the time. My mom's best friend had just passed away from cancer. One early morning my mom had already gotten up to go to the bathroom and got back into bed and almost immediately after laying down and being completely still in bad not moving at all. She felt a pressure on the side of the bed from where she was laying on the other side of the bed from where she was laying as if someone laid down next to her. She said she felt the mattress compress down as it does. When you first get on and lay in it. But she wasn't moving at all and asked her maybe if she was dreaming or anything but she said no because she had just went to the bathroom and gotten back into bed when she felt that and always takes my momma while to go back to sleep after getting up to go to the bathroom or anything else so she never falls right back to sleep right away for it to be a dream and she said she was so freaked out. She was like frozen and couldn't move and her eyes were wide open so then she said she felt as if something touched her on her arm which than it freaked her out even more unsurprisingly Causing her to finally get out of her frozen state swing her other arm around to that side of the bed and slammed down saying stop it frozen state like like she wanna build a snowman no like she was frozen in good. Okay okay okay. All right really loud. She said stop it Then all the sudden she felt the other side of the bed left as if someone got out of it although it freaked out so no end felt like the presence. Wasn't there to hurt her anything she actually felt like it was a loving or comforting presence. Which could have been what she felt her arm like. Someone was wrapping armand hers so she thinks it was her best friend who had just passed away pretty recently to that day just coming to visit her comfort her showing her that she's okay now no longer suffering from her cancer but she didn't really think of that in the moment so when she yelled stop it. She was really just spooked and wanted to stop. My mom of course was of course sad about her passing away but it wasn't like her sadness was so bad because her to imagine something like this to happen like she wants it to happen or something for it to just be all in her head. She knows what she felt in the bed next to her she literally described it as the same exact feeling. When someone gets in your bed with you how you can feel the mattress dip down. Except there was no one there no one she could see anyway and just so coincidental. This happened to her not long after her friend passed away and not only that but she said the same incident happened the exact same way again. Maybe like a year or so later twice. It happened to her but since that second time she hasn't felt it again. And my mom used to be a big skeptic till this happened haha so it helped her become hash tag team believer. What do you guys think thanks. We'll think you for writing that in i.

"Grip camp not the best name for it honestly. But that's what it's called and it's about like creek see our heart. Ip arcadia crib. Oh yeah yeah Possibly meaning cripple feel not like a great like Not a good representation of what's in the film because what it's a bow is this hippie summer camp for disabled kids in like the sixties and seventies And it was like a really affirming space. Where even a lot of the counselors were like disabled themselves and a lot of the kids who went to this camp ended up becoming leaders in the disability rights movement and so they like staged a sit in to try and they were to force them to follow through on promises they they'd made about federal buildings having like ramps and like being accessible and stuff like that and were then essential in the passing of the ada as well. So it's really cool. 'cause like both these documentaries that recommending are great examples of what disabled people are capable of when they are in affirming environments that like reflect their humanity and their value and listen to them. "And clicking on the little bias a coffee. Bye bye mia coffee by me. A coffee at the bottom of the of the page. Any page at your on there So we have. Sandra grappling mera saul and christine age who were severely kind as to buy us a cup of coffee and we. We do really drink coffee and we really it. I mean we also use it to help us produce the show but part of that is coffee. Yeah very important it is. It is probably one of the most important things it really. It really is without coffee. Yeah i i don't know if there would be a show. So do we have any listener. Now we do have listener mail All right so this week's listener mail is from kelley. Okay all right. I'm not sensitive to these things at all whatsoever and emma a bit more on these skeptical side of things. Oh logic is king by. My brother's house has something in it. I've personally had a few strange things happen over the past eighteen years of him living there one of my nieces when she was barely two was standing in the front room with my former sister in law and i she looked out of the picture window which looks out to the front porch. She smiled at something unseen by my sister in law and i and then she ran to the front door and locked the bowl. She smiled at it but then not exactly all right. I often spent the night during the early twenty tens and slept in that same room. I opted to sleep on the floor. One night my head rested next to the bookshelf. Which had most of my niece's baby toys. I kept hearing a rattle in the bookshelf. Next to my head. Brother lives in rural moments. Oh man So i assumed it was a field mouse eventually. I unknowingly sat up and pulled everything out of the bottom shelf. There were no toys that had a rattle on the shelf. There was only Sorry this was the only shelved on the bookshelf. That had any toys on it. The last instance was the worst. This night i slept in the recliner. I woke up suddenly and heard short footsteps walking up to me. I felt as though someone was standing right in front of my face. Almost like someone's body heat. it felt like something malevolent. Not like one of my nieces. I actively kept my eyes shut and turned to my right side again. I heard footsteps and the feeling in my face again. Then i heard and felt whatever it was exhales sharply in my then the feeling was god. No footsteps walking away. Nothing i kept my eyes closed tightly for a good ten minutes terrified to open them when i finally did. There was nothing around. Admittedly i was groggy. And maybe it was a dream but from that day on. I made sure that the tv was on whenever i slept at his house to give some late to the room. Thank you guys. I'm very new to your podcast but really enjoy especially the local chicago based ones world. Thank you so much kelly. That acdc does this but it gets brought up with the black ice album. It's really the only time they've given us one of these albums where you go. Wow that's a lot. Cdc songs on one album because black ice has fifteen songs on it it other albums of the cdph h. Ball breaker has eleven songs on it. stiff upper lip is twelve. Rocker bust is eleven. Don't like rocker busted. All i wish those would have been a different eleven songs or or most of them anyways and razor's edge is Twelve and. I can't remember how many power up is right now but it's not too many i. It's twelve or thirteen. Something like that. So but i have. I have heard This is the interesting thing so even though power up isn't that long I have seen so many many youtube comments. Because i did a did a big review of it for for overkill reviews and four hundred comments or something when people invariably start talking about the songs you will see certain songs bubbling up to the top where there does seem to be a consensus where people have said. This is not a great. Acdc song you know they could have left this one off or whatever so there is there is a little bit of people saying oh they should have knocked one or two songs off of power up and It would've been a bit better album. What i always say is that who's to who's gonna decide. I mean you think. Are you going to leave it to the label to decide which songs should come off. Because they're not going to pick the same ones as you but i. I wish that there was a little more of like a product testing this stuff before it comes out. Where if you took some deep fans. I bet you could come up with a consensus of which songs to take off a one of these albums now. When black ice came out i was. I was generally quite happy that it was long. And i would debate people who did say it was too long because fifteen songs is a little odd and like i say it's the only time. Acdc's ever done this. But i you know you did have people saying it is too long and it's my favorite of all of those last one two three four five. Acdc album sue. Starting i would say i like razor's edge more but everything after razor's edge black aces my favorite one and it is because there is enough choice on it to subconsciously unconsciously in my head make a really super super solid ten eleven song album but even myself. I'm resigned to thinking. Oh you know you know wondering oh what it would be like if i if i could take off three or four songs. So what i decided is this one. She likes rock and roll. I don't think is a great song. I think you could've took off. Anything goes and i think you could've took off smashing grab and i would have been maybe more happy with it but again the problem is who are you gonna trust to take off the exact songs you would have wanted to take off. Remember my episode of a couple. Couple episodes ago called crazy ideas. Another crazy idea. I had is that i i would love there to be like a contest. Say judas priest runs a contest and says Winner of the contest gets to come in to us in the studio when we're almost finished our album were in the demo stage or whatever and you get to tell us what material to leave off the album or how to change an album or or you know. Pick these songs. These are the best songs. Forget these don't work on these move this chorus to their. You know some some good deep fans of the band. Tell us what to do. Wouldn't that be kind of cool. Because i've so many times of headbands give me an alvez's just coming out or it's gonna come out and say just just you know i don't want to review of it. Just give me your honest truth like what do you like. What do you don't like about this album kind of thing and my my first thought is always. I wish you would come to me. A w- before it comes out so so i can really tell you something that is material Knowledge that you can act upon and saying that song offered or whatever so everybody wants to actually have an effect you know you don't you don't want to be asked these things after it comes out any can't be changed but but i always thought that would be a really cool contest like hey come in come of these. Cds come in here No recording and all that but put twenty twenty punters around a boardroom table. With with the you know the seventeen or eighteen or nineteen songs that could go on power a power up and have everybody vote on which wants to leave off. And i bet after enough consensus. Now this is the thing you don't think you'd get that consensus after twenty people but you'd get that consensus after one hundred people of which wants to leave off so so again i'm gonna include. Acdc in here simply to talk about black ice but this is not a band who's who's ever been particularly you know Guilty of this That is our last one. I i did wanna mention a few. That kevin latham also mentioned metallic justice for all. I thought that was a good choice because because there again. I think ellie guns has one or two like that where they really loaded up on the songs there you go so there's a whole bunch of different reasons to think that an album is too long but but again it. It's a very weird thing right. Because like i say back black ice. It was like no i i want to. I want all this material. Let me decide which was not to listen to. We don't get a lot. Cdc all the time in our lives. I'm don't have them hold back. Who knows when we're ever going to see them again. "All right so judas priest i have argued for lot of years should be in I wrote one of those long essays for gold mine that i thought laid out all the points. I'm not gonna go into them all over again here. Because i did in episode sixteen. Let's suffice to say. Just go over real quickly around for a long long time. I think they had one of the greatest runs of rock creativity across any genre of all time between nineteen seventy-six sad wings of destiny and nineteen seventy eight slash seventy-nine killing machines slash hell bent for leather Then they hit big fame lot of hits with with the likes of songs on british steel Not so much. Point of entry but screaming for vengeance was certainly a big hit again. Lots of gold records platinum records They even had a platinum record with the hair metal album. Turbo this one. I played off. You here is is a later later. You know Kind of a comeback sense of having a second steam this off a painkiller which went gold. Lot of younger fans think this is the greatest album they ever made. They went through their same period as iron maiden of of a down period where they had another singer in You know ripper owens But then rob came back and then they. They stayed engaged. They never got as big as iron maiden again but they stayed engaged. They kept making records. They've made a double record nostradamus. People love firepower And they played you know. Sufficiently large shows All through the two thousand and And the and the two thousand ten so they engaged they always. They always do interviews. You know we've got a autobiography from rob hallford just came out We have kk. Gave us an autobiography. I've written to judas priest bookstore three or whatever it is Well she is the first one and then it was an update split into two. So it's the story in into books. Whatever but they've been sufficiently booked They've been sufficiently dvd and box. Said at and all that stuff at lots and lots of success So this is a band that was nominated in two thousand eighteen and nominated again in twenty twenty So yeah so we are at the end here. And i just wanted to mention so this whole thing about getting nominated and not getting in. I think the more you get nominated you you pretty much should be getting in at some point. So there's that mc five situation So i a couple of a couple of You know honorable mentions here. So yeah i'm we had our motorhead we had our sound newark. dole's Was nominated once. I don't really think it's time for them to get in rage against the machine. I think is big enough that they should be. Smith's have such a legendary reputation. That i think they should get in Little feat i find a little bit odd because they are such critic darlings and they are amazing but they were never that big band. The jam is one of my favorite bands of all time. I think they should get in. You know if if we're being a little more worldly about things. The uk loves them. But boston pandera. I think is is really coming up soon. They had a lot of success. They kept metal going in the nineties. Motley crue massive massive band. They're not in a little more down the critic end of things bjork kate. Bush brining oh joy division. Devaux tina turner's not in. I've found that quite odd foreigner is not in and foreigners one of these where i think there's been some spats with the hall you know and i think i've i've read that mick. Jones has a little bit of a temper. And i've interviewed him. He seems the most laidback guy. I've ever met. But anyways foreigner foreigners a little bit along that corporate rock thing boss and like boston you know they get accused of this corporate rock sort of tag and that was the you know that was the enemy of the rock critic class so i can understand some of these bands not getting in their considered not great bands right You know by these people were the the rolling stones of the world and and you know frankly. That's why you know judas priest and iron maiden considered just cheesy bands to these to these guys. They don't they. Don't understand the multi dimensions and the depth of why they should get in. There is cheesiness there. Obviously you know where metal heads we know this. We have a radar up. We know what's cheesy but there are enough reasons absolutely for sure. So there you go Let's wrap it up there That is our You know the the state of the union on nod in the rock hall at this point in time late. Twenty twenty If you liked this show and want to support future episodes please go to kofi rhymes with no fee at Kofi dot com slash. Martin popoff hit that red button by mia coffee or a pint. I would like to thank you. Know as as quite regular augusta garcia day parade as todd. Bushman bruce campbell. Colston beer dave fisher. Kevin latham jason. Leonard blazed barsha. And jeremy french And of course you can go to martin. Popoff dot com. I just got in the van. Halen of visual biography been packing up like a demon Signing sending those out. I still have lots of the thin lizzy visual biography. These are big expensive coffee table. Books thousand copies limited I've still got some of the bluish cult. I believe maybe four or five left of that one. But yeah lots of thin lizzy. Lots of van. Halen just came in and And soon i will have my angel. Book called the fortune on the rocks with angel. That just went to print yesterday. So i should have that before the end of Twenty twenty here. Thank you very much. We shall talk to you next time. Please go to the facebook and And let's have one of those classic rock and roll hall of fame debates because it's always changing our favorite bands. Actually do get in and again. That's why i'm not a hater. I'm certain bands do get in and that's kind of cool. All right talk to you. Next time bye bond. All of our shows note social and links at www dot mdfilm. Podcasts dot com. "It is only when he draws under the influence of some feeling a some pleasure he felt in the appearance of the animal that he becomes an artist of course in each case it is assumed that the men have the power to be moved by these things and whether they are good or poor artists will depend on the quality of their feeling and the fitness of his expression the purest form of this rhythmic expression of feeling is music and as Walter pater shows us in his essay on the SCHOO- of giorgione music is the type of art the others are more artistic as they approach. It's conditions poetry. The most musical form of literature is its most artistic form and in the greatest pictures form color and idea are united to thrill us with harmonies analogous to music. The painter expresses his feelings through the representation of the visible world of nature and through the representation of those combinations of form and colour inspired in his imagination that were all originally derived from visible nature if he fails from lack of skill to make his representation convincing to reasonable people no matter how sublime has been his artistic intention. You will probably have landed in the ridiculous and yet so great is the power of direction exercised by the emotions on the artist that it is seldom is work fails to convey something when genuine feeling has been the motive on the other hand the painter with no artistic impulse who makes a laboriously commonplace picture of some ordinary or pretentious subject has equally failed as an artist however much skillfulness of his representations make gain him reputation with the unthinking the study therefore of the representation of visible nature and of the powers of expression possessed by form and color is the object of the painters training and a command over this power of representation and expression is absolutely necessary if he is to be capable of doing anything worthy of his art. This is all in art. That one can attempt to teach. The emotional side is beyond the scope of teaching. You cannot teach people how to feel all you can do is to surround them with the conditions calculated to stimulate any natural feeling they may possess and this is done by familiarizing students with the best works of art and nature. It is surprising how few art students have any idea of what it is that constitutes are they are impelled. It is to be assumed by a natural desire to express themselves by painting and if they're intuitive ability is strong enough it perhaps matters little whether they know are not but to the larger number who are not so violently impelled. It is highly essential that they have some better idea of art. Then that it consists in setting down your canvas before nature and copying it inadequate as this imperfect treatment of a profoundly interesting subject is it may serve to give some idea of the point of view from which the following pages are written and if it also served to disturb the copying theory in the minds of any students and encourages them to make further inquiry. It will have served a useful purpose and with that we've reached the end of chapter one of the practice and science of drawing by Herald speed. The next time we return to this work will pick up a chapter two which is actually about drawing so that will be nice. This is about building this is about. Hey let's this live our best moments but let's also share them with each other. Let's have conversations about them and I can't say that enough. I can't stress that enough. I really do want to connect with real people talking about real things on the some of that If it needs to say behind closed doors while the nestle email is for you know when you get an update from me via email you can respond and I will always reply always. It may not be immediate but I will respond if you don't WanNa have your comments for everyone to see. That's another beauty of using such as for my blog and for real time in real talk. Is that when you get that email update if you want to respond immediately and say? Oh my God whatever whatever. I will get that in my inbox and I will respond so enough about so. Essentially that was my goal for recording this second episode of Real Talking Real Time. We'll see give you the backstory for. Why felt it necessary to do a podcast? And what you can expect in upcoming episodes again musings rance and raids from me and the occasional guest host or guest interview.

"mia coffee" Discussed on Courtside with Seth Greenberg

"Just there's no you try to do everything to get your team to be locked in have sense of urgency. Talk about it. You talk about what you have to do. And it's just it really is a difficult and it's not fair because in he's got kind of a fun team. They tap kids. Good, obviously. The goodbye Minnesota. I mean, you talk about just not being locked in point are going to be an issue. There's no doubt about it. Now shot making his initiative monkey that one fresh real chip. I mean, he could really shoot it. But Jordan Murphy made the same foul four times. And I mean, I I was shocked 'cause I I was expecting Minnesota to be really good Mia coffee. They might be and they might be. Yeah. They were real. It was shocked. I was shocked to get on the road. How bad they have bad. They were in that moment in time yet, your guy, your got your favorite coach in college basketball. Your guy James Dean of college coaching in behind some blue. He just had his dude just ready to just roll in to the Columbus Ohio and with Frank Howard back. They go led the twenty three and the three. But I think the biggest difference you Frank Howard back is six five top jazz really understands this own understands angles understands what he's taken away at moves in relation to where the ball is where the people are. And that's the biggest thing you're placing a guy at the top. Who's like got a PHD in the top. Oh that is so underrated. I try to say that yesterday. I had to plays own and I was man to man guy. But we we were hurt. I lost my best three players seven my ten years so seven years which cramping in around trying to figure out how to play his own. I learned very quickly that some guys know how to play zone some guys don't and it's not just standing around in zone. Frank Howard made all the different. I swear said it's like the difference in Frank Howard and not Frank Howard is to the point where Syracuse is seasoned shouldn't count except for games at Frank. Our? Plated van I'm telling you, he he's that big a difference maker. And it's like I said the for forever last night, call ravage it's like having ver- land around the mound. You just feel comfortable behind him and everybody, you can just tell and you know, what ties battle was fantastic. They shot the ball in Ohio State didn't have any answers and good for Jim. Bam. I think he's awesome. And the boy Japan who is coaching the country that makes better engagement knows. No than Jimmy. No have no understanding just how good a game coaches. No. He did it yesterday too. I'm telling you he went and he changed up that zone. He put more pressure on the basketball. He rotated the take the drop and take away the middle not necessarily giving up threes. But kind of allowing three I thought what he did in that game. Was masterful. They start out awful you've coached against it. So you understand that look you you can't have a. A great setup. And then he's gonna just to better have fifteen great setups. Replied, we put him in the garden the finals preseason IT. And we were just slinging we were rolling. We were absolutely wrong. And then all of a sudden. He decided to he made one little adjustment. We will run a different guys in the middle soon as that thin cat in the middle still ain't that guy back also that they came out are dying biggest fan and matched up like crazy. And it was all. Yeah. It's the little subtle things that he does interesting. I'm gonna go to upsets, and we'll get some pitch. But to upsets Penn State Virginia Tech what they're Teke. We had four guys school. Not good. Little humility for Virginia Tech Virginia Tech. Maybe was. It's not the easiest thing handling success. My brother, it just isn't you know, this. I don't know. I love Justin Robinson. Now, I'm heavily making shop HOGAN is offer. You made as many field goals. I think eventually not having Clark right now suspended who knows maybe also get suspended. No depth upfront. They are they do they're phenomenal. In terms of how they spread to court. I thought Penn State was good too. Freshman guards were really good Bolton's. Really good kid more at scored attitude points game..

"mia coffee" Discussed on The Jordan Harbinger Show

"What's next? Hi Jordan. How do you handle an old school friend who always says, yes to a coffee, but never ever buys you one back. I know it's trivial, but it's totally driving me nuts to the point. I've stopped going for a coffee with this person and just suggest the occasional walk. This is because every single time I do, she always expects me to buy and we're still never says how lovely or even a thank you afterwards. Sometimes when I'm less forthcoming on getting out my wallet, we go Dutch and split the Bill. I got such a thing about at one time I deliberately didn't pay straightaway, nor did I offer to split the Bill only for her to conveniently go to the toilet when it was time for the Bill to be settled. I've seen that. Is that so what the heck man? Seriously? Yeah. She gave me money and told me to use it for the coffee she had. So I use it to buy me one too. She was visibly annoyed. So I texted her afterwards saying, I presume she was buying Mia coffee is I bought her one last time silence to add a little context. This friend is forty something very single. As in never been kissed in until recently had a few years of happily living with her parents rent free well in between houses. She's not one of my close friends, but I've known forever. She's also known for being mean with money. And in seven years has only reciprocated dinner. Once I did try to speak to her about her entitled attitude, but it didn't go down well, how can I call her out on her entitled behavior without creating a drama or a straight talk. The only way it's quite ridiculous to be put in that situation where you have to spell out how social etiquette works. I've come a long way with this friend by cutting out any social scenario where money is involved, but these situations do still occur. I'd appreciate any advice you have. I love your show huge fan. You and Jason are doing a great job kind regards pay up already. Right? So this is a super clear to me. Your friend is really cheap and not just cheap, but like sketchy cheap. Right? Like super mega level chief. Yeah, it's it's. There's something going on here where. She seems to not only be socially inept and probably spoiled at the same time. I mean, I just don't know anyone that's forty plus and hasn't been kissed at all. That doesn't have a little something else going on. You know, in the noggin little some little little dose of crazy, you know, and look, I know I'm probably need some hate mail for this, but I'm not just saying that because this person has never been kissed. I'm saying that because clearly this person's got some issues in addition to that, nobody acts who acts like this, if that come on right. The fact that she lived with her parents for years at that age while also not paying for anything with any friends, even so much as a coffee, this signals that she's got a serious entitlement complex. Look, if you live with your parents for a while in your thirties or even your forties. 'cause you're between houses, that's fine, whatever, but be an adult, you know, don't be like while it over to my parents. So everyone has to treat me like a child. That's just weird. And I normally give someone the benefit of the doubt here, but the fact that she pulls the old bathroom trick when the Bill comes. That is just straight out of tenth grade. Seriously. I, I don't know any actual adults that do that..
