"megan phones" Discussed on The Oprah Winfrey Show: The Podcast

"My reaction was this guy is, you know, respected member of the community and his daughter's on the team. He's the coach. What could be the problem? Shrugged it off. So then I did too. I thought coach Barry. He's a really cool guy. He was fun to hang out with. The one afternoon he kissed me. I think I was nervous. I was excited. It was a weird mix of feelings because I knew it was wrong. But I liked it at the same time. The second chance of acting upon my intuition came at the end of the season when the coach invited the entire team over to his house to spend the night for sleepover. And I felt instantly know that my husband and my daughter and the other mothers were all supportive of it and so against my better thoughts, I did allow her to go. Barry. And I were emailing each other on a regular basis. We talked on instant messenger. He had written me an email and my parents found it. Megan is my step daughter. The first email said things along the lines of Megan, you've touched me in ways. I could never imagine. There will always be a place in my heart for you. Tone that it was very disturbing. We did get the police involved. They determined there had been some kissing and hugging, but they had not crossed the line. At first, he denied it. After talking a little while, he finally broke down. And he actually sat across the table from me and cried. And told me how horrible it was, and it would never happen again. So they ordered him to not coach again. They ordered him to set counseling and to never have any contact with Megan after that. It was about a month after the police got involved that he re contacted me. I was over instant messenger. That's when the more physical relationship began. When I say physically active, I mean that we were having sex. Susan and her husband, Dave had no idea that their 13 year old daughter Megan and her 40 year old softball coach were having sex. Barry and I are sexually intimate, three to four times a week. I started coming over to his house a lot. My parents wouldn't know where I was. She would tell us that she was going to go study with some friends. I started telling my parents that I was at a friend's house or somewhere that I really wasn't on several occasions. She was supposed to be a drama practice. Rehearsals were getting canceled a lot. I would call him at work, and he would come home early. She took up jogging and she was never a jogger. And we didn't follow up on these little signs. He used to tell me all the time that he was so in love with me and that we were going to get married. I mean, we used to even joke around about having kids together. But he never thought of me as a 13 year old when he was with me. He was very nervous about people finding out. He always told me that if anyone would define out his life would be ruined, he loses his job, his house, his kids. After a couple months, relationships started to fall apart, he didn't really want to talk to me anymore. He stopped telling me that he loved me. We really tried to constantly check the emails. She had composed a letter to a teen chat for him, stating. I'm a 14 year old. I have been harassed by older men in my life, and because of one of them, I am no longer a virgin. That hit me like a ton of bricks because this confirmed that she'd been having sexual relations with a 40 year old man. He was engaging in sexual intercourse with our daughter. It is every parent's worst nightmare. The detectives actually had Megan phone, mister Ramsey. He said, they're going to want to know why you're not a virgin. And they recorded that phone call. That proved to be key because he really incriminated himself on that tape, charges were filed, and he eventually pled guilty in court. They indicted him on ten counts. Of course, sexual imposition. Mister Ramsey was sentenced to four years in jail. My emotional state at the time of the child was very unstable. I felt like I was turning my back on someone I cared a lot about. I went to the hospital, buried doesn't care. No one must care. It's not even worth it to try and stick this out. And I wanted to die. We wish so much that we could roll the clock back to that day when I had the feeling. The biggest mistake of my life was not acting upon that intuition that nature gives us to protect ourselves and our children. So this is Susan, her husband, Dave, and their daughter, Megan. Why do you say this was your biggest mistake? It all turned my daughter's future for the rest of her life. It impacted our family. Our community, the grief has just gone on and on. It's endless. Well, the reason why this show is so interested me and I know a lot of as I was watching a lot of the moms in the audience, everybody's gasping because this is your worst nightmare, but the thing to get from this lesson is that everybody has an instinct. And it's just, it always comes in the form of almost like a little whisper, like a. Oh, that was odd. But the moment you said you saw them and you thought they're acting like that's exactly what I thought. Yes. I saw their eye contact, even just the way positioned himself with her. And knew, and I told my husband immediately, there's something wrong. Yeah. And when she told you it was something wrong, you thought what? You talked her out of it. Why? Because this guy, I didn't know him very well, but I had gotten to know him throughout the season. And he was very educated. He had a terrific career, he was very sports oriented like I am, he's a terrific golfer, even though we never played. Also, he has two daughters, one who played with Megan. I just thought, you know, this is someone we entrust with. Did not fit your profile as of a child molester. Infinite ones. Exactly. You're thinking it's going to be the sleazy guy in the corners waiting to come out. And so more than anything, that is the message of your mistake is that child molesters are people that we all know and a lot of them are well read and intelligent and they're not walking around in their trench coats, you know? Flashing people. Yeah. So you said, he's too well respected. He's too, and so you listen to him. I did. But I still have it in the back of my mind. And tried to keep an eye out. Why didn't you just confront her? Why didn't you confront Megan and say, what's going on here? That's a good question. I think I wasn't being diligent enough with that information. And that is my message to every parent. Do not be afraid to go and confront these feelings that you have. Go after you. You are afraid to ask your own daughter because of what? Were you afraid of what the answer might be? I could very well be the truth. We knew something was wrong. And I felt like she would deny it. I didn't know that I would get the truth from her. Yeah, I think you confronted me and most of the time I was lying about what was going on. So if she did ask me, where were you? You know, we didn't see you on the trail. Well,.

"We're going to have an awesome if you're listening to the live show moment. When you put Megan's phone number into the notes here for me, we missed the last digit, so maybe oh my goodness. It won't work. Okay. I've got to pull it off in my Facebook chat. How the heck did I have that happen? Because you're human. 6. 6 is the last digit. Yes. Would you like to buy a vowel? No, that's not right. Yeah. All right, so we're going to ring up. We're going to ring up Megan. And I always associate the extreme cowboy racing with serious craziness. So Megan is here, welcome to the show Megan. Hey, how are you? I'm doing great. You're live on the show with me, coach Jen, and Mary kitt's Miller. And we're going to have a little chat here. So Mary take it over. All right, so I believe we had you on the show back in 2017 and we talked all I think about mentioned you've done a lot of really awesome work in that area. And then when we were chatting last night, over Facebook, you mentioned the new age of horsemanship. So what exactly does that mean? What is the new age of horsemanship? Yeah, so it's really exciting for me personally. A great friend of mine, Gary wells, who is from Australia. He coined the term. And his passion is coined bodywork, which will talk about later for horses therapy. But what the new age of horsemanship is is it's a new approach to horsemanship overall. About ten years ago when I got involved in horsemanship, it was just it was a common term. It was exciting. It was new. It was a way to develop a partnership with your horse and it taught a lot of people in math ways, how to train their horses and how to communicate better. But now the new age enforcement ship is taking a step further rather than just going through a process or a training method that specific to one individual, it's taking the whole horse approach. So what Gary and I are fully blind is the performance model. It's involved teeth diet muscle. And so what that is is if you don't have your horse's feet in the best shape that they can possibly be in if they're not regularly maintained, they're not being corrected if they need it. If their teeth are managed, meaning too slow. Every 6 months to a year, probably minimum. If you don't have your horse's diet to the best of that horse's needs and if you're not maintaining that versus muscle structure through either alternative therapies, the dog, acupuncture, pressure, the Emmet for horses, chiropractic involves all of those things. If you're not looking at your horse's feet and muscle structure, you're lacking something in your horsemanship. So it's a really neat concept. And I am a 100% behind it because being a performance source trainer now going from just training horses to showing one is that is so, so important to me. If my horse's feet are out of balance, if they're done, if they're not having a really good diet, I'm not going to get the best performance out of my horse. I'm not going to have a happy door. And I'm not ultimately looking out for my horses overall well-being. Well, that's real. That sounds really exciting and promising. And it's something I think 80 horse owner has been through themselves. You know, especially like talking about feet, my horse Guthrie, for about a full year before he was actually diagnosed with navicular issues. The way he was moving, he was not unsound, but he had a reluctance to go into the canner and I kept thinking well this is your confirmation. You really heavy on the front end, and this is just how you move and your lazier. And it took me it took me a year of many vets and mini farriers before, oh, this was a pain and discomfort issue the whole time. And of course, I severely regret not catching it sooner, but I'm very thankful that now I can recognize these signs a lot quicker. And as a trainer, I hear all the time, oh, my horse doesn't want to collect or he bites me every time I saddle him or this and that the other, or he was fine with this bit last week, but now he's rearing up and threading to flip over. And I've learned to look beyond, okay, is this a training issue? Sometimes it is sometimes it's all just behavior, but a lot of times I can sense there's discomfort. There's pain. And so I'm really condone taking a whole horsemanship approach. So do you have any specific protocols that you're recommending to people as far as how you go horse? You know, not in nothing specific. What I'm trying to do is bring awareness. Break awareness to these things and try to help educate people to the best of my knowledge. I'm sure no expert and teeth or diet. Or muscle, but I'm trying to continue educating myself. So what I've been encouraging people to do is educate themselves. To the best of your ability. You know, I've been through multiple barriers I've been through multiple equine tennis, tried all kinds of diets about different horses and trying to figure out what's best. And no two horses are the same, but it's just continuing your education is basically what it is. And it never just settling going, oh, that's good enough. It's building a relationship with your equine Dennis with your failure and with your veterinarian. And educating yourself and your horsemanship skills. So it's just a whole horse approach and it's a whole lifestyle approach. I take it very seriously because horses are my life. And I just keep trying to learn as much as I can. So that's what we're trying to do is encourage people to just seek out more information. You're never going to get it all right. You're never going to learn it all. You know, there will always be one horse that comes along that makes, oh my gosh, I had no idea. You know, or oh my gosh, I need to do something totally different for this one. So yeah, I feel like horses, I feel like sometimes when you're trying to solve an issue with a horse, it's sort of like an episode of House where, at first, we think it's lupus. But then it's not. And it might be just other thing. And then you circle all the way back around and it ends up being the thing you thought it was in the first place, but I think you're so right as far as not only did does have a horse feel a physically and things like diet and teeth and feet do contribute to things they're doing behaviorally. But I've recently learned through this navicular journey. That diet not only relates to how they ride and how they are mentally. But it's a huge factor in their feet as well. And I think a lot of this stuff seems like common sense like, yeah, of course, what we feed them counts. But in one of the Facebook groups I'm in that is really big on rehabbing horses with issues like laminitis and navicular. The first thing everyone recommends, someone will post on their will you look at my horse's feet, what do you guys think? How should I trim his feet? Should I put shoes, whatever? Everyone recommends diet change first, which is very odd because you would think, well, it's how his feet are shaped. I should change my failure or get different tools or different trimming approach, but they say the diet is really huge and changing the diet can help prevent self issues ranging from navicular laminitis, white line thrush and just overall growing a better foot for your horse. And speaking of diets, so as a performance horse trainer, do you have any specific diet guidelines you like to follow with your horses to keep.

"Going to be talking about today. Okay, so we've had Megan on the show before. She hit the scene doing, which is extreme cowboy racing. And she's been extremely successful in that area winning the reserve world championship in 2016 and she was a Calgary cowboy stampede champion in 2017. She's been all over the world teaching clinics and sort of lighting the horsemanship world on fire and she's going to talk with us today on lots of different topics, including the new age of horsemanship. Now, we're going to have an awesome if you're listening to the live show moment. When you put Megan's phone number into the notes here for me, we missed the last digit, so maybe oh my goodness. "Okay so now armed. With this information the police return to confront mega and listen to this. When they go back to megan's house talk to her again when she's walking around the house they see that she's walking kind of funny almost like there's something inside of our shoes pretty weird but i guess this case can only get weirder based on what's happened so far but anyway the police ask megan to take off her shoes and she does. An inside of her shoes was an ipod in a pair of brass knuckles. Now when asked about these items she tells the police if the ipod belonged to randall. And i just want to clear up what she's doing here. I think when the police came back she expected them the search the house and she's thinking they're not gonna ask me to take off my shoes. Y'all just hide the evidence in my and hide this incriminating evidence. I am a very smart criminal. They'll never catch onto this. Meanwhile the police do search the home which is probably what she was trying to avoid having them find the stuff and they also find a bloodied pair of denim shorts and a great tank top that was also covered in blood so with these discoveries. Obviously megan is taken to the police department. Because this is looking really bad for her at this point that megan reveals the love triangle. Between her david randall. And she doesn't stop there. She starts to spill the whole story and this is what she said. She said that on the night. That randall was murdered. Both of the guys had reached out to megan to try to make plans with her. During her conversation with david he told her about his plans to go to utah the next day and that he was considering staying there permanently and then living with his mom and he expressed that he was tired of megan jerking him around and he just wanted to start over and then as megan was suddenly faced with the very real possibility of actually losing david. She starts to panic. Wiest avery if she knew whether randall and meghan were officially together at this time if they had already broken up from what i understand they were already broken up. It was just this love triangle. And i guess she thought wouldn't leave her alone knowing randall. Randall around all she would have to say randall. The dud and yes random. I'd be heartbroken because the kind he loved her. But he's not gonna bud her he's not that's not who ramble it. He would would've left her along So now even though. Megan was toying with randall. As she decided she really wants to be with david now she suddenly was of the mindset that she would do anything to keep david from leaving her plan to compel david to stay was to try to make him jealous and use randall as a pawn. So when david asked to see meghan on his last night she says no and she says she's hanging out with randall. instead but according to meghan her plan backfired because david went from jealous to seething anger. Right and david at this point started threatening to kill randall in slowly his angry rants transformed into an actionable plan. Not only that. According to meghan. David was also going to demand that she participate in this mega man. Spouted off this bullshit story and told the police that she felt scared for her life which is why she ultimately folded and agreed to do this with abed. Megan then walked the police through what happened next. She left her house and she took her father's were truck without asking. She picked up david around the corner from his grandparents house and when he got in the car he had two blankets and a knife with him david hidden in the back seat and covered himself with a blanket so he wouldn't be seen. Megan then picked up randall under the pretense that they are going to one of her friends houses to drink and as randall sat in the front seat he had no idea that david was hiding right behind him. And once the truck with megan randall expressed interest in continuing their relationship and this is literally while she was setting up a trap to have him killed the whole thing. When you think about it is so heartbreaking and so disgusting you with such a nice guy why. Why would this be a solution ever for any teenage heartbreak. And i mean i know. Teenagers don't think clearly. But i mean i mean. Teenagers are stupid in many ways. The how does this week to the result at one point as they're driving. Megan passes the pulse in house. And she says there's david's house which unbeknownst to randall was the code word that megan and david had agreed upon once. He hears that. This prompts david to start stabbing grandma from the back seat. Spite randall. being stabbed more than twenty two times. He was able to get out of the truck. It was able to stumble out into the darkness trying to escape. Then these two. Psychopaths drove away leaving this poor helpless guy outside alone leading and scared the part. That really got to me. When i found out how he fought tried to get out of the car and he got out of the car and ran away to basically a ditch area where he eventually died. And that was the scene. I was driving on my way home to know that randall was there and what happened was just. It was real that this had happened to my friend. And how could this happen to this guy now. After all of this went down megan and david. It didn't actually have a plan when it comes to covering things up so megan's decision to tell the police that david the armed robbery stole the truck is a very hard choice to understand in our guests is that she immediately decided to turn on david and she was gonna try to ensure that he took the fall for all of this it kind of tracks with their behavior so far. But who knows after all though. Isn't david foolish to that girl. Who would agree to help him. Kill one of her boyfriends wouldn't turn on him a second. What did you expect. Dude i mean this is the kind of person who agreed to kill an innocent guy with you. She's not going to suddenly be the picture of moral perfection and as megan is telling the story she is working really hard to try to distance herself from being accountable for the crime as much as possible and despite that the police arrest her for murder additional searches other ice made and megan's phone and computer were also taken in for processing. Meanwhile us marshals are working to locate david in utah and law enforcement in apache junction. Still trying to locate megan's father's truck eventually they do. They found a convenience store close to the home of david's grandparents and when crime scene techs opened the vehicle there was blood. Everywhere was blood on the roof on the doors. The steering wheel everywhere unknown. Meanwhile the examination of megan's phone and computer revealed that she really was very much playing. Both david randall. In trying to antagonize them each with one another and she seemed to be enjoying upsetting both of them but beyond not. The police observed that megan and david had actually exchanged messages about killing randolph for some time which completely undermines story meghan told them. I had a feeling megan had something to do with it. I had no idea she was the mastermind of it. I had no idea that she would have been the one with the planning. The one thought was maybe meghan. did it. i thought begging. Maybe stabbed him. I didn't think. Megan was the mastermind manipulator.

When you think about it is so heartbreaking and so disgusting you would such a nice guy why. Why was this. be a solution ever for any teenage heartbreak. This prompts david to start stabbing granted from the back seat spite randall. Being stabbed more than twenty two times he was able to get out of the truck. It was able to stumble out into the darkness trying to escape. Then these two. Psychopaths drove away leaving this poor helpless guy outside alone leading and scared the part. That really got to me. When i found out how he fought tried to get out of the car and he got out of the car ran away to basically a ditch area where he eventually died. And that was the scene. I was driving on my way home to know that randall was there and what happened was just. It was real that this had happened to my friend. And how could this happen to this guy now. After all of this went down megan and david. It didn't actually have a plan when it comes to covering things up so megan's decision to tell the police that david the armed robbery stole the truck is a very hard choice to understand in our guest is that she immediately decided to turn on david and she was gonna try to ensure that he took the fall for all of this it kind of tracks with their behavior so far. But who knows after all though. Isn't david extremely foolish to that girl. Who would agree to help him. Kill one of her boyfriends wouldn't turn on him a second. What did you expect. Dude i mean this is the kind of person who agreed to kill an innocent guy with you. She's not going to suddenly be the picture of moral perfection and as megan is telling the story she is working really hard to try to distance herself from being accountable for the crime as much as possible and despite that the police arrest her for murder additional searches. Other ice homer made and megan's phone and computer were also taken in for processing. Meanwhile us marshals are working to locate david in utah and law enforcement in apache junction. Still trying to locate megan's father's truck. Eventually they do. They found a convenience store close to the home of david's grandparents. When crime scene techs opened the vehicle there was blood. everywhere was blood on the roof on the doors. The steering wheel everywhere unknown. Meanwhile the examination of megan's phone and computer revealed that she really was very much playing. Both david randall. In trying to antagonize them each with one another and she seemed to be enjoying upsetting both of them but beyond not. The police observed that megan and david had actually exchanged messages about killing randolph for some time which completely.

"Help except she didn't die right away even after stabbing herself in the stomach Tony says she got up walked around went to the bathroom and drank a family sized bottle of Benadryl. The toxicology report says, otherwise, she had a little less than an ounce of Benadryl in her system. Then she stabbed herself again in the liver, but somehow this big guy wasn't able to get the knife away from her or even carry over to the neighbor's house so he didn't have to leave. Her alone. But Tony Rights more. He says, she was begging him to kill her because she was in pain but he says, he couldn't do it. He tried CPR on her even though he said he'd have to apologize to her later for trying to keep her alive despite her request to be with her baby's still he says he tried CPR until I physically couldn't anymore again with his family laying dead around him. Did Tony now go for help did he go to the? Condo and get his van and drive to the police station. No, he put their bodies altogether in the master bedroom. Then he says he tried to commit suicide several times, but he sucked at it. A gun was found in the bedroom with the bodies as well as two knives used in the murders. What's horrible isn't this letter probably has some truth in it. Probably a lot of truth just different people actually committing the crime when his sister and other relatives hadn't heard from. Him In weeks they'd wondered if they'd gone on the run knowing they were facing a federal investigation into Medicaid fraud a situation Tony also blames on his wife saying when he looked back into his records, he saw that she was the bookkeeper and she was reason the rent had been paid on their Florida House. In fact, Tony blamed all his troubles on his late wife with the letter does not say is how poor breezy the family dog was killed he doesn't mention breezy at all even though the dog was found in the bedroom with the rest of the bodies, we do know that. The murders likely happened sometime before December twenty ninth. That's the day. The police dropped by for a wellness check at the request of a family member who hadn't heard from the family for a while. Tony. told her they were down with the flu and she was concerned they might need help. But when the deputy knocked, he got no answer and the blinds were shut tight. The last known communication from the family was through text messages on January sixth from Anthony and Megan's phones texts. He sent to keep the bodies from being discovered police check the Condo in house again on January ten and eleven. And saw the eviction notices but got no answer to their knock finally on January thirteenth, they say Tony Walked into the House and left the door unlocked behind him. So federal agents opened it to serve the warrant when they smelled the tell tale odor, they called local police who came back with a search warrant that same day Tony worked up the courage to try suicide again or so he said he told officers he. Taken a lethal dose of Benadryl and he was taken to the hospital where he confessed to the killings. But today Tony insists he doesn't remember anything at all certainly not a confession and that lethal dose he said he.

"Are you off the hot seat there? Okay where he can really get interactive. We reviewed a lot of the major things that happened in house of delegates. You can get really interactive. Start asking questions the comments below. We already see some of them up there that I'm GonNa. Bring in and we're GONNA start. Start with really How can someone get more involved? I think this person I think you're familiar I think I. Know Her. Yeah, so hey, USTA asks hey. Dr Covington Smiley face. Do you have advice for new grads who have been involved in house of delegates, students and want to run for delegate early on you? Don't you don't have to wait. If you WANNA, get involved. Please do and especially if they're moving to a new state, so you Sarah One of your students at Duke University, Director Communications for the a PTA student student section deputy. if she she's got this these routes in north. Carolina what she's asking specifically not just had to get involved. How do I get involved what I'm going to a new place where they might not know me yeah I, think you know the great thing about physical therapist as we. We Love New Grad Students, so I think that the first step is showing up or sending. Sending an email or Megan? Phone Call you know you find out who the leaders are in your chapter wherever you're going, and you just show up or give a call I cannot imagine a situation where a new a new person to the state, a new professional or a student would call chapter leader and say hey. I'm interested. I WANNA. Get involved in and you not. Hear anything or be support I'd do that I think specifically to the House of delegates you know different states elect delegates, differently terms, or different or the way they're. With that now like some done states, you're just there for your one year term. Some states is two year term. Some states have term limits, so it's different from state to state some states have positions for early professionals? Some states don't, but but no matter whether you can get elected or not right out of graduation I would say Sit, in with delegates like sitting on their meetings, show up talk here. The issues learn about the issues. Ask questions find a delegate who can be a mentor and explain things to you That's GONNA. Make you a better prepared delegate whenever you do get elected, and you will get elected and and just just be involved in show up and also realize that that. That maybe you don't get elected the first couple of times, but there's another job for you, and and that helps you be engaged and be informed so when you do get to the house of delegates I would also say that some states not all states have an assembly which means that on a state level. They have sort of a house of delegates at a state level. So Texas Florida Massachusetts Illinois in California a might be leaving another one out another way great to get involved in this kind of process on the state level. Show up, plow through. Keep showing up so so we talked about this a few times, but I really wanted to actually throw this to you to give you a chance to talk about it. Specifically I like you hinted at it in a few. The things talked about earlier. Why should you care about the TA and? And delegates like why should you focus? I think we touched on this just a little bit, but you can specific now. Yeah, I mean I think we have to test on a little bit, but but that house of delegates in abt government switches the board in the house and all the work being done by the organization..

"Basically just gave him like a fake blackberry. That had like brick breaker on it. And that's it because he he wasn't able to texts for the security of the nation. Yeah Yeah like Why remember in scandal when like Olivia? Pope had to give up her phone and stuff so I just like assumed it was the same with the British royalty but it seems like they do have phones to like Tex maybe within the family but I just think that. That's so risky clearly. It is because their text messages. Were leaks so there you go. Yeah and like. I don't know it's probably boring. Shit that they're getting off of Harried Megan's phones but like you should tap into some other members of the Royal Family saying the other Royal Family News that has come out of the pandemic other than Charles Contracting current which if there's one royal family member who speaks mostly I'm telling you Prince Charles is the candidate. That's literally disgusting link at Chill ran down my spine like Oh my God. Yeah I know I know. But he's fully recovered. I've honestly probably thriving. Camila released like a book list. Richard I'm reading during the pandemic and honestly it was good. What does she reading? Remember the top of my head okay. I'M GONNA look this up okay. We'll look up everyone after this podcast is over. Look Up Camilla or listen. If you're listening to this podcast you can look it up during the podcast. Yeah yes we don't have the technologies keep abilities to book last. I'm going to say what's on the Camilla Book List Probably like twilight probably like what's what's the hip book of today. Nothing there's can time published. Mike that's actually something that I promise myself to do is get into books while I'm in a pandemic but you literally just said like Oh Camilla's like book recommendations. We're actually amazing leading us to believe that you were cultured in literature. And you're just saying that you don't read anything. What what's you read a long instagram story from the notes APP? Yes why is it? Good is because none of it recent right not that it was like fucking like weathering heights or something like that but it was like stuff from like maybe five to ten years ago. Tory with the weathering heights referenced. Thanks thanks but like yeah. It's because it wasn't anything. Recent reading anything recent. No but did I used to like books very much. So but yeah the longest thing I've read is like a tick Tock Caption yeah or the subtitles on my Spanish. Telenovela right. That's it so yeah Charles Survived Krona congrats more importantly the Kensington Royal Family. Kate Will Louis Charlotte. The last one is George. How dare you forget? Drinking of England George is then knowing one. Well I think he's just like Shyer than the other two. Probably because like since he has been a small child people have been like you are the future king and everything you say will be scrutinized and now he has a you know early childhood anxiety mood. I think I think Charlotte is the real star of that recently. It was her birthday. And she was handing out food to lake the underprivileged she was handing out food to the peasants that rules over one hundred percent one hundred percent and like. That's like a good luck. It was very cute. She was like going door to door and like the hoses looked like they did. In the movies. There's little brick houses with like would yeah. I thought that was good. Press for a recently seen clapping for healthcare workers. Her Louis Has George. We're all doing that when we have differing opinions on. I think yeah you liked. It was fine because guess what here first of all I received a text from and some others other other friends that they hated this they were so tacky and I to remind them that these people are children. Children that to argue. Tbb comes were now. Yeah series you are not safe no yeah. I didn't think it was tacky. I just thought it was weird that they like added. I think they added like kind of like sentimental music. And I like didn't love that a pause. It's just weird because for me. Clapping at seven pm for our healthcare workers and other essential workers when you can hear other people and like like. I'm standing on my balcony looking over the next building and everyone standing on the balcony and staff and the church bells are going off. And I'm banging my pod and stuff like that and it's like there's this sense of togetherness in community. I just picture them with a single photographer. Butler with his fucking iphone. Ten or whatever standing in the middle of a field in front of their front door or whichever door. It's probably not the front door because it looked like a normal door the front door of Kensington Palace public very re Gal and they just walk out and clap. But it's like it's like an empty field. I don't know the sentiment was nice. The B. T. S. I think was not great. Can I put to you this way though? Do you think that them clapping on film and then being put on instagram has reached more healthcare workers than you banging on your balcony because you live near a hospital? Can they hear you? Wow Okay so if a healthcare worker is at home I feel like they're asleep. They're getting some deserve stressed in and the last thing they wanna hear is a frigging pots and pans. Being banged around neighborhood fair. Yeah they're like. I just got an often. Nate shift and rest rest family members that are healthcare workers. You should ask them how they feel about the pants. Yeah yeah well often. They like when they're not working are engaging in it so they're banging possible. Yeah yeah leaning out their windows and stuff like that so we were driving off the highway and right on like be like one of the ramps off the highway. There were a bunch of people lined up banging pots and pans and like one woman was shaking like a tambourine. Not just on the side of the route. Good for them. Yeah I love that for them. I'll stay I'll stay here. Yeah I don't know I don't know why like rubbed me the wrong way but for some reason it did. I like twin. George looked back to see if Charlotte and we were doing that. No Louis did that to his older. St Louis Okay Okay. He was just checking in to see if it was like a prank. We'd love Prince Louis on this on this podcast. We love this Louis. We love his like hand painting instagram out. Yes I'm really torn. Whether Princess Charlotte is my favorite or Prince. Louis Down my favorite. I THINK CHARLOTTE IS I. Love Wind like stuck her tongue out at people like that. That was the thing though is that I feel like Prince George's the one that has the responsibility of taking over the monarchy. Now Princess Charlotte is. She can get away with being like the night. The Wild Child of the Family Prince Louis has zero responsibility when Prince Louis is going to be older. Zero people are going to be interested in him and I think that's what I like about it. He'll be the beach in Eugenie. Royal Family like the Queen Has Prince Charles Princess Anne. The one that we don't speak about anymore because he was involved with Jeffrey Epstein. And then you know. She has a fourth child that no one knows about. No one is checking for this guy. No one knows about him. No one cares about him. That's the sweet spot. That's what you WanNa be your where you get all of the benefits of being royal but none of the The pressure I also was just so surprised seeing those pictures of Lee on their instagram. That was like he's like a child now like I feel like we saw him as a baby like a baby baby and then it was like. Oh my God. He's like a toddler. Do you think that the Kensington Fam- feels some type of satisfaction? That because okay here. Here's my thought process. Megan Harry shut down their instagram account. The Cambridge family which is their proper name. I think they're Kensington royals or something like that on instagram. The Cambridge family spent years on their instagram. And then Harry and Meghan came and surpassed their followers in like one day right but then they had to shut down that account or star calved because they can't use Sussex royal anymore him. Do you think that the Cambridge family has some type of sweet satisfaction they won? Why do you think there was the rule that they had to shut? Down that instagram. Do you think came from William and Kate's instagram people. Absolutely maybe not directly. Maybe they whispered in the the years of some lowly servant who passed we. I don't know why still picture that they live in like the eighteen hundred for like I just like couldn't come directly from them because I'd be too obvious. So they like planted seeds of of the idea to different people and then got shutdown. Also it's like do you think moving forward like I don't think Megan and Harry releasing photos of Archie. Not Think they're keeping that under wraps in a big way and it's like if you WanNa see an actual royal family. That's like how they're growing up that those are the people you have to go with will and Kate and the kids. You have to go with them because Megan and Harry aren't GonNa give you anything anymore other than nature documentary narration. Yeah and they're like upcoming thing on Netflix with the Obama family. I think we're like Oprah or something I have no idea who gets more of a splash than the elephant one just we gain of celebrities in general during the pandemic. It's been like not seen people like come up with a second like side hustle or like a a different plan than just like being famous way to stay relevant right. Yeah like a way to continue to have people care about that even though they're doing nothing because these Hollywood people like they can't film anything like there's nothing unless you have already completed all the filming on something and it's in the tank and ready to be released. Which like they're just burning through things to be released like things every single day. Now unless you have that you're not filming anything new so yeah can't stay relevant. Yeah so you have to go on. Instagram lives not as the only solution. How many celebrities are you know what? I think? This is a good thing about if you follow too celebrities your to get to your actual instagram stories. You have to scroll through like fifty pages. Graham lives I think that's the sign that you follow too many celebrities. Oh it's painful because he no I do you know that's me every fucking morning. What's the worst? What's the worst celebrity like attempt at at an contributing to contributing to like content culture? Have you just seen not the Cast reunions to cut together to watch something that they made ages ago. I think that's the real sign weather. Your show is beloved or not is an people care about that because there's so many and like some really take off like parks and REC coming back. A cast reunion for that special slough lap super huge the cast of the nine to one. Oh reboot coming together to watch the first steps. No absolutely not. No I know I think like another thing though is like even just the fact that you are reuniting on zoom in a pandemic shows that lake maybe your show was not it like if you didn't have like a full production ten year retrospective on like NBC. Like was it. Was it good. I don't know heartache. Take but like if you're meeting and you're like skyping in from your like Malibu Balcony on on your reunion. Show six years after finished lake at no. That's just not it. I think it's because people people clamor for some shows to be reunited. People have been asking for friends reunion for since the dawn of time like I think some celebrities look at that because they don't have any perception of how they're actually whether their beloved in Hollywood or not and they're like Oh people wanNA friends reunion all reboot my like. I'll reunite with the cast of. I don't know can't I'm Wendy Hill? Jau Marina del. Yeah it was like not not it. I.

"Here we go quotes time now this is it looks like this is one tax that hairy penned on Megan's phone back in may after Thomas that's her father allegedly apologized and confirmed he would not be attending the wedding via text and then didn't answer a bunch of phone calls so then week cruddy it Mika crater St I almost at a ninety role Ross this little he says the following Tom it's hairy and I'm gonna call you right now please pick up thank you Tom here again really need to speak to you you do not need to apologize we understand the circumstances but quote going public will only make the situation worse if you love Meghan and want to make it right please call me as there are two other options which don't involve you having to speak to the media who incidentally created this whole situation so please call me so I can explain what I don't know what those two are thank you so again just the the part of me that's totally mature I'm I'm enjoying these few things times so please call me again Meghan I are not angry we just need to speak to you thanks any speaking to the press will backfire trust me Tom only we can help you as we've been trying from day one okay I find that to be incredibly fascinating right right it's just like from a human interest and when's the next time you're gonna see a royal private tax okay probably never but what does this mean what does this say because I think what it's intended to show the audience that is the public is that they really that Harry and Meghan were trying to do the right thing and you know give Thomas some appropriate adults mature ways to handle the situation right right like that seemingly on the face of things what these tax would you know I indicate look at their private tax it looks like they're just trying to do the right thing however what are we now nothing is real and everyone smokes and also they lie and they lack and we were ten foil hats therefore into because do you kind of feel like they knew at some point these tech like not that they knew these tax would be released but there just seems to be something very intentional about the the like sure they could mean what they say and they really were just trying to do the right thing or they could be trying to manipulate him well here's the thing like you know good and well that at least on the royal side it wasn't just the two of them having a conversation with Thomas Markle no no there was a staff involved in every single one of those tax it wasn't just Meghan and Harry sitting on the Davenport you know a piece of furniture like that's a fancy couch like a shows yes it's a couch okay it's just a fancy couch that Royle said we don't have a Davenport at my house because we were not fancy but there it's not just the two of them sitting on the Davenport like sipping Sauvignon whatever and like you know texting back and forth with Daddy that's not what's happening yeah this is a calculated yeah efforts right and so those two other options are not options that Meghan and Harry were like we should offer him some alternate possibilities no that was some staffers that was like so and here's the other piece of this that I think about I think that part of being a royal pardon what here he was raised in was always assuming that anything could be made public at any given time yeah right so cover your booty and this is the thing that clearly as we've seen play out Thomas Markle was not raised in now and it just makes me think these tax now take me back to that time when we were saying things like you know they are just trying to what did you just say how did you put it on they they really were just trying to play the game and he doesn't know how to play the game master they're doing all these things like we're only doing this for your benefit meanwhile there like the queen is on us we need to lock this do down and also later on there's a tech axed from Meghan after he has a heart attack hello now listen to this so this again just makes me think they're trying to like control the thing more than they care about the thing right I mean because obviously she loves her dad I'm sure but on some level so after he has "Members? Recruited from an early age taken out in our prime. It's a funeral wants to be one one day. Oh, a cast member. Yeah. Got it human. I wanna be human. So you'll get there one day. Maybe you'll be a real boy. And so you would actually speak to cast member. And make dining reservations. In fact. This was apparently the only way you could make dining reservations back then. So there you go that's the early early incarnation it so the running mass went to use bay could get those. Yeah. You have to go. Yeah. Go there. So it was really a guest relations, except there were no real life people there, you would speak to them through the kiosks. And that's I don't know that just sounds super cool. I wish I could see that. I wish I could see a video of it probably went out there. I just haven't looked hard enough. Okay. So if we find it it'll be pen to our petrous like for a ride through pavilion. Thank you, Amy in nineteen Eighty-six the attraction reopened this time with Walter Cronkite of famed Inkerman and journalists Walter Cronkite. He's the narrator now, AT and tear the sponsors. And let's see I've got a little sample of this. They introduced a song called tomorrow's child. People like the song. So tomorrow's child became the song that that you experience as you were. Ending the attraction is you're kind of backing out there after they turn your vehicle around. Otherwise, I think it was largely unchanged until nineteen ninety four. It went down for a major refurbishment and win the attraction reopened germy irons aka scar. From the Lanqing was the narrator, and it had a new score kind of an orchestra score orchestral, I should say, and then a couple of changes the computer scenes, we were talking about how the kid had a computer screen or a computer in his room and somebody headed office, and there was a net ops kind of headquarters now the computer scenes were replaced with what appears to be an American kid and a in a Japanese kid and they're communicating through a screen other receive video chatting, and they're actually passing some kind of files between. And it's cool. You think this is nineteen ninety four and they are now like looking at the possibility of the future in the communications field. And this was something that, you know. Yeah, we'd all experienced a O L, and we all you know, were starting to get on the internet in nineteen ninety four. But this was this was quite a I think we'll Boyd have made this cool writing through is the fact that it it took you like an hour to download like one little space ghost or friends audio clip on a oh, Al to key like an hour back then. And so these kids are going. Hey, you wanna see whatever you can't really tell. And you know, he's like yes ended over and boom it's there. I bet that would have been pretty amazing to think about and to imagine. And then for the first several years of the internet getting things that quick was pretty amazing. And here's what strikes me about. This version is that we've gone from this kind of Megan phone like shouting at people with information the way, we talked about information besides the telephone telegraph. It was not the back and forth. You know, it really was by by the end of of of this attraction in the earlier incarnation. We really saw how communication in. How information is blasted at us. Now, we really do see. And there's as you know, hats off to Disney. Here's this realization that we are entering into this one on one this peer to peer kind of information sharing and you see that through the whole, right? Even when you come back around when you're descending in the descent all of those kind of just random video pieces in screens going off. Now, it's been replaced with people actually communicating in their sharing life moments with each other through. Through these video chats and through the you know, these telecommunications, I think that is that's really forward thinking because that's really where we're now and one notable one is that was a child asking a doctor. How is my baby is is my is my baby, brother. All right. Yeah. And the doctor goes your baby sister is just fine. Which is just a I mean, it's just I don't know. What are you gonna complain about that I'm not complaining about it? I'm just saying it's a odd thing prize your baby sisters, just fine. But why it's just a weird? I don't know. You guys agree with me? Right. That's a weird thing. Yeah. I like why would a child be asking the doctor about his baby brother, and the doctors the one telling him that he has a baby sister on. Kid's gonna call a doctor to check on his newborn sibling all is. Well, Amy while you're in complaining pants mode. You'll be glad to know that tomorrow's child was nixed. I know I know. That was nixed of from the right child gets Merle. I could smell shell. Okay. It sounds like it could have been a little bit of an influence on on. Even the theme song to this podcast further. Insight into how you are a special man, I think you think you in so earth station as we talked about before with the world keen in kind of the orient to Epcot future world that whole post show is now been replaced by global neighborhood. And there there are different games in kiosks in interactive experiences there there's one called interactive wonderland in the Cheshire cat takes you into the future of television. I wish I could have been there for them. Yeah. With voice commands voice. I mean, this is exactly what we do. This was nineteen Eighty-four. And here we are when he now twenty five years later, and we're doing this. Now, we're telling we're saying, hey, Google or Alexa. I think our Google just woke up. But you know, we say, you know, we're we're like Hegel and in you know, we. Pause. The television turn turn on the lights. And it actually does it. And so, but but we do that with our media. That's that's what I find really interesting about this. You know, you know, when you I I know that television networks and in media outlets. They were very hard to like for your Comcast remote. You know, when you can talk to your Comcast Ramon just turned turn to this channel. And he say the name of the network, they work very hard to get that voice. Command to be recognizable. So it'll be usable to people in here. We are twenty five years earlier just doing exactly that with television dipping our toes in that. Yeah. Yeah. There was something called you don't say, and it had to do with how you can translate word for word through a I, but but then it's like when you do an idiom like an idiomatic saying the translation gets lost. You can you can. So I guess. There was I don't know. I don't know too much about it that I'm imagining it had some kind of funny outcomes, you know, when you try to throw in some American slang, or whatever and try to have come out Mandarin or whatever say something and who Larry. That's the promise communication breakthrough. Basically it's like a breakout paddle game. But apparently you played with somebody else who was across the room, and you guys could still see in here each other so virtual paddle. It was basically call of duty and break breakout. Combined which I just sounds thrilling storyteller phone it was like without sound affects to your phone call. I guess man. Make you sound like you are somewhere else. That's fun. And then something all wish we had grade. That's right there. Just doing all the. Coughing. And then there's something called ride the AT and T network, which is basically you could get on this little platform that would rock back and forth and make you feel like you were traveling through fiber optic cables. What do you think about that?

"The monkeys. They're not in the studio with us. But I'm sitting here with Dr Lon. Solomon who's familiar with the monkeys? In the sixties. All right. So we're talking about you are part of your life. You're you're you're you're now big into drugs you trying to figure out the meaning of life. You're going to be drafted potentially. Right. And. As you're trying to figure this out. What happens? Well, you know, you hit the nail so square on the head about the drug culture in the late sixties. You know, we there really were a lot of us who were looking for meaning and purpose in our life through the spirituality. We thought that came by drugs and the Beatles led by them. So I was one of them. I wasn't doing it just to feel good. I mean, I was really trying to find out what life was all about. So back to the story. I'm a senior in Chapel Hill. Actually, I'm doing a fifth year. I'm doing like a victory lap. You know because. Didn't get everything done in the four years because I was doing too much dope. Like red shirted for the basketball time. We've never going figure that out. Okay. No. So anyway, I'm twenty one years old. And I kept thinking that destroyed culture drop in LSD and doing all this stuff was going to enlighten me and helped me figure out my life. And it didn't it really got to the point. Honestly, where I had to stop using acid 'cause I had so many bad trips. I mean, it was a bad dark time in my life. Yeah. People don't realize. I mean, I never dropped acid in my not that I had many opportunities. But I it scared the hell out of me, the idea of putting that stuff in your system that you do not know where you I mean when people talk about bad trips. This is no this is really making nightmare. You're seeing the young men's in whatever it is. It's horrible stuff. And I did see demons which is why I'm so against the Colt now in any form. But but you were you, right. Once you drop the acid, you have no idea where you're going. That night. And and so I started going to some really bad places. And Finally, I remember I was tricked out unless the we used to drop LSD five five times a week. Yeah. I can't believe you're able to talk. Well, you know, there's a little mantra from our life. And it goes like this. If a little is good and more is better than way too much is just about right? Yeah. And so that's me. That's crazy. Has had a lot of mercy. You. Has. So we were sitting downtown my good friend, and I about to clock in the morning Chapel Hill, and I remember saying to him, you know, David I said, you know, we're dropping all this and doing all this stuff, and we should be getting better. You know, we should be getting more loving more kind. I said, but I kind of feel like I'm getting worse. And he said something to me. I'm sure he didn't understand the impact at the time. He said, you know lawn. Maybe you're not getting worse. Maybe you just getting more honest about what you've always been an odd that shook me because I believed that was true. And so, you know, acid peeled away. All of that stuff. I had about I'm a nice person. I wasn't a nice person. I'm a good. I wasn't a good guy. I was sociopathic. I was pathological. So I stopped using dope. At that point said, you know, dopes not gonna get me there. So I said Easter religions that was the Beatles. Let me try that. So I got into reading all these books on. Buddhism and zen Buddhism. I go out and sit in the woods all morning when my legs crossed, you know. And I tried to be a Hari Krishna. You know, you're not kidding. No, I tried. But I had two problems one is a couldn't grow ponytail. My hair doesn't grow long it grows out. A big afro. The problem was I hated their food. I would've starved to death. If I'd have been a Hari Krishna what kind of food. They have had a lot of butter in it. I hate butter. You hate butter. How would make an awesome, Harry Krishna? Would you would maybe maybe so I quit that and the eastern religion one getting me anywhere. So then I thought well, I tried a couple of other things. And then I decided, you know, what I went to see this guy on campus, you know, who was a spiritualist and all this nonsense. Then I thought well, my ace in the hole is go back to Judaism. So I went to see the campus rabbi there in Chapel Hill. And I went in. I got a picture me. I've got an afro out to my shoulders. Most people thought I was high yellow they thought I was black. So I think it's the first time in the history of this program that somebody has used that wonderful term high. Yeah, I can't believe you just said that. Well, that's what they thought. Also, you should see my afro you had the biggest afro there was in Chapel Hill at the time the biggest all right, and it was beautiful, man. But anyway, and so I had loved love beads on bell-bottoms motorcycle, boots a little goatee stunk. I mean, I was a mess and I went in sat down in his office. And I said, you know, I said, I think God wants me to be a rabbi, and he said, no. I. Unloaded on him. All this emptiness that was inside. And I said what do I do? And he didn't even know Eric when I was talking about it just went shred over top of his head. So I left they are. Now, I'm depressed because now I've gone back to figure my as in the hole, and he didn't know what the heck's going. Yeah. So long story short. I was really ready to take my life. 'cause I thought why grow up have kids become a grandfather, go to Vietnam do all this stuff. And I don't even know what I'm doing here. This is crazy. But I was a good procrastinator and I procrastinated killing myself, but I was planning to get around to it. And then my whole life changed one day in the spring of one thousand nine hundred seventy one I was downtown Chapel Hill, and it was the street preacher named Bob Eckhardt who drove into town with this econoline white van they had scripture written all over it. He had these two Megan phones, you gotta pick one of those religious nuts. Crazy you avoid those people raises. Yeah. Yeah. Crazy guy, and he'd been there a couple of weekends. He would only come on sale. And I didn't want get near the guy. But my dog got into a dogfight right in front of him. I had this big German shepherd named Noah, and he was malling this little dog in front of you serious serious. Wait ninety pounds is poor little so they know away ninety pounds. Yeah. So the crazy man was trying to help me. Get Noelle off of killer. Crazy religious guy was trying to help you pull the dogs apart. Yeah. Exactly. And so when we got done I looked at him in the eyes. And I what do you say to the craziest man in the world. I said a high and he goes Hello. And I said, thanks for your help gotta go. And he goes, okay. By an off our win twenty seconds at the most. But Eric, I wanna tell you something when I looked in his eyes. I knew this man had what I was looking for you say, how do you know that? I can't explain it. I think it was the Holy Spirit just shining through him. But I knew okay, whatever I'm looking for. This guy's got it. It sounds like good news and bad news. Right. Well, yeah. Because back. This crazy man, avoid the only problem is because the dog issue you had this moment where you look in his eyes. And somehow you knew I knew this is it I knew so I went back. I would pass him for a couple of weeks. I didn't have the courage to go to him. And I would take his tracks. He would hand out tracts. I feel bad for the guy people cursed adding spit at him through his tracks back I feel bad for the poor guy. And then Finally, I got up the courage, and I said I'm gonna go see him saw went downtown to Chapel Hill, which was only two blocks in those days on Franklin street. And I said, you know, I walked up to him. And I said I need to talk to you. And he said, well, how about three o'clock this afternoon now, I didn't expect that, you know, it's kind of like when you see somebody in the lobby at church, and you say, hey, we should have the old for dinner, Tom sometime, and they go, okay. How about today? You don't mean today? I didn't want to see him today. So he scared me. So I lied, and I said, no, no, no, I've got something to do this afternoon. He said be here. Three o'clock. I said, no, I got total. I was a hippie have to do at three o'clock on the Sabbath. So so I lied, and I said maybe next week, and I started walking down the strange beautiful spring day all these colleges he cups his hands around his mouth and he screams at me, you may not be here next week. And I'm like oh God. Oh god. I don't want people to know. He's talking to me so hard cut down the block and duck behind the building at the end of the block in just leaned up against won't sit. Oh god. That was one of the worst experiences of my life. He embarrassed you he accept what he said was unfortunately, true it rang. And so that week a now remember, I don't know how to get in touch with him. I don't have a phone number. So that week I didn't walk under ladders. I look both ways for across the street. You know, I threw salt over my shoulder, if I spilled it, so he got you thought this guy a prophecy that I wasn't gonna live right? All the week. Right. So he comes into town the next week next Saturday. God bless him. He was there. He was every Saturday. Okay. And I got up at the crack of dawn, which in those days was around ten thirty. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And so I went downstairs, and I said because you I have just lived the worst week in my entire life. And he's like what did I do? I'm like, okay. Forget it. It doesn't matter. I said there's gotta be a sales pitch that goes with this stuff. You do. Right, right. I'm ready. Tell me the sales pitch, right? And he started telling me about Jesus. And and I stood there. Two hours was like, my soul was withdraws sponge. And he told me I mean, you know, I was Jewish, but I didn't know any of this stuff. Jewish people don't have bibles in their home. Well, most gentiles don't know any of this stuff either. We're going to be right back, Dr Lon. Solomon, even go to Lon Solomon, ministries dot com. This is the Metaxas show..

"You can forgive you. And I think he when he said he wasn't going to do the Oscars anymore. He also apologized at that time again. So I don't I don't know. Like, I I do think his tone was weird like during the interview because it was he started making more about like people were trying to attack him, and it was all about a an attack on him and not the issues. So I I get both. I get your point what she's trying to say as well. But it's just funny that she incredibly layered though, because it's the I know comedians that when they were younger had bits Megan phone, a homeless people, and then as they got older and had more experience in life realize like, oh, we're all like like one bad decision away from being that right because but when they started doing stand up at twenty the you don't understand that your what did it? What would you do that? Don't be you know, right. So being hailed for that that growth and then. Apologizing. But they also we're it's a weird. What it is is it's to business people having a conference, right. And it's a weird. It's not about art. And it's not about any of these issues. It's about money at this weird point when you put him on the spot to do these things. Right. I think it's a it's a weird power dynamic more than anything else. Yeah. That's what I that's what I was most. I found most notable about the conversation was like wasn't clear what they had agreed to ahead of time. But it did seem like she was just like. Yeah. Well, here's where we're leaving. It you should do the Askar's. And it's on you. Producer next month. Just asked what's in it for her in? I don't know. I mean other than. Other than that people are happened on her show. And I think other some people were saying that they wanted her to hosts in because he wasn't hosting. So maybe she wants to take her name out of our I don't know or she's trying to speak for the entire LGBTQ community is by being Alan. But I know people who are in like the black community who are like, why don't you apologize to black queer people too? Because a lot of his comedy is like, you know, is entrenched in sort of culturally, this idea of being home. I don't know. I I have to see the whole thing. But it seemed like everyone's gonna tough spot. Yeah. Ellen came out when it wasn't cool in did a lot of grandiose things for a lot of and made a lot of strives for people that didn't want her to, but she bettered everyone else's lives for it. There's probably an ego there that she has that's earned or unarmed varies like listen. This is getting out of hand. And Brett, and I'm sure like some of the attacks Kevin Hart, or whatever or get weird impersonal. Right. Where it's this like listen that was ten fifteen years ago. It was idiot kid read talking about this bravado. Look at me on five foot, whatever I have to die in this isn't act, right. And then people taking what he said in taking it on their own thing and making it about their agenda in then he's a lightning rod which comes with the territory of being that big and famous rate. So that's another thing. We're talking about is too large entities heaven, a sit down conversation deciding what's good for culture, which is a weird thing that it's two giant egos, which is a weird thing to do. When they're speaking for so many millions of people, I just. It's very it's a strange. It's just strange and also the Oscars are strange where it's like it's clear that acting is an art form in its craft in these people care about it deeply, but they're also he'd go maniac. So they want everyone in the country to care about these art films that they don't give a fuck about. Right. And then regularly we should put popular films in there. So we were we were them. No, they already have a reward. They made billions of dollars. Yeah. Dockers still don't have a host. I'm available it for here. They go have you and Jamie Loftus doing great thirty minutes long, and they pulled the plug. It's just a power move. I don't know..

"But it is here as well. Our government affairs director because Robbie brought up an interesting point Thad. What about the great work? We're doing it Israel, but to about how our work has long tickles. I would say is that work that we did. Pay for sleigh. Jordan. We were right in the middle of all of those debates, and they were informed by our work on the ground with the Jerusalem embassy. But look our strategy goes so much beyond just the Israel space. You you read the comment from Laverne just a minute ago that said we are a Megan phone from her. And then we get results where all we can do is complain and Jordan I love hearing that because our entire strategy in Washington DC and around the globe is being that nexus for people. We will be present where others cannot be present. But they want their voice heard, and we will not just speak for ourselves. We will.
