Now for instance one of the ones that's been drawing a lot of attention is the one from 395 South that would take the ramps that take you toward Main Avenue and 12th Street. That ramp closed is off. There's a Metropolitan Police officer parked there along with two dump trucks so no one can get by yet people continue to try to squeeze by and that's only going to end badly so please do not try to get past the blocked traffic. If you're coming inbound on 395 from Virginia all traffic has to stay with 395 over to 695 the exits to lower 14th exit Street one and the exit to the 12th Street Expressway also closed. They've got the ramps from the Roosevelt Bridge to go to Independence Avenue and Constitution Avenue closed along with the exit to E Street Expressway that is also closed off so you have to stay with the Potomac Freeway to head over toward Pennsylvania Avenue and toward the outbound of Whitehurst Freeway so just keep that in mind as well and again Constitution and Independence closed across the National Mall along with Metrorail and Metrobus service marked pen lines on a Saturday schedule today but there's no Brunswick or Camden service VRE has no service today due to holiday and back to Metrorail they actually go into operation at 7am this which morning is later than usual Rich Hunter WTF traffic to 7 news first alert meteorologist Brian Vandergrath looking at a very warm and muggy day for sure some may call it hot but temperatures right where they should be for this time of year as far as a cooling shower or

And it was a wintry mix and lots of roads spray on the Beltway and on to 70 north. The driving's Okay Right now they've done a pretty good job clearing the roots. The Maryland State Highway Administration deployed a crew of 1200 snow fighters since the weekend and drivers seemed grateful the highways they're good. From the German town Gaithersburg and Rockville area westwards around the Poles will area coming down the I 95 corridor for around the laurel area all the way to the Beltway. We're seeing increasing band of snow that's gonna cope portion of the Beltway. And it just took itself over the next 30 minutes. Gonna watch that closely. That's also going to shove the temperature down to a couple of areas got above freezing over the last hour, but with the sun going down a 5 30, more snow vans coming in. You were getting by it one to the right couple of pending issues in Maryland, North bound in the local lanes on to 70 of the ramp to shady Grove Road Specifically, that far right ramp that takes you on to Redland Road. That was blocked by crash activity. Additionally, North down to 70 local lanes ramp to 3 70. The left side was blocked by crash activity. Seattle sales tax increase headed to November ballot
"Voters this fall will be asked if they want to raise the sales tax to prop up struggling Metrobus service. In return, car tabs would cost less more from comas. Corwin hate. The new 5060.15% sales tax increase would pour cash into buses serving Seattle as well as subsidised bus passes for students and seniors. City Council member Alex Peterson says the taxes needed because metro revenues have gone off a cliff. We can't ignore that ridership on King County Metro has plummeted by over 72% during the covert pandemic. The new tax would replace an expiring 720.1% sales tax. So after the increase, the total Seattle sales tax would be 10.15%.
