Hey, thanks for having me. Boy, I'll tell you what we see what's going on with George an organization that you know the left trying to put together some votes from out of state. Some folks in Alabama got some information scented him trying to round up some dead people to vote. I mean, With what's happening around this country right now in the election fraud allegations, and I believe that there was no doubt some funny business going on. Are you a bit worried about what is gonna happen in Georgia with this Senate race? Listen, I I think that there are legitimate claims to voter irregularities and other issues that happen in the 2020 election. Uh, in a lot of these key battleground states, especially the larger counties, But what I would tell you is The death way to overtake any type of system when it comes to the vote is by having and Unprecedented high number of votes for your candidate, so What we are pushing is for every Georgia resident that cares about the future of the state and the country that maybe Republican or independent or even Democrats. You know, we have Democrats supporting theater, gender of this president and those and that of Kelly, La Flor and Senator David Perdue on We want them to turn out and turn out boat and both strong and both not high turnout. But how does that really ensure the integrity that this is going to be a solid, you know? I guess, transparent election and not go through any shenanigans. How do you ensure and guarantee that That's not that those are two separate issues. You know what the RNC is, is to make sure that the local party and the candidates have the resources that we need to get out the vote. We have to then trust that And that our Republican leaders better there. And those that are not Republican leaders that are interested with ensuring that the the integrity of our elections, do their jobs and do it appropriately. And if they if we feel that if they don't there will be litigation and lawsuit that was being across the country now. Based on what we've seen where some people say that they weren't allowed to be around the vote counting Democrats pushed him out of the rooms. Mail in ballots showed up overnight. All of a sudden, are there any things changing for this January run up in Georgia to address those allegations and issues? You know, I'm not particularly sure about what Protocols are being changed or what things but I will tell you that we are highlighting them. The things that were problematic and that we will have poll watchers and we have people on the gravel. We will have lawyers. The all eyes will be on Georgia be very clear. Yeah, it will be on Georgia. And so it's in their best interest not to try to pull any. So the Democrats and these people who tried to pull it once before and try and thought about doing things and mayor may not have, uh, been successful. That's why the president's team is doing this legally. Well, guess what? I would try it this time because the world is watching. All right. Very good. I sure do appreciate your input this morning. I hope things go well. Paris Denard. Thank you. So much. So while the organization has been weakened over the years due to lawsuits and falling public opinion they signal, they'll be devoting considerable resources to getting what they call a no. Good Rascal Rabbit here's mcdaniel. Again, if these sort of left distant imitation tactics prevail, we're looking at a future where government agents can just come to your home while you're sleeping and bend your gun into a youth shape or jammed the barrels with carrots coastal elites like bugs bunny may be okay with that outcome, but real Americans will never stand for it mercy. Some have accused the gun right's organization of not caring about tune rights they pushed for decades to deregulate bazookas. Dynamite sticks coming from the ACME company. That's true. But the NRA would point you to their a rating for Marvin, the Martian. For providing what they call a sterling example of responsible gun ownership. Sure. But do they have any other tactics to push back against what they see boxes anti-gun stance while the F. reading a tactic in and of itself of course. But beyond that NRA leadership announced, they'll be launching a public pressure campaign encouraging members to email and tweet bugs bunny to tell him actions are harming the American way of life. They're also lobbying Congress to remove him from television claiming that he's been brainwashing our nation's children with anti-gun propaganda, and if those tactics are unsuccessful, they have plans to draw big angle on his head. To, imagine that this separating didn't sit very well with everyone. That's certainly true. Leslie several gun control groups have spoken out against the move with MOMS demand action launching a new ancient stinker ad campaign targeting the NRA. Responded not personally, but a spokesperson reached out to tell reporters quote meet me. Okay. Then Marcie please keep us updated. That's OPR's Marcy
NRA Gives F Rating To Bugs Bunny For Tying Guns Into Pretzel Shape
"In the wake of new. York. Attorney, General, Latisha James's lawsuit against their organization. The powerful National Rifle Association is clapping back. I. Think I'm using that right? Anyway. The Guns Rights Organization today issued an F rating to bugs bunny for tying up guns into Pretzel Shapes. For more I'm joined by OPR senior alcohol tobacco firearms and explosive correspondent Marcy Hammond mercy. What was the NRA's thinking here while the NRA reserved. The F. rating figures at deems is particularly harmful to the rights of gun owners and leadership believes that bugs his long history of firearm destruction qualifies him. Here's how NRA deputy spokesperson Rhonda mcdaniel. Explain their decision time and time. Again, we have seen this radical agitators seeking to curtail the Second Amendment Rights of Elmer Fudd and Yosemite Sam by twisting their lawfully purchased firearms into a big bowl and the NRA has had enough.
Film Academy Announces New Diversity Requirements For Best Picture Nominees
"Academy has long relied on the film industry to make diversity central to its process and has long been embarrassed at the results. Hashtags Oscar's so White and Oscar's so mayl have greeted recent telecasts. But it's hardly a new problem. Back in 1988 Eddie Murphy took a moment while announcing the best picture nominees to say he almost didn't agree to do it because in 60 years, the Oscars had only three times honored black performers. Hattie McDaniel, Sidney Poitier and Lou Gossett Jr now

"Don't find their own identity until they haven't interaction with the identity of God. . They have to have their burning Bush experience. . They have to have the road to Damascus experience. . It's always unique. . and. . It always happens before they find who they are and the after find who they are before they find what God called them to do. . Make sense in. . The wego through life like what should I do? ? What should I be? ? No, you're , asking the wrong question. . The question is, , who am I? ? Who is got in who am I because when you figure those two out, , you'll never have a question about what you were called the do. . So that's the second thing. . You See. . David. . Start to do this right. . There's so much wrapped up David but. . There's two different aspect here. . David I'm thinking about which let's get with the first aspect that is important for Americans is we think we are the center of the universe. . We're the center of the universe. We . think we're the center of God's plan. We . think we're the center of everything right and and. . Pretty. . Most people are gonNA, , come back and say, , no other people do but that's not me. . But you can see this in the way we read scripture. . The when we read David and Goliath. . Even look that I'm David. . Bingo. . Right. . I'm David Who's my Goliath all this stuff. . Some of the other characters in that story how David's brothers All right who reads the David and Goliath story and says, , you know what? ? Man I really see David's brother in me. . I'm released. . All right. . and. . So we missed that or how about how about like how many times did God come through the Old Testament and like because somebody did something wrong like five thousand people would die. . Well, , what if what if that's us? ? Our role in scripture is the nameless Christian who died in the plague. . Right. . What if what if we're the older brother in the Prodigal Son Story? ? Exactly. . Let's put that in perspective. . When I preached the next TIME DOWN AT THE CHURCH BUT God has a much bigger plan and everybody has a role in that plan. . Right. So . so what Beth and I were talking about the other day is like everybody in everything in the world has a to play right that centers around God's plan not Gods God's plan doesn't sit around us we send around plan. . So. . One of the things I I plan on using this analogy the next time I preach but. . Even in nature God has created everything have its rule and to play a part in support of his plant. . So like one of those animals and nature that has a very unique plan in a very unique purpose as the Dung Beetle. . So the Dung beetles job is to eat poo it just like it lives to eat crap. . So when we when we look at this spiritually, , what if we were called to be a spiritual dung? ? Beetle. . Right yeah. . Here's here's the deal though the Dung Beetle meant it loves poo. . If thinks it's the best thing under the Sun Right. . So, , it's not like the Dung Beetle is like Oh man I got a horrible job here because it's fulfilling the God given purpose that it was made fortin. . Now. . Here's the deal. . If another animal doesn't know what its mission is doesn't know what it's purposes, , but it's like man that thing is so happy and this is maybe I should do what that's doing because that things happy and so now all of a sudden an animal that wasn't made be Dung Beetle tries to live outside of what God made it to be an all. . It's GonNa be unhappy and find itself eating dirt. . And that's what we do spiritually because we don't know who we are. . So when we see someone who does know their identity, , we try to mimic them. . Okay. . That makes sense that makes sense. . Right. . So you have people in the church all the time who just see the next celebrity pastor and just try to be what that celebrity pastor is Yep Yep. . Even. . Though that might not be who God called them to be.

"And we hit Constantine now. Constantine is famous for accepting Christianity Making Christianity. The Universal Religion Room Right. But. The interesting fact here is that Constantine? Baptize? Until the very end of his life. So Constantine, he wanted it for other reasons and it was a very unifying factor, right? Yes. Now, the reason Constantine, like this is under the Jewish system. Christians carry this over and and it was more of like a court people could go to them. It was cheap. It was going to be fair and it was going to be quick than they could get a verdict on some of their problems in Constantine saw this and he saw it as a huge benefit. So he brought them in any brought the Christians in and. So the first buildings, the Basilica's Constantine built seven of 'em in Rome and he he took the bishops at the time which were like the overseers of the churches. So like you know a guy or Gal who had a house church and then became an overseer of multiple house churches and and ultimately became what they termed as bishop right and overseer of like emphasis. So Constantine would bring them in and he brought him in and put plop them down into the seven basilicas and they became like judges, right. Well since Constantine brought in, he had to give them all of the the glories of the Roman government, and so they started to get in a big in high and mighty hats, and they would sit on certain thrones and they gave him a ring and they had to have the pomp and circumstance of government. And so people loved it and they would flood there in Constantine saw the benefits of and the bishops also kind of started to fall in love with all the pomp and circumstance I mean some of them even had their own music. When they showed up I mean I'd go for that. You don't want to be. Theme. Song. When he come in right though. So. You start to have churches or buildings as we know it. But then what concentrating saw was man people are loving this stuff. So he sent envoys back into the Holy Land in Jerusalem and the same concept of BASILICAS. He found holy sites like Golgotha, he found the well and he would build a basilica over and this started within thirty years a huge tourism trade back into the holy. Land. Now went tourist would show up. You know he didn't want it to be board where they just saw building and then went about their way. So he started to implement liturgy and they had like made it fun for the tourists. Right, and they said they would read some some songs or they would sing songs, and so the tourists they loved it. Right? It was. Was Entertaining and so a lot of them would bring that back and they started to implement these systems that constant team was implementing and they would bring it back to their hometowns and poof. Next thing you know we've got buildings, we've got liturgy, we've got church polity, and all of this stuff is coming out of good. The the greatest showman, that's what I'm thinking. Oh, man. No. Within one generation we go from. House churches were every person was reaching out to their neighbor. Everyone had an intimate connection with the body and they were true community and within one generation we became enamored in. To, a religious elite who led an entertaining service force, literally, the entertainment was tourism. Is Driven in the Holy Land by an entertaining service that was carried back. That was a around three, twenty three. On seventeen that. Right. So the reason that is important. Is that. Now now we'll bounce from history a little bit into social science here. So when we look at the social learning theory, which is current right I'm using this social learning theory says, they're chew. Of the most influential aspects of how we learned behavior. That is what people around us new and people who we view as experts, what they do. Both of those elements were present in in that first generation. The experts, the religious elite auto started to change systematically the way we do church, and when other people the lady started to go with that and just sit down and be entertained. The two most influential elements of social learning now in our lives. And if we look at the American Church today, it hasn't changed much even though we've you know the Holy Spirit is now the fog machine and we've got the laser light shows and we've got the amazing band. The social learning theory says, we see a religious elite giving us a systematic approach that is to sit down be entertained in everyone else around us is doing the same thing. So, that's kind of the history of of how we ended up and why church is like our heels dug in as an American church. Like the system. No matter what you from the pulpit if your system is showing that. A picture is worth a thousand words, right? But but a Sunday morning church service is worth a billion. Because the system come communicate something to us. So, if you took all the words out and you just said Hey I want you guys to replicate what you see. What we're telling the every day Christian is I, want you to replicate a an entertaining service with a professional band in a professionally driven. Sermon inside inside a nice catchy building. So he's not because you're tainted important. Yeah. Right, and so that it's not, it's not discipleship. It's not community. It's just replicate the show. That's kind of wedding help. Bingo. goes a little bit further back. There's a couple of authors like a lull. He wrote in the late Seventies Neil Postman of pretty famous dude. American wrote in the mid eighties. They wrote books like Technically, they wrote about technique. All of these guys were cultural critics who were talking about how we shift the way. We see things from like an oral society than we invent a the printing press, and then we've got the TV and. Even more than just entertaining, which postman actually wrote the book entertaining ourselves to death. But they said the very medium that we use to communicate is influencing us and so all of a sudden, it's no longer about communicating with each other now that I, have written words in a book, I don't need other people. Information is important and I can do it myself because I can read it here. Then introduced the radio, then introduce the TV. So both of these guys said that a culture that takes all of these things in is going to become enamored with just information for informations SIC. What's his name assignments cynic? He just talked about this too. He said, you know we have so many inventions today that are just stupid. There's no reason we invent things that are just for the invention. They don't actually fix anything. Yeah. I. Mean I. Think we can in our line of work and in society, it's we get. The information is not the problem we have so much information. It said now we don't know what to do with that information once we again. And we're over inundated and we just take things as Gospel truth versus doing our own critical thinking and research in saying it does this lineup with the biblical lands in a world view and a lot of us just take for granted. You know what at our fingertips but not doing the dirty work and not getting in the midst, really seeking what God's truth is in the perspective that were in today Yup. Absolutely an even even with that. Dante. One thing you brought up there, that's super important to understand is like. Even. When we dig into the word, if we're reading the Bible as a historical book and we're doing it. Separate from the Holy Spirit. It can be no different than the technique ill talked about right. We putting data about the Bible. So we can look smart because that's what we emulate. And we've the key element. There is a Holy Spirit that illuminates the weren't. We stand exactly, and if got to do that journey without him as a disciple, you have a big problem and I've said that I have I mean I've rented that people and I've fallen this to myself to where it's. It can become just an academic study and it's wow. I'm studying great history. This is you know, but the Holy Spirit involved to remind just doing my own little academic study on the side. Right. So I or or the checking box. Sorry. Jeff go ahead. First? Corinthians. First Corinthians three sixteen says, don't you know that you've been given the spirit from God, not the spirit of the from the world so that you may fully understand all that has been given to you. Go ahead, what were you gonNA say? No, I was just that's exactly, I. Mean. You know we we've taking it from like even the European or the declining church in Europe, and then looking at a maybe a foreshadow of where the American churches are going..

"The, now we have the concept of whether you're in a huge building that is a mega church or in living room, we have intimate community that's coming and saying a search, the scriptures together, we have to pray shut our mouths in, listen to what God on our hearts and then share that together and then as a community of him. So if God is truth and we are believing false things, one of the most important things we can do as a community is now confession and confession is nothing more than telling the truth and what that looks like is if the three of us are getting together, we can just go back to. Several different questions like, okay. What are some negative emotions that you've had lance? This negative emotions is. The way I described this as it's like our spiritual limbic system though our LIMBIC system. If if I get a splinter in my finger immediately, I have feelings that shoot in my head and say, Hey, there's something wrong. You've got something in there that doesn't belong there negative emotions is spiritually our LIMBIC system, right? So when we when we take on a false belief, negative emotions will pop up somewhere in our life in our belief. So if we're dealing with the same negative emotions, it's because we're dealing with the same false beliefs somewhere in our life. So we as a community now, once we start to learn each other in love each other. These are the things where we confess our sins. One to another. a sin is just missing the mark right including in our belief. It doesn't have to be porn or does it have to be some deed? We did it can be a belief. So we come together and I'm like Lance Brother Like I've got sin because my this emotion I'm always angry which is A. A A higher level emotion. So anger leads down to something else. Well, when I when I treat my anger back, it's because I feel not good enough i. feel like I was belittled by somebody some my pride was hit now my brother start to say okay. So you've got this false belief about you're not good. No, let's ask God where that false belief came from. So that, we can confess it. So then repentance confession is us telling God. Our version of the truth. Repentance is God. Telling us his version of the truth, and then belief is we walk in that. No matter what. It's not going to ask this question is my wife and I did some study on this. Do. You think that if we look at. Any you know this. This applies to men, husbands, fathers whatever. Anger fear depression, whatever those emotions are. We can draw that back to a sin somewhere, and like you said, the sins, not necessarily I was looking at Porn I. Feel guilty to sin could be i. have a false belief about who I think. I. Who God thinks I am, and I'm not going to God rather than going to God and asks him. God God who am I I'm saying like you said Sally told me in second grade. So now I'm going to believe that. I mean, is that a court? Can you draw that back to if I'm if I'm I'm struggling with anger issues, there's a, there's a route there. That's it's rooted in sin and we can go back to that. Somehow do lance without even knowing that you nailed it on the head like the three emotions that Satan injected into the garden into the world in the Garden of Eden Fear Guilt and shame. You see those those. Those are the Three Gorges that Satan always comes back to fear guilt or shame, and so all of our negative emotions in life, they will all come back to one of those three in here. Just side note you you're you're familiar with this, but the funny thing is those three are actually also the three world views in. Our world. Fear fear in power in Africa, right. guilt and innocence. In America. Dame an honor in the Middle East. The Look like the thing that Satan. Brought in fear guilt shame is still dealing with that as a as a human race as human race and Culture Yeah Yeah Yeah. So you're you're absolutely right when we can track those things back it. Are False belief feargal shame once we believe something false wool act on that, and that is where sinful action comes from. Right. Because once I have fear guilt or shame, my only two responses to self protect or self promote. If. I'm afraid that people are going to think I'm not good enough. Then my my responses for the rest of my life are not to listen to God, it's prove to everyone that I am good enough, and so I'm GonNa, try to do you know the special forces and I'm going to go to school, and I'm going be the PT Stud not because that's really where God's called me. But because I have to prove to the world and to myself that I am good enough yup. And we end up with a society in America were ninety percent of people hate their job. You, do you hit the nail on the head right there? No. You should've seen my old boss though I mean that guy was a tire endure that guy with the heard. So Jeff. Let's let's I want to wrap this podcasts up and we'll, and we'll. We're GONNA move on the next podcast. We'll. We'll. We'll move to the next step. What are some practical in give us some practical steps if we say, okay, how do I hear the word of God? Let. Let's leave it off on that practical steps of how do we? Hear the word of God, and then the next podcast, we will go to the next step. So give us some what are some practice? Okay Sir. Okay. So practical step, we will definitely talk more about this in the next one but. We as Americans are addicted to dopamine, and we have to keep going and doing, and we never take time to shut up and just be quiet and be still in listen to God. So the very first thing that we have to do even when we pray is stopped to pray in shut up in prayer? Matthew six, eight, seven. Six. Seven and eight says stop talking so much God knows what you need. Tomorrow. You don't. So why are you continuing to talk to him, listen to him and he'll tell you what to pray for four tomorrow. Yes. First practical. Step. It's it's hard because it. It's an addiction in Americans like we have a hard time being quite. So give yourself a place, find a place that's quiet and away and set yourself a time that you're shooting for start with like two or three minutes where I'm not gonNA say anything I'M NOT GONNA listen to music I'm not GonNa read anything I'm GonNa leave my phone away I'm GonNa. Go to this place for two to three minutes and start to train myself to be still and know that he has got some forty six ten. And the crazy thing is if you're listening to this guy is you might think like, well, that sounds really simplistic. But in today's society and you'll see this with younger generations. Younger generations do this like they are so used to having a device in their hand and doing like I've literally watch teenagers and young adults. Start shaking and having withdrawal syndrome almost from just being still and not having some sort of. Stimulation and and I know this when I first started doing this jeff to it's. How if when I tried to be still and listen to God and you'd think two to three minutes like, okay. I can do to three minutes literally thirty, forty, five seconds into that Satan's GonNa start.

"But the key is there's three pieces to. John. Ten. Twenty, seven. Right. Worship, which means we're communal people. We were not like goats sheep. So were together in community, and that's where we hear him. And then it says and I know him what a weird piece for Jesus to put in there. Right. But if you look cover to cover, we have no idea what God is calling us to. Until we I know who he is. Once we know who he is, he reveals who we are, and once we know who we are at the core essence of who we are. Then we discover our mission. That's why Jesus puts that in there, and then only then it say we obey him. and. So that piece of it is like lancing united. We've talked about this before. That's the nuts and bolts. The Nice little tools you make illustrations. How do you go share the Gospel? How do you do a Bible study? That's what everybody wants to hear are the nice little tools but. Just like in the military, like you got two pieces, you have to learn how to hear your commander. Then you gotta learn how to pull the trigger. Right. So. If you if you don't have a commander in, you have no direction and you can go to airborne school all day long you can. You know you can shoot expert all day long, but it means nothing if you don't have overall guidance on where you're going just going to be a bunch of rogue mercenaries. Likewise if you have a great. Commander. But you have no idea of the skills to accomplish that. Then you've got a great commander with a lame army. That's not gonNA accomplish anything Same. Thing's true with Jesus, we have to learn how to hear his voice, but we also need to be trained in the skills to accomplish the mission that he's calling us to. So, what so do you think? Yeah. So let's start with hearing his voice, what what does that entail and what are you? What are you see where we at right now? Z. As a body, Christ? Yeah. So out of that, there's there's one piece the overarching piece. To answer that question, there's something that's influencing us. So they hit a little bit on the history of this because. A. Hear his voice. This is the thing is Scripture says you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. Right, that's what Jesus is talking about. And and everybody loves that, and it's a nice little. You know you can. embroider it on your pillow. It's on a wall somewhere of Donald, wall, right. But but if we take that literally. Then the truth. There are so many things in our life that we are believing about ourselves about God and about the world better not true, and if we already believed that and God is truth in only speaks truth than when he speaks to us, we don't hear him at all. For instance, maybe maybe God is calling you lance to be. The next great speaker of the world, but you from like second grade led Alex. Joe told you that you're a horrible speaker and yet your voices stupid and you're stupid and so from second grade, you believe deep down in like a man. I'm not really a good speaker because you know little sally. Jo, said I'm not, and so then when God says, I, want you to go speak you like biblical character like God I, I don't know how to speak. Maybe you should call my brother, my brother. Aaron. Right? Maybe she gets better more qualified. Yeah. Bingo right because it's a false belief and not only speaks truth. So we have to understand. In Our ecclesial Aji, what are some things that we have started to believe the church that go back that weren't necessarily the way God created it in the beginning. That's why the history is important because. You gotTa have that clean slate so that when God speaks, all you're hearing is him. You see that in the garden right Adam and Eve were walking with God and they heard him and they were blank slate. So when he spoke, they just obeyed right. But as soon as Satan comes the question he poses to them if we read it as did God really say. But I, mean, that's a dumb way to read it because really like you're just questioning like. You like. You missed it and you want to say, did he really know what Satan was saying? What kind of a God would say? So he challenges the character of God for the first time. So Eve starts to believe a false belief about God. And here's the big mistake is when she starts to receive that she walked with God, she could have easily said, you know what Satan, that's a great question you hang on right here I'm going to go ask him. Or let's bring into the conversation. Health, you'll see how that happens. Yeah. Yeah. So No, she didn't do that. You just started a believe a false belief and we do that. We'll receive stuff from the world and not got an ask hugest mistake ever make is to just start to believe ourselves the own lies we tell ourselves or what the world tells us, or we believe the fear like Abraham. Appear of man and is going to share his wife instead of seeking God's council. What, what are you doing here? No of that YEP. Still a lot of our history as the church has led to these false beliefs, which is holding back a great. Jury of the American? Church who were like you know what? I'm not I don't have a seminary degree I'm not good enough smart enough I'm not a great speaker like Francis Chan I'm not a, you know a great teacher like David Platt I'm not just it keeps going where these false beliefs are like i. see something over here and so I, create my own beliefs, and so I'm just GonNa Kinda, hang out here because I don't have the qualifications to start anything or do anything forgot Well, though the history of where we came from is really important. Because we're believing a lot of false things. So, so give us a little bit what would some of the history then that she? Okay. Yes. So I sent you a lot of the references for this stuff in. The, history of this. But if we go back to the early church, you can see it in the book of acts is talking about people were meeting house to house. There are meeting in small groups, a an author named Joel Comiskey Great Dude. He's written a ton of stuff on sell church. Ministry. He brings out the fact just looking archaeologically at the time. The houses weren't big enough to hold. More than twenty to twenty, five people at the time. Right. So we can imply that most of these meetings were that size or less. Okay. So you start with that. So the first two, three, hundred years, you've got small pockets of people who are meeting in in how churches, and then you've got cities mostly, the movement back then was urban. So is all plopped down in cities you see that in Paul's journeys right and so then you'd have multiple house churches that would all be together and that was the Church of Corinth or that was the Church of ethicists, right? Anthony, chart, Tattoo Meanings, local, and general right. Then,.

But when you're working from home since early March, you can afford the luxury of okay. I'll just quarantine at home when I get back. Yeah. Absolutely I'm going out of my mind because I can't travel. A hundred miles doesn't give you a whole lot where I'm at. Now. I can get to the next mountain. That's pretty much. You can't even go to the Grand Canyon. How is that? Now I can't go anywhere I. IF I could go to Mexico like a Mexico's closer than anything else, but can't go down there either because of all the stuff going on so. It, would you give me some hydrochloric Greenpeace when? Hey, you guys nail on the head like actually I just sit at home and sit by the phone waiting for you to call me. Because I'm like I don't have anything else nothing as great as legacy dad's so. A. By the phone and pray over it like Lord let Lance Call Me. So, one of the most important things that I can share with you is recently met up with family for a wedding and. I, love my family, but you're talking about like the spread of Covid and and you know what people are doing to try and present that. So we came up with the idea of one of my nephews who is. Like bless his heart He. He's blonde at heart. We were like I wonder if we can get him to put hand sanitizer in his mouth and nose since Kobe is airborne. and. It was actually easier than we thought. And he he believed it. You know since Kobe comes in through your mouth and your nose, he was just like, of course, I'm going to squirt that stuff in my. No. That makes total sense before he goes to squirt it in his nose, his girlfriend's I. Know You dummy, you put it on your finger and swirling around. Then he wants away and he's like instant burning my Bogor's around Fi. Yeah. That's good call. Yes, you push up. So Jeff, what are you doing your PhD in right now? Right, now it's in communication I am looking at A. Self efficacy in how we can help people change voluntary behaviors towards discipleship. The. The problem is eighty. Five percent of churches in America are either plateaued or declining zero churches in America are multiplying. And there's gotta be a reason why. So CS Lewis said scientists nothing more than I pointed my telescope it in this direction at this time towards this planet, and this is what I saw. So even social science is nothing more than critically looking at what God is doing and how God made us. So I'm taking a seminary degree, an MD, matching it up with a social science. And trying to see what God is doing and how we can better make disciples makes sense makes sense and so we we kinda talked we were talking about last week Kyle, this in a what if and this is something it came up in conversation wasn't even planned that we were saying what if you know God is pushing this cove is a mechanism to get us to relook at how we do quote Unquote Corporate Church gatherings or discipleship, and that's where we thought. Hey. You're the guy that's been doing this. You've been preaching this for years saying We need to get away from this corporate entertainment. You know consumer model in back to. First Century Early Church Christian discipleship so can you talk a little bit about some of the stuff you've been talking about working with where do you see the problems and then you know, what do you see? We can talk a little bit about You know, what are some solutions here? Okay. Cool. So I first off I am only one voice out of many in the world. So what I've been talking about is unique in America. There are multiple movements a near near eighty movements and like there's a couple of different definitions of movement. But in general, it's four streams to the fourth generation, which is a bout. Ten thousand people that's what's required. Ten thousand people coming to the Lord in a short amount of time. That's what when I say movement, there's eighty of those around the world. In highly persecuted areas, right. So what I'm talking about is only unique in America. With part of the reason why I'm going back to school because Paul said, become all things to all men that I might win but won to Christ. Well, this is the language that we speak in America's just give me more information in inundate me with science, and then I'll listen to you. Though we're doing it in other countries, but Americans. Don't want to hear about ten thousand people coming to the Lord. They want the science or you know the the academic research from it solves like art. Fine. Then Lord give me the give me the brain to get that background so that more people will listen. Yeah. It's actually it's not your brain. It's God using your brain Bingo because. I'm really not that bright like I'm an infantryman at art right. Anything CRAN I don't get it. But. So I I heard you guys talking about this this very thing and and I heard you talking about the church in in with collating getting outside of the walls and you guys are bumping up against one of the most a hotly debated topics over the last two, thousand years, which is collegiality. And Man, it is still so debated. But what I, what I wanted to to bring, what Lance, what would what we talked a little bit about before is on. What is the heart and soul of why we have a church? What is the purpose of a church? Because if we can get to that than we can start to understand? How we move forward with this and how we use this to to accomplish the mission God. gave us. and. So if we if we look at John Ten twenty seven, this is Jesus talking and he says, my sheep hear my voice and I know them and they obey me. That's the heart and soul of what we want. We want we want to hear God in our life? and..

"Thank the McDaniel got only a little too close to the truth I mean look at it this way if your not trying to rig the game against crazy Bernie and if if you're not gonna have a brokered convention and if whoever gets the most elegant tax is going to win the nomination and a Republican comes along on TV and says it it's about ten to twelve times but by no means the first time R. one it laugh at it they can joke about it tell Ron to make Daniel you're crazy yeah but Donna Brazile lost she lost it the way people who have been called out accurately lose it now sometimes people can lose it like they have their rules like that if they're really really being lied about like trump is routinely lied about that he doesn't react even outweigh the way Donna resulted so I think I think the problem Donna Brazile has is that everybody knows what's going on here it's so it's so obvious what's going on they've made it clear now you're got boarded judging clover sharp pack it in the end and they claimed it was independently arrived at that nobody called open orders no quid pro quo nobody offered demanding I just don't believe it why wouldn't call bush are get out before the primary your own state and the only reason for that is it she's got internal polling data show she might lose her own state regular stand that but none of this is this is it folks this is all about the democratic establishment is scared to death don't let me be specific about what they're scared about and I look I have no idea who the Democrat nominee is going to be eyes will tell you if it isn't Joe Biden I'm not going to be surprised with the reason I'm with I I am apologizes I assured you not too long ago that it wouldn't be and I told you why he's lost it he's out of it he doesn't worry as well that actually could be a plus for the Democrats if they have other objectives loading having him win if he wins and doesn't or is that gonna happen the the the wizard of oz whoever it's going to be the man behind the curtain is gonna be pulling the strings and nobody's going to know who it is and it'll be somebody Biden approves of and so forth and so that that that that would be an incentive but R. now that the objective is not just first and foremost to win the White House but now there are other things then it it it's possible that they could get behind plugs as a last ditch effort to save themselves and the key to understanding this is understanding the lingo there there are no moderate Democrats but when they talk about the moderate demagoguing about themselves are termed Biden and clover shar and boarding judge anybody it's not very anybody not burning lady anybody that's not Elizabeth Warren anybody else moderate Democrats trying to maintain control of party trying to satisfy the centrist suburban women all this gobbledygook the Democrat party is a far left party there is no mistake about the Democrat party is closer to what Bernie Sanders is than this dream they have that some moderate centrist but nothing centrist about the Democrat party or anybody in it but this bunch like the media the media is a bunch of radical leftist but what do they tell you they are they say that their objective fair minded journalists they don't admit who they are the same thing with radical leftist Democrat politicians outside of burning and and and focus they don't admit who they are so these people calling themselves moderates and centrists are desperate to hold on to the power structure of the Washington establishment member the Democrat party runs the Washington establishment they run it politically they run it socially so these people desperately even when the Republicans won the White House right now they still run that town and they want to give that up if Bernie Sanders wins the democratic nomination and all bets are off because he's the titular head of the party and he's going to win start start installing people in these institutions and then if he would ever be elected press now they don't think that whatever happened they think he would take the party down to one of the worst landslide defeats ever and for ever Rowan or in the foreseeable future ruin the idea the party could even be liberal much less communist and socialist they don't want that to happen but more than anything more than anything it's about self preservation you want names anybody that works at CNN anybody works at NBC everybody that works at CBS or ABC anybody working at The New York Times these people all consider themselves to be part of the political elite in Washington they want to remain in the political elite they want to remain in charge and they know they are in charge even when Republicans won the White House but when the wrong Democrat wins it they do not want to happen to the Democrat party what we've seen happen in the Republican Party and that is the Republican Party establishment has largely become homeless they become the never Trumpers another signing up with the Democrats and the Democrats don't want them the Democrats don't want bill Kristol Democrats don't want Max boot the Democrats don't want Jonah Goldberg Democrats don't want these people why would they trust them they don't so these people are literally politically homeless they're trying to create new magazines new cruises but now they got to go out and sell their expertise to Democrats after years and years of claiming to be the conservative intelligentsia they're a mess and the Democrats do not want that happening to them and they look at it happening to the Republicans because trump won and in a way it did because these two these are his words were too short sighted to not get behind trump now the Republican party's unified like it never has been but it doesn't include the Republican establishment doesn't the Republican Party is trump's Republican Party going forward destruction ninety two percent of the Republican Party supports trump and who's on the outs well I mean take your pick of it Paul Ryan resigned as speaker of the house where is he and there's a bunch of them that have quite much Republicans quit a bunch of him the RNC that used to be a power brokers that no longer are the Democrats see this I don't want it happening to them particularly since they run the town so it it's going to take one of their own being the nominee and that's by it's going to take one of their own defining the party even when it loses and that's right it can't be Bernie it can't be a pro fest and about socialists and communists that just exposes them way too much to the truth of what their party is they they're no longer than that they they would have to they would have to now if money Sanders were to somehow win the nomination they're going to have to oppose it in order to maintain their own comfort the worst thing can happen that's why I think they'll pull out all stops once again to keep him from getting the nomination and I don't think we've seen one third of what they're capable of and I don't want to go speculating because lord knows when I start writing jokes about these people I am to be in right so I don't want to make jokes about Bernie's health records for example I don't want to make jokes about Bernie's propensity to have accidents for example I don't wanna I don't wanna go there I'm just telling you and I don't know that plugs in to be the nominee either but I can I can tell you that but it's it's a much more conceivable reality than I thought it was the last time I assure you that it wouldn't be now let's give you the latest example of plugs now this can go all the analysis of this can go either way is it yesterday in Houston a campaign event not only the border judging clovers are signing up in battle all work who's done nothing but lose has signed up and M. Biden wants him to be the minister of gun removal or some such thing in his in his administrate battle all wrong because done nothing but was an beiden eagerly brings them on board this is not about that oh I'm just sharing information with this is this is a yesterday Houston campaign event and plugs is trying to recite the the preamble to the declaration of independence we hold these.

Anton registered as a democrat for the first time this year, he's been high-dollar fundraising for Democrats. Including congressman Rohrabacher is opponent. This really has been a defining year for him. He says President Trump has been undermining democratic institutions though, he says his thinking was starting to change a few years ago. Antone voted for President Barack Obama, even though Democrats usually push tax policies that cost wealthy people like him a whole lot to me his policies from a business perspective hurt me. Okay.
