"But it is run by Maria menounos and her husband, as you see, Lamborghinis is like a Ho, she's sometimes she'll fill in for Kelly ripa on live with Kelly and Ryan. She's been on a lot of stuff. So she basically wanted to have a venue for up and coming host to basically go there, get experience and be able to host their own shows. So I worked there as an intern. I applied to be a host. I had to audition. I probably recorded my audition tape like a million times. They picked me and I was so excited. I was like, finally, I'm going to get to be a studio. They have all the producers, like everything is set up for you. You're going to get some support. Yes. So they have the mics. They have the different studios. They do the backdrop. They record everything live. It goes to YouTube. A lot of times, they set up their own gas. I was like, this is perfect. This is like everything that I want. And that was literally like a week before COVID happened. So I never got to actually go in the studio and do interviews there. I was doing everything be a home on Zoom. So everybody else. Exactly. I was like, man, this kind of really sucks right before this happened is when they picked me. And now I was so excited to go. And at the time I was stationed in San Diego. So I was driving from San Diego to Los Angeles. And I remember when I was on active duty, I would be at work at zero 6 30. I would get off around 17, 1730, I would change on a camis, getting civilian attire, and I would drive like the two hours in traffic to go up there to doing like hosting workshops, my internship, because I was like, I need to make this happen. "Dr rao had a really cool parable. He talked about in this episode. Where is a good thing bad thing who knows you know. We always like judge. What's happening in our lives. And we really don't realize that they're like it's like little things that are all kind of connecting for our own good right. Whether it's bad in that moment it's might be good later so there was a parable of a a a guy in the village whose son became paralyzed and the whole village came around the like. Oh you poor thing your son. He'll never marry he'll never live a normal life and he said to them. Good thing bad thing. Who knows you know. At some point later the war came he. You know the whole village. All the boys are being drafted and they came back into your so lucky. Your son can't be drafted. he is not gonna die. You're gonna have him forever and he goes good thing bad thing as you just never know you have to look at things like a little bit more neutral. I think anyway it was. He's an incredible. Listen to you as well. But i have to say every episode were always like holy. Shit how did we top the last one and it's not me. It's these incredible people that come on at bring so much to the table that help us in our everyday lives because it is a challenge out there. It is not easy to navigate this world and you know school doesn't prepare you for life. School prepares you for like maybe career stuff. But you know the tool kit to survive and thrive in in the world. That i didn't feel like i really had at infiltrate had a good enough toolkit emotionally to handle the ups and downs so bumped my head and the reason i bought my head was probably because i was going to be a voice to be able to help other people through it and so i always joke him like i have to goes. You're all the shit until like figure it out to get to the other side to help people but it's all good. I'm definitely stronger than i ever i was. I'm an essay that your podcast also is very good. Because you're an incredible interviewer. So that i mean all the skills that you've learned with all the careering that you've had and all the different jobs i mean. 19 burned bodies found near Mexico-U.S. border
"At least nineteen burned bodies were found near the texas mexico border this weekend. It's suspected the deaths are tied to cartel violence as texas public. Radio's maria menounos. Reports officials are working to identify whether any of the victims were migrants. The charred remains were found to burn vehicles in the mexican town of something neat that molly bus officials said. That's about forty miles away from the yoga. And the city on the texas side of the border the only state prosecutor's office said late saturday that the body had gunshot wounds and that they found rifles according to the associated press. But it's believed the victims were initially killed elsewhere because no shells were found rumors that central american migrants are among the dead have also surfaced that. Ap reported the watermelon embassy and consulate told reporters in a statement. They've activated aid protocols and are working with mexican authorities to identify whether any of the victims were of watermelon nationality. I might i'm in this in light

"New River Gorge National Park is designated national preserve 7000 acres of Scenic River Front, which has been protected 65,000 acres around it, apparently with hunting and fishing access that sort of thing. This was across the aisle because this they're hoping that this will bring revenue to the state and West Virginia needs it. And so this was something that Joe Mansion and I forget who the other senator is. And and a lot of the members of the house in West Virginia. They were all very much behind this. So, um, you know, I mean, national parks are huge right now, you know, with the pandemic and Harvey travels and stuff, I think it's a good thing. The people of West Virginia need a lot of help They are. They have been hit really hard to economically and with the pandemic. So if this can help provide some relief, and it's something positive, and people are outside enjoying nature, I think it's a good thing. My friends who I talked about last week had hired a big RV so they could drive across the country. They have a home in Palm Springs, so they left on Saturday. And they were pretty interested in how to drive where to go. And where to stay. And all of that sort of thing is a real network, though, and it's been I think one of the bright spots, but people in that business during all of this is that people have been started getting to drone airplane. They're getting into an RV. It's been a People buying them and sales crazy. Yeah. Speaking of traveling. We touched on this last week that Boeing was going to pay $2.5 billion to resolve Federal criminal charges because of the 7 37 max, one of the things that I found, and I know I weigh just died. And I probably am The only one who paid attention is because I seem to be the only one interested really in planes, trains and automobiles. The the effect that that 7 37 500, It was not an 800. It wasn't a Max. It was an older 20 Somebody 27 28 year old plane, one of the mid models. The 7 37 have been around since 1967 that model and they've changed it. About seven times seven or eight times since then, s o the 7 37 500 if I saw one more news media outlet that tried to tie The problem's the 7 37 Max has two former models that were very reliable, still are reliable. The problem is that there are one that crashed in India over there was a 500 who's if 707,500 Manufacturers said manufactured 27 years ago, the tie into the 7 37 Max doesn't exist. These people that are flying these planes, one of the things that's not well known. Is that in many countries, the airline pilots are Americans. Most of the jumbo jets that have flown by foreign airlines are flown by American pilots. And so there are many American pilots who fly these planes around in various of Asia and Africa. That's do that. You know, they've There aren't jobs in America, so they're going over there to get jobs. That's been the case for a long time are just recently. They were not. No, but I'm due West. The point of view may say this is the American pilots don't seem to be the ones who crash. No, That's the point. Thank you for making my point to say that it sounds most of them just kind of the people are not trained properly. They don't know what they're doing, and they get into a situation. Many of them are young, inexperienced pilots that don't have any real experience going through tough circumstance. Governments by flights when they're there by planes. How does that work? Do they just by him and they hear the keys and take him away? Or what? First of all, there are no keys. Anybody can get into a name. If you can get into the cockpit of an airplane, you can start it and you can fly it. But I don't think I could. Well, That's what I'm saying. But you could get in. If you could get access to a plane.
