"Thirteen has ADP for some reason is one fifty four people are sleeping on. McColl Hardman in my advice to you is. Don't let that be you. I don't think I. I expected anything other than that from the amount, but that's a valid point with that ADP. He's definitely going to outperform that I. don't see how he really can. T only needs fifty targets, forty receptions, and a couple touchdowns really I got a couple of bottles for Matt. You're ready I'm ready all right so with hardman. His production came when tyreek Hill. Hill was out of the lineup so to me I tree harmon more like a wide receiver handcuffed for hill. He is there to be tyreek hill if he's gone. That's why they drafted him. They didn't trade up because they were in love with them. They traded up because they had to. Because I was when Harry kills all off off, the field issues they're. They're very valid points, but not all of his production came anti retail was out. He did score I. Don't have it in front of me, but he scored a couple of touchdowns when hill was out in a couple of when hill was in, but yeah they did move up and drafted him in the second round, because tyreek Hill had his off field. Field issues, but they view him as a Tyreek Hill. Replacement and Tyreek Hill is a pretty good player to be viewed as a replacement that can take his spot. He's extremely fast. He prove last year that he has good hands. He was really really good when he was on the field, and it's not unusual for a team to hold back a rookie you. You only played. In forty four percent of the offensive snaps eastward seven total touchdowns, a guy that has a very clear path being the wide receiver number two in an offense led by Patrick Mahomes, going in the thirteenth round I. Don't know why he continues to move the wrong way. Do Not Draft Sammy Watkins over Michael Hartmann. See and I'm on the. The other side of that I will take walk INS over Hardman Just looking at the playoffs go walk ins did compared to what hardman did Hardiman was barely on the field when the chiefs are in the playoffs Sammy Watkins said huge game. You know especially in the Super Bowl so I'm on the side of Watkins..

"J Kamler from Penn State's. He's a smaller guy is about five. Nine hundred seventy pounds. He is supposedly going to light the combine on fire. I look at K. J. Handler and I I called him earlier this week. I called him. Hollywood brown taken the right round. I think he's going be like around two player and I think you know. He's he presents some of this similar abilities. That Hollywood Brown does I think he's going to. He's fast like he's definitely fast on the field. I think he's like more fluid than McCullough Hartman. I'll I think macos a little bit linear I think a guy like K J handler I think he's got more ability To potentially develop the route runner because he's more fluid through his entire body but he's still got that long speed. He's got some tracking ability over his shoulder. Saw Him do that this week. When I was watching him he's vertical threat. They tried to Penn state tried to use him after the catch a little bit and like on short on short throws. You really wasn't bad effective but I think as a vertical stretch guy. I think he's got a lot of potential really curious to see how he tests. I don't think the chiefs made a lot of sense for him and I think he's probably GonNa go in the round in the second round chief England ninety-five asked. Who's a player? You would love to see get drafted by the chiefs. Even though it might not be position of need. This is always one of the most difficult questions with the guys that we've already mentioned on this. Podcast Patrick Queen or Jeffrey Khuda items. Say CD LAMB. And the chances of him falling down that far just as rare as one of those guys however in this wide receiver class if lamb world's slower forty times that people are kind of expecting. I think there's a slim chance. His athletic testing can push him down. There and CD lamb for me is the best wide receiver in this class. I love everything about this game. And I think he he would fit in perfectly with the chiefs also along with being an excellent receiving prospect. Yeah my guy. I'm glad he didn't take it because I was worried. He might edge defender. Aj EPA ESA from Iowa. I finally got eyes on him earlier this week. He was phenomenal. I he really his pass. Rush plan is Great. He's got an entire toolbox. He's two hundred eighty pounds. He doesn't move like he's two hundred eighty pounds he he would fit so well and spags scheme. I'd love to add him to this rotation because he has that inside outside versatility and just his awareness. His smarts and his plan are going to fit in. So what we've seen Frank Clark. Set guys up all game long. A. J. F. comes in with that exact same ability. You're going to see guys that are closers. They win in the fourth quarter give me. Aj Episode I'M GONNA go receiver to a guy that I think actually has a chance to be there at the end of thirty. Two CD. Lay Mike I I would love Ct. Liam I agree with this is not going to happen. most likely but t higgins from Clemson. I think would be a really fun. Add to this offense. I think he could play your ex. He's a big physical receiver. He's good after the cat. She's got some after the cash value. Not quite like CD LAND. But he still does have some after the catch ability. He's physical through contact. He's good at the pet catch point and he might wind up being a better athlete than some people. Think and I as far as I mean he he could be absolute stud for this group And I think he would fit in pretty quickly to like. I think you could get some production Outta here. Had Out of him in year. One Curtis Clarisse asks. What are your thoughts on? Free Agent Sean Lee or snacks Harrison. Maddie I WANNA ask you this because I know you've already had some snacks. Harrison thought I have no interest in Charlene. Unfortunately stay on the kids. Stay on the field and I'm not sure his plight now is actually not much of an improvement over what the chiefs had last year. We took the last two Dallas Cowboy linebackers that had to fill in for him when he was injured every time. So snacks Harrison. Yes bring him in absolutely do it yesterday. He seems like he's contemplated with retirement. It seems like he might be willing to give it another go. He's gotTa do his family thing. He's taken time for himself at his family right now. Which is great for him but he was still a quality player last year. His play dipped a little bit but not so much that he wouldn't be useful in a role here the last time he was was seized by goal he was one of the most dominant defensive tackles. You will ever see that does get to double digit sacks because that's not as flashy. He was an absolute tear undersea signal before he fits perfectly the mold of a rug stopping defensive tackle that has this rare lateral agility for a guy his size to really shoot through gaps. He he would be perfect. Along with Mike. Melvin joined this defense room. Dwi achieves ask them. We're in close on this and I thought it was pretty good question. It's an interesting one for maybe some people that don't have some of our opinions on last year's draft after last year's draft. What was what was. Y'alls feelings on Casey's picks let's go lake immediate response to those picks because it's kind of going to talk about our positioning on that okay Immediate response to those we. I wasn't high on the garment. He was fast. You can't teach speed but he had a lot of work to do at the time we thought maybe the chiefs are going to be without tyreek hill for a little bit like literally happened the day before that we were worried. That tyreek Hill wasn't going to be there at. I loved one thornhill. We thought he was a perfect fit. We would've taken him at twenty nine so getting him. That late was perfect. We'd like to call and Saunders. We love his upside. Love is ability to do things for shod fitting is one high on frankly He was in the thirties for me in corners in Casey draft guide. I thought he was more of a boundary corner. They played a nickel whatever. He was pretty good this year. And then Nikola Grady. We thought and Darwin Thompson both had super high ceilings. We were interested in them as players. We liked both of those picks. Quite a bit okay. Mccoll Hardman I did not like the value there fifty-six I thought he was. I thought he had a narrow path to success. Still kind of I don't know if I'm off that take entirely. I still think it's kind of narrow. But he found a lot of success doing the things that we thought he was going to do which was vertical plays manufacture touches. That was really. That was the definition of Nicole. Hardman's first year And he maximized himself in a phenomenal job in the role that he was asked to do. Want Thornhill loved was geeked out I would have been I. I think we've said we would have been happy with him in the first round if the taken want or no in the first round we would have been thrilled call and liked him. Rashaad didn't really have a strong take on them. Darwin had value. They believe in the fifth round so I had a value higher than where they got him. And Nick I'll agree. I didn't really have a strong take on either similar thoughts. These guys spend way too much talking time talking about stuff so we already knew it. I was probably the most adamantly against McCall rbis at least outspokenly Kim. I think felt about the same wages kept in a little bit more contain than I did but I just had been far surpassed when I thought of him even though his usage was very similar to what I thought it would be. I didn't see the full wide receiver repertoire coming from coming out of college. I think it got a little bit better as the year went on. But it's time I just simply did not see how he was going to translate to anything more than a third or fourth type wide receiver for Gimmick plays still might be by the way and Walton. He's he's good at what he does but I don't know what is ceiling is and that's why we had the concerns when we did anyways. Continue One thornhill was a guy. We were on draft season. We were huge fans. We love to visit a free safety. His fit was perfect Dave. We wanted him in the first round. We put him in the first round of many mock drafts. We love that pick I thought was maybe a little high for him because he was still project but I liked the potential upside the athleticism he brings was great. I was a big Darwin Thompson Fan. I thought he was very good now. I'm kind of drawn towards guys into Raynham workout freaks warriors so the fact Darwin Thompson was completely yoked a caveat. That was just extra fun. That's like an extra free round bumper something like that but I liked his game. I thought it was really good and I love seeing him. Try to hurdles fifteen guys in one game. I actually did not see. Make our play a single stack for drafted him and Rashad Hidden. Didn't have stroke feelings on. I watched him wasn't impressed but didn't dislike him either. I just was pretty whole-home on that picks that's a whole wrap up the biggest takeaway. I had from last year's draft Z. May still not the best thing. You can get barbecuing world. You get off of this podcast already. We're all going to get off of this podcast. That's going to do it. For the mailbag this week. We will be back in the middle of the week with. Super Bowl Player Predictions
"All right Kramer kick things off. What is your first? I Chiefs Related Super Bowl profit. Well we started by talking about We started super bowl week by talking. About how one of the angles is this chiefs rushing attack I the niners rushing defense. which is the weakness of this team? They are San Francisco's defense thirteenth and adjusted line yards on the D. Line in eleventh and DVR against the run. This team has not gone under this total of eight and a half eighteen rushing yards. They've only got under that once in the last. Ten Games I it seems almost too obvious that they'll they'll be attacking hacking this angle so it gives me a little pause but like I said they've gone over this total nine out of ten. It's not a bad matchup. People will point out all with San Francisco's got a great defense. They got a good defense. They don't have a great defense against the run so there will be opportunity. Andy Andy. Reid is one of the greatest coaches in the again. One of the greatest offensive minds not to win a superbowl for sure not to win the Super Bowl but he he he gets running backs ax to produce no matter what they look like. So eight and a half yard seem silly. They've gone well north of two hundred in both games. This does seem really low. Oh I couldn't be jumped right off the screen emmy as a former tight end as a A former are you referencing as a former China and I also worked with a hall of Fame First Ballot Rob Gronkowski which Danny worked on the show as well we got a witness not know how to Pronounce Chore Four In Person. George sure calling worse. Instead of Chore Sports He Kept Calling at George Sports all right rob just one more time. He's like coming up George now the wartime I think it's the sports and then finally the Co host is like you don't know what a chore is like Washing Dishes Sweeping floors and he goes. I never did any jurors ores growing up. I was too busy scoring touchdowns to smile. This big GROG again channel. He thinks he's GRONK. He thinks he's King of the BRAS. There's only one continue the bras. And it is Travis Kelsey. I'm taking Kelsey to have more receiving yards than than kindle over. You're still you're still avenging. Take a loss in the albro category. I was bullshit that he didn't get in. And I think kindles little overrated and I liked the minus one and a half yards Kelsey Chelsea against Kendall that's risky bro. Kelsey is an a seasoned bro now older Keel. Those two young. He's only as a young and up and coming Bro. I I think he's again. This is just I had the early take. I kill sucks at home instead of adjusting to the optics or the reality. I'm GonNa just lean in. I'm going all in on trump. So you know. Sometimes you're presented with evidence and you just have to ignore it. I'm locked in. I'm okay I was GONNA see. Danny I know you gave me your props one. You liked Nicole Hardman. I just love McCall Hardman in this game we he. He caught a pass in the chargers. Game to really start the ball. This was the week. Seventeen chargers game caught a pass to get the ball. Rolling with our offense later had a sweep. Like they're we're GONNA use them. They've been waiting to use him for something if he's maybe it's a sammy. Watkins Pass. I would say if you're gonNA scheme something like that up the other end of it is going GonNa be somebody like Nicole Hardman McColl Hartman. Scores a touchdown in this game was three hundred over at my book. Make some money this guy. They've been sitting on what he can do all season. They've been waiting for him to get better at whatever the hell it is route running. You know timing. Whatever it is that he needed to do? He's doing it. He's more trust in the offense. I think more so than demarcus Robinson I think he scores a D.. In this game let me ask you Sean. Do you take over twenty three and a half yards over one and a half catch or over fifteen and a a half yards for longest catch. Well I guess I'll jump to my second one because it's literally one of those. How when I wrote it down McColl Hardman's that's total over? mybookie was twenty three and a half up to twenty six or twenty. Six ounce. Sounds like it's down to twenty three and a half. Do whatever it is. I like it over. This kid is a burner. Oh I think he can get it in one catch again speed kills and I think they're gonna be focusing on Hill. He's along I don't think is going to have a huge game now. Maybe breaks it off. Maybe he does but I think Sal is going in there with that mindset of. We're not letting tyreek Hill beat us in this game so I I'm throwing a little a little tiny tyreek hill and beat and didn't mention the field. That's always trying to move past that I feel like don't you. You want to protect yourself against that one catch for twenty one yards and just take longest reception over fifteen and a half. Oh see well that was total yards. But you're right I yeah what do you want to do. So you're saying I feel you'd be gets a catch. It's going to be like a twenty yarder. Always does he get the second catch to get over catch props over the total total yardage lab take longest or first reception is twelve and a half yards now. Hopefully they don't go to a screen or something to him. It's Y- yeah. Is it a reception as it. Total yards what we talking about my twenty three and a half was total receiving received but Kramer is making a case here and a good case. That maybe you're better off off just playing the over. I catch or global catch. He's only expected to have one and a half. So maybe two and they're saying twenty-three which means they're expecting directing two catches of twelve yard. That's an interesting way to all right so you talked me into all right. GimMe Gimme. I'll switch it up. I'll give I'll go over. I catch twelve and a half yards. Now no actually. I'll stick with my total because I want to. If he doesn't get it on the I catch then I have some live bets. Already have have too much stuff going to see what we're having here is. We're having the synapses firing in my going on right. Now we're in the car with with Johnny and Johnny's Janis driving and we just had a discussion that he was going to have with his buddies later. Now he doesn't have to have that conversation tech. We've sorted it out. He's not gonNA play. I cash over twelve and a half hour. We're going to move forward. What's your second point of the discussion? Sammy Watkins over three and a half catches this is I ah I I know I'm chasing a little bit. But I do like the angle that they are gonNA shut tyreek Hill down. I like the angle that they're going to try to shut Travis Kelsey down and and I'm probably going to attack props around everyone else A Hill and Kelsey are going to be the chalk your plays for the yardage rich props be more people will probably play those overs. So I'm GONNA attack is like Sammy. Watkins and I think he is the guy that is going to benefit the most. Because he's the guy that seems to be running more their possession stuff and as they stretch the field vertically Sean they call that taking the top off the deep and that leaves a lot of room in the middle for a guy like Samya walk in so I really like him to get three and a half catches. I mean you you got to figure how many throws is Patrick Mahomes GonNa have. I can't imagine he's having less than forty throws which means I can't imagine having less than like thirty two thirty two catches and then if you take the attempts so over or even the pass yards over with homes what is actually looked at it. Plays out in both scenarios. Where either they're throwing the ball a lot and winning or if they do get down there behind hind they're playing catch up? It makes sense for either a Kansas City win or unfortunately San Francisco win the over and and then passing the ball. It does kind of make sense. We haven't talked a ton about the running backs Darwin Thompson. What is he involved in this game I think so I mean the over are underway? What one and a half Kerry Russia rushing attempts? I mean there's lesean McCoy is persona non grata. Now he's he had some fumble issues he. He's he's actually quick and I have liked watching him break off a few

"At night. I'm actually GONNA hang around for fifteen minutes to bank about championship Wednesday in about I would say six or seven minutes. We'll take your questions to get them in six nine three zero six questions comments whatever you wanNA say about this. AFC Title Game Kenton. I will react. I want to play some of my favorite sound from Kansas City's championship Wednesdays with. NFL Network is calling it a from earlier today. You saw this this camp there has been a video going around Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelsey and how they're in each other's head Andy. Reid spoke about that relationship today. It's rare I mean. His leadership diversity is ability to feel Me I don't know if you can teach that part You teach teach the fundamentals and those things but and they put their own personality on it and you want to make sure that that takes place. He's done that He's been able to lead. I think we're that locker room grown up where that came Comes into effect as it helps with the leadership that he's not afraid did they. Put it out there and you know you see in his dad and other leaders on that T- on the different teams Step up when they needed to know that. Somebody's not going to laugh bachelor. Do that type of stuff. So you step yells step out and do that and feel comfortable. He's comfortable with that. And then the all the wrist and throwing from different motion are different angles accent. That's baseball. I mean that that helps you play a lot more baseball than he. The football early so he knows all those released points at what he can get away with from those spots. I didn't know we'd get in the youth sports here but that's just just a message. Let your kid play everything. Let them play everything. Devos mass leading skills outside the football field so they translate elsewhere makes sense in the world. Go play sports kids. One thing that stuck with me about this week and everything that's going on is the way the chiefs are winning and how they're tapping into the energy of tire matthew with Jan Sorensen pointing to his helmet that Dan looked so awkward. Doing it too does not look as clean as when siren. Does it. The guys on offense saying things like Chamber Swagger McColl Hardman. He's tweeting weeding tyrant matthew about being the landlord and I asked Matthew today I said. Do you feel like you accomplished something because on day one you said you were going to be a leader of this defense dance and no. There's more to play for. But what do you think about accomplishing that. That goal that you would set for yourself. Yeah you know I think ultimately you know You Know Oh my job isn't done you know and I think being a leader of being a guy who has you know big picture goals you know. I understand that you know in order letter to to really accomplish something I gotta finish it so I think that's my mindset Never really get caught up on. You know being all poor being the lead or being Dan a landlord obviously is good to Kinda have those feelings and emotions but Think ultimately molly job here is to finish the job. Yeah I think one of the things that so impressive about this team and I think you've gotta credit tire. Matthew is that process out process oriented. They are I think tire Matthew's been a big piece of that. I think him an in Patrick Mahomes on both sides of the football ever really been so committed to the process and keeping everybody process oriented as they build as they continue to grow towards. What they're they're about two potentially accomplish? It's so critical to this team is why they're there. I like that. It's led to other guys. He's I've explained that like this on on a number shows this year it's like a boost and madden where guy goes from seventy eight to eighty two because he's next to tire and Matthew One of those guys in my opinion Anthony Hitchens. This who tired Matthew Communicates to get everyone in line Talked about their relationship today. Think of a couple of plays were Time than practice where my guy went to flat real fast if I could just picture this last week and he actually took my guy and I stopped play. took his guy. It was just one when I seen that happen. I'm like okay now. We're kind of like playing playing off each other and we're dealing and stuff like that and And we've got one mindset as a defense and pretty much as a team so a lot of guys aren't thinking like and As pretty much this you know show up compete and get guys lined up so we pay fast. They say it takes time for new defense to develop but when guys are talking like this it sounds genuine and it's honest and it really feels that way you can see why the time was really necessary and now you can tell the way he's talking about Sarin Matthew where he knows where he's going to okay without looking over. That just goes to show. That spags wasn't like lip service. This is actually a defense that developed into exactly what he was thinking about they. They worked so hard to get to at this point. I think that's part of what is why they've they've come to this point. They've gotten their so rapidly. Because I I. I'm impressed with how far along they are. I mean I. I had a feeling that they would get better. I didn't think it was going to look like this. And the communication. The effort the time that they're putting in behind the scenes together to commit to so kick to getting better. It sounds like a cliche and you hear Patrick Mahomes say it every week. We're just trying to get better day by day. Play by play. It's real. They actually are applying that time type of commitment inside that Locker Room. That's why they are to the point where they're at right now. Patrick Mahomes also in. This'll be my my last sound before we get into the mailbox will get your questions in but Patrick Mahomes was asked. How does he feel compared to the last time the chiefs played the titans? Yeah I mean definitely more comfortable. I think that's the biggest thing Being that I came back off the injury. You don't know exactly what to expect. You trusted China's you trust all the doctors who who say you're good to go but you still don't know you have Iran at that speed with the pads on game speed So definitely feel more canal kind of having the games that are my belt and been lucky enough to have been healthy late. This late in the season Mahomes is healthy. Good luck you're not wrong and he did look a little bit more uncomfortable. The first time you see what is really occurred to me in my watch and Andy. Reid confirmed this early this afternoon. Soon is he looks a lot more sure of himself when he's about to scramble and I'm yeah and I think that's such a big part of his game and it's not really talked about as much as it should be because has when he has that aspect it opens guys up it's more of its willingness to. I think he's more willing to to get out of the pocket and do those things. He's been very smart about when he's done it and it's when teams are playing main coverage the running down the field. He's he's been utilizing his legs really well he everything looks about as normal as you could expect although he's just he's playing at a ridiculous level level that Texans Game I'm telling you the feet were on point. He was delivering all kinds of different areas of the field. Just with perfection. I mean if he plays like that. No one's beaten them all right. Let's wrap this thing up with the mail bag. Get your questions in six nine three zero six or on twitter at Arrowhead Pride Badger is the QB on. I think we'd all agree with that Chris. Jones he's on my mind. I hope he plays on Sunday. Yeah it'd be a nice addition for Lila reasons. Craig said he's kind of a boom bust player in the run game but if a script that's more for for passing I mean he's.

"Came roaring back Williams gets the touchdown extolled. Kansas City continues to or that's forty. Consecutive points scored scorned by the Kansas City. Cheats who now lead forty two twenty Diculeng. That sounds Kevin Kugler Westwood one on the Fan Forty consecutive where they outscore Houston fifty fifty one to seven after falling behind by twenty four points. Patrick Mahomes threw for three twenty one five touchdowns played you the Damian Williams touchdown run their eight a couple. All those heroes mahomes down a bunch. Yeah was not exactly how they drew it up. Didn't want to be in that in that spot. But the biggest thing that I think I was preaching to the team. Let's go do something special Let's go do special everybody's already counting us out. And they did figure it out and they didn't do something special. Will you guys talked about the social trolls on for number of people that I mean even Vegas had him at plus three thirty to come back and win the game which is a pretty high number so I mean I think a lot down twenty four. Nothing is the last one one quarter you know as far as bad as the ravens played in the first half against the Tennessee. Titans they were down. Eight point seven touchdown. Yeah I agree I mean it's nothing so you got to take these things with a grain of salt. I'm thinking okay. Twenty four nothing just next series. Get a touchdown. Mega twenty four seven turn the momentum little that I know that McColl Hardman was going to have that great run. I'm back and that was the impetus that started the whole thing for the chiefs and he finally got somebody to make a play. Well the biggest thing was the Texans stop scoring. I mean that was it you. They had one touchdown after that out of this score they blocked the punt. You had a muff punt. What are you hoping for a muff right? And they got him off from plus. There's it was that bill cower. Ui That's me. Yeah really right. No I don't remember that. I do not remember that other bill cowher when he was sitting in one day. Don't why would he yell muff like that. Why would he say anything? uh-huh you talk about everything right. Here was bill. O'Brien why the field goal on fourth and one twenty-one nothing thing rather than go forks look they were going to they call time out and then kick for three. I was thinking about challenging the spot because I felt like I had I out so by the time Got To the it was a fourth down. I just decided to kick the field goal. I also saw don't have we didn't have a play for that. I personally think that he wanted to go forward and was talked out of it by coaching. Well they kicked with Iran's come on get the field goal we got the field goal here you know and you start listening to all these other voices in your ears years and you say we'll go kick the field goal and that was a very conservative thing to do and probably the right thing to do. Given the circumstances at that point in the human and it might have been the right thing to do. If they don't allow fifty eight yard kick return right to that here was Shawn Watson. Was this the most disappointing loss of your career. And no I I mean. Of course it's the last one so it is but I mean it goes along and you know it happens in every career and you know we just keep pushing forward and learn from NASA rough on twenty four nothing and then to blow itself. Kansas City Tennessee on Sunday the NFC game and on Sunday was the packers and the seahawks and green bay striking quickly.

"Saying the bye week is major and you understand why now the chiefs as he said get a chance to rest our legs. That's the defensive side of the football on the offensive side wide receiver. McColl Hardman also spoke to media. Take us through the I mean this is my first time for that game I couldn't get a chance to get an early and I was Kinda mad cause I it was like man I would just want to get a chance to get out. And then the last one I I've seen the whole senior crease in hit ain't nobody here so go ahead and go to finally break one because you've been close to. Who's been very good to do it now to reward a guys in front of me you know? Because they've been working hard all season they've been blocking good luck on all season just reward is great thing so hopefully I can get get him some more in our God notice what they do so different from four yards Lombard Go longer next time Maybe I come eight eighty next time. Maybe you know so but it is good. I'm just happy to get on my decision. Whether to bring the ultimate you know by Toga or gear Medium alker listening is five six denies. Stay in but you WANNA take it out you know you just need smart with it entities as how to me man and all but he just want to do so and the day. I kind of just the sideline little nervous but did you see the replay to make sure you enter. Did you go throughout the day. I assu I guess it was clear cut. So when he when he won't come before he wasn't trying to come on I'm not worried about.

"Tight end travis. Kelsey the after the game three receptions twenty four yards and you hear him saying the words that every chief is saying right now championship swagger. They're not satisfied with the bye week. They're not going to be satisfied with divisional regional win or an AFC title win. They WANNA win. The Super Bowl is the only option for this team. Were the defines success with the chiefs getting to the Super Bowl or you define success the chiefs getting to the Super Bowl in winning it before the back the brinks truck of perpetual bomb. We gotta take a break pretty soon here but I do WanNa get to some calls really quickly. They've been waiting for a while Jordan. What's on your mind because I just curious your opinion and if I'm fooling myself tell me but I feel like the last few weeks we've been seeing a vanilla version of the offense. Maybe like eighty seventy five percent of what it's capable of. Yes feel like there's times when if we put the ball in the homes hand he can make a play but instead we're running we're not seeing hardman in the passing game. I'm just curious if I'm having a conspiracy theory there are no I take speak as I've been talking a lot about this. The chiefs offense. When you consider the defense they played it's been outstanding charges chargers defense though joke six in the NFL in total defense the bears were third in scoring defense? The broncos a right there right there hovering outside the top ten as far as scoring defense offense and then the patriots with cheese planned the Patriot number one scoring defense in the NFL. They've played the best of the best when it's considered the defense and I do think they've kept things relatively calm home because of just feeling with his office I think last year has made me and obviously other fans just a little bit used to any lead offense I think the chiefs right now have a good offense. I think it's solid but wasn't that is paired with a really good defense which you have is a better chance to win the Super Bowl be because the team's complete so I would agree. I think last year just felt like they were scoring at will. Isn't the case this year. Just isn't it's a little bit different. You can make a case for the defenses but what at the end of the a day matters. It says they're scoring more points than the other team and for six straight games headed into the playoffs. They've done that. And they got a second round by arm. Sergei first round by a number two seed because of that. No no question the defensive complete football team and you lose the chiefs. been this complete top ten scoring defense seventh in the NFL. The offense it's been where they're at with third or fourth the NFL ninety seven. The chiefs defense was number one in scoring defense fifth in scoring offense. Except you did not have Patrick Mahomes and ultimate when they get to the playoffs playoffs. You saw the conservative nature which they approached. The playoffs ended up losing butch. What'd you think of the game gentle our about those dolphins opens my goodness? Can you believe that look. What did they tell me? We would call luck something they call this love. What is luck? It's when opportunity me hard work and we put ourselves in this opportunity but going on the road and being a team like New England looking pretty from Gondwana Thornhill is GonNa take a lot to replace him but this team is built to go into the playoffs and light teams up on offense. I don't think we've seen the best offense yet. We will see it for the second season is upon us. Go Out by Ryan Fitzpatrick Jersey while you gotta chance and watch. The playoffs savor the flavor of this. This is going to be arse inch and the title town. We're GONNA put Our Name on a banner in twenty twenty. y'All go achieve. Love that call from Butch. I've seen already a chiefs Jersey with Ryan Fitzpatrick name floating around on twitter. Schon what's on your mind Sean. How's it going guys? Great man what's up. Hey what's Fitzpatrick's foundations. So we can start sending a little bit of Joe Joe. His glacier appreciation like the bill Burr. This has been this has been floating around already on social social media six tenths sports zone. Cody tap just tweeted it out concussion. Foundation Dot Org. So if you're interested in that there you go I'll definitely top fifteen bucks. Thanks guys goatee. There you go. That's another call again. It seems like that's something people are doing. Kansas City fans donating to another legacy foundation. HAPPENS TO BE IN BOSTON. The Best Jesus but that that is fine. It's a good gesture for chiefs fans towards Ryan Fitzpatrick the foundation when we come back citizens loyal to your veered company beard beard. When we come back? You'll hear from Chris Jones and McColl Hardman and we will name are playing the game. You're listening to the Arrowhead Pride.

"Patrick Mahomes Tyron Matthews proven. Maybe be the most important player on this team right. And that was a huge the whole right L. E. J. C.. When you end up having to cut Justin Houston and Eric Berry who used to fill those positions? You needed to bring in leadership to go along with Chris Jones. It wasn't GonNa be Chris Jones alone here and tired Matthew said from day one. I'm going to come in and be a leader for this team. We talked to tire and right after the opening presser and he had talked about a phone. Call that Patrick Mahomes had with them. Where Pat Pat? Call them up and said listen. I got the offense. I've been needing a defensive leader and you're the guy and he's taken it to heart and he's done nothing but delivered to this point. I think the Tire Matthew has been the perfect free agent signing yeah. I can't think of when we first found out they were actually signing him and all the conversations that we had Sammy yes one hundred percents out of the Samuel about what he was going to be as a player. He is being exactly that. Like if you WanNa talk about bang for your buck value and getting a certain player in having him live up to the expectations. Tyra Matthew was done that and some probably yeah no doubt Out And finding guy in free agency and when you pay a lot of money there's always a risk there and it doesn't it feel like to in sports a lot of times it doesn't work out more within it works out for you. This is perfect. This was the perfect signing. He was the right age. And I think the signs were there. And you just have to see if it if it came to fruition but the fact that Houston made him a team captain with just one year there that spoke volumes to me. The fact that Bill O.. Rien this off season. We really wanted to keep this guy. They end up not not to say that has anything to do with it but they get rid of their GM after they get outbid by the Kansas City chiefs all the signs were there and this guy like I said has done nothing but delivered. I anticipate him to be. Voted it as a postseason captain for the chiefs right now. We're talking to Pete Sweeney. His the editor in chief of Arrowhead Pride coming up in five minutes. We'll go rapid fire with questions. If you want to go ahead and get your question in sex on six nine three zero six chiefs or otherwise we can do so. Just be sure to go ahead and text in Shannon. I are on different sides about McColl Hardman and maybe his development as a player player. He only has four targets the last four weeks for the Kansas City chiefs. I think at this time we started to see tyreek Hill. Kind of be used less as a gadget player and more as a wide receiver. I don't think that's happening with Nicole. Hartman I certainly think he has a bright future I think he's an impact playmaker. I'm not saying that. He can't have an impact in the playoff game. The way we saw in the game game against the Patriots but I think now expecting him to be on the field for forty forty five snaps of a playoff game or getting seven eight targets. I would say that we're past that point with Michael Hartmann. Call me crazy. I just think there's something going on here. I think there might be some kind of package some kind a couple of plays at Andy Reid has in his pocket where he's going to unleash tyreek Hill McColl Hartman at the same time for bulk of snaps. Yes and the opposing defense is not having to have it seen it. They're not going to know what to do. And they're gonNA cash somebody by surprise when they really need a win. Maybe that won't be until they have C.. Title Game. I I just got to believe I mean you see what he can do at the ball in his hands and I wrote a whole article on it last weekend about how he should play more on. The chiefs responded to that by playing him eleven snaps so That was pretty silly But like I said I still pushed this guy. This guy needs the ball in his hands. More he's been more effective with the ball in his hands. And Sammy Watkins. The chiefs have other weapons and he's just behind been in behind a few guys. I think there's a lot of teams in the National Football League. Where if Nicole Hardman had been on it at this stage of the game he'd be getting close to one hundred percent of the Sam McCall Hartman has twice as many touchdowns? San Joaquin's does right and he's second on the team in touchdowns only behind tyreek hill and we're talking about a rookie. I'm not saying you deserve this pro bowl knob. But he's been really really good which rookie he thinks had a bigger impact hardman or one thornhill. Yeah it's a good question. It's easy to go to the touchdown but I just think the amount of snaps that want Thornhill L. has gotten an Eaton for the chiefs. I mean they were really think soft at the safety position the fact that he's been able to come in and sort of replace those snaps that would have otherwise went to Daniel Sorensen. Anson is huge. And you know again. It's it's not always a statistics thing the chiefs really at the time and you can go back to that whole story during the summer. They didn't necessarily we need a wide receiver. But who knows if they really knew that and so they go and get one Lo and behold I think you gotta give it to one thornhill. How close are you GONNA be watching Buffalo at New England on Saturday? I'll be watching it man. It's it's it's big for the chiefs That's the game. I I really think. Now we're we're all in Kansas City bills fans we. We'd like to see the bills do it and I think they can. I think the bills have shown you now. During the stretch especially that there were legitimate threat and New England. At least the past few weeks says has has looked to be a little bit vulnerable. And this is buffalo's chance really. I mean they can even get themselves back in the division conversation so yeah it should be a good game. I think I speak for all of the Kansas City and saying let's go bills last question here. Pete Elise regarding McColl hardman. Do you think that Andy's lack of trust for young players is maybe what's crippling him him. Because aside from being the dynamic one big play long touchdown they've never really shown McColl hardman. Trust outside of when Tyreek Ezekiel was hurt and since tyreek Hill has come back from injury. I mean the last six games. For the for McCall hardman zero catches against Minnesota one catch against Tennessee. He had the long touchdown play. Remember in the middle of the field to catches against the chargers zero against Oakland. One against New England the long touchdown and then against Denver had one catch like he hasn't really been a significant. They get member of the offense. Aside from one catch long touchdown in two of their games. I think it could be I. It's hard for me to blame that when Insp- being here I've seen seen Mitch Moore says a rookie. Be The center for this team. I've seen Kareem Hunt be lead running back and these are different situations but yeah I mean it could could be a lack of trust in them. Not being veterans but at the same time. I think I've just seen too many rookie contributors over the years to that. Okay I I don't know if it's an experience thing. PD Not Thomas. What's up.

"Fullback tight end hybrids or when you have the transition. The young players have and we have such a high expectation of them. It being able to overcome every challenge that that they're graded on a different curve. And if you put Patrick Mahomes on New England's offense they they win the Super Bowl Wyoming away. You put your home team that defense. I WANNA know offensively. What would that be? Okay with exact with New England's group. It's Patrick Mahomes. Tell me what that looks like. I'll tell you what it looks like. You know what Philip door reset becomes a legitimate deep threat and Keel. Harry has the type of season McColl Hardman's having now that he's back in the lineup and we're not whining about the lack of a fullback. Because 'cause if you wrap patrimony during your team you're not trying to run some eye formation nineteen sixties offense. You're throwing the ball around the field. They ran the reason the center the blocking tight end fullback rollback or so desperately important. Because you've got a forty two year old man at quarterback so you have to lean on the run game they would love. Are you kidding me what it would look like if Patrick Mahomes. WHO's on this team with that defense? And I like Andy Reid. But that's schematic coaching advantage. What it would look like? It would look like an undefeated team team that is oh the overwhelming favorites to win the Super Bowl as opposed to a team that has gaudy record but is about to be Owen. Three against the three teams in the conference. Inference that matter the Ravens Texans and in four days the Kansas City chiefs. Tell me the Patrick Mahomes. Hasn't benefited significantly from having arguably the best tight end. And what are the most explosive loeser receivers Sylvia but now but now when you put them into a group that doesn't have anywhere near that level of ability. You're telling me that he's going to elevate those guys when when his weapons aren't available everybody's talking about the fact that that it's so challenging warm before he hurt his knee. tyreek Hill went out in week. One he didn't have the entire time and he was the best quarterback statistically in football the Patriots lost their center. The chiefs lost the A number one overall pick left tackle for eight weeks. No one gives a damn pardon me. They lost when they lost left tackle. They offer loft. They're less guard. Does anyone know no because teams lose of lime into injury every week in this league but because we are grasping for reasons. Why Tom Brady is gone two months without a great game? It's like well. What do you expect them to do with? I mean what do you expect him to do with an all time. Great Defense and the greatest coach ever and the best home field advantage in sports. It can't be his fault when it's clearly early partially his fault for the Patriots. Certainly the to get back to run into football. That's what they did well last year on the edge. I think that's a little bit of issue. Of course I'm going to ask you a question though we talk about the coachie matter. Andy Reid versus Bill Belichick. Who Do you give the ED's in that matchup? Well look they've been. I love Andy route and I think that Andy Reid put together the other offensive schemes. That are incredibly challenging. Because it's shifting its motioning its gadget formations. It's things that define man and zone where he's got three wide receivers the one side and the tight end on the backside and he's always created a lot of challenges. They faced each other for a long time so each time. You see a guy I again. There's going to be different things that come into play my question for Kansas City is how well are they going to handle the line games. That New England has incorporated more and more throughout the course of this year and has created a ton of problems for people they played and Belichick has a coaching edge over everyone but one thing that John Harbaugh has in his is favor is i. Don't think he's intimidated by going up against a check. I don't think Andy Reid is either the the game that everyone six years ago said to the end of the Patriot era was against the Andy. Reid team the only one hundred six and one sinned Brady took over when they have a halftime lead at home. The one was against Alex Smith concede chiefs in two thousand seventeen both games last year. The chiefs had leads in the fourth quarter. I think I Belgium has a coaching over everyone in the world. I don't think it's that it's not as big of a discrepancy against redesigns against other coaches. Andy has some level of success. I think your comments wasn't doing than having all time. Great defense is a little bit deceptive tube who based off of WHO. They played a season. I think you're seeing now more and more in line with where that defense is as they face offenses that are there a lot more slow. Not only only did Patriots face coaches these last two weeks. They weren't afraid of them. They face defenses. Weren't afraid of that offense. I'm.

"Though i do think kevin tighe beacon hill when the game helps sammy watkins i ah but here's the deal if you look at this tweet from ian rapoport right here though it's it and i'm going to read it to you. It's a rare injury. It's the same one packers wide receiver j. Kuma row had last year missed about two months no timetable on kill yet so a lot of speculation but at the same time this doesn't seem like this thing that you're gonna blink and it's going to go away. You might be without hill for a couple couple months. Sammy watkins is going to have to be that guy. He's gonna have to be the guy and you know guys like hardman demarcus robinson the roles going to be increased for him but this this is why you have depth the wide receiver. I actually felt the chiefs going to st joe's much as you and i did. You know sitting up. There would be k. and everything watching what was going on. Carrington eliza we look at the depth wide receiver. There was a lot of depth chief. Add it wide receiver dot kelsey. He's his role even becomes more now. Do you want to be the focus number one because remember when the chiefs played the patriots a couple of years ago in the playoffs they went into gay macklowe does banged up and kelsey was the only weapon you had right but when you have so many different weapons. You can't take everybody out clearly. Only the tyreek hill is important and you know what sammy watkins production. We'll see what it is because he has such a decoy when tyreek hill is on the field when he's not getting the ball watch the attention defense give tyreek hill. It's unbelievable running game better. You can't stack the box when a guy like taibbi killer mccoll hardman we have to step up see that speed be the legion zoom going down the field and doing that but he's a very integral part of this team even when he's not getting the ball just like the title game sammy watkins cnn's was productive because of the good thing about i think he'll to and and a lot of these receivers what they have in common is you give them a little bit of space a few steps space and they're gone and then chiefs are fortunate to have a few guys like that on teams. Go back to andrew or have you wondering what i did. I you know guys played hard and <hes> you know mccoll stepped in and that is saying and d. rob direction corruption at touchdown right there. He goes hand pulled down but he had an opportunity to score kelsey head. You know his his go..

"Players. We'll be down kabo. Just gotta be radio coming up. We'll patrick mahomes and the chiefs dethrone the patriots this season. They're working on it. That's next on first things first. That's one of the players that could abscond. It didn't forces teams hand next yes kabo here. I come all right patrick. Mahomes is coming off a nearly perfect year five thousand yards fifty touchdowns in an m._v._p. One little snag derail the chief season the net snag the patriots mahomes took the two losses to new england last year as a learning opportunity saying quote. You can't make mistakes against tom. Brady the and coach belichick and the patriots the way we did in both games early in the game. We obviously make things happen in the second half on both those games and gave ourselves chances to win win but if we just go in with the mindset of making adjustments even quicker making sure that you go out there with a game plan and execute it a high level just from the beginning. They're gonna keep executing so you better to nick. Take all that in. How do the kansas city chiefs get past the patriots. This might sound like the definition of insanity do the same thing again expect different results but i think you do what you did last year and expect different results because you're defensive. Personnel is a little bit better and your offensive personnel is the same plus the addition mccoll hardman and whatever you get from lasalle sean mccoy. I don't think you should pencil michelle mccoy in for elite level production out of the season last year but maybe better front back with andy reid one more season but anything from him seems a bit of a bonus to me but the chiefs offense are young great players. Young great players tend to get better as they are approaching approaching the prime of their career. I know the the assumption is we'll. Mahomes won't be as good as last year. Statistically he might not but he's certainly a better football player on september ember third two thousand nineteen then he wasn't september third twenty eighteen like he suffered no major injuries and went through a full season. He learned from all those things his quotes there are spot on on the in the patriot the two games against the patriots. The chiefs were down the first game. I think twenty four two nine at the half the second game fourteen nothing at the half in both of for those games they scored thirty one second half points against the new england patriots in both of those games patrick mahomes led to and in three fourth quarter comebacks against the patriots and in both of those games the defense could not get one critical second-half. Stop late in the game to win the game and when you add frank clark tyrone in matthew alex okafor's manual log the guy that you like a lot. The safety from euromonitor want thornton. Who again is a guy that i didn't watch a lot in college but people have liked him in the preseason. My guests is by early in the season. He's starting safety for the chiefs and you switch out defensive coordinators. Can you go from the thirty first best defense to the twenty fourth best defense vince if you can do that to me you can win the super bowl. You can beat the patriots you will beat the patriots because this is the best offense in the n._f._l. Led by right now the best quarterback in the n._f._l. Until someone takes that crown from it well listen. I think the defense i mean they have to be better. They can't be any worse than they were in two only eighteen but to me this team won't make the jump as as a team if they don't be able to be able to close out games and that's the one thing that we saw from this cheese team late in the season. So you saw their divisional match up with the chargers. They ended up losing a home game against the chargers late in the season because they couldn't close out game with lead..

"So it all leans out in the long run. Also you know they talk a lot about with the three four. You never know where that fourth defender is coming from. <hes> you'll know where you don't you know where the pressures coming from that often with spags either so just just keep noted that Jason Michael Asks Mekel or me Cool Hartman. I've been so far training Camp A._C.. Rocker also asked similar questions. Give us your complete thoughts on Miekel Hartman so far the only one that's got to see him and I'll just tell you I'm cautiously optimistic about him. There's I still think he's really need to develop and he really needs to grow as a route runner but what I'm kind of watching and seeing a little bit more love lately is it may not matter and they're still be maybe some opportunities for him to just run past people up and so it's kind of like they might be. We've talked a lot about Andy. Being able to utilize the speed trait more are better than most people can and they got the speed trae and he might just be able to put the burners on just do some of these these things he can get a free release off the line of scrimmage these playing off the line of scrimmage he might just be able to run passing people which and he might be open so there there might be opportunities for him to utilize realizes traits Mattie. What do you WanNa see you haven't seen him yet? But what do you want to see for me. Call during this training so I don't know if camps GonNa shed a whole month for me because it sounds like every every chiefs wide receivers popping off a training count against that's true that's been my reservation. I know I've been very vocal about Nicole. Hardman being very <unk> coal hardman for me so now that he's been a couple of highlights at camp people have been adding me a lot on twitter and I get it. It's awesome that McColl Hardman looks good it is I hope he's doing as well as it sounds but I've also seen highlights cody Thompson buyer pringle demarcus Robinson was making plays today tyreek Hill Samuel Jackson so on everybody's what he's making plays for the chiefs at wide receiver right now so I just want to see the preseason I wanna see if he has cleaned up his route running..

"Element here offense Kansas City takes a step back in terms of being best offense in the league average thirty five points per game last year. If you don't have that hill presence a lot of that's going away. Because he's the guy that everybody was scared of in terms of on the field a lot of people. Clearly scared him off the field as well. Topsy about you who do you have for number five on yours. Number five. I'm gonna go with the anti Thompson the safety out of while the cardinals picked him up in the fifth round and to to piggyback on the on the issue in terms of McColl hardman. There's a reason that the chiefs went up as quick as they did they traded up to number six to get him. You don't move up to get a guy like that. Unless you think that he's going to beat immediate impact player now with all the stuff that happened with Kareem hunt Kareem hunt gone now in Cleveland in tyreek hill, I think we're gonna see Padma Mahomes, Patrick Mahomes. Sorry now have. To carry that team last year. He had a lot of help. I think it's not going to be quite as explosive, but we're gonna have to see what Patrick Mahomes can do when he doesn't have the luxury of having tyreek hill or agreement, but I'm gonna go with Thomson just for this. I think he the fifth round falling all the way down to the one hundred thirty nine selection. He's got all the tools to be an incredible difference maker at safety. I think a lot of people were surprised by the knee issue something that it's degenerative. But if he's not worried about it, then I wouldn't worry about it. But thing that I like about this. It's all the value in the fifth round. Brian Matt Miller from the Bleacher report said he was the third best safety in the class called him the most.

"It's funny that you mentioned like an offense tackle right because it was Orlando Brown junior who had the worst combine five point eight five second forty slowest of the event and yet a pretty nice rookie season. So yeah, you know, a good reminder to not put too much stock into all of this. Or to remember that there are certainly outliers once I actually just as you're talking about the drills, and whether they matter in which ones matter, I'm very curious to see with the running backs. I feel like the forty might matter less now than three cone. Or maybe the shuttle's just because of the way the position is changing. And how much more they need to be used as pass catchers how much more there change of direction, perhaps matters. And so that's something. I'd keep an eye on there with some of the backs in this combine the forty it'll be interesting to see which guys are vying to top the John John Ross on the trade walk. So again, the combine them what? Although that there's a number of reasons for that. But so he's got that four point two forty. I gotta think guys like McColl hardman, maybe out of Georgia, and my beloved Peres Campbell outta high state could be vying to that. Freak athletes airs Campbell's that's for sure. And then the stuff you mentioned the word context earlier we're talking about evaluating quarterback apply abilities. You're right that like we get fixated on like a running backs forty times. And that's totally fair in some ways. I also look at it like this like why are richer consistently running vertically running backs might be running vertically like on a couple of occasions the game or they actually have the chance to break three. So I'm looking at more of like, okay that's short area quickness when you which might apply more play to play when you can make a guy miss in the whole or you have to make a decision between sort of following the lane that it was intended to be blocked for or taking calculated risks to jab out outside and try to get, you know, seven extra yards and the perimeter. So I think that as much as the forty yard dashes they made for TV event. The context of it is really important here. Well field as always provide that necessary context. And now you're gonna you're gonna provide. Answers because it's time for the final segment. And now, it's I for dinks and dunks. I'm getting paid for this, right? We're doing this at the mid point. Now, just because I feel. We're. Question one which combine drill? Would you do the best in? The bench press, obviously. How fast you could use around forty? I think like nine five is my guess. That's my I I'm really, yeah. The five I'm. Wow. Wow. You're not the tallest guy. Do you will, you know, but I'm deceptively Koldo, actually excessively. But do you are you like a runner? I'm a long distance runner. I'm not I'm not banned tans level. But I you know, I I do enjoy some time on the treadmill? It's been a while run a forty yard dash probably like my senior year college ten years ago. But I would think that they could at least the good news is I could at least run forty yards..

"But me if you if you really love football, and you really watch the game right now outside of quarterback. I think finding pass rushers de most important port of evaluating and the most important position on the on the field. I mean, you got to get to these quarterbacks and it used to just be edge rusher. But you look at Aaron Donald world, there's there's only one of them. But a guy like Aaron Donald shows, you if you can get there from the inside, it's even quicker to get to the quarterback, and you can cause even more disruption. So. Some people are frustrated with the lack of big name. Offense of skill guys. Is here I think it's an awesome draft. Couple quick hitters for Utah before I send John onto your rest of your Monday. The running back that could be the chimera of the group the guy who is the us a third fourth rounder that could come out of nowhere be. Everybody's fantasy football darling and make free agent running backs less. A prominent give me one of those rookies. Darrelle Henderson from Memphis is an intriguing player could be a third round pick, Rodney Anderson from Oklahoma. We'll fall because we coming off the injury this past year. But if he gets healthy, and right, he was a I think late first early second round prospect and another guy Memphis has two players. This is the later rounds. I'm talking about fourth fifth round. Toni Ballard is a former receiver moved into running back. Okay. Kinda do both and has some juice those are three. I think we're gonna wind up being value picks the running back to this jam. We'll see them on Friday. And then obviously the white outs on on Saturday with the defensive backs on Monday. And last one for you Todd breakdown, the fastest one who's who's gonna be the one that jumps off the screen when they're simul Cam Dover, yours truly from Iran, who's who's the fastest one who can break it. What do you got for me? I'm told McColl hardman from Georgia is going to be one of those guys, you know, in the fourth threes, potentially MacLaurin the wide receiver from Ohio State was the fastest guy with pads on at the senior bowl. And then the cornerback position. Who is I just walked I was just watching a corner. Name now. Who's kind of a off the radar type of guy that could run in the in the fourth threes. I don't know that we're gonna shoot another record this year. But I think there's there should be some four three or four more does Murray break four four you think. I wonder if he's gonna run if he does I say, yes, I say it'll be close by say, yes. Okay. Tom. I look forward to seeing indie. Thanks for the call. Really? Appreciate it. Todd mcshay at mcshea thirteen on Twitter. Come on. He's got to run. I understand why Lamar Jackson didn't run. I'm a thrower. I'm a quarterback. You are not gonna turn me into a wide receiver. Totally got that not playing into this. You're drafting me as a quarterback. I am a quarterback. Nobody's asking this kid to play wide receiver cause he's he'd get blown up over the middle in two seconds flat. Nobody's asking him to be a slash. What we need to see though, if he wants to be drafted in front of Dwayne Haskins is the speed. This is my difference between asks I'm faster than him. I can run on a two way threat. Not that kid draft me in him. And I'll do it on the NFL network. When everybody's watching. That's what I'm doing. And I'm gonna compete. I'm gonna show you what makes me special. I'm going to spin it. And the thing again him saying, I don't know where this started him not being measured. I'm all for that. Actually, he does every other drill and dominates. Who cares? How tall is how much you weigh? What is he afraid of of being measured? He is who he is. It's not as if he's going to grow anymore. We all know how tall he is. But we also know that we needed to official. No, we don't we don't know. How tall he is. We know that he's not tall. He was not. He was not at the. He was not at the senior bowl. He's not a senior. And you can't trust. What comes out of a school or media? God excuse me. Teams have to know how tall you are. What's the difference between five nine five ten? He's under six feet. Okay. We already understand that. He's a short quarterback. He will be the shortest quarterback in the NFL. We get it. Who cares if it's five nine and three quarters or five ten in one eighth? Not a big deal. I wanna see if he runs a four three five. I wanna see him. Throw it seven yards in the air. And I want to see him vertical forty inches. So what else what I wanna see? So what is the difference? If he if he verticals thirty nine instead of forty what does it matter? If he only out doing those events me let me finish. What's the difference? If he throws sixty five and seventy what's the difference? If he puts up twenty two reps or nineteen reps. What's different? You know, what the differences the number between what he did. And what you think he can do. It's part of an evaluation is not in that. Sure is hand size everything. Is not something you can control you can control if you bench twenty two or nineteen. So why deny it? We already know it because we can see it. We can't see the other things they haven't happened yet. If you deny it that means it's in your head or something you're trying to avoid when it's something that can be easily fixed within five seconds of breaking out a tape measure next to somebody, and we can go back and forth on this. But I know. When players are in front of evaluating and their asses are on the line and their roof over their heads with their wives and your children, depend on the difference between five nine and ten five ten and a quarter because when that kid goes out there next October and November in December and has a bunch of passes batted down. And suddenly you're team is three and six instead of six and three that may have nothing to do with the past is batting down. When the owner turns to you and says all I see on television is the guys too short. Did you not know how tall, you know, we never measured him? What? Fired sia. Well, do they need to rethink how we're doing all of this? Eight four four zero four rich Peter King Tom Izzo when we come back and our three. This is the rich Eisen show. Fox sports..

"I mean they do have the only problem is that secondary's they have some depth issues you did have you have some depth this us when it comes to defense to good top line but the they have the i think but need to need to figure that out they did they did have three interceptions so that probably that probably will help soothe some of those concerns when it comes to the secondary but the defensive line is having some issues with depth and they're getting together quarterback all right no thing is why receivers my receivers looking like they have actually as spec the opposite side of that when it comes to the debt looking like they're going to be the deeper position on the team this year they got the younger ridley riley ridley cowan's brothers gonna be coming back to lead to lead that that group receivers unitary goodwin mccoll hardman and then obviously riley ridley who's going to be some pretty nice weapons for j krom us on the outside of for that for the georgia bulldogs come out this fall all right as you come to the end of this show here on monday it was a great show very good really i like as much as we hope you guys like listening to me ran as much as i like granting i wasn't that crazy today i was pretty controlled and had some good takes over i i did get to the five through ten i told you i would took me into the third segment but i got hung up on my all these reports i'm reading regarding.

"This growing sense of alabama it was just just slowly rising slowly chipping away at georgia slade yet there are just so many moments where they did controlled the end of that game there i mean totally both offensively and defensively either they had a chance to win in regulation but bamaca's but alabama kickers are the the one true the one true flaw in the process yep yep now the for me so i i agree with you i don't think there was like one sort of play like a screw can score a pick six that um changed the game completely more than like just bring into it at two it'd that was sort of the obvious turning point in the game if i did have to pinpoint one moment that really sticks out as being crucially important though i would go with a reclined davis intercepting jake from um in the third quarter it seemed like it had a chance to slip away to intercept show oh jake from thursday eightyard touchdown to mccoll hardman on the next possession to a makes what was his biggest mistake of the game he rolls to his left she probably should've just on the ball out of bounds like it was one of those plays that georgia was getting pressure on him there was no receivers open so instead of just throwing it away he tried to force something and got picked off and that's something that is going to happen to young quarterbacks so georgia has the ball on the bam i think was there thirty nine yard line up twenty two seven more than half way through the third quarter if they can score a touchdown there and make that the score twenty seven to seven the games over rate again for as good as to a played their nakata's score twenty unanswered points in the limited amount of time that would have been left in regulation but on the first play of that georgia dr jake from firers a pass rate into the helmet of the sean hand it ricochets into the air rake len davis pulled it down demands up getting a field goal on on their position that they got.
