Which is a product that will inhibit the germination the spores of the rest If, in fact it is rust. I cannot see the underside of the leaf. But that is my best recommendation based on this photo. Let's see. Who else can has a question. Okay. Good morning. Great shows always Thank you so much. So in page of two questions window, I plant my do Berries. If you have a containerized do Berries. They're rooted out in the pot. You can put him in the ground, right, Neil? On If on, I'm assuming that's what you have, or you wouldn't be asking me that question. Otherwise, sometimes you can get him in bare root form in January. Ah plan amount in the spring, but their you know their native plant the various or native so Um And then the other one is Ah, I have a Citrus tree that's in a pot on the ground. The roots have grown into the ground. I do not want it planted where it's at. Can I remove the tree? Without damaging it. So you're gonna have to cut the roots? Obviously, Joe and And most people would just call that root pruning. Ah, a lot of times we have to do that. It may Ah I don't know how big this is or anything like that. But When you do cut the roots to remove it from that location. You may find that you have to take back some of the canopy. Because you know, depends on how big the roots are that are growing into the ground and how dependent it is upon that, but I don't think you have a choice. If you don't want it where it's that you have to move it. Then you're gonna have to root prune it. And move it to another spot and compensate by removing some of thie. For canopy if you need to. Okay, Let's see what else we have here to talk about. Let's go to our next Okay, Here's another good text if Bluebonnets are already sprouting Does that mean they shouldn't be mode until after blooming next spring? That is correct. Richard. I would not move them and if they're in the lawn They're still going to be really little right now, if you need to move the grass and there in the grass, which you know, I guess you it happens. You just had to mow. Hi. Uh, because they will go ahead and come up. They need to get big though they need to get bigger. In order to sustain themselves, obviously, and to get the energy to grow into the plant that will bloom in the spring for you. So, Yeah, we don't want to move blue bonnets. I think that is one of the reasons we don't see Bluebonnets along the roadsides like we used to, because The fools that Mo that the roadsides really do it in such ridiculous times, sometimes not all of it, but ah, lot of times. I just go in there and mow whenever I don't know that I know they must have contracts with with the highway Department or what have you But I'm frequently screaming at him in my office. A drive up down 3 60, if nothing else, But, yeah, I think sometimes what they do is they go in there and scalp down. They scalp all the blue bonnets off before they have a chance to Mature enough to produce seeds, or they go in there and cut him before the seeds arrived in the and the spring the no seed production on the blue bonnet so that drives you crazy. That's just Okay. Speaking of that, let's Ah We've got a color online from vast drop about wild flowers. Hey, Leslie. Hey, I am just heard your other call about the wildflowers. And every year for my birthday in October, I throw out more blue bonnet. Dispatch, and they come out, okay, but there's the weeds around them are so big when they came at that it's Overshadows them, and I can't see them or enjoy them as I would like to. So I was wondering if there is something I can do about it now or later, because I know they're kind of a weed, so I don't want to kill them. But anyway, I'm trying to figure out how I can minimize the other week so that I could be live on in wildflowers. More. Yeah, I would think like we were just talking about mowing. Hi. You may have the weedy if I mean I don't know what the scenario is where you're at. But definitely you need Thio. Remove some of that competition because there They're shading it out now. Bluebonnets, of course, are by nature there that grow with other plants. So that be part of a meadow scenario. It's not like they can't take any competition. But if they're overshadowed, I mean part of the problem that we see again along the highways is that they're planning this really aggressive. You know, kind of grasses to re vegetate, and then they just crowd out the blue bonnets and overshadowed them primarily, I think So what I've got going on. So you're saying that like knowing early when they're about to come out? Yeah. Yeah. Cut the weeds down because, you know they're probably not going to be there all winner. I mean, they could. If they're weeds are probably gonna go dormant. I don't know what they are what you read czar, but it can't hurt to Mohan and and no high while the Bluebonnets are still little and get rid of some of that over shadowing situation. Okay, Perfect. All right. Well, thank you. You're welcome. Thanks for calling. Kill BJ. Today we have lines open at 51283605 90. We got a text. Remember? I was just talking about the grid pattern of the darker ST Aug. I guess it's same song Sing whatever kind of turf that photo was in the exact grid. And this person wrote in and said Cheryl. I used to get really green spots on my lawn where my male dog urinated. The female dog burns it, but the male dog left very green spots after he urinated there. I haven't seen the picture you were talking about for that lady, though. It's such a regular pattern that Cause you know, Normally, I would have thought of that, but is such a regular pattern? It's just bizarre. I mean it seriously as if somebody laid down a grid and said OK, let's fill elixir fertilized on each one of these spots. S so that's the only thing I can I can think of. Here's another good text. I have pots with pride of Barbados in Pomegranate 2 ft. Tall. Would it be a good time to plant now? Absolutely. Yes. Plant him the sooner the better. Because with the pride of Barbados a little plant like that it still has a couple of months before you know, we can expect Look at least a couple of months for we expect a hard freeze, and I think that would be good enough time for it to get It's little roots established in pomegranate, two pomegranates. "There's another great one today in the Washington Post. But say it's well, I'll explain how could there be a great one in the Washington Post, it is? Here's the, the it's an op Ed written by William mcglaughlin. William McLaughlin, is these social media manager for the National Rifle Association. Aka an RA the headline is I wish the gay community were more accepting of gun supporters, comma, I should know. Last june. I attended my first pride parade writes William mcglaughlin. I'm a twenty four year old gay man and the downtown DC event came two months after I started my new job as social media manager for the National Rifle Association. The district where I live is a liberal city gay, people are embraced guns are not. You don't have to see how the district votes to know that you can tell by the signs and people's yards the bumper stickers on their cars. They gay community is largely gun to at the parade. These worlds collided. I found myself at an event where I should have felt at home. But instead, I felt hated. It wasn't all in my head, people chanted and obscenity about the NRA as they marched down peace treat northwest. I don't understand why the LGBT community is so hostile toward the second amendment. I'd like to ask my fellow gays. To take a moment to consider this issue through a different lens. I longed for the day when the gay community will galvanize significant political might and work toward making practical changes. That would let gays better protect themselves. When laws don't. It isn't news that gay men and lesbians are frequently the victims of hate crimes in DC, crimes motivated by anti LGBTQ bias increased by fifty percent between two thousand sixteen in two thousand eighteen that's mostly reporting just by the way, then it is once again what a DC voted like ninety eight percent for for Hillary Clinton or not for Donald Trump or something like that. So I guess what it must be the other two percent that committing all these terrible crimes, but I doubt it from forty incidents to sixty one, according to statistics nationwide, blah, blah, blah, if we in the gay community. No, we are frequent targets. Why do we overwhelmingly oppose laws that protect our right to defend ourselves? Why do I find myself at party after party defending my decision to work for the NRA? Why does my wanting to own a firearm make some gay people? I meet accused me of being self hating, kind of strange. It's about intersection -ality, see when you support some left wing causes. You must support all left-wing causes otherwise. The mob will punish you so -cially professionally financially whatever they can punish you. They will punish you. They will meet out punishment. Why is the community that prides itself on inclusion and tolerance, so intolerant toward the second amendment? Welcome to the Dan spell the NRA, and those who believe in a right to self-defense here, the gay community is, so aligned itself, the anti-gun political party than it has become unable to see beyond party lines. Hey, you really I think you're finding out what's going on here? This is not a time for ideologues. It is. The fight is not over. We must because the left will never stop arguing and fighting about everything because that's what they do. They're just disagreeable maladjusted Mel, contented misanthropic miscreants. We must be nimble inclusive and open to new ideas and be four. We can be fully be all of those things we must feel empowered to keep ourselves safe. Now, he wrote this, this pace and was offered a position of the NRA. I felt my core beliefs where in conflict while I was considering the position friends urged me to say no, because the NRA was homophobic and only existed for old straight white men. Yeah, the Bill of rights is for all trait. White men join us it's pretty good being straight white men. But I convinced myself that I would be able to leave my sexuality at home and bring my second amendment passion to work. I took the job two weeks. After I started at the NRA's annual meeting, Dallas, Chris, w Cox executive director of the NRA institute for legislative action gave a speech that impressed me. He said we fight for you. Whether you're black white rich poor gay straight, because your life matters equally you have every right to be proud of it, and every right to defend it, and the National Rifle Association is proud to represent you. I decided to be open about my sexuality at work at the NRA the terrible NRA with all the you know they're terrible. People what I meant was nonchalance. No one cared. I was embraced, as a fellow second amendment supporter. Just like everyone else, I work with people from all over the United States from different faiths, and different races. Also. I'm not the only openly gay person we are United in our belief that no one takeaway, our right to defend ourselves stereotypes hurt society. He said, they put large swats of people at a box. That's what the democrat party does. They have a lot of boxes and they live in them. And they create a sense of otherness, they're all big on this otherness thing, the gay community has worked hard to remove it self from that box the values that unite us our tolerance acceptance and acceptance and personal freedom. We've come so far, but the journey isn't over what he's saying is that the NRA is much more tolerant than his own community, than liberal Washington DC than the gay community that the NRA is more open minded, more accepting more inclusive and nonchalant. And that's kind of it. It's like honestly I look around all the time. And I say that say, well, what is the what, what do you care? I this person's gay that person's black this person's Asian that presents panic who cares. That's america. That's the America was raised in the America, I believe in the left doesn't believe in that, that's not who the left is. That's not what the democrat party is. They're the party of division of racial balkanisation. Not just polarization, balkanisation of identity politics dividing, to conquer to create coalitions of the aggrieved intersection, -ality, you know, lawn peace. I'm reading right now on intersection -ality, and it's absurd. It is. It's amti-american. It's un-american it defeats the purpose of humankind sharing a planet of Americans sharing a nation a constitution, a Bill of rights and idea. Dare I say, and then he wrote the piece, and then the Washington Post published it and William mcglaughlin goes by Billy mcglaughlin on on his Twitter account says on Twitter, he writes interesting responses, to my Washington Post piece about being a gay second amendment supporter, the quote unquote, tolerant left called me racists, a traitor, ugly, fat a Nazi a terrorist. Homophobic and a disgrace. He's gay he's homophobic, just like any conservative gay person. And a black conservative is selling he should go pick cotton, and he gay conservative is homophobic, homophobic, I love that, how can they be homophobic is his again, conservatives called me, American patriot. A gentleman a trail blazer and a friend pound. Sign enough said. Just to cover that again. This is the article I didn't read the whole article that I read much of it and key elements. He is fascinated. Billy mcglaughlin at the NRA gay American in his twenties. Lives in Washington DC was hesitant to take the job at the NRA because his friends, you know, and liberals, he wrote this pro second amendment Bill of rights, right to defend yourself says gay, people should have the right to defend themselves. Either leave that to. And he says the tolerant left called me racist traitor, fat, ugly. Nazi terrorist, homophobic, and a disgrace conservatives called him an American patriot gentlemen, a trailblazer and a friend. And then he said enough said, that's, that's exactly right. Exactly right. Representative will heard is an African American Republican member of the house of representatives who was in his previous life, a Central Intelligence Agency, covert operations officer. He was out in the field fighting al-qaeda the bad guys. He was also one of the officers involved in the creation of their first cybersecurity. First generation cybersecurity stuff Representative will heard will no longer be speaking as cyber security conference after critics. That's lefties expressed outrage over his voting record on abortion. It's abortion heard a former undercover officer advocate for a cyber security on Capitol Hill was invited to speak at black hat. One of the biggest I think it's the biggest seiger cybersecurity conferences in the country being held in Las Vegas. Nevada in August, but tech crunch security editor Zach Whitaker highlighted. They on Thursday. What he described was herds, quote, terrible voting record on women's rights. Now. Wait a minute. What does this have to do with cyber secure? Let's start women's and this is what they call abortion women's rights. It includes voting against funding for Planned Parenthood K. All right. Supporting restrictions on late term abortions. Third tro in the kid can get walk around and go to school on their own. And they say that he let's see he opposed a program, supporting women in stem, science technology, engineering, mathematics fields, which is of course BS that was one of these omnibus bills that has the kitchen sink in there, and he voted against it for different reasons. But lefties, and let's just say that the Zach Whitaker guy is a lefty because he is. And he says, Representative will hurt. Keynote black hat speaker later this year. He's one of only a few lawmakers who get cyber, but he has a terrible voting record on women's rights, women's rights. And then Eva, keynote from, from a lawmaker who doesn't believe women should have fundamental human rights, fundamental human rights is third trimester abortion. Screw humans. What about what about me? Pretty amazing stuff, not a great way to make women feel welcome at the Infosec community. So now reasonable people are dropping out of this black hat conference because it's just it's been taken over by insane intolerant. Left-wing closed minded, baby. Slaughtering Arve, organ, harvesting, barbarians, also known as the Democratic Party. Yeah. Because they're tolerant tolerant. Of infanticide. They love infanticide. It's kind of their new bag baby. Hey, confederate monument and Nashville was vandalize vandalized with the words they were racists, because they're teller a confederate statue in Nashville. Centennial Park was vandalized late Sunday night with the words they were racist. It looks like spray painter. They looks like they threw a bucket of paint on it, too. It's a statue of on a pedestal confederate soldier with rifle kind of had no hat looks kind of defeated. Really the statue built almost fifty years after the civil war ended as meant to be a memorial to Tennessee soldiers who fought in the war paint was poured over the names of more than five hundred soldiers inscribed in a plaque on the monument. And Nashville metro police departments officers would be reviewing security footage is the first time this kind of vandalism as occurred as we well know university of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Poured red ink and some of their own blood do a confederate monument on the university's campus silent Sam is the name of the Satcher there. But because they're tolerant, they're very tolerant people. We know that they're very tolerant. You know, we should go to a phone call. Let's go to let's go the phones. Let's go to Lamar calling from Colorado. Lamar you're on the Chris Plante show. Thanks for hanging in there. Hey, lemar. So alter kinda he brought up an interesting situation where it kinda shows how you have to dismiss almost everything that liberals are arguing about because they're not really trying to make a valid point. They they don't those those are they're going out. Nobody wants those because everybody bought him, including us. And then what do you do you end up packing your stuff on a carry on? But you keep your laptop in the bag that is always in. And then you use that as like your your backpack, your additional bag, you don't leave your your your computer bag at home, take the computer out and put it in your carry on. Because what about all the other crap that you need every single day? That's in your laptop bag. Well, I do exactly what you just said. You don't do what I put it into a backpack that has its I'll put it into back bigger backpack. That has a bunch of stuff we travel a lot has already the only doing. I think you're you're pro subpar, you know, you you bring and I know I'm in judging you now, but you bring a regular backpack on a trip, and I'll do that if it's a short trip. But if I need some. Mm stuff to be packed. And I don't want to check anything up put it in that wanted to check anything. I'm checking something is that in interpreting that his judgment. I'm saying you must think it's better to not check something. Well, first of all, I prefer to travel with my big backpack because it has other things I there's budget pockets in there that have like hand sanitizer in moisturizer and sunscreen in all kinds of things that are just in there. Always that. I don't have him a regular backpack. And so I know that I got to do is put my laptop in there in fact for a while there. I had a completely duplicate set of chargers for all my stuff. I never had to take out of that backpack. Of course, I've got children. And so they've taken them either. They're gone. But so now, I just take it out of my I just take the little coil of like, you know, laptop charger phone charger watch. Charger, and I just move it over. And then I moved aniseed says simple man, see, I'm taking books. I don't just it's got a coup. It's huge. It's a hardback. What are we going to put that? I gotta have a big bag for that. See I think if I had a big bag what you're saying is really appealing to me like having everything. Oh, my back. You also should have. Lose ready to go. Don't duplicate your own toiletries. I would constantly I I would come back from a trip, and I would I would carry that around forever. Because my laptop back basically has all that stuff in it hand bomb hand sanitizer multiple headphones. Chargers all that stuff. Is there anyway, for my everyday I travel every time I move I'm traveling to Nikola true. So that's that's what I do. But then I also like pack up freaking big piece of luggage that I gotta check that has everything including a pillow given the upcoming episode of GM that we're that we're packing a pillow for us not on the plane, but in the hotel room..

"To be in some places this idea that you shouldn't have to work to get paid. Woman by the name of Nicole mcglaughlin. She's from the Saint Augustine Catholic church in south bend, Indiana. I think everyone can work should work. But the way to get people into the workplace not motivating them by punishing them and taking away their health care, and that's what we're fighting for. It's a fighting to here at least in the state of the Anna annual might be saying another states abandoned plans to make people prove they're working to be able to get government healthcare. I don't know why that's a bad idea. Why is it a bad idea to say work get out there doing something contributing? Why is this such a bad idea? Why in the world would we think that somehow? This is punishing them. To Nicole mcglaughlin. Of Saint Augustine Catholic church in south bend. I believe you're mistaken. It is not punishing them. It is making a statement to the contract that we should put in place with ourselves. Then our issue is not care. Our issue if we were to say, it is an issue is to ensuring the care goes to the right people and that those who can do. That we are not a society of givers and takers. But rather we are a society that actually cares about each other. And the way we show that care. Well, that can come in many, many different ways. I never said it had to come in in terms of paying large scaling taxes. There's plenty that can be done. Given shared worked on at cetera. That is that is helpful. There's nothing wrong with saying to people we are here to help. And you also need to be here to help. I think that's valuable. I think that's important. And I am I am kind of stunned when there are people who are out there like, oh, that's that's that's that's so rude. That's so wrong. It's not wrong. It's not wrong at all. In in a couple of different places, she's discussing how people may have mental health drug abuse problems are able to work, but still need diabetes or blood pressure medications. If you want to engage the carve outs, you're more than welcome to. But why is it that those people who are writing the check have no right to any type of standards to the check that they are writing. They're not entitled to say. Hey, we're going to give here. But we want something in return. Why is that so offensive because there might be someone out there has mental health drug abuse problems? Okay. Are we now to believe that anybody who has a mental health issue? And I don't know what we consider mental health issues in this case is unable on every level to be of service. Well, there's somebody who's completely incapacitated in that way. Who can't do these things? All right, then that's a serious mental health issue. But if we're talking about some other type of mental issue that would that doesn't keep them from in some way, contributing to where they live to where we all live. What is what is the issue? What is the issue? It is it is to my way of thinking very very backwards. Very backwards. To come to the conclusion that it's wrong to ask people to work. You're going to immediately go to the idea of the carve out person as opposed to the main the increase in expanse of Medicaid has put people on the system who do not need to be there. And they are keeping other people from being able to get the help they desperately need. Let's start with that. And of those people we should demand more than just work. We demand that they get off the system.

And then I switched over the Honey wheat whatever wiser never become just an everyday beer. Or is. It only seasonal we. Probably will not bring half of is in back in cans. It will come back on draft potentially during the summer. But I just found like that beer did not age as well. As other beers in the can. And it's just for me. It was just not something that was acceptable to me. I I wanna make sure I put the best beer out there. And I know it had its loyalists. I apologize for pulling the rug out from under there. But look for it on draft during the summer. But I think cans, unfortunately, you might not see it. No. That's all right. I switched to the Honey wheat, and that's just fine with me. But that was really good. So appreciate it, man. Thank you for staying a loyal customer. Yeah. Thank you. Thanks for calling Todd. And that's that's pretty cool. I mean, you admit you've got your own quality control going there. And it's it's kind of refreshing to hear that you go. You know, what not meeting my standards? Yeah. Did you ever not live in Columbus? No, no, no. I'm pretty much Columbus native, okay? Because I was gonna ask what brought you back. But it it just sounds like it was the end of the tour. I guess brought you time time who made you wanna play. I grew up in a very musical family. My grandparents on both sides played on on one side, we have bluegrass and old country. And on the other side, we had a rock and roll show. Ben. When you say rock and roll show band defined defined Aachen's fifties, sixties rock and roll. Okay. Early soul music for for people. That may not be familiar with you. I nobody likes to be categorized or compared to. But I gotta admit I was listening to your latest CD this afternoon, and I couldn't help. But think of kind of like Robert Cray, would you? I appreciate it. Robert Cray, one of my favorites. Okay. And so no, you're happy with that. I'm happy with it. Are you working on something new right now? I am I'm not recording anything yet. But that I'm working on songs that have been stacking up. Since the last CD. And what would you say about your music is it traditional blues contemporary blues blues rock something I'm kind of known in the blues world, but you know, I don't think of it as this is fairly straight blues stuff. I I kinda pull from everything country American music is what I play. Okay. And well, I guess that kind of answers my question because you know, nobody likes to be specifically categorized or tied to a certain thing. You just do what you do. And. Feel like it it sort of fits in into the blues John fits into Americana, and maybe country rock a little bit of everything and where can people see you perform every Tuesday.
