Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on Joe Biden's ID Hypocrisy

"Congresswoman green, welcome back to America first. Hi, doctor gorka I'm so glad to be on your show today. So the timing couldn't be better, you wanted to impeach Joe Biden day one. He is giving a speech today in Georgia. Which is going to be allegedly about stopping any reforms of voter integrity and the scuttlebutt has it that he will use the phrase. It is a domestic threat to try and stop election fraud in America. This means congresswoman Greene after January 6th, they're not taking their foot off the gas that actually doubling down, correct? Oh, absolutely. This is going to increase, you know, Joe Biden, who has placed unconstitutional mandate through osha on employees and companies with employees at a hundred or more. He cares so much about vaccine ID that he's made this mandate a huge issue, but yet they want to wipe out better ID. Like you shouldn't be able to show and I need a boat. That's what Democrats want. They want to anyone to be able to mail in a ballot without even showing who they are, but yet they want to impose a vaccine ID for people to be able to pursue life, liberty and happiness, you know, things like working a job to provide for their family, going to a restaurant concert game, private club, Jim, the stay healthy and protect themselves from COVID-19. The Biden Administration Can't Comprehend That Putin Doesn't Care to Play by Their Rules

"We're in, let's talk about the 100,000 troops on the Ukraine Russian border. Yes, Vladimir Putin has a 100,000 troops there. Amazing how that happens, right? I don't recall this being such an issue during the Trump presidency, but suddenly now, the Democrats are back in power. The guy whose vice president to the guy who allowed the annexing of Crimea don't forget back in 2014, that was under president Obama's leadership, so if I'm bought and I'm like, well, hey, you know, maybe I take a stab at this again and see what happens with this guy. Joe Biden, who barely seems like he's awake. Look stays. One of the problems here and I'm going to get to this a little bit more in just a bit is that you've got blink in Secretary of State blinken who doesn't have a whole lot of going on upstairs. And others within this administration, that don't get that Vladimir Putin doesn't care about being one in their club, right? They think, wow, if you're going to be an actor on the world stage, if you're going to be part of this great society, if you're going to be part of one of the liberal economies in the world, then you kind of need to act by a certain code. Boom doesn't care about the code. You just get one bit. You know, that was actually something that Donald Trump kind of understood. Innately, he got that that Putin was just playing by a different set of rules. And we, as a nation, needed to adapt to that game of chess in some ways, right? Rather than sitting there and never never land thinking that everybody wants to win a Nobel Prize. Well, maybe some leaders don't actually care about that. Maybe they're just going to do what is in their interest, which in this case, lateral Putin sees as having more control over Ukraine. He doesn't want NATO right there. You know, at his back door on his frontier, it would be like us, you know, having to deal with China. Right there on the Canadian border, we wouldn't like that, right? You understand that so you have to think about it at least from that perspective

Why Female Republicans Need to Get Involved in Politics

"A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to speak here in upstate South Carolina home to the O'Connell county Republican women's club, one of the many wonderful Republican women's clubs that we have in upstate South Carolina. And I made a point to them and always do. That is important that women get involved in politics. And we have seen in recent years that female candidates do well on the ballot. 2021 was no different. They're currently 32 women serving as mayors of major cities. 32 out of 100 cities that are considered our major cities like Boston, for example. Congressional candidates females won a number of highly contested congressional races this past year. And at the state level, many females one to the point that they could potentially be a majority of some state legislatures, for example, in Virginia, New Jersey. They held legislative elections this past year. In New Jersey, 41 women 27 Democrats, 14 Republicans won their races. In the state Senate, ten women won those races. In Virginia 35 women were elected. To serve in the House of delegates. So is this a trend and do people truly trust females more so than they do? Males and at a time when we have our first vice president as a female who is according to The New York Times, whining behind the scenes that she's not being given enough to do. That she's not being given the big jobs. By the Biden administration.

"COVID-19. BC that's British Columbia. Canada is composed of provinces. I think it's 7 ten. Excuse me, ten. I've been to all of them except Prince Edward Island. BC closes gyms, bars, clubs, and bands indoor Christmas parties, as omicron cases surge. All Macron cases surge. So what if cases surge? Of any type. Cases is not the issue. Death is the issue serious illnesses the issue, right? And omicron? The South Africans of the people who revealed it, and they said, what's everybody panicking about? It's no big deal. When people cut off flights from South Africa, like that'll work. Notice, it's really been effective. On The Crown, omikron may be a blessing, may be a curse. I don't know. But it may be a blessing. If more and more people get natural immunity and don't get sick, want a gift. On Tuesday, what is today? Wednesday? No. Yesterday, health officials announced the cancellation of all indoor gatherings, regardless of size. Wow. I think Canada should replace the maple leaf. With a policeman, this is a good wish we should have a contest. What should Canada replace the maple leaf with? A sheep is very, very good, is a very good idea. A policeman is another good idea. Very nice. An N95 mask.

Why The Church Must Lean In and Save America

"We as Christians have to step up and regardless of your theological views or your eschatological views. I believe in the inertia of scripture, the triune God, I believe in Jesus Christ as my lord and savior. And you guys can sort out all the rest from there of your own denominational or theological differences. We have to fight for liberty and liberty as God's idea, not man's idea. And I am seeing so many churches that, especially over the last year and a half, there's three different types of churches in America. There are churches that are complacent, churches that are courageous, like this one that would host an event like this, or churches that are complicit, which are we'll start with the complicit churches. Those are the churches that are the ones that are flying the Black Lives Matter flags. Those are the churches that have the LGBT flags outside their door. They're the churches that give the sermons saying that we need to be woke and we need to embrace the diversity industrial complex. These churches are actively involved in trying to further a very, very destructive left wing agenda in our country. And we're seeing that through some people at the very top level of the American Christian community. Then there's the complacent church. Church is that say pastor say, hey, you know what? We don't do politics in our church. We just do the gospel. We don't talk about things that are happening in the news. And this is not biblical. All throughout the old and New Testament, whether it be Esther, nehemiah, mordecai, Jeremiah, Joseph and Daniel, they were God's chosen people fighting for God's purpose and secular government. Daniel fasted and prayed for the well-being of the nation that he was in. And Jeremiah 29 7 it says demand the welfare of the nation I have sent you in because your welfare is tied to the nation's welfare. We as Christians are called to care about every realm and sphere in political life in life outside the walls of the church. And I never say what we are doing is the most important thing. The most important thing is winning souls for Jesus Christ. The most important thing that we can do. But then the obvious question is, what's the second most important thing? To make sure you can do the first thing. To make sure the church never gets labeled non-essential again. To make sure that the church never gets locked down again. So make sure we never go through a chapter in American history, where abortion clinics remain open, marijuana shops remain open. Liquor stores remain open and strip clubs remain open, but the church gets close. You know what? We shouldn't tolerate that. It's never going to happen again. And the church has to rise up and put people in leadership to say that the church is not non-essential. It's the opposite, the most essential

"Welcome back to Emma Joe Morris one on one with me. Sebastian gorka. I need to ask you so many things we have to get you back. So many things I want to ask you, but first things first, given everything that you've uncovered, the thing that blows my mind apart from the corruption, the ambassador, the constant lying from all of the bidens. None of these people are top draw. None of them are smart. None of them are sharp. None of them are street smart. They're crazy crackheads like hunter, who takes films of himself with whores and crack and gets caught, crashing a rental car with his dead brother's attorney general badge in it and his crank pipeline. I mean, stuff you wouldn't believe in a novel. How do these people get away with it? Why does it take until you the poston and Rudy? Because there should have been detritus of corruption for decades. Yeah, I mean, I call them over educated fools. Good. 'cause I think that that's what kind of educated and dumb. Yeah, they go to Harvard. They go to Yale, whatever. And they're not exactly what you said. They're not street smart, but they can't. It's a miracle that they tie their shoes in the morning. Some of these guys, it looks like that. And I think how do they get away with it? I think it's saying that Trump made clear through his entire time in the white as if there's anything that there was to learn about Trump's time in The White House is that there's a club. Yeah. And if you're not in that club, you can't play with them. But if you're in the club. You can do no wrong. And there's no repercussion for anything. I mean, we exposed work that was being done while Joe Biden was vice president. And there's testimony in public from people who were involved in these deals. 20 public ski and Miranda writes about this and he said it in public, he said to them, why are you doing this? How are you doing this? This is like there's something really wrong about this. He was basically brought in to kind of button up their deals because they had no experience in any of this. So Tony was brought in with experience right up their contracts. Veterans. And he comes in and he realizes what's going on, and he says to Jim Biden, how why would you do this? How are you doing this? And his brother. Yes. And Joe's brother says to Tony, plausible deniability.

Matt Walsh Talks About Problems in the Catholic Church

"I mean the church has to be the leader here not the follower Yeah I totally agree And that's why what happened with me with this church at SLU it's kind of a microcosm of a much much larger problem And that the pastor at this church he came to the mob He obviously was originally in favor of bringing me on and the mob was angry the people are angry And so he came to it And this is what we find all across the country not just in the Catholic Church but I think in Christendom in the west generally speaking are people leaders who are supposed to be representing the truth and bringing and guiding their flocks to the truth who instead have conform themselves to the world which is exactly what we're warned against in the gospels You have to think like Yeah I have no doubt that in many churches if a priest or papa were to stand up there and give a really firm homily on something like abortion you're going to upset some people in the some might get up and walk out right there on the spot But if they do then they're not there if you're not at the church looking for truth then you shouldn't be there anyway And we shouldn't be catering to people who don't want moral truth at church Once you give up on that then what's the point What's the purpose What exactly are you doing Now you're just kind of like it's a meeting ground for people It's a book club or something And we don't need that There's other places people can go to go and socialize and have community There's a very specific purpose of a church and if you abandon that purpose then the church might as well not even exist

"me club" Discussed on Leadership Lifestyle Podcast

"You gotta give your talents. You gotta wait your turn in some cases of whenever that is if you're not thinking long term of what you're trying to get it probably isn't gonna work out too. Well i mean think about people who are constantly switching jobs but they're not getting anywhere in any particular organization it just like that's a perfect example that they're not getting immediately what they think they should get whatever that is and they just kinda mount kind of go do my own thing. But then they're in a sense like really starting over because every time you enter a new group or club or whatever they call it that whole process starts over again so you think about what. Are you giving to get to where you want to be. So then you get to give and one of the biggest things with that is managing your filters and buy filters i mean like how do you natural react to everything. How do you respond. What's your go-to and really thinking about those things. Or you hear some piece of information you automatically have in your brain answer of why something happened the way it happened. Or how did it happen in a lot of times. It might not be right. It's just the way you think and you have to really help control those filters because remember you're part of a group now so there's about individual contributor there's also about team player and whereas that balance where you can contribute enough but it doesn't mean you always get what you want doesn't mean you get your way you're always right and a lot of times. You can trace that back to the own filters you have for yourself and how you respond to things and really be thinking about. How do you control those filters so you don't have that automatic response but do you think about not getting to where you want to be and this is why so. Many people actually wind up becoming entrepreneurs because they think they can build a better mousetrap that they can lead people better and some point they just get to a place where it's like you know what i'm just gonna go do it myself and that's certainly not everybody but that's what you kind of think when when.

"Welcome back everybody. Thanks for joining us for another podcast. Really appreciate you being here. So what we're really talking about. Of course being in clubs. Whatever club that is for you could be your work. Club could be a hobby club. Could be anything could be a political club. Whatever is what we're really talking about. Is the fifth dog of the five dogs the five disciplines of growth and that is community. Because you can't really get anywhere solely by yourself you just. Can't we really think about everything that's out there now. You might be able to do a couple of one off things like invent something but to really make things come to life you have to be a part of something and but so often we look at that like You know the time it takes or just how you feel about. You're gonna have to give some things and in a sense. Wait your turn. And a lot of times i really struggled with this for several reasons will get into a little bit because sometimes you feel like did you get anointed or selected or chosen. Are you get into a. Why are other people selected or chosen in. You're not and you have all these animosity type feelings being in whatever club you're in and that just kind of goes with just about any any club you join has kind of a hierarchy like that and some things you have to do in order to get to where you wanna be but like one of the things being in a club when you think about the old saying show me three or five of your closest friends and i'll show you well whatever organization or group you're part of is kinda the same thing of. Why are you a part of that organization in how. How do you contribute what you get out of it. What does that organization do. What does that mean for you. It kinda does describe you also in who you are in what you have to give in one of the you wanna look at maybe a negative side of that when you think about joining a political organization..

"So are you in the club. I know that's a real snarky way of looking at. Are you in the organization. Want to be a part of but a lot of times. That's how we feel about it that. Oh we finally made it in the club so to speak in. There's a lot of things that go on with that and sometimes they don't wanna do that. But if you're really gonna make something happen grow. You have to be part of a community somehow. Some way you can't just do it all on your own and we're going to talk about that this week in that not looking at it negatively but the fact is being part of a club. Is something really special. And he shouldn't have to feel like oh. I had to do all these things i didn't want to do in order to get there but being part of that club is really what's going to propel you forward and eventually help you propel others forward and we're gonna talk about that coming up right. Now is time for.

"me club" Discussed on The Missing Movie Club

"Well hello there and welcome to this the inaugural meeting of the missing movie club. We wanted to start the podcast out with a bit of an introduction which is why we've called the special session of the club speaking of introductions. That'd be really good place to start Why don't we go around the table and introduce ourselves real quick. I guess i can go first. My name is john. i'm jason. I'm pamela chris. So now we'll pause for a second so you folks listening can introduce yourselves to ready. Wow that's such a great name. I know right is cool. Okay anyway moving on. Let's talk about why we're here. This podcast this whole thing started because the four of us have had way too many conversations that went something like seriously. You've never seen that movie before. You're such a moron. I don't think i've seen that doesn't really fall in my wheelhouse. Maybe we should get together sometime in. Watch it which sounds great except those conversations never actually led to us getting together to watch the movies being recommended. That's why we formed the missing movie club as a fun project together where we can watch discuss the movies that some of us mysteriously missed jason. None of us are celebrities. Comedians or claim to be film experts. We're just regular folks who love movies. I feel like we do have a good mix of different movie types that we like. Or don't like though like jason. You like old disaster movies. Right i do. I have a thing for for gentlemen and distress. There is something to be said about a good disaster movie art disasters. This is true. And chris you like like horror movies. Yep i enjoy a good horror. Movies comedies. Core comedy horror-com. They do have eight or comedies. But i don't final girls girls. Good horror comedy. I've never seen that. Well i'll put it on the list which never seen tucker and dale vs evil. Either i have not seen that either for. That's really good. I know that's usually not the kind of thing i watch anyway because i you know. I don't like the scary movies i know. Sometimes it's funny enough. I'm okay it takes a lot to be funny scary movie though like a lot of scary movies try to be funny and they fail evil dead and there's a great. Yeah that's the best one. Though i i like and it's kind of sacrilegious army of darkness. I don't why i know that one too. yeah. I don't totally over the other two absolutely. Yeah i love that one. That's the only one i've seen. I've seen the other ones are good. Just sam ramey the old school low budget horror but man. I dunno army darkness. My favorite kim lynnwood candy like what kind of movies or horror movies. Apparently because that's i don't know it has to be clever. It can't be too gory. Like screams my favorite horror movie. I like movies. That are creepy. Not scary like like. I like to be creeped out. But i don't like to be like be thinking about this too. Am scared of a movie. I feel like. I think i just watch. What was the changeling from the seventies of eight hundred. I think you'd like the changeling. It's it's very atmospheric Atmospheric like like spooky but not definitely not gory but it. I say that i was invested in the whole thing like i really liked. I watched it during the day. Which is kind of weird but The only time. John can watch him perfectly but he did it. Did you've seen it right. chris. Yeah i think the tension is there. Yeah definite tension. It gets psychological too. It's not it's not like everything's out in the open you know. They're not just like blatantly showing you. Yeah yeah that's kind of like. That's why guys like john. Carlos the thing that roommate they good job ever seen good russell. Yeah see. i told you we weren't movie experts. That's okay. I mean i am going gonna say with movies. I like well. We know. pamela doesn't lead calm. Like silly comedies. Down john movies. What do we say. She does. Sophomoric humor so like dude. Where's my car and stuff like that. Those are just dumb. Basically half half of everything will ferrell's ever made errol. I like elf l. exceptions stepbrothers. Come on step. I've never seen step this classic. I love that you watch talladega nights though see. I didn't either that one that was in the will ferrell like little movies. That that's not what i do like the the other actor. That's in stepbrothers. John c reilly reilly. He doesn't get enough credit. No he really doesn't like because he can do both comedy and drama and he just doesn't get the credit he deserves like he was in laurel and hardy and i found that to be just fantastic. Like there's a really good movie. Yeah watch that but his performances really really well done and do can sing too like i love the have you seen that chicago chicago chicago. He's amazing he's the only reason i listened to that song because nobody cares molester so no we're not the way that i can do. Twenty seconds. I also like murder mysteries with a more like old school. Setting everybody's trapped in house together trying to figure murder by death the ass murder by death which is super offensive now but still it is. It's the blue always my favorite knives. Owls good yes. They're making partout they are. I can't wait to see it. Should the the murder on the orient express that the the remake that they did. I mean the old ones great to new and they made was good. And they're doing definitely yeah. I can't do because they really shouldn't. So that's honestly my all time favorite agatha book miss christie dame if you're nasty when my favorites is twelve angry men the original. I just watched that a few weeks. The original or you seen inherit. The wind was spencer. Tracy now and get better that worst that in a film class man i love that movie to it's basically about this The scopes monkey trial for mac in the twenty s they have the science teacher wants to teach evolution spencer tracy and so he's basically imprisoned in the small town and so spencer tracy is a big city lawyer that comes into defend him and his rights. There's so many great. It's amazing we have you guys seen that. We definitely got to get that one. Because it's there's so many and oh it's gene kelly's in it and he is my favorite 'cause he's got enough reporter and so many lines that he delivers just beautiful. Like just how he he'd because he so cynical snarky about the whole process and yeah. Oh it's from bewitched one of the deras. Oh i can't remember which one i there or secondary and i never knew it was which i didn't really watch okay. Let's remember this movie podcast. Did you watch the rim. The movie with will ferrell. Remaking it again so i heard air getting the remake. Everything remained just screw. Five is coming out dick york. Okay the good darren. Dick sargent plays. He plays a lot of your. He plays on trial and stuff. So speaking of spencer tracy. Let's talk about people's favorite actors. Because i know pamela kenzo's katherine hepburn. I love katherine hepburn. One of my favorite movies is the philadelphia story. Because you have the trifecta of katherine hepburn and jimmy stewart and Carey grant and you just can't get better than that at that time.

pamela chris jason sam ramey kim lynnwood ferrell john movies chris John c reilly reilly john tucker chicago dale spencer tracy errol pamela Carlos russell John christie Tracy

"I promise you that if any film now are being told that way it's it wouldn't work out if not it would just be like should upon because people can't tell the between tropes and conventions and I think this film actually is like really really just warn of masterclasses subversion. You know and it gives you a lot of the like breadcrumbs along the way and it kind of begs. You not big demands you to rewatch it after you've watched for the first so Very rewarding yes. I very much enjoy washing this film recently on amazon prime video and Yeah i can't recommend watching it more goal and the everyone who says that there are film buffs should go. "Week i was getting into fights but every now and again one of those fights would be because it was some gangster. Dude that like you said it was either his ex that you know. He felt like what he had any right to be with only he had the right to come back to her for them to get back together once he was done with whoever he was hooking up with that weak or it was a gangster sister cousin family member point is with fighting these gangs dudes if i beat one that ended up having a fight a much more. Because you know they're click turning gang they cover for each other so to make sure that i wasn't jumped is often as i was or to to reduce chances of me getting jumped. I had to win savagely ahead to win to a point to where no one would wanna fight we. It was always just some dude man that was making out with the girl that he liked her making girl. It used to be with a part of the reason. I attributed winning. These fights is having kind of a spider sense. A six cents something that protects me. I don't know if it supernatural or do something within myself. And i'll try to describe it as best i can. So it's something of a spider sense in terms of not so much time slows down. When i get into fights it's kind of like That last fight scene in the matrix. Where neo is blocking agent smith's punches and she's just kind of bored like his arm out at a ninety degree angle and he just slaps his arm down and then back up. It just seems like neo is dropping his risk down and then bringing it back up to to block punches and it's not like he's really doing much of an effort or much of blocking or fighting he's just kind of bored with it your call that scene that somewhat like how i would see fights everything would not slow down or everything would slow down but not too super slow speed where It seemed like time was stopping. It was just more of a half speed and on top of that. My a eyesight my vision would kind of get blurred. Herb blurt out with like lead read fog slash cutout to where i would only have an opening to see where my next target was. Where my next enemy was and it wasn't always pursing those closest to me. It was somehow the person that was the biggest threat to me. And so if i paid attention to that circle to what i could see what was visible. I would be fine. I'd get hit a couple of times. It wouldn't be as bad as times. That i completely ignored the yet and the opening wouldn't always stay in front of me so if i'm facing north in north twelve o'clock and i have an target or an enemy or someone trying to fight me at eleven one and three. The.

"Like coaches available in training sessions. That help you get in shape instead of jesus being. I don't know about you. But i if i'm gonna train it's much better to train with a team than it is trained individually. Yes and not that. I dislike structure training. But it's much better to go out on a on a group training ride on the door trainer by yourself. I find. I can't quite push myself the same way. I can't if i'm in a group or or with my team and you should listen to episode eight and use music to really enhance your trading. You might like riding alone. That's and that's fine but club rights give you the chance to chat. You know like i said earlier. Learn learn about cycling in a kind of indirect way which is nice and also afford you opportunities to social situations that you wouldn't be otherwise afforded and that's probably one of the biggest things you you and i were inadvertently in the same club when we kind of only knew it because i don't even know why we knew it but like the club because some of the trek people that i rode with were had have been a member of the club for a while and they encouraged me to join it two years ago and at the time i was doing to group rides a week with with track and i was still doing another couple rise like i don't really need another group but i was still. I was still at the point. That point lacking confidence. That that i could keep up with some of the club rights because at the time they actually did have like an ab nc listing rides in the the the era they were. They were legit. I'm glad i joined them. There's it's opened up a lot of new people that i ride with now even just having the ability of more people to to reach out to when you're looking to just go on a ride not necessarily a club you know..

"That's that's what i bill is not necessarily good but at least you're not gonna flop over the handlebars break. Your elbow. not that. I know anybody that's done that. Yeah we would never know anybody. That's on that so moving on today. We're gonna talk about joining a cycling club so you know getting into the more social aspect of road biking and in the draw bar or or flat farming. There's sort there. Yeah there are some pretty. We see a pretty good size. I don't know that their official club is they are are they. 'cause i knew there was as book group because i'm a part of it but i'm certainly not part of any official But yeah joining a club. I andrew nye joined the same club last year. Actually the reasoning may have been a little different. I when i got back into road riding. I was doing the trick shop rides. They were they would do shopper. Rides out of the different shops and with the pandemic they they discontinued corporate wasn't allowing them to do that anymore. And so i was looking for a group ride to to just be a part of on a weekly basis again and i was looking around and the club that we joined the western. Pa willman was closer to where i am. It's the rides are little bit of a drive for you but not terrible. Everything's a little bit of a drive for your kind of in the middle of your like a half an hour from everything. Yes so they just. They happen to be a good locale for me. There's another group. That's up north. That i probably would really enjoy. But they do all their rides like at least forty five minutes north of where they start. I'm like north park. People know they're like up in beaver. I recently joined another one. That's alpine me and scottdale which is nice I haven't gone on official ride yet. Because nothing's really lined up. But you know we'll get there. Your work schedule's been kinda crappy for or at least not conducive to getting out and doing more than an hour of riding. Yeah that's yeah but so. Why should you join a club right. So there's there's a multitude of reasons and it all comes down to personal preference but for the most part one of the more important things is the social aspects so finding like minded riders. All clubs have different types of personalities. So find the one that matches your interest is a great way to meet like minded writers and some clubs are big enough that they kind of have multiple personalities inside club. There's yeah you know the the club that were part of is i. i would kinda. It's not quite at that level..

"You out look Good luck man. I can't even figure myself out so moving onto riding stuff for the last couple of weeks At yesterday one of my first club ride is a year and it was also my first two bottle ride not meaning that i actually do water. I've been bringing two bottles of water. But i haven't finished two of them. It was like eighty two yesterday. It was nice yesterday. Yeah we we did like thirty one thirty two miles and there was twenty six hundred feet of climbing so i mean it was a good ride but look great rile. Yeah it was. It was a lot of new roads for me. I was kind of familiar with with parts of it. Welcome to my neck of the woods. Yeah i love that. Stretch going on along the interstate. That was really cool. Yeah i'd never done that. Yeah now it's jealous. I wasn't able to go. I was hoping you were gonna join us for that because it's a it's a good group of guys. I don't know that you've met everybody. I mean the the kyo 'em in the clip were there. But i don't think you know anybody else. You probably know names. But i don't think you know anybody else. But but i switched to a zero degree float pedal and i'm actually loving it up. I know a lot of people struggle getting the positioning right and not having the positioning right causes knee pain. I love being fixed in. I haven't tried the the blue shimono cleats which is kind of a. It's a three degree float instead of the six degree. I was like just swimming around in with six degrees afloat so floating. Seriously i i had. I felt like i could go. Like almost completely pigeon-toed. But i could also go like heels together like dorothy in the wizard of oz. If i wanted to. Yeah that's a that's a nice reference for you to bring my physique issues so you can get the red the red ruby slipper look now. I don't think they'd fit if they don't fit you they wouldn't fit me are they. Do fit me just not well winner with six thick socks i thought was kind of funny as andrew almost full to trigger carbon bike. After you hear your seriously contemplating that because it was four hundred dollars and it was a pretty good bike. I not that. I would have ever called pro bike to run the serial number. Pass them and see what the history was on the bike. If that had eleven speed. I have a feeling you about that the fact that it was the fact that it was fifty. Six hundred fifty eight hundred i was. I was thinking about it. Because i've dealt with that brand before in. I really like their stuff. But they're not really heavy producer anymore. So they're not so. It's a shame that they should've caught on. Yeah i did. I was honestly thinking about it. And i bounce the idea off a few people and i didn't listen to nick. I i listen to my other buddy..

"Hey let's meet and south park. Let's meet at the panhandle it's at robinson. Let's just go ride somewhere and you know it's nice to have a big group of people that you can call onto cycle so you know i heard about it through people that i ride but there's plenty of ways you can find one. Usa cycling's website will will have all of the the us ac sanctioned clubs on strava has a great way to find local cycling club. There is a caveat with that. Some of the cycling clubs in strava are not actually clubs. There started as like these niche groups searches. Be careful whenever you're looking at it with things online. But like you know with strava i will say that you want to look at like posting activity ride numbers if you're able to see this it looking at frequency of people riding because like i joined the club on a two years ago on straw and i've never actually ridden with these people so like i was trying to get into the club scene and like i joined a club that it was just a group of guys that which is post on strava and it was real active like a couple years ago but it wasn't anything in the the other option you have is just doing a simple google search of cycling clubs near me. And what is this google. Some small tech company out of l. -fornia they're they're they're fairly. Og l. e. dot com. Yeah interesting check that out and you'll be interested. They do a lot of cool things but they're not real big yet. Looks like they like to shared data lot anyhow. That's a that's another darko. The ride that for me. There's i think four or five clubs in thirty miles of pittsburgh that i that pop up when when i do that so yeah and and a lot of them will allow you to do certain number of rides with the with the club before make you join. Which is you can get a feel for. Is it a good fit for me. A good fit for them. You know is is. It's something i'm going to enjoy and you know if if it is great they've got a new member that's anxious to to ride. Meet people in if not mean. There's no hard feelings that everybody has their own reason for riding in their own way of in style of writing. So you know. I'm in that club that that matches you is is very important. Yeah definitely so next thing. We're going to talk about right gear. This week's a little bit different so like usually nick. I have separate gear but this week we have the same exact thing mainly because it was knicks. Now it's mine and saw that you kick it off. Yeah i was episode two that i reviewed my city shoes and i mentioned that i. I really like these bond tracker shoes but they were just. They didn't fit me well and so sorry cough so i i had them just kind of as a backup set in was complaining that his shoes were a little not fitting him right now as i got an extra pair if you want him. So that's how andrew ended up with them but they're the bond trigger circuits and it's a it's a nylon soul but what i thought was really cool about it is..

"Other really cool parts about joining a club is the the cafe slash pub experience so lot of club rides will either have a halfway point at a coffee shop or somewhere to grab a snack. I'm in a lot of them. End with you. Know a beer garden or a pub so we can have a painter a soda or whatever whatever. Your poison is soda. I'm still hockey player. Times with sodas throwback sodas with the boys who drinks soda. It's it's sodas beer the same thing in that gives you shit. Yeah you always do. But you know who who doesn't love going on you know thirty forty mile ride and then you know having a few with the group afterwards and just being social enjoying it. Obviously the last year is made that part of the club exterior not. Yeah but that's the one thing i liked about the the wednesday rides one of the ones. I went on where we started that beers. That's what super cute. Yeah that once a month. We'll do a detour coming back to the parking lot and and grab a beer at the german beer garden about two miles from the parking lot. Which is pretty cool one of my favorites and it's not a cafe or a pub but my favorite ride and we didn't do it last year. 'cause obviously they didn't have this The apple festival. But there's a we do with the willman. We do a like a forty five mile ride and with about ten miles to go. We actually stop at the festival and get apple dumplings so that one that one my favorite mostly because i love the ride too but the it was just cool to. I don't know if you've ever done the apple. Dumpling festival win in mcdonald. But no i have not. It's hopefully we'll be able to do it this year and it's falls on a weekend that you're available to to ride because you you'd really enjoy the route and then i think you would enjoy the apple dumplings with some ice cream for a three quarter ride. Snack probably pass on the ice cream. But i'm just saying that's what everybody else got. I didn't i didn't partake 'cause my sugars..

"And i think i told you the story. Yeah we were in the parking lot. And he's his dropped him like a tot well not intentionally. He's like he. I was talking with a couple of the club members. And he comes up and we're like you know. Welcome to the club. You know happy to have you. Not and he's like he's like he's like you're right with these guys a lot and i said yeah he said well you're a bigger guy like if you can keep up with them. I and probably keep up with them. And i'm like if you're sizing up the riders already. You may be the wrong ride. And i i know. Our ride leader actually encouraged him to join the wednesday ride. Which is you've done that one with us. Yeah and that one's the pace isn't necessarily slow but it's just an easier ride to keep together on because there's really only one big climb in. That's that's more of a welcoming ride to to something used to group rides or road rides. He got dropped like two miles in and just turn around. And i felt bad. You know because that's a terrible. I experience to have with the club. But at the same time i you know listen to what the club leaders telling you based on your experience and things like that because they know and i think we lost a potential member just because he in reality joined the wrong ride i i. I was fortunate that when i first started doing group rides. It was the the trek sunday morning rides and that that group is extremely friendly. It's a no drop ride we regroup anywhere from two to four times in the twenty five miles if the groups big enough when we get to a certain point the people wanna do along faster pace rydell split off and maybe do thirty five or forty but you know i that got me hooked on writing and if i if i didn't join that group for the first time i i don't know that i'd still be riding to be honest with you so to me. You know having that like minded writers but also having a group of people that make it social and not just writing by yourself..

"I guess i think it's easier just to have both because that's what's on. That's what's on my ribble in the bikes. That i'm looking at a potential next bike. Also have one sixty one sixty. But yeah i mean i. I didn't realize how much of your stopping power. Until i was reading like andrew was came from the front tire or the front wheel and the rear wheel was more of like andrew. Said the oh shit or the. You know that you're gonna squeeze because if you lock up your front you're going over the bars unless you're putting your way behind the saddle or yeah. That's that's what i port is not necessarily good but at least you're not gonna flop over the handlebars break your elbow. Not that i know anybody. That's done that. Yeah we would never know anybody. That's on that so moving on today. We're gonna talk about joining a cycling club so you know getting into the more social aspect of road biking and in the drop bar or or flat farming. There's sort of. Yeah there are some pretty. We see a pretty good size. I don't know that their official club is they are are they because i knew there was this book group because i'm a part of it but i'm certainly not a part of any official But yeah joining a club. And so i was looking for a group ride to to just be a part of on a weekly basis again. I was looking around and the club. That we joined the western. Pa willman was closer to where i am. It's the rides are a little bit of a drive for you but not terrible. I recently joined another one..
