The Real Story Behind The Don McGahn DOJ Subpoena

"Great website. Theresa Munro Hamilton reports that the Department of Justice under the Trump administration secretly subpoenaed information. And former White House counsel Don McGahn, a Democrat. Rep. Adam Schiff, it was leaked to The New York Times, of course, seem to be falling apart. There's no real spying allegedly took place. The story was written by Michael Schmidt. He's a hack Charlie Savage, a hack. Reported quote that the DOJ secretly subpoenaed Apple for personal information on again and his wife in February, 18. And then barred Apple from telling them about the reported move during that time period under a non disclosure agreement. The devil appears to be in the details here, and this may not be the breaking story. The media are apparently running with Schmidt tweeted quote New DOJ secretly subpoenaed Apple for personal info of Trump's then White House done council dime again and his wife in February, 18. The O. J. Bard Apple from telling them at the time, But three years later, May 21 Apple told them. It's unclear what investigation it was related to Clarifying an interesting tweet was then issued by Savage. The co author. Quote, Apple recently told Don McGahn, Trump's former White House counsel. That the Justice Department had secret collected data about his account of a February 2018 subpoena. Caution. You can't conclude from this fact them again was intentionally targeted. It began was not intentionally targeted. Then the whole story is evidently not what was purported to be, You understand, folks. That is for investigating a leak, and there's a whole bunch of people that they're looking into. They're not supposed to investigate a leak. Apparently, that's the case, particularly if it That benefits the Democrats and hurts the country. The accusations do not go into detail about the DOJ investigation. It's unknown what federal investigators were looking into. Even if McGann himself was their primary focus, or whether it was somebody had contact with Apple reportedly did not inform again what they had turned over to DOJ. Report did state that Apple received them again subpoena weeks after another subpoena was issue that was connected to leaks and the Russia probe. The subpoena involves records belonging to California Democratic representatives, Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell. Again. The subpoenas were ostensibly an attempt to identify individuals who leak classified national security information. During Trump administration and were not specifically targeting shift. Episode 218: A Hunter's Connection to Food - burst 06

"Died much into the world of a cooking wild game and fish. Yes yeah. I have gotten into cooking a lot more over the years right away. I mean i would go hunt like like geese canada geese and i would shoot them fund shoot. Now then i'd be like crap. Now we gotta eat them now completely turned around. Now it's It's actually really interesting. I always so. I'm not a big wine drinker. Alcohol in general but which But i do know enough people who like wine and i know that wine You know it's an acquired taste. There are a lot of little tiny little flavors in wine Tell you about how the wine was made. It was made of and so on. And so forth and i compare that to wild game especially ducks so all the duck species they have different diets. And where they you know migrate to or the area that they live in. Even each individual dock of the same species can sometimes have a little different flavor. And so it's really interesting. The more you eat while game the more you can tell the differences between The you know the different species of duck and you get to enjoy You know that game year taste of duck or geese or whatever species that you're hunting even big game you really enjoy the you know the wild flavors of it. Because it's i mean it's all edible matter you having you know being able to put it down but but i like i like that analogy the wine the different varieties and flavors found in wine in comparison to like doc and and other game. But yeah more. I more specifically especially duck man. There's so many different flavors and you've got people it's like nope. I don't wanna drink wine. Don't wanna drink more low. I don't wanna do that and people don't touch mcgann's i don't touch duck. I don't you know there's so much variety out there and yet people it's like it's all it's all all eat exactly and the best part of it too is if Epa duck doesn't taste the best or any any game species doesn't taste the best just raw. You know like like you cook it up. No seasonings on it. You try it like you can really learn what how to best conquer that flavor that you don't like you can knocked flavor right out of it. I mean i cook duck sometimes like the the Game easier species that i like Diver ducks or seahawks even They have a really strong flavor. But as long as you like saute onions and mushrooms and put in some good in it and really cook it in it for awhile. you know. Origin dice Or you can marinate the doc Either teriyaki or anything else. You can even marinate it in wine red wine and There you go. I mean so there retiring wine and wild game back together. We'll circle have you ever you ever eaten much am lope like pronghorns. Don't think i've had antelope It might be primorac. Might be the only species that i haven't had yet like north american species but i wanted to put it. Yeah you gotta put on top of your list. it's a. It's one of my favorites. It's like kind of a. It's become almost a yearly yearly pursuit to get it. But it's it's funny. I was up in wyoming and you know the one of the local guys is in the store wearing a gas station. Wait in line news like how you doing you know told me about my hunt and everything. And he's like well next year brings some buddies shoot twelve of them. Can't stand those things. And i'm just like i think they're great but they just have this. You know some people have this perception of measures like nope. I'm gonna pass but It it makes me think back to like the very first time i had an lope and i was preparing it. And everybody's like you got you got to you. Have to overcome that sage kind of flavor. That's know that's a lot of their diets primarily the sage and they're like it's it's really strong and i was like whoa so we. Do you find something that compliments sage. I mean it's it's pretty. It's pretty easy to find things that you can pair with sage. I mean you like think about Recall it like cornbread dressing or or stuffing all that you put sage in that right. So what are some of the components that are in just that one dish like then all of a sudden you start playing around with it and through a lot of research. I found Not a lottery search but through some Found like yeah. Citrus pairs well with antelope so like or orange juice. Lemon lime like things you wouldn't normally think would be in in the central plains it all but hey you know what it works and it not only does it sort of move past that flavor that some people may not like it. It enhances the taste of the meat. So yeah it's one thing that's that's the fun part of Cooking wild game as you. You really want to go in the field harvest. Something and then be able to eat it. You know it and you to it almost makes you like if you go to the store and you have the choice to get something. That's like super flavorful. That you really enjoy or like a less enjoyable piece of meat right And i'm not. I'm not saying that You know that's that's up to personal preference on what each individual likes but when you go out and hunt something and if you're passionate about hunting and you love the thrill

"Yeah. So today we're discussing Michelle. mouton. A woman. We've this is this the first time we've discussed a woman on the show. This might be the first episode dedicated to a lady. which is a bit embarrassing. I would say so yeah. But no better woman to start off this trend with and Michelle. She is easily one of the best rally drivers ever. She's a beast. So I'm really stoked that we can tell the story even if it took us a little while to get to it, that's on us but but it's interesting because motorsport is really one of the sports where women and men compete against each other as true like she's not the best. Female driver ever. She's one of the best rally drivers at. Yeah. Regardless of gender she's one of the greatest. and honestly like just watching a video of her rally driving makes me sweat. Over, yeah she's like she's the person who when we talk about. Like rally cars now are all-wheel-drive. Wheel drive. But when Audi showed up with quattro and just started smoking everybody that was Michelle. Meantime that was young Mouton Bay. mouton on the track. Yeah I mean. To your point James like drag racing of course is or was kind of dominated by women at one point all the force sisters were just tearing it up. There's really no reason. For it to be separated by gender in in Motor Sport Really of course right now there's the there's the W. series, which is a like a women's open-wheel series. At I think that's more for them to kind of get exposure and it proved themselves in like a formula car but I'm looking forward to seeing some of those drivers come up in the formula. One. Soon hopefully, it would just make it more interesting for crying out loud if nothing else I agree let's get into it a. all right. Let's fired up. All Right Michelle Mouton entered this world on June twenty third nineteen, fifty one in the French Riviera more specifically the idyllic town of grass cross grass Ross. The Idyllic town of Gross France, the perfume capital of the world grassi surrounded by fields of aromatic flowers and home to Francis. Oldest perfumery GALLIMARD. Look I'm friend by far French is the language that I have the hardest time pronouncing both words and names I apologize profusely to anyone with a modicum of sense of how to pronounce stuff I. Think you're doing great. I think I think here like right there. Thank you, Joe, unlike many drivers whose family have a history in the sport returns family made a living growing roses and jasmine for the perfume industry mouton spent her youth skiing doing ballet and excelling in school. But just beyond the flower fields sat the mountain. Stages used for local rallies and wouldn't be long before the engine notes trickling down into the valley beckoned to Michelle mcgann discovered her love of cars at fourteen years old when she would steal her father. Pierre's Citron to seavy and take it out for joyrides. Quote for me at the time a car always meant freedom and independence she said but driving wasn't something she could possibly see a future in it for anyone to envision that path for mere enjoyment to making something your life's purpose but you could argue this especially from. Models for women on the racing stage were few and far between. So after graduating high school Bhutan took up odd jobs working as a ski instructor, a Care Assistant in a home for the disabled and eventually at her father's insurance company until she began studying to be a lawyer but something unexpected would quickly put an end to that career path her entry into a competitive rock and roll dance contest.

"Funny. The Democrats Jerry Nadler in his munch on the judiciary committee. Impeach trump. They wanted to call on Mcgann Trump's lawyer that spoke to Muller for thirty hours and submitted gazillions of documents. And of course, Trump has told all these people, you're not going up there and talking to these people, they don't get a do over, so you're not going. He told hope Hicks, you're not going nobody's going. Nobody's gonna talk to them, which is the right thing to do. Trump's already participated in this so-called investigation, the Democrats, you know what they're doing? They looked at me. I told you the Democrats cannot innovate everything that's happening today. They try to fit into something historically. So in this case, they're trying to make all of this with Trump Watergate. And so event analogy. Don Mcgann is John dean, John dean, turn states evidence on Richard Nixon. The guys that went in there and revealed the White House tape system. And then it called Dina Narran dean, totally turned on Nixon. So since they can't get Mcgann. They're calling John dean. The calling John Dina testified, he has nothing. He has no knowledge, nothing whatsoever. He doesn't know diddly squat about what went on. In the Trump campaign, Trump presidency. The Trump White House and the Democrats know that, you know what they say the reason why they're calling him will will you may think it's crazy. With John dean, understands cover-ups, we're going to bring John dean in here with his expertise in cover ups to tell us how Trump is doing it. In John dean's gonna go, John dean is eighty one years old. Which not that much older than plugs, lugs Biden. Here's here's Mary Portland, Oregon, I'm glad you called great too heavy with us on the EIB network. Hello. Hi, I'm calling about the story about the NBA team owners, not being able to call the owners anymore because supposedly would make lacking players feel like they were being on the matter is slavery. Slavery at twenty players players are our employees. And, you know, so there's no oppression there and it's part of a bigger problem that apparently has they're looking for oppression everywhere, and they just can't find it. It's just like Justice, more s you know, wanted to be a Chris, but there was nothing there. So you had to make it up, and it's, it's just showing up lorrimore everywhere and this is exactly right. This is exactly right. Great point. They can't find this stuff. They gotta make it up. And then after they make it up. They have to try to sell it to people is real, which is what this is. I think it's time for us to give it a name. And I think I've got one for you. It's oppressed. Herbaceous. The act of simulating oppression. When you can't get the real thing. Run that run that by being oppress. What? Turbay Shen simulating oppression. When you can't get the real thing. Oh, Chris Turbay Shen. Yeah. What, what is it a? What is what word forms the route there? What is it a derivative of oppression? Well, it's, it's, it's a derivative from people getting sexual pleasure. When there's nobody else around. Okay. So you're, you're taking a syllable from the word masturbate, a new putting in, in this to oppress, her Bachchan. Right. Because it's something that is something that the list and these grease huckster want. But there's, there's none of it around. So they have to simulate it themselves. So basically we're talking about fake orgasms here. Kinda so Joe or take orgasm. I'm just trying to help people in all realms of the audience, understand your point, and it's and the vision, it took me a while to get to the root there. And I Finally I thank you for being honest about it. Yeah. About it is, I think it gives it the credibility gave a psychological orgasm. I know we're talking about the dream living the dream. Right. Right. But you're. Exactly right. They are. They have to make up there, isn't any slavery. They have to make it up. Then they have to try to convince people that there is slavery. There isn't any racial oppression speak of anymore, so they have to make up and the same thing with, with women and all that. Which, by the way ties in with the fact they cannot innovate and they cannot accept an improved America. They cannot accept a reformed, America. Just looney folks. I mean they're literally the mentally, not all there. The fact that we treat them, analyze them. Rationally is one of our first. E I b Chuck.

"Right to Mr. Mcgann, and a number of other witnesses asking for him to voluntarily provide documents and testimony to the committee. He says, no his lawyer says, we're not going to come in voluntarily house. Democrats are throwing down another gauntlet tonight in the increasingly bitter battle over the Muller report, there would be point man for impeachment judiciary committee, chairman, Jerry Nadler, has subpoenaed, a key White House, insider, and a feature. So the committee authorizes and then issues a subpoena for him to produce relevant documents that he had handed over to the special counsel, and to come in this Tuesday and testify before live television cameras, in the House Judiciary committee, hearing room. So that's essentially, where we were on Monday wondering, is Don Mcgann going to show up. But by the early afternoon we start to get wind that he's not going to show up under order from the White House, not to appear President Trump escalate, his stonewalling of congress today, directing former White House counsel, Don Mcgann to defy a congressional subpoena, and skip a House Judiciary hearing scheduled for tomorrow to the White House has said don't go right? So the White House comes armed with a Justice department office of legal counsel memo that says the president's closest advisers are immune absolutely immune from congressional subpoenas in don't have to appear for testimony. Impartial people. The Democrats trying to win twenty twenty they're not gonna win with the people that I see. And they're not gonna win against me the only way they can maybe luck out and I don't think that's going to happen. It might make it even the opposite. That's what a lot of people are saying the only way they can look out is, by constantly going after me. On nonsense now that left Mcgann himself with the choice. He's no longer an employee of the White House. Lawyer back in private practice at the firm where he used to work, and while he can use that as a shield to protect himself from the committee, he himself has to make a choice whether or not to go and a difficult one because he is basically deciding between being held in contempt of congress, which even in this hyper partisan era is a, you know, Dane, but on the other side, he hasn't wanna run afoul of President Trump not only because Mr. Mcgann continues to move in Republican circles, but the firm, he works for does quite a bit of business with Republicans. And if the president were to say blackball them, it could have pretty grave ramifications. So his lawyer by late Monday night, says, I'm sorry, chairman Nadler. But my client is not going to be showing up on Tuesday morning. Basically he is going. Follow the White House's instructions. Not tonight. That's correct, Mcgann says. No. So I have to assume that the Democrats are furious because this just keeps happening. They cannot get anyone in the president's or bid to testify. Door after door after door has been slammed in their face. So they've already gone through this whole back and forth with attorney general Bill Barr, who ultimately, refused to come in and give testimony. He then refused to handover material that they had subpoenaed. Some of the underlying documents in the mall, report and extracted President Trump to claim executive privilege over it. You have the case of Bob Muller. They're trying to call in the special counsel himself to testify and have been yet to be able to agree to a date for that to happen. And one that as of Monday, had still been open was Don, Mcgann their central star witness in an obstruction case and so Monday night as they're getting ready for a hearing on Tuesday, where they know that this guy is likely not to show up there just fuming. So what are they actually do speaker? Pelosi with her caucus chattering about yet. Another subpoena walked into a series of meetings with her Wieder ship team with party leaders, chairman, kind of senior figures of her party that as they say, are the kind of steering committee of the democratic caucus in the house. Now, remember that Pelosi herself has been one of the leading critics within the Democrats of impeachment. She said Trump isn't worth it and it's too divisive for the country. So. Pelosi begins to talk about her frustrations that the war between the legislative and the executive branch is over shadowing House Democrats legislative agenda. They've been passing big democratic priority items healthcare bills, to shore up the Affordable Care Act. They passed last week, the equality act. It's funny as you said that I just realized I didn't know that something called the equality act was passed Trump is sucking, all of the oxygen out of the room, and it's a problem, and she's essentially throwing it out there to the group to discuss in lamenting it. And that's when Jamie Raskin, a second term, congressman from suburban DC on the Maryland side, he's got crazy. Head of hair, a constitutional law professor jumps in and says Madam speaker, I actually I have a suggestion on this point and Raskin essentially makes a pitch. That's on the minds a number of judiciary committee members. Several of them are sitting there with him. And he says, I think that the time has come and we ought to consider opening a formal impeachment inquiry. You say you're concerned about this fight overtaking, the rest of our work, this will allow us to centralize all the fights over subpoenas in documents. It may give us better standing in the courts to get information and help judges expediate are cases. And you can point to this thing when people ask you questions and say, hey, it's ongoing. We await their recommendation and keep going about your work. What does he mean by centralize? What's the argument? So right now, you have roughly five different house committees, that are asking the White House and Trump businesses and individuals for information that are potentially relevant to this impeachment question. And he's basically saying, hey, we're all getting shut shutdown, and we're being told by the White House that we don't have a legitimate reason for doing this and we're just kind of going on a fishing expedition. So hey, if we open an impeachment inquiry we can say we. We do have illegitimate purpose. This is a foundational purpose outlined in the constitution, and we need that information, and it would make the judiciary committee, a kind of clearinghouse for those five committees. Looking for financial information on the president looking for testimony or grand jury information about obstruction of Justice or Russian election interference, it would in his view strengthen the Democrats hand in this fight against the White House. And what is Pelosi's reaction in this room to this pitch for opening up impeachment hearings? She essentially says we need to stay the course we've put in place strategy. We're going to issue subpoenas. We're going to conduct our investigations. We will hold witnesses and contempt. If they defy those subpoenas, and we'll go to court to enforce things, and we think it's starting to work. But how can she argue that, that's working when she just learned that yet another person around the president has thumbed his nose at a subpoena? Well, just an hour or two before a federal district judge here in Washington had ruled in a largely unrelated case that a House Democratic subpoena for Trump financial records was legitimate and importantly, the judge rejected an argument that the Trump administration and the president's lawyers have been making almost every request that the requests are not legitimate, and exceed Congress's oversight authority a judge said, no, it's not up to the courts to decide that. And it's up to you decide that congress has its investigative prerogative and no one on a second guessed then. So Pelosi says look the courts as we end -ticipant it or siding in our favor. And they're going to this process may be slow but in any case, the American people are not on board with impeachment yet. And we have time to let this play out. There's more road to run and we can see once we get farther down that road if. An impeachment inquiry is warranted right now, it's not..

"Want Mcgann they want Mcgann because they think Don Mcgann, former White House counsel will be able to nail Trump on witness tampering. The White House will will exert declare executive privilege after the Democrats subpoena Mcgann to come up and testify. Now, they know that Trump is going to invoke executive privilege. The flood letter makes it clear that they're going to invoke executive privilege from this thing going for what will happen then democratic start screaming cover up. All they've got is to say this Watergate revisited. And they're going to try to make Mcgann John dean. And James McCord and all the Watergate butlers. They're going to try to make Mcgann be the guy that brings down Trump. But here goes executive privilege, so Mcgann will not testify. The Democrats are looking this as a win win. If Mcgann testifies they get to talk about witness, tampering if Trump invokes executive privilege, then they're going to say, it's a Watergate cover up, and this will allow them the orgasm of pretending. They've got they've got Watergate ago. My God in the media is going to be Watergate all over that can contain themselves. Now, the White House. The Trump team knows all of this is coming. That's why they are now moving quickly to try to convince the public. This is over. There was no collusion. There was no obstruction and the polling data on public sentiment for impeachment indicates that that message pay what it means. It means that the only thing the public cared about here was collusion with Russia. They don't care about obstruction. They'll come at any of this as long as there was no collusion with Russia. The public is satisfied that the election was legit. And it's over an anything done to keep this alive. Runs the risk of irritating people and making them frown, shall we say on the Democrats Democrats are trying to continue to perpetuate this hoax. So I think since the Trump team knows full. Well, what's going to happen? They've got it all gamed out, I think you can expect we can expect rapid fire disclosure of the inspector general report. I think we're going to get rapid declassification of the origination. Documents the Faisal warrants the stuff that Trump's going to declassify bars investigation into the origination of the investing. I think this stuff is going to happen. Rapid fire. I don't think we're looking at years for all this play out. We're looking at months for this play out. And I think any indictments. For anybody in the FBI or the DOJ who lied to investigators who actually conductive spy operation on the Trump campaign. Anybody who lied to congress Komi has or anybody leaked classified information that list as long as your arm? The New York Times Washington Post survived for two years on the leaked classified data. I think you're going to see all of this be made public rapid fire. We'll see time to go back to the phones. And we're going to start in our van Ohio. This is Lottie. I'm glad you waited. It's great. They're heavy with us alot. It's an honor. Thank you very much. Great to have you here too. Well, I have some run past you. And I want your thoughts on it. I think the crap is gonna hit the fan after may eleventh and rod Rosenstein is gone. And that's when the declassification could happen. And I'm not sure what I think beyond that. I don't know if they need rod out of the way, whereas he going to scream on people. You know is he with Trump is he against home? What are your thoughts on that? Based on that, which I have just laid out. I actually don't think Rosenstein Rosenstein to major factor in this going forward. The reason the reason and I could be wrong about this. But I don't think whether Rosenstein instilling the deal Jay or not is going to have any impact at bar. Does it ain't gonna have any impact on Trump declassifying? Now, the reason people that Rosenstein of major players because up to now he has been he's been the guy. That was refusing the classify for Devin Nunes members of congress were demanding that these documents these origination. Documents number of other things that explain how this all began in why? And who did it Rosenstein said, no over my dead, buddy. So people thought Rosenstein is on the side of Mahler and the and the Democrats, but I. Wanna remind you that when bar announced his press conference to announce that this reports got nothing in it Rosenstein was one of two people standing behind him. I heard numbers of differing theories on Rosenstein involvement here. Here's Trump protector that he was part of the cabal running the hoax the scam against Trump. I don't I don't think that whether he's still at the DOJ or not may eleventh. I think the resignation. I don't think that is a factor going forward unless unless it is known that he has had an obstructive role. In unearthing, genuine obstructive role in in people trying to get to the bottom of this. Then he's going to pay pricey may be. One of the people who's interviewed by the inspector general or has been but I did just because he leaves office does not I think open gates. I guess it's the best way to answer. The question the floodgates are gonna open whether he's there or not. But we know he's leaving and may eleven resigning. He wanted to resign weeks before this. And they asked him to hang on. I'm not I'm not trying to be disrespectful to your opinion. I'm mindful of the fact that a lot of people think Rosenstein was one of the major obstacles, and and Trump and one of the primary assistive. Wheels. Shall we say the whole Muller investigation effort because it was hey, it was Rosenstein that chose Muller was Rosenstein that. Would not intercede. But my mother has known for a year and a half longer than that that Trump did not code. That's why this we have to have the bottom of this. He's known that he ruined people's lives in the process while knowing that there was no reason to people's lives have been ruined because crimes committed after this investigation began that nothing to do with this investigation that to me has got to stop this process. Crime stuff has got to stop people are being ruined by virtue of intimidation. Compet dopoulos even says that Muller's team told him told his wife, you know, you'd better let go George George doesn't have much of a future here telling this popadopoulos white for fiancee, whatever she was at the time. What what business is it a bears? But this is the technicians. Weisman primarily was the pit bull for Muller, but Muller permitting, this kind of stuff. Is is out. I hate this process crime stuff anyway, because it basically uses a power that the average citizen will never have the ability to fight, and that is the full fledged resources, including the prison system of the United States government's. They come to you. And they threaten you to tell them what they wanna hear even if it's not the truth is what happened to Ted Stevens case. They suborned perjury. They made their star witness testified the things that weren't true. The prosecution did and many of these same guys on the Enron task force. They had no business being on Muller's team. There. They were. So they come along and they threatened you jail. They threatened with destroying your family, breaking you taking away asset you've got illegal fees, unless you tell them what they want to hear. I think I'm a law and order guy. But that's the court decision. That granted the cops the power to lie to get a confession. I know it's it's a close call cops sitting there, and they know a perp did it. But they're never going to be able to prove it. So they need a confession. So in those circumstances, they are permitted to lie to the perp to scare the Jesus out of them will in this case, there weren't any purpose. There wasn't any collusion. And yet these guys are running around trying to get people to agree or confessed to crimes. That are essentially being created by Muller and his team. To me. This whole thing is people that are in the criminal Justice system. This is their day to day existence. Well, hey, it's just what we need. It's one of the tools that we have. But you know, when you when you are a person, and you're the essence of innocence. You've not you've not committed these kind of crimes you look at the way this stuff happens you say there, but for the grace of God go, I what if Muller had decided I had some ability to put Trump away and came knocking on my door and made me say things. Well, that's what happened popadopoulos what happened to a bunch of people. Flynn pled guilty. Even though the people that interviewed him didn't think he had lied. He pled guilty to lying because they were threatening next to destroy his son. Rush. That's just all part process. Well, it may be but it's not right. And that may be naive at taste speaking. But. It just seems going overboard because especially in this case there wasn't anything. There were no crimes. There was no collusion. Mother was trying to create crimes or get people to admit to crimes that had not been committed. In new for eighteen months minimum. And it's well worth your time to read this thing because it just it is exactly what Muller and everybody involved needs to hear about this report. Now, let me let me cut to the chase. Because it's time to get your phone and move on what they really want with the Democrats really want. Is not bar, and it really isn't Muller. What they really they're going to go through the motions of talking. Will they've done bar. They're going to go to Muller next. Remember, everything they're doing is to continue the the show or the image that Trump colluded with Russia, then Trump obstructed. That's all they've got what they really want is Don Mcgann. Is spite all of the efforts, they make make you think Muller holds the key. They know that Muller don't doesn't. This report is done. It's over there was no obstruction, and there's no collusion, and there's no amount of dancing around and image making and PR spin can convince anybody the impeachment numbers in polling. Data are now into the twenties. It's over they have lost. They sent impeachment is political with with the latest polling data people supporting impeachment now in the high twenties that's over. So the only thing remaining for them is to go after Don Mcgann who who mother smoked for thirty hours and Mcgann. Has has the news is that Trump told Mcgann? To lie about whether or not he gave the order to fire Mueller that is witness tampering. They want Mcgann, and they wanna have at Mcgann they wanna try to get again to it mitt that Trump tampered with him as a witness that is where the White House is going to exert executive privilege. That's where this is all headed. And the flood letter is setting all of this up. Not going to happen since its political. That's all headed in the flood letter is setting all of this up. That's where they're headed and the longer than go down this road, the more distracted. They're going to continue to be from everything else that does actually matter because the truth of this is if you look at these public polls that show support for impeachment dwindling. I mean, just what was it late last week early this week in one poll was down to thirty seven percent was that was Monmouth. No morning concept. Morning council was thirty seven now in a poll today or yesterday twenty-seven. It means. That the American public is not going to support him patriot. That's not going to happen since its political. "Interview with Martha McCallum on the story was originally set up as an eight to nine minutes segment. She said, yeah, it's gonna be long a segment of the night eight to nine I realized that I don't finish clearing my throat. In the first five minutes. Okay. Well, we'll stick with eight to nine. In the show starts. No. We're going to do fifteen. I said, okay. And it ended up going twenty minutes. So to play the whole thing. I mean, we got we got plenty of time to do that. There are excerpts from it as as well. And we're going to get to that. But I I wanna start here with the president the president first lady left the White House not long ago walking across the lawn to the helicopter to catch a ride out the joint base Andrews aboard Air Force One to fly to Atlanta where there's some sort of symposium on the opioid crisis. And as usual, the president stopped. To chat with the media. And he was on fire and the subject that came up has to do with the subpoenas. See you remember in the Muller report? It said that White House counsel. Don Mcgann, Don Mcgann, who by the way, spoke to the special counsel for thirty hours. What more can this guy possibly have to say? But he spoke to the special counsel for thirty hours. This is the guy that Trump supposedly, by the way, John Dowd. The lead lawyer for Trump in this whole sort entail is denying that Trump ever ordered Muller to be fired by anybody, including Mcgann. And we've got that coming up anyway. The Democrats want us to peanut him again. And the White House is going to oppose all the subpoenas on the basis of executive privilege. And the fact this time for this to end we had two and a half years of this. We've had thirty five million dollars spent there are gazillions of pages. There are hours and hours and hours of interviews. There's nothing new that can be learned here except the Democrats. You know, why they wanna talk them again? Can I tell you what they wanted to know? Why do you think they want to talk to Mcgann? It's two words. The answer is a person person. No, John, gene. They can't get Watergate out of their heads. And Democrats are not original everything in their playbook is a replay of past glory and past glory to them is getting rid of Nixon quick. What was Nixon's mill middle name, Mr. Snerdley? That's right mill house good for you. So they wanted to get rid of they got rid of Nixon. They prove the media to they prove they can do it. So they wanna prove to themselves. They can do it again. And so have you noticed all the times that Watergate is used as a a point of comparison to this? And of course, there isn't anything similar. Watergate agents from Nixon actually did bug. The Democrat National Committee headquarters and left evidence that they had been there Nixon didn't know what at the time. But then he found out about it and tried to cover it up. But there's nothing similar there's nothing similar whatsoever. Unless you want to start talking about what Hillary Clinton did. And the Democrat National Committee did and the Obama administration did if you want to compare anything you compare those people to Nixon and watering, but not Trump Trump didn't do anything. They've looked at Trump with the fine. Tune comb forever for over three years. Now the effort to deny Donald Trump the nomination and the presidency and the divorce him out three phases. They have looked at everything. They don't have anything as I cleverly pointed out in the past. We may have inadvertently elected the most on corru-. Upped person to be president of the United States who could have been elected miss country. You want to know the truth of it? So no, they want to talk to him again, they're going to subpoena again because they think he is John dean John dean White House counsel who spilled many of the beans on Nixon during the Watergate hearings. And because they have lost the ability to innovate in the democrat party at because there is nothing original anymore. They have no choice, but the go back to the playbook and try to replay games that they've already want to be. It would be like the Pittsburgh Steelers thinking the way to win the Super Bowl. This year would be go back and do the exact same thing. They did in nineteen eighty. Or any other previous Super Bowl winning team? The Democrats are stuck in the past particularly in ways means techniques to get rid of rivals. So Don Mcgann who has nothing in common whatsoever with with deem other than having held the same job. They wanna talk to Don Mcgann. It's all of this is so so ironic, but I want you to hear the president as he was chatting with the press today. Let's see we're going to start audio sound bite number one. This is in the White House lawn. Unidentified reporter said what are you plan to do about? The subpoenaed, Don, Mcgann and other subpoenas as ridiculous..
