"Blurry photos you drunkenly took in a low lit bar. It's not an easy thing to do. D- algorithm of it Are are a little bit difficult and you need to high quality photos. Unfortunately the quality of photos is becoming a lot a lot more improved over time. And of course you can. There can be photos of you tagged with your identity without you even doing it right on social media. Your friends. Photo said the availability of footage. Were you can be identified as has been significantly increased. Have you ever uploaded a drunken late night photo to facebook. But facebook still suggested the correct people to tag even before you could tag him. The algorithms have gotten really good in recent years. In many cases they beat humans. Two years ago for instance the national institute of standards and technology the nist gave a set of twenty pairs of images designed to be very difficult to parse to two groups the first group where leading facial recognition algorithms the second were humans. But not just humans experienced forensic examiners and i. St researcher summed up their findings succinctly quote. Well it turns out the best algorithm is comparable to the best humans and quote. There are so many cases of machines now surpassing humans in facial recognition. in fact. it's not even an you. Phenomena a decade and a half ago researchers began building algorithms that could surpass ability to recognize one another under specific conditions cold heartless machines. Even beat us at recognizing emotions in two thousand fourteen accompany founded out of the university of california at san diego developed an algorithm which could distinguish between when someone was making a genuine facial expression and when they were just acting at a rate of eighty five percent accuracy. Humans in that same test could tell only fifty five percent of the time in other words machines would hate movies. they'd see right through merrill strip. This isn't to say that all facial recognition is better than humans. Or even good at up. It really depends on which algorithms you choose last year. And i steep tested one hundred eighty nine different algorithms sold on the market developed by nine different companies. They conducted a variety of tests and suffice to say the results varied so any state Didn't experiment where the detroit to match up Well known public figures i think. D specifically tested congress people in the united states against a database of of criminals and got a surprisingly high match. So i think they got like thirty or forty false positives so these algorithms that they're not super accurate and they used a really really good Data source right. Because they were matching up against criminal photos. Criminal photos they're der der taking us well-formed portrait photos of people. Andy were matching them. Up against really nice well aligned. Photographs of congress be put the tent of an ice teas. Findings were shocking. Prompting calls for investigation by washington lawmakers. We don't have time to review the whole study but for a sense of just how bad some of the results were considered this. Some algorithms falsely identified saidan racial groups a hundred times more often than others hundred. That's an incredible and dangerous result for algorithmic which are currently on the market and being used out in the world today with care of your specifically we don't have access to to technology into their specific database to use. There's a reason to be suspicious about whether something like clear. View could actually work for one thing. It was largely built by one engineer. I still haven't gone over that part. Furthermore database of three billion images is really difficult to wrangle. Having lots of training data is always good in ai but heading to cross referenced. Three billion data points for any given query is a different story. So let's say. I look like a hundred people out of debt. You know billions live into world power. I look like more than one hundred people. So thick does hundred people all of these hundred during the database. Then there's a good chance that if you showed even a human might picture in a picture of any of those hundred people they would say. Oh yeah this guy. And it's this guy and it's just so the larger the database using the larger probability of mistake there is no publicly verifiable data on the efficiency of clear views algorithm. So we can only infer from circumstantial evidence like from the testimony of florida. Detective named nick faira who spoke to the new york. Times for years ferrero had relied on florida's statewide facial. Recognition program called the face analysis comparison and examination system or faces for short faces work because it was designed for use across law enforcement in the state leveraging database of thirty million floridians mugshots and dmv photos. You'll recall that these kinds of photos of the best kind. You can give a program like this but when ferrara tried out clearview it was no contest. Faces didn't touch the web but the clearview pulled from everywhere faces required. Clear straight on pictures but clearview could handle angles and even hats glasses and partially covered faces. When ferrara ferried photos from old dead end cases. Clearview gave him back over thirty new suspects to look into one. Tonne tat told. Cbs that his program runs at an accuracy. Rate of ninety nine point six percent. He told the new york times. It was seventy five percent. Whatever the exact figure is. It's definitely high because one has a lot of customers and the pay an absolute premium for his service. Nick ferraro's police department pays ten thousand dollars for a year's subscription ccording to. Cbs one's biggest clients around twenty five thousand dollars per year. You better bet that for.

"Ready tomorrow. Jogi delivered very well. That's imagine thinking see and that's special thank you. I'm going to do more joke. Jokes especially said to my manager said I should do. He was trying to stay within the stuff. You Right which is great. He was those old jokes. They're free for the taking and he goes good management. That is good solid. Good for you. You're being stirred in the right direction. Is that the advice he gave you after he heard the first. But the thing about the towels and the jokes seemed to remember ads. Jokes are great. Some old jokes. I don't disagree. I just can't remember them. I can't remember any. I'll try to remember that shoe one. Muck it up. I just can't do it. The traveling salesman knocks on the door. He's eight years old answers the door smoking a cigarette in a smoking jacket with the Martini. Traveling salesman goes to your father is your are your parents. Home he goes. What do you fucking think that's a true story? Because he's smoking parents wouldn't be on with that. Got To be here. That's the purpose of that joke. Matt who who's your guest on Trivia here. I know that this woman holds the record for most nominations which is why I think she does. Not She's not the correct answer Susan Lucci Matvienko with Meryl Streep Merrill Strip. Is that who you want with but is it my turn? Yes all right and I thought she's probably not old enough once I wrote it and I heard Katherine Hepburn. I went maybe to get the most. I should have picked someone who's older than that. But you know Meryl Streep by the way you know you hear. Someone's a great actor your whole life great and you don't deny it but then you see them in something and I'm Oh holy Shit. Is that what everyone's talking about? I know that seems crazy. But it's like I never thought. Oh she's not a good actor but I just never knew and I just saw something out to finally say Mama Mia here and it's really good. Something on Netflix. But what'd you say? It was about the money laundering. And is yeah. Yeah and I'm like God you know what I say. There's some actors that if I had to put it on a scale from one to ten actors of just tens that's a compliment your ten but then so what above that. They don't act they react and I know it seems like a weird thing but it's like oh it's like it's just another level. When I watched her I was like oh I see other actors like that too. But it's a some even simple show law show you see some of these older actors that have been doing it for years and you think wait. Is He relator right? Because it's just so like anyway Merrill Street no you don't know if where I could be right okay Well I if I may her spelled it wrong I know her last name is streep you know what I think. I was told that once..

"Oh it gets better. What about the critically acclaimed film Merrill Strip again wishes she was in called Scooby Doo and the alien invaders? We're scooby has sold misery involving. You guessed it. What do you think Alien Super Advanced Tech in scooby? He defeated all of them and then even befriended them. At the end that was crazy. You took on aliens with Alien Tech Not a problem Oh my favorite one in Scooby Doo in the legend of the Vampire Scooby booby and the gang take on a giant and demonic super-powerful vampire named the Yahoo Yahoo. Just WanNa look like the gang was about to be destroyed by Yahoo Yahoo that's his name and his ability to control the legitimacy control wind and fire. He's a giant vampire that can fly scooby somehow was able to reflect light from the sun during the sunrise off of his dog collar directly into the vampire yowl Yahoo and completely destroyed them scooby scooby. Did that Michael Myers. y'All Yahoo who can control weather weather is super giant flying vampire wonder which one's worth my and then get this these and then they're scooby Doo and the witches ghost where a which from sixteen hundreds is resurrected and hell bent on destroying the world the world ray and she had scooby target is being among the first victims but even a SUV super powerful which couldn't harm Scooby Doo he got away Scot free and they destroyed destroyed the witch in the end if super powerful vampires aliens with advanced tech zombies and where cats and crazy which is bent on world domination and destruction couldn't hurt Scooby Doo what chance does disturbed William Shatner mask-wearing human armed with a knife going to have against them and that's my point number one. I may as well just leave the room with James. This is the most passionate I've seen you in the history of who would win. What are this is such ludicrous nonsense events that you're viewing right now the first off to Scooby Doo fight all these people single handedly or did he have a team with them the entire time this way as he had a team at certain points in each of the films it was it was him against the threats at one point now? I'm not saying even he defeated defeat the out whatever that's what age enemies totally vampire by himself accidentally we'll get into later all the other threats he did at one point to take them on by himself or escape from them and he did. He doesn't even need a band-aid. What's on scooby? Doo got a band-aid anything. He never has raised a cane cartoon sanders and practices often. Don't allow giant spurts.

He had a row, not a Rover, eight triumph, twenty five hundred or something like that. And I talked to the guy hasn't. It was donated to the college was insanely charitable. Whole life was about chart. It's why sorted Newman's Own. The whole concept of that is about giving money away did. I mean, I guess nobody sees. A person's personality, pushing through maybe more than the agent in the sense that. You have to. I mean, you have to, you have to be exposed to a Meryl Streep, or Steven Spielberg, or Bill Murray or Letterman like you have to know sack. You'll know exactly how they're wired by working with them. Right. Well, you, you get to know people and different moods in different situations. But this is not like, I don't know if you really get to know people the cocktail party because everyone's in a good mood. Everyone's got a little buzz going and and it's fine. This is d this business you know in, can you give us any stories of anybody worked with? It's like, what wouldn't Meryl Streep be like, how would you describe she lived down the street from us used to drive my kids to in carpool to go to school. She's actually the most normal terrific woman imaginable you. There's Meryl Streep, the actress who becomes a different character. Every time she doesn't move in a convincing one, and there's Merrill stripped the person who. Who's one of the nicest people you'll ever wanna meet down to earth raise grade kids has a long term marriage to offend tastic guy and is just as normal as you could be. So it's all Bill Murray. Nutty. Yes, yes or no? I wouldn't call them nutty. I would call Bill unique, extend unique Lederman little difficult, not at all. The probably one of the nicest clients I had and I write in the book. One of the great moments of my career was a call from Dave on Christmas Eve. After we put the show together on CBS, which was a rather difficult slog for him when he was on NBC and he didn't get the tonight show and he called me on Christmas Eve to thank me for the work that I did, which was very touching. He got Newman's Newman. Got him. Volvo with a big, the big shoehorn V8. theme goes continues. Go ahead. We're on the subject. Everything I know about that era Leno and Letterman and the and everything was from the TV movie. The late shift was you were portrayed in by treat Williams. It was very flattering portrayal. You thought, how accurate was it to what you use? All the movie is. I did see the movie, how accurate was it to what actually went down? It was. It was very accurate was based on a book that was highly accurate, and I cover a lot of it in my book the it was one of the most unique negotiations I ever went through all say they, you weren't correct me if I'm wrong because the members fuzzy, but you weren't. They weren't allowed to negotiate, but you could accept negotiations or offers or pitches or something perfectly said, oh, thank you. But that was unique, right? This moment. That was unique. Explain why Dave was under contract NBC and he wasn't allowed talk to anybody and we arranged it. So people could come talk to him. He could listen, but he couldn't offer himself up and he was stuck there for a couple years after he would have lost the tonight show when Jay was going to go on..

"It was going i love the pick say that about yeah that's like you said the last i write well people forget the knicks even once tried to outlawed the no huddle few years ago when chip kelly was yeah reason like it's not safer football but i don't think he cares deeply about safety mix a lot wants to just play ball the ball so i i think he problem in the now the pick is already outlined but i mean you can't play where you know if you the the thing rubbing lay of the they're they're doing right yeah you know right right it leaves it up to interpretation by the wrath so they're gonna crackdown i do think that sabin is going to lobby for i disagree i think that say been is going to only run pick plays at the goal line just as a big fuck you learn she's run yeah yeah but i think he's he's going to double his goal scorer thirteen pick touchdowns in week two against jacksonville state next who i i don't even know who the club's a player was that actually did to pick but he probably will get of rudolph that guy yeah and and just start going going to town arm yeah so it's a during off another big loser merrill st yeah i guess i guess football is art after hey football can stay because mel st her timing was correct she went after football after four of the worst nfl playoff games of ever watched that yeah people are talking rather maybe marrow st is actually a much bigger football fan than any of us are right and she's chooses so discussed this you so pissed off you from the blowout overgrown you can and watching matt stafford to play with broken middle finger that she it that's what she was trying to get across of gold gloves merrill strip is actually upset what she was trying to say was she's upset the you can hit a quarterback anymore yeah right that's exactly right also big winner from last night swinney double swinney reached in my opinion assassinations.
