You know, I thought you know, people are coming here. They're stopping them in the Mexican border. They're coming from Africa. Now, they're coming from everywhere, to come here, and I thought that is kind of the natural plight or natural state of man. We go where are we what's better than here? And how can we get there and we do sit around, and so if you're in Guatemala, or you're in parts of Africa or wherever you go, what's better than here because we got a bunch of drug lords here, narcos state, or whatever than poverty, and disease, and you go well, we should go the United States, and you go, okay? So if is not that if you have a lock Durell Rivas, we've ever lockdown corner or guy who returns punts and his endanger of taking one to the house, every time he gets the other team is kicking the ball out of bounds twenty yards short of that guy just to not put the ball hands. You know that's one Tom Brady, that's too. And then you start moving down the line. And as you start moving down the line, you get to the line. Nice when you get to that door down. When you get to the center, maybe that center has a relationship with Brady and he's making line calls and stuff like that..

"This thing was like where is your cellphone picking also when you getting taxed when you were making a call or wherever, so if you're DNA doesn't get you, that's a big your cell phone, right? Where what cell towers paying where you were you were you say you were because they are so specific with cell towers. Yeah. I, I remember talking to Marquez about Scott Peterson and about him wanting to get the records for the cell phone carriers to, like triangulate the phone and blah, blah, blah. They wouldn't do it. That was then. I mean, that was I don't know fifteen years ago more I mean is while ago? We're now at the point where they will, I guess. My point is all bets are off. Let's just take. Let's just dive headfirst into technology. Like we like to Wade into it like a little bit at a time like a cold pool. Put our towed sees in feel that around. I'm just saying let's dive in. There's a camera everywhere. Everyone's got a cellphone on them DNA whatever let's just dive in and we'll know where you are. We'll know when you are, and if you're paying your taxes, and you're not stabbing anybody we probably will be left alone. Let's just pray to have the DNA of everybody said, you know, I'm match mind against the DNA found at the crime scene. It's not gonna match right? And less. There's some nefarious government that wants the lockup taxpayers for no reason. I don't think they're that way. I hate the government, but I don't think they want to do that. They don't wanna take earners off the street, so to speak. In jail. Yeah. That's the government treats us, like the mafia treats earners. They want us on the street stealing cartons of cigarettes and selling them out of the back of a truck, not pulling earners off. I make good earner from the gut for the government taking all my tax revenue away, and putting me somewhere that cost them sixty grand, you can put your feet up for a while. It's not what they not what they want for me. Megan. So as long as you don't commit a crime, you're good. I guess, well, feel that way, the podcast is twenty two hours an American nightmare, and it's a triumph. True crime podcast from WTO P, and you can get it at apple podcasts and podcast one as well. "So there was going put who's talking. Yeah. They just run out in the middle street and stopped, and they look around and they run like they like if you take you take a panda bear pandas active uneaten pot brownies their entire life. Like they just sit there their feet up slowly go about like just eating their eucalyptus. They're bamboo or whatever, like squirrels seem that way already got to move on to stay alive. It's genetic I guess I thought you were going with the environment that, if you drove from LAX up to Silverlake, because the freeways, were black sidestreets, and with the homeless population, we're talking about drugs and the drugs in the water supply in the road. These animals eat leftover food. Products people. They've talked about in a depressants in the water and the fish killing themselves. You heard those crates, no jump the doing create Fisher antidepressants. Yeah. But is inhibited? They're not afraid of anything. An opiates. No. Yeah. So what do you do when this stuff gets in the water supply all these people using the drugs, they don't get metabolized something else, they get into methamphetamine? You measure, there's guarantee, look in the water that's flowing out of anywhere in LA, and there's meth in her. Oraon. Yeah. What do you call the hero in a, an a novel female? On. I'm not thinking. Yeah. So it's weird in depressing on, on, like a million different fronts and levels what we're dealing with what people out on the street and just sort of waste and the trash and everything else, you mentioned her a I, I remember having my young balding chubby mind blown listening to love line probably working at the time. And Drew's like everyone doesn't really have a negative effect on your body. Anyway, like the people like using the habits that creates sharing the needle in the Babo, but the actual like heroin. Apparently, this is what I remember it doesn't really have much negative effect. Well fessing since he said that we've learned so much about receptor systems, what happens when people abuse opiates different people react differently, but you actually have inva- Lucien of the receptor. So some people permanently why do some people crave forever? That people react, you know, they get off it. And they're okay, but some people's receptors never come back. So when you take an opiate those opiate receptors, start to your body destroys them, because they're not used to the super strong stimulus. And some people don't grow back. So there's liar. No. Yeah. No, it's just I mean, the research with receptors and all this neuro physiology amazing just in the last five to ten years, it's changing psychiatry's changing diction Addison. So what is that? I mean you made the joke, I've Schiffer a reason, and I mean, I got prescribed Ritalin when there was only Ritalin when I was a little haven't been on a million years. But what is the difference between meth and the methylphenidate or methamphetamine or you know what we give kids and what we try and get, you know attic role is is amphetamine salts methamphetamines metabolize to amphetamine exactly the same thing. Somebody does align a math like fifty milligrams, minimal you take Atarot ten twenty thirty more grams extended release. So you're getting an extremely small amount over a long period of time. You just priming that part of the brain that puts the brakes on things. So SOS people down. Now, somebody takes ten milligrams of adult snorts at our shoots it up. You're getting a blast blasted dopamine euphoria. So it's, it's the same ideas if you take. Well, even take opiates appropriately. Some people get that some we'll take Noriko they get energy. Get you for ya. Other people they just get pain relief. And that's because all the receptor differences between different peoples fascinating stuff. All right. Gina, let's bring it home. I'm Gina grad. And that's the news. Here's the pecking order, people were scared of black people. Black, people black people gay black black gay gay black. That's who were scared of Jesus. That was the news with Gina grad certainly politicians are. All right. Let me hit the simply safe.

"I blame or I or I, I shouldn't say blame but I- I- tribute to women. I think women are tracked it to this market. Is that a safe statement? I think you know, it's funny I had no idea. I was one of the few women apparently who'd never listen to true crime. I'm a crime reporter on like as my day job. So I don't know what it says about me if I would go home, and then listen to crime, on top of that. But we actually I started covering this case back in twenty fifteen when it happened. And then it just kept growing, and growing and growing like unveiling itself as far as the details go, and we were like we have to do more with us, did you know just as an aside covers true crime. Did you know patent Oswal wife Michelle MAC? No. Comedian Patton house while Michelle McNamara was all pending, yo true crime, I dunno devoted and novelist and her research helped catch the Golden State killer. That's right. And I didn't know her name. But yes, I case. Yeah. Yeah. She was passed very tragically few years ago. But she was also also that it just popped into my head. Is this to me that, that the crimes that make no sense are the ones that are most haunting to me, like the robberies were someone gets killed in the act of the robbery, I don't like, but at least they're something, they're the ones where people are just killed for the sake of being killed or killed over next to nothing or the ones that I find haunting. But what's the definition of a true crime? Ooh. That's a good question. I mean, I think I don't understand the, the idea to like search out the crimes. I mean, if there's something that captivated your community, or something that makes sense to me, like to have those questions like with this story, we don't even know that the killer planned this thing. There was no evidence. He looked on his cellphone even for the address of the house, where this happened. I mean, he takes three adults and a ten year old hostage hold them hostage for twenty two hours. Eventually kills them sets the house on fire and the motive apparently was forty grand getting forty and forty thousand dollars is a lot of money to some people, but to kill a ten year old for that amount of money. There's so much about this case that didn't add up when we were hoping when we were in trial. It was a six week trial. We were hoping it would like they answer some questions. But it we said, so many we thought we'd, you know, expand on it and kind of lay it out for the listener, if you will the killer. Former employees of the victim, he was a former employee of the dad, but he. He had lost his job because he didn't come to work ten years earlier..

"All right. So let's float this controversial subject. Main sexuality? Historically guys can be. Pretty far off with their sexuality in terms of doing things we sort of disagree with now Bill cross the line into criminality with his sexuality. But guys, we admire your Martin Luther King's and your John Kennedy's were pretty far over the line with their sexuality yet. We'd Meyer them in our thing is sort of, like, all right. They had their dalliances, and they had their proclivities and some pretty crazy stories with Kennedy. But, but listen to what the man has to say. He's got some good advice separate the two. Yeah. And I think guys, especially have always been that way. Guys up to everything else. And then come back, and then they may be good community leaders or whatever generals run companies or whatever it is. So Bill probably has some good advice for people who are in prison. Well, yeah, I mean, he's, he's been espousing all this advice for how many years that was. He was getting doctorates, right? And left. Yeah. And he was. Saying, hey folks, young black men. Pull up your pants and speak, the queen's English when you're doing a job interview, and it'll be easier to get that job. You know. And he's saying things that made sense, but we're going to hear it coming from the form mentioned Woody Allen, we needed a brother up there to, to share to share the gospel. But again, we can separate that. Now. He's sexuality spilled over into criminality, which is different. But everyone else he's preaching to it's exactly choirboy either there for something. Right. So let them let them. Preach say the only difference in maybe it's nuanced. But if you think of like maybe say, like a speaker at a recovery meeting or something, and they're full of sort of self reflection and humility and, and because of that, they have wisdom to impart. I don't think that, that element is getting into Bill, Cosby, lectures. Well, here's what I would say, I would say if he's. Talking about how to conduct yourself in a job interview I'm fine. If he's talking about you always open the woman's car door and shut it. And then go around the back of the car and open your door. Always. Always now don't order for the woman unless she asked for help on the menu, and then always let her order. I when the maitre d' fees. Stance? If he's giving tips on that. Then you should tune him out the fair no business no business giving those tips agreed. But if he's talking about how to make up a resume to get a job like a sheet metal factory or something. Okay. Okay. Comport yourself. There's this video going around this viral video that is crazy. In terms of turbulence on airplanes. Yeah. Oh, I'm sure it's on there. So real quick, don't don't play yet. So we've all experienced Harvey and it can be scary. It's usually nothing. It's just air pockets whatever. And on American Airlines literally airlines that are American, the flight attendants get a heads up. You know go hit your jump seat. But this may be her roic flight attendant or whatever they don't have the same rules. She wasn't so lucky yahu news reports that frightening passenger video was captured during the severe turbulence on a flight between Kozovo and Switzerland on Sunday. And it shows this drink cart, and the flight attendant hitting the ceiling Sohar d- that they both everything goes everywhere. It will we'll play it a couple of times. You can see travelers and many, many of the people around the drink card. Obviously were hit with things. They were scalded with hot coffee. I'm just gonna show this to you guys we can put it up to if you. She's in yellow behind this moment. You want to add on sale? Everything goes everywhere. Oh, those are occurring seen in the show. Lost remember kept showing over and over again. They showed someone hitting the roof over and over again. I think it was wasn't supposed to funny laughed every well according to a spokesman for euro airport. Ten passengers were dispatched to look hospitals for minor injuries. Barely the flight attendant. I was just trying to collect all the drinks before this turbulence happened, but she didn't make it in time..

She was having chest pains, shortness of breath, because he was doing CPR in the cabin. Old fatter both. Old seven cents, watch it. Trigger a cafeteria. Well again, since we have Dr Bruce here, New York became the latest date to end religious exemptions for vaccinations, and that did not sit well with some people as the Bill passed in the state assembly spectators begin yelling at its sponsor, Jeffrey Dinna wits, according to the New York Post one man in orthodox Jewish clothing. A lot of orthodox Jews by the way this threatening him. Governor Andrew Cuomo signed the Bill into law just hours after its passage New York has seen an outbreak of measles and many cases have occurred in the orthodox Jewish areas in Brooklyn, some sex forbid vaccination based on an interpretation of the bible. And I don't know if we have the video ready. But they are just hauling off at this guy. Yeah. Yeah. You know, we're not scared of Jews. That will be all these. Not happy. So what's the law or what, what's the thing that you're no longer allowed to have a religious exemption for vaccination? How should give? Matching there's a loophole or two, but there's no, I, I don't know doctors, you, you know, you're part member, the tribe, if you're going super super fundamentalists, like any religion, you're bound to get things that, you know, kind of raise your years, a little bit in the orthodox Jewish community, the way certain malls, do bristles. For Herbie's transfer STD's. This is like some this is some stuff that is not from twenty nine thousand here's, here's where everyone join me on, on reasonable street. I am for your religion if you own a bakery. And your religion says, man should not marry. Another man, you do not have to bake a cake for that gay couple. You can and should bake a cake for any gay group who comes in. But if they go this is for my marriage and your devout something you don't have to and the gay couple can go cross the street and go another bakery. And they can get a cake and they can have I don't need your business shutdown, if those your religious beliefs, and also, we don't need to give you, you know, we or anyone who's believes that I wouldn't want to give you my money that'll take care of itself. The problem with your kid is your kid can get measles and bring it into the class, and that can affect all the other kids in the class. So then we do need to intervene with that this, we don't need intervene, because you can go cross the street and a second hurt. The other kids in the class, so you can say, well that sounds consistent. I'm they get super pragmatic let let people practice. As long as they're not affecting other people, this potentially effects other people, and then we have to get involved with disturbs me about this. Some of my people are a little locked in the middle ages. But this is taking away the attention that should be paid to lunatics like Jenny whoever Carthy. Or maybe some basketball players concert. Got you off. It's good. Yes, go Kim Kardashian has gotten you off. Well. Leader in the clubhouse. So the Lopez for that. Thanks, abe. The, the so the origins of Richmond, poor man. Of course. We're just sitting around the writers table at Jimmy Kimmel's, many years ago, thinking about an outdoor shower. That was sort of the origin of Richmond, poor man, the origin of the gay test. Was, I think I was talking to drew about working in gay men's houses, and lucite, shower, doors, and glass and closures, and that always had a squeegee handy, and then drew went, oh my God, I bought like two homes from gay couples bought a condo, once I bought both with the squeegee by the thing, and we somehow stumbled onto the squeegees is a precursor or tell or something for gay. And I think we even talk about this. You gotta squeegee in his shower. Yeah, I mean, it'll it'll pop up with a straight couple, but it's definitely bachelor dudes or roommate dudes. They're not squeegee ING it. It's a gay. It's gay couple. What do you mean these screws, you, Sherry? Right. So it is from nine hundred ninety eight so we found the book, Chris went found the book and got the book. At your debts. It was an odyssey. We broken my dad's out.
