"Is hayden. Yeah this is masters call. Yeah this is the john. Jay rich show is that okay. We put on the radio so we can talk to you for a second. i guess. Hey we do show called shot and the me explain the concept normally. Let's see there's a girl that likes a guy or a guy that likes girl and we get him on the show and we give him sixty seconds to shoot their shot like to tell the person how much they liked him and kind of him out and sell themselves to this person. You get what i'm saying. But i i mean i i already have a girlfriend so i don't know who would be well. That's good first of all. I was explaining to the concept of. Shoot your shot. It doesn't always have to be about someone asking somebody out because in this case and you got brian points. Racine have a girlfriend by the way. That's good in this case. It is your girlfriend sofia. She wants to come on our show and she wants to pitch you something she wants to. She has sixty seconds to pitch an idea or a concept. Are you okay with that. Okay yeah well why not okay. So we're gonna bring her up. You're going to hear her and then we're going to start a clock and she has sixty seconds to pitch you a certain concept so be open to it and so are you ready already paid. No you ready. Yeah ready so fear you have sixty seconds to shoot your shot. Try that. We spend christmas with your family and my family. And you're of maybe with my family. Well we have time. And i think that maybe we to my family as well because i mean with the number of covid writing mccoy non. Be much safer. You won't be going to and then maybe we can hang out with your family at another time. And also new. I know that that was sixty seconds right there. Baby we literally had a deal I i. I didn't go to my family on thanksgiving so that we could be with yours and like that's just unfair. We came face in family. We can i just say my parents and like yeah we can make it work so bonn do you like you know like we made a and i say you know you got honor your deal and and go see my family like they. They'll be super excited to see. You gotta make fun of me again. And i just don't want to deal with that on christmas faith you know they love you right okay. The just they just make fun of you because they like you. That's that's a good thing that you let you know that they accept you. You're one of us. Yeah but it was embarrassing. And you didn't even for me like i just don't wanna i don't to have to monitor what i eat. I just wanna like hang out. And i'll make it worth your. I appreciate that like. That's that's a great offer but Like i off baby baby. Just hold you know like Look look i. I love you and and i hear you but you know like this. Party's the whole thing like it's not just so small get together. It's food alcohol. We do a cornhole tournament like we go all out every year. Like we can't just not go like and you gotta come with me. To once you there like they. They typically asked me. If you're coming to they're excited to see you excited mcmartin. Does that mean okay. So here's the deal. We gave him and you sixty seconds pitched so we need an answer for me hayden. Are you going to do christmas with her family. Your family. what's the end here. Oh we're we're going to my family. I mean we made it look like oh i'll tell them to tone down you know stuff making fun of you but also like i would be worried if they didn't mess with you so you you for it. We'll be okay because you've got to be sensitive to her feelings too when you take it from a guy algo if you agree to assist we get there so it starts on you so again. What's the outcome here. Though i had agreed to it. I just was hoping that this would change his mind. But all right thank you very much. That's shoot your shot. what a beautiful couple sophia. in hayden. That your shot. "And she had some serious mental health issues. They believe it could be wrong. But i believe it was acute schizophrenia. What she was diagnosed with and the night before she was supposed to testify. She called the judge in the case and said she couldn't do it. She was freaking out. She was scared and he. He's on the one of the documentaries. Saying look i was just trying to figure our way to get her in here. Yeah because he. He believed that what she was saying was false. No he he just wanted to figure out a way to get a court because she was a key. She was a key figure. You know. she's the first person who filed a report that night. She drank herself to death the night before so she never testified what the autopsy showed that it was. Alcohol related liver failure so she didn't materialize as a witness whites up. The nypd should have dropped within. That was their star. One of their star witnesses their star win and the father of her child stead that over his dead body. Would he let his son testify. So that's the original okay. Wow now what comes next at trial. One of the other damning pieces of evidence. There's the jailhouse informant. George freeman and he said that. Ray buckey raymond buckey confessed to molesting children over years in years but it also emerged during this time that the sheriffs were practice making a practice out of pudding jailhouse informants in with high profile defendants in order to get confessions. Well what did this informant get. He got a reduction in his sentence. All the informants get something but it also came out. That george freeman shared a jail cell with ray buckey for two days in two days. Are you going to. And by the way ray. Buckey was very quiet very reserved. He he was not a talker. And you think he's going to reveal to this jail cell bunk mate after two days that his deepest darkest secrets. I don't think so Also when freeman took the stand he looked terrible because they used him apparently once he got out of jail. He went on like total bender. And when asked if he had any credibility by danny davis or one of the defense attorneys. He said not really. At least he's honest good for the prosecutor prosecution like shit themselves at this boy. I mean there's no way to rehab him because they actually said the key physically looked terrible and then he just says he. I'm not really credible. So there goes. That's an that was a big. That's a big michigan for prosecutors. Dr hager took the stand and she discussed her photography of the children. Who is she again. She's the one that media attrition and what was interesting about her is that she was the first doctor to start photographing Children molestation cases. Because she said it's not enough to lake make notes and describe you have to actually see. She was compelling. They said she was a very strong witness but she had to other doctors who got up and they were all in disagreement about where the trauma occurred on the show like on the children and what was the cause of the trauma. They weren't all in genital areas and some of them were scars and abrasions. Not things that you could say. Definitively kids get hurt all the time. Isn't it hard to say that. I think that was the point of the other. Doctors hager had concluded that something like eighty percent of the children she saw were molested also the number. I mean these numbers are really high key mcfarland and hager reporting hundreds of children. Is it possible. Yes but these numbers seem you know astronomical She was nonetheless. She was definitely a very credible witness. And she's still very credible and she invented this technique which has been used. She's heralded as the taking the photographs..

"And if you followed walter martin in his heyday he didn't pull any punches man he was settled as a kick it has since so he's at this conference during the same routine he's done for years he is destroying this particular perversion of christianity as he described at destroying it the crowd is eating it up except for one young man and this young man who grew up in one of these perversions of christianity saying the same christmas songs thought he was being taught out of the same bible he didn't know no one's ever told them any a step before hearing it off for the first time that's why i went to the walter mcmartin martin conference he's thinking i'm on dumb on team bible here no what i'm saying he thinks he's on the right team and this guy this young man stands up in the middle of martin's talked to challenge him to his face that's a bad life choice right there that's like saying the tom brady when you're the other teams defense in the super bowl we're going to give you the ball back down by a touchdown or less with a couple of minutes to go because we don't think you have it in yet don't make that move make make good choices there will not be one of them don't sterling to walter martin the old original bible man's conference and say and step to him right there in all of his glory that is good it'd be a beat down of epic proportions the devil doesn't show up to those able like hey we'll get waldermar now here and they alleyway we're not going to show up like that i this kid got rained he got destroyed.

"Mcmartin preschool case trump i got involved in that pretty heavy there was no convictions and nothing and yet they lost their house and everything and that's what's going to happen here a lotta innocent people are going to go down because we won't step back and look at it no you're you're i'm glad you brought that up um someone that is willing to uh you know give up uh their morales their integrity um you know their personal values in order to become a um uh entertainmentstarved first of all they don't know much about the entertainment business but uh bad as much different than someone that goes to work fearful of howell she's going to be treated every day uh the big big difference um you know the the guys if there are the responsible they need to be ah they need to be held accountable but we don't need to till wash over it like i said uh i saw in i don't recall her name um but she was a the head of some feminist organisation and she was ask uh by the host way she not fearful that some innocent men would be swept up in this and she said possibly so but at least now bono know how we feel and look at what kind of what can answer is that uh that that you know we get so selectively outraged about because it's tech the when it's got to be chewed has got to be bad instead of stepping back and say wait a second every case has to be evaluated and we'll get there but unfortunately i think some people are going to be taken down first just like she said well inaugurnat when he in good investigation starts with what we know and reverse engineer too hopefully you're how it happened uh and if you don't get that in you've been accused then you're not getting due process yeah hey hebert you have a blog or something that uh just here and you back on this deal was like a man i woke up then what will we can follow you i tell you what i've got them now i do afternoon drive monday through friday from two to five central time um.

"You'll not on our model that there's oftentimes a cut that goes from behind the ear all the way down to the throat another area that's obvious in these kinds of ritualistic cardi who beat pettigrew or the briefing room on the right and the left side the upper chest this oftentimes is the signature of the high priest another area that you might find satanic ritual carving he's in the stomach area and as was true in the same all we laugh about this stuff right we about that stuff but the truth is is that these accusations of satanic ritual abuse destroyed lives of course we can't talk about satanic ritual abuse without talking about the mcmartin trial the mcmartin daycare trial the mcmartin family accused of satanic ritual abuse of the children that they were charges over and for almost a full decade from 1983 to 1990 this was the trial that mesmerized the nation it was featured on geraldo rivera is 1988 television special called devil worship exposing satan's underground and he interviewed the parents of children who went to mcmartin daycare he talked to anton libai's wife yet osce osborne on and this piece of sensationalistic horseshoe.

"Will remain somewhat agnostic as to how big a problem this is on college campuses nationwide but where it is a problem it does strike me that has the character of foot here what i'm calling a'moral panic and they're and they're been other moral panics in our history in a relatively recent you and i are both old enough to remember the childhood sexual abuse panic in preah those yet daycare centres i predicted mcmartin greece cool and i sought to say that no child aggregates abused in a preschool but pretty sure none of those cases where those people were sent to life in prison were guilty i so i was amazed at a which try i was amazed because i i forget what year that happened by you know sp is missing the ainley 80s are you know i i was probably in college myself and my memory of the mcmartin preschool and i would ask our listeners who are old enough to know something about it to just take this test right now in real time my memory was that you know though there was some aspects of the case that were not as they first seemed basically some pain horrible did happen there and no no no are essence looked it up and it seems that what you have is a story of as you said something like a which trial where you had perfectly innocent people accused of impossible crimes and military sent to prison.
