Bitcoin at $1,000,000 in 90 Days? The Insane Bet by Balaji Srinivasan
"Bitcoin to $1 million in 90 days? That's what the former CTO of coinbase thinks and more than a few people are taking him seriously. All right Friends, welcome back to another Bitcoin breakdown bite. We are talking about obviously the same thing that everyone is talking about, which, as it turns out, might be the point. That is biology, srinivasan, the former CTO of coinbase, and generally highly regarded if out there sometimes thinker, he has predicted that Bitcoin will go to $1 million inside the next 90 days, largely because of societal collapse on the back of the banking system. So McKenna here sums this up, biology thinks, most banks are insolvent in the U.S., Bitcoin goes to 1 million 90 days, hyperinflation is imminent, converted 99% of net worth to Bitcoin, U.S. Civil War happens, effing wild. All right, so we obviously today are going to get into what exactly biology is talking about and then all the responses and I'll give you a little bit of my take at the end of it. So, a few days ago, biology put up this tweet called the bit signal. He says, how do you ring the fire alarm on the Internet? How do you show it's not a false alarm? I'm putting up the bit signal. Now, this first version of this tweeter, this first tweet was basically a request for people to share the best charts, graphs, statistics that show effectively how screw the current financial system is, the type of thing that biology argues you wouldn't get from normal mainstream media and he was going to give a $1000 in Bitcoin for the best thousand tweets. He is arguing here that the existing system, the central bankers, et cetera, have hid insolvency from us and they're about to print a huge amount of money in order to save themselves from that. And so Bitcoin is likely to be the recipient, but more than just Bitcoin, it's about the underlying story. So that went up on March 16th. Then the next day, on March 17th, someone says, I'll bet anyone $1 million that the U.S. does not enter hyperinflation. James medlock is a neoliberal guy or whatever, I guess he says social Democrat in the streets, market socialists in the sheets. And so he has this bet on Twitter and biology says I will take that bet. You buy one Bitcoin, I will send 1 million USD odds 40 to one odds as Bitcoin is worth about 26 term is 90 days. Blah, blah, blah, blah, and all the terms and stuff. And this just set the Internet on fire.

"Twenty three points a game in college when i was in johnston smith so you know. I was known as the score. You know shula more so than the dribble. When i came out of college and you were also very good because i remember a couple of games that i saw you. You could make them a one after another from beyond half court and that's not something somebody can do. Did you have a feel for that. I mean what was it that allows you to develop that capability run. I just didn't like the myth and The more i practiced in the mall. I got better. You know as i tell the young kids now to the elementary and middle schools can be the best. Just go out and practicing You're perfect on at shooting and dribbling and so forth but just practice you know shooting so many shots a day and just became a part of me and then come game time and you know seven eight when no no problem. You mentioned about your mom. And she was a house made. Your dad was a railroad worker. But i'm just wondering what your mother thought about this. Because most mothers i- would think would want their sons to go get an education which did do But i would think that they would think the playing basketball for a living would be folly. "Hello and welcome back to raising christian kids. What makes a good christian picture book you know. I'm an author of seven award winning best selling christian children's picture books. I saw most of my books through my website conferences bookstores and word of mouth. I'm not big on amazon or christian. Books dot com. I probably should be more involved with amazon. But when i started selling my books amazon. Discount two point if there was not much revenue left for me to produce more products. And i was highly against putting mom and pop bookstores out of business. And i still am. My books are in most christian bookstores however amazon has become a huge resource for books. So my books are there but you have to look for me or my books by title. Well i hope you will buy directly from me and when you do put a note that you would like me to sign an address the book to your child. I'll be happy to do so at the end of this episode. I will suggest some of my favorite children's authors and a link to their websites in addition to mine as well after all. My books have been turned into an animation series. You can see on trinity broadcasting network on saturday mornings at nine thirty eastern standard time that speaks for the quality of my books and the blessings of gods hand on my ministry. Anyway wanted to speak today about children's picture books. What is a good picture book. What should you look for children's picture. Books may seem simplistic but they can and should be an informative resource to draw your child closer to jesus. Some people will tell you. The words are most important element of a picture. Book others will say the nations are the most important it really is both illustrative techniques. Can draw a child attention to the page. Hold it long enough. So that they will hear the message. Being read for really small children while they are looking at the illustration simply pair phrase the message in my opinion illustrations should be bright and bold in color. There should not be too much on a page that causes the child to get lost in the illustration simple bold illustrations are the best technique and style in addition to color should induce emotion and convey meaning. However some children do for softer subdued colors. Such as watercolors children learn through their senses and environment. A picture book that allows them to feel what they are hearing or feel what they are seeing can make profound impact. Make sure the picture book is written and illustrated so that it creates emotion. The story line must be easy to understand and follow but it should also have rested language as well. When i wrote my book i kept the language simple and easy to understand for children under seven but after my research i think it's beneficial when a book uses biblical words that allows children to ask questions words such as faith. Salvation glorification children's books that are an interactive are wonderful. All my books are on a free app called novel effect. There are many classics on this app. As well like good night moon. Love you forever. When you click on the app located on your smart device and start to read the physical book in your hand the apple as a sound effects of the page you are reading. It is so cool. Children love it. This also encourages children to read because they want to trigger the with their voice mixture to look at the book before you purchase it if you can. I have over four hundred children's books that i've saved from my children's childhood and ones that i've collected for my future grandchildren. My husband said the grandchildren will outgrow the books before. I even get a chance to read all of them many times. I have bought a book online. Only to be disappointed when it arrived so again. If you can make sure to look and read the book before buying it. That's a better way to do that when i'm at the conventions. I have several of each of my book on the table because a mother's grandparents teachers. They will usually read the whole book before they purchase it. Unless they've already have. One of my books are children will be drawn closer to the lord by interacting within the story whether it be a biblical story or christian picture book. In addition anything written by crystal bowman is excellent. She has written over a hundred christian children's books. God has truly gifted her for writing children's books and her daughter is also following in her footsteps as they have co written a few recent children's books also michelle medlock adams has written some excellent children's books. I especially like her board books for little ones. Also i like max located books for children. He has a wonderful gift for writing for adults and children. And i love the bud faces in his illustrations in like this. Very new book written by tim tibo. It's titled broncos friends apart to remember. Bronco is the name of his dog and the other names in the book are kids that were on the wishlist that lost their lives to cancer and he wanted to honor these children. And this is a quote from tim. We can look at our differences and see our uniqueness. God did not make a mistake. We are all fearfully and wonderfully made. The illustrations are absolutely breathtaking. In this book as well. So i hope you will look into these books and into these authors and build up your library and read tear children often and get their free app so your children can read these books to you. Is the Tasmanian Tiger Really Extinct?
"You've no doubt heard of the Tasmanian Devil or seen an animated version the whirling dervish in looney tunes cartoons. But what about the Tasmanian Tiger? It's actually not even a tiger at all instead a marsupial known as the Thilo seen and it's thought to have gone extinct almost one hundred years ago but did it really. While many experts believed the last known thylacine died at. Australia's Hobart Zoo in nineteen thirty. Six others ardently claimed that the animals still exists because they've spotted one or more in the wild. We spoke by email with Kathryn medlock. Honorary Curator of vertebrate zoology the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery. She said the international Australian and state definition of an extinct species is that there has been no reliable evidence of the species for fifty years by this definition. They are officially extinct species although designated as officially extinct. It's difficult to prove that something is not there as opposed to proving it is. There are many cases of species being rediscovered. Many years after supposed- extinction we also spoke by email with Rick Schwartz an animal ambassador for California's San Diego Zoo. He explained that quote since the Nineteen Thirties. There have been a few claims Tasmanian. Tigers have been seen for brief moments in the wild however no substantial evidence has proven they exist at this time we also spoke by email with Neil waters of the thylacine awareness group of Australia. Who started disagrees a quote? Do I think the animals extinct? No because I've seen too and been coughed slash barked at by one in South Australia. In two thousand eighteen. There have been more than seven thousand documented sightings of Silas scenes or animals that appear to be Thilo scenes but the majority of those sightings on Mainland Australia. According to the scientific formula applied to mammals though it is extinct and has been since nineteen thirty six for fifty years. The animal was considered rare and endangered. This fact inconveniently keeps the animal as a recent extinction rather than an ancient one. We should lose hope over and forget about. Let's step back a bit. What exactly is Tasmanian. Tiger? Schwartz explained that it's not a big cat at all. He said the name. Tiger most likely was given to the animal by the European settlers due to the light stripes that went from the spine down each side on the hind end of the animal. Most people agree that the Tasmanian Tiger looks like a medium sized short haired dog with subtle stripes on hindquarters and the base of its tail. Tail was thick and muscular at the base. More like a kangaroo's tail than a dog's tail colorations were described as light brown and Yellow Brown with Darker Brown stripes. These animals weighed about forty five to seventy pounds. That's twenty to thirty kilos with a body length of forty to fifty inches or one hundred to one hundred and twenty five centimeters with that tail. Adding another twenty to twenty five inches or fifty to sixty centimeters most stood about two feet tall or two thirds of a meter at the shoulder. Schwartz said in our modern times we usually think of marsupials and Kangaroos however the Tasmanian Tiger had a number of unique characteristics being dog like medium sized carnivore. That's also Marsupial it. Size and features were more similar to that of a small wolf or large Fox. Combine that with the striped pattern on the hind end and thick muscular tail.
