We're Still Waiting on That Nathan MacKinnon Extension

"We are kind of living in the afterglow if you will of the Stanley Cup for the Colorado avalanche and Joe sakic sort of retooling a couple things still waiting on the Nathan McKinnon extension, assuming it's just a matter of time right here if they're working on a Mark. Yeah, I would imagine. I mean, there's a lot of work to be done. That one's going to get done. Those ones just take time, right? They time and a little bit of a little bit of caressing. You know, they've got to make sure you do it the right way. But McKenna is going to get one of them contracts like the Joker got. You know, like the big time Superman supermax. Supermax. You get a soup. You ever get a super max contract? I never quite did. So close a few times to just slip through my hands there. Yeah, I mean, Nathan McKinnon. The opposite is super max. That's what I got. So you never got one either. No, no, no, no, I never. I never was in a position to negotiate. Mine was my whole life has been organized begging. I go, can I have more money and they say no. Okay. Thank you. No, but seriously, can I have more? No, okay. I think they're going to say yes to Nathan McKinney. They are. Just a matter of time before we before we get that

I'd like to start by learning. What your first sort of exposure to religion was what your religious upbringing was like. So what were those early sort of years and religion light for you absolutely. It's funny. I listen to the show and so i kind of knew that this question was coming obviously ahead of time and i was thinking about how it's kind of similar to the question of like to tell your testimony that you get often in the evangelical church rate of like. How did you come to know jesus. and so. it's very funny to think about this question. Now in different position having not been asked it in a decade When i was in the evangelical church. I always said i had the most boring testimony of all time which i was born and raised evangelical My dad worked in a church and was bay was a nondenominational christian church so evangelical extremely and i was. "Tv appearance of any sort. And i didn't know any better and he didn't follow the rules so we got in there and we're shooting four episodes a week when nobody else was doing that. So literally set me up for greatness in any situation that i'm in and it doesn't matter if they forgot that they wanted to change this. This needs to be more this way. Somebody couldn't work on that. I'm prepared and i've learned to be the text of my own career. Because of him. He knows his stuff. He knows what he wants and he gets people he knows can deliver the things and the big part of it is he gives people opportunities that may not have otherwise gotten it Recently a fall from grace crystal. Fox's of an amazing being for for him to be like you know what. I'm gonna give you this opportunity. I know you kill it. Like those are the types of things that i hope he never ever changes even while he balls into everything that he's yeah just you know from what i hear. It's part of who he is. So part of the fabric is i mean you. You obviously have done your share of comedy and now this kind of series It looking at your career. It just seems like you have a really good base to be able to tackle anything and you kind of position yourself for that so kudos for that. I mean after this. I'm really curious to see what you'll do next. Thank you me. Too skies the limit at all absolutely. This is a really interesting concept of show. I love alternate history. As i said and you know answer those two words. What if and to the salem mccord's totally doug that and how that was go. She aided Cool thing i want to ask you about is actually. I talked to jessica. Recently and she's she's still in south africa because you can't come here to the states but about the uniforms. What's that how's that for you. Oh that thing right there was. It was such a pivot for me. You know you re great writing. You have an amazing concept. The cast is phenomenal. The people You know that are working in tandem with you are great and then you're alone in your trailer and you're over your lines and you know them and you've got your hair and makeup done but once you step into the close once you realize that it doesn't sit right unless you're sticking straight up once you realize that each stripe represents something you know. I have gloves at the other recruits. Don't get you know the general is established by this. You know it's it's a it's a shift in power you know. I'm giving my power to anacostia in that point so kudos to the costume designers for understanding how to make that evolution in an instant thing you know even when we're gonna training guards when they've got the the coke off there's still a.

"Needed to have a man you know. There was an establishment of we are lionesses. We are strength. we are wisdom. We are courage. You know all those things that are normally attributes to men. We're taking on and so you take in that safe and then when we finally start to introduce the man then it's like oh this is on this cake. Okay you know. But i i really love that. I didn't miss the norm. I never missed four. Oh cool i got credit. You i mean you played a music icon and one of the pointer sisters So kudos for that. I mean i mean. I pretty much in my youthful days. Appoint her sisters. I admired and yes we can. Can i used to god. I love that song. So what was that like to essentially play. My goodness tabart was actually my second time. And a. why do that with such caution Playing june pointer and the first person that i played with misleading. Houston in the bobbi kristina bio-pic understanding that you have to walk such a fine line with anticosti and nobody knew her. She's brand new. I created by go. It's a collaboration with elliot. Lawrence was the creator the writers render. Were all working together to bring this person to life but when you are telling the story and you're getting into the intricacies of who this person was you can't trivialize anything. You can't mock anything but you wanna tell the truth so getting to the point of june's issues and try my best not to take away from the artists and the trendsetter in the woman and the being that she was was very important to me understanding that people are still going to be watching this. That know who she was there still having attachment to her she was she was a district she was. You know there were so many different pieces that you don't want to make one field small or mock so it was. It was a lot of fun. I enjoy really getting to step into those colors and And singing that music and just really getting to participate in something that really did set trend And well with whitney whitney made me want to think periods where never met her. But she's saved my life. Her voice When i had the opportunity to play her But yeah it's gonna be great. And then once i actually started doing the research and talking to people and getting into those things behind the veneer. Then you understood why the caged bird song and became vying thing. I've ever done so all of that. Should say thank you to leave women but at the same time you know. I'm very very cognizant. When i take something like that on very in my travels i have spoken to a few people. That have worked for tyler. Perry a guy who's into first j.j. Abrams star trek movie too by the way but anyway i heard that he runs a really tight ship. But it's a very cordial ship and and people love working for that is a fact Where i got my start Doing his stage plays we toured with the browns for a year and then i moved to atlanta around the same time that he got the concept for house of pain so that was my first break into entertainment on a on a large scale. There's my first.

"You know. there's a scene where they're in training and rial and abigail get get into it because of their mothers and their past and she kind of let them get into it. Why do you think she did that she needed. It's see what comes in all forms and it's exposed in different ways. Some people use their power for bad which can be in the form of rage it can be a form of hatred and she needed to see what those powers would do on untouched. You know she wasn't gonna let it go too far but she needed to see what they knew to tap into and that was rage at that moment okay. How do we showed them. That's just as much power you have in rage. You have impede you have haven't love. You have invulnerability. you haven't wisdom. Who haven't still knit. So all of this is a learning lesson for each of them and she's using what they know to get them to learn what they don't Excellent you mentioned the bad and it's the spree who apparently d- do not care what they do is far as killing people They are affordable enemy and as we saw right in the first episode a little closer than we think to the to to afford salem. You know what. I've learned that. I really appreciate and motherland is that not. Everything is black and white theme. you know For example if you if you. I love broadway if you go to wait and you look at the show wicked right. Everybody knows the wizard of oz green which was a bad lady blah blah blah blah blah. But then we could take a moment and exposes why she turned into that then. It's not that you okay. What she did in the web. But you get a better understanding of where that came from. The spree is definitely the rogue element of witchcraft But they're really fighting against what they feel is tyranny. You know Volunteering your life for people who don't necessarily care for you understand you who have persecuted you. You know you're basically feel like you're put into slavery so bear fighting. They're causing in their mind. This thing is right now. They're methods suck. They're absolutely frigging terrible But that is why. I think that the grounding of who they are is still impactful because again you can use your power for good and evil it. It's just as important as who has the power. The alternate history aspect. I totally dig. I mean the shot of crossing the delaware thought that was. I mean it was there throughout the shaping of america. I know it's really wild. I had a theory too is when abigail visits her in her office and she has all these women around her. I got a strong impression. That in so you know the reason she stays so young is at all those ladies are might be. A part of. Her.

"Were not saifi talk papa. Typical behavior effects. What's it like care for you both to kind of things that aren't there. Well you know sometimes you have an experience anyway like gone in part because of the hopeful nature of genes vision but also because of its message of diversity and inclusion long and prosper high have dementia mckinney and she is one of the stars of motherland fort. Salem playing an cost quartermaine got. I love that name. That's such a cool name. What i like about her is on the surface. She seems like she's a tough drill sergeant type but she also cares for the people that are underneath her command. Yes striked tell me about striking that balance as an act. Oh my goodness. I've always tried to find roles that will teach me something and in kostya. I learned a lot more about my mother. My mother was a military person She she retired as a master sergeant in the air force and she was just so strict so grounded. She was so hard knows that a lot of time. But i felt like you know but i wanna be girly like you know. I wanna be cuddled. And i wanna be caught does but because she was a single mother she understood that she had to teach me how to be able to survive on my own very different than a military experience as far as war but just life in general and i took a lot of that in in put it into cost and now the other part of it is. I'm a single mom myself and understanding how to raise a young man boy that's different but boy beckoned off. I don't know his experience. You know and every few years every seven years he was somebody different. He had grown into a new part of who he was going to become. So there was. I had to figure out you know. Okay you act up real real bad that has fit that you only do in a little bit of craziness. Okay let me. Just sit down and talk to you and so i think that that maternal instinct is something that i really wanted to give to her to know it's great. Hey and definitely congrats your mom for her service. I mean that she sounds like coin. Lady thank you thank you she. Is you know one thing that's interesting about her is with royal in particular. Who's kind of a wild card about you know he. He talks to her. But why do you think she kind of gives her a break a little bit. I think out of all three of the girls. She sees pieces of her that she's not necessarily able to expose because that could be taken as weakness that could be taken down to and there's too much at stake but with brielle not having any real agenda only to be a good person understanding the losses. She suffered And understanding that she can go either way that rebellious nature can be a positive or a negative and i think that that's something that she was exposed to as a as fostering and akasa was an orphan. So i'm betting we haven't gotten much into her back story. But i'm betting that she had an opportunity to be that exact same person and Understanding that it took an alder to take her under her wing. Really show her what this was really show her love really show her that you know you're not alone and i think that loneliness is something that bonded her with rail excellent..

If you wanna make the good tillerson is up to you. If you wanna make the bad choice. He gives us free wheel to do whatever we want. God don't force you to love him. You're not gonna force you to do the right thing. Where he we let you know that this is these are the consequences of doing was good is at a consequences of doing was bay in because i love like day. You know that's always been always in the back of my mind like god if fat shoes this what where. We're my likely if i did choose this arm. Prove myself to be somebody. I'm not i'm not. I feel like that's why there is a lot net all artists but there is a lot of because maybe people are doing things that they didn't want to do in the first place. Did you ever have people associated with the family or friends that were like. Oh abbey you just to godly you just to have some fun going live a little. What would be your answer. My goodness yes. Yes such also you act like you two so crazy bed when you try to live like in beijing. I literally just wrote a song. East six talking about all arm of guy in it talks about in any in egypt's power tells us about the full arnold guy the the helmet of salvation a bracelet. Righteousness the bill of true. This is how you have to arm yourself when you in this world live and not just when you walk outside the door but when you wake up you have to spiritually be said you have to be protected by god and you need to not for. Take by and ashes man. I've oh goodness yes i have. I go karma maine's on this. I would never call the names but i definitely have people to look at me and saying you are so because me and my husband we love jesus we love our stated. We love trying to live a righteous life. Not just talking about jesus but really trying. I'm even had a friend. Tell me when. I would try to encourage turn. She would say whatever. Get fade liking. And i'm like that. What what it doesn't have to be instant or if it if even if it is instant it literally is the the size of a mustard seek you can barely see it so it doesn't have to be in and if you have instant faith it doesn't have to be this big field of fadiman. It is the size of a mustard seed in that way for a reason because of statements like that right but also to encourage people folks that are listening your faith can be developed it can be cultivated absolutely but you literally just have to start. You gotta start somewhere you have to. You have to an whenever you good to a point in your life when you say this is how i'm gonna live this to i am and you don't want no direction. No read direction from guy. You don't want him to help develop you. That is a real dangerous something either if you believe you can. You're right. Yeah if you believe you can't yeah right new show right. Yeah i say this all the time. This is probably my second or third time saying this podcast. But i believe your body and your spirit the mind body and spirit will align with eyrie thing you say yes it will align with you believe every man like even your body and your affiliate your body will leave on jesus. Your body will take on the posture of what you believe. Yes that's absolutely because the word. Tell us that we speak. I know it's a scripture that everybody throw ran out of time but there is taboo in there is live data in your tongue in what you speak up. Listen i i think i'm gonna have to give a friend of mine a royalty is. He's been on my podcast david imo so about a month or two ago ebi. He calls me so excited. Michelle oh my god. I just i just looked up with the word future. Means the future means something to calm like. That hasn't happened yet. he's no look up the second meaning of future. See with the say. Listen in his head means that time or period of time following speaking or writing all migrants. Because you yeah if you believe you believe you can't you're right so if you speak it or write it so i'm like okay. What are we going to speak in what we. What are we gonna and god. I want my body. yes. I want everything i touch. I want everything. I say i want how i wanted to file it. Your body will follow what you say so we have a hand in creating our future like you say life lesson that scripture the vision this reina scripture more don't believe it's scripture it's sowing reaping apply to everybody and when you start in when you keep speaking negative of your life. Don't blame for the that. Come out of your now. don't say. Well i can hear you saying that to your child one day with some happy because of what you said out of your mouth lugar true though. It is so true in this. I think it's so beautiful because even when you don't have out again even when you physically don't have it out together. "That. Something inside to republic greg goodson. That was the turning point for me. That said i cannot just be a a woman of guide. Be so in. Love with christ in my personal life. I need to do this musically because that is my loved. And i was praying about it and i don't wanna say that i was playing bet. The record deal somehow just vanished without early. Woes are really well as endless shale limited. You something. that is exactly what happened. Really really the did not come back on the law on live two seasons that ran in the same year and at the beginning of two thousand and nineteen the co founder of republic records called me. I remember i was still living in la and this. Has i remember that now. I'm okay yeah most lived in la for a whole year and the found commun- he said every netminder this record deal and get no type of Timeframe on there is no timeframe you just signed so they could have just shoved me. And i could've still been science. Said they wouldn't have been able to do music. Exactly how install when two thousand nineteen when he caught me. He said adding we love you. We love you so much voice. Not coming back on So pretty much week. It's nothing that we can do so you're free to go. You are free to sound if you sign with the music that you did right with us we could. We can work something out way you can still have your rights and everything and lo and behold. That's what happened in my heart. Single always since i wrote that song bringing the whole song that i wrote that song would meghan trainor under republic records and i. I was praying. I love the song so much because it was my autobiographical song. And i was like lord. I wanna put this out. I won't this be my first single in this. What had been. I pray about it. I believe that it was going to happen. And the law made it happen. And now i'm signed to motown gospel. An capitol christian music group doing goswami. An kristen music. That two songs on both radio stations in august eleven testament that when you right in believing in doubt question what god is doing how you gonna do. You gonna make you happy. Gum billet southern twang. maybe lord. Maybe you hear her prayers because she gotta such a nice southern twang jokes. And i'm a. I'm a minor comedian. I also don't want people to take your kindness or your southern this for weakness that learn. Just do anything to you and just say anything to you. I'm not making light of. It is actually something that i absolutely admire. Because it doesn't seem like you let anything that happened to you in that time period get you down and shake your fate because it could especially when you found out that the four was cancelled. So what are they going to do with you. Kept the faith and believing who was there. Any part of entering as the old folks say the secular of business was there any culture shock for you. Yes it will okay. The conversations about what is gonna wait for me because i was a black girl. I was shocked. I was shocked like ours. Shots weighed and twenty seventeen and nineteen. You're still we're still having to have these conversations in music. Yeah in music. As if there's not a blueprint of black women who have transcended wines right. I can't yes. So the fact that i came from memphis in like i'm like drowns Bayden they didn't care they want to do urban. What what. I don't even know what kyle like. But it's urban music and it has like this arm. This modern army has like this hip hop vibe to it. I was like that's not me. That's not me it out. It's not where that's not anymore. i come from. We still listen to isaac as owners rating. Turn that i grew up on earth win by. Yeah it makes me think of a k. michelle who was wanting to do country music and she's from the memphis area right now. Is yeah interesting. So you're saying that there was still conversation back as recently as twenty eighteen nam of what you should be doing musically. because you're black. Bring you in arm be urban. Yeah absolutely i started. I wanna ask started over thinking it. But when i was in those maidens in i will hear what they were saying was really didn't matter in a way because i was the artist in right my own so they would let me write mound stuff in but then i started thinking about. I don't know why. But i started thinking. Like what are these if they talking like this one of these people going make me wear because i'll be on stage won't won't that's not this is not hawaii. I'm michelle in the lower news day. And i think that's the reason to why it's so important that we align our wheels in desires with god's wheel you know this is so important because god put that desire my heart to you wanna sing a certain type of way in certain time not cursing in all of the to put that desire in me but i do believe that i had to go through that for me so that i knew that i wanted to single out guy i was gonna say is sometimes we are put in positions. I don't know if it's caught testing. Yeah but what is she. Really going to choose your. You could have easily. I mean. I five five followed you on instagram. Aw this time have had access to diddy. Yeah no you've been able to go to the house right. You know when he would have the or whatever. Nand i'm wiig. I do feel like that strategically places certain people in those environments like. He obviously already knew the decision that she were gonna make like to. There are two things i feel like. Either you're put in a situation to be tested or you're put in a situation because he already 'cause your trusted yes. Yes so the chew now for sure this is what they lied about his jaw here that we we like there are certain situations to be tested. Or.

And that just lets me know. We have to be good neighbors so with over. Nineteen thousand local agents across the country. State farm is committed to being good neighbours wherever our customers find themselves in their communities. Right around the corner when you need us like a good neighbor. State farm is bare. Paper goes returns with an investigation into a tragedy. That took place deep in america's heartland in a tucked away ohio town where a massive farmhouse belonging to a wealthy family erupted in flames. The finder everywhere. All four residents inside were dead. Not a single person died from the flames or smoke so the question becomes what killed them or more importantly who my brother says carol. Something's up there is too much this season. I'm not chasing missing persons flyer. I'm chasing a wanted poster and how the mob works. They don't leave anybody. I didn't want nobody to know. I think there's just been a wardrobe malfunction. Listened to bridgeton the official podcast on the iheartradio app apple podcasts or anywhere you get your favorite shows so even before you got with the four. I know you have been very honest even about the struggles. You've had with your family when you were young and how it helped shape you and prepare you for your life now so even say you may be struggled with gloria. I prayed for this estimates. Now you can actually get what you pray for but still feel unworthy of what you get Part of that is humility. Like god you answer an. I'm such an imperfect vessel of flog vessel and you still gave this to me. So grace favor and god is yet and give you what you deserve. I gave you what prayed for. Yes you know. Did you find yourself struggling with in the area of success. Did you ever fill unworthy of the win. Absolutely as a matter of fact it was. It was so much the night that. I want the episode that aired on tv. They took out so much. When i tell you because it was only six episodes in the first season in god bless me to come on the fifth episode. Come on the on the fifth episode and he blessed me to win the whole competition now. Said that ain't nothing. But god and of course my whole life are american idol. Try that for the boys x-factor doing the same songs idea on the four the same songs and they would always tell me you to all your age youtube issue to that and i'm like dane like how. How can i ever be myself and succeed at the same time. And then the law dombrowski created the how that night that i want. I literally stood up there in front of pd. Eighty minute meghan trainor. Dj kelly albums telling people. Y'all need to repeat your scenes. God is so good. I am not worthy. I literally said that the of course they took it out. But that's what. I fell in that moment. You two centimeters down late in you. Seventy percent of obeys and i am like lower does glisters baby blessed me and i've been feeling good feeling so good. Listen people always ask. What are sierras prayers. Have you seen that where people like. What is she prayed to was. I'm sure there are some women who wanna know evy. Prayers for these non nauseous pregnanc- just a gracious pregnancy. What were you playing. Oh what haven't. I prayed since i was a little girl. I like to tell people all the time. Like i grew. I'm the youngest of seven. I grew up in a big family. And i had a mother and father that just love jesus in they didn't force it on uh of course like a lot of people like to say before. Ceo you your beliefs in on this. But i got the privilege to actually experience mama like for real beat in her fame and leah back fate. And so my mom would tell me. As a little girl. Pray for your hoods as a little girl at the us missile tests. That i did because he my mom always for over and then rape Children pray for their children nestled idea. Didn't so the lord knows that. I won't allow key. It's because that came from a family. I do well a lot of kids. I don't know how it looked on. Give me but i just always prayed guides. We'll be done. And even if i was even if i did have like a really challenging pregnancy i know that the lord is with me he everything i if he mel have the so. I don't know why the low chosen. I bring zebra league now but i'm so grateful. Let me tell you. I am some great lists. Of course you've you have your own walk with christ. Yeah but your faith. Your mother helped to nurture like you said she didn't force it really but she she helped nurture and help cultivate. You know the faith that you have today and that's really a blessing. Evie and i think people feel like i feel like even some of the people who didn't grow up with a lot material wise here. You grew up with enough faith that helped you later on down the line materialize. What you have right now you know ask. Is your mother still here with us yes. She is a net is magar. Let me take a the momma is. She is just so amazing jets. You know the fact that she she has seven kids and my father passed away. When i was eight years to experience death really young have a mother that knew christ and never questioned him. Never tell us that we can't ask him questions but we we started questioning got his guy the nestling the problem start happening. Mom never did that in so it was kind of natural natural for me to always pray everything none. I not do think that if we had more of the in. I'm not only remember. The black army wing didn't even got attack about like the black maria will we could have but in the world if we had more people to teach their children instead of trying to question guide and saying well i wanna make my own way is already galas blueprint. His already is everything that we made. Tell you why. We can't talk about it because i feel like because of what was done to us even being brought from africa here during slavery. Sometimes that mentality has still flow through bloodlines of well. We were treated this way. Maybe we're not mitt to have or maybe we're just. We're just supposed to have enough to get by. There's i hear a lot of people say child. I'm just trying to get by in this lag. No you don't just have to have enough to get by. You can have enough to say you can have math. You can have enough to get by. Save inc gear and oh my goodness right so i want us to know that i think the sacrifices that were made and i think the people who have our ancestors that have come before us i know for a fact that first of all they want us to love god and love each other but i know that their desire for us is to thrive mess ryan to do great pain. Yeah and even if you do find a living in pace for them a given right now we we live in a culture like where they can so people out of there is so is so stupid to be honest. It's really another strategy of the enemy but when we know what we learn to forgive feel like you sat on book i was just reading. I'm literally on page right now. If you got the highlighted book you talk about town forgiveness not jays for that person as on friday. Not for that person. It's really for you. You lineup will scripture in in. Have the law tells us you have to forgive if you want me to forgive you but if you want me to if you don't wanna forgive me the don expect for guy to forgive you you and that is a really hard truth but that is what we had to do in this not so that we can give somebody a pass but is so that we can move garin like you nash. Strive and thrive in driving in your life. That is what you wanna wait. So.

Boris Johnson to pledge surplus COVID-19 vaccine to poorer countries at G7

"British prime minister will urge other wealthy nations to donate their surplus covert. Vaccines to less well-off countries. A virtual meeting of the g seven johnson will urge more money to be given to kovacs. The un initiative aimed at making sure global distribution of vaccines is done fairly. His call comes after accusations that nations who can afford it have been stockpiling for more doses than they actually need which joining me as a political reporter monocle. Twenty four regular events in mckinney. Good morning many demoting. What is boris. Johnson expected to say at the g seven this the first time that g seven has met since april twenty twenty s head of physical meeting in cohen will in gene and the prime minister. Getting to try and kind of lift the is above the horizon. He's going to say that between them. The g seven countries have ordered about a billion surplus vaccines and they need to make sure that they get these out through the kovacs scheme which will distribute them around the well to poorer nations in order to stop the creation and spread of new variants. The kinds of which that we've seen coming out of a particularly south africa and brazil. Which a have these variants which seemed to have some kind of Resistance to the current stock of vaccines. So he's going to be encouraging them that it's in all of their benefit to get those supplies out. This is an interesting move. Boris johnson because up until now there were seeming presidency of the g seven. But boris johnson hasn't really shown his face as a world statesman yet. This is his first real show outing. Yesterday as prime minister being about eighteen months hasn't because of the crisis brexit hundred have real kind of trips around the world going to these kind of big conferences. It's being accident entitled focused. So it'll be interesting to see how he deals with us. We have had an experience with him as foreign secretary before way either. He wasn't that rosa he wasn't top tables. But it'll be interesting to see how he deals with the g. seven and also we know that he's invited for the summer for the physical meeting. The leaders of india south korea and australia as well to form is being dubbed a d. seven democratic seven. And this kind of plays into what. Joe biden's also being talking about. He's been talking about a summit of democracies that he wants to organize because there is a feeling in international circles that you know you've got this multiple now that china is trying to sell an alternative to democracy yet. "McKinney, New York's attorney general, is accusing Governor Cuomo's administration of undercounting coronavirus nursing home deaths by as much as 50%. Well, the state has the nursing home death toll it more than 8500. In a report released, Attorney General Leticia James thinks that's off by thousands. She points to one example where our home reported 11 deaths, but her count was 40. Including some who died in the hospital. She accuses the Cuomo administration of on Lee counting deaths in the homes and not residents who died after being transferred to the hospital. The report also shows many nursing homes allegedly did not comply with infection control policies. Also accusations there was insufficient covert testing in homes in the early stages

A little light bulb. Yeah but then you see him give a big old bowl of like this huge like gaudy ones like that big old ball that he could not out. That is sickening. I'd be like just get a new. Just get out of. How many are here but just easier. If he's so gung ho about it like you would have a little bit more organized. As i mean he makes five hundred thousand a year. You could buy new ones every year but with agree that i guess we are. That is that is the show. Do you have. Do you have anything you would like to promote. I know you have a band in a new Oh shit yeah sorry. I i totally spaced. I'm i think i'm not tired. I got him but yeah this. This is an area good place right now. I bet place can feel the heat coming in. I'm i'm a little bit sleepy. But i'm good cozy. I don't have any cocoa and having you t want to sit by. Didn't want to have any weird noises while i was recording. 'cause i like weird noise is going on in background. This is me Yes this is movie. Police schenken see what laws were broken within. Say i mean there's quite a laws broken. I think and i think the griswold family is known for breaking a few laws throughout films there. Yeah i mean. They're not part of the mafia. As i mean i say at the beginning when you're driving to go get the tree. There is quite a bit of reckless driving. I'm sure is you. I'm sure you can get in trouble for yourself stuck underneath as much but somehow escaping without being in any immediate danger. I think that would be considered reckless driving. Maybe also out a lotta tailgating. There's tailgated well be fair. They didn't provoke you know they weren't the ones that started it. I'm going to give them credit. Where credit and do they start that they had no intentions on that whatever court should have been the bigger man and just because you know ellen doesn't want to be dead on christmas and exactly i mean she says that directly to them and the funny thing is he's always in a car incident and all of his national lampoon's film. Yeah i mean there's always the christie brinkley. Wasn't she the vacation than the european vacation. I mean i remember him getting stuck into roundabout a.

"And he just crawl out. Yeah i wondered to if he could just you know pure apart the wall and just kinda slide under. I don't i don't know if you wanna ruin the roof anymore. Or i mean you've already put a decent size hole in like in your done to fix it anyways. Like make good money. So yeah i mean you make five hundred thousand a year. I think you can. You can handle fixing your roof and you. You've already like property damage already too. I think that's why their neighbors his neighbors are so cool with like him ruining their house constantly like yeah they they seem to be padding quite alright like broken windows and like like it's fine and every other week. Whatever he makes good money he'll get us back. But i was actually gonna bring up the fact about the presence. He was putting away up there in the first place. Yeah pulls out a missing gift for mother's day and it took a little little wink to the audience when he pulls it out mother's day on the card underneath a nine hundred eighty three. Which was the release of the first nation. Movie came out nice little little wink wink a little easter egg for you on that one. I i didn't know that. Until i looked it up because it's actually kind of hard to read. Yeah unless you have a blu ray version of the movie. I guess any any guy. Like a four k tv and you can see every particle clark. Yeah i think. That's all my facts. I gotta spewed some facts. I throughout the whole show. have another one. I actually like The actress who played aunt bethany yes. may may may cliffdale. Yes she actually did. The voice for betty boop in the nineteen thirty cartoons and actually up until her death in ninety eight sheesh she Did the voice for her and sixty seven years even up to that point. She did like proteins. For example who framed roger. rabbit came out the previous year. She did the reuter. And that and a little cameo yeah. I don't know i kinda like that. I mean you can actually tell in her voice again no that fact that you can actually tell in her voice that sounds exactly like betty boop so is your house on fire. Clark knowing is presently. I've actually seen a couple of houses that are really decked out like that neighborhood actually got a couple of pictures. I think they're really cool. Nice but do they use so many strands. They don't have twenty five thousand lights. I don't think they don't twinkle twinkle. It is quite a spectacle that people go to that length. They really knew in real life that the you got to appreciate the art work that goes into it an ideal for sure. I love christmas. It's like are you are people like that's just it's not like i'm lazy then i get it like for me. I would never go to that length. But he's literally stapling those lights across like every piece of like citing. Yeah it's like like trying to get that off. I know but yes the effort man. You gotta you gotta appreciate that. That's dedication. He has for stuff he doesn't have to do because he loves christmas. And he doesn't want it to get ruined because he has he wants to wants to. Basically you also by swimming pool for is his kids so but because mr surely which i mean again he can't even makes that much he makes like two hundred fifty thousand less than what he said on this favor that he should make to get that bonus in well. He's doing well. I mean it's not like he has ten kids. It's not like yeah. I mean he has a lot of those. Here's a lot of the feed. But i mean he doesn't have that many mouse feed so especially i mean it says around the holidays so but i'm pretty sure i'm confident in this day. Him in the debt from home alone. They probably had the same job or they work for the same mob. Boss like you said so know theory. They're both in chicago. Same era yes. It can be the truth. It's i like that little. We'll story in my head that they both universes near that. They both have some sort of dark secret but the one that we see them as these two holiday movies like once their wife's jewelry yes it's like they like other universe that we created that they both work for mob bosses. Because that's that's the way they have so much money but apparently they're gonna. They're they're struggling. That's struggling nice. Add how struggling real bad. They're struggling fairly now. Eddie struggling but yeah eddie. Surgery on man. Well there's no longer full. So i mean we'll do it for you but all here's one little thing that i noticed when Ruby was talking to clark in the kitchen after he has this little pool fantasy with the laundry girl she catches them. You like santa claus and then she's just down and then like she mentions. Oh i had to go outside to go to the bathroom like she clark. She's like oh. I like that. I don't have to go outside. Go to the bathroom and stay here. But then like he's emptying the shooter like is quite why she has to say the shooter. Sel and like shitting. Stay that word. Sorry rock which isn't breaks. Our we use a shitty or shitting bricks where she goes shitting bricks. Yeah you shouldn't say that we're no never mind. I totally i had a brain fart on that one. It's my bad i have. I have another factor. Actually wanted to say it's a goofy little one so the part where the cat to on the christmas lights and gets electrocuted. Yeah apparently video executives and we're worried about keeping that in in fear of offending animal lovers but when they had a test audience apparently that was their favourite part in the movie. And so they're like all right. We'll keep it in there so many people into screening well so it's animal cruelty..

"That point to twelve. Yeah go ahead. No no now i do have one. Those like is is based off of a short story. Called christmas fifty nine written by john hughes and this happens to be the a well the film that you actually see clark watching when he is trapped in the attic by ellen's mom coup shuts the door when she wakes up in g realizes so cold in the hallway. She likes clark in there and he's washing the short film. It's actually called ex-miss fifty nine on the the school of thirty millimeter. Shot on or something and it was actually that movie that this movie was kind of the inspiration for a scene in a very funny way. Yes and i do have on that one. You know when he fell through rusty's room like why and he just crawl out. Yeah i wondered to if he could just you know pure apart the wall and just kinda slide under. I don't.
